"Attention!" John heard the voice from his office, John darted up like a bolt of lightning and ran for the door. Who tells my engineers to come to attention he thought, as he bolted out of his office his computer terminal beeped to signal a message. With no thought for the message he left his office and was confronted with a romulan starfleet commander. Cooper had already engaged the officer, John found himself lost for words.
Approaching Cadet Cooper and the unknown Commander, John noted she was a superior officer which cooled the emotions running through his body.
“Commander, I do not believe we have met. Commander John McFarland, Chief Engineer and CEO Instructor.” John offered an outstretched hand to the Commander
(S’reena)
“Commander Hope, aren’t you the First Officer of the Hanson. I recall seeing your name on the manifest.” John replied, oblivious to the fact S’reena was the Hepta’s new acting XO.
(S’reena)
As S’reena explained how she was the Acting XO for the Hepta’s mission John began to feel quite sheepish. He had not received a memo, perhaps that was what was in the message which beeped before he left his office. John quickly decided to make the new XO feel welcome.
“XO on deck!” John yelled in an authorative voice. The Engineering crew all stood to attention, John hoped this would make the romulan feel more at home. As he turned to Commander Hope,
“Well, Commander if you’d like to join me in my office. I’ll bring you up to speed on all things Engineering. Cadet Cooper if you could run a full system schematic and have them on my desk for the Commander as soon as possible. Thank you.”
John finished and Cooper ran off to get the diagnostics and John guided S’reena to his office.

(OOC: sorry for the delay, i've been sick for a couple days.)
As Mati stepped off the transporter pad, he was told by the crew member that there was meeting going on in 10 forward. "Oh, great. Late already." Mati said to himself.
Having not had time to study the ship layout, Mati had to rely on the ship's computer to tell him how to get to 10 forward. It took much longer than he was hoping. Upon his arrival, he wasn't much surprised to find that he had missed the meeting.
"Well, time to find the captain and face the music."
Some time later... On the bridge
Mati walked onto the bridge and noticed that none of the senior officers was there. He walked to the captain's ready room and pressed for entry.
Come in. could be heard from the other side of the door.
Stepping in, Mati reported to the captain, "Lt Matior Uhlani, reprting in sir."
<Tag Edwards>
"Sorry for my late arrival sir. I had an important family matter to attend to that took longer than expected. But I am looking forward to be here."

Just be keepin' yourself available, as I'm suspectin' you'll be needed on this mission."

"I am Commander S'reena Hope," she confirmed, "and yes I am the first officer aboard the USS Hanson. However, with the Hanson currently in dock and the Hepta in need of a first officer, Admiral Drew decided I would be of better service here for the time being."
She glanced about engineering, her eyes locking on Cadet Cooper. "I would be interested in a tour around engineering at a more convenient time. I came here to meet the chief engineer before I move on to sickbay." She gave an involuntary shudder at the mention of sickbay. Then she handed the CEO a small rod. "I have been ordered to use this program by Hanson's chief medical officer as part of my physical training. Can you modify it to make it compatible to the Hepta's holodecks?"
Once McFarland had replied, she gave him a final nod then headed towards sickbay. Once there, she hesitated before the large doors that would offer entrance to the one part of the ship she had hoped to avoid at all cost. Sighing, she mustered all courage and stepped in. This sickbay was unfamiliar to her, and she wasn't sure she could trust this doctor. That made her wish Salek or Brelev could've gone with her on this, but both had been reassigned to their respective homeworlds.
"I am looking for Doctor Barnes," she stated to no-one in particular, "or any medical cadet that can help me. Where can I find them?"

Doctor Barnes spoke to Loni shortly after she entered sickbay. "Cadet Grebs I believe I am sharing you with the science department, so I will leave it up to you I am sure they have a good couple of experiments on the go, or you can assist me with the medicals” She nodded. “I think I will check with the Science instructor if that is alright Sir.” He replied “Ok that is fine, continue to jump between the departments while we are in this calm but I expect you here in sickbay when there are casualties.” before over to where the other medical cadet was standing.
Loni headed out of sickbay but turned back before exiting. ”Call me if I am needed.” Then she was gone and heading through the corridors for the science labs. There were advantages to having been trained in two departments. she thought as she moved swiftly towards her goal.

