Fox and Logan were still roaming through the corridors on the surface trying to catch up with the away team, they'd left earlier. He looked at Logan. "I think its this way." He pointed to a corridor. Logan shook his head "No i'm sure its that one." At this point both looked quite the same.
"Left just try that one then." he pointed the one Logan suggested. Just then Harpers call came.
"None ma'am. I'm about to page them." He tapped his combadge again. "Commander Fox, report."
"We've met with the andorian team." he reported "but now we're....." pausing a little "kinda a bit lost in our try to catch up with our away team."
Onboard Harper grinned faintly. "They've all beamed back up here already." he responded. "Shall we transport you two back also?" Fox nodded "please do."
Just before the normal blue glow appeared he could hear Harper call "energize" over the comm-link. A second later they stood on the transporter pad. Immediately Fox headed toward sickbay as he assumed Sonak would be there, going over the pad he had gotten from the leader of the andorian team.
A few minutes later the doors of sickbay slided open. Fox looked arround searching for Sonak. Only when she turned arround and asked is she could help him he recognized her because she didn't wear her usual red uniform.
"Here's the list of the andorian team members." Fox said handing the pad to Sonak.

* As Colonel Tomlak received the report of Solar's escape and apparent death at the hands of the Federation; he decided to stop his approach to the system and allow the teriforming to continue unabated by the Tal Shiar. He must determine if Solar was truly dead or recover the information he stole. If he did not he would have to disappear as failure was not tolerated in the new Tal Shar.*
* Mean wile on the Romulan ship in orbit of the planet.*
Centurion Tole: Tole to bridge we have found Major Solar he was in a status unit in the medical bay, the doctor reports he is dead from his suicide module.
Commander Lock: Understood prep the unit for transport to the Tal Shar and continue with preparations for the Tara forming.

"Thank you commander," Sonak replied, accepting the PADD from her science chief, then indicated the biobed. "I believe you remember Major Larok?" At his nod, she turned back to face the human before her. "Fox, I shall be here in sickbay for a little longer. With Vander still on the surface please go to the bridge and relieve Mark?"
She sighed softly. "Mark has been pulling a double shift again, he needs to be told to go off duty." She held up her hand, preventing his response. "Yes, I will too once I finish up with Larok."
The Vulcan dismissed Fox and watched him leave before turning back to the Vulcan marine. "You are not under arrest major," she finally answered his question, "however I do believe you to be dangerous. For now, you are not to go anywhere without armed escort. You assaulted a senior officer in your delerium and could have caused more damage than you have."
She saw the hurt briefly flicker across his features but she chose to ignore it, for his sake. "The chief medical officer's office is secure enough." She released the restraining field and beckoned two of her most senior guards to keep an eye on the injured marine. "Come with me."
The guards remained outside the office, though they could come barge in any second they felt their commanding officer's life was at risk. She secured the door enough for them not to be able to listen in. "What brought you here major? And I mean other than your transfer request, which has been approved." She paused. "Once you are medically cleared and fit for duty, you may resume your post as senior marine officer. However, until such time you are classed my patient, and dangerous."
She indicated the chip that had been recovered from him. "And what is this about? You gave this to me the first time you passed out, and I recovered a poisoned chip from your right arm. You have not been running errands for General Arok again have you? Surely that dratted Klingon realises that you are not the youngest of officers anymore?"
Sonak raised an eyebrow at him, knowing full well that 161 was merely middle aged from a Vulcan's perspective, but that still made him older than the Klingon general. "And Vulcans just are not designed to be warriors. I would like to have a word or two with him, when I can get hold of him." The last words were uttered as a scowl more than anything else. "And you, Major Larok, will promise me to rest when you are released from sickbay. And that is an order, both from your doctor as well as your captain, understood?"

[White] USS Vesuvius-A [/White]
[Report - Executive Officer - Classified - Stardate 940518.60]
[yellow] The Trip to Andor seemed like a good one, with the ship on alert status and the crew fully operational, we had some time to reconcile with my family on andoria, but not long after a meeting was to take place with the andorian and romulan science teams on placement of the new planetoid and what exactly would happen in the event of a terraforming action, it seemed to go well, with me in the backround watching the events take place as they had proceeded, each science team would present materials on valid points and would annotate and provide means upon which they would think it would be quantitative upon the assumption that a terraforming incursion on a planetoid in there regions of space could be done, but they also needed analysis and confirmation of the fact. So after further deliberation each team would follow with the results and the terraforming information then proceeded upon itself, and the two teams would eventually decide on the date for action. [/yellow]
[End Report - Executive Officer - Classified - Stardate 940518.60]
After closing up the report, halthor rised from his chair looked around his room, and got out of his uniform to clean himself up for the time being, It would only be minutes later that he was well groomed and fashionably adequate in front of enlisted and officers eyes that he would provide a formal introduction if need be, but he need not do that, because he was already part of the crew and had been part of the ship for quite a bit of time to know some intricacies of the daily doings of the officials and its crew whereabouts.
Grabbing his PaDD and patting his uniform in front of the mirror he looked himself over and then exited his quarters and left through the bridge down to the turbo lift. As well he kept an eye on the helm officer lt morgan, he wanted to make sure he was maintaining his intervals and preliminary checks before doing anything he would not mean to do.
Entering the turbo lift, halthor motioned to the computer to head to sickbay. The turbo lift shot off, and arrived moments later, walking out, he looked out breathing the fresh air, and his tendrills aimed at his location of interest, he entered sickbay, looking around and finding himself in the cmo’s office.
“Well how is Sickbay holding up, im sure you and marine major larok have been doing quite a lot of work around here.” Halthor replied.

