Simon was almost ready for anything expect the order he heard come over the comm. system =/\= Doctor Barnes there's been a change in plan report to sick bay. I'm sending Admiral Hope to you scan her to confirm her Identity =/\= Simon looked at the rest of his staff ‘well at least I am not the only one who is surprised she made it to Admiral in one piece. Tapping his comm. badge Simon responded “Acknowledge, have her report to sickbay and I will see to confirming her identity.” Simon immediately brought up his medical notes on the then Commander Hope so that he could check.
Simon watched as Cadet Park brought in a quite well aged Romulan woman that looked much like what he imagined S’renna would look like after 55 years of service. "Hello doctor, it has been a long time. I wish we were meeting again under better circumstances, even though they are better than the last time we worked together." Simon looked at her and noted her rank on her collar.
"Commander K'ratak has orders for you," she smiled, "you and any cadet you have are to verify that I am indeed Admiral S'reena Hope. Or commander if you wish, as that is how you remember me." She nodded to Park. "Cadet Park has been so kind to show me the way back to sickbay, though please hurry. I am still not too keen on sickbays and I am anxious to see Admiral Drew." Simon now moved towards her “well I will see to my test as fast as they will allow” picking up a near by tricorder Simon began checking for the injuries he had noted down from the last medical he had preformed on her “well there are a lot more injuries here then the last time I checked you, but I am sure you can not tell me how you got so many” smiling Simon began scanning for a genetic match between the records and the woman in front of him.
Finally placing down his tricorder, Simon turned to look at the Admiral “Well Admiral Hope, I can confirm that you are who you say you are at least in name, I can not confirm about your rank but that in not what I was asked” picking up a padd he sent his results on to Commander K’ratak. Dropping his voice to a whisper and moving closer to Admiral Hope he asked her for some help “as I am no doubt you will be visiting Vice Admiral Drew in 10 seconds after I release you, if you get the time would you mind ordering him to sickbay, I have been trying to get him down for a check up as he was quite ill when we were about to leave the star base, as you would remember.” Simon held his smile know that the admiral might actually like to order drew around after she had seen that he was well.

Getting the message from the doctor that Admiral Hoped checked out, at least with him any way.
" Thats fine doctor but I want our science teams arrive at the same conclusion. As soon as they confirm I will arrange a meeting for the admiral. I glad to hear things are going well, doctor and that you have no new stab wounds"
Looking around the bridge, he knew in his heart it was just a question of time. Sooner of later all the test would confirm who she was. That still left the admiral ship out there and how to handle that with Q around. Looking back at the view screen and thinking to him self, sometimes you have to have faith.
Tapping his combadge "Cadet park report back to the bridge , Colonel Howd you are now responsable for the admiral. Please arrange a meeting for her after you are convinced that she is who she says she is. Remain close thought I want you to use your best discrestion but keep close"

=/\=Cadet park report back to the bridge.Colonel Howd you are now responsible for the admiral.
As cadet park heard his orders he thought about defying them instead he waited for Colonel Howd to arrived in sickbay before returning to the bridge. Going over to the Commander "Sir should i not be with admiral Hope i am in charge of security aboard ship not the Colonel, No offense intended sir. I am just trying to understand, If the admiral is a security rick as you think she may be why let the marine instructor and his cadet take over?
<Tag K'ratak>
After hearing his explanation Cadet park turned to the commander "Sir i saw when admiral drew came on the bridge he had no security with him i know he is starfleet brass and can order it, But is it wrong to strong arm him into having security?"
<Tag k'ratak>
After that Cadet park started running a standard set of scans both internal and external focusing on anything strange. Not finding anything strange. He looked at on the internal systems Weapons and Shields. Finding them at 100% he turned to the Commander once again. "Sir have you discussed the phaser enhancements i show you in the padd i gave you before."
<Tag K'ratak>
After all that finally the shift was over leaving the bridge Park decided to head to bed. Entering his quarters he looks at the padds spread across his desk. Always reading park picked up one Early federation history the title read scanning to see where he left off he put it down not what he wanted to read that today. Seeing one under his bunk park went over and picked it up I never put one there Park thought.
Only one person could have Q. Damn scanning the first few lines he realized it was something he always wanted to see a report that his father was alive. Putting the padd down. No that cant be right looking at the padd again it was showing a grid layout of the Hepta that park had called up weeks ago before arriving at the starbase. There that was weird thinking nothing else of it put Q playing tricks on him, But he will bring it to his instructor attain tomorrow.