Cadet Cooper had been shocked by the mission briefing; Chasing ghosts not a job for Starfleet officers after an hour or so working in engineering the newly appointed first officer walked in.
"I am Commander S'reena Hope," she stated "and yes I am the first officer aboard the USS Hanson. However, with the Hanson currently in dock and the Hepta in need of a first officer, Admiral Drew decided I would be of better service here for the time being." She continued to say
Cooper looked back down at his work and continued as Commander McFarland and the first officer talked some more.
After they had finished talking Cooper walked up to McFarland and said.
“That status report you asked for id completed sir”

As Commander Hope had finished talking with Cooper and then John, she handed John a small rod: "I have been ordered to use this program by Hanson's chief medical officer as part of my physical training. Can you modify it to make it compatible to the Hepta's holodecks?" S’reena stated.
“Of course I can. I just need to remodulate it slightly.” John answered, accepting the pod and then he used one of his engineering tools at his desk to remodulate it, briefly tested it and then handed it back to S’reena.
“That should work just fine now. For the record, I don’t like medicals either but Dr. Barnes is a good doctor. Just be careful not to let one of the Cadets take your medical.” John smirked jokingly. S’reena did not appreciate the joke and was notably worried about the medical. She nodded to John and headed for the door and off to Sickbay, John shuddered at the thought of his own medical. At least Barnes hadn’t contacted him yet…
As John sat down and reviewed the message it was for him and Cooper to attend the Sickbay for medicals. It can wait! John firmly typed a reply to Dr. Barnes: “Will attend for a medical when the current shift rotation is over. John”
(Simon Barnes)
As John exited his office and returned to main engineering, Cadet Cooper approached and handed John a padd. “That status report you asked for is completed sir”
“Thank you Cooper, sorry if I was a bit off earlier. I was in a bit of a mood and by the way you have a medical to attend to in Sickbay.” John answered smiling.

Hearing the Doctors call to report to sick bay for a pyhiscal was not what he had in mind. He didn't much like them and thought they were a waste of time. Althought he knew if he didn't show up he would be order to report which was acceptable either. With no choice in the matter he excused him self from the bridge and headed for his quarters. He needed to inject him self with a masking agent.
The empire had many experiments going on and didn't want star fleet knowing about there little time travel device. Even thought it hadn't been totaly perfected it had change his cell make up a little enought to make somebody ask alot of questions. With the shot he would appear total normal with no changes. After arriving he found what he needed and headed off to sick bay to get his pyhiscal.
Walking in to sick bay he saw the doctor getting his pyhsical from one of his cadets. He felt sorry for the cadet knowing the doctor had to be a tought one. Still he thought it was a good teaching tool to help them learn.
" You asked to to report for a pyhiscal doctor Barnes I do hope this will not take to long. I still have other matters to attend to. Oh by the way our new XO has reported aboard Commander Hope. " Thats when he looked around and noticed she was already there. His blood was starting to boil alittle he did not want to be in the same room with her. But he had little choice he couldn't just walk out and really didn't want to draw any attention to himself. Looking over at her he just nodded his head and took a seat on one of the bio beds as far from her as he could.
Looking back at cadet Schmidt " I will assume your the one who is going to conduct the pyhiscal. Be warned now that I have broken my arm 5 times and each of my legs at least once. I do feel fine and have no problems to report. But feel free to confirm my statement" <Tag schmidt>

"I understand sir."
As Mati left the captain's ready room, he headed to his office to get some files that needed to be looked at.

Harry had been working in sickbay with Dr. Barnes and Loni Grebs for the last hour when Loni Grebs left to work in the science department. Dr Barnes asked Harry to conduct a physical on him. After scanning Dr Barnes with the medical tricorder Harry said.
“You are in good health sir however you could do with a little excisise your blood pressure is a little high”
<Tag Dr. Barnes>
Harry turned around when he heard the door slide open it was Commander K’ratak
I will assume your the one who is going to conduct the pyhiscal. Be warned now that I have broken my arm 5 times and each of my legs at least once. I do feel fine and have no problems to report. But feel free to confirm my statement" Harry smiled and pointed towards the biobed and said.
“Yes please sit on the bed here sir”
after K’ratak was on the bed Harry asked.
“any other problems with your health I should know about”

Looking over at where Commander Hope was sitting get her exam, His heart beat started to speed up along with his blood pressure. He barely heared cadet Schmidt ask his question about any other problems.
Althought he was sure the cadet would notice the increase in his blood pressure and his pulse. " There are no other problems to report I'm fit for combat at all times." Trying not to sound to harsh to the cadet.
" Thank you for asking Cadet I know your just doing your job. You seem to be quite good at it attention to detail is always a good thing" <Tag Schmidt>
Still every time he saw there new romulan Commander took great effort to control his anger. He had taken a oath when he switched over to star fleet for this assingment for the empire, he would control himself he would not blow it and bring dishonor to himself or the empire. Keeping his attention focused on the cadet and trying to avoid looking at there new xo.

