(Walker was in his quarters as his commbadge chirped. The noise sounded very odd as he hadn't heard it go off in quite some time. The Victory had been off duty for a couple of weeks but he expected a new mission assignment sometime during the day)
Walker: =^= Walker here. =^=
Magellan: =^= Sorry to disturb you but your new assignment is in as promised Jeff =^=
Walker: =^= Thanks, you've made my day (walker joked)
Magellan: =^= Anyways you are to proceed to Arlemo II. The Federation would like to sign a peace treaty with them. They appear to be developing some weapons and we believe that the peace treaty will allow us to keep a close eye on this culture. Though we haven't had any conflicts with them either so its not just that reason. It should be a painless assignment. =^=
Walker: =^= Great my favorite kind. Walker out =^=
(Walker got out of bed slowly as he had just woken up from a deep sleep. He tidied himself up and went up to the bridge.)
Walker: Alright everyone we have our new assignment in finally. Spedmo set course for Arlemo II.
(Spedmo quickly typed in the commands and before Walker could blink the course was layed in)
Spedmo: Course layed in sir.
Walker: Engage.
(The Victory sped off in warp speed as they headed to Arlemo II)
OFF: Sorry for the delay folks. I wanted to try and give the other crewmembers some time to report in but it seems they are either away with exams or enjoying their vacations. I'll email them and see where I get but otherwise lets make do with what we have here. Feel free to add on everyone!

The last three weeks had shot by.
Jones was sat once again in his office reviewing data from different areas of the ship, it seemed one ensign had split a container of an acidic mixture bound for engineering and there were some nasty chemical burns down there, Jones sent 4 nurses down there with the appropriate equipment and had remained in sickbay, he liked them to do there own call outs so they learned how to control situations and meant Jones was less of a integral part of the team but merely a member.
But for now he would be busy at least he had hear down the grapevine where and why they were going and decided to familiarize himself with the correct xenobiology reports concerning these people so he would know exactly what was needed if they were to receive ambassadors. As for this weapon he had heard of he just hoped no casualties would arise from that.
A peaceful mission would be a nice change, but the victory could not even dock quietly without having some form of violence and action, Jones loved the action, but hated the innocent being hurt, that was what separated him from most klingons. And one of the reasons for his medical training, the things he had seen and done were to much to ignore.

Arriving on the bridge Sokath was informed by Captain Walker about their new mission. Sokath had been in his quarters when the ship entered warp but he had soon made his way to the bridge to find out the details of the latest mission. All the crew had been well rested over the past few weeks and both the captain and the xo were sure that they would be aching for some sort of action, there is a limit to the joys of a space station and the holosuite. With this in mind the pair decided to hold a briefing within the next hour or so. Being outside current federation territory it was going to take the Victory at least 2days to get to the Arlemo system, time enough to get the crew back into some kind of well organized running machine.
=^= Sokath to all senior staff members, you are to report to the briefing room at 1000 hours. Details of our mission will be given to you at this time, Sokath out =^=
With Sokath now on the bridge Walker returned to his ready room to compile the briefing, leaving the Vulcan in charge.
Ooc: sorry for the lack of posting but as u will see, with results being released in the next day or so, I have just finished running an inspection of the fleet, and also completing me A-level exams.

Jones heard the xo over the comm system and rose form his chair and went into main sickbay.
"Kappoor Keep an eye on the chemical situation, i have to go to a briefing! should find out what exactly will be required of us on this one"
"Ok Jones, and tell majeski if you see her that we need the surgical equipment all serviced up as its long over due."
"Will do."
Jones left sickbay and headed for the briefing room.

Off: You are all lucky i still have to sit another A level paper tomorow.

Samantha returned to engineering as soon as she heard the call they were leaving spacedock. She wanted to be there when the warpcore was engaged; it hadn’t been used in the last few weeks. Diagnostics had said that it was in perfect order but she preferred to be there. She arrived in engineering followed in by a few officer, there was now the full crew compliment in engineering now they were setting of their mission.
She walked over to the station next to the warpcore and watched as the warpcore was activated. She looked down at the console below her. The readings indicated that the warpcore was working at it’s best efficiency. She continued to watch the console as the ship entered warp towards there next mission.
A young officer came up to her and handed her a report. It was an initial incident form on an ensign had split some acid-based mixture that the engineering had requested. The ensign was currently being treated for chemical burns in sickbay.
“Thank you,” she said as she handed the PAD back to the ensign. She turned around and headed into her office and her combadge bleeped informing her of the upcoming briefing. Samantha walked into her office her desk was very tidy with very few reports on it probably because they were mainly scattered across her table in quarters.
She headed back to her quarter to do a bit of tiding up before the briefing. She decided if she didn’t do it now it wouldn’t get it done. She headed up to the briefing room. She stepped into the turbolift and saw Jimmy stood in the lift.
“I guess your going to the briefing,” she commented. He nodded.
Off: I’ve just finished going my AS exams as well. I hope all your exams went well and you get the grades you want.

