Col. Burgess>> Ensign he is my Security Officer he has all the security clearances needed so let him on the ship. Lt J'Ka I need you to report to engineering as soon as possible. As Col. Burgess and Lt. J’Ka where picking there self’s up from the floor after being thrown down when the ship dropped out of slipstream they noticed that the mods. That they made to the ships forward shields have changed by a .005 percent which isn't a big change but just .10% more will destabilized the shields in those areas causing the ship to be ripped apart.
Lt. J’Ka to Col. Burgess something is wrong this time line should not be meet me in my quarters I will explain. Lt. J’Ka computer system in his quarters is as if not better then the ships systems being that Lt. J’Ka is part Borg/Betizod he is used to being in slipstreams and when he notice the change in the ship and the surroundings he notified the one who would believe him because of there personal and professional relationship. As Lt. J’Ka was getting the info to show the Col. The door chime went off enter Welcome Sir.

[OFF]: Welcome back J'Ka. It will only have said you were Unassigned Officer because the boards were recently upgraded by Proboards and all account ranks were reset. Admiral McCormick has put a lot of effort into assigning everyone the correct rank again, so all has been sorted out now. And please do join in. I'm about to make the defining post of this mission, so you can stop wondering where all this is heading . I only mentioned us being in our own timeline as a mock explanation for why the Assailant's current plot thread hasn't been reflected in our mission (it would have been too complicated to work around). It was not my intention to introduce alternate timelines into the plot; however, if you wish to take it in that direction then you are free to do so. Just make sure it fits in with what I'm about to write… [ON]: Elron sat in the centre seat on the bridge, with Commodore ONE on his left and Cmdr 1C Disasterman on his right. Lt Col Burgess was still with J'Ka and Doug was in Engineering. Bema sat at the conn waiting for the order, while Cmdr Hancock prepared to monitor everything from the Science I console. Their stay at Starbase Assailant had been all too brief, since modifications had not taken long. Elron tapped the panel on the arm of his chair. "All hands prepare for slipstream, all hands prepare for slipstream," his voice echoed all over the ship. All officers either took their stations or found a safe position where they wouldn't be thrown around should anything unexpected happen. "Confirm course, Mr Saberwyn," Elron ordered casually. "Course programmed for Starbase 185, approximately four and a half thousand light years away. Usual journey time at maximum sustainable warp: 2 years, 3 months. Estimated slipstream time: 75 hours. This is going to take us straight through the Bertreka Nebula, sir. You're sure that won't matter?""We'll soon find out, won't we," replied the Admiral, not entirely reassuringly. Making sure everyone was ready, Elron gave the order they'd been waiting for with a slight point of his finger. "Engage!"The deflector dish charged, opening a vortex into the fabric of slipstream space, and the ship manoeuvred itself until it was sucked along its chosen path. "We're passing through the Bertreka Nebula. No discernible effects so far," reported the Acting CScO. He gazed at the console for a few minutes, then looked up and shrugged. "Apparently it didn't make any difference. We travelled about 5 light years through the nebula, but it was as though it wasn't there.""Good. We didn't expect it to make any difference. There's no reason why any of the nebula's phenomena would permeate to slipstream-space," replied Elron. They continued for several hours, but it soon became clear there wasn't going to be much for them to do. This long-range test of the drive was to see if it had any operating limitations or whether it could run indefinitely. The drive wasn't showing any signs of fatigue and the interstitial wave harmonics seemed to be cancelling