Please use this thread for any and all non-mission related OOC's. Whatever you all want to talk about goes here.
There will be a seperate In-Mission OOC thread when the time comes.

Cold at nights and warm during the days. Not bad actually.
Okay...who wants to keep the Jefferson at starbase for some R&R? Will do so at your request at least until the end of this weekend. Maybe another week if its needed or requested by most. We'll see.
This will help me too in getting a better grip on things and tying up loose ends.
Let me know. Thanks!

Attention Everyone!!!
Go ahead and work our current story thread into our R&R.
I think we are already stationed at Starbase Assailant.
If you would like I can open a thread there for those of us who want to sim there, or you can go see if you can get involved with their current thread. I do occasionally as I am part of their fighter wing, when I'm there. Just some FYI for you.
Tell me what you want.

I have gone ahead and placed a Jefferson thread at the Assailant. You are now officially on R&R there, at least until Sunday. Have fun.

Has anyone heard from Sorak lately? What his status might be . I have sent a PM and an email to him. If I don't hear from him by Monday, I'll have him placed to TO (Trivia Only) status.

The Ambassadors are diplomats who technically have diplomatic immunity. The only thing I can do is make my report to Admiral Lin. The rest would be up to him.
But, rest assured, if they were to place my ship or crew in any danger, I will keel-haul them. Now ask me what that means... ;D.
Enjoy your R&R, everyone!

Trivia:
Keelhaul; Back in the days of true sailing vessels, this was a form of punishment. The offender would be tied to a rope to be dragged in the water under the Keel of the ship.
In todays' terminology...to rebuke harshly...
...which I have already done...hehe!

Since it has been asked once, I figured I better make an announcement here.
I am remaining a Marine, and will continue to wear a marine uniform. More or less the regular Starfleet uniform with green in it or a green tunic under it.
And just FYI, if you haven't looked it up yet, my Lieutenant Colonel First Class rank is equivalent to the Commander First Class rank.
So I'm not a Full Colonel (or Full Captain) yet.

And as I am in command of a starship, I am just as well addressed as Captain, at least while I'm on-board .
As stated, I was just giving an FYI for those interested.

Can I ask a question? Obviously, because I just did, but can I ask another one? Obviously because I just did, but can I ask one more after this one? Good.
What are all these firelizards that I keep hearing about?

Can I ask a question? Obviously, because I just did, but can I ask another one? Obviously because I just did, but can I ask one more after this one? Good. What are all these firelizards that I keep hearing about? Firelizards are non-canon creatures. They are small draconic flying creatures which are, upon hatching, Impressed. This means the hatchling is bonded, somewhat telepathically, to the new owner. They make very loyal pets. The first person to have introduced these firelizards to Section 47 is Jordan Mackler, who, as her bio states is from a planet called Pern. The creatures and the planet itself are taken from a book series called "Dragonriders of Pern" writting by Anne McCaffrey. There are five colours in which firelizards can hatch: Gold (female, "queen", she usually lays eggs) Green (female, also lays eggs but isn't too smart on where she lays them) Bronze (largest male, usually mates the golden queens) Brown (they're the fighters really, if necessary. Can also mate the queens if they can outfly the bronzes) Blue (smalles male, usually mates the greens) If you need more info I suggest reading "Dragonsong" and "Dragongsinger" which both give most information on firelizards.
