Voting Members Present:

Motion One: Confirmation of Commodore Matthew Reynolds as Personnel Officer
Commodore Reynolds has now completed the trial period for CSS membership and his performance will be reviewed and discussed amongst the voting CSS with a view towards making him a substantive CSS member.
The performance of Commodore Reynolds was discussed and it was agreed that he has performed well as Personnel Officer and taken an active part in CSS discussions. The matter was quickly taken to a vote to confirm Commodore Reynolds as a fully established CSS member.
The results of the vote were:
- Ayes: 6
- Nays: 0
- Abstain: 0
- Result: Motion passed.
Motion Two: Confirmation of Captain Gheskori as Trivia Officer
Captain Gheskori has now completed the trial period for CSS membership and his performance will be reviewed and discussed amongst the voting CSS with a view towards making him a substantive CSS member.
The performance of Captain Gheskori was discussed and it was agreed that he has performed well as Personnel Officer and taken an active part in CSS discussions. The matter was quickly taken to a vote to confirm Captain Gheskori as a fully established CSS member.

- Nays: 0
- Abstain: 0
- Result: Motion passed.
Motion Three: Status of the Site Second Officer
Discussion and vote on if the Site Second Officer should be a separate standalone CSS position with a vote or an secondary position of an existing CSS member.
There was a brief discussion about the role of the Site Second Officer and the responsibilities of the position. It was agreed that a CSS would be able to perform the role and carry out another CSS position. The motion put forward was to make the Site Second Officer a secondary position of an existing CSS member, rather than being a independent CSS position.
The results of the vote were:
- Ayes: 6
- Nays: 0
- Abstain: 0
- Result: Motion passd
Motion Four: Selection of a new Site Second Officer
CSS will select a new Site Second Officer, the nominations are:
Vice Admiral Steven Smith
Rear Admiral Carl Torek
Commander (Capt. Hon) Jamey Gaz
The CSS members not nominated discussed all of the candidates and Carl Torek emerged as the preferred candidate. A vote was called to appoint Carl Torek as the Site Second Officer
The results of the vote were:
- Ayes: 3
- Nays: 0
- Abstain: 1
- Result: As a majority vote of 4 was required to pass the motion, CSS failed to reach a decision and the motion will be resubmitted at the next CSS meeting.
Motion Five: Status of the Fleet and Advertising
Review of fleet reports and recruitment activities.
Admirals Lin and Smith informed CSS that they had made progress in preparing the site for the new advertising web ring, but that they had encountered a problem with the server. Admiral Drew asked them to look into using the SMS site to host the details instead, and Admiral Smith took an action to look into this.
Admiral Drew reminded CSS members of the requirements for command officers to be active and visible on the boards. He tasked Admiral Torek, as Squadron CO, with contacting ship captains to arrange joint missions for those ships which are current short staffed.
Admiral Torek asked if Squad reports should still be submitted, Admiral Drew replied that they would and that reports should contain the Squad CO’s thoughts and opinions on fleet affairs and offer recommendations for improvement.
Promotions, Awards and Command Assignments
Motion Six: Promotion of the Site Second Officer to Admiral
Whoever is selected as the new Site Second Officer will be recommended for promotion to the rank of full Admiral by SA Drew, in accordance with the rights and responsibilities of the position as the Third Ranking Member of Section 47.
This motion was tabled until the next meeting.
Motion Seven: Promotion of Commodore Matthew Reynolds to Rear Admiral
For his hard work and dedication to Section 47, SA Drew will recommend Commodore Reynolds for promotion to Rear Admiral.
There was a discussion about the performance of Commodore Reynolds throughout his time as a member of Section 47 and it was agreed that he was a dedicated member who always performed to the best of his abilities. The matter was taken to a vote.
The results of the vote were:
- Aye: 6
- Nays: 0
- Abstain: 0
- Result: Motion passed.
