(Commodore) Loskene was feeling much worse then he was a few hours ago. He could notice that he was breaking down. Within a day or two, death may even ensue, for he was vulnerable to the toxicity of Stellar space without his natural defenses. He could already see that he was beginning to revert back to his original form. His skin was losing it's slightly tan color and beginning to turn darker, almost dark purple. And not only that, his body was not healing properly. 8472's do not have bones, but his human form does, and he sensed the pain when he was injured. Loskene had one chance, but it was risky. He could attempt to inform his crew of his whereabouts, by sending a telepathic message. Loskene was adamant about using it however, because it could possibly drain him further, maybe even damage him beyond repair.
Rayna: I know you are in pain. Tell me what I need to know, and this will be over.
Loskene remained silent and she jabbed him with the agiel again. He opened his mouth a little bit. The Romulan looked at him with eagerness and anticipation.
Rayna: Yes? .....Yes??
Loskene quickly spat blood upon the floor. Rayna became dissapointed.
The commodore decided that it was now or nothing, he would use his telepathic skills to tell his crew what was happening. He closed his eyes and tried to focus his mind, which was especially difficult. He managed to gather all his strength, and his eyes began to glow purple. Rayna looked at him with confusion. Loskene gasped and dispatched his message. However, something appeared to go wrong. He couldn't precisely focus his message and instead of sending it to his crew, he accidentally sent it to some one closer.
Rayna suddenly began to wince and she grasped her head in pain.
It was now a more troubling situation then ever. Not only did Rayna know that Loskene was trying to send a message, but she could possibly know about the mission and Loskene's other thoughts and memories, past and present...

The Romulan commander fell to her knees, the red rod falling from her graps and rolling out of her reach. The pain passed quickly, and she scrambled back to her feet momentarily desoriented. She gazed at the now unconscious again starfleet officer with respect anew. ~the man is desperate!~ she realised, as she tried to sort the images she received. They were of various content, past missions, but in particular, the image of one Trill woman came by often. Rayna wondered who she was as she sifted through other information.
Then, a smile spread across her face as finally she got a bit of useful information: the Jeffernson shield harmonics frequency. She released the rope that held him up and gently eased him to the floor. "However that attempt has gone wrong, I thank you for the information I needed," she whispered, as she wiped his brown hair out of his face. He was starting to look odd to her, and now that she knew what species she was, she also knew that her own CMO would be unable to help them.
"Bridge, modulate our transporters to match the frequency of their shields using the frequency I just sent you," Rayna ordered, after entering the codes into a console, "access their computer, and find me their medic!" She looked back at her prisoner. "You haven't told me all I need to know yet, but I won't have you dying on me."
On the Jefferson, T'Val was still waiting for responses on her explanation of her status within the Romulan Empire. She started, when she felt a transporter beam take hold of her. She nearly lost her balance when she materialized on what looked to be the ship of their aggressor, and felt someone seize her by her arms. She shrugged them off. "You have just abducted a citizen of the Romulan Empire," she stated, hoping that she had indeed that status.
The guard shrugged. "You are to come with me, and you can either walk, or be dragged." He screeched when suddenly a blur of green appeared and started to attack him. He aimed his disruptor, aimed and pressed the trigger. The green creature dropped in the woman's hands with a surprised squawk. "Come with me," he said, gesturing with his weapon.
Soon, T'Val was led to the interrogation room, where she found a Romulan female leaning over an unconscious form. Involuntarily, she gasped when she realized who the form was. Again, she shrugged the guard off and ran over to them, pushing the woman aside. "Sir, are you all right?" she asked, gently probing him for injuries. He was fading quickly, and she hadn't much time.
She winced, as she felt something jab against her shoulder, and glared at the woman who was now holding a red rod. "If you beamed me here to save him, then let me do my job," she snapped, and quickly gave orders for medical instruments that she needed. Minutes later, she had Loskene somewhat patched up. "What is going on?" she asked, when he regained consciousness. Before he could answer, she was pulled away.
"Enough chit-chat," Rayna sneered, "you are going to tell me what I need to know now commodore, or I will not let this healer of yours do her work again...she saved you, but just this once. She'll watch helplessly next time." She turned to T'Val. "And your status means very little at this moment missy, whether you are married to a Romulan or not." She turned to Loskene. "So, what will it be?"
Though Rayna had stated that the Vulcan woman's status meant absolutely nothing, she knew the truth was very different. If something happened to her, it could cause a major diplomatic incident, Yet, it didn't withold Rayna from threatening her. Surprisingly, the woman held perfectly still as Rayna held the rod at her throat without touching the skin. In her hands, she still held the limp green creature that had come to her defense earlier - as the guard had reported.

