"Tedak, how do you know more about this ship than me?" Matt said before Tedak could get a word out" in fact how the hell do you know about sensitive material like the PNB. I noticed RA Loskene reaction when you spoke of it, he was surprised as well."
Tedak looked up in surprise; he hadn't know that it was a secret even within the Federation, and his source certainly hadn't told him that either. "Why Mister Reynolds, how nice of you to stop by," the Romulan replied ever so sweetly, and motioned for a chair with his good right hand. "Do sit down and I'll explain."
He waited for Matt to sit down. "I have friends within Starfleet that have also temporarily served with the Jefferson, when this device had been used. When they heard I was going aboard this fine ship, they offered me this information, and to remind the commanding officer of it's presence when the time should come that it may be used."
He paused. "Starfleet security has not been compromised commander, as none of my own diplomatic staff know of this, nor have I passed this information on to the Tal Shiar. I could have, were I the sort of Romulan you seemingly think that I am." He sat up straighter, his eyes flashing with anger. "I do possess some form of honour commander, I am a guest on this vessel. Passing on it's secrets is not my style."
He hissed as pain shot up his arm once more. "Leave commander, your presence is undesired at this moment." At the foot of the bed, Nut chirped, but did nothing to chase the human away. Sev on the other hand came winging in, batting his wings at the commander.
"Sev!" Tedak called, "settle down this instant!" He didn't want his friends to attack anyone, and Nut's behaviour told him more about the man, than Reynolds himself ever could explain. Yet he refrained from apollogizing to the commander, and waited for the man to leave, or for the CMO to come rushing in.

"Do sit down and I'll explain."
Matt did as Tedak asked and waited for the Romulan to speak. The conversation quickly turned one sided as Tedak informed Matt of the facts and once he knew them, Matt felt like a fool for ever doubting Tedak or T'Val's choice.
"Leave commander, your presence is undesired at this moment."
Immediately after Tedak said that one of his strange pet's came at him and batted his wings in an attack position. Matt was startled, but stood his ground.
"Sev!" Tedak called, "settle down this instant!" Matt stepped back when he heard the anger in Tedak's voice, but he would not leave. He couldn't leave things like this.
"Tedak, I would like to apologize, but my reasons are valid no matter how offensive it may sound to you," Matt said. Tedak didn't speak, he was just trembling in quiet anger. The dragon like creature named Sev was once again in an attack position, but this time the other bronze one went into action.
Yet it surprised him when he stopped Sev from biting Matt and took a defensive position on his shoulder. This caused Tedak to stand, but he found that he couldn't and fell back to the bed making a loud noise.
"What the hell is happening here?" the doctor asked as she entered the room.

Billi left the Ambassador and Matt and went back into her office leaving the tricorder and hypospray outside his room. She went back to her office and the reports while she waited for the two to finish their conversation. It didn't please her to have to wait to get to his surgery, he was in enough pain as it was. She waited in her office working quietly until the commotion started then she was on her feet in a flash and at the door of the room
"What the hell is happening here?" Billi asked as she entered the room and looked around. The Ambassador was laying across his bed, obviously in pain, his two small dragons obviously upset about something. She glared at Matt. "What's this all about? Get out of here and wait for me in my office." she ordered as she picked up the tricorder and the hypospray once more and waited for Matt to leave before turning to the Ambassador whom she helped get comfortable and administer the pain medicine. She'd have to wait for him to get comfortable again now before doing anything more.
She patted the Ambassadors shoulder, let him know she'd be back and stormed out of his room and back to her office and Matt.
"What was that all about?" She asked as she stood in the door of the office.

Loskene: Ambassador, the PNb is a heavy duty device. By using it, it may leave us vulnerable to a possible threat. Nevertheless, if the odds are against us it is always an option. Mr. Daya, I want you to find out what you can about this Special OPS employee, I want this man and I want an explanation from him for his actions. Anything new from Mr. Macromalice? Ahem...Excuse me, Mr. Mavromatis.
After the meeting Daya went on a man hunt, followed by two of his best men, both with phaser rilfes. He hoped he didnt need to use force, but he would if necessary. "Computer, locate LT. Commander Jeff Pudlo"
"Lt. Commander Jeff Pudlo is in Shuttle Bay 1"
Daya and his two men found therir way into a turbolift and went straight to shuttle bay 1. "Lt. Can i speak with you for moment?" Daya pulled Jeff to the side and spoke quietly with him. "Who was it that dealt with the operative? Can you bring him over here?"
Daya watched as Jeff's crewman stepped out from behind the shuttle and walked over. "Can you tell me who this operative was?"

ooc: Nut's brown:)
Tedak allowed the CMO to assist him, but he couldn't help but feel angry towards the COO. He was used to being mistrusted, but not to being stabbed in the back by what he thought were his friends. He was immensely surprisd at Reynolds' behaviour indeed. However before he could respond, the CMO stormed in and told Reynolds to get out of the room.
When Reynolds was gone, his two firelizards settled down instantly, but the Romulan noted that Nut was keeping a close watch on his littermate. The little brown's eyes were whirling orange with anger, that was directed at the bronze, who gave an indignant chirp in return. "Sev," Tedak growled at his pet, "that was very rude, I was quite able to handle things."
He looked up at Eviston. "Do please give Reynolds my apollogies for Sev's behaviour, it was uncalled for." ~even if he thought I was being attacked~ he thought. "What is the matter with that officer anyway," he sighed after Eviston had settled him and gently squeezed his shoulder before she departed. The Romulan was alone with his pain and thoughts now, though he knew the doctor wouldn't be gone very long.
After what seemed eternity, the young doctor returned, this time wearing a surgical apron. The Romulan paled ever so slightly but her smile was comforting. "Do please continue doctor," Tedak smiled thinly, "I would prefer to get back to my quarters as soon as possible. I have a message to send to the admiral, regarding ship security."