(Walker to his surprise entered the briefing room to a full room. He figured that some would not attend with all of the departments still getting organized. Walker approached the replicator on the wall and typed in his command code. The replicator produced a few padds with the mission briefing on it)
Walker: I know you're all busy with your department so I will not hold you here. Take the time to read this mission briefing. It is more diplomatic than anything. Surprising for this ship.
(The crew seemed just as surprised as Walker about this. With that Walker left the briefing room and proceeded to the bridge)
Walker: Time to arrival Mr. Fredmo?
(Fredmo checked his console)
Fredmo: Approximately 22 minutes sir.
Walker: Excellent.
(The bridge continued to work hard as the consoles chirped all around him. Walker though had barely anything to do as he had no reports to complete yet. Just as promised 22 minutes later the Victory arrived at Arlem II)
Fredmo: Sir we have arrived at Arlem II. Population 1 Million.
Walker: Thank You Mr. Fredmo. Hail them Mr. Gypsy.
Gypsy: They have responded on audio sir.
Walker: Greetings Arlem II I am Captain Walker, CO of the Victory.
Deglak: I am in-charge of Arlem II Walker. I am Deglak.
Walker: Very good, shall I transport down to your coordinates?
Deglak: No, you will take a shuttle down Walker.
Walker: ...Very well..
Deglak: Deglak out.
Sokath: And we're signing a treaty with them?
Walker: Now you know why I'd rather be in a battle with Ferengis than sign peace treaties. Alright the away team will consist of Steve, Jimmy Jones, and myself.
Steve: Will we bring weapons?
(Walker had a tough time with this question)
Walker: No.. We are going down to sign a peace treaty.
Steve: Aye sir.
Walker: Commander Sokath, you have the bridge.
(Walker led the away team down to the shuttle bay. As he walked down the hallway he saw a few lights flickering but thought nothing of it seeing as there was still some departments getting themselves organized. When they reached the shuttle bay doors he tapped the button. The door didn't open)
Walker: What the he**.
(Walker pressed the button again and it opened halfway before stopping again. Walker pushed the door open the rest of the way)
Walker: OK lets board Shuttle II.
(Steve snuck a phaser into his leg holster with no one seeing)
(Walker tapped the comm device on the wall of the shuttlebay but nothing happened. Walker rolled his eyes and used his own commbadge)
Walker: =^=Engineering there are a few glitches on deck 12.=^=
Parker: =^=We aren't detecting anything here sir.=^=
Walker: =^=Well never the less please send a team to rectify the problem.=^=
Parker: =^=Right away sir.=^=
(The away team entered the shuttle and got strapped into their seats)
Walker: =^= Ops we're ready for take off =^=
Ops: =^= Aye Aye sir. =^=
(The shuttle bay doors began slowly opening when it stopped halfway)
Walker: =^= The door has stopped opening. =^=
Ops: =^= It is shown as being fully open =^=
Walker: =^= Apparently your console is malfunctioning then =^=
(The door resumed opening and the shuttle exited the Victory)
(Steve looked like he was in deep thought)
Walker: Something wrong Commander.
Steve: Well lets just say this species isn't as peaceful as we may hope it is. After reading the briefing I went onto the intel database and found that several ships have been infected with computer viruses. Though it isn't conclusive that it is from Arlem II. It has really only been two ships. One of which is prone to engineering problems.
Walker: Thank you for keeping me informed...
(The shuttle advanced towards Arlem II at thruster speed)

Jones wasn’t aware of the reasoning behind taking a shuttle but it made him nervous as these people were devolping weapons and shuttles are not known for there strength. and the captain seemed in deep thought about the news about the computer virus so jones decided not to question it.
Jones considered himself a serious physician and had sworn the Hippocratic oath and followed it, but he also was aware of the value of self defence, before he had become a doctor he had seen many in battle die defending doctors and medics when the were roaming about, and this made Jones always go armed on all missions.
Thus the news about no weapons was not welcomed by him, although he had seen the Intel officer stash one Jones thought it would affect his creditability as a doctor to do the same (people didnt seemed to trust klingon doctors much, especially if they were hiding arms) but Jones had filled his med kit with sedatives and various other pieces of equipment if the going got tough although in a range shoot out he would be in serious trouble.
But Jones put this from his mind as they began to pass through the atmosphere he looked through the front of the shuttle at the planet below as it took shape with glimpses of cities between clouds, Jones wondered where they were making weapons, in no doubt Steve knew.
=^= shuttle Bellagio, to ground control permission to commence final approach=^=
=^= Permission granted land in terminal 37 at these coordinates. =^=
=^= Roger ground control Bellagio out. =^=
The pilot tapped some buttons and the shuttle swung around slightly and they slowed down as they broke through the final cloud layer.
Out.