Jalli-tol observed the general banter and realised they werent getting very far and with T Val now missing as well things seemed to be going from bad to worse. "I think I may have a resolution to our problems." she said at last. "You do" Matthews asked, "Well possibly. As we are aware we have two members here - loskene and Winters who think they can get aboard the Warbird. However they can't land on the hull to get in due to the polarisation. So what we need to do is depolarise their hull." "Surely they'd notice" Raiben pointed out, "If we did the whole hull then yes. But what if it was localised to the airlock only." "You can do that." "Maybe. A highly focused anti proton beam would do it, but we risk it being detected. But it could be all we have." Matthews mused a moment. "Can you two definitly rescue the Commodore?" "Yes" They replied in unison. "Okay your a go then. Jalli-tol prepare the beam. Loskene and Winters rescue the Commodore. We ll prep the ship for a swift escape. Okay people get to it."

Raiben raised from his seat and exited the briefing room. The bridge seemed a lot more silent then it used to be, so he didn't lost time there and walked straigth to the turbolift.
"Deck 8, armory" he called. The turbolift started its trip with its alltime humming soung.
"You did not need that beam; but he needs it. You know what you can do, do it. Save your senior and prove yourself worthy. Then they will obey your requests about fullfilling your fate" came the voice of Benjamin.
"I must wait a lot more longer than you can imagine. Great powers bring great responsibilities, Benjamin. I am responsible now for a lot of things. And i must wait some more time to find enough space to do those" Raiben replied.
The turbolift arrived at its destination and the doors opened with a slight hiss.
Raiben walked towards the armory, nodded the officer there and started dressing his combat jump suit and above that the EVA suit. He looked at the rifle racks. He picked up a compression rifle locked and loaded it and headed towards the turbolift again.
"Deck 12" he called. It is the only deck he can fullfill his plans. He was not going after that puny airlock.

Admiral Loskene was heading down to Raiben's quarters with the schematics of the Warbird. Jalli-Tol was still busy preparing the beam. The Admiral rang the chime......No answer came from the quarters. The Admiral tried again. He suddenly realized what was happening. He knew Raiben only too well. Raiben yet again was being led by his impulses, and not listening to reason.
Admiral Loskene: Computer, locate Lieutenant Winters.
Computer: Lieutenant Winters is in Airlock 4.
Admiral Loskene: Damn it Raiben! =^=Bridge this is Admiral Loskene. Raiben is attempting to leave the ship. Seal off the airlocks!=^=
Matthews: Ensign Wilson (NPC), seal off all airlocks!
Wilson: Sir, there is no one in the airlock.
Admiral Loskene: =^=It is logical to assume that Mr. Winters has already left, Mr. Matthews!=^=
Matthews: Get me Raiben!
Wilson: No good sir. He's not responding.
Admiral Loskene: Commander, let me handle Raiben. There is nothing you can do.
Matthews thought for a second.
Matthews: Very well, bring him back here on the double.
Admiral Loskene rushed to the airlock. When he got inside, he noticed that the airlock attendant was unconscious.
Admiral Loskene: Loskene to sickbay, a medic is needed in Airlock 4.
Admiral Loskene, avoiding the EV suits and all, accessed the airlock and jumped out. Like an experienced swimmer, Loskene floated out of the ship and noticed a humanoid in the distance. It was indeed Raiben, and he was using his thruster pack to get closer to the Romulan ship.
Loskene sighed and sent a telepathic message to Winters.
"And where do you think you're going, Lieutenant?"

Raiben didn't even bothered with the Admiral. He continued his way towards the Warbird. He now can clearly see the windows of the gaint Romulan vessel.
Raiben fired the booster of its thruster pack and lunged forwards towards the Warbird. He focused his mind over the hull of the Warbird.
Slowly its hull color started changing and with his crash upon the hull it bended inside and then collapsed under the stress.
Raiben then again with the movement of his arm forced the broken hull parts together. They merged and returned to their previous state in an instant.
He slowly removed his EVA suit and started concentrating on the sensors. He must have to maintain his concentration just to make sure they detect him as a Romulan. He came here to rescue the Commodore and the Doctor, not to kill an entire crew.
He drew out his rifle and walked straight to the detention block. He has studied the Romulan ship designs to the last screw while the mission was starting and there were a probably no changes in this ship.
"Two decks up, four corridors down, the second door from the right" he said to himself. "Atleast Romulans are a race that never loose their confident natures, thanks to the Vulcan mind"

TVal felt her little green stir in her hands and sent it a silent command for her to keep as still as possible. They didn't want to alert the Romulan commander. She knelt beside Commodore Loskene, and briefly touched his face. He was still alive, but if she didn't get him to a sickbay soon, he'd most likely die. It had been several hours since she'd been beamed over to see to Loskene's care.
~I have a way of alerting the admiral~ she thought, as she touched him ~they will come for us~ She looked at her green, who was peering at her questioningly. ~Yade, find the older Loskene and tell him where we are. Tell him the younger Loskene is dying. Go now and stay on the Jefferson. Do not come back~
With a chirp, the green sprang aloft and disappeared. Rayna saw the green disappear and jumped into action, jabbing her favourite weapon, the red rod, against the Vulcan's back. T'Val went down in agony, but didn't give so much as a moan. She'd accomplished what she needed to do.
On the Jefferson, Yade flew around in an attempt to find the older Loskene and finally she found him in the airlock. She chittered at him, sending the message T'Val had ordered her to send; sending images of the seriously injured Loskene. When she had done what she had been told to do, she disappeared again, only to re-appear in sickbay and settle herself there restlessly.

