Dear all,
So as to keep the "report in" thread conveniently to-the-point, let's start simming on this thread until the Captain posts the mission thread.
NB: please report in on the designated thread before simming about your day-to-day business aboard the ship on this thread.
Löhnen
It was good to back on the ship. Danny distinctly remembered Starfleet Command's deliberations to temporarily mothball the Hepta. He also remembered turning about as green as his Marine uniform when the decision was finally made. He hadn't expected to set foot on the ship ever again, but still, here he was, back where he belonged.
Danny's quarters were basically as he had left them. A fine veneer of dust covered all flat surfaces. Clearly, mothballing a ship also meant dispensing with the cleaning staff. It could wait though.
The corridors smelled faintly of something Danny couldn't quite place. Perhaps the air had grown stale because nobody had set foot inside the ship for months. One of the first things he would do was let in some fresh air from the SB supplies, before they would leave spacedock again.
Danny had already seen the Captain and XO. They seemed cheerful about being back in action. Most of the Instructors on this trip were new, though, and Danny made plans to get acquinted as soon as the opportunity arose.
The turbolift doors on the Bridge slid open and Danny entered. He looked around, took a deep breath and walked towards his console, which seemed to be bleeping happily at his approach. Danny stroked it, lovingly, before sitting down in his chair. The operations console hadn't changed. Thank God for small favours, he thought.
In the course of his career in Starfleet, Danny had figured out his own console lay-out, thereby optimising user-speed, user-friendliness and overal performance quality. He had had several disagreements with Starfleet technicians on the matter and his general opinion of them was that they had grown somewhat too fond of pencil-pushers' user manuals. Still, after almost every maintenance job, Danny was left with the annoying task of completely recalibrating and reconfiguring his console. The last time it had happened, he had actually tracked down the technician responsible for resetting the console and he had promised him to summarily execute him if he ever came within a hundred yards of the Ops console again.
Calling up the crew roster, Danny saw that he had a new Cadet and that she had already reported aboard. Good, fresh meat for the grinder, he thought, thinking of all the things he wanted to teach her.
Unlike most Starfeet officers nowadays, Danny wasn't overly fond of computers. Basically, he considered them a necessary evil. Cadets were rarily taught to do anything manually anymore, with the annoying result that if the power or the computers failed (which tended to happen quite a lot during critical situations), the cadets were at a complete loss, jeopardizing themselves and everybody else on the ship in the process. Danny usually showed them how to use their brains instead of their computers, something they didn't always like.
As he punched in the commands for the air-refreshing systems to kick in, Danny tapped his comm badge.

Simon sat in his office overlooking the nurses checking the supplies that had just been delivered, like normal the items were not as he ordered them again ‘reminds me of the good old days’. Simon had not been a chief medical officer aboard a star ship in quite a while now, since he joined the academy staff he had been doing lectures on Earth, he felt right being back in a sickbay. Walking out Simon wondered if he was ever going to see the day when what he ordered was exactly what he got, “right, when you have finished could you write up a list of what we are missing so that I can re ask for it before we leave, I would like to have this sickbay fully stocked before we leave” Smiling to the nurse she nodded and said “yes doctor”.
Picking up a Padd that had been lying on his desk he found that his first cadet had been listed ‘well I had better find him then’. Simon disliked not knowing all his staff well before they even considered leaving Space dock. Tapping his comm. badge Simon spoke =/\=Cadet Schmidt, if you would be so kind could you meet me on holodeck 1 in 10 minutes. This is Commander Barnes your instructor by the way=/\= Simon felt odd, he had never needed to call cadets to him via the comm system, he was getting slightly rusty with the things. Simon walked out of sickbay and made his way to the holodeck, hope to set up a program before the cadet arrived, knowing he had given little time for error.
As Simon set up the holodeck program he spotted a cadet in gray moving towards him. “Ah, Cadet Schmidt I believe, well welcome to the Hepta, I will be you instructor during your time aboard. I thought we would have a good chat and get to know each other properly before we set off”.
<Tag Schmidt>
“Well after you” Simon indicated Harry to enter the holodeck first.

