"Commander Daya reporting, Sir."
Parsons looked up, "ah yes, Commander," a hand extended until Adam realized it was holding the glass of water, which he quickly set down on a small table. Extending his hand again, "good to meet you, your reputation precedes you." Adam shook Daya's hand enthusiastically and invited him to sit. "Can I get you anything from the replicator?"
"No sir, i'm fine thank you. I didnt know i had a repuation to be honest with you." Daya said with a smile as he took a sit and looked at the officer in front of him.
"I just received word a few minutes ago that you had arrived on the station. I took the liberty of assigning you temporary quarters here on the Assailant," Parsons said handing Daya the PADD.
"We are in a sort of limbo with the loss of the Scavenger. Have you reported in to Captain Drago?"
"yes sir, i was with him earlier today, along with Commander Tras" Daya replied, filling the commander in with his progress.
"Well I will let you get settled. Why don't you meet me back here in a few hours and I will fill you in on our current situation. Is there anything else I can do for you in the meantime?"
"No sir, i'm sure when i return we can discuss the current mission. i was unable to arrive in time to recieve the breifing" Daya said, excusing himself to head to his temporary quarters on the assailant. Taking a few minutes to walk around before arriving at his quarters, where he put his bags down and took a few minutes to send a message to Kirk.
Jonathan,
Hello old friend, its good to see you again. If you have time would you care to meet me for a drink or some food before we get to busy with the mission?
Daya signed off his console, and grabbed a quick sonic shower. Getting dressed once again he left his quarters and walked around for the remaining "few hours" before returning to Parson's quarters. Pressing the door chime, he stood for a moment before the commander answered the door. "Ah, Commander, good to see you again, Shall we get started then?" Parson's asked inviting Daya into his quarters.
<tag Parson's>
Daya listened as the commander explained their duties for the mission a head of them, with the mention of working with Klingons came to the surface, Daya lit up momentarily as he remembered growing up onboard a Klingon bird of prey. Commander Parson's finished with asking Daya about himself. "Well, sir i grew up around Klingons so i should have no problem being able to convince them what we are doing, and getting our objective complete. After i joined the academy, with Commander Kirk, i was placed on the USS Jefferson until i went back to the academy to be an instructor, which is were i met with Lt Commander Pride." Daya went on to a little more about himself, before asking, "and what about you? i know i could read your bio, but i prefer to hear it and get the person personally"

Illito burst out into a smile the instant she entered the holodeck and saw Pride. She couldn't help it, but she didn't really care. She didn't mind smiling. “It's good to see you too,” she cheerily replied.
She looked around the place she had entered through the holodeck doors, trying to get a feeling for her surroundings. She was glad that she'd changed out of her Starfleet uniform, into something more comfortable.
She walked with Pride the short distance to the table he'd set out so carefully. “This is very nice,” she said, though she was admiring the location and set up more than the food. She'd spent her childhood on a world that was floundering despite aid from everyone who was willing to give it, and she'd trained at Starfleet Academy. Replicated food was pretty much the norm. And one could make practically anything with a replicator. So she didn't really know enough to be impressed by the food—or drink—yet.
Holodecks, though? Were new and exciting, and kind of different—at least the idea of using them for something besides training exercises was. Illito had been very much the quiet and studious type during her years at Starfleet Academy. And she'd hardly ever used the Scavenger's holodecks.
“How was your visit home?” Illito asked, as she tried to watch Pride for cues of whether to start eating or to wait.

