Cyle stood up from his session with the counselor, hoping against all odds she didnt see him fit for this experiment, but knowing Zhuk he had already talked to her and explained to her part of his situation. He left the counselor's office, then walked towards sickbay. Although Daren had said that he didnt need a physical, Cyle had received a message or two to come down. Upon entering sickbay, Cyle was ushered over to Nathan, who was standing in his office with doctor Keller.
<tag Nathan>
Cyle sat down on a biobed as instructed, and then proceded to answer the questions he was asked. "have you experienced any recent injuries or illnesses?" Nathan asked, Cyle looked up at him, one eyebrow cocked. "shot twice he answered blankly, just trying to get this over with as quickly as he could. "are you allergic to anything? or do you have any sight or hearing problems?" Cyle shook his head instead of providing a direct 'yes' or 'no.'
<tag Nathan>
Cyle looked over at Daren momentarily, only to look back as Doctor van Breughel asked another needless question.
<tag Nathan>
"Yes, I have flown nurmorous shuttles and other space craft." Cyle sighed annoyingly and continued to answer questions, until Nathan was finished with him. Cyle then stood up and left sickbay, heading towards his room where he found the jumpsuit he was to wear. 'well, i guess that settles it then' he said finally giving up and trying to get out of the experiment. Dawning his flight suit, he left his quarters, and walked around the ship for awhile, until he was called back to teh shuttlebay where the fighters were.

Nathan watched Crusser leave and walk towards Raleva, while he waited for Daran to respond. However the CMO had a haunted expression on his face and hurried out of sickbay without uttering another word or looking back, leaving Nathan behind with a surprised look on his face.
At that precise moment, Cyle entered the office. Nathan invited him to take place on a biobed and started rapidfiring his questions at the senior marine.
Cyle shook his head instead of providing a direct 'yes' or 'no.'
"I'll need more than a nod or a shake of the head," Nathan chasticed him. "Do you have any allergies, or any ailments that might prove hazardous in this experiment?
Cyle looked over at Darn momentarily, only to look back as Doctor van Breughel asked another needless question.
Nathan hadn't noticed Daran coming back, but when he saw his boss, he chose to ignore him for now. He'd question Daran about his sudden flight from sickbay later. "Have you flown any craft before?" he asked, turning his attention back to Cyle.
"Yes, I have flown nurmorous shuttles and other space craft." Cyle sighed annoyingly and continued to answer questions, until Nathan was finished with him. Cyle then stood up and left sickbay.
Nathan sighed and moved to join Raleva, who was done with Crusser. "Is it just me, or are they all being a little recalcitrant lately? Any idea on what's going on with Daran? He looks horrible, and terribly absentminded. Earlier, he just ran out of sickbay without a word, to come back later without an explanation. It was that Cyle noticed him or I'd not have noticed Daran returning at all. I'm worried about him Raleva, have you spoken to him lately? I mean, since his ordeal on being drugged and turned into a tactical genius?"