nicely. Eventually, after several hours of bridge duty, Elron retired to his ready-room to put his feet up and catch up on a little rest. He found his chair in there as comfortable to relax in as any in his quarters, and he'd be closer to the bridge should he be needed for any reason. "You have the bridge, Colonel Burgess," he said wearily to his First Officer, who had just arrived to relieve him. Once in his ready-room, he put on some gentle classics to listen to and let his mind wander. Elron woke with a jolt. At first he wondered where he was, then he wondered if he was meant to be asleep, then he wondered why he'd woken up. The first two questions were easily answered, and an answer to the third was soon forthcoming as the ship shuddered violently again for about two seconds. =/\= Admiral Elron to the bridge! =/\= came the slightly alarmed request over the comm system. He was about to step towards the doors when the ship shook again and he suddenly felt very dizzy. The room spun wildly and mockingly as he sunk slowly to his knees. He could hear a dull thudding in his ears, like the beating of a large drum. The world went black and he remembered nothing more… Gradually, bit by bit, the blackness gave way to a dark grey, which in turn became a dull gloom. Wherever he was, it was either poorly lit or his vision was significantly impaired. He struggled to remember what had just happened. As far as he could recall… he'd been on the ship… they'd been testing the drive. He hadn't been on the bridge though… he'd been off-duty. His immediate thought was that something had gone wrong with the QSD. Had the ship been destroyed? Had he been the only one to survive? Had he, in fact, survived at all? He tried to move, but found his arms and legs restrained. This concerned him. Was he being physically restrained, or had he become paralysed? He struggled again. No… there was definitely something cold and hard against his wrists. He could feel it now. It took him a couple of seconds to figure out whether he was vertical or horizontal, eventually deciding on diagonal. Blimey, he felt groggy! He gave up trying to move and turned back to trying to see where he was. It seemed to be quite a large room, but very empty. He could see nothing of interest apart from himself. He still couldn't see very well though, so it wasn't much of a testament. His head throbbed. All this concentrating was making him tired. For a moment he thought he was going to wretch. The room did a lovely little pirouette around him and his head fell limply forward, unconscious again. <earlier, on the bridge...> On the bridge of Black Tulip, the crew had been unexpectedly spurred into action. "Cmdr Branson, are you having trouble down there?" Gary asked Engineering. =/\= It doesn't seem to be a problem at this end… I don't understand it. Something external is interfering with the stability of the slipstream! =/\="Cmdr Saberwyn, can you keep us safely in the slipstream?""I don't think so, Colonel. It's destabilising.""Can you bring us out of it safely?!" asked Gary, a little alarmed. "Yes. Reducing power to the emitter now. Shutting down slipstream."Another shudder rumbled through the ship. "Admiral Elron to the bridge!" requested Disasterman, tapping his comm badge. As he spoke, the Black Tulip fell out of slipstream and glided swiftly out of an exit mouth. Whilst they were still attempting to decelerate to a standstill, a flash of deep purple light seemed to scan across the bridge. "What the hell was that?! Full shields!" ordered Col Burgess quickly, his Marine training kicking in. It was too late though. To his horror he noticed that Commodore ONE had disappeared from his seat. "Admiral Elron to the bridge!!" Disasterman repeated desperately. "Computer, locate Commodore ONE," barked Gary. Commodore ONE is not on board the USS Black Tulip, replied the computer. "Well where is he?"That information is unavailable"Computer, locate Admiral Elron," ventured Disasterman hopefully. Admiral Elron is not on board the USS Black Tulip. The two officers exchanged panicked looks. "Oh dear…"

