"Lots of political missions, " Lise said to Isildur. "Well yeah," he answered. "But they are exciting though, it requires some intelligence to solve the problems well."
They both walked to observation lounged to be briefed. The other senior officers were already present and Isildur and Lise went quickly to their chairs.
"Now that we are all present here, I want to start with the mission briefing, " Weill said. "Admiral Jefferson was kidnapped yesterday with a crewman when he was transported with a shuttle to a nearby solar system. The last contact his shuttle had was when passing New Scotland Colony."
Majeski walked to a screen on the wall and activated it. It showed a map of that part of space. "They didn't find out where he exactly was captured, but the people there believe he was captured by the Vadkin. The sometimes hijack ships for their supplies and technology, most of the times they don't kill. Sometimes they wish to make a statement by murdering someone."
"We don't know why thay kidnapped him nor what their intentions are. We will arrive in four hours. Mister Khorne, you are going to find out where the shuttle went by their signatures. Mister G'Kar and Zanex, work with Lieutenant Khorne and see what you can find out about the Vadkin, their shipts, weaponry, etc. Lise and Isildur, find out as much as you can about their culture, and their behavior. " Weill ordered. "Any questions?"
It remained quiet.
"Dismissed"

The staff did ask any questions and the mission seemed quite clear, so while stood up
Weill: " Dismissed"
He than walked out and around to the centre chair
Weill: " You have the bridge Commander"
Majeski: " Aye sir"
Weill: " Though i do want you to come in to my ready room in 10 minutes"
Weill walked into his around to the ready room and sat at his desk, it was still quite new to him to have the ready room and he than turned his console on and looked at the screen, he typed in Vadkin, a list of files came up.
CONTACT STARFLEET SECURITY, and a sign which made Weill run cold, it was the sign of the Intelligence service, one he had, had dealing before
Weill: " Computer put a secure communication through to Rear Admiral Preston"
The face came up
Preston: " Why were you looking up the Vadkin"
Weill: " Admiral Jefferson has been kidnapped and we need to retrieve him from them"
Preston: " Well good luck, i will send all data but dont let your crew meet the Vadkin"
Weill: " I may need to send an away team,
Preston: "well if you do than make sure they are heavily armed and dont let them talk to them"
Weill: " Why?"
Preston: "cannot say, just dont mention any of this to the crew, Preston out"
The channel closed and a chime called
Weill: " Come in and sit down"
Majeski: " Thankyou sir"

" Dismissed," Captain Weill said. Isildur nodded to Lise. "Guess we're going to be working together again," Isildur said to Lise as the left the lounge. "So tell me more about your spieces," Lise inquired. Isildur smiled at the comment she had been suprised at his morphing capabilities even though he had only demorphed into his andalite form. "Andalites are an old race. We have technology that allows us to morph into any living thing that has DNA that has been aquired. Not like the changlings," he added for good measure. "Can you show me?" she asked. Isildur nodded and began to demorph in to his andalite self. He than changed into a eagle. <See. I aquired the DNA of this eagle while I was on earth,> he said in thought speak. Moments later he was in human form. They headed for the bridge to get the information they required.

BY ALEX DIXON
Commander G'Kar looked down at his station as an unexpected warning chime sounded. "Sir, incoming message from Starbase Conqueror."
Captain Weill raised his eyebrows. "On screen, Commander."
The starfield on the main view was replaced by the face of a young lieutenant, apparently in his quarters. "Captain Weill, my name is Lt. Alex Dixon and I have just been assigned to the Raven as your Chief Science officer. I am presently aboard Starbase Conqueror and am attempting to arrange transport to you. Also, Ensign Chappell, your new Engineering officer is here as well. I imagine that we will head out together."
Captain Weill stood up from his command chair. "I am aware that you have been assigned to the Raven, Lieutenant. Congratulations on your promotion. I haven't heard of many cadets that were instantly promoted to full Lieutenant upon graduation. You must have done an outstanding job aboard the Hepta."
The newly minted lieutenant nodded. "Thank you sir."
Well, lieutenant" Captain Weill continued "we have just be given a new mission. We are on our way to the New Scotland Colony. I would suggest that you ask Starbase Operations that you and Cadet Chappell be brought here on a runabout rather than waiting for a standard transport. We would like to have you here sooner rather than later."
"Yes, sir. I will contact Starbase Operations immediately." Alex paused for a second. "Sir, could you send me an update of the Raven's current mission profile. I would like to be up to date when I get there, and I am sure Chappell would like that as well."
Captain Weill nodded appreciatively. At least his two new officers wouldn't be starting from complete scratch. "An excellent idea, Lieutenant. I will have our mission parameters sent to you immediately."
Thank you sir. Dixon out" Alex replied.
The viewer returned to showing the starfield around the USS Raven. Captain Weill returned to his command chair while nodding at his Tactical officer. G'Kar nodded back and sent a copy of their present mission parameters to Starbase Conqueror.