"Starfleet sent me the mission information. They said that we were collecting information on the new starfighters."
Zhukarak was a little surprised that Starfleet felt it necessary to transmit such classified material to Chris, not that he wasn't authorized. The briefing could have been taken care of here on the Jefferson to minimize the possibilities of interception.
"Good. Then you know as little as the rest of us." Zhukarak mentioned with a smile on his face. "I am sorry, but I have already given out the assignments on who will be piloting the fighters. I still want you to go to sickbay and perform the physical and various phsych evaluations. You shall be on standby, for anyone who may not be able to continue these evaluations."
"Alright sir, I'll get right on it then." They shook hands once more and parted ways.
Zhukarak was back in shuttle bay three where he saw Cyle Johnson ready to go.
"Major, we shall go ahead and begin these trials. Commander Reynolds is momentarily indisposed with a conference link to S47 HQ, and the other two are taking a little bit longer with their evals in sickbay."
"Aye sir."
Zhuk noted the lack of enthusiasm in the Major's voice. "Where is that tough marine I ran into back on Conqueror? XF-1 is yours, I shall be leading in XF-5." The two of them seperated into opposite directions as the the fighters stood abreast of each other, with the two in question on opposite ends.
Zhukarak stepped into his fighter and got comfortable in the seat. Two touch pads activated the two engines as the fighter fired up. Another touch pad activated a pre-flight systems check. Green lights and indicators came on, letting Zhuk know that all was a go. One more touch pad activation and the integrated helmet, that was suspended just below the open canopy, came down over Zhuk's head and then sealed itself with the rest of his suit. The canopy closed during this same time.
Zhukarak was now looking through the visor of the helmet. It gave him certain critical readouts of his sytems. Engines, shield, and weapons were all optimal. Once he got permission from flight control, and got word from Cyle that he was ready, Zhuk throttled up and gently took the fighter towards the open bay doors, and then into open space. Looking at the radar display told him that Cyle was following on his right wing.
At this point Zhuk was still on manual control and not yet integrated with the fighter's AI. He wanted to take this time to get a feel for the ship and see what it could do. Zhuk liked the smooth and precise response he got whenever he made directional changes. The fighter did everything he had asked of it. Leveling back out for a normal flight path, Zhukarak was ready to activate the AI. He hoped Cyle was.

After leaving the shuttle bay Chris walked over to the turbo lift. He walked and asked to be sent to deck 2 where his room was. He got out and walked to room 6B. He opened the door, he set his bag down full of clothes and personal belongings. Chris pulled out his civilian clothes and a few extra spare uniforms and walked over to his closet and put them in there. His dress uniform was placed here as well. He then took out the picture of his family, his mom and dad, and of course a picture of his grandfather and grandmother. Chris set the pictures down on his desk. He turned off the lights and walked out of his room into the hallway.
Chris then walked back to the turbo lift and asked to be taking to deck 7. Chris walked out and into sickbay where he noticed a familar face of Daren Keller.
"Hello the Captain sent me here for a physical and various other tests."

Nathan frowned as he watched the special monitors come alive. Two monitors started displaying readings and as he stepped closer he noticed it were those connected to the fighters assigned to Cyle Johnson and Colonel Hrisvalar. He got distracted when another young officer walked in. "I'm in the office," he called, reacting to Pemberton's voice, "please settle yourself on a biobed, I'll be right with you."
He nudged Hannah. "Could you please make sure he's relaxed?"
The chief nurse nodded, flashed him a grin and walked up to Pemberton. "Why hello, I'm Nurse Hannah Lowell. Doctor van Breughel will be right with you. Ah, don't even try to pronounce his name, it's a real tongue twister. He'll respond to Doctor Nathan too if needed, though he does appreciate the attempt." She winked at him. "It's just a silly Dutch thing, creating unpronouncable names, trust me."
She gently pressed him back on the bed. "Just lie still and try to relax, he doesn't bite. He may flirt but he doesn't bite, trust me." With that, she left Chris to himself as she walked back to the office. "He'll be fine," she reported, then nodded towards the monitors. "I'll keep an eye on that. By the way, wheres Daran? I saw him leave but he never came back."
Nathan ignored her last question, nodded at the first one and walked out of the office, grabbing his tricorder on the way out. "Greetings, I am Doctor Nathan van Breughel. You must be Mr Chris Pemberton. Could you please tell me if you had any recent illnesses, or suffered from any allergic reactions?"

Dr. Nathan saw chris and asked him to go lay down on the one of the beds. So chris agreed and went and sat in one of the beds. Then one of the nurses came up and told him all this stuff, but chris just nodded. Then the doctor walked out with a tricorder in his hand.
"Greetings, I am Doctor Nathan van Breughel. You must be Mr Chris Pemberton. Could you please tell me if you had any recent illnesses, or suffered from any allergic reactions?"
Chris thought for a moment, "None over the past few years doctor. The last illness I had was a regular case of the flu a year ago."
Chris explained to the Doctor.