John was reviewing the diagnostics which Cooper had run, the young Cadet was showing some real promise. It was evident from the diagnostics that Cooper paid real attention to detail, John smiled Cooper was learning. As an Engineer it was imperative that things ran efficiently and effectively and you could never check and recheck the engines and systems too many times.
John approached Cooper who was working on recalobrating the magnetic constrictors to increase the efficiency of the warp core. John hadn’t even instructed Cooper to do it, he was learning well and fast. John smiled as he spoke:
“How are the magnetic constrictors? I just finished reviewing the diagnostics you ran Cadet, some very good work there. You are shaping up to be well on your way to being a fully fledged Engineer.”
(Cooper)
“No need to thank me Cadet” John replied, “I would like you to take your diagnostic along with the Engineering report and give it to Major Löhnen on the Bridge. Its important that reports are given to Operations directly. Once you are finished, swing by SickBay for your medical with Dr Barnes then report back to Engineering.”
(Cooper)
John had given the Cadet his orders and Cooper hurriedly began work on the constrictors once more. John returned to his work and was reviewing ship systems at his control panel.

Simon considered what the cadet said, “well I will take that under advisement, continue your duties Cadet” Simon continued to watch Harry perform a medical on the Chief Tactical and Security Officer when he heard the doors to sickbay open to admit a Romulan Women, Simon tried to remember who she was but for the life of him he could not remember her even with her rank.
"I am looking for Doctor Barnes," she stated to no-one in particular, "or any medical cadet that can help me. Where can I find them?" Simon looked to his cadet who seemed not to have noticed the question, “Hello Commander, I am Doctor Barnes, how can I help you today?” Simon jumped to attention as she revealed she was the new XO for the Hepta and that she had even come down for her medical of her own will. “Well commander as my cadet is slightly busy with another medical I will conduct yours so that you can return to your duties quickly, please sit on the bio bed while I get your medical records” Simon moved to one of the console and accessed Commander Hope’s medical file, ‘well this is a long one’ Simon thought while he read though the pages.
“Right commander, do you have any illnesses, injuries or allergies not on record that I should know about?” Simon doubted the last one but he would follow protocol to the letter with his cadet watching. As the commander replied Simon picked up a medical tricorder and began scanning her to check that all her old injuries had recovered completely, and to check she had no other visible signs of illness or problems. Simon saw nothing of interest in the readings and put the tricorder down and turned to the commander, “well I see nothing new to note, I will recommend that you continue the physical training that the Hanson Chief medical officer suggested. Other that that I see no more reason for you to remain her in my sickbay, so if you would not mind I would like to free up this bio bed for a patient that might need it” Simon smiled to the XO to show he was joking so that she would not take offence.
As the XO left Simon turned back to look at Harry, “well how are you doing, is there anything I should know about from the medical you just performed?” Simon hoped that Harry had nothing to report, in the medical profession nothing to report was normally a good thing.

S'reena cast a nervous glance at the approaching doctor and his cadet, wondering if he would let the trainee subject her to the variety of required medical tests. She certainly didn't mind if he would do the basic scans, but any prodding she wouldn't be too happy with.
“Right commander, do you have any illnesses, injuries or allergies not on record that I should know about?”
"Just the synthehol and alcohol," she replied, "and that includes any medications based on that. And unless you call hydrophobia as an allergy, no there isn't anything else that you should know about."
The Romulan sat perfectly still as the doctor gave her health a complete overhaul, already annoyed that it was taking too long to her liking, far too long at that. "I did have a bad case of the Romulan flu during Hanson's last mission, though nobody seemed to have noticed that. And I suppose I am rather prone to getting into trouble, but I do doubt that's worth mentioning in my medical file?"
She knew she was rambling, as her nevosity took over. She was quite relieved when Barnes spoke up next: “well I see nothing new to note, I will recommend that you continue the physical training that the Hanson Chief medical officer suggested. Other that that I see no more reason for you to remain her in my sickbay, so if you would not mind I would like to free up this bio bed for a patient that might need it”
S'reena didn't know how fast she had to get off that bed, but she was off before Barnes had finished speaking. She rubbed her arm where he'd jabbed her to get a few bloodsamples, then smiled back at him. "I'll be on the bridge, asking the good captain for a mission brief. Notifiy me if further tests are required, then we can schedule any additional check-ups." She tapped the tube with blood. "Romulan flu is a nasty bug."
With a smile, she left sickbay and hurried back to the bridge. "Captain, could I see you in your office please? I would require a mission overview, as I was late for the briefing."

