S'reena stood to the side, watching her cadet with a mix of fear and interest. She thought this woman could be extremely dangerous and decided to assign a covert security to her once they were done with this. "Rules of acquisition?" she echoed, "what would Romulans possibly do with that?"
She tapped her combadge. "Richards, are you able to get anything on the Romulan vessel? Isis is reporting talk about Rules of Acquisition....and I sincerely doubt that Romulans would discuss this."
<Richards>
She turned to the EMH. "Analysis doctor? Is she in danger or is she a danger to us?"
<Henchard as EMH?>
Then she tapped her combadge. "Hope to Taylor, report to holodeck two. We may have a situation and I want you briefed on this asap! Daya, you might want to tag along too."

=A=Hope to Taylor, report to holodeck two. We may have a situation and I want you briefed on this asap! Daya, you might want to tag along too=A= Commander Hope ordered over the comm system , barely a Minuit before using a site to site transport to travel to the holodeck with Isis.
=A= Aye , on my way =A= By the time he was replying he had one foot on the turbo lift , he had a feeling that this would happen. He looked at Daya to see his reaction to this.
<Daya>
Scene: Holodeck two
When the doors opened Taylor expected to see a program running but saw nothing but white light with 3 characters standing in the distance , he brushed his hand against his weapon , half wondering weather to draw it now but opted to keep it holstered for the time being.
=A= computer identify program=A= =A= EMH Medical assistance =A=
=A= computer there is an environment program i can see it , identify it please=A=
=A= No program is running=A=
=A= arch=A=
Taping commands into the newly appeared console , Taylor discovered that the Hanson computer WASN'T running a program after all , but that this wired light was being generated by a machine IN the room , using the holodeck as a projector.
=A= hide arch =A= The cadet walked to wards the 3 individuals hoping that they could explain this to him. As he approached S'reena she turned to him and he could see the urgency in her eyes. The EMH was already using a medical Tricorder , seemingly monitoring Isis , who now had her back to S'reena and the cadet and seemed to be breathing at elevated levels.
"Commander?" Damon asked hesitently...

Location: Shuttle (Back)
(OOC I'd love to do the part of the EMH as well, but in my current time crunch, I can't even believe that I'm writing a regular post. I'll pay for this tomorrow morning)
"Thanks for the lift." Cadet Henchard set the aged Vulcan down on a makeshift operating table. "Nice to meet you. Cadet 3rd class, Michael Henchard," Henchard said hurriedly.
Henchard dug around in his medical case, throwing away useless items until he finally found what he was looking for: a small vial of experimental compound #3314.
A dismayed looking Lieutenant Shinsei nervously asked "Is there any way I can help?"
Henchard saw that the lieutenant wouldn't be able to assist in any complex medical procedures, so he made the obvious comment "Get me some water. And two tricorders."
<tag Shinsei>
(OOC I'm about to try some crazy medical procedure, but I don't know what it is. Feel free to make up the next step, or feel free to lead into something. Just remember, compound #3314, water, and two tricorders to counter some kind of unidentified poisoning/coma)

OOC ok i'm back, and ready to go.
"A Shadow-class vessel," she murmured. "Taylor and Daya see what intel have we got on this type of vessel. I doubt they're up to any good."
"Aye ma'am" Daya said, moving in beside Taylor, "watch and learn" Daya said, tapping various controls quickly, bringing up a small display about the vessel. He looked over that cadet, surprised to see that he had kept up with him.
"Hope to Taylor, report to holodeck two. We may have a situation and I want you briefed on this asap! Daya, you might want to tag along too." =A= Aye , on my way =A= cadet taylor said, By the time he was replying he had one foot on the turbo lift , he had a feeling that this would happen. He looked at Daya to see his reaction to this. Daya smiled at the cadet momentarily, then dropped into a more serious look. 'something is definatly not right about this whole thing' He thought to himself as they rode the turbolift.
"If you are wondering why the computer says it is not running a program, it is because the short term memory gets wiped by the program running to help keep the generators working"
"What generators? and what program are you talking about? Whats going on here?" Daya spoke up as they stood next to Hope, Isis, and the EMH.