Raiben knelt down as the Romulan guards passed the corridors.
The captain of this vessel must be a smart Romulan he thought.
Just a few corridors left he told to himself and lunged forward as a cheetah in savannah lunged forward to catch its prey.
His heavy foot steps echoed in the corridors of the Warbird and son he saw the guards standing at the door of the detention cell.
One of the guards turned towards him and tried to raised his weapon to bear; but fell to the ground with the punch of Raiben. The other turned at the screams of his crewmate; but she joined him aswell.
Raiben took a look at the lock mechanism.
"Damn" he cried out. No chance to slice that lock for him.
Raiben's anger started to take over him. He started puncing the door and it started to bend inwards.
The Romulans inside was shocked with the knocing at the door. One grabbed T'Val and the other put his rifle at the head of Loskene.
The door blew inside and the room darkened. The only visible lights were two glowing red orbs.
"You made three mistakes" came a deamonic voice. "First you underestimated us, second you kidnapped my captain and third you forced me to come here"
"Who the hell are you?" asked Rayna pointing her distrupter towards the glows.
"Your worst nightmare" came the deamonic voices reply then the whole room fell prey to the pitch black darkness.
Sounds of heavy foot steps came and one of the Romulan guards fired his distrupter lighting the room and then he flew towards the wall a few meters behind him. The sound of his breaken bones could be herd.
The Romulans started firing here and there, screams of Romulans and something other filled the room and then in an instant all of the sounds died. Slowly the darkness gone aswell.
T'Val and half-councious Loskene spotted the Raiben, he was on his knees and was holding his chest. Blood came out of his mouth.
"Things not allways go as they are planned, ain't it doc?" he asked spitting the blood.
"Go, take the Commodore with you. The Admiral is coming here to help you. I will be a few steps behind you" then Raiben fell to the ground uncouncious.
"You failed us" herd Raiben the Benjamin's voice "You are not worthy now for our needs"
Two tear drops left Raiben's eyes and made their way to theground.

Admiral Loskene had entered the Romulan vessel. He was expecting nothing less then a full contingent of Romulan security....but he was wrong. Their was nothing in the corridor. It was dark. The lights flickered for an instant and Admiral Loskene saw what had happened, Winters had been there. Dead bodies were laying in the corridor, a trail of blood led the Admiral through the corridor... Eventually he reached the cell. Commodore Loskene was laying there, alone. On the ground was T'Val, tending to Raiben Winters.
Admiral Loskene: How are they doing, Doctor? Your green creature informed me of what was happening.
T'Val: Commodore Loskene is not doing well. I manged to remove the inhibitor from his body, but I'm not sure how extensive the damage is. I do not know what is wrong with Mr. Winters.
Admiral Loskene: It's another one of his episodes.
T'Val: It is logical to assume that you know what is happening to him.
Admiral Loskene: You could say that. But now is not the time nor the place to discuss these things. We must get out of here now.
T'Val: And how do you suppose we will escape?
Admiral Loskene: We can't go back the way we came. We only have one EV suit and that is Raiben's. I don't have an extra one to lend you. We will have to find another way out of here. I think I have an idea but it may take a moment.
T'Val looked over her shoulder and noticed that Rayna was starting to awaken from unconsciousness.
T'Val: We should take the woman with us as well...
Admiral Loskene: I have just communicated a message to Commander Matthews. I think he understands what I asked of him. Both ships are currently at full stop so it is a perfect opportunity.
T'Val: Exactly what are you proposing?
Admiral Loskene: I told Commander Matthews to boost shield strength. Once he does, he will extend the shields to cover a portion of the Romulan ship. The area that he will be covering will be near a Romulan airlock. He will then flood the area with atmosphere. If successful, I will be able to "smuggle" you, Raiben, Rayna and the Commodore back to the Jefferson.
T'Val: The plan sounds somewhat unrealistic.
Admiral Loskene: Nevertheless, there is no other way, and I'm almost certain that at this very moment a squad of Romulan security are on their way to this section of the ship. We must go now...