Harry Schmidt had barley spent five minutes on the U.S.S Hepta when his Comm badge chirped and activated. =/\=Cadet Schmidt, if you would be so kind could you meet me on holodeck 1 in 10 minutes. This is Commander Barnes your instructor by the way=/\=
Harry Schmidt walked quickly to his quarters where he dumped his bag on the floor, Harry then walked towards the computer terminal and pushed a few keys in order to bring up the ships schematics. After learning where Holodeck 1 was Harry made his way there.
When Harry arrived he was greeted by a man in his mid thirties with ginger hair and a pale complexion. The man walked towards Harry saying. “Ah, Cadet Schmidt I believe, well welcome to the Hepta, I will be you instructor during your time aboard. I thought we would have a good chat and get to know each other properly before we set off”.
Harry smiled as he reached out to shake Dr. Barnes’s hand after shacking hands Harry said. “Thank you sir good idea I like to know who I am working with as well” Commander Barnes mentioned towards the Holodeck door and said. “Well after you”
Harry smiled and said. “Thanks”
When Harry entered the Holodeck he saw the most realistic garden he had ever seen on a Holodeck, To the left there was a small café Harry and Dr. Barnes walked towards a table and sat down. Harry decided to start the conversation by saying. “I look forward to this mission sir, I have always wanted to join Starfleet like my father you may have heard of him Admiral Paul Schmidt he was the commanding officer of deep space 7 when it was destroyed”

It wasnt long before Sandy was getting back out there on board a ship, after being transfered early from the Hanson.
Waking up early, Sandy had a quick shower. finishing that quicker than she had hoped, she got into a fresh clean uniform, put her 2 cadet pips on and walked over to the replicator for a bite to eat.
"Traditional full english breakfast" she said, seconds later the food began to matirealize in front of her.
Take hold of the plate she turned and sat at a near by table and ate her breakfast. the full english was just that, full, Mushrooms, baked beans, egg, sauage, tamato and a lovely couple of pieces of fried bread.
Not leaveing a scrap of it, Sandy wash the plate and put it away, the quickly cleaning her teeth she left, taking her carry case and a few other bits and pieces, and headed for the Hepta.
once aboard she droped her things of in her quaters. With not much to do but report in she got her self a drink. walking over to a replicator she said "Earl grey, hot", moments later a cup of steaming hot earl grey materialized.
As she say down to drink it, the call came for her to report in.
=^=Cadet Black, this is Major Löhnen. I'm your Instructor for this mission. Please report to me on the Bridge. Löhnen out.=^=
She gave a great sigh as it came.
Placing the drink on the table she got up, straitening her uniform in the process and left her quaters for the bridge. grabbing a near by turbolift she entered, as she did so said "Deck one, bridge" the turbolift began moving in a smooth swift manner, and she was being swallowed by the hepta's bridge in no time.
Once on the bridge she walked over to a man at the Ops console, stood smartly, she said "Cadet Sandy Louise Black reporting for duty sir"

Danny turned around at the sound of the turbolift doors. He saw a young girl coming towards him. He assumed it would be his cadet. When the girl had reached him, she snapped to attention.
Danny nodded and extended his hand. “Welcome aboard the Hepta Miss Black. I’m Major Löhnen, your Ops Instructor.” After a little hesitation, she took his extended hand and shook it.
Danny turned towards the Ops station. “I assume you have already operated a similar system before….” It was not a question. He turned back to his new Cadet. “Well,” we’re supposed to be on our way within the week, so there’s lots to be done. Your first assignment aboard this ship is to run a level 1 diagnostic on all ship’s systems and sub-systems. I need this ship in top-shape before the Captain takes us out. Coördinate with Engineering. Your contacts there will be Commander MacFarland and Cadet Cooper. You’ll find Ops and Engineering work closely together, so we have to get to know each other very well. I’d like hourly reports on your progress. When you’ve finished, we’ll grab a drink in Ten Forward. Questions?”

