Bezan handed Lt commander Anderson the reports and sat down next to her as Doc McComick was administering the same test she had performed on him.
"Yes ma'am, I have been running some basic diagnostics on individual systems, under supervision ofcourse, Just to keep up to scratch" Bezan said as Anderson browsed the reports.
=^=Dr. McCormick, Cadet Biers, Major Lohnen, Commander Ford, and Cadet Salvack, report to Transporter Room One. The Ambassador will be joining you, guard him if and when necessary. I also want to know more about what type of planet this is, Commander Ford. Keep in contact with the ship.=^=
Bezan felt that same gut feeling again in the pitt of his gutt again. Why would he need protection if this was not a warzone? Diplomatic mission my thumb Bezan thought as he looked at Anderson.
"Ma'am what shall we do?" Beazn Asked

Lydia couldn't help but feel annoyed with the command team at the moment. Here they were getting there physicals done, when the Captain ordered an away team. It was her custom to be at her post at all times when there was an away team. She knew what could happen on away missions and it was her job to make sure that the ship could help them as fast as possible.
"Ma'am what shall we do?" Bezan Asked
"We'll be at our post, Cadet," Lydia responded," I will not allow our people to be in any danger because we were negligent in our duties. As soon as we arrive back in sickbay, I want a full diagnostic run on the engine. I also want a full diagnostic on helm control. I know its not our department, but as chief engineer you have to know that everything passes through our department."

"Doctor McCormick, I presume that I'm healthy for duty?" Lydia asked of the young doctor. "Could you please perform the physical on my cadet?"

It made sense to bezan, you needed to know what went through your department. just incase. if a power surge were to over load the ships systems, or a virus corrupted the ships computers, Engineering would be the first port of call. So the needed to be on top of the situation, and nip in the bud as quick as possible if something did go wrong.
"Yes Ma'am. We should get going, right?" Bezan said

Joan had gotten things underway, and did her best to ignore the comment from the cadet knowing he was trying to get out of taking a physical. It didn't take long to get done with the physicals of those who were around. Joan didn't wait for Cadet Trul to move or anything, and started his physical as the two engineers were chatting.
Suddenly Commander Nikmud's voice came calling out who would be going down to the planet. Joan sighed wishing she didn't have to go remembering a time when she was a cadet, which lead to nothing but trouble in the end. ~Well maybe this time I won't end up in the brig.~ She thought.
"Doctor McCormick, I presume that I'm healthy for duty?" Lydia asked of the young doctor. "Could you please perform the physical on my cadet?"
"Actually you are both healthy. I was performing the physical as you two spoke. You may both return to duty," Joan said and started to get together a medkit and anything else necessary she thought she would need. She noticed Cadet Biers had left for the transporter room already.
Joan arrived in Transporter Room One finding several members of the away team present. She smiled trying to not show how nervous she truely was.
"Cadet Biers, I suggest you stay close to me while on the planet, unless otherwise told by another instructor," she said hoping more than anything she didn't go missing or end up on the wrong side again.

Bezan and Anderson left sickbay and made their way back to engineering. when they arrived at the turbo lift they both stepped in, the room was silent as they rode down the lift. But the frustration was quite clear on Lt Commander Anderson's face.
Bezan stared at the Commander trying to suss out her thoughts, but all he could get was an unhappy face, then he realized he was Trill not Betazoid. He knew the crew had had a rough mission the last time they took out some recruits, but it was the fact that mistakes were being made that put the look on Anderson's face, Bezan knew she was a Stifler for organization. So this would upset her somewhat.
After a long moment the lift arrived at it's destination. They both stepped out and walked down the corridor to engineering. As the entered Anderson handed Bezan a Tricorder and they both began scanning for abnormalities. Afterwards they would run diagnostic's programs to check the efficiency of the systems that were required to support an away team.
"What are you thinking?... Uh ma'am" Bezan Said, then Anderson looked at him, He knew she knew why he was staring at her in the lift "The last mission must have been rough, but i need to know if we are in over our heads here ma'am."
He was prepared to die in the service of star fleet, but he needed to know so he could make himself more efficient in his duties. Anderson smiled at him as she took readings with her tricorder.