T'Val nodded that she somewhat understood the plan, though it was a mystery to her as to how they could get from the Romulan vessel to the Jefferson through an "umbilical cord" formed by the shields. One could hardly walk on something electric. Yet she trusted that the admiral would see to their safety. "There are only two of us, but there are three people to carry," she mentioned.
Then as if by sheer force of will, Raiben got to his feet. "Can you walk Mr Winters?" T'Val asked, and at his nod she walked over to Commodore Loskene. "Admiral, would you and Mr Winters please see the Romulan woman? I must keep monitoring the commodore and cannot do so if I am seeing to the woman. Loskene was barely conscious but he seemed adamant on walking by himself. Yet T'Val insisted that he use her for support. "You have been severely injured sir," she insisted, "I cannot allow you to completely walk on your own as I have not been able to assess the extend of your injuries. I have no doubt that some are internal, and I cannot be sure before we get back to sickbay."
<skipping a bit>
Once they were back aboard the Jefferson, T'Val had Loskene and herself beamed directly to sickbay. After a complete examination, she walked back to the commanding officer. "I am relieved to report that you look worse than the injuries imply," she said, "though I would suggest you see a counselor twice a week for a while, and come back to sickbay weekly for a check-up. I want you to sleep at least twenty hours and then you will be allowed back on duty."

Raiben was a exausted and was feeling a lot of pain inside his mind. He never felt like this before.
"Are you allright El-tee?" asked one of the security officers greeted them at the Jefferson.
"Nothing coming from a Romulan can stop me from going to the bridge" he replied and headed towards the turbolift.
With every deck he climbed towards the bridge, his feelings turned to thier normal status. Raiben felt puzzeled. Feelings and pains are not recorded to be healed with a short turbolift trip. He noted to talk about the doctor about this.
He entered the bridge and taked a look there.
In an instant Ensign chen left the Command seat and returned to the helm.
"Status report" he ordered. He was not the highest ranking officer there; but he was the only officer that is seasoned there. The only one who can take command other than him was Lt. Cmdr. Greg Hayes was busy with the operation console and probably he never will find enough time.
Reports flowed in from every department and Raiben taked a close look at the tactical display.
"Lt. T'Nar, do you have any readings that the Romulans spoted our escape?" he asked sitting at the Command seat. Then he wondered where their XO went.
"Negative, sir. Romulans are just sitting where they are" she replied back.
Raiben pressed the comm button at the armrest and opened a channel to the engineering.
=/\=Bridge to Lt. Schilling=/\= =/\=Schilling here=/\= =/\=How are the repairs going Lt.?=/\= =/\=We nearly finished with everthing, the rest of them needs a space dock=/\= =/\=Thats good news to hear Lt., bridge out=/\=
"What are we going to do now?" asked Ensign Wilson from the back of the tactical console.
"Its not up to me to decide Wilson, we will wait for the Commodore to arrive and take the situation at his own hands" Raiben replied back.
If he was the Co of this ship, that Warbird would have seen the hell the instant they have decloaked.
"Allright people untill Commodore arrives i want status reports every five minutes and Lt. T'Nar keep a close eye on those Romulan's. ý want to know everthing thats going on in that ship. I want you to report even if someone closes his quarters lights" Raiben ordered and started moving from one console to another.
He will not take any risks now. The Commodore will soon take the situation at his capable hands and this tension will soon be over.
But the thing keeping his mind busy was the disappearance of those painfull and exausting feelings in an instant.
OOC: Continued with the skip as we have the XO at LOA...

As Raiben oversee the bridge operations Commodore Loskene appeared at the bridge. Raiben risked to take a little off duty time. Security & Tactical chiefs were on duty all the time, that was the protocole and that was the way Raiben felt usefull. Raiben gived a nod to their beloved Commodore and entered the turbolift. "Sickbay" he called the turbolift computer. That awkward feeling returned for a moment and disapeared in an instant as the turbolift doors closed and the lift started to move. "This is the second time" he murmured to himself. Raiben was a man of practical logic. He keeps his practical part in front of the triger and kept the logic part to say a 'sorry' after he pulled it. And healing embodied turbolifts got no place in his logic. As the turbolift stoped Raiben stoped looking awkward towards the interior of the turbolift and headed towards the sickbay. Doctor T'Val was busy taking care of an engineers wounds as he entered. "Lt. please take a seat" she pointed towards a biobed, the most uncomfortable thing in the galaxy for Raiben. He can easily choose to be inside the interogation room of a Dominion Dreadnaught against the biobed. The interogation room atleast held a chance to escape from it even if it was very very little. Soon Doctor T'Val finished her work with the engineer and turned towards Raiben. "How do you feel Lt.?" she asked. "Thats the problem. Looks like the turbolifts are trying to take your job from your hands" Raiben replied. T'Val raised her eyebrows getting the questioning Vulcan gesture to her face. "Let me explain" Raiben started just to get rid of that look. "I was feeling exausted and sensing a lot of pain in my mind as we returned to the ship. When i have taken a turbolift ride to the bridge as you were going to the sickbay all of those feelings were lost. And upon my way back, i felt the same feelings again just to be taken care of with the lift ride. It doesn't makes sense Doc. feelings are not changed with little turbolift rides" "Well before i give my professional idea here i first want to make some tests. Please Lt. lay down" OOC: Sorry for the double post; but rules are rules

