Crew,
We have a special guest joining us on this mission Admiral Jack W. Clark and his Executive Officer Lieutenant Commander Gary Burgess, I am certain that you all greet them with the pleasure that i do and thank them for making the effort to serve with us. Also we have a new Acting CTSO O'Connor as he will be serving with us also, welcome aboard...
Now the situation is simple thus far, we are to repair the vessel until the Admiral and his staff are ready dor transport, and while at the strabse please all department heads make sure you have forfilled your duties espcially the CEO repairing the vessel.
Once the Admiral and his staff have arrived we must take him to a set of coordinates, we are not privy to the details yet as this has come from the top, from the Head of Starfleet Command herself.
Just get the ship repaired and your departments ready for anything.
Dismissed
OFF: Please dont post the Admirals arrival, until they post there arrival we are getting ready.

Wel, that was new, Lise thought to her self. A mission we don't hear about till the Admiral arrived, and what an admiral. Jack W. Clarke, back on the Raven... The Raven had been her first assignment with Jack W. Clarke as Captain. Not that it would be like the old days, but it would recall a lot of memories seeing Clarke again.

Isildur was not sure how to respond. He had heard of Garry Burges through his friend Spedmo who was friends with a person on the Black Tulip. He had also heard of Admiral Clark. The andalite buisied himself trying to recieve reports from his station. He also set appointments with officers who wanted to be counselled after the last mission. He wasn't even aware of a message from his home.

The docking procedure has finished and Weill thought he better check all departments were doing what we they had to. He walked out of his quarters and down the corridor he saw Lt Dixon walk towards him
Dixon: "Sir the spare parts will be arriving soon and there are some minor upgrades, just to get rid of gliches, but the security on the station wont let it through"
Weill: "Why?"
Dixon: "They say we need to have advaced clearance"
Weill: " Ok i will clear it with them, i will get it sent to your office"
Than he walked a little further and he had the Docotr rush towards hm
Lise: "Sir we are running low on some medical supplies and espcially with the Counselor there are some medecines we will need to stock up on, can you authorise a new storage room"
Weill: " Yes partition room 14 deck 5 and have that"
He than strode into engineering and saw everyone was hard at work, the panels were open and the CEO was leaning under a panel
Weill: "Report Mr Chappell"
Chappell: "Well we are installing thing to get risd of gliches but the repairs may take longer"
Weill: " You have 24 hours to get us ready for action"
He than walked round the corner, when he got there he slipped into a turbolift.
OFF: I was thinking, the last mission was very condensed, i was thinking tha all of us miss a persoanl life on the Raven, you know girlfriends/boyfriends and quaretrs, i was thinking when traverling etc and moving from one place to another, post about things like that, you know getting home and what you do, or going out to the lounge with your friends. TRY it out see what you think.

James arrived on the ship and went straight to the Bridge. He had to report in to his new Captain, Captain Weill. The turbolift doors slid open and James stepped onto the Bridge. Captain, Ensign James O'Connor reporting for duty sir.
James had just been welcomed by his CO and was on his way to his new quarters. He was very very glad to finally have a permanent place to live. He opened the doors to his quarters and saw that his belongings had already been brought there. He started unpacking.
The first thing he did was erect the forcefield a fellow Cadet had designed back at the Academy to keep his music from being heard all over the ship. He pushed a data strip with his favourite music (an old Terran group from the 20th century called Queen) in his music player and the music thundered through his quarters, while James screamed along at the top of his lungs and unpacked his books, clothes, hung up some pictures and plugged in his coffee machine. He had given up trying to get a decent cup of coffee from the replicator (Damn! he hated those things) and made his coffee manually with some help from the coffee machine (specially replicated by the same guy who designed the forcefield, after old 20th century Terran design).
It took about an hour and a half, but then his quarters were just the way he liked them. A real home.
He made a hot cup of coffee, turned off the music, took Shakespeare's Twelfth Night from the bookshelf, sat down in his favourite easy chair and started reading. Satisfied in his own quarters, knowing he wouldn't have to move again for a long time. This is life!
After reading for about an hour, James decided it was about time he met his fellow crewmates. He put the book back on the shelf and walked out of his quarters to the mess hall. He entered the mess hall, ordered a cup of coffee and took a seat, observing the crew who were already enjoying themselves there.

