Hector didn't believe that the page would accept his offer, but he was pleasantly surprised when he did. That didn't mean that Hector would trust him. It would take months for Hector to trust Jon, but that didn't matter really.
"What exactly do I have to do to gain this clan's trust?" He says anxious to get started.
"Young Page you will never gain our trust, we trust no one hear except our clan, and right now your not in our clan," Hector said as he waited for the page to leave the tent. Once he left Hector motioned for one of the guards to come to his side.
"I want you to follow him with ten people," Hector said.
"Ten, Hector, he's only a little boy," Jacob said.
"Yes ten, if he gets away I'll know who to blame," Hector said.
"Now princess, as you saw I hope that Jon comes to our crusade against your father, he might not and just be trying to take you back, but that doesn't matter," Hector said.
"Why doesn't it matter?" the princess said.
"Because we're going to give you to your father anyways, but he has to pay for what he does to our people," Hector said as he tied the up the Princess once more.

He didn't expect any other response than what he got. He smiles, and wonders what he should do.
"Well then, sir, what is it you want me to do?" He says without missing a beat. He doesn't have much training, and wonders what they might have him do with his time. He also feels that if they are calling the shots, then maybe they might feel a little more relaxed with him, although he expects them to have him followed. It is what he would do.
<Hector>
Having gotten his orders, he rushes off so as not to disappoint his new bosses. He isn't surprised at all when he hears someone following him. He wonders if it is the village idiot he is hearing. Using his pendant, he tells his dragon friend not to worry, and to hold off on any attempts to rescue them.

"You didn't expect me to always stay with the king did you, princess?" Jon said.
He is not a page, he is a mercenary, Katie thought as she watched in disbelief the events that were unfolding before her. Katie couldn't figure out what game Jon was playing, but it seemed that the man would jump ship to what ever side appeared to have the advantage.
After what seemed to be a very long conversation Katie noticed Hector turned his attention back to her.
Katie watched the two men leave the tent. Once they were out of site she began to struggle to free herself. She quickly found out like the night before it was useless. All she could do now was wait to see what Hector and the Badland Clan had for her and her father.

Hector still couldn't believe how naive the princess was. She thougth that the page wouldn't think of himself first before that of the Royal court.
Hector quickly made his way towards his father's tent to inform him of the recent events.
"Father the page has joined our ranks, but we are tailing him as I speak," Hector said knowing that it was a big risk to let him out, but their was nothing he could really do. "He may be playing us father."
<Tag Erik>
After the meeting with his father, Hector decided to blow off some steam. He couldn't understand why he was so mad. Maybe it was the anxciety of the up coming battle. There was just no way around it. King Vlade would give them the money, but he would try to take it back too. That would be deadly for both sides. Hector knew that many of his friends and people would die, for a stupid princess.
Hector quickly walked into the princess's tent and asked her in anger.
"Do you know how many people are going to die because of you?

Having been ignored at the time, Jon decides to disappear for awhile. He heads toward the makeshift stables to tend to the horses. He doesn't have much training, but he has some. He notices a lot of horses, and smiles knowing this will take awhile.
Jon, I am ready to rescue you and the princess at a moments notice. Do you have a plan? Jon hears inside his head, and realizes he doesn't have one yet.
Sorry, my friend, but I don't have one yet. Give me a few minutes. He thinks. He sighs near a red horse.
"If only I wasn't just a page." He says, and hangs his head.
"How can I help you, young lady." She hears, and looks around to see who just talked to her. However it was knew her secret, and she wasn't sure she liked that, as they could tell on her. She looks around, seeing only horses, and wonders what is going on.
"Who said that?" She says very curious.
"I did, and I would appreciate it if you would stop looking around. I am right here beside you." The red horse says. She realizes she can talk to the horse, and understand what it is saying. She takes a deep breath, and then an idea hits her.
"Who is the lead horse here?" She says thinking that she already knows that answer, but would rather ask.
"It is the black stallion over there. They have yet to break him, and he has the most spirit. We all watch her with awe." She says, and Jon thanks her heading for the stallion with a plan becoming so much more real.
"Excuse me, ma'am, I need to talk to you." She says, and notices the black looks her over before laughing.
"Now, why should I listen to you?" She says not taking her eyes off Jon.
"I may be able to free you, but I need a favor in return." He says, and the horse looks at her intently.
"Alright, you have my attention." She says, and Jon explains his plan, remembering to include her dragon friend in this, to which the horse agrees to immediately.
An hour later, the ground starts to shake through camp. The whole group of their horses parades through camp destroying everything within sight. Meanwhile, Jon goes and gets the princess out. He meets some resistance, but in all he gets her to come with him. The dragon appears, and both ride off.