Billi took a short break, after giving Matt her thoughts on him upsetting her patient, to get ready for the surgery. She would have done it with anyone, you don't walk into her sickbay and upset her patients. Billi watched as Matt left sickbay before turning, and preparing for the upcoming surgery.
A short time later she reentered the Ambassadors private room, sitting on the edge of the bed. "Do please continue doctor," Tedak smiled thinly, "I would prefer to get back to my quarters as soon as possible. I have a message to send to the admiral, regarding ship security."
Billi tried to smile, casting a glance at the two small dragons. "Will they let me do my work Ambassador? The last thing I need is to be attacked because they feel I am hurting you." asking quietly while she administered a sleeping agent which would make him drowsy. Two medics and a stretcher arrived shortly after and assisted the now very drowsy Ambassador in laying down on it and pushed him into surgery.
[An hour and a half later]
Billi took a deep breath as she left the surgical suite. The surgery had gone off without a hitch and he was resting comfortably. She pulled the surgical gown off and tossed it into a nearby bin. Her eyes ached, her whole body ached but she was happy and the Ambassador would have full use of his arm ... eventually. There would be physical therapy to contend with too. How would he take to that, she wondered.
She watched as his gerny was pushed back into his room and settled into bed. He'd wake shortly and she wanted to be there to make sure he didn't have much pain. First things first, she stepped into her office and sat down at the desk, and began writing up the report on the surgery.
Billi finished the report and glanced at the time on her console, it was time to see to the Ambassador, who should be waking up ..
She stood, exited her office PADD in hand and walked into his room just as he stirred and groaned. She sat down on the edge of his bed gently and waited for him to wake fully.

Tedak stirred and groaned as the sedatives started wearing off. Again he felt relieved at the fact that he didn't have any medication allergies, and generally didn't experience any after effects from drugs either. Yet this was different, and his vision swam as he tried to sit up. Automatically, he tried to push himself up with his left arm; but this time failed miserably as he had no sensation in the arm at all.
Two concerned chirps drew his attention away from his discomfort, and he smiled weakly as his two firelizards drew near. Both of them were crouching low to the blankets, but they looked concerned and eager to get near him. "Come to me," he whispered at them, and instantly they were upon him.
Then he noticed the CMO standing in the doorway, looking equally concerned. "I'm all right," he managed, fighting against the dizziness he was experiencing, "though don't ask me to get up anytime soon. It wouldn't be a very....dignified.....experience right now. Did the surgery go well? I've no sensation in my arm."
Tedak looked up, fear crossing his face briefly. "I will regain full use again won't I?"