Location: Merchant Vessel.
Moving quickly, Drew ducked back down the entrance hatch, and grabbed hold of the ladder. He disliked being in such a vulnerable position, if someone was stand at either end of the ladder; they could easily shoot all three members of Drew’s team.
“Shuttle Graeme to Admiral Drew,” came Crystal’s voice, Transporters are still online, but I am experiencing problems, I should be able to beam two of you back to the shuttle, but I will need some time before I can transport again.
“Understood Lieutenant,” Drew called over his comm speakers, “beam Cadet Katan and Dr. Kalen directly to the shuttle now.”
“Admiral, no!” Katan protested, but whatever further arguments she was going to make were cut off as the transporter beamed claimed her and Kalen.
Watching the two officers disappear, Drew felt more secure, now he only had himself to worry about, he would be able to take some risks. What he was about to do was far too risky for more than one person to try in this confined space, but one person should be able to do it easily.
Taking a deep breath, Drew let go of the ladder, and allowed himself to start to full down the long shift. With only a few seconds to react, he quickly pressed the small turbo boasters in his boots, allowing him to land safely and securely on the metal surface below.
Sighing with relief that his plan had worked, and that he was in one piece, Drew pulled out his tricorder and starting scanning the area beyond the hatch infront of him. He could detect some life signs, but at the moment they appeared to be masked.
“Drew to Brelev,” he whispered, activating his comm system, “what is your status?”
We are under fire Admiral,” Brelev reported.
“How far are you from the shuttle?” Drew asked, trying to find Brelev and her team on his tricorder.
“Not far,[i/]” Brelev reported, “we are on the deck, just awaiting our chance to make a run for the shuttle.”
“Then get ready for that chance,” Drew replied, finding Brelev and the others on his tricorder, “I’ll cover you while you make a run for the shuttle, I’ll follow”
“S’reena will kill me if I agree to that,” Brelev said, the displeasure clear in her voice.
“S’reena isn’t here,” Drew countered, “now get ready.”
Counting silently to three in his hand, Drew studied his tricorder readings, and readied his phaser, fully prepared; he burst through the hatch infront of him. Seeing a body moving infront of him, Drew fired instantly, thankful that he remembered to check his phaser was set to stun only. Checking over his fallen adversary, Drew was surprised to see the hint of orange skin beneath the man’s clothing.
Pulling off the helmet that the adversary had worn, Drew was shocked to discover he was a Ferengi. Now he knew what to look for, Drew readjusted his tricorder settings, sure enough all of the hostile force showed as Ferengi life signs.
Storing that information in his mind for use later, Drew got back to his feet, and hurried down the corridor to give Brelev and her team the support they needed.
Reaching the end of the corridor, Drew could see Brelev and the others trapped behind a turning on the rightside of the next corridor, towards the left were four Ferengi, all equipped with Romulan disrupter rifles, firing powerful shots towards his crew.
“Get ready Commander,” Drew said over the comm system. Taking the element of surprise, Drew fire a series of phaser shoots down the corridor, momentarily taking the Ferengi by surprise, the four assailants stop firing, instead consulting there own version of the tricorder.
Taking their chance, Brelev and her team quickly ran down the corridor, Methos firing his phaser rifle at the four Ferengi as he went, Drew followed suited, and ran as fast as his suit allowed down to the shuttle bay, firing his own phaser at the Ferengi.
Reaching the shuttle, Drew quickly pressed the control to shut the hatch, as the four Feregni rushed into the shuttle bay and started firing.
“Crystal, get us out of here now,” Drew ordered, “Methos take Tactical, take out anything that tries to stop us leaving.”
OOC:
Anyone feel free to post the shuttle returning to the Hanson, I’ll post again tomorrow.

"Well Commander. What I would do is to recover the vital systems of ship, distributing the energy, we could have greater control and a good defense against a possible encounter."
Jason thought of what his cadet had just said. Was it better to secure the vital systems of the ship or fix the problem that was plaguing the ship? He personally would fix the problem and then go around securing the ships vital systems. As of now most of them were in working order. Jason would leave the decesion up to his cadet who would have to make these types of decision once he was station in the fleet.
Jason made sure to give his cadet every option there was, but he would make sure that the young cadet made the decision.
"Mr. Richards, its your choice," Jason said.

S'reena locked gazes with the security chief. "Miss Isis collapsed on the bridge when spotting that Romulan vessel. Apparently the implants she possesses kicked in and she had us transported to this holodeck. This device apparently allows her to interface with that ship out there, to some extend anyway."
She glanced at Taylor. "See what you can find out about this device but make certain it stays operational. I don't know what would happen if this device were to fail. Doctor, keep an eye on her vitals, but beam her to sickbay immediately if there is any danger to her."
The Romulan saw that Isis was about to protest. The woman was solely relying on her hearing now, as she was completely blind to her immediate surroundings. "Not a word from you cadet," S'reena snapped, though not too unkindly, "those are my orders. Your life is more important than gaining intelligence on that ship out there. Now, focus on what you are seeing and report!"
Her eyes locked with that of the EMH. "How is she doing doctor, is she in danger?"
"Not yet," the EMH grumbled as he peered at his tricorder, "heartbeat and respiration are elevated and I am detecting high amounts of adrenalin in her system. As soon as she's entering the dangerzone, I'll let you know."
S'reena turned back to Daya. "What do we know about the Shadow class?" she asked, "Isis seems certain that my father worked on the Shadow project over 40 years ago, but I have been unable to gather the proper data."