Daniel was clearing his mind when he heard the door to the transporter room open, opening his eyes he saw Commander McCormick turning to face him.
“Cadet Biers, I suggest you stay close to me while on the planet, unless otherwise told by another instructor”
Daniel nodded understanding what she meant “I will Commander” hoping he looked serious, as he waited for the ambassador to arrive. He was slightly impatient to get going. He wanted anything to get this ‘near war’ problem sorted and to see an ambassador in action. Smiling at the thought Daniel returned to watching the instructors, hoping to see how they were reacting in the hopes of getting an idea of what they expected on the planet.

Joan didn't like waiting, but didn't say a word about it. The ambassador arrived in due time, and they beamed down to the planet once everyone was ready. They were ordered to spread out and keep alert, something Joan didn't like hearing when they were planetside.
The group walked around and started looking for the correct building. Joan noticed a couple of people around, and they had phasers too. It made her even more nervous about being planet side when everyone seemed armed. She was glad though, the cadet was following what she had said. So far things looked like they were going to go good.
Once inside the building there were some stairs. One of the aides to the planet's leader insisted the ambassador walk up the stairs first followed by the rest of the group. A couple officers objected, but they were silenced immediately. Joan realized it was probably an insult to not have the ambassador walk ahead of them. She sighed and prepared to go up last.
The building was old, and the stairs looked like they would fall under the weight. They didn't though, but that didn't make Joan feel any better. She was uneasy, but she wasn't certain why. ~Things are going good. Not too much farther ahead and then we will be at this meeting.~ She thought trying to make herself feel better. The stairs only allowed them to ascend in a single line.
Once they were at the top, Joan looked around wondering where the ambassador had gone. She thought she was just seeing things, but she blinked a few times hoping for the ambassador to just appear.
"Hey guys, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we are missing our Ambassador," Joan said hoping she wasn't the only person to notice this.

As Daniel was materialised on the surface, he moved near to Commander McCormick. Looking around he could see a few phasers in the hand of those around them.
As the entered an old building, Daniel began to feel like something was odd, but was not able to place what was wrong. As they climbed the stairs he felt it get stronger, then it was gone. Daniel pushed it to one side as this was not the time for it. As Daniel reached the top of the stairs he could not see where the ambassador was. Confused he began looking around thinking that maybe he had been too distracted to see where he moved to.
"Hey guys, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we are missing our Ambassador" spoke Joan from behind him.
He quickly looked from one instructor to another to work out what they were thinking, Daniel know full well what they were thinking though. Daniel walked over to one of the tables to think, ~this is not good, how did he just disappear from right under us~
“Well this will complicate things” Daniel spoke silently hoping none would hear him. Moving back to the group he awaited to be told what to do. He had a feeling he was not going to be going back to the hepta anytime soon.

Alex sighed as she heard the report from the planet. Things didn't seem to be going well. She didn't like that the ambassador had gone missing, but wasn't sure what to do about it. Suddenly three ships came out of nowhere, and she found herself under attack.
"Helm, evasive manuvers. Security, fire at will. Engineering, we are going to need any and every power source you got. Ops, open a channel to the away team," Alex said and noticed several of the officers were already responding just as she had begun giving orders. ~Now that is something I could get used to.~ She thought, but didn't say anything.
"Channel open, ma'am," the female officer at Ops said. Alex nodded in response.
"Away team, we are under heavy attack. We need to relocate, and will be back for you as soon as we are able. Good luck, and happy hunting," Alex said.
"Helm, new course. Take us out of here at the highest warp we have, and make sure we have some distance between us and those ships. Engineering, status report," Alex said not desiring to desert the away team.