The atmosphere on the Bridge was tense. The Hepta was moving ever closer to the Denebola Cluster. Ever closer to whatever was waiting for them out there. Danny was monitoring ship's functions, looking for anything anomalous. The job was boring, but it was imperative that the ship remained at peak efficiency. Luckily, it did.
The indicator light on his instrument panel started flickering. Danny tensed. Only minutes before they reached their destination. He sawllowed and tugged his collar, before turning around to face his Captain. "Sir, we're coming up on the Denebola Cluster. E.T.A. ten minutes."
<TAG: Captain>
Danny nodded an affirmative and activated all long range and short range sensor arrays. He turned to Commander K'ratak. "Commander, I'm going to connect Tactical sensors with our scientific scanning arays. Patching you into the rest of the ship should widen our chances of discovering anything or anyone hiding out here."
<TAG: K'ratak>
Punching in the relevant commands, Danny saw the sensor displays jumping to life, giving Danny and K'ratak the most accurate view of the Denebola Cluster possible. "Patching sensor output through to the screen Captain", Danny said pressing a button. The screen lit up and showed the Denebola Cluster in all its glory. Surrounded by nebulae, the path through which the ship was travelling became clear. Somewhere in there, something deathly was waiting for them. Somewhere in there, the Vulcan ship had been attacked and now it was up to them to find out what had happened.
Slowly, but surely, the Hepta entered the Cluster.

<Transporter room 1, USS Hepta>
After arriving aboard the Hepta James had been told that since there was no diplomatic instructor on the ship that he would be under the tutelage of Lieutenant Uhlani who was the ships counselor on this training mission, he thought to himself 'I'm going end up a ships counselor after i graduate', but that was not what he wanted to be trained in.
“welcome to the Hepta Cadet “ said the Transporter chief who then handed him a PADD with his quarters on and instructions on where it was stationed as he said “Thanks Sir”as he accepted the PADD, whilst he began to exit the Room he realised that he would have to ditch the diplomatic robs that he had been given and take on the blue uniform of that of the medical.
'First thing to do is report in to Lieutenant Uhlani ' he thought to himself as he looked at the PADD he had been given he continued on in thought' I wonder where the officer is' as he asked the computer”can you tell me where I might find Lieutenant Uhlani Computer ?”

Loni arrived in science to find it deserted and after standing around for a while decided to head back to sickbay. She moved quickly through the corridors and soon was back in sickbay.
The doors opened and she entered quickly finding Doctor Barnes. As she joined him "Sir, Nobody is down in the labs so I came back here. What can I be doing?" asking, knowing that she needed to keep busy.

Sitting at his desk, consumed by the task of reading the files before him, Mati was a little surprised when a cadet walked in and reported.
" Ah, Cadet Stewart. I was just looking at your file. It seems that I am to be your instuctor. Even though I am not a diplomat, As ships councelor, it falls to me to advise the staff in situations that would regulrly merrit one. So, I hope you are ready."
After giving a short mission briefing to the cadet, Mati led the way to 10 forward. In response to the shocked look on the cadets face, Mati simply said, "I work better after I've eaten."
Sitting down with his food finished, Mati asked, "What do you know of the inhabitants of this area of space?"
<Tag Stewart>
"Ok, good. The first thing every diplomat, and counselor, needs to know, is who and/or what they will be dealing with. If you know alot about Vulcans and are dealing with Klingons, it doesn't do you any good. The second thing you need to know, is what you bring to the table. Why should they listen to you? What do you have that they want? What do they have that you want? And do they know it? If so, you have a verbal bantering about what will be given for what. Sounds simple but it isn't, trust me. To help prepare you for what we might encounter, I have prepared a PADD for you to look over. It has several scenarios that I would like for you to read and then give me your opinion on what would benifit both participants. You have the rest of the day. Any questions?"