Alex sat in the conference room on Deck 6 with his Section heads. They had been discussing the ongoing repairs of the Raven's science systems as the ship approached Starbase Bellicose. Everything was going OK, except for the repairs to the Cybernetics lab. It seemed to be that the lab was a complete write off, as the plasma conduit explosion had also started a plasma fire in the room which had been hot enough to consume the majority of active projects. There were computer backups of all the data, of course. But the actual completed mechanisms were destroyed.
The work of Ensign Karran had been particulary hard hit. He had been attempting to create a sub microscopic medical instrument that could be directed by a doctor using a neural headset. In theory, the device could be introduced into the bloodstream of a patient and directed by the mind of the doctor toward an injury using the neural headset. The doctor would also be able to see the injury as the device had a complicated series of sensors. It was a triumph of micro engineering.
Unfortunately, excess materials and the prototype had been destroyed in the fire, just as it was being readied for testing. The Ensign was devastated.
"So, what can we do for Ensign Karran?" Alex asked his section heads.
The head of Biological Sciences, Lt. Ruten answered. "The ensign needs complete replacement of all equipment and materials. The testing was supposed to take place on Starbase 169 in two weeks. Some very hard to schedule people were to be in attendance. If he isn't ready, there's no telling how long testing will be delayed. Most importantly, he needs qualified people to help him. The materials and equipment are relatively easy to replace, the hours aren't."
Alex spoke again. "I have already ordered replacement materials and equipment for the ensigns project and the Captain is hurrying them through Starbase Security. Finding the help he needs is a different proposition. I have reviewed the ensigns work and he I doubt that there is anyone in the quadrant who can help him design the neural interface. He will have to work on that himself. That means that we will have to find some others in the Science section to help him."
Alex continued. "I'm pretty good with sensor repair and design, so I will work on that, but I could use some help. Lt. Quarel, I think that Ensign Col from Space Sciences would be a good assistant for me."
"But sir" the Ferengi spluttered "he's one of the best astronomers aboard the Raven and we already have a pile of work to do before the Admiral shows up!"
"We are all on the same ship, Mr. Quarel." Alex replied. "I can't even ask Engineering for help. They have even more work than we do."
"Umm, sir, may I say something?" Lt. Collaan asked quietly. Alex looked over surprise and nodded. It was the first time the B'Joran woman had spoken during the meeting. He was starting to wonder if he had made the right decision making her the head of Planetary Sciences.
"I have two ensigns in my section who are working on miniaturized probes for planetary exploration. Their idea is to deliver dozens of small probes to a single planet to take readings from all over. I think that they would be well qualified to rebuild the prototype medical instrument" she volunteered.
Alex nodded. That was more like it. He wanted his departments to be able to work together with a minimum of conflict.
"Thank you, Lt. Collaan." Alex turned to Lt. Ruten. "Well, I think that should be enough to get the project back on it's feet." Ruten nodded.
"Excellent. Please continue to send me regular status reports. Dismissed." The three sections heads gathered their data pads and left the conference room. Once they were gone, Alex shook his head.
They still weren't thinking as a team, just a bunch of unrelated science departments. He needed something to bring them together. Alex thought about home for a while. How had he met his friends? what had brought them together?
Alex's eyes widened. He had an idea...

Weill had met the new Acting CTSO, and he was impressed, he had a reputation as a fine officer, new but a valued member of any staff, Weill had read his record and there were all the usual shining appraisals which was a good sign, Weill was on his way to the station just to get some fresh space, Once he had boareded the station he was yet again amazed by its size, he went to a cafe and sat down
Weill: " Waiter!!"
Waiter: "Mousier?"
Weill: " Coffee please"
He than sat back and read the station news, the Admirals usual announcement of events and also the rota of starships and transport arriving, that section took nearly half of the whole document, he tha saw a young wormen
Weill: " Ouch!!!!!!!"
Jean Danier: " Thats for what you did last time"
Weill: " Nice to see you to"
Danier: " Ooooo sorry, wrong person"
Weill: "Dont worry"
Danier: "May i sit down"
Weill: "Please do, My name is Gus Weill by the way"
Danier: " my name is Danier.... Jean Danier"
Weill: " i know"
Danier: "How?"
Weill: "Your name tag, haha, you from a science vessel"
Danier: " Of course haha. yes i am a Scientist can do everything but love botany, studying species from all around the galaxy, your starfleet arnt you, which ship"
Weill: " USS Raven"
Danier: " That ship.............. wow thats big, we are still using one of the old Oberths, keep aflling to pieces but its a workhorse.. unfortunatley though it is being decommisioned,"