LONG JP between Ambassador Tedak and Doc Eviston
Tedak noticed the CMO standing in the doorway, looking equally concerned.
Billi sat down on the edge of his bed gently and waited for him to wake fully.
She smiled slightly and nodded, placing a hand on his good one. "Yes Ambassador, you will regain full use of your arm. It's going to take some work on your part and no more playing on the holodeck ... " she laughed. "At least not without me."
"I wasn't playing," the Romulan scowled, "I was practicing."
Billi sighed seeing her joke was lost to him. "Fine ... practicing then." She picked up the tricorder and ran it over his arm, reading the information from the scan. "How are you feeling?"
"Better," Tedak replied, managing to smile at her, "though if you would help me sit up?" He continued to smile, and the happy behavior of his duo on this wasn't lost on the diplomat. ~they approve~ he thought. "Your appearance on itself works marvels doctor."
Billis cheeks flushed as she moved to help him into a sitting position. "Thank you sir" she glanced at the two small dragons. "And .. thank you.." The two dragons intrigued her but for now, her patient was more important than her being nosey. "You'll have to do exercises, ... my exercises to get your arm back to normal ... " she knew herself how hard it was to follow protocol at times, her own exercise program she used .. evidence of that.
Tedak blinked. "Your exercises?" he echoed, "and what might those be?" He peered at his neatly bandaged arm and found that he could now slightly move his fingers. He winced when he did so. "Sensation is returning," he reported.
She picked up a hypospray and administered it. "Lets not discuss those until you are ready. For now lets keep the pain to a minimum and let the arm heal itself. It'll be a few days before you'll be able to do much with it ... and " she knew this next part would get an argument. "...I’d like you to stay here till then."
Tedak scowled. "How can I do my job when I'm confined to sickbay?" he retorted, not at all happy with the fact that he had to stay. "Surely with aid of the sling I can keep movement to a minimum? Nut can hold a PADD steady while I try typing with my right hand if needed. Sev can aid me with other things." He smiled slyly. "Before surgery, they helped me get dressed in this thing." He tugged at the sickbay tunic.
Billi frowned and spoke in a fake hurt tone. "Are you calling me incompetent?" She glanced at the two dragons and winked. "Maybe I should let them play doctor and I take a vacation?"
Tedak feigned innocence. "Incompetent? Surely not my dear, you've done a fine job here I assure you. I just don't want to spend all this time in sickbay, when there is important work to be done. Lives depend on it."
"Don't worry, I'm sure if they need you, someone will come find you." ...Why did men have to be so difficult.. she wondered. "I can set anything you might need up in here while you stay as my guest."
"Guest huh?" Tedak said, the sly smile still on his face, "then I suppose you're here to spend dinner with me? And yes an interface with the bridge would be needed. Perhaps your friend Reynolds would be so kind to set that up." ~that'd get him out of my hair for a while~ he thought.
Billi looked up at the Ambassador as he spoke. "I will see what I can arrange. Commander Reynolds I am sure will help with that." She smiled and nodded, his words not lost to her at all. "Is there anything else you will need?"
"Well," Tedak started, "I would like to see your notes on the meeting, and I would like to have admiral Loskene called down. I need to speak with him about ship's security."
"I'll get them for you right away Sir and get a message to the Commander about the interface." She stood, and stretched, letting out a low groan.
"Something wrong doctor?" Tedak asked, scowling somewhat at constantly being called 'sir'.
He sat up straighter and attempted to hold out his hand towards her. However with being horribly out of balance, he nearly toppled over.
Billi was quick to catch the Ambassador. "I'm fine ... thank you." She smiled slightly. "Let me get those notes for you and you be a good 'boy'." winking as she said it. " ... and stay right here."
Tedak frowned but did as he was told without further comment. He was feeling better every minute, and his arm wasn't quite bothering him as it had been before the surgery. What did annoy him was that he was confined to sickbay, when he had so much work to do. He still had to work with the chief engineer on the ghosts, and he couldn't very well do that from sickbay. "Oh doc? Could you send Engineer Pudlo my apologies, that I can't be with him in engineering to work on the sensor ghosts?" He chewed his lip in annoyance as he couldn't remember the chief's rank.
Billi stopped at the door and nodded. "Of course Ambassador." She turned and exited his room, moving quickly next door to her office. It didn't take more than a few minutes to contact Commander Reynolds regarding the interface and the Engineer as well as pick up their notes.
First she contacted Matt. =/\= Commander Reynolds I need a computer interface created between Ambassador Tedaks room and the Bridge due to him being my guest in sickbay for a few days. =/\= she closed the link and then had to hunt up the Engineer and leave him a message as well. =/\= Commander Pudlo, Ambassador Tedak sends his regrets that due to surgery he is unable to meet with you in Engineering regarding the sensor ghosts. If you need to speak with him he'll be my guest in sickbay the next few days. =/\= She closed the channel and picked up the PADD letting out a sigh, feeling much more like a messenger than a doctor. It didn't matter, it was all part of her job.
She reentered the Ambassadors room and sat back down, this time in the chair next to the bed and handed him the PADD. "Your messages have been sent and here are the notes I took from the meeting." She leaned back in the chair and grew quiet.
"Thank you doctor," Tedak smiled, then noticed how tired she looked. "When is the last you had any sleep?" he then queried.
Billi smiled slightly. "You're welcome." she thought about his question and frowned. "Somewhere about yesterday I think." She looked at the Ambassador. "I had you to worry about and trying to get stuff ready to rock and roll down here." She'd catch a few winks in her office once he nodded off. "I'll be fine."
"Well you don't have to worry about me now dear doctor, I'm sure I can manage for now while you try to get some sleep. Rayna should still be about should I need anything," Tedak smiled, then stifled a yawn of his own.
Billi stood. “You get some rest Ambassador and I’ll check on you later. That pain killer I gave you should be kicking in real soon and help with that.” She patted his shoulder. “I will get some rest, I promise.”

"Can you tell me who this operative was?"
"no, I cannot tell you ofhand. However, I had stunned him at one point, and managed to pick up a DNA sample off of his body. I cannot vouch for it's accuracy- it may be his, it may not be. Specal Ops has many different methods of covering it's tracks. I do however, belive him."
"Could you please hand the sample over?" Daya asked.
"I suppose." He pulld out a sample vial. "again, I cannot vouch for accuracy."
"Don't wory, we'll take care of it."
"Just don't treat him like our intruder." Jeff added.
"Yes sir...." Daya rolled his eyes. "may I do my job now?"
"you don't need my permission. that was a respetful request. Now, with your permission, may we do our work?"
"Yes. Please continue. sorry to bother you."
Jeff and Mrak turned back to the half finished maze of conduits and cables and resumed work. A minute later, Jeff's commbadge chirrped. he sighed. "Pudlo here"
"this is Doctor Eviston. Ambasitor Tedak sends hiis apologies for not being able to help with the sensor ghost."
"tell him that it's fine, It came together just fine. Also tell him that his ship's secrets are safe with me." Jeff closed out, and turned back to work. This was delcate part tying the iamgeing sensors into the web...

Daya left the shuttle and headed for sickbay. He left his two men outside the door and walked in by himself. "Doctor, can i have do something for me really quick?" he asked as he walked over to her. It appeared to him she had just returned from somewhere her self.
"Can i have you take a look at this DNA sample and tell me who or what it is?"