Engineering, status report," Alex said not desiring to desert the away team. Bezan began to work furiously as he heard the order. He began to shift power from one unused source to weapons, shields and the bridge. As he was doing this he nearly lost his footing from the blast. Jesus he thought to himself What the hell have we got ourselves into. The ambassador had gone missing and now three ships had appeared out of nowhere. He ran over to the control panel and pressed a few keys on the touch pad keyboard. "Ma'am shields at 90% and holding, systems still functional." Bezan said as another blast hit the ship "Make that 85% ma'am and we have damage to the transporters" Bezan knew he had that somehow he had to kept those transporters operational on wrong hit and they were offline. Something in his gut told him they needed to leave. Deserting the away team was not an option but in order to have the capability to rescue them, they had to fight another day. Bezan hated to say what he heard about the leaving over the comm. "Ma'am we still have Transporters. We need to get the away team out of there. Ma'am my fellow Cadets are down there." Bezan's final words were a plea for Daniel Biers. He had come to like the young man and did not wish any harm to come to him. Another blast hit the ship smoke began to leak out of various parts of engineering and sparks flew. That was a big hit. "Ma'am we've just lost Transporters.............." Tag Nikmund

Daniel looked around the room that the planed peace talks would be held, the room was old like the stairs were, and the only decoration in the room were three tables set up so that two tables faced each other with the third set between them making an open box shape. Daniel turned from the tables when he heard shouting coming from one side of the room, the two diplomats where accusing each other of abducting the ambassador. ~ Here we go they are off. That is it! ~ walking over to the diplomats Daniel changed his stance to show he was not going to let this situation to go out of control. “That is enough! Yes, the ambassador has been taken, and I am sure our science and security officers are working on finding out who is responsible. But I would think that it would be a third party trying to throw you into war.” Daniel quickly switched his gaze between the two shocked diplomats, and then he quickly threw an apologetic look to the other officers for taking over. “Now we are here for peace talks, why do we not leave the other officers to find the ambassador while we sit down and see if we can bring this to an end. My name is Daniel Biers by the way, I am a Counsellor Cadet aboard the USS Hepta. Now I would like to get these peace talks started, I am sure that is what the ambassador would have wanted.” "Away team, we are under heavy attack. We need to relocate, and will be back for you as soon as we are able. Good luck, and happy hunting" Alex said. “Well let us get started” Sitting at the third table Daniel looked at the diplomats and smiled, ~at least they are not arguing anymore~. He could see the science officers with their tricorders and scanning something and looking pleased with themselves. Hoping that meant they were finding something Daniel turned his attention to the two other tables. the diplomats looked stuborn again but they were taking him seriously now, this was going to take a while. "well lets us begin by descussing why you are fighting with each other, and only one at a time please" <tag Away Team> ooc: i will leave it open what you have found

"Alright cadet, we are no longer being fired at. I want every system running at one hundred and ten percent," Alex ordered and left the cadet to his work. She sighed and went over to Ops.
"Did we get an identification on those ships?" She asked and the officer shook her head. Alex sighed, and realized the best way she could serve at that moment. She told the Ops officer they had the bridge.
Alex entered engineering and walked over to the cadet.
"Alright cadet, tell me what you want me to do. How can I help here?"

Joan observed Cadet Biers was negotiating the peace talks, and smiled glad he had some purpose there. She went about looking for any bio signs from their ambassador but found nothing.
She walked out of the room leaving the cadet to his task walking around a bit hoping to find something. She was behind another member of the away team whose foot went through a stair. They came back up, and she mended the person’s ankle.
Joan heard the Hepta was leaving, and wanted to respond. She discovered there was no time to do so as the Hepta left immediately. ~Who could have attacked our ship?~ she thought, but pushed the thoughts away as she continued on her search of the ambassador.
Joan was called back inside the room, and she went over to where one of the science officers were. She wanted to know what was going on.
“Simple, we have located the ambassador’s comm. signal just behind this wall. They must be holding him there,” the science officer said. She sighed.
“I don’t think that is correct, but go ahead and break down the wall. We minds well have his comm. badge to give back to the ambassador when we find him. That is way too simple even for the simplest minded villain. I played spy once awhile back, and I would never have done such a thing,” Joan said and went back to her search after they got the comm. badge out of the wall.
Joan noticed there was some blood near the bottom of the stairs, and wondered whose they were. She remembered the broken stair and went down carefully. She started to analyze the blood.

