Luke was on the bridge. He manned the engineering station. He noticed that the engines reaaly were getting damaged. The warning light for a coolant leak lit up Luke's console.
"Captain!" he yelled. "The coolant system is going critical! If we lose it the core will breach!" "Shut the core down!" commanded Soto. "Aye Sir," said Luke. He did the task. In engineering the blue turqoise that usually gave the warp core life ceased to flow.
Luke was glad they weren't dead. But they could be if they didn't get away from the anomoly.
"It's pulling us in!" yelled Amhil. Sure enough of it's own accord the Olympia hurtled toward the anomoly. The bridge of the Olympia was washed with white light from the anomoly. "Entering the anomoly!" shouted Amhil and then a feeling of weightlessness came over the crew. Luke looked around. Everything was in slow motion. And then, after about 10 seconds of being in the anomoly the feeling stopped.
The Olympia was thrust out of the anomoly and then the anomoly sealed itself. On the viewscreen there was the strangest image. It looked like space but the space was filled with thousands of colours. Colours Luke had never seen before. "Where are we?" said Soto. "300 million lightyears from our former position," said Amhil and she looked like tears were about to erupt from her eyes.

"300 million lightyears from our former position." Amhil said, looking up. The bridge fell silent, the red light of the red alert and the strange colors from the view screen illuminating the faces of those present. In the half darkness it gave the bridge a creepy look. Amhil suppressed a shiver, swallowed and regained her posture.
"The anomaly has closed."
"Damage report?" Commodore Soto asked, shock and disbelief written on his face, like everybody else.
"Coming in now.." The Tactical Officer said, looking at his station. "The warpcore and weapons are offline. We are running on emergency power."
"Long range sensors are also offline." Amhil added. 'We have survived so far, so this isn't a good time to panic, Amhil.' She told herself. Relaxing her hands, which were still holding the console, a bit.
Commodore Soto swallowed, this was the part he hated the most.
"Casualties?" He asked. The Tactical Officer shook his head.
"To early to tell, Sir....We have several wounded and more are coming in."

"Casualties coming in now Sir!" said the Tactical officer. Soto looked up from his command console. "23 dead and 48 wounded, 12 seriously". Luke couldn't see because of the darkness and the eiree glow from the viewscreen but he was sure the colour drained from Soto's face.

"300 million light years," Trust thought to himself. "How could I let the ship be pulled in? It's all my fault that we are here. If only I had tried harder to escape."
Trust tried to scan the area for any signs of life, none were found.
"Sir there are no ships to aid us we are all alone out here. What is our next move?" asked Trust.
"We need to study the anomoly, but first we need to tend to the injured. Trust, shut down the Olympia's engines to conserve power until engineering fix everything. You will help in repairing any consoles and electronics on the bridge."
"Aye Sir."
Trust shut off the Olympia's engines and then got to work on the nearest burnt out console.

Reviewing the casualtieslist that just came through Soto saw several names of people he became friendly with since he'd been on the Olympia.
It's always hard to lose crewmembers, but strangly enough Soto had come to accept somehow that the work they did was dangerous at times. Nevertheless his shoes became heavier while reading the list.
As he was done reading he stared at the blank viewscreen for a sec, before walking over to ensign Amhil, who was extremely busy finding out what had happened.
"Anything yet, ensign"
"Nothing sir. Because of the anomaly I have to recalibrate the sensorarray first before I can review the data"
"Keep working on it, ensign. When you find out more, please let me know immediately."
Soto headed for sickbay. While leaving the bridge he called to Trust : "You have the bridge lieutenant"
In sickbay the fresh CMO, Dr. Jazire Dax, was working overtime. They had left starbase 47 and originally were heading for bellicose for a refit and recrewing operation, when the anomaly passed their way. So the sickbay was quite understaffed. Soto hadn't gotten a chance yet to properly meet the new CMO. Purmau, the ship's counsellor, was also already there to help where she could.
Soto saw that everything was covered in here, and that there was little he could do. After leaving sickbay, he entered back into the turbolift: "Engineering", he told the computer.