Brelev collapsed on the char next to Admiral Drew. "Alright, who's injured?" <Tag All> That delt with Brelev left the cockpit and headed to the back where her Cadet was dutifully doctoring a Vulcan "what do we have here?" she asked <Tag Henchard> "We haven't go the intruments to do a decent job of that here, once we get back to the ship beam him directly to sickbay and we'll take care of him there. I'm certain he has information we need." Brelev gave her cadet a reassuring pat on the back, even if she did not like such contact, most species did and she was certain that the biggest thing her cadet needed was encouragement.
The shuttle docked with the Hanson and Brelev arranged to have both the Vulcan and her cadet beam into sickbay. The Vulcan was Henchard's patient and she trusted him to get to the bottom of his condition without her constant guidance. Brelev got out of her EM suit and headed to sickbay on foot.
"Computer, activate the EMH." Brelev commanded. =A=unable to comly=A= "Explain" Brelev tapped her foot impatiently, she wanted the EMH to help Henchard. =A=The EMH program is currently running in Holodeck 2=A= "What the... Henchard, I'll be in holodeck 2" Brelev called out.
<Tag Henchard>
As Brelev enterd the holodeck She was greeted by the EMH, S'reena Hope, Daya, Dameon Taylor and Cadet Isis who was splayed out on the floor. "What is going on? why is she here? what happened?" Brelev asked all at once. She grabbed a Medical tricoder out of her med kit and began to look Cadet Isis over. "Report Commander!"

"Mr. Richards, its your choice," Jason said.
Max feared that the Commander said that.
"Commander, I believe that..." suddenly Max felt been dizzy, many things happened through his head, he watched the console and he faint.
Ten minutes later in the Sickbay...
Max woke up scared, he recognized the place, he was in the Sickbay. He did not remember anything of which there was past, only that he was in bridge in front of the console. "I had a faint?" Max thought.
At that moment, remembering the happened thing, he had a prefeeling, like a premonition. Something was bad, felt that all ship was in danger. He watched towards both sides, a doctor approached to speak with him.
"How you feel?" the doctor said.
Max delayed in responding, "I'm fine", he watched the doctor and he said "Where is the Commander Reynolds"
"In the bridge, I guess"
Said that, Max left the stretcher and he went to turbolift. Once within bridge, Max was surprised by the Commander Reynolds, he waited for him with a smile.
"Mr. Richards, you feels better?"
Max was paralyzed, soon said:
"Commander, I believe that we are in serious danger! "
"Calm cadet, how can be so safe of that?"
"Sir, my faints are not common, will see, I suffer of a special type of epilespsy" Max said in low voice, as if nobody had to find out, "During those faints, I am brief sleepy, prefeelings or premonitions, 'Dawn' is denominated. Enough time ago it did not happen to me. It is why I believe that we could be in danger"
The Commander watched it perplex. That was not in the medical files of the cadet, but for some reason the Commander believed to him.
"Continues..." the Commander said finally.
Max approached to the console of operations and began to operate it, more quickly than other times.
"I believe that I can turn aside the energy sufficient like so that vital systems they work with normality. And soon I will make a complete diagnostic to detect the root of the problem."
Reynolds remained watching.

