As Daya lay on a make shift strecher, given proper medication from the medkit, he could finally think somewhat straight. "Report cadets" he called out, still holding his arm.
<tag Arika, Fraugg, and Runningwolf>
"Lets get out of here" Daya said, looking out of a small window, "now cadet." A antiaircraft vehicle had positioned itself on a hill, probably determined to shoot the team down. "Punch it cadet" Daya said, a little more insistent. "Cadet, arm torpedoes and phasers, i want you to take out whatever they shoot at us."
<tag Runningwolf, Arika>
"Fraugg, keep Hope's body from moving, this is be a bit bumpy."
"Lt.!" Daya heard one of the cadets call, he turned to see the AA vehicle firing its weapons, "Cadet, phasers, fire!" he said, watching the ship's phasers shot into the AA fire, "Nothing sir."
"Torpedoes, fire" they watched again as the torpedoes launched from the shuttle, a small explosion from the collision,"brace for impact" Daya said as shockwaves rocked the shuttle.
"Nice shooting, now lets go home"

As Daya lay on a make shift strecher, given proper medication from the medkit, he could finally think somewhat straight. "Report cadets" he called out, still holding his arm.
Ian looked at Daya and said, "Cadet Ian, still here."
Wolf: Looked over at the pilot seat and cadet Arika straping in he started to think they were very lucky to have the helm officer with them. This was somebody trained how to fly they might beable to get out of this yet. " Arika so far I"m only hearing small arms fire but that doesn't mean they dont have anything bigger so any time you would like to leave. Oh and please for go the sight seeing trip on the way out" wolf let out a little chuckle. Wolf moved over to tactical and straped himself in and brought the weapons system on line.
Ian looks back at Wolf and laughed at his sight seeing joke. "Any time? I was thinking of setting up a small cottage..." He had joked before saying, "Alright, let's get out of here."
" Arika I"m deceting vechile movent 300 meters to the west what ever it is its big and I dont want to find out if its here to say goodbye"
"Neither do I, we're out of here." He started to fly the shuttle back to the Hanson.
Ian had begun to take evasive action to keep the ship from taking a hit, but it still took a graze to the underside, mostly shield damage. "Still flying?" he asked himself. He looked out the front window and saw the shuttle was still on course. "Looks like it." As the Hanson came into view, which Ian had slightly dreaded because of his fear of Intrepid class ships, a small explosion was heard on the underside of the shuttle and a few panels turned off along with the left engine. "Auto-navigation and the number two engine are down..." Suddenly a smirk came over his face, "Think I can land it in the Hanson with only one engine active? Or should we beam off?"

"It looks like it is working Captain, the nebula appears to be taking the bait." Brelev reported from where she was peaking over Cadet Jolim's shoulder at the science consul. "It has reached contact... and the probe has been redirected. It seems to be heading in the direction of the sun. As long as it is not headed to the planet I'd like to get it back and retrieve any information it gathered. Can you get it with the tractor beam?"
The crew member working the opps took a moment to check. "Negative Commander, the scanners simply won't respond."
"Of course not. I wonder if that residue is related to this whole situation or simply an unhappy coincidence?" Brelev wondered aloud. "I had my people in the lab keep open the line between us and the probe in case it managed to send us anything. Cadet, would you come with me I'd like to take a look at the results from the acid tests as well and I would appreciate your thoughts."
Cadet Jolim handed off the Science consul to a waiting Ensign and they headed to the turbo lift. "I suspect that once the rescue team returns with Commander Hope's team we will want to find our way back as soon as possible. That is not going to be possible with that stuff on the hull, so our priority should be getting rid of it. I doubt the nebula will attack anything coming out of the planet, so they should be safe."
The turbolift stopped and the two women stepped out. Deck 5 was relativly quite, and heading to the labs they only encounterd one Crewmember, He was fixing a panel and seemed to be having a little trouble holding it all together. When his tool kit fell, he let out a very loud sigh and bent down to collect his things.
"Here, let me help." Brelev insisted, reaching for a complex bit of engineering that had rolled in her direction. Picking it up she looked it over, her intuitive eyes fascinated. 'I've never seen this before, what does it do?" She looked up and recognized the Pound man a a crew member she had treated for a minor cold just the day prior. His nose still looked red and his eyes still watered.
He hesitated. 'I'll show you." he reached over and turned a small knob. It felt as though two daggers had been plunged into Brelev's temporal lobes, one in either ear. She collapsed in agony, but the feeling did not pass, beside her she felt cadet Jolim do the same. "Small noses, but sensitive ears." she thought she heard the young man comment as her vision blurred and faded into darkness.