" ... I want at least some chance to get us back, if you think this is the best chance then get working on it."
"Yes sir." Blakus took a step back as K'ratak finished addressing him, getting near-shouted at by a klingon was an intimidating experience. Blakus decided to take it upon himself to be more pro-active. Turning to Commander McFarland, "Sir, permission to leave?" he inquired, "I think I better act on the Commander's orders."
Before McFarland could reply, a glowing column of energy materialised at the middle of the bridge, it pulsated for a few seconds and then faded to produce a person. It was only then that Blakus realised he had witnessed a futuristic Starfleet transportation. It was the admiral from the Hanson-B, Blakus darted to the engineering console, "But the shields are up..." he muttered, confused. He watched as Cadet Park searched the Admiral for hidden devices and then took her to sickbay. This is getting weird... thought Blakus.
" Commander Mcfarland I want you and your cadet blocking all transport locks. I also want to know how Admiral Hope beamed through our shields so easy and a way to stop it"
Blakus thought that K'ratak's latest orders could prove to be difficult considering the future technology they were having to contend with. Nevertheless, he went to the engineering station and set parameters in place to block all incoming transporter locks. "Sir," Blakus turned around from the station and addressed K'ratak, "I have blocked incoming transports to the best of my ability, it's only a matter of time to see if the Hanson-B can find a way around my countermeasures."
<Tag: K'ratak>
Just then Admiral Drew arrived on the bridge. Blakus smiled inwardly, the fun just doesn't stop... he thought.

I think it definitely is still here because of Q. Maybe information gathering or," and Ainsleigh paused at B'reca's reading of a pure energy being, "a weapon.".
Glad that her fellow Cadet was taking her seriously, B'reca took a long look at the cat and nodded. She didn't find it hard to believe that the animal was a weapon - from the way it had been giving her dirty looks, she was prepared to believe that it had been sent to eat the entire crew in their sleep.
"You go on, I'll inform Penfold."
"OK. But hurry." B'reca began walking briskly in the direction of the bridge, but when she got to the Turbolift, she stopped. "Deck 12," she said in a clear, loud voice, prompting the 'lift to start moving downwards. There was somewhere she wanted to go before she headed to the bridge.
OOC: this will have happened before Admiral Hope beamed aboard and visited sickbay. Sorry to disrupt continuity.
"Dr Barnes?" she called as she entered sickbay. The smell of disenfectant was making her stomach roll, but the reason for her visit was far more important than personal comfort. The doctor appeared from one of the side rooms and she started towards him.
"I have reason to believe that the captain is expecting certain... security risks to become evident during the course of our time here." She was, of course, referring to the Admiral who had contacted them, and any member of her crew that would desire to beam over to the Hepta. It was obvious to her that, with no means of identifying who they were, the captain would want to take precautions.
"Use this however you see fit," B'reca told the doctor, handing him a small hypospray. "It contains the Nanites I programmed earlier - before all of this happened. They will transmit the position of their host to the security team's tricorders, acting as a tracking device."
OOC: I'm not going to tag Barnes. You can reply if you want to, or take it as read that this happened and that you injected Admiral Hope with the Nanites.
Not waiting for a response, B'reca turned and left Sickbay, heading back towards the Turbolift and up to the Bridge. From there, she watched the Captain's communications with the Admiral aboard the other ship - watched the Admiral beam right through their shield - and was glad that she'd taken the time to give Barnes the Nanites. Unlike her father, B'reca was suspicious by nature, and everything about this situation triggered her suspicion.