*Larok was finally convinced that he was not back in the Romulan interrogation simulation again.*
Sonak: "You are not under arrest major," she finally answered his question, "however I do believe you to be dangerous. For now, you are not to go anywhere without armed escort. You assaulted a senior officer in your delirium and could have caused more damage than you have."
Larok: I understand and hope that we can clear everything up to your satisfaction. My quiet reassignment from this ship did in fact have to do with the contents of that chip, but Admiral Arok is not to blame; directly. General Krok and the Klingon High command had become aware of a Romulan experimental integration method having to do with recovered alien technology. It seems that the Tal Shar had stumbled upon a planet with an extensive holographic system that read a subjects mind and made the subject believe it was the real world. Colonel Traks arranged for me to join the Klingons and him in checking out this planet. It seems that Capitan Riker had been held there by an alien child because he was alone. With the trouble and then the Dominion war this case slipped through the grid and the order to secure the equipment never got processed. The Romulans did however find out about it during one of the information updates during the Dominion War, or during the Shinzon events, I never did pin down exactly how they found out about it. While exploring the planet I became separated and was captured. The main problem with the system is it can not tell the context of memory. I found myself on what appeared to be the Vesuvius with all of the crew I knew, the system kept trying to convince me that Lt Tressa a human I had served with over a hundred years ago on the T'Prine was an engineer on the V, and my wife. I played along for several weeks doing everything I could to cause the program to terminate, including a warp breach, but it seemed to be one step ahead. Eventually all my little problems became a glitch then the whole system crashed. During the ensuing scuffle I severely injured the Tal Shar Major in charge of the project and I performed a deep mind meld on him only his emotions seemed to get the better of me for a while. I put him in stasis as me and took his place. I destroyed the facility and tried to get out of the Romulan Empire. I managed to work my way onto the Terri forming mission with the intent of contacting Star Fleet through the ship sent or the Andorians. As for me being 161 years old, yes I was born 161 years ago but having spent 50 of those years on a ship moving at 98%of the speed of light ; I am really only 78. Still an old man for a Human but I hope to serve the Federation for at leas another hundred or so years. I am sure another 6 or 8 hours of meditation will allow me to purge the rest of the Romulan emotions from my system. If you wish I can remain here in sick bay or I my quarters as you wish.

"Of course that foolish Klingon is to blame," the younger Vulcan retorted as she reviewed the data Larok had provided. "However, I would be interested to learn how your showing up out of nowhere ties in with our current mission."
She waved Halthor in when she spotted him being stopped by security. “Well how is Sickbay holding up, im sure you and marine major larok have been doing quite a lot of work around here.” the Andorian enquired, looking too cheerful for the time of day.
"Actually, Major Larok is currently not on duty. He has not been medically cleared and is considered dangerous, hence the guards outside," she answered curtly, "however, the major also has important information to share."
She motioned again towards the Andorian. "Major, I do not believe you have yet met my first officer, Commander Vander Halthor. You might remember Logan Byrne being second in command, however he was happier in engineering."
Sonak sat back down and faced the older man. "You were just about to tell me how your showing up coincides with our current terraforming mission," she prompted, opon which he explained his age discrepancy.
As for me being 161 years old, yes I was born 161 years ago but having spent 50 of those years on a ship moving at 98%of the speed of light ; I am really only 78. "Still older than I am, but hopefully wiser too," she shot back. She was starting to lose her patience, but she wasn't about to show it just yet, even though she reasoned that with his experience, he could possibly see right through her. "Meditation would be wise," she added with a smile, "you may return to your quarters once you have answered my question. If you need assistance in achieving mediation, I am here to assist you."