Samantha grabbed a tool kit and turned to nearest officer, Kieran Goodwin.
“Lt Goodwin your in charge of engineering until I get back, ensign Harrison and Lt Sarok come with me,” said Sam as she headed towards the door in a hurry. The two officers grabbed a tool kit each and rushed after her. Sam led the way down the corridor and into the turbolift.
“Deck 12,” she requested and the turbolift began to move.
“May I ask what the problem is?” said Lt Sarok.
“There have been a few malfunctions on deck 12 including communications systems and the doors,” informed Sam, “From what I’ve heard I think there is something up with the computer interface on that deck.”
“I ran several diagnostics on the computer interface before we left, it was in perfect order,” commented ensign Harrison surprised that this was malfunctioning. Sam had seen those reports and the system was in working order.
“We’ll check the system anyway,” she said as they walked out of the turbolift, “We will start at where the problems were reported.”
“Lt Sarok you go up to the control room and check the system up there, Harrison you check the comm device and I will check the mechanism on the door,” she said. Sarok walked off and Harrison and Sam headed to the door. Sam pressed the panel and the door slid open perfectly and Harrison entered the room and walked over to the comm. panel which seemed to also be working perfectly now.
Sam took out her tricorder and ran a scan over the console and all the readings seemed normal. Sam tapped her commbadge.
=/\= Cmdr Parker to Lt Sarok =/\=
=/\= Lt Sarok here =/\=
=/\= Report =/\=
=/\= The system is in full working order and scans relive nothing =/\=

=/\= Could you look over the sensor reading from the time that the systems failures occurred on deck 12, inform me of anything unusual =/\=
=/\= Yes, Ma’am, =/\=
Sam walked over to Harrison and the door shut behind her.
“Anything?” she asked. Harrison shook her head. Then Sam turned as the shuttle bay door opened, she tapped her commbadge.

Steve looked out the window and saw a cluster of landing pads, he didn't know what one his shuttle would be landing on but he did know that there was lots of them. "Sir, take a look at this, theirs 100's of them" "What do you make of it commander?" "Without knowing more I can only guess that they have alot of shuttles landing here and not many transports, there must have been a big reason why we weren't allowed to transport, any idea sir?" "None at all Steve"
The shuttle touched down and the door to the shuttled opened. A man dressed in dark cloths was there to meet them, with two armed soldiers. "Welcome to Arlem II, my orders are to take you captain to see Mr Deglak wile my men will see to your people" Walker looked at Steve, Steve had known Walker long enough to know what that look meant. Walker spoke "My men will be joining me, Steve has the highest level of clearance within Starfleet and my doctor is an expert in your people." Walker had to say something, he did not want he people split up on an alien world. "Very well, follow me and I will take you to see Mr Deglak" And with that the away team followed to me Mr Deglak.

Jones fell in behind the captain and steve, he unfolded his tricorder discreetly and began scanning the people around him, they all fitted with the infromationhe had reviewed about there species.
Jones threw a medical vial under the shuttle as they walked away, with nobody watching that contained a radioactive substance that he could track on to from a great distance, so if they shut down the transponder on the shuttle they would be able to get the dierection of the padd easily, but if they moved the shuttle then there might be problems.
Jones had intel training and could tell something was up but there was oittle he could do or say at the momnent so he tried to blend into the background hoping there escort would forget the doctor as a threat so if the proverbial S**T hit the fan jones would be underestimated thus the danger he would make would be increaesd.

With the captain and the away team now on the planet Sokath was ensuring that the ships sensors were tracking them. But within minutes of the team reaching the planets surface the op’s officer reported some disturbing news.
“sir” gestured the op’s officer.
“yes lieutenant, what is it” replied Sokath as he rose from the captains chair and moved towards the op’s station.
“it’s the away team sir, they have just entered the main hanger and although I’m still tracking their life signs I don’t seem to have a transporter lock on them. I wouldn’t normally be worried but I see no reason why I can’t get a lock” informed the lieutenant.
“keep working on getting the lock back, but I see no logical reason to worry, it is most likely some sort of scattering field they have set up to prevent unwanted visitors, but keep me informed”
“aye sir”