OOC : Sorry for being late, I’m still a little dizzy after the exams. Location : Engineering"They might have the opposite charge ten the current hull charge. you can check..." he coughed. "and if not, they can be turned to a negative value as a normal procedure. That'll get most of it." Max paused. "One more thing, and if you fail this one I'm flunking you." He paused again. "get me out of here."Stress mixed anxiety and anger in Charlotte’s blood when Commander Smith’s speech turned to a bitter end. “Aye sir, I’ll see if I can get you the opportunity to sack me” she answered coldly. “First I doubt that was an explosion” she went on more calmly “we’ve got no security or damage report about any, but we know the EM wave has shut down some airlocks security.” (ooc : as nobody on the ship has reacted to your explosion hint I turned it that way, I hope you don’t mind ) <tag Smith> As she was talked Charlotte was also writing a report to bridge and security : airlock blocked open on Deck 15 Junction 2c , atmosphere compromised, chief engineer in danger.“I’m sending a team to get you out of there.” While she was saying that a report appeared on her screen. “Good news Commander, you’re going to have a quicker lift.” Charlotte tapped her combadge again. “Engineering to Transporter room 5, can you get a lock on Commander Smith on Deck 15 and beam him back to Engineering, emergency procedure.” “Stand by” the officer replied. After a few seconds he went on “I can’t. Some kind of shield is surrounding the target, I can’t transport him.” “Acknowledge.” Charlotte tapped her combagde again. “Boissey to Smith. Good news is not so good, transporters are back on line but your personal shield is preventing us to transport you to a safer location. I’ll try to get the polarizers online. If I can get the emergency containment field on this airlock back that will help your rescue team.” <tag Smith> ------------------------------------------------------- Ooc : Here is the comeback of my dear Tellarite, I hope nobody mind the npc use to do two things at one time I’m letting the security officer part open if anyone wants to help rescuing our dear Chief engineer. IC : Depressurization on Deck 15, Chief engineer stuck in the middle and moreover Kron had to wear an EV suit. A security officer accompanied him to a safe corner on the targeted deck. They made their way to the junction 2c on heavy pace due to the EV suit. Several force fields had been set in place in the way to the compromised section. The two crewmen used them as locks to access the junction 2c. Kron secured himself by fastening a security rope to the wall. Then he tried to get the airlock shut back while the security officer was joining Commander Smith in the stuck turbolift. The Tellarite chief opened a sideways panel to access manual closing device. The thing was hard to pull. He managed to get it shutting half way at price of great efforts. The hatch finally shut but didn’t lock completely. At least nobody could be sucked into empty space now. ----------------------------------------------------- Location : Engineering Charlotte had displayed orders about the hull polarizers. Engineers complied but Charlotte knew there were awkward looks on this cadet science who was giving instructions to experienced engineers. She mentioned Commander Smith’s name to reassure them. Fifteen minutes later the polarizers were online and Charlotte could try to counter the EM radiation wave. It cost her fifteen extra minutes to get the right setting to match the radiation frequency. The newly back online sensors indicated that the ship’s EM field was slowly returning back to normal as the electric charges were finding a natural escape through the power system. Power fluctuations were decreasing, systems getting stability. “Engineering to the bridge. EM radiation are controlled. Systems are getting back to normal status. We will be able to get the warp core back on line in about 40 minutes.” <tag Bridge> “Boissey to Kron. Junction 2c force field back in place. Life support will be ok in 2 minutes. Commander Smith, cadet Boissey waiting orders.” <tag Smith> Ooc : I hope there is not a great amount of mistakes, I’m almost asleep.

"Commander, I believe that..." suddenly Max felt been dizzy, many things happened through his head, he watched the console and he fainted.
Jason was surprised to see his cadet fall to the floor apparently unconscious.
=^=Bridge to sickbay, we have a medical emergency=^=
Jason saw as his cadet was transported from the bridge to sickbay. He would go see him shortly, but right now he had to finish what his cadet had started. Jason did not have to wait a very long time to see his cadet, which made Jason smile.
"Mr. Richards, you feel better?" Jason said
Max was stopped talking and Jason almost thought that he had stopped breathing.
"Commander, I believe that we are in serious danger!"
"Calm down cadet, what type of danger are you talking about?"
"Sir, my faints are not common, well see, I suffer from a special type of epilepsy,"Max said in low voice, as if nobody had to find out."During these faints, I am briefly asleep, I have pre-feelings or premonitions, 'Dawn' is denominated. A long time has passed since I'd have these premonitions. this didn't happen to me. It is why I believe that we could be in danger. "
Jason stood there listening to what his cadet had to say. None of what he was telling him was in his permanent record. It didn't even mention that he had epilepsy. Even so, his conviction told Jason that what he was saying was very real.
"Continue...." Jason finally said.
Max approached to the console of operations and began to operate it, more quickly than other times.
"I believe that I can turn aside the energy sufficient like so that vital systems they work within normalcy and soon I will make a complete diagnostic to detect the root of the problem."
Jason couldn't help, but be perplexed by the actions of his cadet. One moment he was warning him that the ship and everyone in it was in dire danger. The next he was working incredibly fast on problems that they had been working on for now a couple of hours.
"Mr. Richards.....stop," Jason said so that only he would hear him. It took his cadet a few seconds to stop and when he did he looked up at Jason.
"Please follow me," Jason said not prolonging this any longer. If what Max said was true these premonitions would come in handy, but he had to make sure.
=^=Doctor, I'm bringing Cadet Richards to sickbay. I know that your busy, but it's vital that you see him right away. I will explain everything later=^=
"Computer sickbay," Jason said noticing that his cadet had not spoken or tried to stop him.