After getting the go ahead from the Admiral, Matti led the group out of sick bay and went to the turbo lift.
"Deck two." Matti said.
When they got off the turbo lift, Matti got a fealing of dread and anxiety. He had a strong pull to Veranda. As he looked down at her Matti noticed that she had a look of despair on her face.
"There he is. The one who was chasing me." Veranda said as she pointed at a man who was dressed in an engineer uniform sitting at a table in the canteen.
"Are you sure? Are you positive that is the person who chased you onto this ship?" Matti asked.
She nodded her head vigorously while she hid behind his legs holding on tightly.

Wolf: Rememberd just how fast combat could be and how lucky they were. If it hadn't been Arika they might have gone down but Thanks to him and his piloting skill they had made it out. Now it was time to lland there damaged shuttle.
Wolf: Looked back and Lt Daya " Sir we should be the commander to sick bay now it would be safer then trying to move her anymore then she already has. Also I think you should be beam over as well sir I'm sure the Admiral is going to want to talk to you as soon as possible not to mention you should be in sick bay yourself. <Tag Daya>
Wolf: Turned around to look at Cadet Arika " Well do you want me to get out and push or do you want to land this thing" Wolf chuckled alittle but he was happy that he was'nt the one having to land the shuttle although he was checked out on it he found it was best to let the real pilots do there job they were a hell of alot better doing then he was. " Any time your ready Arika try not to scratch the paint " Wolf had already decided that he like Arika they share the same sense of humor. <Tag Arika>

"Good point cadet, Fraugg, if you wanna stay here thats ok, but we are leaving."
<tag Cadet Fraugg>
=^=Daya to Hanson, beam us up, one emergency beam to sickbay=^= the sight of the shuttle mingled in and out as the familar sense of tingles went up his spine, he opened his eyes and saw the transportor room, and smiled as he stepped down, happy to be on safe grounds once again.
Daya stepped out and walked down a hallway, heading towards sickbay, he stopped short and saw commander brelev, and a cadet laying on the ground. =^=Daya to sickbay, Medical emergency, Deck 5=^= he said tapping his comm badge.
He went with the commander down to sickbay, seeing commander hope laying on a biobed, he sat himself down. one of the nurse came over to him, checking him to make sure nothing else was wrong.

Methos was listening to Max explain what the box was, when Cadet Kane called him to the canteen. He excused himself from the CEO and made his way to the canteen.
When he got there, a security team was just arriving, Methos told them to wait outside for a moment. He walked in and saw that Matti was sitting at one of the tables with the human girl, Veranda was her name. Methos motioned for Matti to come over. Matti bent over and said something to the girl, before coming over.
"What seems to be the problem, Cadet?"
Matti explained what the girl had told him. "OK, cadet go back over to the girl and act like nothing happened," Methos instructed him. Matti nodded and went back to the table.
Methos made like he was going to leave, but he stopped just outside the doors and asked one of the security detail for his tricorder. He quickly scanned the occupants of the canteen. He found that the person Matti had pointed out was the only bio-sign he didn't recognize.
Methos went in and walked up to the crewman.
"Crewman, Commander Smith told me where I could find you. As you probably know, I am conducting an investigation as to why we ended up where we are. I had ordered Engineering locked down. I was wondering why you are not at your post?" He asked.
"Yes, sir. I wasn't at my post because my shift is not for another couple of hours," the crewman responded.
"Where you in engineering at anytime before we departed the Station?" Methos asked.
"I was in engineering this morning, sir," was all that he said.
"I am going to have to ask you to come with me, so I can get your statement. For my report and all," Methos said. The crewman nodded and got up with Methos. Together they walked outside of the canteen. Once they got to the doors and the doors opened, the crewman noticed the security detail and looked nervously at Methos.
"Don't worry, they are just here to help me bring anyone in who doesn't want to come peacefully. You don't want to be one of them, do you?" Methos asked. The crewman shook his head. They then headed down to the security offices. Methos leads the crewman into one of the interrogation rooms and told one of the security officers to keep an eye on him.
He tapped his commbadge.
=/\=Admiral Drew and Cadet Kane, the crewman who the little girl was scarred of is in one of the interrogation rooms. How do you want me to proceed sir?=/\=