The peace talks had started well with both sides agreeing why they were fighting, but the moment one of the diplomats had accused the other side of starting it, things just got worse. Most of the other officers had left looking for the ambassador leaving Daniel to handle the two sides that seemed to want to kill each other here in this room.
As Daniel was thinking he caught one of the diplomats say “it’s you who took our ship, you started this whole thing and we can finish it!”, this would be the 5th time that side had said that, Daniel had quickly learned that her side was the more powerful of the two sides, though the other ambassador hinted that his side was in the better position. The male diplomat got up causing his chair to fall over. “You couldn’t finish off a child let alone us!”
Daniel knew where this would go as both had their hands where their phasers had been, quickly standing Daniel looked sternly at the male diplomat. “Right, I thought we agreed that both sides were at fault in this issue, can we get back on to topic please”
The male diplomat sat down slowly, eyeing the female diplomat opposite him. “Right we were discussing the lands to the south that you both claim are yours, please discuss that” taking his own seat he smiled, he had picked the one issue they kept avoiding as it was originally shared equally between the two groups. Daniel was quickly getting tired of the constant attempts to blame the other for the conflict, but he knew it would keep coming up so he was planning his next attempt to stop it.
--- 40 miniatures later ---
Standing Daniel stated “okay, I think we have been at this long enough for now, I would suggest a two hour recess, during which you will not approach each other” quickly looking at the diplomats added “do you accept this term?” “Fine” they both mumbled slowly.
Indicating the stairs the diplomats left one after the other, Daniel collapsed into the chair behind him, he thought it was hard to broker a peace treaty, but not this hard. They had been stubborn all the way though the talks, and at the end of it all the female diplomat reminded them both that her people had the most military power. Getting up he made his way outside to look for the other officers, Daniel hoped they were having better luck with finding the ambassador. There was no one nearby the building where the talks were taking place. As Daniel looked up and down the ruined road he began to think of the Hepta for a moment, he hoped they had gotten away without casualties, as their chief medical officer was with him. He also hoped Bezan was okay, he liked him and hoped to get to know him better after all this was over.
Snapping back to himself he made his way back into the building, Joan might have let him take control of the talks but her orders still stood and so he went in search of an instructor till the two hours were up.

Bezan began to fix the damage, he decided to focus on the transporters first and then the shields. Keeping the ship in one piece was his priority over capability to blow others to pieces.
He'd heard that the ambassador had gone missing, in his mind from the very beginning it had been his suspicion that something was wrong.
The Captain entered engineering and walked over to the cadet.
"Alright cadet, tell me what you want me to do. How can I help here?"
"Ma'am I've managed to get the transporters back on line but we can only bring Two at a time back at the moment" Bezan replied then motioned his hand out "Can you hand me the tri corder please ma'am"
Nikmund handed him the tri corder and he began a scan. "Shields are at maximum efficiency, and weapons are at 80%, At the moment my main objective is the Transporters getting fully operational" Bezan said.
As they were talking they heard a thump coming from one of the Jeffery's tubes. Bezan got to his feet and Nikmund drew her Phaser they approached it with caution and wary. They both had curiosity and fear in their movements.
Bezan held his tricorder up to the Jeffery's tube, changed the settings and scanned the hatch. It could have just been a unit had falling out of place, Yeah that could be it , he could fix that. Then something showed on the face of nikmund a fear so deep that it scared Bezan to look into her eye's. It was the same look that he saw in the eyes of the young girl one of Trul's previous hosts had murdered in his flash black on SBC.
Then he looked back at the tri corder.
"Ma'am, it's OK. whatever it is behind the hatch you won't need that." Bezan put his hand out and lowered her Phaser with his hand "It's OK, the thing behind that hatch is not alive..................."