"Do you know how many people are going to die because of you?"
"As many as it takes to kill all of you!" Katie shouted from her uncomfortable position on the cot.
Hector looked down and smiled at her display of defiance.
"You never stop do you?" Hector said.
Katie watched as Hector moved closer to her and sat down on the cot. He leaned down getting close to Katie's face. He pulled her head back when he got to close.
"It's me." Pakiea whispered.
Katie instantly relaxed and began to smile as Paikea's normally smiling face began to shine through the long facial hair the computer had given him.
"Um..." Katie said quietly bitting her bottom lip.
Katie watched as Paikea's face changed from Hector back to his normal soft face, with his sharp green eyes and jet black hair. Katie began to melt at the sight of his face.
She closed her eyes and felt her lips meet his and the days worries began to fade away as they continued to kiss.
"Hmmm,"
Paikea pulled back to look at her.
"Whats wrong?"
"This." Katie said rolling onto her stomach.
Paikea slapped his forehead, "Of course, computer remove ropes."
"Much better." Katie said wrapping her arms around Paikea's neck.

Paikea hadn't kissed Katie in what felt were days. Probably it was a couple of days. They had been in the holodeck for a really long time. Paikea couldn't really complain, he liked the postion he was in. Katie's lips were as soft as they were since the first day his lips touched hers.
Katie felt Paikea wrap his arms around her body and pull her in close as he moved to a more comfortable position.
As Paikea and Katie kissed, it occured to him that a character could just walk in on them, or worse Dan.
"Should we be doing this?" Paikea asked still kissing Katie.
"Yes. Yes we should." She replied not thinking about any possible consequences.
Paikea didn't need to be told twice. They kept up the kissing, and only stopped to breath. I guess we both needed this Paikea thought. As Paikea continued to kiss Katie, he moved his hands over her beautiful brown hair. For some reason, that made Katie stop.
"Whats wrong?" Paikea asked.
Katie looked up at Paikea, he wanted to know what was wrong but there wasn't anything wrong. She felt comfortable and it felt right. She had thought of a more romantic setting to be kissing him like this for the first time, but in the dirty, mudd and smelly clothes it was just perfect.
"Everything is fine." She said smiling.
Paikea kissed Katie again and realized what might of caused her to stop there session. He could clearly smell the odor of the cot and of their bodies. He couldnt' help but kiss Katie. he didn't mean to, but he bit on Katie's lips. At that second he thought that Katie would get angry at him, but she just laughed and continued kissing Paikea.
"Your a biter huh," Katie said smiling.
Playing along Katie gently placed her teeth on Paikea's bottom lip and tugged it as far as it could go. She giggled as she watched his bottom lip snap back into place as she let it go.
"Hey I did it on accident," Paikea said smiing back. He just couldn't get enough of the person in front of him. She was like a drug to him that he would never get enough of.
Katie was having too much fun that she didn't notice the man standing in the enternece to the tent. He had a mean look on his face as he watched the two interacting.
Paikea quickly noticed this fact and turned around. "Hector what are you doing with that thing?" the enraged guard asked.
"Computer freeze character in this tent." Paikea gave Katie a smile as he got up.
"Computer erase this character's memory of what he was doing in the last ten minutes,"
"Acknowledged." the computer chimed.
"You what are you doing here?" Hector asked the soldier.
"I don't know sir," the confused man said as he left the tent. Paikea turned to Katie and gave her a quick kiss and became Hector again.
"You owe me more of those." Katie said with a wink and a smile.
"I know," Paikea whispered back and then headed out the tent.
Off: This was a jp between Katie and myself. We did this because this thing was taking a visicous turn.