Fox, I shall be here in sickbay for a little longer. With Vander still on the surface please go to the bridge and relieve Mark?
Fox just nodded in response "yes Ma'am." he said softly.
She sighed softly. "Mark has been pulling a double shift again, he needs to be told to go off duty." She held up her hand, preventing his response. "Yes, I will too once I finish up with Larok."
Knowing it was no use to discuss about it any longer he nodded again. "I will head to the bridge then." and turned around walking to the doors of sickbay, hoping she would do as she said but also knowing she would rather stay in here. He heard the doors close behind him and walked to the nearest turbolift.
He had to wait a little bit before the doors opened. When they opened an ensign walked out. Both men greeted eachother. He walked in. "Bridge" he ordered, the doors closed and the turbolift started to move with a soft humming sound.
A moment later the lift opened again and Fox walked on the bridge. He looked around for Mark and noticed him very relaxed sitting in the captains chair and walked to him.
"Feels comfortable, doesn't it?" Fox asked as he stood behind Mark. Mark jolted up, sitting straight again and smiled. "Yes it does." he replied. "What can i do for you Commander?"
"I'm here to take over your duty." he responded "But....." Mark wanted to say, but Fox interrupted him. "Captains and doctors orders. You've ran a double shift again." he said smiling. Mark smiled and back and nodded "Alright." he answered as he got up from the chair. "Its all yours then." As walked to the turbolifts Fox sat down in the big comfy chair.

*With any other Officer or even Vulcan Larok might have kept dragging out the answer to their question to see if they might loose their cool. But he respected his Co too much for that.*
Larok: I have been called the old man since leaving the T'Prine and entering the Academy at the age of 72, or 158 years since my birth. The instructors as well as other cadets did not know how to react to me. The old man who was stronger, faster, than they expect red. I am not entirely sure what my pooping up here has to do with your mission other than I took the first opening I had to get back to the Federation with out leaving a trail of destruction from Romulans to Earth. I did learn that the Romulans are convinced that this world is an outpost of the Ionian Empire and may have an Icon ion transport system on it like the one the Enterprise D destroyed a few years ago. To be able to transport across the Galaxy could be a great tactical advantage. One study I read while in the Tal Shar headquarters was a plan to build a transporter large enough to send Warbirds right into the orbits of Qo'nos, Vulcan, or Earth. So I would advise keeping a very close eye on the Romulans. I also suspect that there are at least two cloaked Warbirds watching us now from just outside of sensor range. As I am not cleared for duty I respectively request that you have the Vesuvius begin a search for cloaked sensor bouies that were released by the Romulan terraforming vessel. To answer your unasked question; I pledge my service to the Federation, you and the crew of the Vesuvius. I have no commitments to the foolish Klingon as you called him. My mission for Star Fleet intelligence has been fulfilled. The honor is to serve.

The younger Vulcan listened with interest and increasing concern, but for now she wouldn't let the Romulans know that they were no to something. "We are having a science team from Andor as guests, and we shall be met by a Romulan team once we arrive at our destination. I am certain Commander Halthor will keep an eye on sensors for now."
She glanced sideways at her Andorian first officer, before locking her gaze on her marine officer again. "I never have doubted your loyalties Larok, and I never will. If anything, all I will doubt is your sanity on occasion but you are quite free to correct me when I am wrong. My life is in your hands, if you remember your duties correctly."
Sonak rose to her feet, then pulled Larok up with her. "Allow me to escort you to your quarters. For the night, an armed guard will remain outside, but tomorrow you may resume your duties, after you have meditated. Understood?"
The Vulcan woman turned back to the Andorian first officer. "Commander, set course for Sh'al, or Lazan as the Romulans call it, best possible speed. Tell Logan to give the engines everything she can handle, we want to get there before the Romulans do."
She walked out of sickbay, supporting the older Vulcan until they reached his quarters. "If you need anything, just page me, I will be in my quarters." She smiled briefly. "I have my youngest daughter with me, the rest of my family stayed behind on Bellicose. You may remember Miriya, who was born in engineering?"

Morgan listened as Commander Fox replaced Commander Harper on duty, he was technically nearing the end of his first duty shift. Although while the Ves was still in orbit of Andor he could probably catch fourty winks at his console without anything happening, NOT that he was going to of course. It was actually strange to consider shifts again, while he was on Spirit he was responsible for himself. Some had told him that the isolation of his courier work had drive him a little nuts, however Morgan disagreed, considering his career so far he believed he'd always been a little nuts.
He looked at the system chart on his console the Romulan ships were still there but they had so far done nothing threatening, Morgan doubted this was going to last, the Ves was obviously being watched. He shook his head as a shiver ran down his spine.
Word came that they were setting off for Sh'al. Morgan laid in the course, focussing on getting there quickly. He didn't know quite how much the CEO was going to be able to get out of the engines but Morgan was more than willing to make corrections on-the-fly as it were. The Ves's engines sang into life sending a gentle thrum through the deckplates and a surge through Morgan's heart. The would get there before the Romulans he was sure of that although he also thought it likely that they would play devious if not dirty on the way.

Sonak: "Allow me to escort you to your quarters. For the night, an armed guard will remain outside, but tomorrow you may resume your duties, after you have meditated. Understood?"
Larok: Yes mam I have a few additions and upgrades to add to the Marine squads armor. I am concerned we will need them before this mission is over. With your permission I will forward the specs to my squads armor and then begin my meditation.
*They arrived at Larok's quarters and Larok had to suppress His surprise at the presence of his Personal effects that he had lost track of. Sonak noticed his surprise but chose to ignore it.*
Sonak: It seems that the Quarter Master never got orders where to forward your personal items. So I took the liberty of having him return the items where he packed them from.
Larok: I will have to thank him and let him know what a good memory he has.
*As Sonak left Larok sat down at the computer terminal and forwarded the new specs to his second in command along with a request to have the Marine Squads personnel records updated and waiting on his desk at 0800. Then he moved the chair in front of the window to begin his meditations.