Daniel impatient of waiting in the conference room, made his way down to see what was going on with the search. Taking the stairs down he saw Joan crouched next to the stairs with a tricorder in hand. As Daniel made his way down, as he approached the bottom he saw the blood on the stair that Joan was analysing.
“Commander, are you having any luck finding the Ambassador?”
<tag Joan>
“well, at least it wasn’t the ambassador’s blood” Daniel spoke a little disappointed that they were not having any luck either. “those two sides are on the verge of killing each other, but looking though the records and what I could pick up in the talks, I don’t feel they are completely willing to fight and yet as soon as I mention anything peaceful they go berserk” taking a breath to calm himself he add “there is something wrong with this whole thing”.
Daniel had been wondering why the ships that attacked the Hepta had not come down, or sent people down to the planet. One reason was that they belonged to one of the sides here, or worst an external group wishing to take advantage. Daniel had spent the last hour looking though history records hoping to find some clue to how and why his conflict had began, but found nothing.
<tag Joan>
“I will leave you to your work commander” Daniel struggled to grin as he turned to go back to the conference room. As he approached the room he felt his leg fall from under him, panicking he grabbed the banister. Looking down he saw that the step had broken under his weight, embarrassed that he had reacted like someone was grabbing him he pulled himself free and continued to the conference room. He then heard what he thought was someone being transported jumping the last steps he saw the female diplomat alone.
“did you just hear something?” she responded quickly with a worried look “No, I didn’t”
“well you are a bit early for the talks, is there something on your mind?” Daniel took his seat ~I am getting paranoid, I will start seeing things next~

[ooc sorry ma'am had an idea and had to carry it on]
Bezan and Commander Nikmund approach the hatch to the jefferies tube. Bezan was full of anxiety, the anxiety of a child at christmas time. The earth celebration of the son of their god. Bezan had read about christmas and was sure he would be excited to.
As he grabbed the handle on the hatch there was a pause, he looked back at nikmund. Nikmund gave him the nod and he turned the handle and opened the hatch. As he opened the hatch a million things went through his mind as to what? or who? could be in there.
And the mystery went on as the last few inches of the door opened to reveal the body into view off both Bezan and Nikmund. He couldn't believe his eyes when his vision met with the dead body of the ambassador, and he saw the disbelief in the commanders eyes aswell.
He had been right all along it was a sabotage, somone was trying to cause a war on the already fragile planet that their colleagues they were forced to leave on the planet. But who would kill the Ambassador, It had to be someone on the ship or maybe they beamed onboard and killed him and hid the body.
That would have had to take place during the physicals he thought. That was the only time engineering would have been empty. enough time to perform the task, but how would they know about the physicals and how would they know where the ambassador was?.
All these were possibilities, but Bezan like to think it was the later rather than a sabateur in star fleet.
"Well Ma'am there's our Ambassador. single Phaser blast to the chest."

Joan didn't like the looks of the blood, and was startled out of thought by the counseling cadet. She looked over at him chuckling.
"Thanks cadet, I now know my heart works just fine. As for the Ambassador, we aren't having much luck," she responded, and thought about asking how the talks were going.
"Oh goodie, not our Ambassador's blood. Thank heavens," she said and noticed the look on his face. "Okay, what's eating you?" She asked, and he spilled about the talks not going so good.
"That happens. The best thing you can do is remind them they are there for peace and try to help them solve their problems. Anything can be talked out, given there is someone patient around to help out when needed," she assured him. She heard him say he was leaving.
"Alright, good luck cadet. I know I wouldn't want to be in your shoes, but I would like to think the peace talk is in good hands," she said trying to give him a bit of confidence as he disappeared back up the stairs.
Joan continued on the hunt hoping something would prove useful. She stored the information of the blood sample in her mind as she cleared the tricorder turning it to search for anything to aide in discovering the Ambassador's whereabouts.