It was time. All of the warriors were prepared and were having the last few minutes with there families. Hector didn't have any family, so he just went to his tent. As always his tent was scarse and empty, but thats the way Hector liked it.
Hector sat down and pulled out his father's key. It had always made him think of his real father. He didn't remember him, but Erik had told him everything about him. He had been a great general who never did anything without thinking of the consequences on his people. He had loved his people and would do anything for them. It turned out that, that was his downfall.
His second-in-command General Vlade and the people of the Litya Village wanted more power and they aimed to do that by kililng him. General Vlade promised his former home, riches and glory. With that in mind Vlade and the Litya knights secretaly killed off Hector the first. Luckly for him, Erik found out the plan, and was able to save his mother and himself. On the exodus from the castle, his mother was shot down by an arrow and died alone.
It had always made him tear up. His mother had died trying to save her only son. That made him hate Vlade even more and everything that he stood for. Hector could see Vlade in the Princess, but he could also see that she was a innocent victim of history.
"Hector are you ready?" Erik said as he entered the tent.
"I am, but is everyone else?" Hector asked.

Cyle had heard of a program that had interested him, and here he was looking at the holodeck where the program was being run. He looked over the list of acceptable characters he could play, and came across a rogue, human or course. He didnt need to modify any of the looks or anything, it was pretty close to himself, clean shaven, short hair.
He walked into the program, only to find himself being tackled by some kind of fighter, obviously not a knight, for he wore little army.
" you little rat!" He called out, as he wrestled with Cyle, who seemed to slip out of his hands. " You'll pay for stealing food from Erick" "Geroff me!" Cyle yelled back, his face pressed in the dirt. The fighter brought a fist up and clubbed Cyle across the face, knocking him out.
He groaned as he rubbed his head. " Wow, that actually hurts" he said then stood up, quickly acting as if nothing had happened to him. ' that was close, sign of weakness is one thing i shouldnt have shown"
Cyle went to the side of the cage, to see if he could figure a way out, but to his dismay, he could not

Erik walked through the camp, armor clinking as he went. He was dressed in a full suit of black armor, and a long broadsword hung at his waist. A blood-red camp hung from his shoulders.
"Hector are you ready?" Erik said as he entered the tent.
"I am, but is everyone else?" Hector asked.
"They are. The men are assembled at the west of the camp. I was waiting for you before moving out, as this fight is for you," he said. "Come," he said, and beckoned Hector to follow.
As they moved through the camp, Jason whispered to him. "Don't worry, Cadet. I've made some adjustments to this program. Any players in this cannot be hurt, but the holograms can. Takes away some of the realism, but I'll probably be dismissed from my position if any of you were injured."
He again assumed the role of Erik, and mounted his horse. Before him was a multitude of men, some on horseback, some on foot. All were armed, and ready to give their lives, if necessary. Erik rode to the front and turned to face them.
"My brothers!" he boomed over the crowd. "Long years ago, our rightful King was murdered, by power-hungry and evil men, betrayed by my own second-in-command. His son," he gestured to Hector, who was on horseback beside him, "and successor, was forced to go into hiding. But this day, all will be made right! Our King will once again sit on the throne! The battle will be hard, the castle fortified. But we will not turn away from the fight! You have all taken an oath, to help return the crown to the head of its rightful owner."
As he said this, the younger warriors stood proud, ready for the battle ahead. "I call upon you now, to fulfill those oaths to Lord and Land! This night will see the dawn of the reign of King Hector the Second! To Battle!"
With that, a great cry rose up. Erik swung his horse around, and the great host of men began their march towards the castle, and the coming battle.