Looking at Illito as she sat down feeling the butterflies in his stomach. At least that's what someone told them they were when you find somebody you love. He poured he a glass of wine.
" I think you might like it has a very mellow fruity taste, dont worry to much about the effects it would take a lot to get you drunk on this stuff. "
He heard he ask the question and was trying to figure a way to answer it.
“How was your visit home?” Illito asked, as she tried to watch Pride for cues of whether to start eating or to wait.
Looking back at her he pick of a peace of mellon and put it on her plate, and grabbed one for himself." Its not replicated its fresh got from the ship before it returned to my planet."
" To answer your question my planet is in the middle of a vote on weather to join the federation or not. Since my family is head of goverment I have a vote and needed to be there for it." pausing to take a bite of the fruit.
" There are a great number of my people who are concerned about joining and what it will mean. My world is more advance then the federation by at least a generation in science and other things that you are a ware of. They are concerned about the possible war coming and that there ways and technology will be perverted for it. They think that even though the federation means well that they will use there abilitys for war. They are having debates over weather they should join. They still think the federation is to young for what they have to offer and don't want to make a mistake by advanceing them faster then there ready for"
" I see there point on some aspects but I also see the great good that could come of it if they join. But I'm worried to what happens when the federation realizes that they can train troops to block out pain in crease there strenght and even heal them selves to a point. Thats what there worried about creating a army that is too strong to be stopped. Not to mention what if these things get out and other less freindly races gain access to them then you have a vast number of super army's"
Looking back into her eye's " Have I told you how happy I'am that you could make this dinner date. I could face the borg right now and be happy because I got to spend time with you." <Tag Illito>
" Well thats what I went home for there still debating waiting for my next report to decided. I'm worried Illito I want them to join but I still have the same concerns. That maybe we will advance you to much. What will happen when people learn they can slow down the ageing prossces throught the power of the mind will create more problems its a hard issue to tackle right now."
Opening a box on the table he pulled out another crystal ship this one was 3 times bigger then the one he gave the crew. In side was a flower he had done his research and found a flower native to her world on given in love. The ship was exactly like the others it was a model of the scavenger and it glowed when touched. " I gave these to the crew to help them heal you may have lost a home but you will have a new one inside is a peave of the scavenger and a flower. This way you will always have a peace of the home you lost and a flower to remember that somebody loves you very much" <Tag Illito>

"Do you remember our Academy mission on the Hepta?" Paikea asked fully knowing that they did. "Do you remember all the people we killed and how it affected me?"
“Yes I do.” Katie said.
Hearing Paikea bring up their training mission caused a flood of scary images to pour from her memory. She remembered the fool-hearted things that Paikea had done and also the heroic ones that saved her life that mission.
"Well, in this last mission I did things that I swore to never do again," Pai said trying hard to keep his emotions in check," I killed Katie, I killed them in cold blood."
Katie was shocked to hear the words come out of Paikea’s mouth. She felt she still knew the man that was sitting in front of her but now she knew that man was long gone. She opened her mouth as if she was going to speak but then stopped. She then figured out that she didn’t have anything to say to this man. She sat in silence as the briefing started.
Katie did the best she could to make notes of the crew members that she didn't already know and then she took some notes on the people she thought she knew. As the briefing continued she saw that most of them had changed dramatically since she saw them last. It was then that she felt like the outsider. She hadn't gone through all the struggles and pains they had.
"Kaite, do you see the shard inside the crystal?" Paikea said as he noticed the great technique used in the making of the replica," that's what happened to me. My home was destroyed and I'm lost and I need help finding a home again."
"You'll find it again." Katie said.
Without waiting for anybody else Katie got up and walked out of the briefing room. Walking as quickly as she could she made her way around a few corners before stopping and leaning up against the wall. She felt tears welling up in her eyes.

Parsons answered the door chime and Commander Daya entered. Adam filled him on the previous mission and the loss of the Scavenger. The XO also briefed the new tactical officer on the upcoming mission with the Klingons.
Parsons listened to Daya's response and knew he would be invaluable on this mission, "Well, sir i grew up around Klingons so i should have no problem being able to convince them what we are doing, and getting our objective complete..." The Commander went on to describe his working relationship with two of the other senior staff. Daya then went on to a little more about himself, before asking, "and what about you?"
"Me? ... Oh, I attended the Academy and then law school, planned on going into the JAG Corp. I was assigned to the USS El Salvador to get some experience aboard a ship and except for a few minor JAG assignments, have been serving on ships for my entire career. I served as the Chief Tactical and Security Officer aboard the El Sal and had some limited opportunities for command. I enjoyed the experience and when I was offered the position of Executive Officer of the Scavenger, I jumped at the chance."
The two officers finished their conversation and Daya exited. Both officers needed to liais with station personnel to prepare for the arrival of the Klingons and Parsons needed to contact the Admiral about the Scavenger memorial service, preferably before the Klingons arrived.
Adam was about to contact the Admiral when Hunter contacted him.
" What are my orders on the next mission" said William.
"Ah yes, first, Mr. Hunter, why don't you introduce yourself to our new chief tactical and security officer, Commander Daya. I would appreciate it if you would introduce him to the senior tactical and security officers remaining with our crew, including your top marines. Once you two have hooked up and you've made introductions, please report to my office, which, for now, is located in my quarters."