Matt was completely peeved about the conference link, which forced him to push back his XF-4 trials. When he accepted the job as commendations officer, he had not been informed about impromptu conference calls. Knowing that it was pointless to be mad, Matt made his way towards sickbay where the physical and physiological evaluation would take place.
"Doctor's sorry that I'm late," Matt said as he walked into sickbay and addressed both doctors.

ooc: Daran is no longer in sickbay...
Nathan nodded as Pemberton explained his recent medical status. "Very well, you are medically cleared for these trials. Please contact Counselor De Silva about an appointment to assess your psychological well being." With another nod, the gynaecologyst dismissed the lieutenant to his duties.
He had barely returned to his office to file his findings, when at last the first officer showed up. "You're late commander," Nathan scolded him, wondering why Daran hadn't yet returned to his duties. He was well overdue if he had taken any breaks, which he even failed to mention he was going to take, if any. "You were expected to report three hours ago. Medical check-ups take presedence over anything else, as you are well aware."
Nathan directed the wayward first officer to a biobed. "When was the last time you suffered from any form of disease? If it was so much as the sniffles, I want to know about it as it may impair your functioning as a fighter pilot."
Once he was done with Reynolds, he directed him back to the CMO's office and showed him Cyle and Zhuk's readings. "They are under enormous stress, though the colonel seems to be handling this himself quite amiably. When you see him, please inform both that I want them in sickbay for evaluation after their first flights. You're dismissed commander."

Cyle sighed as he waited for the pilots to arrive at their assigned fighters. He was alittle calmer at the fact that he and the colonel would be flying alone, together. Although Cyle had complete trust in the Colonel, he knew that he had his own limitations, and exceeded them was not a good thing.
Zhuk noted the lack of enthusiasm in the Major's voice. "Where is that tough marine I ran into back on Conqueror? XF-1 is yours, I shall be leading in XF-5." The two of them separated into opposite directions as the the fighters stood abreast of each other, with the two in question on opposite ends.'That's a good question' Cyle thought as an answer to the colonel's question. Sitting down in his seat, Cyle looked around the cockpit before bringing up a few screens. Cyle watched as the engines started up, then looked down at the engineer who was checking the outside of his fighter. "all good sir" he said as Cyle nodded. Looking at another touch pad, Cyle noticed the flight systems check, all green except one, shields were in-op.
Receiving a message from the ground crew, Cyle looked around for a way to talk to them. "OK, there we go. Can you hear me down there?" he asked, "yes sir, loud and clear. the shields are down, but as we aren't in an area where we will dealing with any enemies, it shouldn't matter, besides you can out fly them anyway" the engineer said, trying to flatter the Major.
"Roger, I'll fly without them for now, but we better get them fixed when i get back" Cyle continued with his checks, then allowed the helmet to come down and attach to his suit. As soon as he heard the seal let out, he started breathing heavy, sweat starting to form. 'i don't know if i can do this again. dammit, your a marine, this is nothing, you've been shot a dozen times and your still here, get over it' Cyle thought, calming himself down.
Communicating with flight control, Cyle received word they were good to go, then getting a message to Zhuk, they were under way. Throttling up, Cyle zipped out the shuttle bay past Zhuk, momentarily losing control. Regaining control of the fighter, Cyle made a mental note to have the controls checked out. "Cyle, are you alright?" he heard in his helmet, from Zhuk. "sorry colonel, the controls were alittle loose, thats all" he replied. "are you ready for the AI interface?" Zhuk asked, to which Cyle took a few moments to reply. "Just as long as you watch my back, i don't trust this thing" Cyle waited for a reply, then began the interface. First the fighter took control of the throttle, moving it on its own as Cyle thought of were he wanted it to go, with limitations of course. Cyle wanted the fighter to do a loop, and moments later, it did a loop, almost flawlessly. Cyle started thinking of the last time he was using AI, and failed to notice the fighter drifting towards Zhuk's fighter. Cyle quickly came back to the here and now, gasping as his fighter jumped away from Zhuk's XF-5. Cyle's heart rate and blood pressure started to climb quickly, as he breathing quickened. Cyle heard the beeping from the AI interface alerting him of what was happening, and he desperatly tried to pull off his helmet, to breath better. finally get the helmet off, he slowed his own breathing and closed his eyes, leaving the fighter in an auto-pilot function.
Cyle looked over as Zhuk's fighter flew in beside his, and the colonel looked over at him. Smiling weakly at his supiurior, Cyle wiped the sweat from his brow and slowly put the helmet back on. "lets head back Major"