Alex had just finished contacting every member of the Science team abaord the Raven and invited them to The Banshee at 2100 hours for a drink to celebrate the end of their mission aboard the Raven. It was a very large bar that he had found aboard Starbase Bellicose that fulfilled some very specific criteria.
Alex quietly worked on Ensign Karran's project, then left and went to the main gangway between the Raven and the Starbase. His staff were there waiting for him and as a group they made their way into the Starbase.
Alex was occasionally questioned as to what the place they were going to was like, but Alex just repeated that it was a bar that he had liked the name of. Alex was getting fairly upbeat. His staff seemed to be in pretty good spirits, and some members of different departments were actually talking to one another. Things were better than they had been when he had first come aboard the Raven, they just needed something to bring them all together.
His group finally arrived at The Banshee and entered. The bar was very large and was still fairly empty as it was early. Alex directed his people to several large tables in the middle of the room and ordered two rounds to be brought by the staff.
Alex stood after the drinks were brought and raised his glass. "To the Raven. Let's make her the best ship in Delta Squadron." Everyone took a swig of their drinks, and several started coughing immediately. "By the way" Alex continued,"they don't serve synthahol here. Enjoy!" Alex then tossed back the rest of his drink, goading everyone else to do the same.
An hour later...
Alex's head was buzzing, but he was pretty cheerful about the way the evening was heading. His staff seemed to be putting aside their differences with the help of some comeraderie and alcohol. There had been a few more rounds delivered to the table and everyone seemed to be pretty happy.
The Banshee had filled up in the last few minutes, and there were a large number of intergalactic riff raff that had come here to drown their sorrows, including a large contingent that appeared to be from a single freighter. There had been a number of sidelong glances at the large contingent of Starfleet personel here, but nothing had happened yet.
As he watched, one of his Ensigns was making his way back from the restroom when he was stopped by three people from the freighter crew. Alex couldn't hear what was said, but the rest of the crew at the table started to laugh. Alex quickly made his way over.
"Excuse me gentlemen, but is there a problem?" Alex inquired calmly.
"Nah, no prob'em" one of the men slurred drunkenly "I was jus wonderin when Starfleet Academy started takin em out of the cradles!" The rest of the crew at this table laughed loudly.
"Perhaps it was when they realized what they would get if they took in old men like you" Alex replied quickly and without much thought. Thinking was not what was required here.
Chairs around this table scraped as they all stood up and glared at Alex. "You might want to take your bunch out of here, if I were you" the man grated.
Alex felt a presence behind him and looked around. Lt. Ruten, Collaan and a large number of his staff had come over and were staring at the standing humans.
Alex looked back and said "What happens if I don't?" Over the man's shoulder, Alex could see the bartender talking into a comm panel and the bar had gone very quiet.
Starbase Bellicose Security Office...
Lt. Commander D'Arnov looked over at his flashing alert panel, accessed the latest trouble call and shook his head. The Banshee again...
The Banshee...
Alex pushed himself up off of the floor and wiped the blood off of his mouth. He had been doing alright, but had been hit from behind and knocked down. Alex had turned over to look at his new attacker, who was about to hit him again. At that moment, two of his staff flew over the table and knocked the other crew man off of his feet.
Alex looked around at the confused melee. His table of science staff had all but cleared and were fighting with the freighter crew. There were several Klingons in the bar who had arranged their tables to get a front row view of the fight, and there were two Ferengi wandering around who seemed to be taking bets.
Alex stood up. At the other side of the table, two of the freighter crew were holding one of his staff while a third was preparing to give him a whack. Alex jumped the table and landed on two of them just as Security entered the establishment and started to break it up.