John had familiarised himself with the Hepta in only the few days he had been onboard. He picked his own quarters, with a view of the warp nacelles as an Engineer it was the only quarters he would consider. John was currently familiarising himself with Main Engineering, this was going to be where he spent most of his time aboard the Hepta. John was running some status checks on the warp reactor, making sure that everything was in tip top shape.
He was looking forward to this mission, his first mission as an Instructor, eager to meet his fellow instructors and his cadets. John picked up his padd which detailed his cadets on it, he had one cadet to instruct on this run. ‘Cadet Cooper’, John had met Cooper aboard the starbase and was confident in his ability to be a fine officer. Sitting at his workstation, he asked the computer if Cooper was aboard. The computer acknowledged that Cooper was aboard and gave his location in ever so specific detail. One thing that always amused John, with computers you never got a simple answer to a simple question. Tapping his Comm Badge;
=^= Cadet Cooper, this is Commander McFarland. I’ll be your instructor for this mission, please report to me in Main Engineering. McFarland out. =^=
John decided to kick back and put his feet up on the console, he got a few odd looks from his fellow engineers as he waited for Cadet Cooper to report in.

Walking aboard the hepta again was a relief. He thought he was going to be stuck on a star base forever. But they were going to ne shiping out soon heading into the the unknown. Still there were things he had to deal with and take care of. He still had his mission to complete for the empire. He was hoping nothing would get in the way of that including his duties aboard the hepta.
It kind of sad for him because he really did enjoy teaching.

"No questions sir" Sandy said.
Major Löhnen nodded and Sandy turned to leave the bridge, reentering the turbolift she had just exited 5 minutes before she said "Main enginering", once the doors had closed it began moving in the same manner as before, swift but smooth.
When the turbolift halted Sandy got off and walk towards one of the computer terminals on the wall, she took a look at the deck layout so she cols make her way to engineering to meet up with this cadet cooper and commander McFarland.
finishing with the terminal she turned to her right and began walking in a brisk manner, it wasnt long till she had reached the double doors of enginering. she stoped, straitened her uniform and walked inside.

John was still sitting with his feet on the console and leaning on his stool as a young female Cadet entered. Just as she arrived, John noticed a message on his screen from Ops: ‘Cadet Black will be arriving at Engineering to run a diagnostic for Ops. Regards, Major Danny Löhnen’
John laughed to himself, very well he thought. On the ship for 5 mins and they're checking up on me already.
John looked up at the Cadet, “You must be Cadet Black, I’m Commander John McFarland. I understand you’re are here to run a diagnostic?”
As John had finished with his introduction, the young Cadet saluted him. John smiled he appreciated the respect but he was never one for salutes.
(Black)
“You can work from my station here, if there is anything I can assist you with, I will be more than happy too.”
John stood up and offered the Cadet his seat to run her diagnostics from. Black thanked him and smiled, John was slightly perplexed Cooper had still not reported in. He was probably getting aquainted with his new quarters…
“By any chance have you seen Cadet Cooper anywhere?”

John had asked the young Cadet if she had noticed Cadet Cooper on board but alas she had not."I am afraid not, I havent been on board that long to be honest so I havent seen any other cadets aboard" she replied.
“I’m sure he is probably just getting to grips with the ship. Here is my Engineering report, upon your return to Operations could you give this to Major Löhnen.” John said handing Cadet Black a padd which he thumbprinted to give his authorisation for.
Cadet Black nodded and took the padd from John, “Yes sir, I’ll make sure he gets it.”
“You might want to have a read through it yourself, once you are an Operations Officer in the fleet you’ll have to be dealing with department reports.” John added, he knew a little about what Ops Officers did on a starship but his knowledge was exactly that little.
(Cadet Black)
“How is the diagnostic going? I hope everything is working within normal parameters we had a slight problem with the plasma injectors but I readjusted the settings so the engines should be operating at 100%.”
(Cadet Black)
John was enjoying having a Cadet to talk to, the ship was not ready to leave yet and it was nice to speak with the new Cadet who was displaying an enthusiasm for the role which John admired.