Daya had answered his question. "Thats your choice cadet, your flying, not me"
He looked back at Daya and said, "Alright, I've been practicing this in simulations, so I think it won't be too hard."
He looked back at Wolf, "Go ahead and push the shuttle if you want." He started to turn the shuttle with the side with the dead engine towards the Hanson's docking bay. He looked back as Daya and S'Reena were beamed off of the damaged shuttle. He looked at Fraugg and Wolf and said, "You two think I can pull this one in? Because you still have time to beam off if you don't think I can."
<Tag Fraugg and Wolf>
He listened for their responses. He began to move the shuttle sideways into the Hanson's shuttle bay.

Drew hadn’t yet had chance to leave sickbay, when the emergency call came in from Daya saying something about Commander Brelev and Cadet Jolim being unconscious in a corridor. Dr. Hope was already busy treating S’reena, who had just been transported directly to sickbay, deciding it was best to let the Doctor get to work, Drew reached for the medical transport controls himself, locking onto Brelev, Jolim, and Daya, and beaming all three directly to sickbay.
Mere seconds later, all the biobeds in sickbay were full, with only one of the patients being able to sit up; the other three were all out cold. A Nurse immediately rushed over to Daya with a medical tricoder in her hand, and began scanning him urgently, checking the bio scan above the Lieutenant’s bed, Drew decided he was well enough to be questioned.
“What happened to them Lieutenant?”
Daya explained how he found Brelev and Jolim, but that he had no idea what had happened to them, there had been nothing seen of a struggle, or of any equipment malfunction.
“When you are ready, go over the sensor logs for that area,” Drew said, looking over at Brelev who was lying peacefully on the biobed, “we need to know if someone attacked them.”
“Aye sir,” Daya replied, determination in his voice.
Drew gave him an encouraging smile, and then left sickbay, heading down to the shuttle bay. Walking in through the large doors, he was pleased to be able to watch the shuttle expertly land, considering it was now only Cadets board that was very impressive.
A few seconds later, Cadets Runningwolf, Arika, and Fraugg stepped out of the shuttle, all three looked exhausted, but in good humour.
“Welcome back,” Drew said, walking over to greet the trio, “are you all alright?”
Pleased to hear that they were fine, Drew proceeded to give them their new instructions.
“I am afraid Cadet Fraugg, that Commander Brelev and Cadet Jolim have been injured as a result of an as yet unknown encounter, before she lost consciousness, Commander Brelev was working on a way to free the Hanson of an acid that has attached itself to the hull. I would like you to please continue her research, Commander Reynolds should be able to help you.”
“Aye sir,” Fraugg replied.
“Mr. Arika, that was some excellent flying on your part, I would like you to report back to the bridge, and brief Lt. Shinsei and Cadet Tagert on the types of craft that were used against you, as well as anything you may have learned that you feel might help us in protecting the Hanson in this region.” “Cadet Runningwolf, I would like you to take station at Tactical, the attacks on the away team, and the shuttles have un-nerved me. Lt. Daya is currently in sickbay, and I need someone to ensure the safety of the ship.”
The three Cadets all nodded at their instructions, and departed the shuttlebay, making their way back to the bridge. Drew was about to follow them when his comm badge chirped, with the incoming call from first Kane and then Methos about this unusual male.
“Keep him detained Mr. Methos,” Drew said into his comm badge, “Cadet Kane, take the young girl to Counsellor Sorrow, and meet me and the Marine Captain in the brig, we will start to question the prisoner.”
OOC:
We seem to have a few Instructors now going out onto LOA, Commander Reynolds please could you take command of the bridge while Drew is with the prisoner. If you and Lt. Shinsei can help the Cadets there, it would be a huge help. Commander Smith, it might also be helpful if your character also came to the bridge, and offered assistance.
With Marine Captain Methos going on LOA soon, I’ll help Cadet Kane with the questioning of the prisoner.
To the Cadets, I have tried to give you all something to post, I like the friendship that has been developing between Fraugg, Runningwolf and Arika, try to see how you can develop that. Cadet Kane, you will get your chance to sim with the others, but for now you will just have to put up with me lol.