Weill was havign a drink with the women that had assaulted him, he was enjoying the off duty spirit and he was in a very good modd, the drink was fersh not the replicated stuff that he had been fobbed off with on starships
Suddenley There was an alert
<SECURITY REPRORT TO THE BAR>
Weill, just thought i am not ging to get involved it is my time off, he continued talking.
< Captain Weill report to the Security office>
Weill walked quickly and he got to the office i no time, he had taken the ladys name and address, as he had enjoyed talking to her, he walked in and saw a prison full of personnel, he walked towards the security chief
Security: " Captain, there was a fight, i guess you heard the siren"
Weill: " yes i did, whats this about"
Security: " there are some of your officers here"
Weill looked around and saw Dixon, he was very annoyed, he didnt hide the annoynace on his face
Security: " Will you authorise there release, to your custody, we will infor you of the charges later"
Weill: " Yes of course"
Weill sighned the papers and he tha walked out and he had asked the secutity officer to wait until he had authorised it fully.
Weill: " Mr O'Connor you first duty await, can you escourt the sections of the crew from the security on the station"
O'Connor: " on my way sir"
Weill stormed out he than got yet another call from the Captain of the assaulted officer. He walked directly to see him and he met him on the freighter. He transported onto a very dark and dingy ship which had panels colapsed all over the floor
Captain: " What the hell happened, i have a few officers in intensive care, i demand compensation for your officers actions"
Weill: " i can only apologise, for their actions and they will be dealt with accordingly"
Captain: " i demand compensation!!!!!!!"
While they had been talking Weill had noticed some containers from the Farragut, he remembered reports that they had been stolen
Weill: " Well shall put this behind us"
Captain: " i wont"
Weill: "You will, or i will arrest you right now for thoses containers, if we do compromise than i will leave now and wont inform the captain of the Farragut"
Captain: " Well in heiensight we will leave it, just dont let it happen again, you can go now"
Weill materialized back on the Raven and he went to his quarters just for a rest

As the reports where coming in that they was a bar fight in the Banshee one of the best bars on the base. Cmdr. Burgess started on his way down there to see what was really going on after entering the turobolift and stated deck 48 in a matter of sec. the doors openned and he could see security running toward the Bar. After entering the Bar he could see it a few members of the raven's crew and some other members that he hasn't seen before was being detained.
Cmdr. Burgess > lets all go to the security station and figure out what happened after entering security Capt. Weills entered
Capt. weills > whats going on in here
CSO > Sir the raven crew has stated that the fight started when the other members told them they had to leave the bar and they said no.
Cmdr. Burgess > since the Raven crew was protecting there self there will be no charges agains them take the other members to the Brig.
CSO > Aye sir
Cmdr. Burgess > Alex your luck this time i didn't have you and the Others took to the Brig as where.
Alex Dixon > Thank you sir
Cmdr. Burgess > Capt. Weills and everyone else have you and the others had a tour of the starbase yet if you havn't please come to the command deck later and where start the tour.
Alex Dixon > thank you sir
Cmdr. Burgess > just one thing when you enter turbolift 1 since its the only one that goes to the command deck state <your name and rank and i'll have you added so it will move.
Alex Dixon > thank you SIR