Scene: CMO’s office, Sickbay, Deck 7, USS JEFFERSON
"What was that all about?"
Matt was no longer as mad as he was only a minutes ago, he realized that he had prejudged Tedak for being Romulan and Matt was not that kind of person. He prided himself on being an open minded person, who accepted everyone, but this incident had taught him a lot about himself and he didn’t like what he saw.
Yet Matt knew that this wasn’t the entire reason for his erratic behavior. He had felt jealous and envious of Tedak for spending time with their newest crewmate. Matt didn’t know where these feelings had come from since he had just met the woman, but he couldn’t deny that he felt an attraction towards her that just wouldn’t go away. ~How stupid are you, Tedak is married to T’Val and Billi is just a nice person~ Matt told himself before speaking up.
“Look Billi, I didn’t mean to cause Tedak pain, that is not what I wanted to do, but I got mad,” Matt said trying to explain himself, but Billi was not hearing anything.
“Look I will say this once and just once,” Billi said so that only he could hear her,” if you ever cause any distress to my patients again I will make sure to cause you a lot of pain. Now get out of my sickbay.”
Matt complied with the doctor’s request and quickly left sickbay, he knew that she just might go through with her threat. Matt felt like crap, but knew that he couldn’t dwell on his personal problems. He had to worry about the fight that the ship would find itself in a couple of hours.
“Computer bridge.”
------------------------------- Scene: Bridge, Deck 1, USS JEFFERSON
Matt entered the bridge without drawing much attention to himself. This was due to the fact that almost everyone was engulfed in their present work. They all worked with urgency and drive, but were sure to make no mistakes.
Matt quickly sat at his station and began to work on more preparations. His work was shortly interrupted when Billi contacted him, something that surprised him.
=/\= Commander Reynolds I need a computer interface created between Ambassador Tedak’s room and the bridge due to him being my guest in sickbay for a few days. =/\=
=^=Understood, Reynolds out=^=
Matt had other work to do, but decided that it would be best for everyone if he did this as quickly as possible. So he quickly set up the programming required and connected the panels concerned.
=^=Reynolds Doctor Eviston, Ambassador Tedak’s request has been completed, he can now talk with any department on the ship=^=
<Tag Billi>
After he finished helping out Tedak, Matt went back to what he was doing before he had been interrupted and that was studying the schematics and workings of the PNB.

Billi had left the Ambassador drowsy and quickly passing into sleep and had gone back to her office to try and finish those reports when two COMM messages came through, both for the Ambassador. The first from the Chief Engineer.
=/\= Tell him that it's fine, It came together just fine. Also tell him that his ship's secrets are safe with me. =/\=
and secondly from Commander Reynolds, who surprisingly enough had been adult enough to apologize for his bad manners in her sickbay and leave when she asked him to.
=/\= Reynolds Doctor Eviston, Ambassador Tedak’s request has been completed, he can now talk with any department on the ship. =/\=
Billi made note of both messages on a PADD and picked up a couple of the reports she had been compiling, she'd finish them while monitering the Ambassador, sitting in his room, listening to the chirps of the dragons gave her a different atmosphere than in her steril office.
On the way out of her office she practically ran into Lt. Daya, who appearantly had something else for her to do.
"Can I have you take a look at this DNA sample and tell me who or what it is?" He asked.
"Of course Lieutenant. I"ll get right on it and get back to you as soon as possible."
She took the sample from him and turned heading for one of the labs nearby, leaving it there. The lab tech on duty would handle it right away.
Billi called to him as he turned to leave. "I'll let you know what we find Sir."
As the doors swished shut behind him, leaving her standing in the middle of sickbay, several PADDS in hand, she laughed lightly and turned, entered the Ambassadors room and after placing the PADD with his messages on it next to his bed she settled back, reading and writing the reports, the two dragons now curled up with the Ambassador, all three sleeping soundly.
It didn't take long for her own eyes to close and for the PADD she was reading to drop into her lap, her body relaxing as she too, finally ... slumbered...

Before anyone knew what was happening, three Romulans and two Remans, all armed to the teeth appeared on the bridge and seemingly out of nowhere. One of the Remans fixed his gaze on the Betazoid counselor, who was presently monitoring environmental control, and the young ensign collapsed without a sound.
The other Reman fixed his gaze on the commanding officer, whose face writhed in pain as the Reman did his work. Yet none of the invaders dared touching him, and the only thing the Reman did was make the admiral very uncomfortable, and unable to do anything but sit very still in his chair.
The remaining three Romulans spread out on the bridge and took over control, knowing that their partners elsewhere on the ship would have to work very quickly. Elsewhere on the ship, two Romulans appeared out of nowhere in the holding cell area and shot the two guards at one of the cells on sight. Neither Romulan cared whether their victims were stunned or dead as they marched forward.
"Mavromatis," one of them snapped, as the prisoner jumped to his feet at the sound of a strange voice. "You're coming with us." The Romulan leveled his disruptor and fired once, stunning the saboteur. Just as quickly as they had come, they also disappeared again.
Four more Romulans beamed straight into sickbay, just moments after Lieutenant Daya had departed. They watched a pointy-eared woman dart away, and they knew the woman was Romulan. "Get her," Subcommander Talis snapped, as he marched towards the CMO's office. While two of his company went after Rayna, Talis and the remaining companion marched into the office, smashing the glass doors as they did so. However when they entered, they found the room rather empty.
"Search the place," Talis ordered and he didn't have to wait long for her to be found. One of his guards had found her asleep at the side of one of her patients. "Get up," he snapped, as he unceremoniously yanked her to her feet. "Your presence is required elsewhere." He looked up as one his guards came marching in, trying his best to keep a kicking and biting Rayna in check. At last they managed to wrench the young Romulan's arms on her back and bind them together with tape.
"Where's the other one?" Talis remarked, noting that he now had the CMO, the traitress, but not the diplomat. Yet the sleeping patient resembled his third quarry remarkably, but without verification, they could easily take the wrong person.
"Can't find him subcommander," Lieutenant M'Ris answered, while looking at her feet, "we've lost the trace." She carefully avoided his gaze, as they had indeed found him, but felt it wouldn't do them any good to abduct a diplomat. The man was injured, and wouldn't be of much help. She avoided looking at the sleeping patient, recognizing her old friend. Fortunately for her, Talis was unaware of the fact that she knew the Romulan diplomat personally.
Talis gazed at his guard and frowned, but didn't press the matter. The CMO was most important as his prisoner was injured. Just as quickly as they had come, they were also gone again.
Tedak, who had by now been feigning sleep, jumped out of bed after they were gone, only to immediately crash down again because he was still extremely drowsy and his body wouldn't respond to the commands his mind was giving. "Tedak to security!" he called, but not as strongly as he intended to, "the CMO has just been abducted!"
What he didn't know was that one guard had lingered, and was now carefully taking aim. One twitch of his finger on the trigger emitted an orange beam, and the diplomat slumped to the deck, without having given further details on the abduction of the CMO. The two firelizards screeched, having been awakened from their slumbers and flew at the shooter. Without hesitation, the guard aimed his disruptor again and with two quick shots disabled the two flying creatures, then beamed out as well.
<security, take it away ;D.....Billi, your turn now ;D>