Wiping the sweat from her forehead, Amhil bit her lip and punched in some commands on her console. And sure enough, she got the same message for like the tenth time. Unable to comply. 'Why didn't it work?' She had did everything to make the long range sensors work. Again she raised her hand to wipe her brow. 'Was it just her, or was it really warm in here?' She glanced around the bridge before vanishing under her console. After some zaps and buzzes, she reappeared again a minute later. 'That should do it!' Amhil thought. She pushed a button and received an electric shock. She yelped and jumped back. "Da---....darn it!" Lieutenant Trust No One looked up from the console he was working at. "Need help with that, Ensign?" He asked and Amhil quickly smiled and nodded. "Help would be appreciated, Sir." ~*~*~*~*~ A few minutes later, her console finally worked normally. And 15 minutes later she had also recalibrated the sensorarray. Now that she could finally view the data, she got to the work she was actually supposed to do. She started scanning the anomaly, and the new data appeared on her screen. She had only read the first bit of information when her console flickered and went dead. "What the..?" Amhil frowned. Just as suddenly her console flickered on again. Her frown deepened when she pushed a few buttons to get the data back, but she couldn't find it anywhere. When she tried again to scan the anomaly, the same thing happened. Looking a bit worried, she tapped her comm. badge. "Ensign Amhil to Commodore Soto......." Off: Oh, mystery! If you're wondering why that happened, I haven't got a clue either. You tell me! I just thought that I would make it a bit more interesting

Luke ran around engineering trying to stay on top of the damage. Half of the ships' systems were down.
Commodore Soto walked through the engineering doors. "Report!" he demanded. "Well," said Luke. "Half of the ships systems are down. We are on emergency power. Our best repair teams are repairing the EPS conduits on deck 12. Once they are repaired we should have auxillary power".
Suddenly, there was a violent shake. "Bridge to the Captain, we-" and just then the most awful sound penetrated the ears of the crew. The sound was a mix between wailing and a baby screaming. The crew covered their ears. And then, the shapes of about 10 aliens materialised in engineering.

(This runs parallel with Luke's post)
Amhil stopped suddenly when a few lights lit up on her console. She lowered her hand, forgetting about the comm. badge, and bowed over her station.
"Lieutenant, I'm getting some unusual readings on the starboard side..." She began, looking over to were Lt. Trust No One was busy. The man crawled from under a console and looked at her. Suddenly the ship jolted from side to side and Amhil did a few steps back, trying not to lose her balance. Quickly recovering from the shake she rushed back to her station.
"What just happened?" Lt. Trust No one asked, holding onto the captain's chair.
"A vessel just docked with us!" Amhil shouted over the blaring sirens.
Lt. Trust pressed the comm. button.
"Bridge to the Captain, we-" He began, before the earsplitting sound began. Covering his ears to try and block out the awful noise, the Lieutenant looked over to the Science station, pain and confusion written on his face.
"I'm reading numerous energy signatures on several decks!" Amhil yelled, trying to get heard above the wailing, just as several figures appeared on the bridge.

Luke ducked behind the energy distribution console just as a narrow phaser beam zoomed past his head. He had his phaser out. He popped up and shot at one of the figures that had materialised. It wailed with an earsplitting noise and then fell to the floor.
The firefight continued for several minutes. The figures had killed half of the engineering crew but they had been neutralised.

After the shootout in engineering, Soto made his way to the bridge, while stunning several enemies on the way.
As he entered the bridge he saw trust no-one's head sticking out behind a console. The lieutenant clearly was making sure that the last one of the aliens had been neutralized.
"Report", Soto called.
Trust stood up and straightened his uniform. "It appears we have been boarded by a vessel docked to our port bow. The vessel is still there, so it would seem that all of the ships crew have been part of the boardingparty."
Ensign Amhil added while she walked back to her console:"the screaming sound clearly was used as a sort of stunning weapon. If the pitch of the sound had been a bit higher, we surely would have passed out. Now only a minority of the crew suffered from the effects of the sound."
After pressing a few buttons on her console she remarked:"The ship is of unknown configuration. But it's atmosphere is breathable for most species."
"Very well ensign."
Soto turned to Trust. "Lieutenant I suggest you lead an awayteam to the vessel. Take ensign Amhil and our chief engineer along. Try to find out who they are and what they thought they were doing. I'll try to investigate here via the captured aliens."
"Aye sir", the lieutenant replied.