ooc: Commodore Loskene is in sickbay, unless he released himself without T'Val knowing about it (unlikely)
T'Val motioned for the security chief to lay down on the biobed and closed the diagnostic semicircle over his torso. She programmed it to perform various tests, from respiratory to physical, also taking bloodsamples for various hematological, klinical and micriobiological tests.
A full hour later, T'Val returned with the test results. "I cannot find anything out of the ordinary," she reported, though she found it extremely odd considering his earlier violent behavious and his apparent ill feelings before he reported to sickbay.
"As soon as you have these complaints again, stay put and call me," she told him, "your psyche may very well react to you going to sickbay, and since technically you do not wish to be here, your complaints are suppressed. It is very hard to find a suppressed emotion or other complaint if the subject does not wish it to be found, consciously or unconsciously."
She helped him sit up and peered at him with interest. "I suggest you talk to counselor Kel about your experiences, and take anger control classes to subdue your apparent violent attaqués."

Commodore Loskene was laying in sickbay. He had just awoken and it was obviously late at night, the lights were dimmed. He had wondered when he had gotten there. The last thing he remembered was seeing Raiben Winters and Admiral Loskene entering his cell. The Commodore immediately jumped out of bed but fell victim to a dizzy spell. He almost fell over but someone caught him.
Voice: You will have to lie back down, I am afraid. Although you are healing well, your equilibrium is obviously not functioning to it's potential.
Commodore Loskene: Doctor T'Val...?
T'Val: Yes.
Commodore Loskene: What has happened? What about the Romulan ship?!
T'Val: I will not overstimulate you, but I believe you should know that once we were returned to the Jefferson, a battle ensued. The Jefferson managed to cripple the Warbird's engines, but Commander Matthews believes that they have already sent a distress call to the Romulans. Matthews has layed in a course back to Federation space.
Commodore Loskene: He what?!
T'Val: You should not over-exert yourself.
Commodore Loskene: I never gave that order. Where is Admiral Loskene?
T'Val: Admiral Loskene has secluded himself in his quarters. Apparently he wants nothing more to do with the ship and its crew. Lie back down Commodore, you shall not be here for more than 12 hours.
OOC: This isn't over yet...

Raiben rechecked the sensor readings.
"That nebula looks friendly sir. I believe it will allow us to use our sensors with minimal reduction" Raiben reported.
"Helm take us in" gaved the order Commander Matthews.
The Jefferson has returned to the Federation space; but they still remained close to the border to maintain sensor readings at the surrounding sectors to monitor Romulan activities.
Raiben never agreed with the plan; but orders were orders. He has taken care of the Warbird with an order and the other was to retreat. Commodore's orders were clear, he wished to proceed to Cirrus Procae and see that the Romulans were or were not building a doomsday weapon.
Jefferson with her current status can clearly take down enough Warbirds to reach the destination, take enough more down to get out of the Romulan zone after taking a gaze; but that will end up in a total war.
"If you'll excuse me sir, I'll will be monitoring the repairs of the tactical systems" said Raiben.
He was bored. So bored that he can even pick up tools and help the engineers.

T'Val sighed as she told her CO to lie back down as she knew she wouldn't be able to keep him in sickbay much longer. He belonged on the bridge, but his health was her primary concern. Yet, she sensed his distress, there was something at their primary destination that was very important to him, and she knew that they had to get there.
"I am going to make a deal with you," she finally relented. "I am going to allow you to the bridge now, if you promise to be back within two hours. If you are not back by then, I will have security escort you back here and I will have you put in isolation."
<Loskene>
She sighed again; besides doctors, CO's made the worst patients. Yade seemed to be agreeing with her, as she chirped happily. "I am going to inject you with betahistine now to reduce any form of dizziness, but if it persists I want you to return instantly. I have seen what Rayna has done to you first hand, as I have been on the receiving end of that treatment also. I should probably confine myself to rest also, but your health at present is my primary concern." She paused for a moment, and regarded him with interest. "Sir," she finally added, as if she had forgotten it in the first place.

Commodore Loskene was shocked to hear the words come out of the docs mouth. "A deal" He had heard those words many times but never from a doctor. Loskene finally nodded and T'Val handed him his uniform. Loskene proceeded to a small side room and changed into his uniform, and came out several minutes later.
Commodore Loskene: First order of business, where is Rayna?
T'Val: Oh, the Romulan... She is in the brig.
Loskene headed directly for the door.
T'Val: Commodore, I would not recommend-
Loskene: I'll be alright. I've dealt with far worse.
Loskene continued out and headed for the brig. He needed answers. She knew about Cirrus Procae, she reacted strongly to hearing of the Jefferson's heading. "I will know the truth" Loskene thought. The tables had turned, and Loskene couldn't help but see the irony in the situation. She was now at his mercy.
He had finally reached the brig and entered. A guard was posted and was seated at a console. The guard looked up and Loskene approached.
Guard: Sir.
Commodore Loskene: Please leave.
Guard: Sir...what about-
Commodore Loskene: You are relieved, your break comes early today.
The guard reluctantly got up and left. A few seconds afterward Loskene walked up to the cell. The force-field was up and Rayna was laying down in her cell. Loskene loudly banged on the wall, forcing Rayna to look up.
Loskene: We meet again... I don't have to tell you why you are on my ship in the brig. To put it bluntly, if you cooperate fully, the severity of your situation may ease. If you don't...well...then I will have to resort to harsher methods to get what I want...