(Walker and the away team followed an officer to Deglak's office. After a long walk down a couple of flights of stairs and through a few hallways they came to a room at the end of a corridor. The officer pressed a button on the door and a voice sounded)
Deglak: You may enter.
(The door slid open to reveal a huge office. Deglak sat behind a large desk and 5 guards stood scattered around the room)
Walker: Greetings Mr. Deglak, I am Captain Walker here to represent the Federation.
Deglak: Welcome to Arlem II.
(Deglak store confused at Jones and Steve)
Walker: Sorry, these are a couple of my officers. This is our medical officer Commander Jones. And this is.. our exobiologist Commander Steve.
(Deglak appeared to unbelieving but he went along with it)
Deglak: Alright.
Walker: So shall we begin then?
(Deglak interupted)
Deglak: Captain.. we are getting some very awkward readings from your ship.
Walker: Is that right?
Deglak: Yes, I'm surprised your ship hasn't contacted you.
(Walker tapped his commbadge but it wasn't responding. Jones and Steve did the same with the same result)
Walker: May I use your communication system Deglak?
Deglak: Of course, but for a small price.
Walker: What is it?
Deglak: I want your ship.
(Walker knew there was trouble coming with this)
Walker: Well then you won't mind if we go back to our shuttle then. Because we sure as hell aren't giving up our ship.
Deglak: You will sit.
(The security officers surrounded Walker, Steve, and Jones)
Walker: What the he** do you think you're doing?
Deglak: Just going to collect. Afterall we do have a peace treaty. If you'll just sign there.
(Two phasers were held to Walker's head as he signed the treaty unwillingly)
Deglak: I'm glad we didn't need to make this bloody. Now you will contact Starfleet and tell them of our sucessful peace treaty.
Walker: Why?
Deglak: As far as they know you should be on the way back to base. Little do they know the Victory is now Arlem II's property.
Walker: Forget you, I'm not telling Starfleet anything.
Deglak: You will or we will cut life support off to the Victory right now. Your choices are limited Captain Walker. If you contact them I will have your crew transported down here where they will work for Arlem II.
(With no choice Walker made the safest desicion)
Walker: Alright get them on screen.
(A security officer pushed some buttons on a screen and a Starfleet logo appeared. Magellan appeared on the viewscreen)
Magellan: =^= Greetings Captain, how did the signing go?=^=
Walker: =^= Great.. we are on our way back now...=^=
Magellan: =^= Alright, we look forward to your arrival, Magellan out =^=
(The screen went black. Deglak faced one of his officers)
Deglak: Get their crew down to the planet and let me know when your done.
(Walker wondered what would become of his away team and himself)

Jones was stunned, he was sure this couldn’t be real, the captain had not even asked for proof if they could even disable life support in the victory and Jones wondered if this was involved then problems with systems before they left and he didn’t even seem to try to convey a message to the admiral. Steve seemed as confused as Jones but that could easily have been an act. The room was quiet; Deglak seemed to be taking a moment to enjoy what he had achieved so simply. Now he had to decide what to do with this captain and his friends, the one claiming to be a doctor was a klingon and Deglak whilst having little dealings with them thought it strange as he couldn’t believe any klingon physician would reach Starfleet levels of competence. And who brought an exobiology expert to peace treaty talks; it seemed so ridiculous it might be true.
Deglak started tapping buttons on his console and brought up Jones file and it seemed legitimate, Deglak decided this just must be all coincidence and if the CO of his new ship had expected trouble there would have been more of a fight.
Deglak smiled, all three captives stared back coolly but inside Jones was wondering what on earth could happen next.
"Well gentlemen you all have your purposes in my plans so we shall not delay."
Out.

Samantha watched the door close again in curiosity of what was going on. She knew that she was safe with the force field being up behind the door. She pulled out her own tricorder and scanned around paying special attention to scanning the door mechanisms. Ensign Harrison continued to look over the control panel. She couldn’t find anything on her tricorder.
“The system seems to working perfectly, I don’t understand why this is happening,” commented Ensign Harrison.
“The tricorder reading are also normal,” commented Samantha, “I am going to speak to Lt Sarok, you continue to run diagnostics on the system.”
Harrison nodded and Sam headed out of the shuttlebay and to the control room. She entered the room and saw Lt Sarok and two other officers stood over a control panel.
“Have you got anything?” she asked. She hoped they had come up with something, but she expected they wouldn’t have. If there was some sort of simple error, it could be fixed easily. But if they couldn’t even track down the problem, how could they hope to fix it.
“We have run an diagnostic, all result are with in normal parameters,” answered Sarok. She decided that this problem wasn’t going to be as easy to fix as she had first thought. She now headed to engineering to check up to see if Lt Goodwin had found anything and to run some more extensive diagnostics.
She had just entered the turbolift and requested Engineering when her commbadge bleeped.
=/\= Commander Parker report, have you found anything yet? =/\=
=/\= Sorry, I have found nothing; all scans show systems seem to be working probably. I am currently heading back to engineering to run further diagnostics =/\=
=/\= Understood, keep me informed =/\=
=/\= Aye sir =/\=
The comm. channel was shut and Sam entered engineering. Lt Goodwin came charging towards her screaming, “I think I have something, I think I have something.”
He stopped in front of her and handed her a PAD.
“Look, there was a transmission every time a system failed,” he informed enthusiastically while pointing out data from the PAD.
“Do you know where the transmission is coming from?” Sam asked as she stared at the data.
“We are currently tracking that down,” he answered.