Wolf: Was not shocked at all that Arika landed the shuttle with no problems it proved he was as good as they get for pilots. Before they exicted he looked over at Arika" shucks I though we were going on a rollercoaster ride. There wasn't one bump I think me and Fraugg should get our money back" Wolf looked back at cadet Fraugg to see if she was smiling.
Wolf and the team exicted the shuttle and saw the admiral wolf came to attention until the admiral put him at rest and listened to what the admiral wanted them to do.
“Cadet Runningwolf, I would like you to take station at Tactical, the attacks on the away team, and the shuttles have un-nerved me. Lt. Daya is currently in sickbay, and I need someone to ensure the safety of the ship.” Wolf:" Yes sir I'll report to the bridge right away, Sir there's still one thing that bugges me when my team went down there to help nobody tryed to bargin with us they just wanted to kill us. If they brought us her wouldn't they want somthing from us. I mean killing somebody is never a good thing but they have planets closer to them if thats what they wanted why try to snatch a starship?" Crystal hears the turbo lift doors open, indicating that someone is on the bridge. She looks up to see who it is, and is pleasantly surprised to see Cadet Tagert returning. She knew that the shuttle had docked, but the officers still seemed to have made it back up to the bridge rather quickly. “Welcome back,” she greets Tagert, smiling. “Care to take over the steering of this fine ship?” she asked, then gives him the controls.
“So, what are they doing?” Crystal asks, hoping to hear the plan, since she isn't quite sure why a probe is being launched. She can tell that there is a plan, but she is curious to know what the science team hopes to learn from this, and she hopes that Tagert could fill her in.≪Tag Tagert> Tom headed to the controls and started watching the program for the nebula and noticed that the nebula wasn't even in the same place as before, thinking OK that's no good and turned the display off. The Lt. asked him if he knew what was going on, so he explained as his fingers kept on crossing the console making minor adjustments, "Well there going to try and bait that big jelly fish nebula, and get him to give us some space. But the only thing is the bait is a probe and I'm not sure a probe can keep that thing away."the computer made a funny whirring sound and tom noticed a flashing topic in the area where he had just shut down the science input display [glow=red,2,300] sevenofnine.cherrytaco.com/Star_Trek_Images/Maps_and_Charts/Galaxy%20Map_Wheel.gif[/glow] "Jolim did you send this to me it says we're near the 800 lat and the 100 long parallels of this map but it kinda looks funny, that would be very near Cytheria. If it's correct we are at least 7,500 parsects 20,000 light years away from home, and that means we are only 10 years away at warp 9.6 close to 50 years at warp 6. ,and the good news we can get home in 36 days at warp 9.9999. if the map is corect. Jason was tempted to go see how his fellow crewmates where doing down in sickbay, but his obligations to the rest of the ship kept him on the bridge. He was glad to hear that none of them were fatally injuried and he was also very proud of the cadets. Who saved their instructors lives.
"Lt. download all the shuttle's information to our computer, we need to find out who did this," Jason said as he got back to his station.