Arriving on the bridge and assuming his station he watched the view screen, They entering the Denebola Cluster. He watched the tatical station get flooded with information with the ship senors tied in to tatical. It was a bit overwhelming all at once trying to figure out what was what.
Looking over at major Lohnen. "Thank you major but I think I'm going to need alittle help from a science officer to figure some things out"
Tapping his Combadege " Cadet Grebs please report to the bridge your assitances is need"
Cadet Grebs arrived a few moments later " Cadet right now the ship senors are tied to tatical, Some of the information coming through is a little beyound me, I would like your assitance trying to figure what some of this stuff is" <Tag Grebs>

Loni had just finished speaking when her combadge blipped. =/\= Cadet Grebs please report to the bridge your assitance is needed =/\= She turned on her heel after nodding to the doctor "Let me know if you need me." she tapped her combadge and replied as she headed for a nearby turbolift. =/\= On my way Sir =/\= It surprised her that the Commander asked for her assistance but was glad as well. She liked working with the Commander and had enjoyed her time at tactical.
Several minutes later she stood on the bridge and listened as the Commander spoke. "Cadet right now the ship senors are tied to tactical, Some of the information coming through is a little beyond me, I would like your assistance trying to figure what some of this stuff is." She turned towards the tactical display "Yes sir." She ran her fingers over the console, working to fine-tune the display, this tactical console not so different than the last one she had stood at.

Cadet Cooper had recalobrated the magnetic constrictors and had now ran off to deliver the Engineering report to Ops and then to Sickbay for his medical. This gave John a good chance to work on Cadet Cooper’s evaluation, he would have to report to the XO the progress of his Cadets who would in turn inform the Captain. John left main engineering and decided to work on the report in Ten Forward, it would give him time to relax and clear his mind.
John arrived at Ten Forward and found himself a quiet spot by one of the windows and he watched as the Hepta exited warp into the Denebola cluster. The nebulae were something to behold, well at least the scenery is good, John mused to himself. John looked down at the padd in which he was evaluating his young Cadet. John disliked evaluations, evaluating someone’s performance was never easy and not necessarily accurate – it was a mere reflection of an opinion. In Cooper’s case John’s reflection was good, he was a hard working person who paid significant attention to detail and was developing real promise as an engineer. John was pleased he had gotten such an engineering natural for a Cadet, and glad he had nothing negative to report, he was not a man to stifle or criticise someone’s efforts.
John looked down one last time at the padd. He was satisfied with his valuation of Cooper and sat it down and then remembered he had promised Simon he would attend SickBay. Tapping his comm badge and heading for the door he contacted the good Doctor, John hated medicals. No doubt Simon would ask about the scarring on his left leg and that just brought back bad memories and all the pain all over again.
=^= McFarland to Dr. Barnes. Simon, I am on my way to SickBay. I almost forgot about my medical, can you slot me in? =^=
John was leaving Ten Forward as he awaited his comm. badge to beep with a reply.

"By the way sir, I have heard that there is a diplomat cadet on board. Am I to assume that I will be having a cadet on this mission?" TJ was surprised that Counselor Uhlani hadn't as yet been contacted by his cadet, but he did remember seeing something about a counseling cadet coming aboard this mission.
"That ye have, accordin' t' what I'm hearin'. I've not seen th' files on your cadet, but ye should be comin' up soon t' meeting him – or her." With a smile, S'reena left sickbay and hurried back to the bridge. "Captain, could I see you in your office please? I would require a mission overview, as I was late for the briefing." Yes, she had been late... unavoidably so. A special briefing would not only be in order, it would be an absolute requirement. Whoever heard of keeping the First Officer in the dark, while at the same time informing every other person aboard of the particulars of the mission? Such an idea would have been preposterous!
"Let's be goin', then," he told her quietly.
Just as he spoke those words, Major Löhnen informed him of their approach to the Denebola Cluster, their plotted entry into the region known as the Denebolan Cube.
"Slow t' half our current speed, an' inform me when we actually enter th' Cluster... meantime, you have the comm."
Leaving the Bridge with the XO, they stepped over to the Ready Room and TJ brought his First Officer up to date on the current mission.
He had only just completed the update when Major Löhnen's voice came over the intercom in the Ready Room...
=^= Patching sensor output through to the screen, Captain. =^=
At the same time the image filled the main viewscreen on the Bridge, it did so in the Captain's Ready Room as S'reena and TJ watched the entry.
"Move th' Hepta in gently at first, Mr. Löhnen; we'll be back on th' Bridge momentarily."