That would probably be because there's a loop in the indicator system." Max sighed. Which, y the way, is hanging by two cords from the ceiling. Jut be careful, power is shorted out as well, and well, I described the indicator to you, right?" there was some discussion on that probably, and Max was already mentally redesigning the indicator. good thing nobody cares about deck 15 he thought dryly. only one section where people actually work, and 2 that turbolifts can reach....“Boissey to Smith. Good news is not so good, transporters are back on line but your personal shield is preventing us to transport you to a safer location. I’ll try to get the polarizers online. If I can get the emergency containment field on this airlock back that will help your rescue team.” "That could be a problem. It's not in good shape right now. and the hatch isn't designed to close without starbase maintenance, or else the antimatter pods might not come out." a pause. "I'll see what I can do in rewiring the system. in the meantime, some help would be nice." it took a little bit, but in about 15 minutes Max had rigged a device. it involved a lever and an electric control, which was powered by what had been powering the now useless safety indicator. Kron beamed in in his environmental suit- Max wasn't surprised- and showed him how to work the deice. together they worked the arm into position, and the hatch was soon foced closed. “Boissey to Kron. Junction 2c force field back in place. Life support will be ok in 2 minutes. Commander Smith, cadet Boissey waiting orders.” "Order number one: never leave starfleet. order number 2, as soon as you beam us out, take over engineering, Kron can help you if you need it. I'll need to head to sickbay. the atmosphere in there could not have been healthy." --------- Am minute later, they were standing on transporter pads. Max started to feel sick, and rushed out the door and down the hall to sickbay. he barley made it in the doors when the world went black. OOC: Charlotte: a note about technoligy. Indicators alerts, everything on a ship is connected in some fashion.if you can make it make sense and it doesn't conflict with established facts, it can be made to work. sims are about inventivness, epecaly since we're set in the future. it can be a chalenge, but I think you cna handle it.

Location: Shuttle "Get me some water. And two tricorders." Crystal nodded in response and headed off to find them. She wasn't sure why the cadet wanted two tricorders, she would think the fact that all tricorders were identical would prevent the second one from doing anything the first one couldn't. She shrugged, and grabbed them before heading to the replicator to ask it for water.
The replicator wasn't working, so Crystal quickly searched the shuttle until she was able to find the rations, including water, and she handed the water and tricorders over to Cadet Henchard.
The commsystem interrupted Crystal's intrigued watch over Henchard, and with the ensuing events Crystal didn't have time to indulge her curiosity about what Henchard was doing, but then again, her help wasn't needed so she didn't need to understand the medical cadet anyway.
When Admiral Drew wasn't among the two Crystal transported to the shuttle she became worried. It was bad strategy in the first place to remove the Admiral from the Hanson, and now he appeared to have been left alone. She was understandably relieved when the rest of the away team entered the shuttle, and Crystal was able to take the shuttle back to the Hanson.
Crystal gently steered the shuttle back to the Hanson, and despite everyone's obvious hurry to get back to their jobs in the ship she ran over the list of pre-docking procedures one more time, before docking. No matter what other people needed to do there was no point in crashing the shuttle and killing everyone aboard, as well as taking out a good section or two of the Hanson.

"Report Commander!" Brelev snapped after surveying what was going on in the holodeck.
S'reena wasn't certain she liked the CMO's tone of voice, because she sounded as though she waned herself to be in command. "Stand down doctor," S'reena snapped right back, but proceeded to explain what had happened in a milder tone of voice.
"We need to deactivate her implants," S'reena suggested, "it will be dangerous to the cadet, but right now she is a security risk." She nodded towards Daya and Taylor. "Get back to the bridge and report on what happened here," she ordered, "and keep an eye on that vessel. Cadet Isis said the occupants were talking about the Rules of Acquisition, that tells me that there are no Romulans aboard, or at least not in control of that vessel. Seize the vessel if you can, or at least beam the occupants to our brig if possible. I'll be back on the bridge as soon as I can."
<Daya/Taylor.....you can't seize the vessel but you can most certainly try!>
S'reena turned back to Brelev. "I think we should get her to sickbay." The Romulan ignored Isis' protests, grabbed the hypospray from the EMH and pressed it against her cadet's throat. The woman instantly went limp in her instructor's arms. "Do what you can for her doctor," the Romulan instructed after handing the unconscious cadet to the CMO, "I'll be stopping by soon to check up on her. I have to get back to the bridge."
<Brelev....do please block those implants somehow for now at least. Isis feel free to protest once you regain consciousness>
S'reena turned on her heels and marched out of the holodeck. "Report!" she stated, upon re-entering the bridge. "Status of the away team?" she querried, as she sat down in the centre chair.