BY ALEX DIXON (ALL missions posts here, weather you are on or off the USS Raven)
Alex Dixon and Josh Chappell waited in shuttle bay 4 as the USS Yukon runabout docked. The main door opened and a fast stream of Starfleet personel and a few civilians disembarked. The last off was a tired looking pilot and co-pilot. A maintenance crew was already running diagnostics and refuelling as they boarded. As they were stowing their gear, two Ensigns a human and a Klingon, boarded the shuttle as well.
"Sir" the first human said, speaking to Lt. Dixon, "Ensign Baran, pilot. This is my co-pilot Ensign Tosh. My flight plan shows that I am taking you and Ensign Chappell to rendezvous with the USS Raven at New Scotland Colony. Is this correct?"
"Yes, Ensign. And we're both anxious to get to our ship. How soon can you get underway?" Dixon asked quickly.
"As soon as the ground crew refuels and clears the Yukon. Continue to stow your gear while Tosh and I go through our preflight sequence." The two ensigns took their seats at the controls and busied themselves with preparing the Yukon for flight.
Josh finished stowing his gear first, then turned to help Alex put his away. "I can't wait to get to the Raven, Alex. I hear that Luke is already aboard the Olympia as Chief Engineer and having the time of his life!"
"Yeah, I got a message from him today as well. I'm glad that he's so happy" replied Alex, with some regret in his voice. He missed his friend. Although, he wondered how long it would take Luke to eject the warp core from the Olympia. The thought made him smile a little.
Alex heard the sounds of footsteps behind him. Turning, he saw Ensign Tosh. "Lieutenant, Ensign. The Yukon has cleared preflight and is ready to lift off. Take your seats until we have cleared the Starbase. We will rendezvous with the Raven in approximately 4 hours" the Klingon said in a gravelly voice. He then returned to the bridge area as Josh and Alex sat down.
Digging into his carryall, Alex grabbed the PADD that he had downloaded the Raven's orders onto and started reading, noting that Ensign Chappell was doing the same.
After about an hour, Alex had finished reading the mission brief. Rescuing an Admiral. Interesting. Alex had never heard of the Vadkin, and there wasn't very much information about them in the brief. "Computer," Alex said, "ownload all available information regarding the Vadkin to my PADD."
"Information regarding the Vadkin restricted to personel having Alpha 2 clearance." That made Alex jump. He jumped again when he looked down and saw that the insignia for Starfleet Intelligence was being displayed on his PADD.
"Computer, do I have Alpha 2 clearance?" Alex inquired hopefully.
"Negative" replied the computer with a chilly voice.
"Computer, do I have Alpha 2 clearance?" Josh piped up.
"Negative" the computer replied in an even colder voice.
The two new officers grinned foolishly at each other. Alex didn't even know what was required to get Alpha 2 clearance. His smile was tinged with worry though. What was so dangerous about the Vadkin?
OOC Sorry Josh, I'm kidnapping you.