In his quarters reading the Andorian novella, Halthor took a moment to look out the window of the Vesuvius to see the fabric of space, it was slow and steady. He liked the serine and smooth motion in which the ship moved as well as the stars passed along. It was as if time wasn’t passing at all and the Vesuvius was just a time machine just going to certain places in times of interest. Then taking a deep breath the Andorian began to read more into his novel and found that something had taken place in which a great battle was to be taking place and two characters were naturally the ones who were the brunt of the battle.
Continuing he found that the battle issued with both sides having bitter anger upon one another, in which one wanted something from another. One side being called the shra’la and the other being the na’ salan. The Na’ Salan wanting nothing more but to end the shra’la and seeing them in agony was just the beginning. They would start there battle with primitive weapons, such as the sword and shield and then go to the modern day weaponry of guns and disruptor rifle.
“These Na’Salan are intriguing as they seem, even though they are willing to end there lives, they will do anything to kill the other side so that they could see to there fruition.” Halthor commented. After much reading the commander then took a moment to put the book down and read over the data pad once more, analyzing and taking into account that drills were taking place, Halthor grabbed his padd and walked out of his quarters to accompany Sonak.
Sitting down in the chair next to her, he replied “So drills are on the agenda, are crews in there proper areas to conduct training and have performed procedures and safety inspections?” Halthor looked Sonak with his eyebrow raising.
<Tag Sonak>
“Understood Then, I will make sure that everyone will be in there places, and see to it that major lajok conducts his drills effectively.” Halthor nodded.
Nodding to the Marine Major “Larok if you will we will begin preliminary drills before you begin your marine taskings, make it so.” the andorian replied.

The next morning, Sonak walked onto the bridge seeing Halthor already there. She answered his barrage of questions with a positive, then nodded towards the screen. "ETA to Sh'al?" she asked Morgan, before settling her gaze on Larok.
"Major, I assume you are rested enough to resume your duties?" At his slight nod, barely detectable, she smiled ever so slightly. "Very well, please proceed with what you were doing." She presumed he was catching up on ship status and the poor state of his marine contingent. Since his departure, no-one had seen to the continuing of their training, so they were indeed in a reasonably poor state of training.
Settling back in the command chair, she closed her eyes for a moment, rubbing her temples. She had a headache, and not a mild one at that even though she couldn't explain why. One thing was certain, she wouldn't be running her shift in sickbay today, she was too tired for that. Squinting, she gazed at the main screen, which showed the streaks of stars in such a pattern they could only be at high warp. "When did we leave orbit of Andor?" she asked quietly, not remembering that she had given the order herself.

Immediately as Sonak and Halthor walked onto the bridge Fox had left the "big comfy" chair and assumed his spot at the science station.
When did we leave orbit of Andor?
Fox turned around, looking a bit puzzled. He had noticed Sonak rubbing her temples. "Are you feeling well Ma'am?" he asked and continued "You've given that order yourself last night, don't you remember?"
<Sonak>
Fox still looked at Sonak. "If i may suggest something...." Fox started, but Sonak interrupted him before he could finish. "Although i should, i'm needed here." Sonak answered. "But..." Fox began, but a glare of Sonak made him stop with what he was going to say. "Very well." Fox replied while nodding.
As Sonak turned back again Fox continued his duty at his station.

Sitting in his chair, looking at the view screen, the andorian began to speculate about the many things he had done before he had become first officer, but now he had to focus on the priority, it was turning out that something wasn’t right and Halthor had to find exactly what it was. Looking at the terminal, he began to see something etch its way on scans, “something is in the cargo bay of Vesuvius, I better go see what exactly it is before it gets out of hand, if it is what I think it is, I can handle it.” the andorian replied, then gradually stepped up out of his chair, and walked towards the turbo lift, pressed the button, that engaged the doors to open, leaving himself entry.
Walking in, he smelled the air, but focused his attention on the task. Pressing the terminal once again, the doors shut, leaving the turbo lift to engage itself and shoot down towards the cargo bay. Arriving, Halthor walked out of the turbo lift, looking around, found the air around, filled with a moisture cloud and some unknown readings coming from just ahead of him.
Pulling out his scanner he began to adjust it a little and put his attention on the matter “Scanners indicate that there is a entity inside the cargo bay and its reading highly toxic levels inside the cargo bay, Im going to need a suit if im going to be able to enter inside for further analysis.” Halthor replied.
=/\=Commander Halthor to Sonak, we have a problem down in the carbobay, there seems to be entity readings with unusual patterns and temperature readings around the area, im going to get myself properly equipped before entering into the area.=/\=
Walking into the Office next to him, he found the necessary temperature suit, and put both legs through the footing and both arms through while putting the helmet on, then turning on the light and engaging proper temp levels for his suit, walked out of the room, and to the cargo bay doors, touching the panel, he removed it, and turned the panel for manual override.
As he had opened both panels, the door slowly opened, and halthor walked in with the lights turned on bright. Walking in he found the entity. “Who are you and what business do you have here?” Halthor mentioned then began to scan it for readings, then the lights shut off, and only his suit sustained him from damage. The entity left quickly, but left traces of residue on the ground, as it did, the lights came back on.
Waking back up, Halthor found himself in dissolution. =/\=Commander Halthor to Sonak, I don’t know what just happened but it appears the entity has left the area, any readings on your end. =/\=