"Thank you doctor."
Chris got off the bed and walked out of sickbay. Hen then walked to the turbo lift. He stepped in and said.
"Deck 2"
The turbo lift started. Chris thought to himself what he was getting himself back into. He was in starfleet now for over a year. He had been through so much his first award and promotion, he just now has to go with the flow and maybe soon he will be where he wants to be.
Chris got to his room he walked in and hit his comm badge.

"Are you ready for the AI interface?" Zhuk asked, to which Cyle took a few moments to reply. "Just as long as you watch my back, I don't trust this thing."
Zhuk silently agreed to the mistrust he too was having. There were too many unknowns about these fighters and it was up to them to make them known, but at what cost?
Zhukarak activated the AI of his fighter. At first it didn't appear as if anything had happened, but it soon became apparent to Zhuk that he was no longer flying with the stick in his hand. He had been thinking of where he wanted to go for the past ten seconds and the ship performed his requests flawlessly. He thought about giving Cyle some more space to maneuver. The AI instantly interpreted this by giving more speed and pulling off to the side. Zhuk looked over his shoulder and saw that Cyle had just completed a loop maneuver, and a few barrel rolls after wards.
Zhukarak had already performed various twists and turns, he wanted to see how other functions worked. Unlike Cyle's fighter, his shields were intact. ~Shields 100%.~ Sensors showed that shields had indeed increased to maximum output. ~Tactical display, vector sweep 45 degrees, heading 180, mark 0.~ Zhuk looked at his display as a sensor sweep was performed directly behind him with a limit of 45 degrees from side to side and top to bottom. He was enjoying this.
The smile on his face soon disappeared as a proximity alert sounded. Zhuk's display changed as he wanted to know ~Where?~ it was coming from. There it was, it was Cyle coming in from Starboard side, Mark 320. Zhuk throttled up and flipped his fighter slightly to the starboard side so he could see. By the time he had Cyle in visual everything was back to normal again. The alert tone turned off. Zhuk took this time to switch back to manual. A slight headache was coming on anyways.
Zhuk straightened out and performed a slow loop to allow Cyle to catch up. When Zhukarak came out of the loop he was able to bring his fighter in close next to Cyle's. He looked over at Cyle, but didn't ask his thought ~Are you okay?~. For a moment Zhuk could have sworn his XF-5...just did something, he just wasn't sure what. "Lets head back Major." Soon they were back on the landing deck of shuttle bay three.

The Caitian engineer emerged from his shuttle which would again disembark without him as soon as the bay was vacated. He raised his eyebrows, snapping to attention at the Andorian milling about the small craft and saluting. As soon as he was told to be at rest, he apologized for his lateness in arrival, citing a passage through a certain nebula that should not have appeared and furthermore reporting that such astronomical phenomena will not be reappearing.
This of course was Starfleet engineer's talk for having gotten lost.
He slowly stood, awaiting a tongue lashing from the Captain.

Cyle turned the AI interface off, and took hold of the throttle once again. Keeping in continuous contact with Zhuk, the pair guided their fighters back into the shuttle bay. Slowly lowering the fighter, Cyle waited until he was back on the "ground" of the shuttle bay, and then began shutting down the fighter. When the cockpit opened up, Cyle saw Nathan, Raleva, and the other pilots, as well as a new addition. Stepping out of the fighter, Cyle stood for a moment, catching his breath calmly, before he walked over to Nathan and Raleva, who started running tests almost immediatly.
"dont you think we should head to sickbay for these test?" Cyle asked, annoyed at the fact that all attention was on him. Looking over his shoulder as he walked out, Cyle saw the colonel talking to the new guy, a cat looking creature.