Alex was catching a quick nap when he heard the voice of the pilot, Ensign Baran. "Excuse me, Lieutenant, but we are within visual range of the Raven. Could you come to the bridge please."
Jumping up excitedly, Alex and Josh rushed up to the bridge area and looked out the windows. A distant bright speck quickly resolved itself to the huge shape of a Sovreign class starship, the USS Raven. Alex had never seen this class of ship before, and was surprised by how big it truly was. He hoped that he would have the ability to do some good things while he was aboard.
As the two of them stared at the ship, Ensign Tosh opened a channel to the Raven. "USS Yukon to USS Raven, we have two officers aboard who are transferring to the Raven."
"Yes, Yukon. We are ready to receive the new officers. Did you need to dock or do you have to return to Conqueror?" the Raven replied.
Ensign Baran cut in. "We would love to dock and stay awhile, Raven, but we have a lot of stops to make while we are in the system. Some other time, maybe."
"Very well, Yukon. We will beam the two officers directly. Raven out." Ensign Baran turned to Alex and Josh. "They are going to beam you over directly, please go back to the crew area and I will send the coordinates of you and your gear to the Raven."
"Alright, Ensign, thanks for the lift. " Alex replied, and the two of them headed back into the runabout. Once they had arrived, Alex opened a channel. "Lt. Dixon to Raven, Ensign Chappell and I are ready. Energize when ready."
"Received, Lieutenant. Stand by" There was a brief pause, then the shuttle faded into a grey mist which was replaced by the Raven's transporter room. A Chief manned the console.
"Welcome aboard sirs" he said. "I have taken the liberty of beaming your equipment directly to your quarters. The captain is on the bridge right now if you want to report in."
"That's probably a good idea. Thank you Chief" replied Alex.
Josh and Alex left the transporter room and made their way to the bridge.

Alex and Josh heaved a double sigh as the turbolift approached the bridge. They were reporting for their first positions as full Starfleet officers and both were quite nervous, although neither would admit it. The trip from the transporter room to the bridge seemed to take no time at all and then the doors slid open.
The two stepped off and looked around the expansive bridge of the Raven. It was very quiet, although there were about 10 people here. Alex and Josh went over to the command chair, where a Commander sat. As they approached, he stood up and said "Hello Lieutenant, Ensign. My name is Chris Majesky and I am the First Officer aboard the Raven. Welcome aboard."
Both Alex and Josh stood to attention and said "Thank you, sir" in unison.
"Well," continued Majesky, "the captain would like to see you both separately. He is in his ready room. Lieutenant Dixon, why don't you go in first while I show Ensign Chappell around the bridge."
"Yes sir" the two of them said in unison again, and Majesky raised an eyebrow, then shook his head.
"This way please, Mr. Chappell." Majesky and Chappell headed towards the Engineering console while Alex walked over to the door of the Captain's Ready Room and rang the chime. At the sound of the word "Enter" from within, Alex took another deep breath and walked in...

Weill: " Take your station and keep you eyes open, dismissed"
The Lt turned around and walked towards the door