"Commander." Luke said warmly, shaking the man's hand. "It is extremely good to see you. Please," He said, looking to the seat next to Tras. "Sit down, your timing could not have been better."
Kirk stood in front of the man he once called Luke Dowding; the same man who wanted nothing more than to change a time line that had not come into fruition yet. It was not hatred that Kirk felt toward Drago but it was close. He knew deep inside that he could not possibly imagine a future that turned Dowding into Drago and that future was still going to happen given that Drago was still here.
"Commander Tras, I would like to introduce you to Commander Kirk. I've just decided that you two are going to be working together in the coming days." Luke said, his eyes twinkling, "Please, familiarize yourself with the information on this PADD. It contains key points in the Colonial War and Admiral Lin's involvement; it also includes your assignment information. It is encrypted to Commander Kirk's security code; he will be in direct charge of the assignment. We will meet again in one hour to discuss the full details."
Kirk took the outstretched PADD from Dargo while at the same time Tras stood up. Kirk could still see the friendly look in Drago’s eyes and he hoped that his own eyes were not selling a false friendship with his new Commanding Officer. After exchanging a quick handshake he left the conference room with Tras in tow.
"Commander, I would be gratified if you would show the way to engineering, then we can go over what you would like me to do, and teach me how to do it." Tras said just outside the conference room doors.
“Of course,” Kirk said, “But correct me if I’m wrong. Do we even have a engineering room we can go to?”

Pride told her the food wasn't replicated, which, well...Illito appreciated the effort it would take to bring fresh fruit from a planet. She didn't think she could quite understand why, but she was proven wrong the instant she took that first bite. People had, from time to time, told her that once someone tastes real, grown food, they realize what they'd been missing. Apparently people had been right. Because the melon was good, and her face clearly showed her surprise and delight at that fact.
Illito continued nibbling at it, grateful that Pride had both provided this food and was giving her a chance to eat it and listen to him at the same time. She thought about what he was saying, though. She could see the points, but she believed well of the Federation, it was practically a job requirement. And, well, yes, there could be the potential for abuse if there could be troops who were stronger and better than before. But so many more battles were fought in the sky, rather than on the land. And blocking out pain, and limited self-healing were useless if the ship was destroyed and they still had to breathe oxygen.
“Have I told you how happy I am that you could make this dinner date. I could face the borg right now and be happy because I got to spend time with you.”
Illito smiled at Pride. “Don't face the Borg,” she said, her tone light and joking. She didn't want him to face the Borg. But she didn't think there was much chance he would have to.
“I'm worried Illito I want them to join but I still have the same concerns. That maybe we will advance you to much. What will happen when people learn they can slow down the ageing prossces throught the power of the mind will create more problems its a hard issue to tackle right now.”
“Yeah, I can see how it would be difficult,” Illito commiserated. “And I can see how this is a different situation than if the Federation,” always the Federation, never us, never any other descriptor, “were to discover such techniques on its own. But the galaxy is getting smaller all the time, and there's so much interconnection and cooperation right now, that it's hard to say any discovery is strictly by one species or group. But this would be easier to hold back, because yes, it benefits a lot of people, but the drawbacks are very easy to see, and pretty much inarguable.”
Pride listened to her, then set a box out on the table, while Illito watched curiously. Then he opened it, and pulled out a model ship of the Scavenger. It was a good model, and Illito recognized it instantly. “I gave these to the crew to help them heal you may have lost a home but you will have a new one inside is a peave of the scavenger and a flower. This way you will always have a peace of the home you lost and a flower to remember that somebody loves you very much”
“Thank you,” Illito said, looking at the model. It lit up when she touched it—curious, that. She looked at the flower closely, not recognizing it right away. After all, urban Cardassia? Not exactly known for its flowers. But she recognized it, after a little time. “This means a lot to me,” Illito said, touched by all the time he had to have spent, just on finding the right flower, let alone the rest of the model. “Thank you,” she repeated. She was still very upset over the Scavenger's loss, but Pride was making her understand—forcing her to understand, more like, though he was very nice and kind about it—that she hadn't lost everything with it. She hadn't lost the rest of the senior staff, and she hadn't lost him. She turned to him, since he was seated next to her to better allow them to both enjoy the view, and hugged him impulsively, trying to show her gratitude. For the ship, and for just being there.