Billi hadn't even realized she'd fallen asleep, one minute reading reports and the next grabbed and roughly pulled to her feet. She let out a startled yelp as her Romulan captor spoke. "Get up," he snapped, "Your presence is required elsewhere."
She gave Rayna a startled glance as they bound her. "What's.." she started to say and was instantly silenced with a slap across her cheek. Her eyes immediately tearing from the sting. She struggled against her captors as they were suddenly beamed elsewhere.
No sooner had they disappeared when the lab tech who had working on the DNA sample came looking for Billi and found instead, the glass wall between the office and sickbay shattered, but no sign of the CMO or Rayna and nearby in the next room Ambassador Tedak and his small dragons unconscious.
She quickly tapped her COMM and raised the alarm. =/\= Security to sickbay immediately =/\= she called frantically before going to the Ambassadors aid, by this time two medics had arrived and were getting him resettled in his bed and in the process of waking him.

Rin muttered to herself as she was finally cleared and allowed to leave quarentine, she’d been there since the ship left the Starbase. She picked up her belongings and the PADD containing the orders she had been given when she left Betazed. She was to meet an Ambassador Tedak, whoever that was. She’d been told he was Romulan and that he was to meet her on board the USS Jefferson. She had not met him yet due to being stuck in quarentine for some stupid virus which had not been overly dangerous but enough to keep her under observation since their departure.
Now she was free and glad of it but where to find this Ambassador. She had just stepped out of the quarentine podd when she touched her head, a strange sort of chirping seemed to ring through it. “What the heck….. “ she said to noone in particular and headed out into the main part of sickbay.
The place was in a shambles, glass from the windows which had housed the CMOs office littered the floor, medics and security seemed all over the place. She found herself drawn to a room next to what was left of the office and stood silently in the doorway.
The medics had finally left, the man in the bed quiet and seemed to be asleep, but something was amiss. Something still wasn’t right. Rin knelt on the floor seeing what appeared to be a shadow move beneath the edge of the bed.
As she pulled the cover away so she could see better she found two small dragons, apparantly stunned. She picked them up gently and placed them on the foot of the bed. What to do now? ----------- NPC: Rin Damis/Ambassador in training

Jeff and Mrak had Just finished making the Claok for the shuttle when Jeff's commbadge vibrated twice. then a third time. "Damn...." jeff breathed, tapping his badge. "computer tie in, what was that?"
"Unauthorized beam in, on board phaser fire...." Jeff ignored the rest. He rushed to the nearest engineering acess panel and tagged his bio code in. he immediatly put up transport inhibitors all over the ship, and Initiated lockdown. "Computer, Red alert."
"Additional auhorization needed from this station."
"Pudlo alpha Omega 89 Zeta. Red alert." Sirens immediatly started blaring as Jeff rushed to Engineering, Mrak following.
"what's happening? sir?"
"Don't know. An unauthorized beam in and unauthorized phaser fire."
"got it."
Jeff opened his office, opened the safe and withdrew a phaser. It was the same model as Starfleet Specal op's design, an advantage of being the designer. Only this one' locator could be turened off. Which it was. He attached it to his belt, and Ran to the bridge after locking his office. ----- He was greeted by the sight of Remans in control of the bridge.
"Get him!"
Jeff rapidly keyed in the sequence that would take him back to engineering and stop all turbolifts from following him. he ducked as a phaser shot bast him and burned the wall. A half second later, the doors closed, and he was gone.