"Commander Reynolds, I will be in the brig with the prisoner," Admiral Drew reported," your in charge. I have also sent Cadets Fraugg, Runningwolf, and Arika up to the bridge. They should be able to help you."
"Understood, Reynolds out," Jason said cutting the link. He knew that he would be able to figure out what the cadets had been through, but with there help it could be done a lot faster.
After a few minutes of studying the logs, the doors opened and ushered in the three cadets, which looked painfully tired.
"Good job, cadets," Jason said smiling at the three," now please take your stations and figure out what happened."

He looks back at him and says, "The paint should be fine, I'm worried about the one of the engines either restarting or dying. Because if the right engine dies, we're stuck in here. If the left restarts, then we might crash into the side of the Hanson." He continued to move the shuttle sideways into the shuttle bay. The shuttle had landed without incident, apart from the left engine having died and the auto-navigation dying.
Wolf: Was not shocked at all that Arika landed the shuttle with no problems it proved he was as good as they get for pilots. =^=Aye sir, on my way=^= Matti replied to the Admirals instructions.
"I don't think he knows you're with me." Matti said to the counciler who was sitting across the table from him.

Matti turns toward Veranda and said,"Will you be ok here with her for awile? I have to go and ask that mean man a few questions. Be good while I'm gone ok."
"NO! I dont want you to go. Don't leave me." Veranda cried as Matti started to get up to leave. She grabbed onto his leg and wouldn't let go.
"Ok, ok. I'll tell you what. I'll take you to my quarters and you can stay there until I get done. It is safe there and no one will harm you there. You must be exhausted from all that has happened to you. I will put you to bed and you can sleep until I return. How is that?" Matti said asking the last question to both Veranda and Caring.
tag caring
Veranda tried to hide a yawn as she said,"I'm not sleepy at all."
She went along slugishly as Matti ushered her towards the door.
=^=Kane to Drew. I may be a few minutes. I'm having a minor problem that will be delt with as soon as possable. I will be there as soon as I can.=^=
After carrying her most of the way, Matti finally put her in his bed and tucked her in for a much needed rest. Double checking the room before he left Matti felt a fealing of content and trust coming from the little girl laying in his bed.
After hurrying to the brig Matti had a very strange fealing he was being followed. He slowed down and turned a corner and waited. As the fealing got closer he prepared himself to confront who was following him. As a small body turned the corner, Matti instantly realized it was Veranda.
"What are you doing here? You are supposed to be in bed where I left you. How did you find me anyway?" Matti asked with a hint of anger in his voice.
"It was to empty in there. I couldn't sleep after you left. I don't know how I found you. I just thought of you and felt a tug pulling me this way, so I followed it. It worked didn't it." Veranda said with a hurt look in her eyes.
"I guess since you're here you might as well come along. There's no use in taking you back now. Come along but be quiet unless someone talks to you." Matti said trying to sound commandfull.
As they walked into the brig Matti said instantly to the Admiral, "Sorry sir, she followed me."
Pointing to a chair in the room, Matti said to Veranda, "Sit here and wait for me to return. Be good and stay out of the way until we can get some answers. Please be good."