He listened as Illito pointed out that his home world didn't have to share everthing. He was even more happy when she kind of agreed about not sharing everthing. He was just happy to be there with her. When she hugged him after he gave her the gift he was as happy as he could ever remember
Still Hugging her not really wanting to let go. " You are right of course I seemed to have over looked that point. My world doesn't need to share everthing at once. You always seem to have the right answer for the moment. I love that about you, when I'm around you I always feel like everthing will work out one way or another." < Tag Illito>
Still giving her a hug " I want you to know if there is anything I can do for you, all you have to do is ask and I will do what ever I can to help. There are so many things I want to show you and so many things about you I want to know" <Tag Illito>
A couple hours Later.
Walking to the cabin of there fist officer to report in. His thoughts were still on Illito and how happy he was. He could fly a garbage scowel and would complain at this moment. Arriving at Commander Parsons door.
He rang the door chime waiting to be admited he knew it was time to find out what he was going to be doing. He still didn't know where he stood with the captain but at the moment he didn't care he was happy.
He heard the commander say enter he went in.
" Commander Parsons I was told to report you to find out my duties while the klingons were here" <Tag Parsons>

The initial meeting with the Klingon General had gone well enough. She came across as a decent enough woman, obviously she had the whole Klingon aggression thing down to a fine art but Luke forsaw no major issues with the CO of the IKS I'Vorch.
He sipped at his coffee whilst making final adjustments to the assignments for his crew. They were all simple enough on face value but the tasks underneath were of questionable nature, especially at such a tense time for the Empire.
"Drago to Parsons." Luke said into the comms system, taking another sip of his drink he waited for the response.
=^= Parsons here Captain =^=
"Could you please take responsibility for informing Commander's Apirana, Tintagel, Daya and Pride and Lieutenant Anderson as well as Marine Captain Hunter of their upcoming assignments and make sure they are aware that they are to start as of immediately. The I'Vorch is expecting the assigned Officers as soon as possible."
<TAG Parsons>
"Very good, thank you Commander. Shall we meet for dinner at say 1900hours in my quarters?"
<TAG Parsons>
"Excellent, I will see you later then. Drago out."
He took a long, final gulp of the coffee and set the mug down before contacting Kirk and Tras.
"Commanders Kirk and Tras, please report to my quarters immediately." He said, trying to sound authoratative but not angry.

Paikea knew that things would be quite difficult for all of them in the upcoming weeks, but he knew that they all would need to deal with it as best they could. The small replica in his hand made him realize that a chapter in his life had passed. He would be able to take the best and the worst from that and move on. Change was hard for everyone, but in the end it would just make him stronger.
~You'll find it again~ were the words that Katie had told him and deep down he believed it to be true.
"Computer, please replicate an assortment of uniforms, including Class A Dress," Paikea said as he began to pack the little that he had. Once this was done, Paikea finished packing and headed out the door. Hopefully Katie would be in the mood for a little lunch.

"Of course we do," Tras replied amiably, "we are aboard the South Carolina, and until Captain Drago is assigned to a new ship, this ship will be his temporary home. That means that engineering is temporarily your domain."
Tras walked over to one of the side panels in the corridor and tapped it. "Computer, Commander Kirk needs directions to engineering, please show the way." Promptly, the corridor lit up and continued to do so as the two men followed the path it directed them to take.
They had barely reached engineering, when Drago's voice resounded over the intercom, ordering them to his quarters. Tras, however, had not heard it and proceeded into engineering, stopped only when Kirk pulled him back by his arm. He listened when Drago repeated his message, then sighed. "Now what does he want," he murmured, turning on his heels to march away to Drago's quarters, with Kirk close in his wake.
"You called?" he asked, upon entering Drago's quarters, "I thought we were ordered to engineering...and some of us do need rest."