=/\= Bridge to Commander Branson, could you come up here please =/\=
Doug tapped his comm-badge. =/\= I'm on my way =/\= He turned. "Jack, you're in charge while I'm gone."
"Wait a minute!" came a voice nearby.
Walking towards him, looking slightly annoyed, was Lieutenant Commander William Daren. "Sir, as the next highest ranking Officer, I believe I should be the one to be place in command of Engineering in your absense. The man you've appointed instead isnt even an Officer."
With that comment, Doug turned slowly towards him, with a voice completely void of any kindness, compassion, or any good for that matter. His voice became very low, and almost threatening. "Mr Daren. It does not matter that he is not an Officer. Master Chief Grant has been an Engineer for over 30 years, and has previously been the Head of Engineering for an entire Starbase for over 5 years. His experience far outweighs yours. Therefore he is in command of Engineering in my absensce. Is that clear?"
Daren now looked slightly frightened. "Uh...I uh....yes, Sir."
"Good." Doug turned and quickly left Engineering and headed for the Bridge. He entered, and relaxed his voice. "My apologies for the delay. You've got a Lieutenant Commander that was unhappy about Master Chief Grant being appointed over him. But anyway, what's the problem?"
Colonel Burgess spoke. "Well, as you can see we have been forced out of Slipstream. Also, Admiral Elron and Commodore ONE are both missing. We watched the Commodore vanish in front of us.
Doug thought for a moment. "Computer, how many crewmembers aboard the Black Tulip are unaccounted for."
"Twenty-five."
"That's a rather large number." He went over to a Science station, and checked sensor logs. "It would appear we went through a rift of some kind. It appears to only exist within Slipstream. We theorized about the possibility of something like this, but because we didn't have widespread testing of the QSD in real space we couldnt chart something like this before."
"So what do we do about this? We have to get them back. Particularly the Commodore and Admiral," Disasterman said, seemingly worried.
"I know that, Commander. Did the Commdore just vanish all at once or gradually?"
"Rather gradually, actually. His body seemed to fade in and out in bands," Gary noted
"That could be entirely natural, caused by the rift we passed through, but that could be an advanced transporter beam. Computer, display on the Master Systems Display the locations of the missing crewmembers when they disappeared."
He turned as flashing white dots appeared on the MSD at the back of the Bridge. He went over. "Notice that the locations are relatively sporadic, with no seeming pattern. Computer, list the missing crewmembers and particularly their species."
A readout came up on a nearby console. "Let's see. The Admiral's an Avari, the Commodore part-Borg....Bolian....a half-Klingon....Betazoid....Vulcan....a few humans....Interesting."
"There's nothing truly unusual about that. All those species are among the crew," Gary said, questioningly
"Yes, Colonel, but consider this. A large portion of the crew are human, therefore if this was a random phenomenon, those taken should be mostly human. Yet only a few of them are. Theres someone missing from almost every species on the crew."
Disasterman looked puzzled"Okay, so lets assume this wasn't random. Let's assume an intelligence was behind this. Why would someone do this, and who?"
Doug shook his head. "That I don't know."

As soon as he heard news of people dissapearing, Bema tapped his commbadge. "Saberwyn to Saberwyn," he said as Commander Branson started talking with Commander Disasterman and Colonel Burgess. Bema was not surprised when there was no reply he then, quickly confirmed his suspicions. Bema turned to Commander Disasterman. "Commander would it be possible to review the sensor logs from before we exited slipstream?" he asked. OOC:Tag Commander. Sorry for not posting. I have been offline for a few days.

Off: Hello all, i am your new CMO, the transfer was not yet officially announced, but admiral Elron told me that i can start posting right away, and do not need to wait for it to be done officially. So here i am and i hope I'll enjoy my time on the Black Tulip.
Doctor Salek had arrived on the ship, while it was still docked at the Star Base, however he had not yet taken over his duties officially as he had some matters to sort out for SFI and Admiral Elron was informed of this by Admiral Livtok Nor of SFI. As he was informed to keep the information classified for all whose rank is not that of flag officers. As Salek put his things in his quarters, he began the work on his report.
This last mission he executed for SFI, could have turned out pretty bad if he had been discovered, but it did not come to that, he was able to complete it undiscovered. And that was one of the reasons admiral Nor had asked him one more favor, to take on this mission, to leave his current posting at the academy. So seeing this as his top duty, Salek took on the mission and completed it without problems. However that took him away from his real assignment, being a scientist, a doctor.
--After the disappearance of admiral Elron and other members of the crew--
Salek was nearing the end of his report, when he picked up the news about some crew that have gone missing including the admiral himself. Seeing this a priority, he stopped writing his report, existed his quarters and made way to wards the bridge. After some walking, he in the end arrived to the bridge of the USS Black Tulip, where when he got there an interesting discussion had already started.
He stepped on the bridge and drew everyones attention to himself:
"I am CDR1C Doctor Salek, the new CMO of the USS Black Tulip", he said
"I have heard that some crew members have gone missing, have we found anything about this yet?", he asked waiting for a response from the partially suprised bridge crew of the USS Black Tulip