Crystal leans over Tagert to see the map he is studying. She looks to glance at the science cadet as if to see if the girl is laughing at the joke this must have been meant as, but sees no one at the science counsel. “We can't be 20,000 light years away,” Crystal remarks. “It would have taken us much longer to get here if that was true.” Crystal frowns, glancing back up at the empty science counsel. “Here, can I see the station for a second?” Crystal asks.
“Thanks.” Crystal does a quick scan of the surroundings, to see that they support what Tagert has just said, which doesn't make any sense. She can't tell where the map came from either, since it seems to have come from the science counsel, but there is no one there at the moment.
“Commander Reynolds,” Crystal says, since he is the officer in the charge of the bridge. “My cadet just received a highly incorrect map. I don't know if this is some kind of joke or the result of a rather stupid saboteur who thought we wouldn't notice, but the sensors seem to be matching this map. Which says we are 36 days away from Conqueror at our highest warp.”
<Tag Jason>
Crystal nods, and notices Cadet Arika returning to the bridge. “Welcome back,” she greets him. “Nice flying out there.”
<Tag Arika>
“I think you should fly the Hanson now, if you're not too tired,” Crystal says, since while Tagert has experience with both the large ship and a shuttle, Arika just piloted a shuttle, all-be-it rather well. Crystal is impressed with both of her cadet's piloting skills, and feels fortunate to have such skilled cadets. She is sure that all cadets are well-trained, but it feels different when she has to trust the ship to them.
“Oh, and the navigational sensors aren't quite working,” Crystal tells him. “There is some evidence they've been tampered with, so I wouldn't trust them completely. In essence, you'll be flying blind.” Crystal smiles slightly, then adds. “Should be fun.”
<Tag Arika>
She turns to Tagert, realizing that he, like her, has nothing to do at the moment besides watch. Which is all well and good, but Crystal sees a greater opportunity to integrate his classroom knowledge with what he knew now. “Where do you think we actually are?” she asks, hoping he can look at the stars-those that aren't blocked by the nebula and tell. “I don't see any way we could be where the map says we are, since that would mean we would have to go through a wormhole. And that didn't feel like a wormhole,” Crystal says, not quite adding that she went through one, but leaving it strongly implied.

Max's commbade buzzed, alerting him that his ship was back. He would check it out later. Right now he had to take this thing out.
it was a delicate job. As he had explained to Menthos, the box routed engine controls to fluctuate power to the engines in a random sequnece. The ship woudl bascially spirla out of control. And it had combined welll with their new engines to land them well away from fedaration territory.
we'd probably be logged as missing cause unknown. Max reflected. Doesn't matter too much, I've had that status before.
"Ensign, could you get me a delicate work toolkit?" He caled to a passing Ensign.
"I was just taking one back to the locker. here you go." She reached it up to him.
"Thank you. Carry on." Max smiled. This crew was good and friendly. he would like it here. Focusing on the task an hand, the brought out sevral fine maniopulatos. A wire here, move that board out, separate this contact, random phase array offline....
the activity below him wound down as the engineers ran out of things to do and test and recalibrate. soon, it was just routine.
Except for the box. it was the only thing still left. max set down the manipulator and took out a laser scalpel.very carfully, he cut the connections to the ship. He eased the box off the wall and leaned against the repair platform railing.
"Smith to Bridge, The device is removed. At least the main one is. I don't know if there are more yet." <bridge>

Brelev awoke to see the Hanson's head nurse staring down at her, tricorder in hand, brow furrowed. Her mouth moved, but Brelev heard nothing. In a moment Doctor Michael Hope's concerned face also appeared. He also moved his mouth as though speaking, again Brelev heard nothing. She tried to sit up, but the Nurse gently forced her back down. They where both speaking now, and gesturing off the the side. Brelev looked over and saw Cadet Jolim on a biobed, she looked pale and a veriaty of medical instruments lay on a tray beside her. On a moniter next to the cadet the anatomy of the human ear, one section, the cochlea, was displayed in great depth off the to side. In comparison another deep scan displayed a cochlea in horrible shape. Brelev had seen this back at the Academy, such damage was caused by extrodinary stress to the humanoid ear, and although repairable was extremly touchy surgery that if all possible was to be avoided for fear of causing more damage.
She rememberd helping a crewmember in the corridor on the way to the lab, he had a funny looking device and Brelev had asked him about it. Her memory after that was shacky, but she rememberd a great deal of pain.
She felt someone shake her shoulder, and instinctivly shudderd. She did not like being touched, especially in her given state. Looking over she saw Doctor Hope. His mouth moved slowly, carefully. Brelev frowned and shook her head and tried to speak, it felt so strange, speaking but not hearing herself. Certain they would not understand a word she was saying she gestured to a PaDD. Michael handed it to her.
I cannot hear you, that damage on the screen, did that happen to me? What is wrong with Jolim, why can she not be waken up? she typed. and handed the PaDD to Michael
He took it and read, then typed and handed it back to her Yes, although the damage to you cochlea is much less substancial, it seems that Denobulans are much heartier that way then Bajorans. You should regain your hearing soon, we are researching ways to speed up that process and help Jolim. Commander Daya found you both in a corridor near the main Laboratory, there where engineering tools on the ground. Do you remember what happened?
Brelev took the PaDD back. Kind of, a young engineer was having some trouble, I offerd to help. He something I did not recougnise. I asked him about it. He did something with it and then I am here. I think I might be able to recougnise him, I saw him before, he was in for a cold.
She handed Michael the PaDD, he took it, read and then turned to the nurse and spoke. She nodded and left the room. Michael wrote on the PaDD and handed it back. They believe they may have found the Sabateur and are holding him in the Brig. Nurse Mitchel will escourt you there, I am sure they would like to have him identified.
Brelev nodded and allowed the Nurse to help her up. She felt dizzy suddenly, and almost lost her balance. In a moment the Nurse produced a weelchair they had back in storage and helped Brelev sit down. She felt foolish, but as a doctor understood it was necessary. Nurse Mitchel pushed her down the hall, they where greeted with confused and concerned stares.

