Little bitty confusion here:
Cmdr. Park ordered Lucy to stick with Draco then Adm. Drew has Lucy showing up to give him a medical while Draco is wounded on the bridge.
How should I play this? Lucy is a bit headstrong. She could have escaped Draco and made her way to Drew. But how? On her own? I understand why Lucy would leave Draco. She's there to see that the admiral is in good health.
Then again, she would follow Draco as best she could per Jon's orders. She is all Starfleet and in an unfamiliar place.
So, I think she would convince Draco to accompany her to wherever the admiral is.
What say you?

Ops my bad, must have missed that bit.
Yes, I think Lucy convincing Draco to accompany her is probably the best approach.

After Lucy has posted examining Drew, the away team and Drew will be returning to the Nevada. From there we will resume course for the Canis Major Delta colony and carry on with the main plot of the mission.

Understood. It's time to build up some inspiration for me! I'm uncertain what to do with Danath right now, but I'm sure when the time comes for it I will think of something.

In regard to the tag on my previous post, I am thinking that now maybe the time for something of a staff 'briefing' on the situation on Seth's planet. Nothing formal because we are relatively far into the mission, but just a sort of reminder/update in-sim of what is going on so everyone can get to know where we stand? Likely we'll need to share the speaking at this meeting, it will unravel itself in-sim for sure..

I thought I'd share some details of what Seth's homeworld is like, to help you all out. It's quite a dry world. The beam down area (ie, by Seth's house) is on the edge of a town. Its surrounded on all sides by a vast dust plain, it's almost desert like but it's not sand. The enemy stronghold is on the horizon among some rocky cliffs, and is barely visible at the best of times. There's a rough road running from what's left of the house to the town, with a couple of repulsor-lift vehicles by the house for transport. The planet looks greyish orange from orbit, with a few patches of grey ocean. There can be cold winds, but it can be stiflingly hot as well. Think of one of the harshest, driest environments imaginable. I like to imagine how the wind kicks up the dust of the plain, that gets my imagination going. I hope this helps. Seth.

Time for a bit of an update I think...
My character is working on a mission for a Section 31 type organisation, whose goal is to end the conflict in Sethโs homeworld without the need to enforce the might of the Starfleet military on the planet ie. Starfleet does not want to invade and impose martial law.
The group which Drew has been in contact with, and who he is meeting now, is the same group that Seth has been mentioning in his posts. This way, the two storylines of the mission will join together soon and will merge into one. I have had Acelik and Vise accompany Drew on his mission for two reasons, 1) it concludes Acelikโs story nicely and 2) with everyone on the planet, poor Counsellor Vise has no one to sim with, something I think Lucy already noticed.
Please continue with the away mission, which at the moment is based around Sethโs home. Now is the time to start talking to the locals, find out what has been happening, offering medical aid, providing security to the area. To add some spice to the away mission, maybe a rouge group decide to attack. In a few posts time, we will all come together and then move on to the bigger issues of the storyline, which relate to the Naal and their hold on the planet.

Red Alert! We are now involved in a fire fight with one of the opposing groups on the planet, there are many civilian casualties, Acelik has escaped, the operatives Drew was meeting have fled. In short everything is going wrong. Drew, Trek, Vise and Lucy are all pinned down.
We have lost communication with the Nevada, it is possible though that we have not lost communication with the rest of the Away Team who are near Sethโs house. They may be able to provide us with assistance or they may be under attack themselves.

Thanks to Admiral Drew's recent promotion (if you don't know what I'm referring to, look here), I thought I'd do a reality check for everyone and clarify what's going on in-simm and in the real world In the Real WorldPaul Drew is the Section Admiral Paul Drew is the CO of the Nevada Dan Trek is the First Officer Within the context of the simmPaul Drew is an Admiral Thomas Updeik is the CO of the Nevada Dan Trek is (still) the First Officer Paul Drew is a guest aboard the Nevada If there is any confusion regarding this, feel free to talk to Admiral Drew or myself. If you have any questions to ask or anything you'd like to discuss regarding the implications of our CO now being the SA, you can do so here.

Yes sir, we do. It's been that way ever since I joined this crew, with an Acting CO that was a guy played by a girl. And it's just gotten worse from there.

Yes however are we going to get the new class of ship? lol i am having issues with the photo so i will send it directly to drew or dan if they want just let me know also on difference in my design idea is the the ship can split simile to the Prometheus class Yet it is only two ships not three. One other thing the Chief of security is in command of the section since the bridge of the split ship is the restricted section on the security section. when the ship is split of course.

I like how you have claimed one of the sections Jon. ;D Will this then be the final outing of the USS Nevada-B? Who knew that an NPC would have been her final Captain..

Okay, small objection to your design there, Jon. If a ship does split, it's usually the First Officer that takes command of the second module, not the Chief of Security. The First Officer would have higher security clearance than the Chief of Security anyway, so he/she could go anywhere the Chief of Security could. Your thoughts, Admiral?
And yes, Seth, if we get the design for the Nevada-C finalized quickly enough, this mission will likely be her last outing, as you so aptly put it.

But anywho, yes, email your designs directly to both Drew and I, Jon. I'll post them up for you from there so that the others can take a look at them.

Who knows what will happen. I might decide that Dan Trek's place is on the main bridge with me during a crisis . I look forward to seeing your designs Jon. Do you have a list of specs and such for the ship? We will probably have to get CSS to approve us having a totally new design, but I think we might have good credit with them at the moment lol.