Sandy took the padd, "I will have a quick scan off it later" she said as she placed down besides her.
“How is the diagnostic going? I hope everything is working within normal parameters we had a slight problem with the plasma injectors but I readjusted the settings so the engines should be operating at 100%.” Cammander McFarland commented.
"Everything seems to be fine, the injectors have gone out of phase by point one again, but besides that the ship is surprisingly in tip top condition baring in mind its been out of action for so long." sandy said in reply, "Any idea when we will be leaving dry dock?" she asked.

"Everything seems to be fine, the injectors have gone out of phase by point one again, but besides that the ship is surprisingly in tip top condition baring in mind its been out of action for so long."
John nodded in acknowledgement, this Cadet obviously knew what she was doing. She even knew what he was talking about with the plasma injectors.
"Any idea when we will be leaving dry dock?" Asked Cadet Black
“Your guess would be as good as mine Cadet, I would imagine Captain Edwards would hold a mission briefing before we leave. So as soon as we get a call for a briefing we’d be heading out after that, I don’t imagine it will be long from now though.” John answered
John stood over by the master systems display, started to run a quick check over shipwide systems. Just ensuring that everything was as it should be, John found himself getting itchy feet as he waited for the Hepta to leave for their impending mission. Turning to Cadet Black, he thought he would get to know her a little better so he asked:
“What made you join StarFleet and train in Operations?”

“What made you join StarFleet and train in Operations?”
"My Brother, he was training to be a helms officer, I used to help him out when ever he needed it, for some reason it sparked my interest into the operation side of being on a starship" she said, trying to avoid the subject of her brothers death.
"What about you, what made you want to be an engineer?" she asked him

Danny punched in the necessary commands on his Ops console on the Bridge. His override code allowed him to monitor nearly all systems aboard the ship. With his override code, he could see what everbody was doing at present and what everybody had been doing for the past 48 hours. Only the Captain and XO were exempt from this scrutiny, because they usually worked with much higher security clearances.
Right now, Danny monitored the Engineering systems, so as to be ready for anything. It wasn't as though he didn't trust his new cadet, but, as they had hammered into him at Starfleet Academy: caution above everything.
The diagnostic was coming along well. So far, Cadet Black had discovered a slight misallignment of the plasma-injectors, but nothing serious so far. He also saw how thoroughly she scanned each sub-system as well as all the main systems. She appeared to be very capable, with a good eye for detail. Danny was very pleased.
After logging out, Danny turned away from the console, which was taken over by a Petty Officer on duty, and left the Bridge. On his way to Engineering, Danny thumbed through the latest reports from various sections. He still missed reports from Engineering and Medical, but since he hadn't had a chance to meet the new Instructors yet, he decided he might as well collect them himself.
The air-refreshers had done their work. Thankfully, the air in the corridors and turbolifts smelled fresh again, as if the ship had never left active service. Danny breathed deeply and hummed quietly to himself. He nodded a greeting to some passing junior officers and his mood improved with every step he took. He couldn't wait to get back out again, to be where it really happened.
The doors to Engineering slid open and Danny stepped into the buzz of activity that always occupied the Engineering department. Crewmen and Petty Officers were running diagnostics, junior officers were supervising and cadets were running around trying to find the right buttons to push at the right time. Danny smiled at their insecurity. Once, a long long time ago, he had been like that as well. It seemed like an eternity ago that he had started out as Engineer on a Galaxy Class starship. It seemed centuries ago that he had been that young.
Before transferring to the Marines, and after that to Starship Operations, Danny had been trained as a Starship Engineer. He had actually served in that capacity for quite a while. The Marines added the necessary spice to his life, but after knocking down one of his superiors in a disagreement about freeing hostages, he had been exiled to a desk job back on Earth. He couldn't have been happier when Captain Edwards accepted him as Operations Instructor on the Hepta. Although he still retained his Marine rank, Danny felt much happier working as part of the starship crew. Each trip to Engineering felt like a trip down memory lane.
At the MSD, an officer Danny hadn't yet met stood supervising a couple of Petty Officers. Danny also saw Cadet Black punching in commands on the "pooltable" nearby. He approached the officer. "Commander MacFarland I assume," he said. The officer looked up from his readings and nodded. Danny extended his hand. "Major Danny Löhnen, Ops Instructor. Pleased to meet you Commander."
<TAG: Commander MacFarland>
Danny turned to his cadet."What's the status so far Cadet? Have you run into any problems?"
<TAG: Cadet Black>
Danny nodded, pleased with her report. "Excellent work Cadet. Now let's have that drink I promised you. Care to join us Commander?"
<TAG: Cadet Black, Commander MacFarland>