Occ before the arrival of the admiral Drew
Looking up at cadet Park " Cadet I understand your concerns and worries, believe me on that one. As you move through your career you are going to be responsible for the safety of command officer. This is no easy task because they will want to be in the thick of it, its not because they want to be heroes. They want to make decisions on first hand knowledge and don't want to wait for it to be reported. As I stated earlier I know that admiral drew will buck security and can do to his rank, thats why I wanted him tracked. If I didn't at least try to place security on him the admiral would wonder what I was planning. He knows no tactical officer in his or her right mind, it going to let him go any place with out knowing he's okay."
" As for the Marines I need them to track Admiral Hope and admiral drew, I need my tactical cadet on the bridge. Marines are great don't get me wrong but they don't take tactical stations, you are need here on the bridge in case something happens. We are dealing with Q and if I'm right something very nasty is going to happen. I need by best people on the there post, besides the marines have ways of protecting people when they don't know it. I can't afford to have your attention divided right now I need you full attention on tactical for what ever pops up."
Looking at the pad Cadet Park handed him " You up grades are sound and look like they will work get them to engineering and get them going on it. Cadet your doing a good job with the problems we face keep up the good work"
Looking around the bridge he saw the worried looks on everybody faces " Listen to me all of you, I know that for a first mission this is less then ideal. I have faith in all of you to come up with answers and ways to deal with our problems. You wouldn't be here if you couldn't and thats the Truth, I will do everything I can to get us home one way or another, just keep doing your jobs"
" The problems we face are not small, he have to figure a way home and up grade our systems stop any threat that shows up. I want you to focus on that and work with your department heads to make them happen. Your a good crew and nothing is being asked of you that you can't do. I know this in my heart and my soul, so lets get working before we are caught of guard again."
OCC Admiral Drew arrives on the bridge
He wasn't shocked to see the admiral arrive, and was happy to see marine guards near him. Looking at colonel Howd " Colonel there's a guest in sick bay she doesn't go any where with out you"
Looking at Admiral Drew " Sir shortly after we left space dock, Q appeared and sent us 55 yrs into the future. Since arriving we have been met by the U.S.S Hanson B, under the command of Admiral Hope. Who insist on meeting with you, she beamed through our shields and is now under escort in sick bay. I thought it best to confirm she was who she was claiming to be, I didn't' want to take any risk with the ship or crew until then."
Looking at the admiral and thinking how to phrase his next statement " Sir I will have her escorted to the captains ready room on your order. But I must insist while she's on my ship and where Q's concerned that she have a guard on her at all times." He left out the part that Admiral Hope out ranked him, thinking that was not needed right now.
" Q has something planned admiral, I have dealt with him before on this matter. He sent me and my crew into the future when I was with the Klingon defense force. The out come was not good but we got home. We last alot of our crew in the name of a test and thats what Q's calling this a test."

As Cadet Park turned to Cadet Blakus " Can you take this padd to Commander McFarland and have him start on these modifications per the xo's orders."
<Tag Blakus>
----A few hours later-----
As the power systems were being modified to accommodate the increase of power for the upgraded weapons systems the bridge heard the increase in a hum noticeable louder then before" wow park thought only in a few hours great.
Turning to the Captain and Commander "Sirs the weapons are upgraded to 175% above normal. Phasers stand at 215% and torpedo's are at 250%." looking over a few other screens Park continues " no noticeable drain to power systems at this time. I have programed a alert if power systems drop to below 75% of normal, Ofcourse not including the upgrades."
<Tag either CO/XO>
After the report the Cadet felt that this is what i am good at i should never give up on myself. As he stands at the tactical station knowing that he cant mess up Park wait for what comes next.

S'reena offered Barnes her sweetest smile. "I can't do that doctor," she told him, "Admiral Drew is a stubborn man and not even my current position will make him more amiable about going to sickbay for a check-up. He hated them when I was his second in command, and he won't have changed now. If you want him here, the only way to do it is to stun him to make him. And I honestly doubt he'll thank you for it."
She watched the cadet who had been hovering about her leave, only to be left waiting for a marine to show up. Barnes had got back to his own duties now that checking her had been completed, and she felt a bit left by herself now. Deciding she had waited long enough for Howd and Dawnthief to show up, she walked out of sickbay. The doctor had nearly forced a tracker device on her, consisting of nanites, but she had forcefully but politely refused. "I'll not be treated like a criminal," she had countered, and the doctor had backed down.
There was so much she needed to do, but she understood she wouldn't be allowed to see Drew just yet. To the Hepta crew, not much time had passed since their disappearance and S'reena knew quite well that there would be problems. Also from her side of the timeline, and she feared that she might be forced to end up destroying the Hepta.
Quietly, she walked out of sickbay and took the turbolift down to engineering. "Admiral on deck!" someone shouted, and she grimaced in annoyance.
"At ease," she ordered, then marched up to McFarland. "I want a report on all anomalies you encountered prior to your arrival here," she demanded, wanting nothing more than to get him out of her way. She had work to do, and she didn't want the chief engineer around. When the chief engineer and his cadet disappeared into the office, S'reena walked around the warpcore, accessed a console and deftly disabled the warpcore and embedded the activation code in a fractal encryption code of her own. It would take them quite some time now to be able to go anywhere.
(Blakus/McFarland)
Next, she needed to get away from engineering as soon as possible, before her guards would catch up with her. She had barely left engineering when a marine and his cadet showed up right in front of her. "I was just saying hello to Commander McFarland," she explained, though both marines didn't seem impressed. The Romulan sighed. "I take it the doctor hasn't reported to you on my true identity? I am Admiral S'reena Hope, Commanding officer of the USS Hanson-B, and I am here to help you."