Alex stood at attention in the holodeck with the rest of the Science staff. Captain Weill stood in front of them, looking very angry.
"So, can anyone explain to me what happened at The Banshee?" he asked for the third time. Alex could have heard a pin drop.
Captain Weill wasn't nearly as angry as he appeared, but he was quite annoyed. Not only had a large number of his crew gotten into a brawl, but they seemed very cheerful, even somewhat proud of themselves. Weill had done some checking and had decided on exactly who the culprit was.
"I will decide on your punishment later. Company, dismissed." Weill ordered.
As the group quietly but somehow cheerfully made their way out of the room, Weill said "Mr. Dixon. Stay behind for a moment." The young lieutenant returned to where he had been standing and the door closed on several members of his staff who had looked back. Gus walked over to stand over Dixon.
"Mr. Dixon, I have been doing some checking. I understand that it was you who decided to go to that particular bar this evening. Is that correct?" the Captain inquired.
"Yes sir" Dixon replied evenly.
"Were you aware that The Banshee has the highest number of security breaches of any establishment on Starbase Bellicose?" said Weill.
"I had no idea, sir" Alex said innocently.
"Really? I checked the information access logs. Someone aboard ship sent a query to the security office on Bellicose asking that very question. How about the fact that the crew of that freighter is involved in a large number of incidents at that bar?" Weill grated.
"Really, sir?" Alex said, his eyes wide.
"Yes lieutenant, really. You mentioned to me once that the morale of the science staff was quite low. It seems to be pretty high now. Do you agree?" Weill asked pointedly.
"Their morale does seem to be higher than it was, sir" Alex answered, slightly dismayed. The captain had seen through his little plan pretty easily.
"Yes, it does" Weill said thoughtfully. "Dismissed." Lt. Dixon pivoted smartly on his heel and marched out of the room. Captain Weill heard several voices welcome Alex out of the room as the door closed. Captain Weill sighed.

After Weill has sighed, he straightened up and walked out of the room, he was not nearly as annoyed as he looked and he didnt look as annoyed as he sounded, he was still a young officer by the current levels, he was one of the younger Captains in Starfleet, so he knew what it was like to hav a fight in a bar, he had remembered, not so long ago having one near the Klingon boardr and the Klingons were only to happy to have a confrontation. Fights were more in when he was younger, and he renmebered stories from his instructors which would make your ears stand on end.
After he had walked out he thought he better get back to the bridge, when he walked on the bridge was crowed with station people, they were cleaning refitting and doing jobs that Weill couldnt believe, he walkeda round to his chair and there was someone under it, he wondered what he was doing
Engineer: " Sir, you are a unluckey sod, having to sit on this squeeky chair so much"
Weill nodded and thought he better let them get on with their work, he had no idea where to go, so he went down to his quarters and all the corridors had engineers and mantianace and others all up and down, he sat at his desk
Weill: " Computer, Elagar, symphonie number 2"
he sat back and listened, and he than thought he hadnt been around long enough to settle in and his uaretrs were big but very unfinsihed, he ha lots of books, which luckily he kept ina nice case which protected them, he had them transported into place, he than continued with placing objects he had, had transported from the storage units.

Alex was relieved as he left Captain Weill on the holodeck. He had been starting to think that he was going to get the book thrown at him. Alex shrugged. He still might.
However, in the meantime, he and his staff were free. Alex turned the corner and found about a dozen of his staff there waiting for him. Alex pantomimed heaving a huge sigh of relief and wiping his forehead as they crowded around him excitedly, demanding to know what the captain had said. Alex told them that the captain had asked a few more questions about what had happened and then had dismissed him. To deflect further questions, Alex suggested that they should go to Sickbay to visit anyone who ended up there.
The entire group went with him to Sickbay. About a half dozen of the Science staff had ended up there, including Lt. Ruten. He had a broken finger. Otherwise, there were no serious injuries, mostly just cuts and scrapes Alex was happy to see. Even those in Sickbay were still in high spirits after their adventure. Alex spent some time with each one and listened as they told him their story. They all seemed to have had a lot of fun.
After about a half hour, most had been discharged by the doctor. Alex decided to go to his quarters and rest. His head was still buzzing a little from what he had drank and he hadn't done very well during the fight. It wasn't really his strong suit, anyway.
As he went to sleep, Alex hoped that this would be enough to keep his Science team together for a long time.

Isildur left his quarters and headed for the mess hall. He had been asleep for three days and needed food. "What can I get you ensign?" the host asked the andalite who was already in human form. "I will have a Cheeseburger and fries," Isildur said as soon as he sat. He had grown accustomed to human food during his stay on earth. He noticed a new officer looking at him. "Hello," the unknown ensign said. "Hello, I am Isildur Cooraf the Counselour on this ship," the andalite replied. "I am James O'Connor," the young man said as Isildur moved to his table.