Elron regained consciousness for the second time, but this time his head didn't feel nearly so disoriented. He saw he was in the same room as before. His uniform was torn in several places, but they were clean rips as though it had been cut away for whatever reason. He couldn't see why because he was still securely restrained at the wrists and ankles, but this time he could tell he was clearly standing vertical. The room was still very poorly lit. He wasn't sure if he was alone or not, but he certainly couldn't see or hear anyone else nearby. He hoped desperately that if the rest of the crew had been captured then they were safe.
He'd been standing like this for about half an hour when suddenly the restraints were released and he fell to the floor. It took him a couple of minutes to get the feeling back in his arms, which had gone numb from the restraints, but he stood up and cautiously looked around. Still he could see no one. It wasn't a large room and pretty soon he'd covered the whole area. There was nothing of interest that he could find and apparently not even a door. He listened carefully and was sure he could hear noises from an adjacent room. Since he had no idea who or what it might be though, he decided against trying to communicate. He returned to the slab to which he'd been attached and noticed a small dish at the base. It seemed to contain a soft and colourless paste. He could only think of one use for it and it didn't really appeal to him. He'd have to wait until he was dying of starvation before he'd be desperate enough to try that. Nothing else seemed to be happening, so he sat down on the floor and contemplated his next move. Suddenly he noticed that his comm badge was missing. If he was going to get out of this one, it looked like it wasn't going to be easy on his own...

The four men were standing at the Master System Display trying to figure out if there was a pattern to the disappearance. Coming to the conclusion that there wasn't, CMDRfc Disasterman went in another direction to see if he could come up with a solution. "Computer, pull up the sensor logs with the trip thru the slipstream and also the internal sensor logs. Start both when we entered slipstream and play both in sync until we exited. Alert us when the disappearances started by an audible beep and show us on display 2 the locations of the members as they disappeared. The men were watching the sensor playback when suddenly the door to the turbolift opened and there stood a new crew member that no one recognized.
"I am CDR1C Doctor Salek, the new CMO of the USS Black Tulip. I have heard that some crew members have gone missing, have we found anything about this yet?"
Welcome aboard Commander, sorry we haven't had a formal introduction. I am CMDRfc Disasterman, Liaison Officer for the Tulip." Disasterman continued introducing each of the officers that were standing there. "Hopefully I will have a chance to introduce to the Admiral and the Commodore, but at the moment I dint know when or if that will be possible. Also your entire nursing staff is comprised of holograms until we get our crew back on board. We went with the holograms to lessen the crew members on board until after the shakedown was done. Holi is the EMH and has a mobile emitter so she can travel anywhere that she wants. But all that isn't important right at the moment. We could use another set of eyes and someone else that might be able to think of a solution to the disappearance of the crew members."
Suddenly the computer stared beeping. Everyone turned there attention to the screens and noticed that all dots appeared at one time. CMDR Bema, plot a course to the last known location of our crew members.
"Shall we use slipstream to get there?" , Bema asked.
"I dint think we should risk losing more people. Lets take it slow and easy. We should extend the sensors to maximum range to see if there is anything ahead that might also give us some answers."
Bema plotted a course based on the sensor logs. "Engage. Oops, belay that order. Sorry Colonel. I forgot that you are actually the one in command now. What do you suggest we do."