T'Val sighed visibly and shook her head. Commanding officers would be commanding officers, and she hoped he'd stick to the demand that he'd return to sickbay within two hours, because she didn't really feel like having to send security after the man.
She picked up the red rod that had been confiscated from Rayna, and looked at it closely. She felt pain jolt up her arm as she picked it up, but managed to fight it. "Sickbay to Jalli-Tol. I have something here that I would like you to examine."
<Jalli-Tol>
~~
In the brig, Rayna looked up when her former prisoner had banged onto the wall. She bared her teeth at him in a sneer. "The severity of my situation?" she laughed, "I am merely locked up in your brig. You, however, are deep in Romulan territory, and in violation of your own treaties. I wonder who is more deeply in trouble."
The Romulan commanding officer folded her arms over her chest as she leaned against the wall in expectation. "It is too bad I didn't kill you when I could, I would've been well within my rights to do so, you know. I can see though, that you are still weak, and your little stunt told me quite a deal about you Loskene." She left out his rank on purpose, knowing that this would very likely anger him, and that was where she wanted him. If her were angry, he would probably grow careless. And careless people were easy prey.
"Obviously, you will have to come get what you want, because I will not give it to you voluntarily."

Commodore Loskene began to feel enraged. He hadn't been this angry in quite a while. The woman seemed to take a perverse pleasure in taunting him. Loskene almost ran at the woman but restrained himself. He remembered something someone had said, a man named Isaac Asimov "Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent."
Loskene went over to the console and grabbed a chair. He placed it parallel to the cell and sat down.
Loskene: I am hoping that I will not have to come in there. I am hoping that you will cooperate and that I don't have to resort to unpleasant acts. Federation laws state that torture is illegal. However, this is a matter that I believe supersedes that. For you see....the galaxy is at stake, due to an unforeseen mistake. This is about Cirrus Procae, Rayna. I know what is going on down there and what will happen. I-
Loskene heard the door chime.
Loskene: Not now.
The person ignored the Commodore and rushed in. It was Admiral Loskene. Rayna saw the other Loskene and looked somewhat confused.
Loskene: Admiral, what the hell are you doing here? I gave explicit instructions for no interruptions.
Admiral Loskene: Commodore, I have received a communication from my ship. They were able to get in contact with me by sending a message into the time rift.
Loskene: In the other room.
Both Loskene's entered a side room in the brig.
Loskene: Alright, go ahead.
Admiral Loskene: My ship stands ready to enter the rift.
Loskene: What?
Admiral Loskene: A short time ago, a probe was sent through the rift by my ship. The probe, which is of course a physical object, survived the trip. I have given instructions for my Jefferson to enter the rift.
Loskene: That is foolish. A probe is one thing, but a whole ship? You have no idea if they will make it.
Admiral Loskene: I know, but it's important. Commodore, I have learned that our counterpart in the alternate universe that contacted you may not be the only one who will suffer the catastrophe. My Jefferson launched a long-range probe into the Cirrus Procae system and discovered a lab on one of the planet's moons.
Loskene: Alright, maybe the catastrophe will occur in our reality. Still, what will it accomplish to have your ship here?
Admiral Loskene: We could show Rayna aboard my ship. Give her evidence of the disaster...Perhaps she could convince her government that their experiments will have lasting repercussions?
Loskene: No, out of the question.
Admiral Loskene: Why?
Loskene: Because damn it! We can't risk giving the Romulans knowledge of the future. She'll report everything she sees on your ship before she'll ever tell anyone about the catastrophe! Besides, You'd have better luck arguing politics with a Tellarite then convincing her of this!
Commodore Loskene went silent for a few moments, and Admiral Loskene walked up close to the Commodore.
Admiral Loskene: ....She's hurt you. Your wound is making you blind to what's happening.
Loskene: I have no wounds, the doctor was able to repair the damage.
Admiral Loskene: That's not what I mean, and you know it. You are obviously enraged by her. I understand, her receiving your thoughts and memories was upsetting to me as well. I know you, and I know me. There are somethings that make us weak. But their are also things that make us strong, and she knows this. She also admires you, very much so. She admired your will power. We both know that she is trying to once again be the interrogator. We both know that to be untrue. Go out there and show how strong you are, show her that you are willing to put it behind you and offer her the truth.
Commodore Loskene sat down and rubbed his brow. He had not rested in days, except of course for his time in sickbay, and was trying to decide if what the Admiral said was true...

