It was time to head to the holodeck and they followed lieutenant Williamson. She didn’t tell a word about the kind of program they will use except for a “good luck”. This was certainly intriguing. The holodeck doors opened on an airlock. Lieutenant Williamson headed to take an EV suit. Charlotte exchanged looks with Paul and Isis then took a suit and get dressed. With caution she followed Katrina. Her magnetic boots stuck to the hull, the heavy walk reminding her of Vulcan, but she felt also the floating from the absence of gravity.
The voice of the young Andorian came out Charlotte’s speakers.
“ Not until now.” She replied. “What kind of football ? Soccer ? Must be hard to do a volley in zero-G. I sometimes slept in zero-G when I was off Earth. It’s not evident at first but really relaxing for the vertebras. However the awakening was a bit harsh.”
<tag Isis>
“By the way how did you manage to break the holodeck 36 ?”
<tag Isis>
The holodeck was replicating the exterior of the starbase. Charlotte was wondering if they will see some huge ship passing over their head. She tried to keep the lieutenant’s track.

Kat was intrigued by the idea, and chuckled, then she heard Boissey say she slept in zero-g.
"Well, I have heard of zero-g football, never played it though. Let's see if everyone is okay first in the zero-g here, then maybe we can get a game going. Oh and don't worry, this is my program, it won't over load the matrix. I ran this program several times down on Earth, and many more too. I have yet to find a problem in the running of a program. Now there have been a few flaws with the program, but that was my fault," she said reassuring Isis.
"I don't think I could get comfortable enough to sleep in zero-g. I have never tried it though, so I don't know for certain," she said not sure what else to say to that.
"I want to show you all something, follow me," she said remembering what was going to happen in space not too far from the base. She loved to watch space anamolies, and was glad she remembered this one was in the program. Kat worked her way toward the top of the base.

"Well the one im talking about is sorta a mix of "Soccer" and "Rugby" and you jump around trying to put a ball into a goal."
“By the way how did you manage to break the holodeck 36 ?”
"Well...... You know the old earth computors that had silicon chips in them? Well I based my program on a game designed for one. They had faults on their machines and when they tried to use it the computors broke. I acidently dintent take those bugs out, and when i was on Q'uonos testing it (my father was at a ddiplomatic meeting) I knocked out three districts worth of power stations. Ive ironed out most of them but when I got to where my ship gets disabeled, the holodeck sorta exploded, which is why i am having a replacemennt eye"

“What kind of game are we going to play ? Hide-and-seek ?” She chuckled.
Isis told them how she had managed to break the holodeck and to loose her eye. “I see” was the only answer Charlotte could make at this moment. She went round the subject. “So your father was an ambassador ? or a Starfleet officer ?” she asked.
Lieutenant Williamson had to show them something. They passed over some fictional senior officer’s quarters; they could see the living room through the windows behind their feet. They came near the top of the base now and could see the shuttles landing pads first, then the sensor array. It was quite a long walk.

They finally arrived, and Kat was glad. She looked up and noticed they arrived just in time, the show was about to start.
Suddenly the holodeck shut down, and they were back in a room of grids. She looked around not sure what was going on. I think we better find out what is going on here.

The hologram program ended just when they arrived to where the lieutenant had led them. Gravity was back to normal and Charlotte felt a little awkward in her EV suit into the grey yellow-striped room. She disengaged her magnetic boots which kept sticking to the floor. The program was not resuming so she removed her helmet, her short brown hair now untidy.
“It seems that holodecks are allergic to you Isis.” She winked to her fellow cadet and walked to the console, unfastening her collar in the meantime. She removed also her right glove and tried the console commands but they remained unlighted.
“Computer report?” No response. “It seems the power supply is down, I can’t access to any command. Paul, will you check the doors ? I hope we can at least get out of here.”
<Tag Paul>
She stepped back to get free of the EV suit.
“That’s a shame we don’t have any fellow engineer in the team. Unless it’s your area lieutenant…” That was actually a question to Katrina. Charlotte now wearing her uniform only came close to the command panel again. She crouched down and removed the maintenance plate under the console.
“If we except a coincidence, you may not be the cause of the holodeck 36 crash Isis. I doubt there’s any connection between the two matrices. Actually I don’t have any idea of what’s going on. Anyone else ?”