"Sir, permission to leave?" Blakus inquired, "I think I better act on the Commander's orders."
Before John could respond to his cadet there was a glowing column of energy materialised at the middle of the bridge, it pulsated for a few seconds and then faded to produce a person, Admiral Hope. What the hell? John heard Blakus mutter about the shields being up, it must be some sort of new StarFleet beaming technology.
“Yes Cadet, act on the Commander’s orders. I’ll be in Engineering.” John strode for the turbolift door, although he had many questions for the Admiral. Commander K’ratak ordered her to Sickbay for confirmation of her identity.
John heard Commander K’ratak give an order as John left the Bridge for Engineering. " Commander Mcfarland I want you and your cadet blocking all transport locks. I also want to know how Admiral Hope beamed through our shields so easy and a way to stop it"
“I’ll work on it from Engineering Commander, although I wouldn’t hold out much hope of stopping it sir.” John replied as he entered the turbo lift. As John entered the turbolift Admiral Drew stepped out, John gave a sly nod to his superior he didn’t have time for pleasantries and nor did Drew.
As John arrived in Main Engineering he entered his Office and slouched in his chair, this was one hell of a mess. He tapped into his console to review his progress on stopping their transport tapping into the shields to no avail. He had even assigned officers from the Science Department to assist but all that brainpower and nothing! John began to run his usual engine diagnostics if he was going to go to Commander K’ratak empty handed, he wanted to offer his superior some sort of tangible alternative, with the engines at optimal efficiency at least they had the chance of escaping the other ship.
Cadet Blakus joined John in Main Engineering, “How is the slingshot theory coming along?”
(Blakus)
As Blakus finished, John heard the cry: “Admiral on deck!”
John winced, what was Admiral Drew doing in Engineering and as he turned he was presented with Admiral Hope. John had worked with S’Reena previously and she proved to be a very astute officer back then.
"At ease," S’Reena nodded
John smiled as the future Admiral approached. "I want a report on all anomalies you encountered prior to your arrival here,"
“As charming as ever I see.” John smiled, “I’ll run the calculations and get back to you.” John answered heading for his Office with Blakus in tow. John did not think anything of S’Reena’s appearance in Engineering when he worked with her previously she often moved her way about between departments.
Turning to Blakus, John slanted his head; “Anomalies? I wonder what she is after?”

Sitting on the bridge he got the message from Doctor Barnes that Admiral Hope left sick bay. She was with out escort and he wasn't sure where she was at. Looking back at admiral Drew he could tell he was not pleased.
Just then he got a message from Colonel Howd he had caught up to the admiral, before he could tell him where he found here the whole bridge went crazy alarms going off on sensors. Looking down on his read outs things had gone from just bad to worse. " Dam that Q he said to himself." Just then there was a head sitting on top of his console it was Q.
" Oh come now bone head, you didn't think I was going to make that easy for you." Looking down at the head of Q " You know something Q you look good that way, but I think you would look better hanging on my wall in my quarters"
Q looked up at him " Well you can put a star fleet uniform on a Klingon but you can't change his nature can you. Be careful Commander you might find your self back on that leash, I seem to recall you didn't like it last time" Just like that Q was gone.
Looking at the sensor reading it was confirmed 6 ships Species 8472, this was not good. Hitting the ships intercom. " All hands battle stations" Looking back at Cadet Park "Bring everything we have on line and get a weapons lock"
The Captain didn't look well " Sir there still about a hour away from us, Why don't you go to sick bay and have the Doc check you out. I'll call you if anything happens"
OCC the captain will join us when he can
Things were not going well something Q had said stuck in his mind, he had a way of giving hints with out being open about. Think to himself again the Klingon comment, the last time he was here it played a role on how they acted.
Touching his com badge again " Commander Ford get your science cadets and your self to the bridge on the double. There is something I want you team to do and I hope and pray you can pull it off"
Looking at the admiral he remembered that Admiral Hope was on board " Sir can I have a world with you in private"
They headed for the captains ready room looking back at cadet Park " If there is any change I want to know I should only be a few Min's"
They entered that Captains ready room he wasn't comfortable with the way things are going.
He remained standing so the admiral could take the captains seat behind the desk. " Sir I don't know what Q has planned. Last time it cost the Empire alot of lives, but I think I might be able to learn from that. My main concern is for your safety Admiral hope is under escort, I'm not keen on the idea of her meeting you yet. I know that is a fight I'm not going to win along with having security assigned to you. So I'm will to make a deal with you of sorts, regulations state I can assign security to you even with out your permission if I can prove a threat. Which is the case right now but I don't want to fight with you, so I purpose that if you are willing to carry two weapons on you one for every one to see and one hidden on your persons. Then I will not force security on you, I'm not going to back down from this issue. I'm hoping that you will at least meet me half way and agree to one or the other."
" My next concern is Species 8472 they are a advance race, I don't think its in our best interest to get involved with them right now. We are 55yrs out of date and I have no way of knowing if the Hanson will come to our aid or if they can take on 6 ships. I would suggest we remove our selves from this area. You are the ranking officer for the moment the captains in sick bay. If I know Q he had something to do with it, I will follow your orders but I strongly suggest with cadets aboard and where we are now we leave." <Tag Drew>