OOC i just wanted to get things moving along a bit
Daya looked over at the marine captain, a capable looking officer, as they introduced themselves. Daya waited until the marine turned to leave before following behind him. They walked around the SB meeting all the top security officers, as well as most of the marine officers that Daya might have contact with at some point. When they had finished, Captain Hunter had other plans for a while, so Daya left him and walked around aimlessly, having nothing to do for the next few hours.
When the time came that he was to report back to Commander Parson's "office" Daya made his way there and showed up a few minutes early, as he normally tried to do. "Ah, Commander, come in, we shall wait for the others before we get started. Care for a drink?" Daya accepted a glass of water and sat down in the living area, as he waited for the others. He looked up as various officers entered, including Lt. Commander Pride, whom Daya had already gotten reaquianted with. When the meeting had started, Commander Parson stood up and introduced everyone to Daya, pointing to each of the officers as he gave their names. "Everyone, i would like you to meet our new Chief Tactical and Security officer, Commander Daya. The Commander just transfered from the academy. Commander, i would like to introduce you to Lt. Katie Anderson, our operations officer, Commander Paikea Apirana, science, Commander Illito Tintagel, medical, Lt. Commander Desert Pride, navigations, and Marine captain William Hunter, our SMO" Daya nodded at each of the officers, reading their faces as best he could, which wasnt that good.
"now that we all know each other, your missions." Commander Parsons grabbed a handful of PADDs, and handed them out to each of the officers. "Myself, commander Daya and captain hunter will be working with the tactical officer of the I'Vorch. We are to gather information on ship deployment of both the Klingon and Tholian fleets, including cloaked vessels. The Klingons are under the impression that the we will be aiding the I'Vorch in a series of upgrades and system tests. Commander Apirana is to be working with the Science Officer on the I'Vorch. The Klingons assume that the commander is gathering sensor information to update Assailant's database on the Tholian colonising process. He is to gather information on the rumours of work the Empire has begun on biological weapons."
The commander took a break from speaking for amoment, to let the information he had given sink in with the officers, Daya had been listening and had barely glanced at the PADD, he was watching the way the others responded. Taking a drink of his water, he continued to listen and watch. "Commander Tintagel will be working on Assailant with an expert in Tholian physiology. To establish an effective, if possible, reversal of the colonising process of the Tholians. Lieutenant Commander Pride is to work with Lieutenant Jg. Anderson on the Assailant. They are to begin work on the computer information that was saved from the Scavenger and attempt to salvage anything of use. All Mirror Universe data must be processed and then transferred immediately to Captain Drago and Admiral Lin. Last known co-ordinates of the MU Fleet must be established and sensor information on ship systems etc must be compiled. Now the I'Vorch is expecting us as soon as we can get over there, so now that you have your assignments, lets get to work" With the meeting over, Daya stayed sitting for a moment, since he was working with Parsons anyway.
(OOC and i am assuming the I'Vorch is docked with the SB)
Daya walked with commander Parsons, and captain Hunter as they made their way to the Klingon bird of Prey. They were stopped at the docking station by a Klingon, who asked in klingon what they wanted, Daya waited for one of the others to answer, and then realized they were looking at him. *"I am commander Daya, we have a meeting with your commander officer"* Daya replied, also in Klingon. the klingon officer took a moment to contact the captain, before allowing them to enter. A familiar smell rushed upon Daya as the doors opened, a smell of heat, sweat, and Klingon food. With a smile Daya stepped forward and led the way to the bridge.

Illito was still smiling long after her dinner with Pride was over. She'd had fun, and she'd enjoyed the setting, that Pride had chosen. It was interesting to see his world—or a holographic simulation of it—as well as to hear about it. She loved talking to him, and wished they didn't have to return to duty. But there would be more time, more conversations, to look forward to.
She talked to Commander Parsons, and he told her what she was to do. She'd be consulting with an expert in Tholian physiology, apparently, to try to reverse the colonization by the Tholians. Which meant she first had to get more familiar with the issues at hand. Yes, Illito had taken some comparative biology classes while training to be a doctor, and yes, there was an expert, to handle specifics. But Illito needed to understand the general, and she needed to feel like she understood the general.
Which meant that she was doing more research, after setting up a time to meet with Dr. Carner. Dr. Carner seemed readily available to talk with Illito, which made Illito wonder a little why she was the one to help with this. It seemed a quite important assignment, and Illito would try to do her best by it, and by the Captain who had decided to give her it. Even if she had her doubts about her own abilities.
She was a little surprised to not be working with the Klingons, just because most other former Scavenger senior staff were. But she didn't really feel strongly as to whether she worked with them or not. It was likely that there was nothing the Klingon doctors could tell the Federation didn't already know, and couldn't do on their own. Because it was very clear that, although appearing to be interested in cooperation with the Klingons, the Federation wasn't being entirely on the level with the I'Vorch.
Illito looked at the PADD with the information about the Tholians she'd put on it. The Tholians had been neutral in the last few conflicts, when political experts in the Federation had been busy predicting which side they would end up on. And now, without a conflict to mask struggles, the Tholians had been looking for a fight, with the Klingons, and the Federation.
Illito finished reading the PADD, and, feeling more confident that she would be able to follow Dr. Carner, proceeded to the other Doctor's office. “May I come in?” she asked, after knocking on the doorframe.
“Yes, of course. Dr. Tintagel?”
Illito nodded.
“Please, come in. Have a seat.”
Illito entered, and sat down in a chair across the desk/table from Dr. Carner. His office was uncluttered, with just a few PADDs set on the desk. Illito just sat, waiting for Dr. Carner to be the first one to talk, because she wasn't quite sure how to start.
“How familiar with Tholian physiology?” he asked, after it became clear Illito wasn't about to say anything.
“I know the basics,” Illito replied. “They require warm temperatures, have a hard mineral carapace. Do we know why they're expanding into Federation and Klingon space?” she asked.
“I don't, not precisely,” Dr. Carner said. “Though I could make some guesses, that's all they'd be. It's not exactly part of my concern.”
“Right,” Illito said, still disturbed by it. Admiral Magellan might have found out something, seeing as he'd just returned from their space, or he might not, seeing as how he'd been returned. Either way, Illito didn't know, and Dr. Carner was right, it wasn't truly important to the issue at hand right now. Too little was known about Tholian space, by their own choice, for her to hazard a guess. “But like any species, they need to do some adjustments to be comfortable on a planet. Especially considering the planets they've been choosing. We're essentially being asked to sabotage that process, right?”
“That process is going on in Federation space, and has been, secretly, for a while,” answered Dr. Carner, sounding perplexed by Illito's own wariness of the subject.
“Right, of course,” Illito answered, though her response seemed more automatic than anything else. She could leave the actual complexities of the diplomatic situation for others, and just focus on her assignment. And she would. It just bothered her, was all. Illito set down the PADD she'd still been holding, focusing herself. “Ok,” she muttered out loud. They just had to find some way to make the planet inhospitable to the Tholians. That should be easy. After all, it was easy to set a planet's atmosphere or ecosystem out of balance, much easier than it was to put it back together. But Illito thought they might have to do it to the planets where colonization had already started. Which meant nothing immediately fatal. “How do you think we should go about doing this?” she started. “Atmospheric disturbance would probably be the simplest, which we could do by making it thicker, which could force the planet to cool some?”