Cyle had finally figured out how to get out of the cage, he had been looking for a lock, but instead he need to look for a lever, which he found and promptly opened the cage.
The door squeaked as he opened it, but he figured no one was left after he heard the entire earth shake and rattle under his feet. He walked around the camp for awhile, "Great, I'm all alone" Cyle kept walking until he heard the muffled cries of a D.I.D (damsel in distress)
"Great, I'm not all alone" Cyle went over to see who it was, and found a rather cute girl( Katie) and smiled to himself.
"Computer, is she a character created by this program?"
"Negative, Cadet Katie Anderson"
"Yeah, didn't think so. Names Cyle don't bother saying thanks, i don't care, its a program" Cyle said as he untied her, then left the tent, unsure and uncaring as to whether she followed <Katie> "Wait, Cyle" She called out as she ran out of the tent. Cyle rolled his eyes and turned to face her "What?"

"Uh," Katie managed to say as Cyle walked away.
Katie was unsure what she should do, but it was clear to her she was free and this mysterious man was here only hope of escape back to the castle.
"Wait, Cyle" She called out as she ran out of the tent. Cyle rolled his eyes and turned to face her "What?"
"Thanks for you help." She said with a smile trying to smooth the man's rough exterior.
"I beg you please to take me back to my father's castle in the western lands. The army of the bad lands is marching on my fathers castle right now. Will you take me there as quick and safe as you can, my brave and noble man?"

Cyle looked at Katie for a moment, then nodded. Fine, I'll take ya. Just don't talk, please Cyle left the campground without being noticed, and the two turned towards the castle, following the horse prints.
"Do you know where you are going?" Cyle heard Katie ask
" do i really need to answer that? You wanted to go back to your castle, the men that left the here recently, are going to your castle, I'm following them

"I don't think that is such a good idea. Since I'm now missing the clan is probably going to be looking for me. They wont get their ransom from my father unless that have me. I think we should stay off the main road."
"didn't i tell you not to talk? your gonna make me loss my mind
Katie didn't reply, she was absolutely shocked at the attitude of her hero. Who is this guy? She thought to herself. She continued to follow behind Cyle. She wanted to take the path through the forest but she was afraid to get yelled at again by the clearly grumpy paladin.
After minutes of walking Katie heard the sound of horses coming up from behind them.
"Cyle, we need to off the road!"
Katie ran and hid behind a large fallen tree and noticed Cyle was nowhere near her. She was not worried about him at the moment, staying out of the hands of Badlands Clan was her main focus.
<Cyle> sry Katie, just playing my char is all i don't mean any of what i may say, I'm really a nice guy, once you get to know me Off: I find that hard to believe.

Cyle was not int the modd to argue, ' there is only like 20 guys that would be coming after you anyway' he thought to himself, rolling his eyes in annoyance.
"Cyle, we need to off the road!"
cyle turned around to look at her, then noticed a dust cloud, getting rather larger as time went by. " well, why didnt ya say so?!"]/color]
Cyle jumped to the side, and then noticed that the girl had ran over to a log, 'why is it always a log?' he asked himself as he layed himself flat.
After a few moments of laying still, cyle looked up, to see the horseman close by, appearently looking for one of them.

Hector felt a deep love for his adoptive father at that moment. He had never told anyone his birthright, but now everyone knew. Hopefully they would treat him the same and happily enough it turned out that way. Hector quickly went behind the army, he wanted everyone to know that he would be there for them in this battle. This battle would be won by the rightoues and not by the evil of greed.
As he passed the end of the Army one of his long-time friends, Zachary yelled.
"All Hail King Hector the Second" A second later the entire second battalion responded with the same message. The next second the entire army did the same. Hector gave Zach a cold stare, but all he his friend did was shrug and laugh.
"You shouldn't of done that Zach," Hector said laughing.
"Why not?" Zach said.
"Because I'm not King yet," Hector said as he gallaoped towards the front with his father.
"It was Zach wasn't it?" Erik said.
"Yes father, how did you know?" Hector asked.
"I just know these things," Erik said. The road to the castle would take a couple of more hours, but they still marched on.