Daya had left sickbay and went back to his office, letting his two en go about there own bussiness for the time being. He was searching througha PADD when his comm was activated, "
Tedak to security!" he called, but not as strongly as he intended to, "the CMO has just been abducted!"
"What was that?" Daya asked as he tapped his comm, trying to get ahold of Tedak once more. "Daya to Ambassador Tedak, whats going on?"
He stood up and headed out the door, calling to him his two men again. "Bangs and Throw, report to sickbay" he said as he speedily walked towards sickbay.
=/\= Security to sickbay immediately =/\=
"On our way" Daya said as he ran from down the hall, only a few moments after he was called, "Alpha team, report to sickbay" he said whne he entered. "What happened?" he said to lab tech who was standing aside to allow the medics to do there work. "I dont know, i just walked in and saw the broken glass, Ambassador Tedak is next door unconcious"
Daya turned and went next door and saw the unconcious body of the ambassador laying on his bed, along with his two dragons. A young woman standing over them. "Who are you?" Daya said as he pulled out his phaser, pointing at the young woman. "Rin Damis, i was supposed to meet the ambassador"
"stay put" Daya said as he stepped up to Tedak's side. =^=Daya to Admiral Loskene, Ambassador Tedak has been shot, by Romulan weapons, his condition is stable but he is unconcious at the moment, Daya out =^=
=^= Daya to all security personell, i need ahead count, find out if any one was taken from the brig, or anywhere else.=^=

OCC: Just one thing Jeff there are still Remans on the bridge. They never beamed back to their ship, according to Tedak's post they took over the bridge. So I will be working in that premise.
Scene: Bridge, Deck 1, USS JEFFERSON
Everything was going smoothly until, Matt heard a slight chirp of a transporter and the next thing he knew there was a Romulan phaser weapon aimed at his body. He thought about going for the red alert button, but he was quickly hit in the back by the bunt of the rifle. Matt wasn't knocked out, but the hit hurt immensely.
The first thing that he noticed was the fact that only three people on the bridge had been stunned into unconsciousness. It took Matt a few seconds to realize why, they were all telepathic.
Matt was quickly yanked from his station and put next to Admiral Loskene, and Commander Matthews. The intruders on board took it upon themselves to take over ops, helm, and tactical. The other stations must have been deemed unimportant.
"Admiral what are we going to do, the rest of the ship doesn't....." Matt started to say before he was struck down by who he took to be the leader. Matt fell to the floor hard and it took him a second to get back up. Once he did he wiped the blood off his face and just stared at him with hate and anger.
The Red alert was then activated and the bridge took the unwelcomed dark red glow. The next seconds were followed by communications by other parts of the ship, but they all knew that there was no way that they could respond to them.
"Everyone but the senior staff will leave the bridge, you will be taken into your conference room and be under guard," the Reman leader said," you and you take your injured with you."
The crew looked at Admiral Loskene for his response, which he quickly told them to do as they were told. He didn't want any of his crew to be put in more danger for him. After all of the bridge crew were gone from their station, RA Loskene finally spoke.
"What are you going to do with us?"

The day on Stubbs world was slowly coming to an end as Dr. Lorenz wrapped up his work. He was busy in his small make-shift shelter that he had constructed. It was tucked deep in a wooded area so that no native would discover it. Lorenz suddenly snapped awake. He became startled when he had noticed that he had fallen asleep. He ran over and peeked out of his small shelter.Lorenz: Oh no. Oh no, no, no, no, no! Damn it! Lorenz plowed his foot into a pile of moist soil, kicking it up several meters into the air. He then remembered that he had to be quiet to avoid detection. He began acting paranoid, looking in every direction, ducking around his encampment and leaning over the lush greenery that surrounded him. He began to pant heavily and quickly crawled back into his shelter. He reached into a med kit and pulled out a hypospray. He quickly injected himself with something, and he instantly began to calm down.
He hopped over to another device, activating it.Lorenz: Lorenz to Flemings. Come in Flemings! Damn it Billy, answer! Where are you?? Lorenz heard a shuffle from outside, several twigs had snapped. Lorenz cowered in a corner, drawing out a welder. He activated it and it began to burn a bright blue. He cautiously approached the entrance to the encampment and poked his face out. From the left, a hand came out and grabbed Lorenz's arm, and yanked him out.Lorenz: Ow! What is this! Lorenz drew out the welder but it was whacked from his hands.
Lorenz got a glimpse of a face. It was a bronze-ish face, jagged prominent eyebrows and crude hair bangs.Lorenz: Rom-Rom-Romulan?? ??: Not exactly, no. The man slapped Lorenz across the face and Lorenz fell to the ground. One of the mans henchmen placed his foot down on Lorenz's back, preventing him from getting up.??: Relax, doctor. I don't intend on injuring you...too much. Lorenz: Just- Just who are you? ? ??: At this point it would be unwise to reveal that to you. Lorenz: But you are a Romulan? ??: Don't you dare speak that name again! A henchmen kicked Lorenz in his side.Lorenz: What do you want with me? ??: You're coming with us! The man picked up Lorenz and led him to an opening in the woods. They were instantly transported away. A short time later, a short, stocky man came stumbling through the brush, stopping at the camp.Short man: Hello....? Hello? Dr. Lorenz? It's Flemings! Doctor? Flemings approached the camp and saw blood on the ground, a struggle had apparently taken place. Flemings squealed when he saw the blood. He was frightened to death of it. He ran past the blood, avoiding it. Then he saw something, something etched into the ground. He tilted his head to read it.H e l p m e it read. Flemings: Oh no. Doctor? .... Flemings ran into the encampment in panic.Back on the JeffersonLoskene was feeling very frustrated as his captive crew were led into the conference room, the door locked behind him. Loskene began to feel faint and sat down.Loskene: I'm- I'm alright. It's just some kind of stun. I don't think I have the energy to just march out of here and take down those Reman [word deleted]... Mr. Pudlo...you...is there anything you can do from here? ...To...To..uh... give us the upper hand? I can't seem to sense anything... It seems that they have inhibited my abilities... We need to find out what's going on within the ship. I have a feeling...it isn't good... <tag Pudlo> (OOC: Good job with the invasion everyone ;D)