Alex finally rolled out of bed after his alarms had screamed at him for the third time, walked over and deactivated it.
His first considered action after that was to sit back down and hold his head in his hands. It had been several years since the last time he had had that much actual alcohol, and more years since he had gotten into a bar fight. The end result was pretty much the same as he remembered though. However, the cost would be worth the price he would be paying for the next few hours. However, the next few hours would be a major trial. His head felt like there was a Klingon Batlethtournament going on inside it, and his body ached in places he didn't know he had.
Unfortunately, he was nearly late for his shift, and didn't have the time to sit around. Alex limped toward the shower.
20 minutes later, Alex stepped off of the turbolift and onto the bridge with his PADD of repair information that he had downloaded in his quarters. It was a beehive of activity as technicians from the Starbase repaired damage caused by the combat with the Vadkin and upgraded systems with more advanced technology.
There was a cluster of 4 techs around the two Science stations on the bridge. Moving closer, Alex could see that both of them were in various stages of disrepair, and would both be useless for any work that he might need to do.
Alex realized that he would be unable to do anything on the bridge and decided to go inspect the Cybernetics lab personally to see the extent of the damage. Captain Weill stepped off of the turbolift as Alex approached, and a very sunny smile crossed the captains face.
"Good morning, lieutenant! And how are you today? Weill's voice boomed, slapping Alex on the shoulder in a friendly manner.
The man was obviously a sadist. Alex's head throbbed wildly. "Pretty good sir, all things considered" Alex replied.
"Excellent, lieutenant" the captain said enthusiastically. "Tell me how the repairs are going in Science!" Alex winced as the captain grabbed Alex's sore arm to halt the lieutenants progress toward the turbolift. It didn't really matter, Alex thought to himself as both of his arms were sore.
"I'm not really sure. The techs are still working on my Science stations, so I can't monitor repair progress. I'm going down to Cybernetics to see how things are there. That was the worst hit of the labs" Alex said quietly.
"Capital idea! Perhaps I should join you. I haven't seen the Cybernetics lab myself recently, and I am sure that an inspection is exactly what the Raven's Science staff needs!" Weill pulled Alex toward the turbolift and they headed down to Deck 17 over Alex's weak protests.
The two of them entered the wrecked lab. Most of the debris had been cleared out, but the walls were still scorched and it smelled of burned plastic and duranium. The fire had been so hot that the walls had been melted in some areas. The Captain seemed somewhat subdued when he saw the extent of the damage. There were a number of repair techs in the room trying to fix the damage.
"Where has Cybernetics been moved to?" the Captain inquired.
"The Planetary Science lab, for the most part. We are attempting to help one of the Cyberneticists who lost the majority of his work as the result of the explosion" Alex replied.
"Great! That's where we're going next!" The captain set off again at a very fast walk and Alex struggled after him, trying to keep up.
Captain Weill was smiling happily when he and Lt. Dixon burst into the Planetary Science lab. Startled science staff jumped to their feet and stood at attention until the captain said "At ease." The majority of them were bleary eyed and slumped tiredly back into their chairs. The captain nodded to himself and did a whirlwind tour of the lab, questioning everyone and what they were doing.
Quickly finished his inspection, Weill was on his way out the door when he paused. "Lieutenant, this room looks like it has suffered some damage. Have ships systems been tested here to verify they are operational?"
"Not that I am aware of" the startled lieutenant replied.
"Well, I'm sure that we can come up with something." The captain appeared to think for a second, then said "Computer, activate red alert klaxon, Planetary Science lab only, full volume." Everyone except Weill cringed as the alarm whooped through the lab. Weill let them have it for about 5 seconds and then discontinued it.
"Ship systems seem to be working fine here. Carry on everyone. Lt. Dixon, you're with me" the captain ordered.
The captain led the increasingly nauseous lieutenant on a complete inspection of every science lab on the ship, making sure to "test ship systems in every one. Weill even decided to take a look at a malfunctioning sensor array in Jeffries tube 12, making Alex crawl through 25 metres of access crawlway.
After about an hour and a half, Alex said "Excuse me sir, but I will be meeting my section heads in about 5 minutes, would you like to attend?"
Weill thought about it, and finally relented. "No, lieutenant, I have done enough inspecting today. Please keep me updated regarding the repairs."
"Yes sir" Alex replied miserably, and made his unsteady way to the nearest turbolift.
Captain Weill smiled wickedly as he watched his young lieutenant. Perhaps Mr. Dixon will think twice before starting another bar brawl. He turned and started making his way back to his quarters.
OOC Sorry captain, I may have gotten your character to do some things he might not have done, but it was a lot of fun to write.