Jones had been dragged away to a cell on his own, he was given some rations and left alone.
Jones slumped down against the wall and wondered where the captain was or steve as he had last seen them walking in a different dierection.
When Jones was in starfleet inteligence he had learnt to escape from some of the most hightech cells made but this was incredibley low tech, his only escape was through a thick metal door with a lock on the outside, there was no window and a guard was stood outside the door.
Jones' first thought was to wait untill a guard came overpower him and escape but the rooms only furniture was a matress on the floor. (Not very good for whacking people around the head) and they had guns.
Jones moved on to the matress and layed down, he had no idea what was going on, on the ship or the whereabouts of the rest of the crew.
Jones decided to wait.

(After the transmission to Magellan the guards approached the away team. Two guards escorted each officer and all walked in seperate directions as the away team was taken out of the room. Walker struggled to push the guards away but they used some sort of tasor on him that knocked Walker unconscious. The other officers seemed to put up a fight too but were unsucessful. Walker woke up to his surprise of a brig. Walker wondered how long he had been in there as he couldn't remember much that happened. Walker got off of the old matress laying on the floor and dizzily stammered to the brig door. He tryed to look out of the window on the top of the door but could only see a dark corridor. Walker felt as if he had been drugged. He tried to regain his balance but fell to the floor and passed out once again. Later in the day Walker woke again. He got up and banged on the brig door as hard as he could. A guard approached and used the intercom system from the door to the brig)
Guard: What is your problem prisoner!?
Walker: I want to talk to Deglak now.
Guard: Deglak is too busy to deal with puny starfleet officers like you.
Walker: why don't you come in here and say that?
(The guard seemed disgusted with Walker but also understood Deglak's orders not to let Walker out of his cell. For what seemed like a couple of days Walker had had very little to eat and drink and felt very weak. The cell was hot and humid causing walker to spend most of his time lying down. Though all he had done is lie down he had also been watching the window to see if Deglak had come by with no success until this point. He saw a couple of guards with Deglak as he passed the hallway. Walker yelled Deglak as loud as he could to try to grab his attention. Deglak paced back to Walker's cell)
Deglak: I really don't have time for your pettty starfleet negotiations right now. We have more important issues such as taking your nice nebula class ship. The ship is now half infiltrated.
Walker: Your bluffing aren't you?
Deglak: It isn't one of my habits.
Walker: Well if you let me out of here I can help you.
Deglak: Is that right? How do you intend to help me you starfleet scum?
Walker: Well I doubt you know as much information on starfleet as I do. And don't you think I'd rather spend my time helping you to gain profit rather than spending the rest of my life starving and dehydrated?
(Deglak thought about it but was hesitant because he didn't want walker or any other member of the away team to get away)
Deglak: You and your away team may come in handy soon but not until I indicate so.
(Deglak walked away with his head held high)

Jones felt uneasy he had been ignored for so long, he didn’t know why the victory had not attempted rescue or why he had not had contact or heard the guards talking about any captured crew.
Jones was moved from this pessimistic thought by the arrival of none other than Deglek.
“Hello Doctor I have been having some productive talks with your people and it seems that some are willing to aid me in my plans. I was just wondering whether we could start with something simple, like the explanation of this tricorder"
Jones head was rushing he had to find out more about the plans and get the new back to the captain or Starfleet Intel but he also need to escape."
"Who is going to help you?"
"You answer my questions doctor."
Jones decided it was now or never.
"It’s a simple medical device that can be switched to achieve various functions."
"How would I scan you?"
"I am surprised you don’t know how it works surely you have used a tricorder before."
"I am familiar with them but this medical equipment is new to me." Jones suspected a trap but he could sense no lies form Deglak.
"Well to enter to its base system like the tricorder everyone use, where you will be familiar, is simple, pass it here and I will show you" Jones said as he reached out for the tricorder.
"For now you will just tell me."
"Well press the yellow key twice and the blue once."
Deglak handed it to guard with a nod and he perfumed the function, and then passed it back.
"Well doctor it is just flashing."
"Not again it’s the detachable scanner probable got something stuck in the end like a bit of dirt." Jones said this casually and Deglak with no prompting popped it out and looked into the end of the scanner Jones darted forward and pressed the tricorder Deglek had let slip by his side. A blue pulse was emitted into Deglek eye make him fall, Jones caught his body and pulled out his side weapon and shot the two guards who were still in shock k at this sudden turn of events.
Jones picked up the tricorder and left his cell, slamming the door behind him and turning the lock, Jones tapped some more buttons to disable the feedback loop he had created that was realised though the scanner and changed his tricorder to scan for the radioactive substance he had dropped beneath the shuttle.
According to his cans Jones was a not to far away Jones broke into a run turning corners into different corridors whilst tying to keep heading for the shuttle. Jones found the corridors to be near deserted and encountered only one guard who fired wildly at the screaming doctor who then broke his neck.
Jones turned into another corridor and realised he knew where he was. sprinting up to the landing padd he saw that the shuttle had gone, Jones bent down and picked up the phial he ad been tracing and threw it away as hard as he could, Jones checked to see if the shuttle transponder was still active But had no luck, but for now he was safe as no alarm had been tripped, but he didn’t have long, Jones decided that it would take to long to find the captain and Steve without the improved sensors of the shuttle and its transports.
Jones growled and left through a different door to the rest of the landing bays in the hop of finding the shuttle.
Out.