As he stood there in Commander Parsons quarters, His thoughts went back to Illito. He had hope his assignment would not keep him from seeing her. But never really knew what to expect, So he waited to find out what was going to be asked of him.
He was a pilot but he had to admit he wanted to study the ship they had captured. It was simple in design it had only one perpose to destroy. As much as he had admired the design it had also worried him. The Damage it could inflict was not something to over look, He was hoping he might find a way for future ship to beable to better combat them. You never know if they might run into them again there was always that chance.
He stood there waiting for Commander Parsons to give him his assignment. He hadn't really know there Xo so he wasn't to sure what to expect. He didn't know if he too would be angry at him for keep the crew seperated and away from key system, when they were rescued.

The chime rang and Parsons gave permission to enter. In walked Lt. Commander Pride, "Commander Parsons I was told to report you to find out my duties while the klingons were here."
"Very good, Mr. Pride. You will be resuming your duties as Chief Conn Officer as soon as we have a ship, but during this mission you will be on special assignment with our new Chief Operations Officer, Lt. Anderson. Have you two met?"
<TAG Pride>
"Myself, I only met her briefly, but she seems to be a fine officer." The Commander then offered Pride a refreshment from the replicator.
<TAG Pride>
"You are to work with Lieutenant Anderson on the computer information that was saved from the Scavenger and attempt to salvage anything of use. It may be quite a task. You will have access to the facilities, equipment, and personnel here on the starbase, so don't be afraid to use them and any Scavenger junior Scavenger crewmembers you might need."
"Any questions, Commander," Parsons said sipping his glass of water.
<TAG Pride>

"Drago to Parsons."
"Parsons here, Captain."
"Aye, Sir, I have spoken with Tintagel, Pride, Daya, and Hunter. I will track down Apirana and Anderson."
"Very good, thank you Commander. Shall we meet for dinner at say 1900hours in my quarters?"
"I will look forward to it, Captain."
"Excellent, I will see you later then. Drago out."
* * *
"Ah, Commander, come in, we shall wait for the others before we get started. Care for a drink?" Daya accepted a glass of water and sat down in the living area. Commander Parsons stood up and introduced everyone to Daya, pointing to each of the officers as he gave their names. Commander Desert Pride, navigations, and Marine captain William Hunter, our SMO."
Daya, Parsons, and Hunter made their way to the Klingon bird of Prey. They were stopped at the docking station by a Klingon, who said something in Klingon. Hunter and Parsons both turned to Daya, who, realizing this, replied in Klingon. The klingon officer contacted the captain before allowing them to enter. With a smile Daya stepped forward and led the way to the bridge. "Commander Daya will definitely be an asset on this mission," Parsons thought to himself.