Arriving on the bridge he head for the tatical station it was empty and he still didn't know if he was going to have a cadet this mission yet. Walking upt to his station he brought it up on line to check its status. Everthing was function was reading green, Which was good since the ship just came out of the repair dock.
Looking around the bridge and eyeing Alex seat he laughted alittle, she would kill him. Still he thought it was funny alittle. He started to go through his system check and steady any up grades that might have been made. Double checking his tatical screen it started to relay information of ships in the area.
Looking back up at the view screen he kicked it on to show the stars. He always like looking at the stars he stood there for a moment trying to name the systems he knew.

Cooper had only been aboard the U.S.S Hepta for fifteen minutes and he had already unpacked his possessions and set up his quarters. Cooper sat down at his desk and activated LCARS computer terminal, Cooper brought up a schematic of the U.S.S Hepta he wanted to be at least familiar with the ship before the mission started. After getting familiar with the ship Cooper decided to look at the crew manifest while looking at the manifest Cooper noticed Cadet Harry Schmidt would be on this mission Cooper sighed and rolled his eyes he had several dealings with this cadet back on earth they never got along very well.
After 20 or so minutes Cooper decided to head down to engineering to report in to Commander McFarland. When Cooper arrived in engineering he saw Commander McFarland a Cadet and a marine officer never one for being shy Cooper introduced himself. Cooper looked at the marine officer and said.
“Hello sir my name is cadet Cooper I noticed you are the Operations officer I look forward to working with you” <Tag Major Löhnen>
Cooper then turned to the cadet and said. “Hi it is nice to meet you I am Cadet Cooper” <Tag Cadet Black>
After exchanging greetings with the officer and cadet Cooper turned to Commander McFarland and smiled while saying. “Hello again sir I hope this mission goes more smoothly than my time on the station” <Tag McFarland/All>

Alex was sitting in her seat going over a few reports glad to be back aboard the ship. She observed where everyone was hoping things would go good for everyone. She saw the Ops personnel were busy talking to the Engineering people and it made her smile a little. It was then that she noticed the helmsman apparently asleep on the job. She looked up who it was she would be addressing and walked over to where this officer was.
"Petty Officer Llewellyn it would be wise for you not to sleep on the bridge of a starship and due your duties," Alex said spying Commander K'trak out of the corner at her eye enter the bridge and move over to his station.
(Llewellyn)
Alex was surprised by this answer and moved toward where Commander K'trak was.
"Hello there Commander, it is good to see you around again, by the way you owe me dinner. Perhaps your quarters tonight at seven o'clock," she said only loud enough for him to hear her.

[Location: Starbase Conqueror 01200]
Petty Officer 1st Class Llewellyn had received the message to board the starship Hepta to begin another training cruise. She sighed wishing someone would remove their heads from their rear end and sent this earlier so she would have time to pack properly and board the ship unfortunately this wasn't the case and she was made to hastily pack so she wouldn't miss the next mission.
[Location: USS Hepta, 01230]
Having arrived placed her bag in her quarters and reported to the bridge Kerine was sitting at the helm making sure no one tampered with her area of expertise the helm, and was happy to see nothing seemed out of place as she quickly tapped a few buttons once everything was checked out she leaned back and closed her eyes trying to feel the bridge desiring to know where everyone was without having to look around to see.
Meditating was always her way something she had learned to do to keep herself alert even on the bridge of a starship, and she had been doing this for a long time hearing the words of the first officer about not sleeping on the bridge.
"I am not asleep, Commander, but instead very alert to where everyone is what they are doing and the conversations they are having something I've been able to do since I was very young. I'll do my job and let you get back to yours," she said not even opening her eyes or leaving her state.