Blakus took the padd Park had given him to engineering, he skipped through it as he walked, more modifications... Blakus wasn't sure it was such a good idea implementing all these changes with little or no testing. Time would tell if they were effective. Blakus sensed very imminent danger.
Entering engineering he stumbled into McFarland's office, mentally exhausted. McFarland was sitting at his work desk “How is the slingshot theory coming along?” he asked Blakus as he entered.
"Slingshot theory.. right, I'm afraid I haven't had much of a chance to look at it so far sir." Blakus' answer was kind of pithy as he himself knew. Noticing his instructor's bemused reaction Blakus apologised, "Sorry sir, things have been happening so quickly I've been having difficulty keeping up. Oh, Cadet Park has given me this padd," Blakus handed the padd to him, "The XO wants Park's upgrades implemented incase we run into trouble," he explained.
“Admiral on deck!” Blakus and McFarland turned to the office door to see Admiral Hope. Without any kind of greeting she strided up to McFarland, who had now stood, "I want a report on all anomalies you encountered prior to your arrival here,"
She then walked off again, barely paying attention to McFarland's reply. Blakus watched her closely from the office until McFarland leant to him, “Anomalies? I wonder what she is after?”
Blakus shook his head, "I don't know, but I don't trust her," he said as Hope disappeared from view. He didn't like this, Blakus didn't know the Romulan and was surprised at his own suspicion. "I recommend Commander that we keep a close eye on her, I've locked transporters out so she can't escape, she'll likely overcome that though. What are your ideas on locking out incoming transports sir?"
<Tag: McFarland>
A few minutes later...
" All hands battle stations" It was Commander K'ratak on the ship's intercom. Blakus and McFarland rushed to their stations in main engineering. Blakus did a quick external sensor scan and couldn't believe what the sensors were telling him. According to the sensor logs and live sensor feed six Species 8472 ships had appeared out of nowhere. Q's doing, Blakus deduced. "They're still an hour away, we've got time," Blakus informed McFarland. "Unless Q wants to hurry them up a little bit..."

B'reca had moved to a nearby science console to see if she could locate the energy being in the ship, so she was still on the bridge when she heard this order. "Commander K'ratak, sir? Cadet McLeod may not make it to the bridge with the rest of the Cadets. We've found a potential threat and she went to discuss it with Commander Penfold. Q seems to have left behind a large mass of energy disguised in the form of a Terran housecat. We are unsure whether it is dangerous, but it may require further investigation."

"All hands battle stations" Looking back at Cadet Park "Bring everything we have on line and get a weapons lock"
Great Species 8472 Bio-ships six of them. brining the enhanced weapons on line and running a sensor sweep. Thank god that was the only ones. as the captain went to sickbay the Commander entered the ready room . Accessing the ships starfleet records Cadet park calls up the logs for the Starship Voyager.
Looking for the logs of then Lt.Commander tuvok Park found the entry's he was looking for regarding bio-ships. taking a padd he had next to him he copied the data from the archives.
Tapping his combadge =/\= Park to Commander Mcfarland. Sir i have some ideas to fight the Bio-ships there from the logs of the USS Voyager. "we need the help of the science department. we need Nantes in the torpedoes."

Cadet McLeod found herself working with Commander Penfold on the energy being that Q had left behind in the form of a black cat. Occasionally Ainsleigh found herself staring at the science officer. He was almost as round as he was tall. The cryptobiologist in her was fascinated.
She'd come from a homogeneous society and new to Starfleet. The variety of species she'd encountered since her arrival had been educational.
The call to battle stations had come with the sound of klaxon's. She had been ordered to the bridge. Penfold huffed and told her to go. At a run the young officer headed towards the bridge.
As the doors swished open, controlled chaos presented itself. Heading directly to the science station, "What's happening?" she asked of Keran.
No sooner had the question gone out then reports of six new ships came in. As quickly as they were identified, Ainsleigh pulled up all relevant information on the species.
Species 8472's anatomy is unique in that they possess three five-jointed, even-toed ungulate feet. They have cross shaped pupils, and communicate exclusively through telepathy. They have a tall, thin, skeletal body that possess very little soft-tissue, and appendages appear to be supported by sinuous strands of muscle. Their outward appearance is marked mainly by bony crests located on their chest and disproportionately large heads. They have as many as five genders, each of which apparently occupies a different region of Fluidic Space. Species 8472 can also survive the unprotected rigors of normal space, and appears not to need to breathe atmosphere, or even the organic fluid present in its own realm.
Species 8472 also emits a biogenic field around their bodies which interferes with normal transporters and renders it partially invisible to sensors. ~Nasty creatures~ McLeod thought to herself.
Species 8472 uses a type of organic spacecraft known only as a bioship, controlled by a single pilot. Because bioships are made of the same organic material as their pilots, it is possible that they control the ships telepathically, although Species 8472 have been witnessed operating a console to pilot the bioship. Each bioship possesses an electrodynamic fluid circulatory system presumably for the distribution of power, a neurological computer core and an incredibly powerful biogenic energy weapon system; it is warp capable, can melt through various surfaces and is also capable of rapidly regenerating damaged systems. The vessel can function effectively in both normal space and Fluidic space. The weapons of nine bioships can be linked with that of a larger tenth bioship of modified design; the collective weapon thus formed can destroy an entire planet in seconds.
As quickly as Ainsleigh pulled up the files from the mainframe on the technology, she sent it to engineering and tactical.
Turning to Keran, "Your nanites might be the only thing that will stop these creatures."