Elron stared hungrily at the dish before him. 'It looks even worse than Frunellian paté!' he thought to himself. 'I'd rather eat my own arm...' He stared hungrily at his arm.
Suddenly, from nowhere, a gap in the wall opened up silently behind him. Light flooded into the small room and, turning quickly, Elron discovered a figure silouetted against the bright lights beyond. He couldn't see whether it was humanoid or not, but the general shape of it was certainly familiar. There was an odd clicking and hissing sound, then a pause. Then another figure stalked into the room...

Disasterman thats ok Bema set course to the disappears Engage
As the ship is moving toward the area the Sensors and Shields are pushed to max.
Col. Burgess >> Commander Branson i need you to completely shut down all power to the Slipstream Drive just incase theres some kind of feedback from the Drive that could cause this Commander Branson Aye Sir. Computer Try and locate Admiral Elron Comm. Badge anywhere on Sensors.
Col. Burgess to J'Ka >> J'Ka i need you to pass out armband shield disruptors to all 25 crew members hoping that they stop the transports if its tranports
J'Ka > Aye Sir
At that moment the turbolift doors openned and Doctor Salek walked out and stated he was the new CMO Good Day Doctor Salek my name is Col. Burgess First Officers of the Black Tulip as you can see we're all quiet busy up here.
Ship Wide Comms, All Hands this is Gary Burgess FO i am now activating a shipwide lockdown all crew members stay in your quaters unless you are required to be on Duty this is not a drill.
as everyone on the brige is going over all the data from the sensors bema couldn't locate anything diff. with this area of spaces then any other area of spaces he has scanned before.

As Col. Burgess was sitting in the command chair watching the data on the main screen and at that moment he asked the Computer to put the details of the missing crew members along side of the course they was on. Security teams was using Bio scanners in the locations of the mission crew members trying to locate anything that could help.
Col. Burgess to Commander Branson
Commander Branson>> Here
Col. Burgess>> Commander Branson i need you and your research staff to being to work on a new Scanner that will scan into Slipstream so we could maybe locate our missing crew members.
Commander Branson >> Sir were get right on to it if we channel the sensors throw the main deflector we could maybe activate the slipstream drive and with the sensors channeling throw the deflector let us see whats going on in Slipstream.
Col. Burgess >> Commander Get right it all resourse are yours except for shields

Disasterman was down in engineering keeping a eye on the new sensor that Cmdr. Branson was creating that would let us scan into slipstream would work, with the new drive modifications that where in places they was just about ready to bring the drive back online. Back on the bridge Disasterman just stepped out of the turbolift door when Cmdr. Branson annouced that they was ready to activate the slipstream drive.
Col. Burgess>> All Hand perpare to inpact we are about to reactive the slipstream drive we don;t know what will happen so braces your selfs. Cmdr. Branson activate the drive in 5 , 4, 3, 2 ,1 Engage.
Bema >> Sir the engines are now at 100% everything seems to be going good.
Col. Burgess>> Cmdr. Branson Bring the new interphasing sensor online.
Cmdr. Branson>> Sir the sensors are now online and scanning at a ratio of 78.656789 teradons which is now breaking throw into slipstream.

"Interphasing sensors seem to be working. I'm getting detailed feedback on dimensional anomalies in slipstream space. Scans are permeating all adjacent slipstream grooves," reported Cmdr Hancock, the Acting CScO, from Science I. "So far nothing unusual."
After a few seconds, Bema had piloted them towards the spot where most of the crew had disappeared. "I'm picking up something unusual!" announced Hancock. "There aren't any life signs, but there's definitely some kind of Class-D planetoid out there. Possibly an asteroid or an ejected moon that somehow entered Slipstream space. It seems to fly in the face of slipstream physics though..."
"Shall I maneouvre us into the same slipstream so we can have a better look?" Bema asked his FO.