He now knew what the mission in keeps, which he had conduct with Commander Daya and Parsons from on the Klingon ship Bird or Prey.
" Sorry, which I have not taken more earlier contact on with YOU, Commander Daya. When I leave of USS the Scavenger, I lost 2 Marines and I had regulate the matter for their commemoration service. " said William.
Now everything wash organized for the commemoration service for the 2 Marines. He could put himself 100% in for the mission. William and the two commander walk to the ship of the Klingon.

Listening to Commander Parsons and bring his attention back to the here and now
"Very good, Mr. Pride. You will be resuming your duties as Chief Conn Officer as soon as we have a ship, but during this mission you will be on special assignment with our new Chief Operations Officer, Lt. Anderson. Have you two met?"
" Yes sir she was aboard the Scavenger when I first came aboard. She's a good officer and easy to work with"
Acceptin the drink that the commander had gotten him.
" Sir I'm still a little confused, I wasn't sure the Captain Drago planned on keeping me after my actions aboard the South Carolina. I was under the impression that he thought I had betrayed him. Don't get me wrong I want to stay its just he didn't give me the feeling that he still wanted me around" <Tag parsons>
" As for questions I guess does this mean I will have unrestricted access to the ship I was able to snag. By study the ship and its computer corp I might with kate's help beable to figure away out on how to deal with them. Along with studying the corp I will need to take the ship out with Kate and see what she can do to better understand its limits and its abilitys" <Tag Parsons>

Katie had rushed back to her quarters after the meeting to be alone. She sat in her temporary quarters with the lights off and thought of nothing but the mission she had been given. She thought of the hard training that she had gone through in the past year and how she couldn’t tell anybody, not even Paikea about it.
She thought about Paikea and how much he had changed since they last saw each other. It was this one person that caused Katie to crack more than anything else. She feared of the pain that she was going to cause when all the details of her assignment finally came to light.
A message appeared on Katie’s computer and she moved to check it. It was a message she had been waiting for and finally it had come. She was to proceed on as planned. Without a second thought Katie deleted the message as she had been instructed before getting up to turn the lights back on.
=^=Pride to Katie.=^=
=^=I got our assignment details from Commander Parson. Can you meet me in the command section of Assailant?=^=
=^=I’ll be there in just a few.=^=
=^=Good I’ll see you there then.=^=
Before leaving Katie stopped in front of her wall mirror. She checked her hair as she always did before leaving but this time she looked at her self for the first time. She didn’t see a young Starfleet Lieutenant anymore instead she saw a scared girl going off to do a mission that she knew would cause pain in those she called friend.
Her instructor’s words echoed in her head, “For the defense of Starfleet.” With a deep breath Katie walked out of her quarters and knew there was no turning back now.

After he talk with Commander Parsons he left his quarters and got a call from Katie, She wanted to meet him in the Command section of the Assailant.
" Not a problem Lt I"ll be there shortly, although I dont mind admitting I feel alittle out of my element on this one. I'm a pilot not a computer guy if its got wings and a engine no problem. I will help out in what ever way I can."
A few Minutes later he met Katie in the command section. "I"ll follow your lead on this okay I"m a little out of my depth her. I did get permission to study the fighter that we snagged along with its computre corp. I was thinking that we could test it out to see what it can do and then come up with a program to combat them,What do you think?"<Tag Katie>

Daya's head circled the ship as they walked towards the bridge, and the captain. Daya, having been onboard numorous birds of prey, was more remeniscing then anything, he still remember being carried to teh bridge to sit in the captains chair for out eating the first mate in a contest. When they finally arrived at the bridge the captain was waiting to see them. "I am Captain Lor' Tahk you must be commander parsons, commander Daya, and captain hunter" he asked as he stood to greet them. Commander Parsons stepped forward and shook hands with the klingon, who seemed to crush parsons hand in his own, he then walked to hunter, and shook his hand in the same matter. When the captain stopped in front of Daya, he looked him over for a moment, before extending his hand. Daya shook the captain's hand with as much gusto as he was receiving, and it seemed like the two were testing one another's strength. The bridge crew gathered around to watch the display as Daya and the captain kept up with the hand shake. Daya finally gave in, not wanting to displease the captain on their first encounter. "HAHA, you have a good deal of strength with you, your not part klingon are you?" He asked jokingly, and Daya shook his head, "i am not, unfortuneatly" The captain smiled heartily and showed them around the bridge quickly. "this is where you will be working with our tactical officer, Lt. Koar I look forward to some of your upgrades." Daya looked over at the console, the Lt. and then back to Parsons and hunter. "get to work?" He asked looking at Parsons.