*Larok had arrived early for the Alpha shift in order to get up to speed on the readiness of the Marines aboard. The more he read the more irritated he became.*
Sonak:"Major, I assume you are rested enough to resume your duties?"
* Larok nodded preceptively, but the Commodore understood. Touching the com panel*
Larok: Major Larok to all Marines there will be a level one stand too in 2 hours, this will be a I G level inspection. Gunnery Sergent Turell to my office in 15. That is all. * Larok moved to the side of the Commodores chair. Speaking low enough so that only a Vulcan could hear. Mam I am not a Doctor but I am a field qualified medic and I can see you need rest. Since you are the acting CMO it is hard for me to go over your head medically speaking, but for the good of the crew you need rest. I need to attend to the Marines and as Colonel Traks was so fond of saying; Their lives as they knew it is at a end. I have to welcome them to the Corps. I estimate that 6 of the 10 will fail the inspection miserably so I will have to introduce them to my favorite Holo deck program.
<tag Sonak>
*Larok walked into his office to find the Gunny sitting on the couch with his head bent over his hands holding a cup of Ractigino. Reaching down Larok grabbed the Gunny by the back of his shirt and lifted him up so he was looking eye to eye with him.*
Larok: When an Officer enters the room you will stand to. If you have any hope of keeping those stripes you will show me a reason why I should not drop you in an escape pod and dump you like the trash you have let the squad degenerate into. Now we will try this again.
* Setting the gunny down Larok left the office and as soon as the door closed he re-entered the room. The Gunny steeped to attention so hard his heals made a dent in the floor.*
Turell: Gunnery Sergent Turell reporting as ordered sir.
Larok: Better Gunny; now you have 1 hour and 45 minutes to get yourself showered shaved and in a proper uniform for inspection. That is all.
Turell: Aye Aye Sir: *With that Larok took his seat and started working out a proper training schedule. As soon as the Gunny rounded the corner from Laroks office he broke into a run toward his quarters grabbing every marine he passed and letting them know that they were back in the Marines.

"No, you are not a doctor," Sonak agreed, "and you will kindly not lecture me on whether or not I need rest." She raised an eyebrow at the other Vulcan, one corner of her mouth tugging up in what could be interpreted as a smile. "And when you do come into possession of a medical degree, we shall discuss this again. Please see to your marines, Major Larok, we may need them sooner than we may hope for."
The Vulcan commodore settled back in her seat and flipped a switch on the console between Halthor's seat and her own.
"Personal log, stardate 2394.0607. We are on our way to Sh'al, an Andorian colony which is also claimed by the Romulans. I do not know what we shall find once we arrive but we now have an Andorian science team on board and we shall be met with a Romulan team upon arrival. Major Larok has unexpectedly returned to the Vesuvius, but has resumed his duties as senior marine officer."
She paused, glancing at the main viewscreen, then over her shoulder as she watched Larok depart the bridge. "He is already stepping beside himself, trying to tell me to go off duty. The fortune about not having a chief medical officer, is that no-one can remove me, per sé. However, he does have a point. There is, unfortunately another problem. Halthor just informed me there was an entity in the cargobay, so I will need to investigate that before I can indulge in private time."
The Vulcan sighed softly. "The duties of a commanding officer are not restricted to on-duty time, they are ongoing and indefinite. A captain can always be called upon, no matter what the time of day or night."
She ended her log and rose to her feet, heading into her readyroom. She needed a moment of quiet and needed to be alone for just a few minutes. Soon enough, all hell would break loose.
And indeed it did; she had just taken the first sip of her tea, when Halthor's call came through. "No commander, nothing out of the ordinary on this end, however we shall enter yellow alert. Keep me informed!" She tapped her combadge. "Larok, training is on hold, we may have an intruder. Co-ordinate your search pattern with Lieutenant Emily Qualtrough," she ordered, knowing the security officer was capable of leading a search.
The Vulcan walked back onto the bridge. "Morgan, slow to impulse, we have an intruder. Lock down cargo and shuttlebays. Fox!" She whirled around to face the science station. "Lock down your laboratories, we do not want whoever is aboard to gain access to delicate and dangerous work. Thorad, lock down transporters and go to yellow alert."
She tapped her combadge. "Halthor, respond! We are at yellow alert and all escape routes are blocked. What is your status?"