=/\= Main Bridge =/\=
Cmdr Matthew “ walk over to the center command Chair as he watch the duty sifts change as the new officers start manning there Duty consoles. he turned to his Science Officer, Lt J.G. T'Nar "Start to monitoring his station .
I mister T'Nar I want a continuous scans to be preformed. I want you to report anything that looks out of the ordinary. Those scans should include the surrounding space and the planets as well."
"Aye, sir" Reported mister T' Nar and he turned to tap at the console. James looked to the Bridge operations officer Lt. Cmdr Hayes. "I want you to start monitoring the Ship key systems. Also, send word out to each department and tell them to report in one hour."
-=- Later-=-
Matthew paced back and fourth, wondering where Stanching had gotten to. "Have you reached him yet?" he asked Ensign Chen.
"No sir, communications are encountering interference from the storms, we can't raise him."
"Send someone to his Quarters to get him, he needs to be here."
"yes, sir."
Lieutenant Faith spoke. "If I'm reading these scans right it shouldn't be to much longer until the final shockwave Clear this system ."
"Specifics?"
"I can't get any more specific at this time, sir."
Matthew ’ nodded.

=/\= Lt. Commander Stanching Quarters =/\=
Commander Stanching managed to sleep but his dreams were fitful as the humming of the ship engines and there vibrations where really disturbed him from the dream world he sought to escape to. It was the bleeping of door chime that awoke him to the real world and the terrible scene through the windows.
Ensign Miller” entered the room looking a little nervous as per usual. Stanching did not understand what it was about his demeanor that inspired such a reaction but it was there.
Ensign Miller> “ Sir the shock wave is expected shortly we have been trying to raise you but the internal ship communications are down with the storms shockwave so closet to us!”
Stanching nodded and turned over to see that he had been asleep for about 2 Hour longer than he had intended.
Lt. Commander Stanching> “ How long do we have?”
Ensign Miller> “ According to science not long, and 15 minutes or maybe Less, we have the telemetry back in operations ready for you!”
Stanching quickly showered and dressed taking just one final moment to check out his image in the mirror. The Command red felt natural to him now; he no longer felt the urging to wear the greens of the SFMC.
He shook his head and exited his Quarters with the ensign.
== Scene: ship main corridors. Deck 8 =
Ensign miller” looked frightened, he had reason to, the storms was not that far away Unknown to them both as they headed to the bridge the Ship start to reacted to the shockwave as it went pass the Jefferson .
CNO officer “ sir my sensors are reading many temperature and pressure changes around the ship sir the shockwave has moved pass us now .
[End Snip]
"Here it comes!" Lt Faith shouted.
Cmdr Matthew "All decks Brace for impact!" said as they grabbed for various consoles. Then it hit. Cmdr ,Matthew was thrown to the ground and rolled over once before hitting a console, her face impacting with it. he was literally thrown off his feet.
Sparks came from a few of the consoles as power relays overloaded. Then came the darkness. The dimly light battle bridge was suddenly cast into shadow. Matthew waited, still on the floor. Slowly, the emergency lighting activated. The Main bridge was now cast in a dim chrisom red. "Report," Matthew asked, his voice low. he looked around, unsure of what damage the shockwave had created.
Cmdr Matthew’ Ensign Miller have all department report in there Status Got up off the floor Walk over to the Center chair Captain to the Bridge
Matthew > well that was not that bad everyone look like we all where Lucky this time Boy I need a vacation ?

Rayna watched indifferently as an older version of the commodore pulled the commodore away to a sideroom. She observed a heated argument though she could not overhear the words, no matter how superior her hearing was to those humans, and most other species in the Federation.
She laughed to herself, as she'd had the commodore almost where she'd wanted him. If he were angry, it was more likely that he'd tell her what she'd wanted to know all along, and just before the older Loskene had barged in, he'd been about to tell her.
When the commodore finally returned, he looked different, still angry but calmer in some way. She met his gaze boldly, as she sat upright on the bench in her cell. "That was something unexpected," she challenged, "are you his puppet, that you do as he says? Or do you have a will of your own." She knew that taunting him would anger him anew, yet she was surprised when there was no reaction forthcoming. Raising an eyebrow at him, she leaned back.
With new interest, she listened as the commodore laid out his plans to her, as well as what was happening at the Jefferson's destination Cirrus Procae. Rayna wondered if what he was telling her was true, she knew at least that he believed it to be true. "This is a trap," she finally spat at him, "you are trying to win my confidence, make me lose my guard and then you'll spring your little trap on me. Don't try this with me Starfleet, I've seen with my own eyes what a sneaky lot you Federation and Starfleet are. I can't trust you, not until you prove me that I can trust you, and even then I shall be wary of you!"
~~
In sickbay, T'Val glanced at the chronometer and noted that the commodore's two hours were up. "Sickbay to bridge, is the commodore there?"
"This is Matthews, negative doctor. Commodore Loskene has not been to the bridge."
"Yes I thought so, thank you commander. Sickbay out."
She tapped her combadge again. "T'Val to Winters, please have security escort Commodore Loskene back to sickbay. Gently please, as he is very weak."