With the new interphasing sensor online and scanning everything seemed to be going good and then Cmdr. Hancock reported a Class D planet 3 light years off the port bow of the ship.
Col. Burgess >> Bema set course for the planet and put us into planetary orbit.
As Bema was setting course for a orbit arounded the planet all of a sudden Cmdr. Hancock report a strange enegry sources on the planet surfaces.
Disasterman>> With the sensors working now at 100% Col. I request that we focus the sensor array toward the planet to see if we can get any details on the energy sources thats down there.
Cmdr. Hancock>> Col. i've detected a small moving object located just 30 meters under the surfaces of the planet.
TaG >> Disasterman, J'Ka, Bema, Hancock

Col. Burgess remembard that he has a very high level telepath on bord and after he orderd 2ndLT. J'Ka to give out the arm bands he then orded him to the bridge.
Knowing what was going to happen 2nd LT. J'Ka was heading twards the bridge to give assitstant to the crew knowing that we were loosing crew rapperdly he was enterting the bridge as Col. Burgess was telling the computer to locate him. 2ndLt. J'Ka reporting as orderd Col. Burgess sic. staion 2 and monortor the ship crew and do what u do best you know what i mean. The bridge crew look puzzled and then the quite and keep to himself borge implant bedezed person to his seat feeling the bridge all eys on him 2nd Lt. J'Ka says out loud i do belive that we need to paying attion to what is out there not me. Sir we just 4more crew members and the time line is still unstabel we must enter our own time line in the next 120min.15sec if not we will stand to change all of our time lines.

OFF: Lol, thanks DM. Please assume for the moment that there are no temporal phenomena, we'er just in slipstream. The main concern is getting our captured crew back. Starfleet always starts with peaceful negotiations, but there's no guarantee that that will work here... ON: Elron found himself standing in what appeared to be some kind of control room. At least, there were a lot of sophisticated looking panels and a large view screen on the wall. He tried to focus on the confusing screen, and his heart leapt when he realised what he was seeing. Among the complicated symbolism and off-putting colours he could clearly see an image of the Black Tulip, and it seemed to be flying towards them! Whatever had happened, the ship was intact and he hoped the crew were safely aboard too. Soon a door opened and one by one a small group were led into the room. Squinting, Elron realised that he recognised them! Lieutenant T'Rel, Ensign Shras, Commodore ONE, Kate Saberwyn… apparently he wasn't the only one being held captive here. "ONE! How many of you are there?" the Admiral shouted across he room to his former FO. "I don't know. I was on my own until they led me in here."Elron immediately began to worry about who was in control of the Tulip. "Have you seen Gary or Disasterman?""No. I haven't seen Bema either, but I think Kate's here."Elron hoped desperately that some of the crew had somehow managed to stay on the ship. There was a lot of clicking and hissing, the same kind he had heard before. It suddenly occurred to Elron that this was how the aliens communicated. None of the officers had a commbadge on them so they had no universal translators. Commodore ONE sidled up to him and whispered "I've think they've deactivated my internal transporter nodules. That or there's some kind of dampening field.""Never mind," replied Elron, looking hard at the screen, "I don't think they would be of much use in this case anyway."ONE gave him a puzzled look. Apparently the Admiral knew something he didn't. The display changed and they could all see Colonel Burgess clearly on the screen. The bizarre shapes and colours from before had disappeared and a crystal clear image of the Black Tulip's bridge was visible. The Black Tulip's captured officers stood together in a corner of the control room, silently waiting to see what would happen next. After short period of clicks and hisses, Burgess's voice replied clearly and resolutely. "I don't think so!"<On the bridge of the USS Black Tulip> "I have a fix on the power sources. Something down on that planetoid is using a lot of energy; more than I've ever seen from a planet before…" announced the CScO. "That moving object near the planet seems to be some kind of orbital platform or ship. I can't get a clear identification of it," said Saberwyn from the conn, where he also had access to the sensor data. "How is this planet in slipstream?! Is it just flying through space at intergalactic speeds?!" asked a confused Burgess. He didn't like being confused. "According to interphasing sensors, the planet is in some kind of large, artificial slipstream loop and is following the loop like an orbit path. I never imagined anything like this was possible!""Can we follow the same path and keep up with the planet?" asked the FO. "I don't see why not… it seems just like a regular slipstream. Cmdr Saberwyn should be able to alter our slipstream to coincide with theirs. He'll need to be quick though because we're going to miss our opportunity and leave them far behind soon.""Mr Saberwyn, make it so!" Gary ordered. [TAG: Bema] "I'm receiving a signal from the planet! It's electromagnetic in origin… the radio wave frequency range," announced Cmdr Hancock from the Science station. "Actually, it's coming from that small craft under the planet...""Is it a communication? Can we translate it?""I think I can put it on screen, sir," answered Hancock, tapping his console rapidly. There was a murmur among the bridge crew as the view screen activated and a tall, grey insectoid creature appeared. It had large eyes and long, mantis-like legs. "Kate!" gasped Bema quietly as soon as he noticed the Starfleet officers in the background. [glow=green,2,300]"Surrender your vessel! You will hand over all life forms and technologies to us for study,"[/glow] croaked the alien. Thankfully the universal translator of the Black Tulip was able to translate their unusual language. "I don't think so!" replied Gary firmly. "Identify yourselves. What do you want with our people? We demand that they be returned to us immediately!"There was a short pause. [glow=green,2,300]"Our identity is irrelevant. You will surrender your vessel if you do not wish to be destroyed."[/glow][TAG: Gary, Disasterman, etc]