Quinn had been kept busy since they had been sent into the future, yet another first for his race in terms of official records, though with his races abhorrance to any sort of time travel, it was likely that there was some unofficial research into it.
He and Howd had been up and down the ship many times and finally ended up catching up with Admiral Hope just outside engineering.
"I was just saying hello to Commander McFarland," The Admiral explained. "I take it the doctor hasn't reported to you on my true identity? I am Admiral S'reena Hope, Commanding officer of the USS Hanson-B, and I am here to help you." Quinn had been warned about how hard it was to keep track of the Admiral, and wasnt about to let her get away, from the look on Howds face, he wasnt going to either.
Before they had travelled far to their destination though, the intercom came on.
"All hands battle stations" Quinn looked at Howd for instructions.

"What's happening?"
"Sensors have detected six ships belonging to a race called... species 8472," B'reca informed McLeod. She'd only heard of this race in passing reference to the experiences of the Starfleet ship Voyager, which had been stranded in the Delta Quadrant and come across many new races there. As far as she remembered, species 8472 had been powerful enough for the Borg to consider them a threat.
She listened as McLeod explained the physiology of these aliens and their technological advancements. It all sounded very interesting from a scientific point of view, but it wasn't until McLeod concluded with "Your nanites might be the only thing that will stop these creatures." that B'reca really put what she was saying together.
"You believe that we stand no chance against these aliens with our normal weapons?" she asked. "What of the future ship; perhaps by this time they have developed something... or maybe the Federation has formed a truce with species 8472? Our two species were once at war, you know."
<Tag McLeod>
"Putting that speculation aside for a moment, the Commander has a task for us," she told her fellow Cadet.

=^= Commander Ford get your science cadets and your self to the bridge on the double. There is something I want you team to do and I hope and pray you can pull it off. =^=
William tapped his badge. "We'll be there shortly, sir." He tapped his badge twice more. "Penfold, I'm sure you got the message. I'll be-"
=^=We've got a problem, William. Cadet McLeod is with me in the lab. There is a feline in our lab which possess unnatural characteristics. McLeod has informed me that she and Keran found it in a turbolift - isn't that right? - yes, a turbolift. They believe Q left it, and I can't think of any other reason why something like this would have shown up. =^=
The chief science officer frowned. "That doesn't make any sense to me, Penfold, but I'll inform the Admirals and the Captain about it. If you can spare her, send McLeod up here. Ford out."
William was the last to arrive on the Bridge. He glanced at the science station, where both his cadets were gathered, and then back at the ready room. The absence of any command officer on the Bridge, especially considering the plethora of command-rank officers on the ship, was unusual. In fact, there were precious few officers at all on the Bridge at the moment. Most of the room's occupants were cadets. A slight shiver ran up William's spine while he reflected on the vulnerability of the Hepta. Ford sat down in the first officer's seat, as his station was occupied, and waited for Commander K'ratak to return.