Alex had gone to the meeting with his section heads. It had been pretty quiet. The repairs to his departments and equipments would be complete by tomorrow, including a complete refit of the Cybernetics lab. His staff had been working double shifts to get it done, and Alex was quite proud of them. Once to work was complete, Alex planned to ask the captain if they could have two days of shore leave at the first available opportunity.
Once the report of repairs was complete however, there was little to talk about. No research proposals could be put forward as they didn't know where they were going. Alex broke the meeting early and everyone went back to their departments.
Alex went down to Planetary Science and spent the rest of his shift working on the sensor beds for Ensign Karran's cybernetics project, and managed to finish several. Alex hadn't done much miniture circuitry work in the past, but the plans were complete and all Alex had to do was follow them.
As he worked, he was kept up to date by his section heads and repair techs from the Bellicose. By the time his shift was over, most major repairs to his departments had been completed, leaving mostly cosmetic changes to be done.
Alex ordered the new shift to move Ensign Karran's medical experiment back to Cybernetics.
Once that was done, Alex was free and decided that his head needed some distraction for a little while, and decided to take Commander Burgess from the Bellicose up on his offer of a tour.
Tapping on his comm badge, he contacted a few members of his staff, Lt. Chappell, Lise to see if they were interested in coming along.
He received affirmatives from all of them and they all converged on the command deck of the Bellicose and asked Commander Burgess for a tour.
OOC Tag Josh, Lise, and Commander Burgess

After taking care of the last people who got wounded during their fight, which in Lise's opinion had done a lot more good then bad, Lise went for the messhal.
The job appointed to her, taking care of a reception for Clark, would be fun. Having a reception at the messhal maybe woyuld be a bit boring, since it wasn'r really the best example of cosines, so Lise decided to find a nice holodeck program, suitable for the job. Mister Clarke probably wouldn't be impressed by it, after all, he was a man of effiency, but it might invite more to chat and laughter.
After viewing a few scenes, Lise decided to pick rather simple one. Some simple buildings of white stone, in the sun. A lot of green and a little flowers. Lise modified a little of te program to make it more suitable for sitting en placing food and drinks. The choose of the sort of foods was quickly made. Some light- and nonalcoholic drinks, and lot's of hors d'oevres. And so, after a couple of hours, she was finished and decided to ask Isildur for his opinion.
"You wouldn;t mind if I bring JAmes O'Conner with me?" he answered to her requested. "Not at all, " Lise responded.
After James was introduced to Lise and visa versa, they decided to already start a little party of their own, to, as James described it 'to test if this environment and the food is suitable for a reception.
Off: The story about the fight was great!