OOC: The frist part of this post takes place before Katherine was joined by the others. IC: Kate woke up in a daze. She had no idea where she was or what had happened. The last thing I recall, I was in our quarters when I saw a flash of light, she thought to herself as she stood up. She reached up to tap her commbadge only to find it was gone. The sound of a door opening brought her back to reality. Two odd looking creatures entered carrying what looked like spears. They raised the spears and motioned Kate to follow them. Seeing she had no alternative, Katherine complied. As they walked to what appeared to be the bridge of a ship, the Starfleet officer noticed numerous others from the Tulip being treated similarily. Location: USS Black Tulip bridge. Bema smiled when he heard the comment: "He'll need to be quick though". Using the skills he honed in his holodeck simmulations with Admiral Elron, Bema complied with Col. Burgess' order. Commander Hancock nearly doubled over when the ship lurched in reply to Bema's quick movements. Gary had a huge grin as he seemed to remember how good a pilot Bema was. Within a few minutes the ship was in perfect allignment with the planet. "I'm receiving a signal from the planet! It's electromagnetic in origin… the radio wave frequency range," announced Cmdr Hancock from the Science station. "Actually, it's coming from that small craft under the planet..." "Is it a communication? Can we translate it?" "I think I can put it on screen, sir," answered Hancock, tapping his console rapidly. Bema was almost overcome with grief when he saw his wife in the crowd of Starfleet officers. "Kate," he said breathlessly. He maintained his composure putting on a mask of confidence. He looked passed the creatures, fixing his gaze on the group of officers finishing with the Admiral. Location: Alien ship Kate sighed a breath of relief when she saw her husband. She smiled when she saw a look of total control on Bema's face. Bema winked when his gaze fixed on her, as if he was planning something. OOC:Sorry for not posting frequently. I have been incredibly busy lately. Tag anyone.