“I look forward to this mission sir, I have always wanted to join Starfleet like my father you may have heard of him Admiral Paul Schmidt he was the commanding officer of deep space 7 when it was destroyed”
Simon remembered the name vaguely, but could not for the life of him remember if he actually meet him “Yes, I do recognise the name, but I do not believe I ever had the pleasure of meeting him. And as for the mission it will be fairly routine as most training mission are cake walks in comparison to some of those you will do on a regular star ship” Simon hoped this was true, he had read that the USS Hepta had a knack for turning simple easy missions into full blown missions, but he was not going to tell his cadet this as it would show how good he was under pressure. “I think I will run you though you initial duties that I have already done for you for the time when you actually become a chief medical officer, then we will start doing some physicals as the crew do need to have a check up, and I have an idea who I am going to drag in” Simon smiled at the cadet, “well let me explain the first things you do before a mission, while we are docked anyway.”
Simon explained how he would go though the duty roster for the department, showing him an example of one on his Padd, he then went on to explain that checking what you have been given by star base personnel in comparison to what you ordered would allow you to make sure you got what you wanted. Simon noticed the cadet did not look very interested, so Simon got up and walked to the arch and keyed in a code to change the scenery of the holodeck to that of a sickbay with medical equipment freshly delivered, and a single nurse standing waiting for orders. “Ok let’s see what you can do” Simon handed Harry a Padd with a router and an inventory list. “I want you to check off all equipment and ensure that you send a report to base personnel requesting any missing items. Also you must sort out your department’s roster. And just so you know we are pulling out of space dock in 2 hours so you have to have the department fully ready by then. So …” Simon places his finger next to the clock timer button “…begin” hitting the button Simon heard a familiar =/\= 2 hours till departure =/\= come from the computer.
<Tag Harry>
Simon watched as Harry decided what he was going to do first, Simon took a seat to watch and left the chief’s chair free if he wanted it.
<Tag Harry>
(OOC: well let’s see what you can do, you can decide how bad the delivery is; just remember what my first post said about deliveries)

Hearing the first officer question and smiling alittle, he had to admit she was the high lights of his mission as well as being able to teach. Still his mission for the empire had to come first but no one said he couldn't have some fun until then.
"Hello there Commander, it is good to see you around again, by the way you owe me dinner. Perhaps your quarters tonight at seven o'clock," she said only loud enough for him to hear her.
Looking back at her " But of course I couldn't think of anything else I would rather do. Well almost nothing looking back down at her chair. I will make you a meal to remember and I promie no blood wine." <Tag alex>
Looking down at the helm he notice the office sitting there. " True it looked like she was a sleep but he was sure that was just it looked like she was a sleep. He had heard that there people out there that could fly by feel. He had never met one before so he was looking forward to watching her.

Cadet Black had explained why she joined Starfleet, John felt she was concealing something painful about why she joined the fleet. John was not going to push the young cadet, she seemed to have an inner strength and her answer was clearly honest. Many officers in the fleet had lost family or friends which had caused them too join the fleet, John guessed it could be something similar.
"What about you, what made you want to be an engineer?"Cadet Black asked him
“Good question, family tradition I guess. My father was an Engineer and my mother was a Doctor both were in the fleet. I was born on a starship and I wanted to follow my father’s footsteps, I always enjoyed knowing how things worked – so that’s why I chose Engineering. I used to work for StarFleet research and development but I left there a year before I joined the Academy.” John answered, he just hoped the Cadet wouldn’t ask about his time in R & D. By the end it was not a pleasant experience.
As John was explaining his family history a tall Marine entered much to John’s sursprise he then realised he was an Ops Officer. The marine turned to Cadet Black, John quickly realised he was Major Löhnen. As John reached out his hand to introduce himself, the Major did the same:
"Major Danny Löhnen, Ops Instructor. Pleased to meet you Commander.”
“Nice to meet you Major, I’m Commander John McFarland. You can call me John.” John smiled as he shook Danny’s hand, he had a firm handshake – that was always a good sign thought John. As they had finished with the introductions Cadet Cooper swaggered in, John almost laughed Cooper was never rushed and arrived exactly when he meant to. As he entered, Major Löhnen invited John to join himself and Cadet Black for a drink:
"Excellent work Cadet. Now let's have that drink I promised you. Care to join us Commander?"
Before John could answer Cadet Cooper introduced himself to Major Löhnen and Cadet Black and then turned to him smiling;
“Hello again sir I hope this mission goes more smoothly than my time on the station”
“Yes Cooper, let us hope.” John smiled, “It would be my pleasure to join you both for a drink, Major. Cooper you are coming too, you’ll just have to work at the same time!”
John picked up 5 padds with some Engineering scenarios and tests for Cadet Cooper to run and hypothesise how to avert the risks in the scenarios. Passing the padds to Cooper, “Some light reading for you Cooper.”