Lieutenant Dixon walked back out of the Captain's Ready Room, more relaxed than he had been when he went in. Josh and Commander Majesky were standing at the door already and Josh entered through the open door.
"Well, Lieutenant, I guess that it's your turn for a fast tour." The Commander turned and walked up the ramp, leaving Alex no choice but to follow. Majesky walked to the Science 1 station. "Here are the stations that you will be occupying while you are on the bridge. Configure them any way that you prefer. The Raven just left spacedock after a major refit and there are some bugs in the systems that you and your staff will need to work out." Alex nodded calmly. Any bugs a newly refitted ship might have would seem pretty tame compared to what he had just been through aboard the Hepta.
"Sir, when are we supposed to reach New Scotland Colony?" Alex inquired.
"We should be there in a few hours" Majesky replied. "I trust that you are somewhat familiar with our mission?"
"Yes sir. I have read the briefing that Captain Weill sent to me while I was aboard the Conqueror. I imagine that you will want some input as to how to track the signatures of the shuttle that Admiral Jefferson was aboard" Alex stated.
Majesky nodded. Sharp.
"All right sir. I should talk to the Science Section heads and see where things stand aboard ship." Alex paused. He was going to leave the bridge, but Majesky looked decidedly uncomfortable all of a sudden. "Is there a problem, sir?" Dixon inquired.
"Well, Lieutenant. The problem is that there are no section heads right now." Majesky paused as Alex's eyes widened a little. "Yes, unfortunately, as I said, the Raven was in spacedock and much of our Science staff are newly posted. The last Science officer, Khorne, wasn't here very long and never had a chance to organize the Science departments before he transferred to the USS Victory. Also, apparently the present department heads aren't getting along very well with one another."
Alex's surprise must have shown clearly on his face. They weren't getting along. His first posting wasn't sounding like very much fun at all.
"Well, then. I guess that I had best call a meeting of the department heads and their assistants to see how they are in person. May I use the conference room on the bridge, sir?" Alex asked.
Majesky continued to look uncomfortable. "I would say yes, Lieutenant, but it would be a tight squeeze. You have almost 30 department heads. If you include the assistants, that would include almost 60. I would suggest that you use a holodeck."
Alex sighed. Almost 60 science personel who weren't getting along, all in a single room. Perhaps he should invite Security as well.
"Well, commander, there's no time like the present. Could you contact all departments and tell them that there will be a meeting in Holodeck 1 at 1500 hours? And send me a list of the bugs that the ship has so that I can start handing out assignments."
The commander nodded and Alex stepped around him and went to the turbolift. He wanted to get to his quarters and examine the personel records of all of the Science staff to see what he was dealing with.
Commander Majesky looked after the young cadet. It must be nice to be young and confident. He turned to Commander G'Kar. "G'Kar, inform the Science department heads and their assistants that there will be a meeting at 1500 hours. And have some extra security near Holodeck 1 around that time too, just in case."
"Yes, sir" G'Kar replied.

Weill: " Mr Chappel i am afraid we cant spare the time at the moment for the tests we have an Admiral to save but if you can impliment them on the move that would be fine, the chnages from the academy would be great"
Chappel: " Yes sir i will do it now"
The ship cut through space, it was quite a distance to the New Scotland Colony, Weill looked up Admiral Jeffersons record, he had not dont very much, he had been a starbase man most of his life, no wonder Weill hadnt heard of him he had also been away from earth for 14 years.
Weill though Lets get out of this office, he had been cooped up there and he wanted to wander a bit, he got and walked around his desk and than went through the door to the bridge, the Commander was sitting in the CO seat directing operations, Weill moved right to the turbolift and he went to the engenering deck He saw the new Ensign next to the operations table
Weill: Ah Mr Chappell, found everything?"
Chappell: " Captain........ yes thankyou, is there anything i can do for you"
Weill: " No thankyou just walking about the decks"
He than went up the lift near the warp corse to the upper level, walked to the jefferies tube and crawled into one, he crawled through the space and until he got to a junction, looked side to side and than went through the tube on the right than next junction, he went up. He knoeck the panet at the end and it released,
Isildur: "Captain!"
Weill: " Ah Counsellor, sorry to frighten you, just gone for a wander around"
Isildur: " Yes sir, i am just on my way to sickbay to discuss the medical care on this ship, i need to co-ordinate with her"
Weill: " Yes of course, glad to see you are setterling in"
Weill than continued round the the lounge, a large space with a space for a band and the bar, a man came up and asked what he would like to eat/ drink, he declined he just walked through and than went through the other side.
Just as he came out he than strolled round and saw a group of Ensigns they snapped to attentio on seeing him, he walked into his quarters and tapped his comm badge
Weill: " Commander Majeski, can yout take over, call me when we arrive at the New Scotland Colony"
Majeski: " Aye sir"
He sat back in his chair and asked the computer to put on a recording of Schuberts Winterreise, a favorite of his.........

The Raven was heading for New Scotland fast. Multiple ships were flying around, noone hailed them.
"Start working on finding that signature of the shuttle" Weill ordered. "Aye sir, " Dixan responded. He left the bridge and went for the science department.
"Captain, we are hailed." the COO said. "Open a channel, " Weill replied. A friendly looking man appeared on the view screen. "Good day to you, I am Wan Sung, the leader of this settlement. We don't see Federation ships often around here." "I am Captain Guss Weill of the USS Raven. We are here for some investigations." "Tell me how I can help you." Sung answered.
Weill told the story in a summarised form.
The mans face looked worried. "We try not to interfere to much with the other culture's living in this system. There is a lot of piratry. We can sustain our selves, we don't need to trade with other planets. Also we are well armed against any attacks." Weill nodded. "Therefor, " the man resumed, " we don't know much about what is going on in this system."
"Maybe youhave sensorlogs who passed here." Weill suggested.
Sung nodded. "We will send them to you. Goodday Captain." "Thanks for your cooperation," Weill replied.