Looking at the lights flicker from red to yellow, Halthor found himself waking from a terrible headache and a voice communiqué coming through his transponder.
[limegreen] "Halthor, respond! We are at yellow alert and all escape routes are blocked. What is your status?" [/limegreen]
=/\=Im alright just awoke from a bad headache, it seems the entity left the area, but I will check the nearby panel for scans of following decks. If anything we can close them down and possibly close this entity off for good before letting it cause harm to this ship =/\=
Walking up to the terminal he pressed the one of the buttons and followed it by triggering a simultaneous scanner reaction on all decks, it would do a scanner sweep for a period of 2 minutes. Waiting, halthor found the ships scans to be excellent in finding anything from thermal to a plasma orientation.
Then the scans blipped on the terminal once again, and the andorian looked more focused than ever, “hmm it seems our “intruder” has made it into c deck, quarters 3560. I wonder why its so focused In that area.” then touching his commbadge. “Commander Halthor to Sonak, the intruder has been found on long range scans by terminal access, you can find it in c deck, quarters 3560. I would heed caution sending security teams first.” then closing the communication link he stepped away from the terminal and ran towards the nearest turbo lift.
“Tactical” the andorian proceeded, then the lift shot off, and arrived, leaving he walked out and stepping near the tactical department doors. Touching the panel, he entered his command code, and walked through the door, then without due haste found the nearest phaser rifle case, opened it up, grabbed a rifle and a phaser, harness them both, and primed both weapons, leaving the room, he immediately left for c deck.
“Halthor to sonak, Heading to quarters 3560 now, update you along the way, keep me posted on security developments.” Halthor replied touching his communicator. The andorian was ready for anything.

Morgan had gone off duty and despite spending some of that time checking on Spirit and visiting the mess for a meal and to talk to as many people on the ship as possible he had actually got some sleep before reporting back to duty. It did not appear that the same could be said of the CO, not that it was his place to tell her. They were still on course for Sh'al, an would arrive in a matter of hours. There wasn't a great deal for him to do at the moment and he was slightly distracted pondering in equal measure the possibilities of having a cloak and MVAM on a ship; and that nice looking sciences lieutenant with dark hair he had met in the mess.
Then the Commodore came out of her ready room in a flurry of energy.
Morgan cut the warp drive as she continued to give orders the stars stopped streaking as the Vesuvius came back into normal space.
“Commander Halthor to Sonak, the intruder has been found on long range scans by terminal access, you can find it in c deck, quarters 3560. I would heed caution sending security teams first.”
Morgan heard the FO's voice over the comms and swallowed hard. He knew that he had a reckless streak that was the source of many of the problems he had had but there were times when the Universe seemed to be conspiring against him. He pivoted round in his chair.
"Commodore, those are my quarters. I swear I know nothing about this though."

Along the way to quarters 3560, halthor began to feel a little uneasy during the whole thing, even though he got his footing, it was as though the intruder had some type of grasp on him before and when he had met it back at cargo bay something was peculiar about this entity, but the andorian was curious and ultimately he wanted to find out what exactly this entity had for intentions with the ship and its crew.
Walking towards his destination, vander pulled out his hand held tricorder and began to get readings of the intruder emanating from the nearby room, it was close, but security teams were also nearby ready to attack when provoked. Vander motioned to one of the security detail to stay put, while the other security team he had motioned to move into the room to go and check for anything new.
Hoping and waiting, Halthor just knew something was just not right about this being that had entered the ship. Moments later, the secondary security team were flung to the wall and the intruder emanated with a vibrant white light that blinded everyone who saw it and even began to cause the temperature to rise in the area.
The andorian found himself once again on the ground shaken, but opened his eyes to catch a blip of the intruder which was leaving the area, heading towards the nearest turbo lift. “Shut off primary power to that turbo lift, and all nearby security teams get to this location asap.” the andorian touched his communicator then grabbed his phaser and was able to get a fix on the intruder before it was about to leave through the wall fixture.
As Halthor was about to fire, the light of the intruder shone brighter then ever, and it then passed through the wall, with vander shooting the phaser close to but not on par with the target. “Commander Halthor to Sonak, It looks as though our intruder has escaped any scans on your end, what is the ETA to sh’al. I will finish this up before we arrive.” after touching his communicator again halthor got himself up and went into the nearby room, finding no results, then heading back out, he went to the nearest panel to bring up scans on the deck readings.
Focusing his attention he caressed the panel with his fingers and found the increase scan differential button, with luck the area and view was wider and he was now able to see not only deck c, but all decks. “Hmmmmm, analyzing these reports carefully, I believe the most energy concentration would be in engineering, if I am right that intruder is heading straight there.” Halthor motioned to himself then touched his communicator “Commander Halthor to Commander Byrne, keep engineering on lockdown and the area on a full sweep, I believe the intruder is heading towards your area.” then grabbing his phaser rifle he touched the panel, rerouted power to the turbo lift and entered it traveling back up to the bridge.