“Aye Sir, I’ll make you beamed immediately. – Transporter room 5, beam Commander Smith and repair team in the transporter room closest to sickbay. Boissey out.”
As those words slipped out of her lips Charlotte leaned on her console, laying her head on her arms and taking a deep breath. That was a damn first day of duty. It took her a few moments to understand what Commander Smith had said. Taking over engineering ? Hell was an endless path. “Mon royaume pour un café” she let out loud using the French translation of Shakespeare’s line with a personal adaptation. Her little break was now finished and she had to oversee the warp core initialisation. She stood up and walk to the control panel of the intermix chamber. She didn’t get involved in the settings the engineers were doing, she was just observing and making sure as was her responsibility.

Max could not believe the attitude of the Commander, he quickly left what he was doing.
"Please follow me" said his instuctor.
Max followed without saying it a single word.
=A=Doctor, I'm bringing Cadet Richards to sickbay. I know that your busy, but it's vital that you see him right away. I will explain everything later=A= spoke with his commbadge.
They approached to the turbolift.
"Computer sickbay" and turbolift began to descend.
Max did not know that to say. He noticed something new in the Commander, one slight sample of anger for the first time.
Finally he said "Commander, I..." but he was interrupted by the Commander "Mr. Richards, let us see that the doctor says".
When the doors of turbolift were opened, both were in sickbay where a smiling doctor waited for them.
"Commander, Cadet, how I can help?"
<Tag Reynolds>
"I see... cadet, speaks about your parents, please." the doctor said while he manipulated something similar to a PADD.
"Well, my father is human pure, he never had these problems and my mother ..." Max take a pause "...my mother, she died when I was born... she was betaziod "
"Mmmh... put in the stretcher" the doctor said, soon the doctor began to analyze it , "Your neural system this good, I do not see great alterations." he made a pause and he said "Commander, those faints are caused by the union of their parents." Now speaking to Max "You was born with the telepathic ability, right?."
Max and Reynolds watched the doctor, surprised.
"Telepathic ability!?" thought Max, "It cannot be!"

“The Away Team are back safe and sound Commander,” Drew said as he stepped out of the turbolift.
“Welcome back Admiral,” S’reena replied, rising from the centre chair, “we have some company.”
“So I see,” Drew replied, as he stepped down to the command level and took his chair, “have we heard anything from them yet?”
“Negative,” S’reena replied, “so far they haven’t been responding to hails.”
Drew looked to the forward viewscreen, and watched as the green ship moved closer towards his vessel; he could see various blinking lights along its hull, but nothing that suggested what its intentions were.
“I don’t think we are dealing with Romulans,” Drew finally said after a brief pause, “the attackers on the Bristol were Ferengi, and its unlike the Romulans to make such a bold move as this.”
“That would explain a lot,” S’reena replied, “what else did you learn on the Bristol?”
“That they had been hit by a strong shockwave that disabled the vessel,” Drew replied, “also that they had been in contact with another ship, a Starfleet science vessel that we are going to have to find.”
“What about our visitors?” S’reena asked, “I don’t think they are going to just let us go.”
“Warp drive will soon be back on,” Drew replied, “and we are faster than they are.”
“True enough,” S’reena answered, “I’ll tell Engineering to speed up repairs.”
Drew nodded in agreement, and pulled up his command screen to review the ship’s status, everything seemed to be running back on full power.
“Crystal, once we have warp drive, take us out of here,” Drew ordered, “I am relaying coordinates to your console, once we arrive, begin deep sensor scans to try to locate the USS Sutherland.”
“Sutherland?” S’reena repeated, “Isn’t that the ship Admiral McCormick was travelling on?”
“The very same,” Drew replied, “Hence we need to find the ship ASAP.”
“We also have some Cadet’s down in sickbay,” S’reena informed Drew, “Cadets Isis and Richards have been showing some strange telepathic abilities.”
“Go down to sickbay and check on them,” Drew replied, “if possible we need everyone back on their stations now.” “Understood Admiral,” S’reena answered, as she headed for the turbolift.
“Bridge to Engineering,” Drew said as his XO left the bridge, “how long til we have warp drive again?”
OOC:
Right, time to move forward gang, the Shadow ship can follow us when we warp out, but at the moment I don’t want to engage them. Our science Cadets can start getting ready to search for the USS Sutherland, Tactical Cadets can also do the same. Cadets Isis and Richards, once you have left sickbay, both report to the bridge and your stations. Cadet Richards part of your task now is to co-ordinate all the ship’s operations, make sure the sensors have enough power for the search, monitor the state of repairs, make sure tactical have everything they need etc.