OOC: Sorry, this post is a little long...
Alex sat in his new quarters as he feverishly prepared for the first meeting with his science staff. All of his possessions that had been beamed over from the runabout still sat in their containers as he hadn't had time to unpack.
He was going through the personel jackets, trying to familiarize himself with faces, names and specialties of the people under his command. Alex had received the list of required repairs from Captain Weill, but decided that he didn't have time to go through and assign each one. He had gotten the computer to give the repairs to the most appropriate people, and had taken a look at it when it was done. It looked alright.
Too quickly, it was time to leave. Alex gathered up his notes and PADDs with the various assignments and left for the meeting. He spent his time on the way worrying about how he would be received. Some of the people had far more experience than he did. The only good thing was that there was no one higher than Junior Lieutenant. He also worried about how they were not getting along, according to Commander Majesky.
Alex was at the door of Holodeck 1. He noted that there were a few Security people standing around, but thought nothing of it. Taking a large breath, he walked into the room.
Every one there turned as Alex walked to the head of the table, sat down and said "Good afternoon everyone. My name is Alex Dixon and I am the new Chief Science Officer. If everyone is here, I would like to begin." Those who had been standing took their seats.
The room had an uncomfortable air to Alex. There was a preliminary round of introductions. Then Alex had each department head briefly go through the present list of research that was going on aboard ship. Alex wasn't very impressed, although he was surprised at the presence of a Cybernetics lab aboard ship. Such installations were usually found aboard Starbases, due to the demand for specialized materials and computers.
Then Alex got to the real problem. "Now I would like to know why there is such a long list of uncompleted repairs to the sensors and other scientific equipment aboard the Raven." There was a long uncomfortable silence in the room. Alex continued. "For example, the primary data line for the main sensors is out of alignment." The silence continued until Lt. Ati, an Orion planetary scientist said "I have been trying to get someone from Astrophysics to fix it, but they have refused."
This statement set off a heated exchange betwen several beings seated around the table while Alex listened carefully and noted who the worst offenders were. He heard that one department had been trying to order another to do the work, while they had refused. In other words, there was disagreement as there was no Chief Science Officer and everyone was trying to do the job. Which resulted in no work getting done.
Well, there was a Chief Science Officer now, and Alex realized that if he didn't get control of this meeting in the next minute or two, he would lose control for the entire time he was here. However, he didn't want to start yelling at them, his voice would just be lost. Besides, they weren't listening to each other anyway. Alex needed a fast way to make them listen.
Alex leaned down and said "Computer, record all conversations in Holodeck 1 for 30 seconds, then playback in a continuous loop at a volume of 40 decibels until I give the command. Lock out holodeck functions to my authorization code, and create a set of earplugs."
Two ensigns were sitting near Alex, but couldn't hear what he was saying over the arguing voices, but were very curious when the earplugs materialized and the lieutenant put them into his ears.
The new noise started quietly, but quickly became very loud. The people in the room looked up when they heard it, then quickly covered their ears. Several started yelling at the computer to stop the noise, but of course Alex had locked out the controls. Alex let them have it for a few more seconds, stood up, then said "Computer, cease playback" and removed his earplugs slowly and stood up.
For the first time since he had walked in the door, the Chief Science Officer had the full attention of everyone in the room. Alex kept quiet for a few seconds to let the silence sink in, then began to speak. "That was a recording of you arguing. If I hear anything like it again, I will demote, then transfer anyone I catch doing it. This is a meeting of Federation Science personel, not a Merchants Council on Ferengenar." Several faces around the table colored at that comparison.
"There is no longer a need for any of you to decide who will be conducting research or repairs. That's my job. Yours is to follow my orders. Here is the list of repairs and upgrades that need to be completed aboard the Raven and who is doing them. These must be completed before we reach New Scotland Colony and begin our mission to locate Admiral Jefferson."
"We don't have much information on the Vadkin. Essentially, all we know is that they are a pirate group. However, they must have ships and perhaps a base somewhere. I would like Stellar Cartography to go over the Federation database for the sector and find every planet, asteroid or anomaly that might be able to hide a ship or base. Planetary Sciences, I want you to examine the cultural database of every planet in the sector and look for incidences of ship disappearances or attacks that might be attributable to the pirates, then cross reference it with the list Stellar Cartography has and see if there are any commonalities.
"Are there any questions?" The silence around the table continued.
"Dismissed." Alex sat and began to gather his things as the others slowly filed out of the room. After the last person left, Alex collapsed into his chair and breathed a huge sigh. That hadn't been how he wanted his first meeting to go, but there didn't seem to be another way. Not only was discipline lax, but morale was low. That was a very bad combination.