Luke, Amhil and Trust-no-one materialised on the bridge of the alien vessel. They pulled out their tricorders and began scanning the bridge. The group looked around. The bridge, by federation standards, was very dirty. The bulkheads of the ship were burned and there were pieces of metal lying about the floor. "Looks like they were in battle," said Trust. "That is correct Sir," said Luke. "I am reading fluctuations in this ships power grid and there is evidence of a previous hull breach in the ceiling.
Sudenly, a voice rang out. It was deep and penetrating. "Who?" it said. "Are you?"

Jaz had barely a day to get settled into things before experiancing his first major disaster.
"Lt. Kyles you have only a mild burn on the ankle. You don't need a biobed. Ensign Pars, on the other hand, is bleeding internally- he NEEDS the biobed."
"But Ensign Dax, I am a higher ranking officer there for I-"
"Get out of my sickbay!" Jaz screamed at him, "Now! Get out now!" Kyles slinked out sheepishly. Jaz took a few seconds to breath and regain composure.
"Ensign Dax, we've got a pregnant woman going into labor sir."
Jaz snapped around to look at where the voice had come from, it had come from a young nurse, Ensign Maren: one of the 2 that he had working under him.
"Now?!" He said incredulously.
"Yes, now." She replied, her face wrinkled with concern.
"Can't you tell her to wait a while?"
"Ensign." Maren said with a authoritive tone.
"Right, I know, I know." Jaz looked around desperatly, he couldn't spare anyone. Suddenly he spotted a Commander getting up and flexing his wrist, which seemed to be newly mended. "Cmdr. McDuff!" He exclaimed with a fake smile, "Just the person! Could you do me a favor?" Jaz plunged on without waiting for a response, "Thanks, I've got a lady thats needs some assistance."
He led McDuff over to the pregnant lady who was breathing in a rehearsed manner. "I'm sure Mrs. Moore can coach you through it." Jaz motioned at the pregnant woman. McDuff looked horrified. Jaz walked away.
"Ok," Jaz rubbed his hands together, "I'm a doctor, so yeah...." He walked over to the nearest biobed and looked at the occupant. She was bleeding from the face.
"My console exploded on C-deck. It took me a while to get up here, I'm having trouble seeing straight." She muttered. Her Gold uniform was tinged with blood from her face.
"You've got a lot of blood loss." Jaz reached inside a desk, pulled out a roll of medical bandage and then a medical device. He turned it on and moved it over the wound. It stopped bleeding as much. Then he wrapped the bandage around her head.
"Ms. thats as much as I can do right now. Stay right here untill your think you are ready to go- I mean ready, don't get up untill you are ready- and then you are free to leave." Jaz walked over to the next biobed just as another wave of injured came in.
The nearest one approached him and then fell to the floor. Jaz pulled him over to a chair.
"What happened?" he asked.
"Attackers, materialized, shot- can't-remember."
"Damnit..." The trill doctor muttered before assessing the man's wounds.

Jaz was slightly taken aback by the woman. She looked half cat half human.
"Sorry Miss, but could I ask what species you are?"
She smiled, "I'm sorry, I'm Purmau, and as for my species, I am of Caitian ancestery." Jaz smiled back and then despite the situation took her hand and kissed it as was human tradition even though he was a trill.
"An honor to meet such a bueatiful woman, Miss Purmau. And as for your prior question, yes I do need some assistance. Do you have medical training?"
"Minimal."
"Well then, i've go a job for you. You see that gentlemen over there?" he motioned to McDuff who was still looking quite horrified at the woman who was doing her best to breath normally. "Mrs. Moore, over there, is going into labor. Cmdr. McDuff, I can now see, has no training in that sort of thing. Could you please help Mrs. Moore? I really can't spare anyone right now, pleeeeeese."
Purmau smiled and nodded, "I would be happy to assist her."
Purmau walked over to Mrs. Moore and Jaz, happy that Mrs. Moore was going to have more support than Cmdr. McDuff with her childs birth, continued to treat patients.