* Just as Larok began the inspection.*
Sonak: "Larok, training is on hold, we may have an intruder. Co-ordinate your search pattern with Lieutenant Emily Qualtrough,"
Larok:" Aye Aye Commodore." *Turning to the Gunny Sergent* Gunny you heard the Boss saddle up, lock and load.
Gunny: Aye Aye Sir Hu Ra.
Larok: Simper Fi. " Computer Identify Larok Wildfire Seven Alpha; open combat lockers.
Computer: Larok authority recognized access granted.
Larok; Gunny dispatch the men in 3 man fire teams to help secure the Bridge, Engineering and assign two teams to support security as needed. I will be in security as ordered. Men remember your training and you will do fine take your lead from the security teams you back up add your fire power to protect the ship not make things worse. Move out.
*Larok finished sealing his armor and left the Marine area with his rifle slung and his helmet under his arm;*
Sgt Williams: Gunny I never thought I'd hear an Officer talk like a DI let alone a Vulcan.
Gunny: Aye I'd say this one has been around the quadrant a time or two now get cracking and we just may live to find out what kind of a Marine this Vulcan is.

"Commodore, those are my quarters. I swear I know nothing about this though."
Sonak cast the helmsman the coldest stare she could muster at that moment, even though the emotion she experienced was pity. "Further investigation will decide that, Mr Nikolayevich," she said coldly, nodding towards Fox. "Commander Fox, take the helm. Security, escort Mr Morgan to the brig."
The Vulcan tapped her combadge, ignoring the tap on her shoulder from Harper, who had returned to the bridge at the sound of the yellow alert. "Larok, report to Lieutenant Nikolayevich's quarters. The entity has taken refuge there. I have the lieutenant escorted to the brig until further notice. I will join you at the lieutenant's quarters. Acknowledge."
Harper tapped her shoulder again, a little more persistent now while an angry look appeared on his face. "This is crazy," he snapped, "the lieutenant's done nothing wrong. He never once left the bridge since coming on duty a few hours ago. He's been at his station the whole time, hasn't he Fox?"
The strategic operations officer turned to the science chief, looking for confirmation. "I protest this course of action."
"So noted," the Vulcan answered curtly, "you have the bridge commander. Fox, best speed to Sh'al, we have a deadline." She further ignored the two officers and stepped into the turbolift.
"One day...I'll give in to the urge to just punch her," Mark Harper scowled under his breath, "this is just nuts! She's gone nuts...has she gone off duty at all since we went into orbit around Andor and left again?"
Meanwhile, CPO Leavitts escorted Morgan to the brig. "I'm sorry sir, I wish I could do something but orders are orders. If anything, at least you'll be safe in here."
The youngster activated the forcefield once Morgan had stepped in, then walked away. "I'm sure this all will clear up soon. You'll be back up there in no-time, I'll bet."
At the same time, Sonak arrived at Morgan's quarters, with two security officers in tow, for her protection, they had claimed and persisted in her attendance even though she'd ordered them away. She nodded for Larok to force the door open and lead the way in. "Halthor, the creature is in our new helmsman's quarters. You may wish to join us. Get Byrne up here as well, me may find this of interest."

While on the Bridge, Halthor saw the events play out in the way that they had been, It had seemed that the Lt was detained and sent to the brig for some unbeknownst reason and the captain of the ship was having difficulties with the new situation at hand and her own mindset would cause her to let out a brute force on others as well as cause the Lt Morgan to be punished for something he did not do or wish to act upon.
Noting in his logs, the Andorian Commander began
- First Officers Log, Commander Vander Halthor -
[yellow] It would appear that Commodore Sonak has taken unto herself to send one of our member of the crew to the brig and of which, I have found no conclusive reason to believe that the navigations officer has performed wrongfully while on duty or caused harm to the ship, it is upon which I am writing a log today and making a note for Starfleet records to be time stamped, I wish I was not going to have to write this log down, but I feel it is in the best interests of Starfleet to recommend caution as well as written reprimand of Commodore Sonak. [/yellow]
- End Log, First Officer, Commander Vander Halthor -
Sitting in his seat at the command, he then began to pick up a communique from Sonak.
[limegreen] Halthor, the creature is in our new helmsman's quarters. You may wish to join us. Get Byrne up here as well, me may find this of interest." [/limegreen]
=/\=Understood Commodore, I will make sure Byrne will head to the area, I will stay at the bridge to see that our arrival at Sh’al is at a steady and timely accordance, I will call you when we arrive, estimated time tell arrival four hours.=/\=
Touching the terminal and starting communications. “Commander Byrne, report to Lt Morgans quarters asap, Sonak has requested assistance and needs personnel”
Then after the four hours had passed the Andorian chimed on his communicator as well as looking out the viewport, “Commander Halthor to Sonak, the Vesuvius has arrived at Sh’al, how are things going down there?” the andorian waited then continued to look out the viewport as the ship began it slow orbit of the planetoid.