The reports had come through from the New Scotland Colony, a nice little place with a tight nit community.
Weill :" Well we have the information now we can start hypothesising, any thoughts Mr Majeski"
Majeski: " Well it appears they have gone through the asteroid belt"
Weill: " Well their ships may be able to do that but ours cant, but we have got some craft that can, Mr Majeski, take the Delta Flyer Class Hawk and follow the trail, but do not engage, we cant take that risk espcially with the Admirals life"
Majeski: " Aye sir, Mr G'Kar, Mr Dixon your with me"
G'Kar: " Aye sir"
Dixon: " Me sir?"
Majeski: " Yes you, you have got advanced flight training"
Dixon: " Yes sir"
The Hawk left and went through the dense field, it swerved left to right and
Weill: "CONN set course for the other side of the field, get there as fast as possible"
The ship went to warp

Isildur walked into sickbay. Lise smiled when he entered. " Counsler I was not expecting you," she said as he walked up to her. "I know you are busy but we have work to do with our mision," he said as he handed her the PADD he was holding. "Computer activate EMH program," she said as she left sickbay with the young Andalite.

Alex was heading to Stellar Cartography as ordered when his badge chirped and the voice of Commander Majesky sounded. "Mr. Dixon, report to Shuttle Bay 1."
"Me, sir?" Alex answered.
Majesky sounded impatient. "Yes you, you have got advanced flight training"
"Yes, sir." Alex changed the destination of the turbolift and was waiting when Majesky and G'Kar arrived.
The three of them immediately boarded the shuttle. Alex took the helm, while Majesky and G'Kar took the command chair and tactical respectively. Alex tapped the controls and the Flyer swooped out of the bay and towards the asteroid belt. Alex spent a few seconds retuning the sensors to search more specifically for the missing shuttle's signature and immediately got a reading. Alex pointed it out to Majesky and he ordered the shuttle to follow the trace. Alex plunged the shuttle into the belt.
Alex had to slow as the numbers of asteroids increased. The sensors beeped a warning and Alex looked down. "Commander, there is a large concentration of refined metals on that asteroid at 215.6."
Majesky and G'Kar took a look at the readouts. "It would appear to be what might be left if a Federation shuttle had crash landed." G'Kar said.
"Take us in for a closer look, Lieutenant" Majesky ordered. Alex flew the ship closer to the asteroid. The crumpled remains of a Federation shuttle sat in an impact crater. Alex hovered over the site.
"G'Kar, do a complete scan of the shuttle" Majesky sighed. It seemed that they had already come to the end of the mission.
"Yes, sir." G'Kar took a long scan of the shuttle. "It is definitely the Admirals shuttle. However, there are no biological components aboard. It would seem that the Admiral and pilot were not aboard when it crashed."
"Sir, I am getting indications of an ion trail leaving the area, heading 248.65. Vessel type unknown" Lt. Dixon reported.
"Hmm, the trail gets a little more twisted. G'Kar, attach a tractor beam to the shuttle. Perhaps our new Engineer can get some information out the memory banks. Lieutenant, prepare to take the shuttle in tow and follow the new trail" Majesky ordered.
"Yes, sir" Alex responded.