Cadet 4th class Anthony An walked briskly through the starbase corridors to the transporter room. He wanted to run continually instead of this intermit walking, but around each corner was another officer. Anthony An was assigned to beam aboard the USS Hepta from the starbase as she passed by but he was late.
“Maybe I accidentally ran pass the transporter,” An commented to himself as he followed the red light on the bulkhead guiding his path. Just as An was about to ask the computer again for a guide to the transporter, he saw the wide doors ahead on the left.
An bolts through the transporter room door and catches his breath. He feels the chief starring at him. “Sorry sir, I’m late, won’t happen again, I know I should have been here earlier…” “The Hepta isn’t out of transporter range yet, you better get on the pad, Cadet.” “Thank you, sir.”
An finally stepped on the pad and remembered how he has wanted to join Starfleet ever since he was a little kid. “Energize.”
Seconds later, An materialized aboard the USS Hepta transporter pad. After recovering from a second of dizziness, the transporter operator told him he was to report to the bridge to see the captain. An did his intermitted running again until he reached the turbolift and gave the “Bridge” designation to the computer.
An endured the longest turbolift ride in history. He did not know how the captain would react to his tardiness. “What if he beams me to some cargo shuttle,” An asked to himself. As he was about to answer himself, the doors opened to the bridge. He first noticed the Klingon Commander K'ratak starring at him. An looked for the captain as he walked down the ramp and saw the temporary first officer Commander S'reena Hope standing up from the captain’s chair. Before An could speak, Hope told him that the captain was in his ready room. “Thank you, ma’am.” An activated the buzzer and waited for the captain’s permission to enter.

Simon was in his office has Cadet Grebs returned. Standing he walked over to loni to see if she was ok. “Sir, nobody is down in the labs so I came back here. What can I be doing?" Simon thought a little, he had Harry carrying out medicals and Loni could always help. “Well Loni you can help Cadet Schmidt to perfo ..” Just as he was speaking a comm. from the CTSO arrived asking for Loni to report to the Bridge, “Let me know if you need me." Simon smiled as she left ‘she keeps coming and going, i hope see gets some rest at some point maybe i should call her down for no reason'.
Simon was starting to relax when a communication came though, =/\=Sickbay, we have a medical emergency on Deck 34, we have 2 burned engineers here the power conduit overloaded.=/\= ‘well there goes a quiet day’ =/\= Acknowledge=/\= Simon quickly walked into the Sickbay and looked for Cadet Schmidt. “Cadet you and one other nurse with me, everyone else make sure we have two bio beds ready for arrivals, and clear sickbay for that matter” <Tag Harry> Simon picked up his emergency medical kit as he walked out of sickbay and made his way to the turbo lift. As he arrived his comm. badge went off again ‘not again’ =^= McFarland to Dr. Barnes. Simon, I am on my way to Sickbay. I almost forgot about my medical, can you slot me in? =^= ‘well he has timing’ tapping his comm. badge he replied “Well John you could go to Sickbay but I am heading down to Deck 34 to sort out some of your engineers that just saw why being near a overloading conduit is a bad idea” Simon felt that he had snapped at John maybe a bit too much but he never did it to cadets. <Tag John> “Deck 34”
Arriving on the deck he made his way down the corridor with Cadet and nurse in tow, “right Harry, when we get there I want you to pick a patient and begin treatment that you believe is right, Nurse I want you to help him in whatever way he wants” <Tag Harry>. Just as Harry finished an engineer came running down the corridor, “sir, it is this way” the engineer began to lead them to the scene that Simon had seen far too many time. There were two men sprawled over the floor with burns to most of their bodies, Harry moved towards on of the men so Simon moved towards the other, taking out his tricorder he began checking the man’s vitals, ‘well these are quite low, and looking at him there is nothing I can do here’ Simon looked over to Harry before hitting his comm. badge =/\=Transporter room, 2 to beam to Sickbay immediately=/\= as the scenery changed to that of Sickbay Simon quickly got up and began ordering the staff around, “I need a Anabolic Protoplaser now, and set up a Quarantine Field around him now” Simon knew time for this man was limited, and if he repaired the burns but did nothing to stop infection he would be wasting his time. ‘I hope Harry’s Patient is easier than mine is’ Simon set to work repairing the burns.

Loni was working hard at the tactical station when she turned to Commander K'ratak "What would I have to do to transfer to tactical Sir?" She'd been thinking a lot since the adventure with the asteroid and felt that maybe a transfer would be a good idea. Already on the training mission she'd spent less time in sickbay or the science labs and more with Commander K'ratak and liked learning what he was teaching her.
She continued to work over the information which had been given to her by Commander K’ratak. She wondered what they would find in this area of space, wondered if they would become one of the missing ships and who would come rescue them if they disappeared. All these things ran through her head as she continued to work, gathering the information.