"I’ll follow your lead on this okay I’m a little out of my depth here. I did get permission to study the fighter that we snagged along with its computer core. I was thinking that we could test it out to see what it can do and then come up with a program to combat them, what do you think?"
“I think that’s a good idea.” Katie replied.
She moved over to one of the open computers and started to access the data that Pride had wanted to look at. Katie then went ahead and found the information that Captain Drago wanted her to look at.
“This is all the information we have on the fighters.” Katie said to Pride.
(Pride)
Katie then went about her business of trying to locate, tag and organize all the information that was brought back from the Scavenger. She knew there was going to be time sensitive material that Captain Drago wanted to look at so she thought it would be best to try and find that stuff out first.
While Katie was looking through the information she felt a soft tap on her shoulder. When she turned around she standing in front of tall male Commander who reminded her a lot of Paikea.
“Are you Lieutenant Anderson?” He asked.
“Yes.” Katie replied in a curious tone.
“You have a private message from Starfleet Command.” He said.
Katie did her best to act confused by this but she already knew this was coming. The young Commander showed her to his office where she could view her message. After thanking the Commander Katie went about opening the message. As she had thought it was brief and right to the point so she didn’t have to worry about figuring out the writers intentions.
“Computer. Can you transfer the data from my work station into this room?” Katie asked.
=^=Affirmative.=^=
Katie watched as all the information she was looking at out in the other room appeared in front of her. She then placed a small black device on the monitor and pushed a few commands to make the device come to life.
“Computer please reply to the sender of this transmission with the data I just requested. And please encode the transmission as Top Secret.” Katie said.
=^=Transmission sent.=^=
Katie finished up what she was doing and made sure to cover up all the information she had accessed in that room before walking out of the Commander’s office. He was standing next to the door waiting for her to finish up and when she did he smiled politely at her.
“Thank you very much.” Katie said with a smile.
“My pleasure.” He replied.
Katie saw that Pride was still working hard and she walked up next to him to continue doing her work also. She really didn’t know what to say to him since it had been soo long since she had seen him. She knew that with Pai everybody else on board had gone through some tough times. So the only thing she had to talk about was work related stuff.
“How’s it going so far?” Katie asked.

OOC sorry parson, getting bored so ima move us along some more
IC
With a nod from the commander, Daya moved over to stand behind Lt. Koar who looked up at him with a hint of disgust. The klingon muttered something under his breath, but Daya didnt bother to pay attention. Commander Parsons took a padd and handed it to Daya before handing one to Hunter. Daya looked over the PADD, seeing that all it had on it was a few minor updates, "we can start with these, and then work from there later.
As soon as Daya finished with his update, just alittle something to add more power to the phasers, he quickly tried to gain access to the computers logs to see when the last time they came in contact with another klingon vessel was, however when the logs came up he didnt have time to read them, or download them. The captain had walked over and began talking to Commander Parsons, asking about there progress.

Watching Kaite leave to answer a personal message, he set him self to work. He was studying the design of the fighter while she was gone. When he started to notice things in the design, things that were starting to worry him. He couldn't be sure until he got a closer look and put the fighter through its paces.
When Katie came back she seemed alittle out of sorts. He really hadn't known Katie long but thought she was a good person to get to know. Maybe even a friend if things went right, He liked haveing friends and his Heart already belonged to Illito. So there was nothing left but friendship if possible.
When she asked him if he found anything. " Uh uh no not yet, not until I can take the figther out for a spin to see what it can do. The design is good but I need to know what it can do in order to combat it." He wasn't lieing really it was just a hunch but if he was right. Then the federation was in big trouble and only his home world would beable to help.
" Why dont we go for a spin the fighter has two seats. You can study the read outs and put it through it paces while I see what it realy can and can't do" <Tag Katie>
Before she could answer He tapped his combadge " Illito I'm thinking of taking the alien ship out for a spin. I'm going to be putting it through alot of test. I was hoping that you might have something for Katie to handle the motioin sickness" < Tag Illito>
Looking back at Katie " No offense Katie but your not going to be use to the turns and stuff I'll doing. Not to mention it might even make me sick but I'm use to that stuff already"
Waiting for a respones from Illito " I was also wonder if you might be free later on tonight as well for a walk. I want to hear how your day went " <Tag Illito>

“None taken.” Katie said.
She didn’t know how she was going to be feel when Pride was going to be zipping around the stars in a nimble little fighter. She could already feel her heart starting to beat really fast and her stomach starting to get tied into knots.
“Do you think Captain Drago will get mad at us for taking one of the fighters out on a joy ride?” Katie asked.