CMDRfc Disasterman was returning to the bridge when the aliens were repeating their threat about the surrender. He quickly sat at Science Station 5 and started recording the interaction between Col Burgess and the aliens. He was hoping to get enough footage of the aliens to hopefully be able to get some research done on them in case they came aboard so they could effectively fight them. He scanned the screen and saw that Admiral Elron and Commodore ONE were both safe along with most of the crew that had been taken so far. He wasnt sure where the rest of the crew was, but he was hoping they were safe also. The Commander thought of a quick plan. He sent a series of tones thru the communication s that would be hidden to anyone but Commodore ONE. If the aliens hadnt disconnected any of the Commodore's borg implants, then he would see a twitch in his arm. Sure enough the twitch happened and the Commodore didnt seem to really notice anything. The Commander kept watching the screen but mostly watched the background to do his best to read the lips of the two commanding officers. The Commander was an expert at reading lips, but usually didnt do this since he worked in such a high security area back home. He was having trouble reading their lips since the viewscreen was mainly focused on the alien that was in front giving the threats. He knew that he would be studying the tapes before he made a report on what was being said. The only good news so far that he could put into his report back to Starfleet was that it seemed that all missing crew were alive and that he had a way to get a message to the Commodore once they figured out what they were going to do. He knew that as soon as the Commodore realized what the message was he would pass it along to everyone that he could. The Commander set out to make a subroutine that he quickly sent out to ONE. The message would repeat a very simple message until the Commodore stopped it, "We can see you. We are working on your rescue. Cross your arms and place two fingers on the outside if everything is ok, no visible fingers if there is any foreseeable problems. Repeat this action any time you may think you are on the viewscreen. End for now." The Commander watched ONE to see if the message was received After a few minutes, Disasterman noticed ONE looking around the room in a slightly confused way. Suddenly it seemed like a light bulb clicked on. The Commodore looked around the room again and then slowly crossed his arms so as to seem natural. The Commander saw, just as the viewscreen turned off, that sure enough there were two fingers "Hot D**N,", Disasterman yelled. This startled everyone on the bridge. Colonel Burgess turned to Disasterman and said, " Commander I dont think this is a situation to be cheering about. Please explain the reason behind your outburst." "Im sorry Colonel, but I have found a way to communicate with Commodore ONE. I can send a high frequency message that piggybacks with any communication we have with the aliens. The borg implants that ONE has havent been messed with as of yet and he can receive these messages. If you noticed his arms as the message ended, that was a message I sent to him to communicate their status. They are all ok. I wont be able to send a very long message each time, but at least we know it can be done. "Well Commander, that is good news, but your glee was almost seen by the aliens. This may have been seen in a wrong way since they are threatening to blow us up. Please control yourself in the future while you are on the bridge." "Aye, sir"
Everyone set out to work on a plan for a rescue or at least a way to get the other vessel out of slipstream to put themselves at an advantage.

<OFF> Thats ok. For those that are lost here is a quick recap.... We were testing the slipstream drive and several members of the crew were taken. Of those taken were Admiral Elron, Commodore ONE, Bema Saberwyn's wife, Kate. We are guessing about half of the small crew we had were taken. The remaining crew was working on a way to find the missing crew when they discovered a alien presence in slipstream that had taken the crew. <ON>
CMDRfc Disasterman sat in in his quarters watching the replays of all the contacts with the aliens they made before having to leave. Each time he made sure of one thing..... how Commodore ONE's fingers were when he crossed his arms. Each time there were two fingers, which meant everything was going ok at the moment. This was a good sign that noone had been injured in any way. While watching the replays, Disasterman watched the conversation that was happening between ONE and Elron. He was finally able to get a clear enough replay to read that their conversation was about , they were happy to see we were all alive and the Tulip was ok. Disasterman prepared several messages that he was going to send to ONE the next time they went into slipstream and caught up to the alien presence. The message was going to reveal to ONE that Disasterman had the ability to read lips and if ONE or Elron wanted to pass anything along, to do so, but the message would need to be brief and repeated since the viewscreen wasnt focused on them.

OFF: Umm, I have to be honest I was a little confused myself. That post you read that says we're at Bellicose... it's dated 22 April! We haven't been at Bellicose for quite some time ;D
Personally I hadn't intended for us to return to Bellicose (plus we don't have the use of our warp drive according to an earlier post by me) so I've been trying to think of a way to fit all this in. I'm afraid I've been busy to, but would like to see this mission finished within a week since I go on LOA a week today (SD 91.0610). I'm hoping to finish the mission by next Thursday-ish.