“Bridge to Engineering,” Drew said as his XO left the bridge, “how long til we have warp drive again?”
“Ten minutes to go, Admiral. Main power is back online but we still need several minutes to be able to generate the warp field.” Charlotte answered the Admiral’s question through the comlink.
She had received some reports about the other Federation vessel from the away team, she was now worrying about this EM shockwave to be a weapon of this unknown vessel next to the Hanson. She was not sure how the hull polarizers could protect the ship from a second wave. So the ten minutes passed really slowly. But then the lights on the panels turned massively green and the column of light in front of Charlotte brightened. She pressed the comlink button.
“Engineering to bridge. Warp drive back on line. The ship’s ready to go.”

"Commander, Cadet, how I can help?" Doctor Brelev asked.
"Cadet Richards has informed me that he has been having some sort of visions, lets say premonitions," Jason said," I was concerned and decided to come down here for your evulation."
"I see... cadet, speaks about your parents, please." the doctor said while she manipulated something similar to a PADD.
"Well, my father is human pure, he never had these problems and my mother ..." Max tok a pause "...my mother, she died when I was born... she was betaziod "
"Mmmh... get on the stretcher" the doctor said, soon the doctor began to analyze him. "Your neural system is good, I don't see great alterations."
"Commander, those faints are caused by the union of his parents." Now speaking to Max "You was born with the telepathic ability, right?."
"Telepathic ability!?" thought Max, "It cannot be!"
"ACtually cadet Richards that would explain a lot," Jason said," we know that Betaziod's reach telepathic ability during puberty. Since your half Beaziod that ability must have been reduced, but now its resurfacing."
His cadet seemed to take everything in. He was still surprised that he was a telepath, but he would get used to it. This was the best result that could be asked for.
"Well doctor, we'll be on our way, I'm sure we are needed on the bridge," Jason said as he headed out sickbay and towards the bridge.

S'reena couldn't believe it; Admiral McCormick's ship had disappeared and the Hanson wasn't traveling at top speed to find them, let alone making a conscious effort to find them. And here Drew ordered her down to sickbay to check on some cadets, who had gotten themselves hurt.
She looked back over her shoulder at Drew as she walked towards the turbolift. "I'll be back soon," she promised, then cast Kalen and Reynolds (who had come back to the bridge) a meaningful glance. ~you had better have found the Sutherland before I get back~ she thought, forgetting that Kalen was a telepathic Betazoid.
No sooner was she in sickbay or she had located the two cadets. "Are they able to return to the bridge?" she asked.
Brelev nodded in response. "I have given Cadet Richards a mild neurosuppressor, so his telepathic ability is suppressed for now. He'll need guidance in developing his newfound skill. Cadet Isis' implants have also been blocked by neurosuppressants, she won't need any new shots before a few days to come. They'll both be all right and ready for limited duties."
S'reena nodded, then motioned for both cadets to get up and head for the bridge. Then she went to her quarters to check up on some messages before returning to the bridge herself. "Any news?" she querried.

Location: Shuttle (This post starts around the time that the shuttle begins its return) Cadet Henchard finally had everything that he needed to execute his medical procedure.
The Water: Cadet Henchard took the flask of water and drank it immediately. "Thanks, Lieutenant. I was getting thirsty."
The compound: The cadet took experimental compound 3314, loaded it into a hypospray, and injected it into the elderly Vulcan.
The first tricorder: After finishing up with the hypospray, Cadet Henchard set the first tricorder to scan the Vulcan's bloodstream for all samples of compound 3314.
The second tricorder: Cadet Henchard programmed the second tricorder to extract all traces of compound 3314 from the Vulcan's blood supply.
(Okay, I should have been able to do it with one tricorder, but I'm a doctor, not a programmer, and I wasn't really sure how to simultaneously scan and extract!)
"Very good, Cadet. It seems that you have everything under control." Commander Brelev entered and observed the tricorder's readings, indicating that all traces of poison had been eliminated. "What do we have here?" inquired the commander, gesturing toward the cadet's unsightly triage setup.
"Experimental compound 3314. Although not yet approved for widespread use in the Federation, it has proven to be one of the best potential antitoxins in existence. For many tricky poision, the compound piggybacks onto the toxen molecules, allowing me to extract the poison from the blood."
"Alright, cadet. You've done your job. What do you recommend we do next?" continued Commander Brelev.
"I'd like to bring the Vulcan back to consciousness. We haven't go the intruments to do a decent job of that here, once we get back to the ship beam him directly to sickbay and we'll take care of him there. I'm certain he has information we need." The cadet had made his analysis. Commander Brelev gave him a pat on the back for his efforts, and she made the call to send Henchard and his patient to sickbay.