"Computer locate Commodore Loskene" he said tapping his desk computer.
"Commodore Loskene is currently at the brig" it replied back.
=/\=Security detail gamma meet with me at the brig =/\=
It was not his liking. Escorting his senior officer to somewhere might seem to him as a bully, but to sickbay; he hoped that Doctor knows whats she doing.
Raiben entered the brig followed by four security guards. He motined them to wait outside and walked towards the Commodore sitting infront of a cell.
Rayna backed off just as he saw the fully armed security chief. Neither it was the protocol nor they were on alert. This was the Raiben's way. He allways liked to be ready for any situation and his Dak'Targ and hand phaser never left him alone.
He leaned towards the Commodore and motioned him to get away from the Romulan so they can talk.
Loskene with Raiben at his side moved towards the brig office.
"Sir, Doctor T'Val requested that you be escorted back to sickbay gently" said Raiben just before the Commodore asked his question.
"Tell her that i will be coming back to sickbay soon" Loskene replied and motioned towards the door.
"Commodore, please. Health is a matter not to be undertaken" Raiben said and added a 'for you not me' in silence "I must have to take you back to sickbay sir. You either will come peacefully or i will use some gentle force"
Raiben can clearly see the anger at his face.
"Allright, i will come" said Loskene barring his anger.
"Its nothign personal sir. I also dislike the sickbay and i have reasons to believe that its more than you"
Raiben motioned the guards waiting outside to return to their duties. He have to brief the Commodore about the things happened at his sickbay times.
Raiben told him every decision everything that took place. He even told the tale of the fight. He gived him the latest security info's and reports along with the security inventory. And just as he finished they came at the doors of the sickbay.
"Right after you sir" said Raiben and followed the Commodore into the sickbay.
"Doctor, I have your patient escorted back to you. And doctor" Raiben said and leaned towards her ears and whispered "we need him back soon"

Jalli- tol frowned at the device and immediatly set to work. First an x-ray scan and than a polaric energy sweep. Slowly a picture began to emerge. next she carefully she removed obvious pieces and ran them through the cellular scanner. The power device was the most interesting, it had a diadetic nature and was self recharging enabling it to be used for extended periods of time. Jalli-tol marvelled at the complexity of the device despite its horrid purpose. Having fully scanned the device she recreated it holographically and began a series of tests, varying settings and test subjects. Slowly the data accumulated until she had a pretty good picture of what it did. "Jalli-tol to T Val. I believe I have the answers you require." "Go ahead" "The device is of intriguing design. It plays upon a persons neural system, directly affecting the flow and regulation of neurotransmitters in the synapses." "I see, go on" "In Commodore Loskenes case the problem is increased. His physiology would normally be immune to the effects but the synthetic medication he takes to morph to human form acts to amplify the effects of the device. In effect for him the whole of his pre-synaptic gap becomes overloaded with pain inducing neuortransmitters." "Thank you Jalli-tol, It should help me treat him more efficaciously" "Your welcome Doctor. I believe Mr Winters should also be made aware of teh devices capabilitys from a tactical point of view. I will be with him if you need me." "Thank you"

Loskene lay in sickbay, frustrated. He did not spite the doctor, for he knew it was her job. Still, it bothered him greatly. "Time is at stake... I shouldn't be holed up here, the galaxy is at stake" he thought to himself. Loskene began to feel something strange. The ship began to rock a little, and then began to rock violently.
Loskene got up out of bed and contacted the bridge.
Loskene: Bridge, report!
Matthew: Sir, something just hit us. Science department confirms it was some kind of shock wave.
Loskene: Looks like the Romulans are ahead of schedule. I must talk with Admiral Loskene.
Loskene almost ran out the door when he heard the doctor behind him.
<T'Val>
Loskene: Doctor, save your medical protocols for another time! Right now, there are more important things to deal with!
Loskene began to rush out the door when he saw Lt. Winters.
Loskene: Lieutenant, I need you to step aside. I don't want to do anything drastic, but the occasion calls for it.

"Request granted sir" Raiben smiled. "I think we must head to the bridge immediately, sir"
Loskene just opened his mouth and started changing his mood to a more ordering one; but then he just stopped there. He didn't expected that from the Lt. .
"Lets hurry then" he replied back.
Loskene and Raiben started running towards the turbolift; but Raiben turned around and without sound said "Sorry" towards the angry doctor behind.
Normally Raiben must refuse the Commodore's request and force him back to sickbay; but as Commodore was aware the galaxy and their lives are at stake.
They stormed the bridge and just as quickly Loskene took his command Raiben took the tactical console.
"Commodore I am detecting an unidentified craft entering sensor range at full speed, sir" Raiben reported. "We will have a full scan and visual in a matter of seconds"