The Starfleet officers were startled and whirled around and just on that moment the lights went out, probably duo the power fluctuations. There was a curse from one of them and a crash, but then Amhil switched her flashlight on, followed by Trust and Luke. “What was that?” Luke asked, shining his flashlight across the bridge. But they saw nothing out of the ordinary. Amhil held up her scanner, trying to locate a biosign or something that might tell them where the voice had came from. “I’m reading a strange energy signature, right over..” She turned. “…there.” A figure appeared on the place where Amhil had revealed the energy signature. Lt. Trust No-one drew his phase pistol. The officers could just see the figure smirk before they were flung to the other side of the room by an unknown force. Their things fell from their hands, clattering on the floor. One light went out on impact. Flashes of metal and debris were visible as the other two rolled to the back of the room. (I didn’t know if you wanted to make the ‘voice’ hostile or not, Luke. But I decided to make it hostile…very hostile )

Trust led the away grew on the unknown vessel.
"Who are you?" boomed a voice.
Trust was about to reply when the lights went out. After turning on some flash lights Ensign Emhil locked onto a biosign.
"I'm reading a strange signature over there."
Trust drew his phaser but as he drew it an immense force knocked them against the wall.
Trust got up and looked for the source of the force. He couldn't find it but guessed it came from the unknown figure. Trust helped the others up and they stood wondering what to do.
"We are peaceful officers of the U.S.S. Olympia. We mean you no harm." Explained Trust, wondering if the unknowns could understand his language.
Nothing happened. "We don't want to fight you, we want to know why you docked with our ship and what caused that screeching noise."
Again nothing happened. The figure moved closer and outstreched it's arm. Trust and the others backed off but soon they were held down by an unknown force.
"Sir what are we going to do?" Shouted Amhil.
Trust didn't know what to do. At the moment all they could do was wait for whatever was going to happen..
OOC - So what do you guys want to happen to us?

As the figure came closer, the force which was holding them down increased. Unable to move or do anything else, they slowly inched closer to the ground and they were soon kneeling. Amhil looked at the figure from the corner of her eyes, and she tried with all her power to raise her head. She had trained in an increased gravity on the academy, but this was something completely different. She gritted her teeth as the figure stopped in front of them. The figure looked up for a moment and it looked as if he was concentrating on something. Then suddenly a cold and cruel smile appeared on his face, before he looked down. “Ah, a federation ship. How….interesting.” He said, staring down on the officers who were still struggling against the massive power. Whoever this person was, Amhil already hated everything about him. Something flashed behind the figure’s eyes as they fell on Amhil. He looked up again, his eyes reflecting pain and sadness. “How interesting indeed.” He said. “So far away, and in such a dangerous place like this. Curious because the federation are such cowards.” He spat the word as if it was something filthy and anger welled up in him. “They will pay…oh yes, they will pay for what they did to my Silira…” Off: -Trust: I don’t know, surprise me! -I thought it would be logical for this person to have some sad past because of the federation, therefore hating the federation and therefore attacking the ship. You know, revenge?……Am I making sense?