"Bring everything we have on line and get a weapons lock"
"Yes sir." As Cadet park activated weapons and Shields he heard the commander suggest the captain goes to sickbay. "Sir." Park says just as the commander gets ready to go into the ready room "weapons and Shields online we can't get a weapons lock for 30 minuets." Cadet park sees Commander ford sit in the command area .
With the absence of the CO and the XO Cadet park turned to Commander Ford "Sir i have the enhanced weapons online phasers stand at 215% and that photons stand at 250%. I have informed engineering about the way the USS Voyager fought Species 8472 in the delta quadrant with nanites.
As the cadet works with engineering to get the nanite photons online. Right now with just improved photons Park felt they wouldn't get more then two or three shots if they came right at them.
As the he scans the Bio-ships Park sees a small chance to get a better shot . If we attack from the behind. Park thought. Since Commander k'ratak wasn't on the bridge Park turns and looks down at Commander ford. "Sir if we jump to warp 2 out to Pluto and then whip around the planet then return and drop outta warp just inside weapon range."
<Tag Ford>
Park lookes over a few screens and realizes Shields haven't been improved tapping the power macro he preprogrammed. Shields jumped to 300% above normal. The good thing about the power increase is no drain to the warp drive or power systems. Telling the Commander that Shields and weapons were ready for there little jump Commander K'ratak exited the ready room.
"Sir i have been disusing a plan of attack for the Bio-Ship." quickly informing the Commander he was waiting to see what the Commander was going to say.
<Tag K'ratak>
With the dissuasion made they all set to work.

"Of course" Howd muttered. They had finally caught up with Admiral Hope, and now they were requested to the bridge.
Howd turned to tell the Admiral to follow them, but she was gone. The marines saw only the ending of a shimmer of light, which was quickly overcome by the red lighting of the alert.
"Did you see where she went?"
Dawnthief shook his head no.
"I think she beamed somewhere again We better get to the bridge and report"
This was not looking good for Howd and his Cadet. First, Admiral Drew made his way unescorted to the bridge, then Admiral Hope wandered the ship, doing who knows what. Then, she disappears only a couple of minutes after they found her.
"This does not seem right at all. Tuck those wings, and get moving!" Howd unintentionally yelled at his Cadet. The emotion was due to his frustration, and not due to any lack of of qualities on the Cadet's part.
Howd's only hope, as they entered the bridge, was that something hadn't taken Admiral Hope.. that her disappearance was a planned occurrence. They could sort out the 'why' later.
He let Cadet Dawnthief explain what happened to Commander K'ratak, when it was quite clear to the Commander as they arrived that Admiral Hope was not with them.

Exiting the Captains ready to give the admiral a few mins to think things over. He saw Commander Ford in his chair. He smiled he was happy that someone decided to cover for him and would remember that in the future.
He also saw Cadet Park walking over to him to talk about idea's on how to stop the threat. He listened to his plan and told him it was good. " Cadet Park your plan is sound but we are 55yrs into the future so there's a chance it might not work. This does not mean I dont want you to try but" Speaking up to make sure Commander Ford heard him
" I'll want the science department on this as well. Carry on cadet " Turning to face Commander for " I admire the cadets actions but I fear it might not work, I need to things from you Commander. I know I"m about to ask the impossible but I think your team can pull it off. I need a way to talk to Speices 8472, not to mention a fall back plan in case it goes wrong. I dont want to hurt them if possible, maybe just a way to make them think we are not worth the trouble. "
Looking up to see colonel Howd walking onto the bridge, he notice admiral Hope was not with them. He waited for either colonel howd to report or his cadet, neither seemed to be very forth coming with a report and this worried him a great deal.

“Thank you Commander for your honesty,” Drew said after K’ratak had finished what had seemed like a carefully planned speech, “I have no objections to meeting your security requirements, infact, you might say I am already one step ahead of you.”
By way of explanation, Drew unzipped his top jacket to revel a small pocket phaser attached to the inside, “I never go anywhere unarmed.”
K’ratak smiled, and then handed a full size phaser to Drew, which the Admiral promptly attached to his belt.
“I believe you are right to be suspect of Admiral Hope,” Drew said, walking around the desk, “her priority will be to protect the timeline, which is indeed the correct thing to do. Unfortunately that does mean that we cannot trust her, the crew should not, and must not, confuse her with the S’reena Hope that they know. Fifty-five years is a very long time, people change, I would therefore suggest that she be denied access to all sensitive areas, including both the bridge and engineering.”
“I would also suggest that you cease any and all of scanning of the so called Hanson-B, and reduce the profile on the viewscreen, the less opportunity for our people to learn details of the future the better.”
By now Drew was standing at one of the viewports that showed space. Looking out at the stars, Drew wondered how much had changed in the last fifty five years, if indeed this was the future, what would become of them? The longer they spent here the less likely that they would be able to return to their own time, the temporal prime directive was most clear, they could not contaminate the timeline.
“Would you be so good as to give me a few moments please Commander?” Drew asked, turning back round to face the First Officer.
“Of course sir,” K’ratak replied, “I will be on the bridge.”
Alone in the ready room, Drew began to pace backwards and forwards. The threat of Species 8472 had a new aspect to this mission, as K’ratak had rightly pointed out they were in no position to engage them. However, leaving this area would further expose them to this timeline, making it even more difficult to return to their own time. There was also the matter of what support could be expected from the Hanson, would they even let the Hepta leave the area.
Still, as K’ratak had said, consideration had to be given to the crew of the Hepta. It would not be fair to put the cadets in such a dangerous situation as facing Species 8472, although it could also be argued that it was unfair to ask them to miss fifty five years from their lives.
With a deep sigh, Drew made his decision, straightening his jacket; he walked out onto the bridge.
“Commander K’ratak,” Drew ordered as he approached the command area, “we are in no position to engage Species 8472, prepare to leave the area at maximum warp.”