"They are under enormous stress, though the colonel seems to be handling this himself quite amiably. When you see him, please inform both that I want them in sickbay for evaluation after their first flights. You're dismissed commander."
Matt thanked the doctor and slowly walked out of sickbay. He was no doctor, but even he was able to interpret the readings. He was not afraid to pilot his XF-4, but the stress it caused on the body lingered in his mind. Resolved to do his duty, Matt made his way towards the shuttle bay where his fighter was waiting for him.
"Commander, your XF is waiting for you over there," the security guard pointed.
"Understood," Matt said as he took a deep breath and walked towards the fighter. Hesitation began to creep in, but he was able to suppress the feeling and got into the XF-4.
He could immediately tell the difference of these fighters. The configuration was nothing like he had seen before. The controls of his fighters were almost non-existent. For all his knowledge about flying, he was for the moment at a complete loss.
"Commander Reynolds, please take a seat and prepare to interface with the AI," the computer ordered.
"Who are you?" Matt asked clearly confused about the computers request.
"I am the AI interface system, please prepare to interface," the XF computer responded.
"Alright," Matt said as he took a seat in the pilot's chair. This somehow activated all the controls on the fighter.
"Interface will start in ten seconds," XF-4 computer stated which caused Matt to panic a little. He expected to begin this trial on his own terms and not on the XF-4.
"Alert....heart rate at unacceptable levels" XF-4 stated,"lower heart rate."
~Easy for you to say~ Matt said as he took another breath and waited for the AI to respond.
"Commander Matthew Reynolds, the XF-4 AI Computer system was created to help you learn this fighters systems and controls. Inquiries will be answered immediately via the nuerolink that has been implanted into your neural cord"
It took him a few seconds to process everything that had just been said to him. He didn't know anything about this nuerolink, but it seemed that it had already been done. As he thought this, his question was answered on the view screen in front of him.
~System check~
'Engines offline, shields offline, weapons offline, life support activated, AI interface working at normal parameters'
"Alright, this is spooky," Matt said as he read the screen which had changed to answer his question.
~Activate thrusters~
It ship's system fluttered for a moment before he heard the familiar sound of engines powering up. Without even realizing it, Matt's hands found the fighters controls and piloted the fighter out of the hanger.
~Locate XF-1 and XF-5~
"Starboard, Mark 230"
"I think I'm going to like this," Matt said as he headed towards his colleagues who he he hoped where having as great a time as he was.

Zhukarak climbed out of his fighter decending from the indented steps along the side. No sooner had he touched the ground when Theel'zhiin appeared out of thin air. Zhuk's firelizard crooed and nuzzled his neck as he sat perched on his shoulders. "Yes, I am delighted to see you as well." Zhuk gave him a good pat on the head.
The flightdeck engineers prepped the fighters to be parked in their berths. Cyle was already victim to the doctors who must have noticed the incident out there in space, for they could not wait to get to sickbay for their tests.
Mixed in with the crowd was a familiar figure. Familiar only in the fact that Zhuk had just spent some time in Tante Maria's Bakery on Starbase Bellicose before this mission had started. It was there where he had first set eyes on this white furred Caitian. He didn't know at the time that he would be coming here to the Jefferson.
As Zhukarak approached he could see the tail twitching with nervousness. The feline creature snapped to attention and reported to his CO and then started rambling off some excuse about his being late. "Stand at ease. Ensign T'Ress if I recall, correct?" The ensign affirmed his name while his gaze was locked onto Theel'zhiin, Zhuk's firelizard.
Zhuk stuck his hand out and received the paw he was given. "Good, it is time we have a chief engineer to keep us ship-shape. Welcome to the USS Jefferson. Have you met everyone yet?" Zhuk turned and indicated the three others standing behind him. "The one being probed is Major Johnson. The prbing is being done by our ship's counselor, Raleva De Silva, and our Chief Medical Officer, Nathan van Breughel."
As they shook hands and did their own brief introductions Zhuk couldn't help but wonder where the other three pilots had gone to, what was keeping them. Then he did notice that one of them was gone, it was XF-4, the one assigned to Commander Reynolds. The other two must be coming shortly Zhuk figured. A sharp pain then shot through his head. Zhuk had whinced a little, but didn't let on that it was happening. He saw Raleva look over in his direction, but his face was remained emotionless.