The patients had gradually filtered out, there was a few more serious cases still on the bio beds, but now there was no one except for one that was in any serious danger of dying.
"Ensign Chan, can you hear me? Look at me, Jessica!" The young asian moaned with pain, her chest was cut open from some thing hitting her.
"Come on! Nurse!" The young nurse- not much older than himself- handed him a device. He ran it over her chest.
"She has internal bleeding, I have to take her into surgery. Put her under, nurse." The nurse pushed a hypospray into Jessica's neck. "Get her ready for surgery!"
Purmau meanwhile was still coaching Ms. Moore.
"Breath, dear, come on. I can see that head!"
Jaz quickly walked over hand put his hand on Ms. Moore's shoulder. "Come on! 1,2,3 push! There's the head! Push!" Ms. Moore's face was damp with sweat.
Purmau was smiling, "Almost! Keep pushing!" And in a few moments Purmau was holding up a baby to Ms. Moore and with a smile, "Congratulations, Ms. Moore- you have a son."
Jaz smiled, leaving Purmau to celebrate with the new mother, and went into surgery on the asian ensign.

Meanwhile in the brig....
Soto stood in front of the force-field which seperated him from half a dozen aliens. They were swarming around, not unlike ants in an overcrowded farm.
Security officer Ka'aza entered and positioned himself next to the commodore.
"We've been trying to make contact with 'm for nearly half an hour now, but nothing seem to work. The Universal Translator can't make head nor tails from there sounds"
Soto stood there, just motionless, focusing on the group. He knew they were communicating, since he heard the same familiar hummingsound in his head as when he walked into a large crowd.
"They are communicating to one another, just like we aren't here", Soto broke the silence. "They are ignoring us."
"But why, that wouldn't make any sense. If I were captured I would do anything to know what was going to happen to me", Ka'aza replied.
"Maybe they already know or..they expect to be out of here soon. I suggest you upgrade your security around here, ensign."
As Soto hasted himself towards the bridge, he could here an "Aye, aye sir" just before the doors closed behind him.

"Silira was my mate!" the alien screamed. "Your Federation killed her! The USS Darwin I believe!" The darwin had gone missing just weeks before this incident. " I made the anomoly to your galaxy! For you see, in this galaxy I am the leader. I make the rules. My wife wanted to explore your galaxy so I made the anomoly for her. The Darwin found her and they murdered her!" Luke was sure that was not true. "So," the alien continued. "I brought them here. The Darwin's crew were weak. They were unworthy slaves. So, Federation. I plan to take my armada to your galaxy and wipe out the Federation. But you won't get to tell them about that, for you are about to die!"
OCC- I will leave it up to everyone else to continue.
P.S. Should we make this a s47 wide storyline. A large war with this species? If we do, please remember I made up the story! ;D

“….for you are about to die…” The sentence was echoing through Amhil’s head as she was still struggling against the unseen power. She was getting rather exhausted. Suddenly Trust’s communicator chirped and she could barely hear Commodore Soto’s voice.
But still this was enough to startle the alien, and for a second the force was gone. Taking her chance, she gathered all her strength and lunged at the Alien, since she was the closest to him. Lt. Trust and Ensign Luke also took avenges of the situation. Trust went for his phaser, that was lying about two meters on his right side. And Luke grabbed the first object he could get, a broken pipe. The alien saw Amhil just in time and she passed right through him. She lost her balance, stumbled forward and caught herself against some sort of console. She quickly turned around and saw the alien glaring at her, deep hatred in his eyes. She could just see Lt. Trust get up and aiming his phaser while Luke raised the pipe above his head.

Breath, dear, come on. I can see that head!
~The head came out, then the shoulders and soon the child was born and I preped him before handing him to his mother.~

The alien fell to the floor and Luke dropped the pipe. He pulled out his phaser and set it at full setting. He shotthe alien and it vaporised in front of his eyes. Luke was glad it no longer posed a threat to the away team. "I'm gonna get an engineering team to study this ship!" said Luke and with that the away team beamed back to the Olympia.

OFF: I just have to say this, first we were to far from Starfleet to contact them or anything kinda doing the Voyager thing. I was ok with that. Then we came across aliens familar with Starfleet yet hostile, I guess they are this far away to hide from Starfleet or something. I am ok with that. What is bugging me is that I do not see any way, in light of the aformentioned, for this to become a site wide thing. Just felt the need to point out that we do need to try and stick with what we are doing else confusion will ensue. Thanks for reading.