OOC: Don't worry about the idea. I like it when twists are thrown in there, keeps things interesting.
IC:
Alex wasn't sure what drew her to the hatch, but she followed the cadet discovering the dead Ambassador.
"This is just going to get more ugly. I'm sick of hidding. Are we ready to return and fetch our people?" She asked knowing the cadet would know if Engineering was back to normal enough to battle those ships and finish their mission.
"Good cadet, you are coming to the bridge with me. I want you to man the Engineering station there. Lydia, keep up the good job, and let me know if our status changes down here. You can have your cadet back later," she said smiling. She noticed neither objected to this.
Once on the bridge Alex ordered Navigations to turn around and head straight back to the planet.
"When we arrive we will be facing several unhappy ships. Any ideas on how we manage to disable or, if necessary, destroy those ships?" Alex said not wanting to have everything on her shoulders. She had a few ideas, but hoped someone had something better.

Bezan arrived on the bridge with Nikmund. She explained the situation the the bridge crew and asked if anyone had any ideas. The room was quiet as the ship made it's way back for the away team. Several mouths opened and hands half raised, but then their minds must have went blank because the hands went down and the mouths shut.
Bezan remembered this theory of being able to project holographic images onto the shields of a star ship. That way they would be able to Finnish this mission without any more bloodshed.
"Ma'am i have an idea" Bezan said a little less confident, after all it was a theory.
Nikmund looked at him in expectation.
"Well first we need to make a long range subspace scan, get the shape of the ship and hopefully the species of the lifeforms. Then we need to run that through to the holosuites and then hook it up through the shields so that we look like their ship." bezan finished.
" And what Cadet do we do if they hail us" Nikmund asked.
" Thats why ma'am hopefully the subspace scan will give us the species as well run that through the holosuit and patch it through to the ships only we'll need to control the program manually, so we can respond to the individual questions, we'll see them but they won't see us. If you get my meaning" Bezan said "but so far it is just a theory"
Nikmund stood there in deep thought, she was probably processing the information that bezan had just gave out in one go.

Daniel listened to the female diplomat, she was trying to show why her side would not back down. To Daniel her reasons were weak at best, but he was not going to tell her that.
“I see where you are coming from but we must remember you are here to find peace, without fighting to achieve it. Try to listen to what your counterpart has to say. That way we might end this without anymore lose of life.”
She stood listening to him, Daniel thought maybe she has forgotten that he was a cadet at last. She nodded and went to take her seat as the other diplomat arrived, “Now let us begin” Daniel spoke confidently.
The discussions went on for 3 hours, with both sides agreeing on some things and disagreeing on others. Daniel felt they were getting some where but they were still thinking about attacking each other, he was happy to see that they had not accused each other of starting the problems which was a very good step in Daniel’s opinion.
“Well I am glad that we have agreed that the mines will belong to both sides who will gain equal amounts of all mined material, this is a great step forward for both of you. We should now move on to military issues” Daniel had been avoiding the military from the start, but now he felt it was time to move onto something they were very angry about on both sides.
“We want both military forces to be equal so neither side has any superiority to the other” the male diplomat was fast to state, quickly the woman replied “that will never happen, we will not give you our weaponry technology under any circumstance, further more we suggest that your army as weak as it is, and remove it from our boarders immediately”...
Both sides continued arguing, growing more and more agitated as they went. Daniel had to stop this “Okay, please calm down … both sides should agree to move their respected armies away from the boards to the nearest town or city, that way they can still defend the people without risking starting a war by accident” Daniel stared at both diplomats who seemed unwilling to argue nor agree. Eventually the man said “we will move our army back by 4 miles, as long as her army returns then we will leave as well” the woman was slow to nod but she did. Daniel relieved they had done that much “well I think we should call it a day for now, I hope both of you will send orders to your armies to stand down”
As the diplomats left Daniel collapsed into his chair, for the last hour he had been unable to control his telepathy and had almost had to ask them to leave. Daniel began to clear his mind to meditate and regain his control. ~I hope none of the others come up, this could take awhile~ slowing his breathing he began the one hour meditation period needed to maintain control of his gift.