Daya had been listening to the news about the Sutherland, Admiral McCormick was supposed to be onboard. He smiled momentarily as he remember years ago training with her before she was an admiral. "Lets get to work cadet" He said turning to Taylor.
"See if we can get a lock on anyone board the ship" Daya said as they started in on the console together. <tag Taylor> "Thats too bad, can you determine how many are on board?" <tag Taylor>

Location: Holodeck "Report Commander!""We need to deactivate her implants," S'reena suggested, "it will be dangerous to the cadet, but right now she is a security risk." ..... I have to get back to the bridge." Brelev growled as S'reena left, the Firt Officer's attitude was very.... Romulan, but that did not excuse it in Brelev's mind. She looked down at the Cadet in her arms, what was going on? She arranged to have a direct transport to Sickbay and appeared moments later by the main biobed, still clutching cadet Isis. She looked around, her cadet was working diligently on the vulcan survivor. =A=Computer, activate the EMH=A= "Please state the nature of the medical emergancy" The EMH recited as he appeared, he looked down at Cadet Isis "Oh" "S'reena did not give me a decent report when she turned the cadet over, what do you know about these implants?" Brelev asked, gesturing for the EMH to elp her lift the Cadet onto a biobed. "They are Romulan, she was once captured by them and at that time they where inserted. It appears that our proximaty to the Romulan vessel has caused them to activate. As for what they do, they appear to have some sort of mind control technology." The EMH reported. Brelev nodded, she did not like the idea of extracting the implants, but she certainly did not want them to remain. She programmed a hypospray to administer a medium strength neurosupressent and pressed it against Cadet Isis' neck "Wake her up, but keep an eye on her" Henchard was shaping up to be a very sought after Doctor. On the shuttle, Without direction he had found the toxic compound and remved it, Brelev was very impressed. "How's it going? I'd help but for two reasons. One, you have everything under control and Two..." Brelev was going to tell him about Cadet Isis when the doors to sickbay opened. Jason Reynolds and Cadet Max Richards enterd, The cadet was looking very pale. "What's going on?" Brelev asked whiping out a tricorder, she had recieved a Comm from Jason earlier, but in the flurry with cadet Isis she had almost forgotten. The readings where excatly as thoughs she had seen back at the Academy when they learned about the maturation of humanoid species. She had only glanced over the cadet's records when they came aboard, so her theory needed to be proven. "Cadet, tell me about your parents?" she asked, and he did. "What timing that this should happen now. I'm going to give you a mild Neurosupressent to eleviate the fainting, and see if I can contact a fully matured Betazoid crewmember to talk with you." Brelev pressed the hypospray against Cadet Richard's neck. The doors opened and S'reena enterd, wanting to kow if the cadets where ready for duty. Commander Hope would work even if she had just lost a leg, sometimes it seemed as if she expected it from others as well, but Brelev could not argue, both cadets where fit for minor duty work. She told S'reena this, but added that "Both cadets should be supervised, for their safety, I'll also be checking on them periodically." <Tag S'reena, Max and Isis> After the cadets had left Brelev checked her crew records to find a suitable Betazoid to meet with Max Richards, there was a betazoid in the Senior staff. The new science officer Kalen. Come to think of it, she had not seen him in some time.

Max could not believe it, had been born with the telepathic ability, his father never was mentioned it.
"What timing that this should happen now. I'm going to give you a mild Neurosupressent to eleviate the fainting, and see if I can contact a fully matured Betazoid crewmember to talk with you." the doctor pressed a hypospray against Max's neck.
"Both cadets should be supervised, for their safety, I'll also be checking on them periodically." speaking towards Max and Isis, a Cadet who knew in his first day in the academy.
"Thank you doctor" Max said.
"Well doctor, we'll be on our way, I'm sure we are needed on the bridge" Reynolds said.
Max greeted the doctor and they went to turbolift. There was no time to think, had things that to do.
When entering bridge, both were surprised when seeing the Admiral in their position.
"Welcome aboard Admiral!" Reynolds said.
"Thanks Commander." said. And now speaking towards the cadet, "Cadet, you are able for your duties?"
"Yes sir"
"So, you would put into operation the sensors?" Drew ask.
"Yes, I guess"
"Fine, one starship is lost, we needed those sensors. The Commander will help you." said that, the admiral retired towards his position.
"We have work Mr. Richards" the Commander said.
Max agreed, and he went towards his position.