ooc: the first part of this post is assuming Loskene spoke the first line, and takes place AFTER his own post..if not, let me know please.
ic:
"What are you going to do with us?"
The Reman, listening to the name Hanaj, shot a daring glance in the admiral's direction. "Sit down," he snapped. Earlier he had managed to subdue the admiral, but he knew that if he would try so again he was likely to damage his prisoner. And that was something he couldn't afford to happen. He leveled his disruptor at the humanoid, for it was apparent to Hanaj that this admiral was no ordinary human.
Hanaj had discovered that Loskene was telepathically gifted, and almost equaled his own strength. Yet years of training had taught him how to block and overcome telepaths. "Sit down," he repeated, but made no move to strike the man down. He admired courage in his opponents, and would give them a chance to a honourable death if the situation warranted it. "Obey, and you wil all survive," he added, "disobey and..." He shifted the aim of his weapon to one of the enlisted bridge officers and pulled the trigger.
A bright red beam emitted from the barrel of his weapon, and struck the person squarely in the chest, leaving a smouldering burn-mark. "She was just an example," Hanaj shrugged, repositioning his aim on Loskene. "I won't repeat myself again."
~~~~~~~~~~
Rayna spat at her captor, kicking him visciously in the shin. He yelped and released her, shoving her into a cell. Fortunately, the doctor had been shoved into the same cell, and sat on one of the benches. Because her hands were still bound on her back, Rayna was unable to keep her balance and catch herself when she fell. With a yelp, she smacked onto the deck. "Well that..." she started, scowling, then looked up at Billi. "You ok doc?" she asked, but before the doctor could answer, a third person was shoved in with them.
The person was a humanoid male, looking extremely bedraggled and injured. "Treat him," Talis ordered, glaring at the two women, "make sure he survives, and we'll see about letting the both of you live."
Rayna ignored the Romulan, who obviously knew who she was. Their gazes locked and now Rayna was certain of that, yet she didn't dare speaking up. She wasn't afraid of her own life, but she feared for that of her newfound friend. Talis averted his gaze eventually and turned on his heels, leaving them to tend to their companion. "Is that who I think it is?" she whispered, edging closer to the unconscious man.
~~~~~~~~~~
Nut wailed piteously as he woke up; his small body was aching all over and he couldn't get his wings to co-operate. Beside him, Sev was stirring also, wailing equally piteously. Yet they both looked up when their own little minds contacted another kind mind. A female was standing over them, her eyes filled with worry. Nut chirped, cautiously creeping up to her.
Looking back, the little brown noticed his bondmate was stirring also and he chirped again. Tedak sighed deeply and stiffled a moan as he opened his eyes. His head swam and he was aching all over. "Doc what did you do to me," he croaked, but then his memory came flooding back. "Doc!" he called out, only to be admonished by a nurse to please be quiet and lay back down. "Where is she?" he demanded, "is she all right?"
From his bed he could see the smashed glass doors, but other than that there was no sign of either Rayna or Billi. The Romulan diplomat sighed again, then spotted Daya sauntering through sickbay, tailed by a few of his security officers. Surely they were already looking for the dear doctor? Looking around, Tedak then spotted Rin, who by now was petting both firelizards. He noticed the two seemed to like the girl, as they were crooning while she petted them.
The girl so far hadn't acknowledged the fact that he had woken up, and she seemed to be waiting for something. "They like you," Tedak addressed her, "the brown is Nut, the bronze is Sev. They're firelizards, coming from the planet Pern. Have you by chance heard if the doctor's okay?"

Rin had just finished placing the stunned dragons on the bed when a security guard appeared at the door and pointed his phaser at her. "Who are you?" he asked, curtly. "I'm Rin Damis, I was supposed to meet Ambassador Tedak." She didn't bother to go into detail about being detained and in quarentine till now but turned her attention to the two small dragons and the man on the bed. "stay put" He ordered as she knelt down. "Yes sir." Her attention no longer on him but the small dragons who it seemed were coming around with her gentle touch. She seemed oblivious to the medics and security as she caressed and soothed the small winged creatures. She'd never seen anything so equisite and so small. And .... she could talk to them, this was a whole new experience for her and one she relished in. Most creatures hated when she used her telepathy. Only when the Ambassador spoke did she look up. "They like you," Tedak addressed her, "the brown is Nut, the bronze is Sev. They're firelizards, coming from the planet Pern. Have you by chance heard if the doctor's okay?" Rin sat back on her heels as she gazed from the dragons to the man in the bed. "Ambassador Tedak?" she knew from talking to the firelizards who he was but wanted confirmation. "They are wonderful creatures Sir." she said as she ran her hands along their bodies. "I am not sure about the Doctor, I heard something about her being abducted." With a nod she glanced at the office and main sickbay area. "Something happened out there, the crying out of your friends here is what caught my attention." She went quiet as her attention was once again drawn to the small creatures before her. ~~**~~**~~ Billi was roughly shoved into a cell, stumbling as she fell against the far wall. She sat up and rubbed her shoulder which had impacted with the wall. Moving to assist Rayna as she was shoved in behind her, "You ok doc?" Rayna asked as she struggled to sit up. Their conversation inturrupted by yet another prisoner thrown into their cell. The guard who had shoved him inside, stood silent then spoke before shutting the door and locking it. "Treat him," Talis ordered, glaring at the two women, "make sure he survives, and we'll see about letting the both of you live." Billi was on her knees next to the unconsious man before the clang of the closing door finished echoing through their cell. She looked over the man, and frowned. How the hell was she supposed to treat him with no supplies. She replied to Raynas question "Is that who I think it is?" as she stood and walked to the door of the cell. "Yes Rayna, I think this is Dr. Lorenz." She banged on the door and called out the small window. "I can't treat him without supplies. You want him to live get me what I need and now." If they didn't give her the supplies she needed, he would die and she wouldn't be able to put her own little plan into action. Mentally she made a list of the supplies she would need while she waited for a response from her captors.