S'reena watched the cadet and the instructor confer together and decided they were taking far too long on deciding where to go or what to do with her. Making it appear like she transported away, the Romulan activated her personal cloaking device and listened with mild bemusement as the pair wondered where she'd gone, even as the Red Alert claxons started blaring.
She followed the two around for a while, then stepped into the turbolift with them when they went to the bridge. She kept out of the way of everyone because the last thing she wanted was for people to accidentally run in to her, especially because she was invisible. S'reena did find it funny that nobody seemed to even suggest that internal scanners might be able to pick her up. That she was invisible to the eye, didn't necesarily mean she was invisible to sensors. They just needed to get onto 'the right frequency'.
The Romulan saw K'ratak visibly react to her absence, realising he had expected her to be with Howd and Dawnthief. Then, she spotted who she had been looking for all along. There he was, coming from the readyroom, looking exactly like he had when she'd last seen him on the Hanson. She held her breath as she observed him for several long minutes. Then she couldn't take it anymore and deactivated the cloaking field.
She heard the gasps of surprise when she appeared, as though she had just beamed in. S'reena stayed frozen in place, gazing directly at Drew, her expression a mix of joy and relief.

“Commander K’ratak,” Drew ordered as he approached the command area, “we are in no position to engage Species 8472, prepare to leave the area at maximum warp.”
As Cadet Park was relived to here this he was also relived that alot of his ideas were being approved by the command staff. As he saw the Marine instructor and cadet enter the bridge without admiral hope. Park was concerned he had left sickbay when they had arrived so he thought they were with her.
As the Helm officer try to engage the warp engine's there is a alarm the warp engines are offline. Admiral Hope park thought at once. " security alert" Park called over the comm "All security teams find and apprehend the admiral." "Sir permission to lead one of the security teams." Park looks at the Commander and admiral.
<Tag Drew/K'ratak>
Just as Cadet park was about to leave the bridge Admiral hope just appeared outta nowhere. Grabing a phaser from the engineering console and pointed at the Admiral. "Sir stay were you are. As park looked at admiral hope with contempt he had to admire her cunning to sneak onto the bridge.
"Security to the bridge." As the turbolift opens and two guards exited standing next to the admiral with phasers pointed right at her. " I will take her to the brig, Sir" Park says to admiral drew.

"On the contrary," S'reena replied, "I'm remaining right where I am until I've spoken with Admiral Drew." She shrugged the two security officers off. "It is vital I speak with him." She shot Löhnen a glare of her own. "In private," she added, then nodded towards the cadet. "The cadet may hold watch at the door if he so wishes."
This time, she looked directly at Park. "And contrary to what you might assume, I prefer to be addressed as either ma'am or Admiral Hope. The only person entitled to address me as anything he wishes, is Admiral Drew." She glared at the cadet. "Is that understood, Cadet Park? Now, I believe Admiral Drew has given orders to leave the system. And call back your officers mr Park, I do not take kindly to being touched."

"Is that understood, Cadet Park? Now, I believe Admiral Drew has given orders to leave the system. And call back your officers Mr Park, I do not take kindly to being touched."
"Yes ma'am, Gentleman let her go." As the guards move away but not off the bridge altogether they do however lower there phasers. As Cadet Park wait to see what will happen he fells something isn't right. aren't those Bio-Ships suppose to be here by now.
looking at the sensors he sees they are still there coming. Yet not close enough to get a weapons lock. Yet thinking about it ~Are you sure the Bio-ships are why you think something is wrong~ Park thought as he Starts looking into the logs for anything that looks odd.
As Cadet park looks over some old logs he runs across a quick report that doctor Barnes was stabbed by then Commander Hope an a away mission. Turning to Admiral Hope "Ma'am since you were unaccompanied to the bridge by your escort. I must search you again for security reasons, For your safety as well as the crews. As cadet park comes over to her the Security team that was just off to the side moved forward.
As he started the search he looked for a small device not really sure what he was looking for but he would know it if he saw it. Working on her arm he found a bracelet looking device. Looking at it he addressed the admiral " Ma'am can you remove this and tell us what it is?"