Samantha walked over to the console with Kieran Goodwin. He showed her the transmission and she began to run programs to try and track it down. She had spent hours trying to do this, but she could only track it down to the planet and no further.
Over the several hours, she had spent analysing and trying to tracking down the transmission, antigravity had gone down on deck 3, deck 5 ended flood with orange juice when the replicators just started pouring it out, doors weren’t working all over the ship and one officer and his bed entered up in the centre of engineering when the transporters malfunctioned. Officers had been sent to check out each of the errors and they had found that everything was in working order. The only thing was there was a transmission from the planet each time.
But she had tracked down where the transmission was directed to on the ship, the main computer. It was activating some sort of code in there. She was now running though the systems and the code seemed to be spreading though the systems. She believed the errors where someone testing how much their virus had already infiltrated their system for some sort of attack on the ship.
She inputted the information into a PAD and headed up to the bridge. She was glad that the turbolift hadn’t been affected yet; she didn’t want to climb up all those ladders to the bridge. The door slid open and an officer came rushing past her. The bridge seemed very hectic. She walked over to ops to speak to Speedo.
“What’s going on?” she asked.
“We haven’t had any contact with the away team since they left the ship,” answered Speedo with out looking up from his console. Samantha headed towards Sokath who was sat in the centre of the bridge. She hand him the PAD.
“There’s the update on the ships malfunctions,” reported Sam.

Jones had no luck with finding the shuttle; he had no leads and was beginning to think it would be easier to locate the captain and Steve when he heard people approaching, as they turned the corner Jones ducked in behind a bulkhead.
"Apparently since we rigged it up things have been improving, you been busy?"
"Not really I am just there to make sure nobody can locate it, it’s been dull after the initial deactivation process"
"Oh well we best hurry up are shift started 5 Quibilbs ago"
Jones watched as they passed him and he followed them discreetly for a short time, they went down some steps to an underground workshop. There was no security here whiched shocked Jones but they had nobody to fear.
Jones stopped dead at what he saw, the shuttle was a mess of wires and a crowd of people were playing with it. Jones looked at the computer consoles all around the room.
This was obviously why they had not been allowed to beam down, Jones saw all his equipment as well as steves and the captains on a table, They even had steves phaser Jones stuck to the shadows but there was little need as people there were so absorbed in there jobs. Jones flicked open a tricorder and set it to scan to shuttle, grabbed the phaser and a commbadge and his med kit in case when he found the captain he was hurt.
But his plan to use the shuttle seemed impracticable, Jones lipped out and up the stairs, the whole complex seemed quiet as if the normal crew were somewhere else, which was lucky as nobody had set the alarm. Jones climbed into a sort of air vent.
**************Meanwhile************
Deglek had made the guards hammer on the door for attention for nearly the entire duration of there incarceration. Deglek had lost the sight in his eye and wanted blood.
The second guard also arrived late for his shift and at first ignored the banging thinking it was a mad klingon.
"Listen here if you don’t shut up I am going to..."
"WHAT" Deglek shouted back?
"Oh my, I will have you out now sir"
"Raise the alarm you fool and bring me my doctor, AND FIND THAT BLOODY DOCTOR"
******************************
Jones had sat with his tricorder and commbadge for a while now trying to remember his basic engineering training.
The alarm had been sounding for a while now but he thought he was ready. He had decided to record a message and send it covertly in one burst to make it harder for it to be found or traced.
=^= Jones to victory if anyone is there the captain Steve and myself have been captured I have made an escape with hopes of retrieving the shuttle but it appears to be used for an experiment I have set up a tricorder to scan the ship I have enclosed the coordinates for you o make a recovery of the information, we need assistance down here the captain and Steve are in danger as I have annoyed the leader of these people, Warn Starfleet and send assistance, Next contact 2 hours from now with a window of 5 minutes before for any reply form you end. Hope you are safe Jones out.=^=