Scene: Bridge, Deck 1, USS JEFFERSON
The conversation with Admiral Loskene was icy at best, and Matt for a second thought that the Reman would shoot his commanding officer, but something much worse happened. The Reman raised his rifle and aimed it at a young ensign and fired. It seemed as the young women took for ever to fall, her face was that of shock and pain, but there was nothing that she could do to stop herself from dieing.
Without thinking Matt ran towards the young petty officer. He wouldn't let a member of his crew die alone, not like this. Matt felt a hand on his shoulder, but it was quickly gone when the Reman leader said.
"Let him be," Hanaj said," she was just an example. I won't repeat myself again." Matt knew that the woman next to him was named Sirya, a Bajorian who dreamed of working for the Federation's astronomical society.
"May the prophets be with you Sirya, they will welcome you to the Celestial Temple," Matt said trying to comfort her. The next second she gasped for air and died.
"Hanaj we have a problem, all out going communications has just been severed and there i s now way that we can reestablish it," the Reman at Matt's station said.
"Who is the operations officer?" Hanaj asked. Matt slowly got up from where he was and approached the man.
"I am the operations officer," Matt said defiantly.
"Get us back communications," Hanaj said pointing his rifle at him.
"I cannot do that even before you invaded our ship I planned to lockout all outgoing communications, the only way for them to come back on line was for us to be in Federation space," Matt said lying through his teeth.
"I don't believe you," Hanaj said as he lifted Matt from where he was standing with one hand. Matt started gasping for air trying to breath.
"I am not lying you piece of dung," Matt said keeping up his lie. Matt found himself flying a couple of feet until he hit the floor hard.
"Get him up," Hanaj said,"unlock the communications or I will shoot you."
"I cannot, its impossible or can't you hear ," Matt said knowing that he could easily be shot at the moment.
The next second the familiar bright red beam shot out of his rifle and hit Matt in the stomach. Matt fell back onto the ground not really knowing what had just happened to him, but once he hit the floor once again he felt a horrible pain throughout his body. The next thing he knew there was only darkness and then nothing.

On the bridge, Ensign Sirya had just been felled by the Reman disruptor. Johnson saw Reynolds go to her.
"Let him be," said the Reman commander, "she was just an example. I won't repeat myself again."
He then demanded that Matt activated the communications. Matt refused, saying that there was no way to get them back online. Alex knew this to be untrue but he agreed with Matt's decision.
The situation escalated and before anyone knew what was happening, the Reman was holding Reynolds by the throat.
"Hey!" shouted Alex and ran towards the Reman, but before he knew what was happening he was hit in the face by another Reman. He flew backwards and was dizzy for a moment.
As he got up, through bleary eyes he saw Matt say, ""I am not lying you piece of dung!"
This time, Alex didn't agree with Matt's decision and sure enough, the next moment, Matt was flying across the bridge.
The Reman asked him once again and Matt refused. Next thing, Matt had been shot through the stomach. He crumpled to the floor and Alex ran to him.
He went to get a medkit and the Reman pointed his disruptor at him.
"Let me help him!" shouted Johnson.
The Reman shrugged and said, "He will die anyway."
Johnson took this as a yes and got the emergency medkit from one of the wall compartments.
He ran back to Matt and pulled off his shirt and jacket. There was a large wound in his stomach. Alex scanned him and it didn't look good.
"Admiral, if we don't get him to sickbay soon, he's going to die!" said Johnson.

Talis turned and shot a toothy grin at the furious doctor. "Why, surely you can work magic?" he sneered, "you will, for now, treat him with whatever means you have on you. And I do believe that is a field med kit lying overthere in the corner." He pointed at a small metallic object, that indeed appeared to be a medkit.
Rayna, rubbing her wrists to get circultion going again, dashed for the object, and handed it to Billi. "Tell me what to do," she offered, "I may not be a trained nurse, but I've got capable hands." She rubbed her hands together, and fingered the rod hanging from her neck. "Ooh when I get my hands on him!"

OFF well, i guess i need to back post a bit
on.
Daya's mind had been to busy to register that the admiral did not answer his comm. He by now was looking around the room he was in and started thinking about possible reasons.
Daya went back to the ambassador's side to talk with him, "Can you tell me what happened?" he asked as he leaned over him, listening to his reply, Daya jumped up and headed towards a wall console. "computer, show me the bridge" The computer chimed and showed him a camera footage of the bridge, seeing that only the senior staff on duty were on the bridge, the admiral and commanders matthew, and reynolds were gone.
"Something is not right here" Daya said as he looked at the picture. Daya tried to send a subspace message out to the nearest ship, but he was unable. "Damn, Reynolds must have shut down the communications. Guess its all up to us"