The minute his readings showed that the fighters had returned to home bay, Nathan sped out of sickbay and raced through the corridors towards the hangar bay. He couldn't remember ever having run so fast, and he was completely out of breath when he reached the bay.
"Co-lo-nel," he panted, trying to catch his breath. "Sickbay..now!" And it wasn't a request at that.
Then he spotted a huge blur of white fur rushing past and he blinked. "Is that a cat or am I dreaming?" he wondered aloud, hearing Raleva chuckle beside him.
"That's a Caitian my dear Nathan," she chuckled as she patted his arm, then moved away to tend to her profiling.
"A Caitian," Nathan murmured, as he propelled the Andorian CO towards the door, not caring about the threats he muttered. "Doctor Keller is no longer aboard," he notified his CO, "I have received a message from starfleet while you were galavanting out there. Doctor Keller has been recalled to earth, immediately. He left the Jefferson an hour ago, surely you saw the shuttlecraft depart? I am chief medical officer now, and unless you and your fellow fliers get to sickbay right now, I'm relieving all of you from your duties."
The human cast the Andorian an 'I dare you' look, before beckoning the huge feline. "You there, come along," he ordered, "new people are required to undergo their physical on arrival. You are...?"

The feline raised an eyebrow, purring softly. He walked into the turbolift adjacent to the shuttlebay, leaning himself into it.
Thus with a young he muttered, "Merrow, sickbay.." And was thus scuttled away. Exiting the doors he stepped out softly, padding gently down the lit hallway with a grace that came forth from his breathing. Eyeing the symbol of the Rod of Aspocleus, he walked into the orlops office, saluting.
"Acting Ensign J'Varr T'Ress, reporting for examination, sir!"

Sharps quarters
Sharp is getting ready for his test flight in the new fighters. He doesn't like the idea of being hooked up to an AI interface. Computers just don't seem to have the instincts humans do.
Sharp exits his quarters and heads to the turbo lift and enters. Deck 6. The lift stops on deck 6 and sharp exits to cargo bay 3 and does a preflight check on his fighter. After the preflight check he enters the fighter and fires it up. "bridge this is fighter x-2 permision to launch=^= =^= fighter x-2 permision granted=^=

Cyle sighed as he sat alone on a bio-bed, waiting for the doctor and counselor to do their nit picking. He kept going over what had happened while he was out there with Zhuk, remembering what went wrong and what didn't. Although flashes from the last AI interface with the stolen fighter kept creeping into his head, Cyle was able to keep a semi calm mind. When Nathan walked over, Cyle tensed up momentarily, waiting for some kind of repercussion or something. Instead the doctor just looked over his scans, and did a diagnostic or some kind.
<tag Nathan>
"thank you doctor" Cyle said, whether it was to answer a question, or just for no reason, Cyle wasn't sure. He watched as the new chief engineer was being given a physical, although Cyle was unsure what kind of species it was, he did catch his name, J'Varr T'Ress. "ensign, my fighter's shield weren't working, fix it" Cyle said gruffly, as was his nature. Raleva shot him a look as she walked over to do her own tests, clearly unhappy with him for various reasons.

Chris walked out of the counslers office, he noticed that there was a commotion infront of the main shuttlebay doors. He walked there and went inside of the main shuttle bay. There was Zhuk and the new fighters. He walked over to Zhuk.
"Sir, all my examinations are done. What are my orders now."

The Caitian raised an eyebrow, "Sir, if you would describe the problem with a bit more detail, I would be most appreciative. Is there a failure in the complete? Will it refuse to engage? Set down at times?"
He purred gently, nodding as he exited the biobed to walk over to the one who addressed him so gruffly. "I do not believe we have met. I am J'Varr T'Ress. Tis a pleasure, merrrow."