The Shuttle had got a lot of good information and the The USS Raven had reached the other side of the asteroid field. The ship had moved quickly but it also made sure it had scanned the whole area on its way around.
Weill: " Open a channel to USS Hawk"
The face of the Commander came up, he was looking at the console and than he looked up, you could see some metal in the back ground on the indoor sensor bay
Weill: " Any luck?"
Majeski: " Yes sir, we have found the Admirals shuttle, but we havnt found him, from our scans it appears that he wasnt on the vessel when it crashed"
Weill: " Good, can you get take the shuttle after the one ion trail and the USS Raven will go fater the larger of the two, we just need to make sure we keep tabs on both"
Majeski: "Yes sir, can you send some torpedoes over we only have a limited number"
Weill: "Yes of course, but can you also send over all sensosr information"
Majeski: " Yes sir"
Thebface vanished and the transporter room beamed over the micro torpedoes, the ship than moved off alog the path of the one ion trail
Weill: " CONN follow the other ion trail"

Captain Weill I've had some problems there seems to be a problem. Tho the upgrades are making the ship faster. The ship will need some kind of cloack or the system or upgrade will shut down. There isn't a big hurry tho I would like to fix it up first. It'll take 10 to 15 mins and the Warp will still be online. OFF: I may be out of of order or time so I'll just try to make posts ok?

"This seems to be the most recent is from Stardate 891018," Lise said as she started going over the records with Isildur. "The information states that on that date a young Lieutenant named Olgran Giesbaa mutinied and took command of the fleet," Isildur said with a moderate sense of sadness. "Olgran Giesbaa. Where have I heard that name before?" Isildur asked himself once he recognised the name.

Alex carefully positioned the USS Hawk over the site of the kidnapped Admirals shuttle. Commander G'Kar targeted the shuttle on the viewers and then activated the tractor beam. Alex then used the thrusters to lift the damaged ship off of the asteroid and set course to follow the new ion trail. Majesky then ordered the shuttle to pursue the new iion trail
The mysterious ion remains meandered through the asteroid field, making some very odd changes and sudden turns on occasion, almost as if whoever had been piloting were trying to shake off any potential pursuit. However, the Flyers sensors were top of the line and were able to follow the trail through the field. There were even a few occasions where the trail disappeared, almost as if the other pilot had let the ship coast. However, no one could do that long in an asteroid field and the trail was found again.
Alex was starting to sweat a little in the pilots chair. It was hard enough piloting inside an asteroid field, but the shuttle that they were towing was making the Flyer difficult to maneuver.
G'Kar suddenly said "Sir, lateral sensors picking up another ship in the asteroids!"
Majesky sat up in his chair."Identify her!"
"The ship has slipped in behind the asteroid at 174 mark 9" G'Kar replied in an excited voice.
"Mr. Dixon, plot an intercept course. G'Kar, activate the weapons and put the shields to full" Majesky ordered.
Alex carefully but quickly moved the Hawk over the top of the asteroid to give G'Kar a better field of fire should it be needed. Cresting the asteroid, the three of them saw a dilapidated ship about 3 times the size of the Hawk. The ship awkwardly turned and tried to run, but quickly saw that it would be overtaken by the Hawk.
"Tactical analysis, G'Kar" Majesky said.
After examining the readouts, G'Kar reported "The ship is not emitting a transponder code. She reads as a heavily modified freighter of Andorian make, four Andorians aboard. No humans. One shield generator and one phaser bank, Type C, both of which are activated. The ship is not a threat to the Hawk. It is also not the source of the ion trail that we are presently following."
Majesky thought for a second, then said "Hail them, Mr. Dixon." Alex opened a channel.
"This is Commander Majesky of the USS Hawk. We mean you no harm. We are presently searching for a ship that has passed this way. Please respond."
There was a long pause, then an Andorian face appeared on the main viewer. "This is the freighter Galan. She is my ship. My family and I mine this belt for ore to sell at New Scotland Colony. We are no harm to anyone. What is it that you want?"
"We are seeking a ship that may have passed this way in the last while. Did you happen to see anything?" Majesky questioned.
A slightly sly expression crossed the Andorians' face. "Maybe. We know this field very well and know how to hide and see. What will you give us for information that we might have?"
Majesky shifted in his seat. "What is it that you want?"
The Andorians face turned unhappy. "We have found indications of a large deposit of duranium ore in the area, but we are running short of supplies. If your ship can supply us with 2 weeks of food and water, I will send you information regarding the ship that passed here not long ago."
Majesky did not hesitate. "Deal. Commander, see to it."
A few minutes later, the required supplies had been sent to the Andorian ore miner. In return, the Andorians sent them a short clip of their sensor logs. It showed a small shuttle of unfamiliar make manuevering through the asteroid field. The time index showed that it had passed through about 10 hours before. There was no readout of passengers, but it did emit the ion trail that they were following.
The three of them watched the recording a few times. "Well, that seems to be it. Lt. Dixon, resume the pursuit."
"Aye sir" Alex replied.