Sokath read though the report and nodded for Samantha to return to engineering. “We are picking up a transmission from the planet,” said Speedo from the ops station. “Let’s here it,” ordered Sokath. “The signal’s weak, I will need to amplify it,” informed Speedo. Samantha quickly moved up towards the engineering console on the bridge. “I’ll give you hand with that,” she said as she quickly worked the console trying to improve the signal. Her and Speedo were working unison to clear up the signal. “I think we can play the signal back,” she said as Speedo opened the comm. signal. Samantha could here Jimmy’s voice coming over the comm. system, it was still fussy and Sam continued to clear up the signal, but she listened as he spoke. Hope you are safe Jones out.=^= As Samantha heard the comm. signal a theory of why she couldn’t track down the transmissions came to her. She put the co-ordinates into her program for tracking down the transmissions and waited for a response. Meanwhile Sokath and Speedo were drafting a response for Jimmy and message for Starfleet. Sam looked at the screen as the results appeared. The last sets of transmissions were all coming from that location the rest where coming form locations all over the planet. She had first though they were redirecting the signal though different transmitter. Now she guessed they had been testing for the best location and decided upon on the shuttle as it was the most compatible with their systems. It also explained why the signals were getting more frequent. Samantha headed over to Sokath and Speedo to explain her theory. As she walked over she could see they were having difficulty with the comm. system. Speedo turned noticing Sam coming towards them. “The comm. system appears to be malfunctioning,” he informed her. She didn’t think this was a coincidence and was quickly proved right as she picked up another transmission from the planet. Sam went under the console and pulled of the panel. “Pass me a tool kit,” she said to anyone near by. A young ensign picked her up a tool kit and passed it to Samantha. She grabbed a tool and began to work quickly as there wasn’t much time until Jimmy closed the comm. channel. Speedo quickly realised what Sam was up to and gave her a hand with it. “I’ve re-routed the system, it will just hold long enough to get a short signal to planet,” she informed a minute later. “What about a message to Starfleet?” Sokath asked. “Sorry, but that’s going to take a lot more work,” said Sam, “I suggest we tell him to shutdown the shuttle and then we might get our systems back, while the transmission is coming from there.” Sokath nodded and they sent a message to Jimmy.

With the report of the captains abduction the ship went to red alert. The bridge crew were working franticly to maintain the com link to Jones down on the planet, but despite their efforts the link only lasted a few seconds.
Sokath was now faced with a tricky decision, to risk another away team in an attempt to rescue the captain and the rest of the away team, or to wait and try to regain contact with the surface and find out what they were playing at. In the end the decision was an easy one to make, a new away team was made ready.
With the co-ordinates sent by Jones the second away team would be able to retrieve the stolen equipment, and maybe salvage what was left of the shuttle.
“Sam I need you to workout how we can defend against these computer attacks from the surface, I don’t want any more of our key systems going down whilst we’re attempting a rescue. Gypsy I need you to take command of the second away team and get our people back.” Commanded the first officer
ooc: I know gypsy is on LOA but I figured we’d need one of the main crew on the away team, and I didn’t want to not have the CEO on the ship with everythin that’s goin on. I think it would be ok for people to post using Gypsy until he returns and is able to use the character himself, kind of as an NPC.