Harry had a short conversation with Dr. Simon Barnes in the holographic recreation of a garden café. After a short while Dr. Barnes called up the arch and changed the scenery to that of a sickbay he looked at Harry and said.
“Ok let’s see what you can do” Dr. Barnes handed Harry a PADD and said.
“I want you to check off all equipment and ensure that you send a report to base personnel requesting any missing items. Also you must sort out your department’s roster. And just so you know we are pulling out of space dock in 2 hours so you have to have the department fully ready by then. So …” Dr. Barnes hit a button on the computer and said. “…begin”
The computer chirped up and told Harry. =/\= 2 hours till departure =/\=
Harry looked at Dr. Barnes and raised his eyebrow in his best Vulcan impression and said. “A challenge…. Interesting” Harry smiled and said. “Two hours I should have this done and have time for a nap”
Harry put joking aside and saw a nurse and a few unopened medical delivery boxes in the middle of the sickbay, Harry looked at the PADD in his hand and saw it was all general medical supplies. Harry walked up to the holographic nurse and said. “Nurse can you check the hyposprays in box 2-Alpha”. The nurse started checking the box; Harry knelt down and opened the box that was supposed to have medical tricorders. When Harry looked in the box he sighed heavily the box was filled with regular tricorders.
Harry asked the nurse to check the rest of the boxes and bring any problems to him; Harry walked into the Doctors office and opened a comm channel to the starbase quartermaster. The image of a young lieutenant appeared on the screen. Harry started the conversation by saying.
“Hello this is Dr. Schmidt on the Hepta we just received your delivery of medical supplies we have a problem the medical tricorders the ones we received are in fact regular tricorders we leave starbase in two hours please have actual medical tricorders here before we leave thank you”.
Harry saw Dr. Barnes watching him from the doorway of the doctors office and Harry tried to shake of the nerves he was feeling.
Harry looked at Dr. Barnes and asked. “Any suggestions?”

Just as the commander had finished explaining why he had joined starfleet, Major Löhnen came walking through the double doors of engineering.
"Excellent work Cadet. Now let's have that drink I promised you. Care to join us Commander?"
Just as that was said, a seconed cadet entered and introduced himself, a Cadet Cooper. Picking up 5 padds commander McFarland said “It would be my pleasure to join you both for a drink, Major. Cooper you are coming too, you’ll just have to work at the same time!”.
Begining their journey, Sandy gave a little smirk to the commander, and then looked at cooper who looked a little dissapointed with it all, "I might join ya" Sandy said to him, he just smiled at her, almost as if to say your mad.
It was probly true, a chance to relax and she may have just given it up to a bit of 'light reading'. It wasnt her ideal idea of fun, but at least it was a start for getting some friends aboard the Hepta.

Cooper had just finished introducing himself to the people in engineering when Commander McFarland gave him 5 PADDS for ‘light reading’. Cooper read the title on the first PADD and held it up and said. “Light reading…. Emergency procedures for warp core breach you an I differ on the meaning of light reading sir” Cooper was sure he had a disappointed look on his face when Cadet Black turned to him and said. "I might join ya"
Cooper smiled at her and said. “You’re my new best friend what do you want Emergency procedures for warp core breach or emergency engineering procedures during tactical situations.”
Cooper looked at Cadet Black with a smile on his face waiting for her answer <Tag Cadet Black/All>