Katie looked around to try and find Cyle, but she couldn't spot him. She wondered where he could have gone. He probably kept walking down the path, she thought.
After several minutes of hiding she heard the foot steps of a lone horse walking around on the other side of the path. Kate couldn't tell what the man on the horse was doing and she didn't dare to peak up over the log to find out.
Curiosity got the best of her and she started to peer over the top of the log. She had almost cleared the top of the log when she strong hands grab her by the shoulders and pull her back down. She began to let out a gasp but it was quickly silenced by a powerful hand over her mouth.
"Shh." She heard Cyle whisper.
Katie nodded and waited for Cyle to let her know when it was clear to move on.

Cyle had managed to crawl his way towards the log that Katie was hiding under, close to where the horsman was.
He was right behind Katie, and could have sworn she knew he was there. He watched as she started to lift herself up, to get a look at the horseman, and Cyle grabbed her and brought her back down, placing a hand over her mouth
"SSsh
Cyle realised her and waited for a few moment more, then stood up, slowly. The horseman had left, and Cyle was now ready to get going again. He started walking towards the Caslte once more

Cyle mimicked Katie in his head, moving his mouth in annoyance
"Fine, we'll go through the stupid forest, but I'm still following this road"
Cyle moved to the edge of the forest and kept walking, following the winding road to the castle.
Within a few hours of walking, the castle came into view, a small fire burning from somewhere near the castle. 'either the battle is over, or it hasn't started yet' Cyle thought to himself.
Looking back, Cyle saw Katie struggling a moment, trying to keep her footing on the ground as he saw she was visibly tired. "Stay here and rest, I'll be right back
<Katie>
Cyle left and strolled into the campsite, hiding near the tents easily, being a thief it was what he did. He kept walking and headed towards the big tent, obviously where some kind of war meeting was taking place. Cyle crept up beside it and completely unnoticed, listened in on the conversation that took place

"Stay here and rest, I'll be right back." Cyle said.
Katie watched as Cyle took off deeper in the forest alone. She looked around in all directions to make sure nobody was around before she made herself comfortable.
Katie took off her boot to message her ankle. It was still stiff from when she jumped off the ledge trying to evade the highway man that put her into this mess. Sounds seem to come from all directions in the forest, Katie looked around trying to see where the sounds were coming from, and what was making them. She wished Cyle would come back soon.

As they neared the castle, Erik pulled the army off the path, into a clearing about 1/4 of a mile away from the castle. It was a spacious grassy area conveniently shielded from view of the castle by trees.
After their long day's march, the army was greatly to rest in the clearing, and a tent was erected for a purpose of a meeting.
As Erik, Hector, and the Captains gathered in the tent, the scout party was brought in to report.
"Alec, what news of their defenses?" he asked when he entered the tent.
A map of the castle and its grounds was spread on the ground. "There are about a hundred men, spread around the front of the castle, and there a sentries placed at each of these towers," he said, pointing to the towers at the corners of the castle. "There are archers along the embattlement, two every ten paces or so. It is well guarded."
Erik turned to Hector. "Well, my boy, this is your day. How do you suggest we proceed?"

Off: Sorry I have neglected this thread, I really like it, but I have been busy on other things.
Hector was not expecting this from his father, he was their leader not Hector. Hector turned to him, but he just told him to do what his heart told him.
"We know that we don't have the art of surprise, but that doens't mean we can't use the princess as bait," Hector said realizing that they really didn't have the princess anymore. It had been reported to them that she had somehow escaped. Hector knew that it wouldn't make a difference, the battle for Meridian would be decided today.
"We have the best archers in the west land, so we are going to use them on the west side of the castle," Hector said pointing at the exact spot with his finger.
"Yes Hector," the archery captian said.
"We also need to take the sentries out before we meet the knights," Hector said knowing that it was going to be easier said than done. They did have a few mages, but Hector knew none of them were strong enough to take the towers down. They would still have to try.
"The mages will have to try and take out the sentries," Hector said as he pointed to the two closes towers, they would do the worst damage.
"Yes Hector," Alec said.
"Now I want the rest of us to attack the knights after the first volley of attack begins," Hector started," May the Gods favor the bold."