Jones was happy to hear the victory was still intact, with the alarm sounding more guards were running around the complex.
Jones reviewed the last transmission from the victory and looked through the grill to see two guards stood close to there point of arrival.
As the blue haze signalling the arrival of the new team appeared, Jones braced himself for what he had to do to stop the team being killed before being fully beamed in.
"MORE ARE BEAMING IN" A guard shouted
Jones leapt out of the vent firing his phaser at the first and smacking the seconded with his full weight, Jones felt phaser fire fly above his head as gypsy and her team repulsed the guards who had responded to the shout.
Jones rolled over with the guard on top of him, tussling Jones managed to regain his composure and thrust his fist into the guards face.
Gypsy grabbed the stunned guard and hauled him upright off Jones.
"There you go doc."
"Thank you, the shuttle is down those steps, be careful there are lots of people down there and they will be aware of your approach now."
"Then captian and Steve."
"Unknown I was going to search for them with the shuttle; we thought the victory was down, I was told they were in control."
"They nearly are we need to reclaim the shuttle."
Gypsy threw the guard into the arms of a member of the security team.
"Where is our captain being held?"
The guard looked at gypsy and smiled.
"Go to hell"
Jones got up and patted himself down he was feeling a mixture of fatigue and anger after his ordeal, stretching in a yawn Jones let out a low growl. The guard mistook this noise as a threat and the colour drained from his face as he looked at the bruised klingon.
"Ok, I’ll talk. He is in the upper level on security building three. Your other officer is in the lower levels in building 1 close toy where you were kept. I am just a prison guard called to find an escapee please don’t hurt me I am following orders."
The security officer let the man drop. Gypsy set her phaser to stun and shot the guard.
"That will keep him quiet while we get to work. Doctor takes two men and gets the captain and Steve out, hopefully they won’t expect you in the prison block so you should be able to cope and I will make enough noise to distract them."
Jones nodded and took a rifle off a crewmen checked it was set to kill; He had a score to settle.
"Let’s move people" Gypsy called and everyone set off at as run.
Jones’ companions fell in behind to follow the doctor who seemed to know his way. Jones thought to himself that the captain being an ex marine would want Deglek’s blood and Jones wanted nothing more than to help
out.

Samantha returned to engineering where she began to work on the task of stopping the spread of the program and a way of removing it from their systems. She believed if the connect between them and the shuttle could be sieved she could stop any further connection.
She grabbed a tool kit and headed to the communication relays to create a kind of firewall to stop them breaking into there system and it would let in communications from the away team and Starfleet. It was lot more difficult than normal to do this as this system had already been infected.
-------------------------------------------- A little while later ---------------------------------------------
Samantha appeared on the bridge with Lt Goodwin.
“Speedo could I have access to your console,” she asked. Speedo moved out of the way and Lt Goodwin began his work. Samantha walked over to the engineering console ready to counter any attack on the computer when the comm. signal from the shuttle went down.
“Upgrades complete,” informed Lt Goodwin. Now all they had to do was wait.
It was long before Speedo informed her the signal had been severed. Samantha had to work fast to try and counter the attacks on the system, her hand moved fast across the console. It seemed like hours she had been staring at that console countering the attacks on the computer in fact it had only been a few minutes.
“There’s a shuttle coming from the planet,” informed Speedo.
“Is it are shuttle?” asked Sokath.
“No, the design is unfamiliar,” he answered, “And it’s hailing.”
“On screen,” ordered Sokath.
Deglak face appeared on the screen and he looked angry.
“I am here to collect my property,” he said. Sokath looked at him blankly raising an eyebrow.
“Your ship as it is stated on our peace treaty,” Deglak continued. Holding up a PAD that clearly stated that the ship belonged to him. Deglak and Walker also had signed it.
“I cannot give you the ship,” Sokath said in a calm manner.
“Your have no choice,” Deglak said with a smile. Samantha console began to bleep.
“Life-support is going down on all decks,” said Samantha. Sokath signalled for the comm. signal to be cut.
“Can you restore the system?” asked Sokath.
“I need time,” answered Sam.
“That’s one thing we don’t have much off,” commented Lt Goodwin worried.

(Walker stood in his cell looking around for anyways to get out of the cell. However after much searching it was pretty safe to suspect there was no way out aside from the entrance. Even though Captain Walker had no way of telling time with all of his devices taken from him he figured he would have atleast seen a guard come by by now. But the area was eerily quiet. Walker's hope was that maybe his away team was on there way to get him out. But on the other hand he knew it was a possibility that the guards had taken control of the Victory and abandoned his crew at the planet prison. Walker felt helpless, unable to get out of the cell. So he continued doing the only thing he could do. That was to pound on the door in hope of someone hearing) Off: Sorry, not much for me to post right now except whats going on mentally. Keep the posts coming

Jimmy Kicked the door of the captain’s cell through the journey there had been uneventful and a manifest made the captains location easy to find.
"Jones what is the situation?"
"Faraday is releasing Steve now sir, it appears the reason they wanted us to come by shuttle is so they could establish a stronger link for there new weapon, The victory appears intact sir although Mr Deglek will be blind in one eye due to the means of my escape so I think the crew will suffer."
Jones reeled off as he handed the captain a commbadge and a phaser rifle.
"Well doctor we best get out of here."
=^= Walker to victory, beam us up=^=
Everybody paused while they awaited to be transported.
=^= Victory Come in =^=
"They must have done something sir, maybe we were to late to the shuttle."
"We head for Gypsy, lets regroup, and we move from there. They will not take my ship." Walker commanded. “Oh and doctor where is host.”
“Unknown sir I left him sir I assumed you would have bore the brunt of his rage.”
“He will feel mine doctor.”
Jones fell in behind the CO. wondering what on earth was going on up there.