Matt had become so enthralled with his XF that he didn't care that Colonel Hrisvalar and Major Johnson had returned to the Jefferson. Matt on the other hand was more than happy to test the maneuvering capabilities of the fighter.
~Turn 320 degrees~
~Make a 360 degree flip and then come to a complete stop~
As he thought this, Matt's XF fighter did this a second later. The reaction time was the fastest he had ever experienced. It was almost simultaneous.
-----------------------------------------------
The recommendation had been to spend a maximum of forty five minutes in the XF for the first trial. Matt had totally ignored this recommendation and flew for almost two hours. It was only due to the persistent hailing from the Jefferson that Matt returned to the hanger deck.
"Commander Reynolds, did you not hear our hails?" a nurse asked.
"Yes, I heard all of your annoying hails, I was trying to ignore them," Matt replied," I assume that I need to report to sickbay?"
"Yes sir," the nurse replied as he finished his initial scans.

The introductions had been done when all Zhukarak heard was "Sickbay..now!" Coming from Doctor van Breughel. It was then when he mentioned Daran’s departure. “…while you were galavanting out there. Doctor Keller has been recalled to earth, immediately. He left the Jefferson an hour ago; surely you saw the shuttlecraft depart? I am chief medical officer now, and unless you and your fellow fliers get to sickbay right now, I'm relieving all of you from your duties."
Zhuk could feel it coming from the depths of his gut. It had been the forceful tone and then the grabbing of his arm that insisted that Zhuk get to sickbay. Zhuk’s response was one that no one saw coming. It was within a blink of an eye where Zhuk grabbed the doctor by his wrist and forcefully twisted it backwards, just at the edge of slight discomfort. “I understand your need to complete your scans, but I assure you when I say that if you continue to be as forceful as you are, I shall not only find a replacement for Doctor Keller, but for you as well.” Nathan could do nothing but wince as he nodded in agreement.
By now Zhuk had already let go of Nathan’s wrist which was gently being favored by the good doctor. They began their journey to sickbay when Chris arrived for new instructions. Chris walked out of the counselor’s office. He noticed that there was a commotion in front of the main shuttle bay doors. He walked there and went inside of the main shuttle bay. There was Zhuk and the new fighters. He walked over to Zhuk.
"Sir, all my examinations are done. What are my orders now?"
Zhukarak was still a little annoyed when he simple blurted out. “Go find something to fly.” The old-new navigations officer was left standing in wonderment as Zhuk headed for sickbay with the doctor in tow.

Aside from his adventure in the future, Nathan didn't think he'd ever been so scared in his life before. He had been perfectly within his rights to order his CO to sickbay, and try to direct him when there was no response. However he'd never seen the Andorian move so fast before; he had no chance to react.
Before he knew it, a blue hand flashed forward and took tight hold on his left wrist, twisting it backwards to the point of discomfort. He winced and nodded as he heard Hrisvalar whisper his threat to him, then just as sudden the discomfort was gone.
Looking down in sheer embarassment, Nathan rubbed his sore wrist, nursing the slight injury. Yet the only actual injury was his pride as he was publicly dressed down just now. "Can we please go to sickbay now?" he demurred, preceding all concerned into the turbolift.
He nodded towards the new arrivals. "That includes you as well. No-one gets back into their fighters before debriefing. I want to know how you all felt and I want you to be aware of your readings during your first flight." When they all got to sickbay, he ushered the small party into his office, where he showed them the erratic readings. "Like I said, I don't like this all for one bit." ~and I am quite happy to stay well away from those fighters~ he thought privately.
This time, he glanced point blank at Raleva, who had joined them also. "Counselor, your evaluations please?"

"Did you see that, I've never seen anyone move so fast?" the flightdeck engineer tending to the XF-5 said.
"To be honest it kind of scared me," his counterpart replied.
"Who are you speaking of?" Matt asked curious about the conversation.
"Colonel Hrisvalar, he pratically attacked the doctor," the XF-5 engineer replied.
Everyone knew that at one point or another the feeling to hit the chief medical officer would arise, but no one acted on those feelings. Matt had wanted to hit a few of the Jefferson's medical officers over the years. Matt knew that the group would be in sickbay and that was where he headed, knowing full well that the tests would be in full swing.
"Counselor, your evaluations please?"
"Well, I haven't felt this good in months," Matt said as he walked into the conversation.