After the disappearance of the Ambassador, William had used official lines of inquiry. He was met by various political types of different parties that all gave him different answers as to where to go and who to talk to about the missing Ambassador. Eventually, William decided he had done everything he could and headed back to where McCormick and Biers were working on their respective tasks. William did not see either of them at first. Then a woman appeared, walking in the shadows (it was then evening) of the building where the debates were to take place.
William approached her. "Commander McCormick," he said, nodding. "I've done all I can legally. Its a mess, trying to get through all the paperwork for so many different groups here... but at least they have all promised to do their best to locate the Ambassador while keeping as quiet as possible about his absence. How have you fared?"

She heard the cadet's suggestion and was thinking about it. ~Is there anything wrong with it? Will it work? How did we end up with a clever cadet like that? Why am I asking these questions?~ Alex thought and smiled.
"Cadet, if you think you can pull it off, then go for it. I'm willing to try anything once, well almost anything," she said knowing someone would suggest something awful like anchovies on pizza. Trying not to think of it or food, she sat down in the captain's chair to watch how this played out.
The cadet got everything ready, and she just sat back.

"Only so-so. I have discovered some blood, and found it wasn't belonging to the ambassador or any of the away team. It might have been from those who kidnapped our ambassador, if he was kidnapped. Let me know if your 'friends' come up with anything on the location of our ambassador. I hope the Hepta returns soon, we could use their help in finding him," Joan said worried. She didn't like losing people, especially that high up in rank.
Joan went outside needing some air. She noticed a young girl who wasn't feeling well, and went over to offer her services. The girl's parents refused saying their doctor would do a fine job, and whisked the girl away.
"Alrighty then," she said and sat down wondering what was making her not feel so good. ~Did I eat something bad? Did I forget to eat? I know I didn't forget to sleep. Could it be the air? Maybe being in that building too long. It couldn't have been that blood. I've seen way worse than that.~ Joan thought.

Bezan had had sorted everything by the time they had returned to the planet. He put the power distribution into his console on the bridge and began the program and it was working the shields had projected the image of the alien ships. As they approached the planet, as Commander Nikmund had predicted they hailed the hepta, bezan patched it through to the holo suite. and the Aliens appeared on the view screen.
"Ma'am all you have to do is answer and the holo program shall make the the neccesary movments and gestures just like you were talking to them face to face." Bezan explained.
"Please give us your designation" The alien creature said on the viewing screen
"Cadet cause some voice disturbance as i answer" Nikmund asked bezan "Designation .......d.....e..t....y..."
It worked it sounded like They had a problem with the communication system. Then the alien creature looked at his first officer and shrugged.
"They must have run into that federation vessel carrying the ambassador" He said to his first officer.
Bezans thoughts must have been correct they had beamed aboard to the Hepta and assasinated the Ambassador. But which side were they on and why would they want to stop the peace talks.
" i think we know who killed the ambassador ma'am" Bezan said
"The first stage is complete, Now we need to deal with those federation scum on the surface" He said to Nikmund and it all became clear it had been one big setup from the beggining.
But not even the ambassador had known how much his life was in danger. Probabely why he was so calm, but Bezan was not so naive. He knew right off the bat there was something wrong. Then something did go wrong. The image on the shields flickered.
"Err ma'am. You might want to take evasive action." Bezan said as the order on the alien ship was given to attack.
They took evasive action and formed an attack run bezan thought it was best to disable the ships.
"ma'am, maybe we should target their weapons" Bezan sugested.
Nikmund gave out the orders to target the weapons systems then they fired taking out the first ships weapons system. But a second after that the ship shook.
"ma'am Phasers are offline" Bezan said with an air of anxiety, fear and proffesionalism.
"Target the second ship, Torpedo's full spread" Nikmund ordered then they fired and destryoed the second ship. But the third ship would not back down they exchanged phaser and torpedo fire.
The fight would never end they both took little nicks out of each other. But somebody needed the edge over the other. then the ship shook again.
"ma'am impulse drives offline torpedo's offline." Bezan said trying to rearrange the power distrbution to get them back online.
Then it came a moment from doom. "Ma'am a federation vessal is arriving" A voice said from the tactical console.
A moment later both ships were destroyed.
"Ma'am they are hailing us"