After the discussion with the Freighter Commander Majeski followed the Ion trail, the Raven had followed the other ion trail.
OPPS Ensign: "Sir, there is a ship calling for assistance"
Weill: " CONN pursuit course......... engage, can you get a channel"
OPPS Ensign: "No sorry sir, the signal has been broken"
CONN Ensign: " Sir we are coming into range"
Weill: "Red alert, Doctor, Counsellor will you come to the bridge"
Within minutes, the Raven had come along side the vessel, the Doctor and Counsellor had come to the bridge.
Weill: " Doctor you have away team training can you lead the team, as i am a bit short on officers, take a security team with you and also the Mr Chappell, Counsellor, theses people are the Cardassians, as you know they can be difficult i think we will need your help"
Lise: " I will be in the transporter room"
Isildur: " Yes sir, they can be trying"
Weill: " We will have a lock on you, can you download there databanks and also of course get causualties" back here"
The team transported over, the CEO went to the computers to get information, the Docotr took overall charge and also took charge of the casualties.
OFF: You are all doing great, you have a free hand weather on the Hawk or on the Away team.

The USS Hawk with shuttle in tow slowly left the freighter Galan behind. Alex kept his eye on the sensors as he found the ion trail and returned to the pursuit.
G'Kar and Majesky continued to examine the log information that they had obtained from the Galan. "You know, G'Kar," Majesky said "I don't recognize that ship, but she has a distinctly Federation design concept behind her. It sort of looks like a Flyer-Runabout hybrid to me."
"Yes, sir. I agree" G'Kar replied. "However, Starfleet has no way to control how others design the exterior of their shuttles."
Alex listened as the two senior officers discussed the similarity of the Vadkin shuttle they were looking for to Starfleet designs. He was abruptly reminded of his attempt to download information regarding the Vadkin from the Starfleet database and said aloud "Sir, information regarding the Vadkin has been classified Alpha 2 clearance by Starfleet Intelligence. Why is that?"
The conversation between Majesky and G'Kar ground to a sudden halt. The interior temperature of the shuttle seemed to drop ten degrees in the silence. Alex could feel their eyes boring into the back of his head. What had he gotten himself into this time?
"Where did you come across that piece of information, Lieutenant?" Majesky really managed to emphasize that last word.
"Uhh...I was doing some research into the Vadkin on the shuttle I took over from the Conqueror, sir" Alex replied with a slightly shaky voice. "The computer told me when I asked to download information regarding the Vadkin."
Majesky heaved a deep sigh and Alex heard him mutter something about computers under his breath. "I see, Lieutenant." The two commanders stopped talking about the design of the Vadkin shuttle and Alex continued to pilot the Hawk through the asteroid belt.
He could see that the asteroids were becoming less dense. They were coming to the edge at last.
Suddenly, G'Kar said "Sir, incoming message from the Raven."
Majesky activated his viewer and Captain Weill's face appeared. "Commander, we are presently rendering assistance to a stranded Cardassian vessel. Maintain your pursuit of your ion trail and we will join you as soon as possible. Weill out."
"Yes, sir" Majesky replied. "Well, you heard him Lieutenant. Continue the pursuit."