~~Star Base Bellicose ~~ Base commander personal log
Jack “sits at a table in the base lounge, called ten-forward. {{It must be tradition considering the fact that it is definitely not on the 10th deck!}} Quietly “he looks around, enjoying a glass of scotch. Think about the unknown mission ahead and the possible risk to the federation and the crew of the Raven if this mission was to go bad
As for my new Xo Lt, Cmdr Burgess his first weeks on the station, have gone well he seemed to like it here. “ But off course its nothing compared to serving as a Xo on a star ship.” He applied for the post of Executive officer on Bellicose just some weeks ago, he was still listed Officially as a Lt his orders where a little late in arriving but they did and his new promotion to the rank of Lt Cmdr “
If only the confirmation from Starfleet would come though we could get this mission underway the Raven is Currently Dock and ready to get underway her new Co is a Captain Gus Weil I don’t know much about Him he replace captain Byrne three months ago “ But he has an outstanding service record but not a lot of combat experience but is see in his record he a trough bye the book kind of officer just the kind of captain that will be needed we cant afford to make any mistake” . As if the good spirits had heard him, Jack 's comm. badge beeps and he answers the call. He is informed that the USS Raven is ready to get underway they are waiting for him and his staff to transport on board with in an hour.
So Jack sips the synthehol scotch empty {{lucky that I got some bottles of the real stuff with me}} and leaves the lounge, Jack taps’ ops this Admiral Clark have the Xo and the other officer meet me in transporter room 6 in one hour and get me a secured channel to Admiral Brand he been putting me off long enough.”
~~One hour later, Star Base Bellicose Transporter room~~
Transporter chief “Uss Raven this is star base Bellicose the Admiral and his party are ready to transport over to your ship standby to receive them “ Bellicose this is the Raven begin transporting at any time as six shadows start to materialize be for the Raven Transporter Chief “
Captain Weil” speaks welcome aboard the Raven Admiral Clark why thank you Captain Weil Let me introduce my Xo Cmdr Chris Majeski I know the Cmdr “ Let me introduce my Xo Lt, Cmdr Burgess along with my staff I hope you can find accommodations for them all “
Captain weil > yes sir Cmdr will you see that the admiral staff is taken care of both of the two officers start walking out the door into the corridor “ Admiral can you tell me just what bring you on board the Raven and just what this mission will be.
Admiral Clark” captain in time first I need for you set up a senior Department head meeting at 0830 Hours until then I wont to take a little look around the Old girl” I have not been on her in nine years Captain Weil “ Yes sir Captain Weil “ taps his comm. Badge Bridge this is the captain inform all senior department heads there will be a meeting in conference room 2 At 0:830 Hours don’t be late Weil out ~~End of log~~

Weill thought the Admirals first step on the vessel had gone well, he was almost a legend on the Raven,
Weill: " Admiral, would you like to go to the bridge first?"
Clark: " Yes lets go to the most famliar"
They walked to the bridge, the doors opened and the Admiral walked on slowley, he looked around and put his hand aon the back of the COs chair
Clark: " Hello old girl, i'm back........"
Weill: " Admiral, go on, for old times sake"
Clark: "Thankyou Captain"
He sat down and lent back, he put his hands on the armrests, but than the Doctor walked onto the bridge
Clark: " Ah a face from the past"
Lise: " Admiral, good to see you"
Clark hugged Lise and than Lise straightened up and said
Lise: "Sir the Medical department is ready"
Weill: "Thankyou Doctor, Admiral, would you excuse me, i have got some thigns to do before we leave the station, Doctor woul you shouw the Admiral around? "
Clark: "Dont worry Captain, i will stroll around by myself, its been a while but i should be able to find my way around"
The Admiral turned and got into the turbolift and Captain Weill walked around to his office, he had a lot to do, interviewing a few new officers, to fill gaps, they were all good candidates and he choose a few, luckily they werent the senior staff they were mostly junior positions.

The tour over, Alex and the rest of the Raven crew who had come along made their way back to their ship.
Boarding at the main gangway, Alex heard the rumour that Admiral Clark had boarded and was wandering the ship.
Alex hustled up to his quarters and found that there was to be a staff meeting at 0830 hours. He quietly checked the maintenance logs for Science. It seemed that the repairs and upgrades were complete.
Alex made sure to tell his staff that the Admiral was aboard and might be conducting inspections, then left his quarters to go to the bridge.

Weill was sitting at his desk and he heard that the new negotiations specialist was coming aboard.
Weill: " Weill to Stephens, please come to my ready room ASAP"
Stephens: " Yes sir"
She came in some time later, she was very kind looking but did have an edge, she appeared to be slightly uncomfotable as she knew that negotiators werent always welcome, espcially on a ship of the line. Weill looked up and she straightened up
Weill: " Relax, now welcome aboard, i wont hide it, i have no idea why they have sent for you but than i am not entireley sure what the mission is"
Stephens: "Yes sir"
Weill: " I am immediatley going to tell you that i may need you, as you are a trained negotiator, i may be after this who knows"
Stephens: " yes sir, i have come at the bequest of Admiral Clark"
Weill: "Ok, well, i suggest you report in to the security chief and ask him for quarters and than to the Admiral, thankyou for coming and i hope you will enjoy your stay"