*Larok had just entered the security office when the comm activated.*
Sonak:"Larok, report to Lieutenant Nikolayevich's quarters. The entity has taken refuge there. I have the lieutenant escorted to the brig until further notice. I will join you at the lieutenant's quarters. Acknowledge."
Larok:" Larok Acknowledges, " *Turning he headed for the turbo lift sealing his helmet to his armor. * " Larok to squad three meet me on Deck 4 section 3 alpha containment of type 6 life form asap.
Sgt Ortiz: Aye Aye Sir.
*Larok and squad 3 arrived from opposite directions and took up positions opposite the door while awaiting the arrival of the CO. As Sonak arrived she nodded to Larok who operated the manual over ride to force open the door allowing squad three to enter the room Larok went in activating all sensors in his armor*
AI: Life form detected non corporal energy suggest magnetic containment and attempt at communication energy weapons will have a negative effect.
Larok: Mam it seems to be feeding off the eps grid behind that bulkhead if engineering could boost the satirical integrity field and reconfigure it for magnetic containment we might be able to hold it long enough to see if we can communicate with it.

"Commander Fox, take the helm. Security, escort Mr Morgan to the brig."
Morgan was entirely surprised to here the Commodore's words, so it was to be the brig, again. He got to his feet and steep clear of the conn station keeping hi hands where they could be seen. He knew the drill after all, it was like he hadn't done this a few (well more than a few) times before.
He put up no resistance as the security officers escorted him off the bridge. He could hear Commanders Harper and Fox protesting at his treatment as the turbolift doors closed. Maybe this wouldn't be the end of his service on the Vesvius after all. Various people had mentioned that the CO hadn't been herself recently. He sighed as the 'lift sped downwards, it would however be another black mark on his all ready spotty record. Besides if it came to it who would Starfleet Command be more likely to believe a Commodore commanding a squadron flagship or a Lieutenant with a record like his...
The young Brig officer he'd been handed over to seemed rather puzzled by the whole situation
"I'm sorry sir, I wish I could do something but orders are orders. If anything, at least you'll be safe in here." Morgan gave a rather grim smile as he stepped into the cell.
"I wouldn't want to get you into trouble as well." The forcefield shimmered into life. Morgan looked out at the guard for a moment. It was unsurprisingly, quiet in the Vesuvius's brig with the two of the the only occupants. "I'll do my best to behave and keep you company."
"I'm sure this all will clear up soon. You'll be back up there in no-time, I'll bet."
"We'll see," Morgan said. He flopped on to the bench/bed and stared up at the ceiling. It had been a while since he had been in the Brig but the experience hadn't improved any. He was a pilot (and a free spirit) being caged in anyway was uncomfortable. He had no idea how long he would be here, but it wouldn't take anyone long to tear apart his temporary quarters given that all he had brought off the Spirit was a uniform, a set of civilian clothes and a set of holos, one of his parents, one of his sister Anastasia and one from an academy friend, oh, and a bag to put the above in.
Morgan glanced out through the forcefield at the Brig Officer. "I can make personal log entries from here can't I?" The CPO nodded. Morgan turned to look back at the ceiling again, he closed his eyes, all the better to try to forget that he was trapped. Okay, he had staged a jail break before but he'd been on the outside that time and he had had orders.
"Morgan Nikolayevitch, Personal Log, Stardate 2394.0613. I'm back in the Brig. It's been nearly 14 months since last time and the experience doesn't improve. It seems there's an intruder on the ship and it chose my quarters of all the possible places to hide. The Commodore doesn't believe that I have nothing to do with this and so here I am. I guess this is the most unusual thing I've ever been locked up for. It's kinda ironic I suppose, after all this time to actually be locked up for something I didn't do." Morgan paused in his narration wondering what more he could say, he was trying to stay optimistic. He had learned that brooding just made the time go slower. "I'm not going whine about this, I had the feeling it was going to happen some time. Still, I do wonder what's going on on this ship. I don't think I'm the only one that's worried. I also wonder how long I'm going to be here. I hope nothing happens to my holos." He sighed again. "No doubt they're going over Spirit with a fine toothed comb, let 'em. I've got nothing to hide. Still they don't know me here, I'm the new boy, yet again, so I guess I can't blame the CO for not trusting me." Morgan gave a sort of laugh "Still when has a CO ever trusted me, except Toby and given the circumstances, that's obviously a special case. I guess it's now eighteen ships in five years. Still, maybe there is a bright side two Commanders protested about what was happening so I may get out of here some time soon. Whatever happens I must remember to contact Lt Carter. End log entry."
Morgan went on to dictate letters to his parents and sister. He kept the tone bright, going on about how wonderful the Ves was to fly. Of course, they'd find out about this spell in the Brig just like they had the others but there was no point worrying them unduly at the moment. He did not ask to send the letters, yet.