Drew tried to hide his displeasure when he saw that the young child had accompanied Cadet Kane to the brig. As a rule, the Admiral disliked children being so closely involved in ship operations, although with a First Officer like S’reena Hope, he was getting used to it.
“As long as she can be quiet,” Drew said, as the little girl went to sit in the corner.
“She will be sir,” Kane replied, and then looking towards the prisoner, he asked, “Has he said anything?”
Drew shook his head, since they had captured the prisoner, he hadn’t said two words, and his bio scans matched nothing in the database, so this was almost certainly a first contact situation. The disturbing thing was it appeared it was a first contact where the other species was already fully aware of them, and had detailed information relating to the ship.
Just then the brig doors opened again, this time to admit a hover chair riding Brelev, the Commander looked very tired, but also very determined. From the brief communication Drew had had with Dr. Hope, he knew that was she currently experiencing speech, and hearing problems.
He took the offered padd from the Nurse, and typed in a message for the Commander:
Glad to see you back with us, is this the man who attacked you and Cadet Jolim?
Brelev replied with just one word typed on her padd:
Yes
Drew thanked the Commander, and then tapped his comm badge.
“Drew to Counsellor Sorrow, please report to the brig.”
A few minutes later, the Counsellor came through the large doors, and approached Drew.
“You wanted me sir?” she asked.
“Yes,” Drew replied, “I want you to assist Cadet Kane in the questioning of the prisoner, so far he has been uncooperative, your own empathic abilities might be of use here.”
Sorrow nodded in agreement, and walked towards Cadet Kane to start planning their line of inquiry, Drew meanwhile typed another message to Brelev on his padd.
Do you feel up to coming back to the bridge?
Pleased that she did, Drew allowed the Nurse to led the way back to the turbolift.
When Drew walked out onto the bridge, he was surprised to see a large metal structure on the screen, it was easily the size of Starbase Conqueror itself. There were a number of smaller objects, Drew presumed ships, that were orbiting the what was obviously a spaceport of some kind.
“What is that?” Drew asked, walking down to the command level.
“It just appeared on sensors Admiral,” Runningwolf reported.
“Affirmative,” Reynolds replied, “once the nebula had been cleared completely, it suddenly appeared.”
“Have we made contact yet?” Drew asked, sitting in his chair, to his left, Commander Reynolds hovered near the First Officer chair next to him, representing her place as Acting FO.
“Not yet Admiral,” Reynolds replied.
“Then hail them,” Drew answered.
“Channel open.”
“This is Rear Admiral Paul Drew; commanding the Federation Starship USS Hanson, please identify yourself.”
“USS Hanson!” a large pleasant voice boomed back over the comm channel, “we welcome you to Outpost Onyx.”
“Excuse me,” Drew replied, keeping his voice calm, “but what is Outpost Onyx?”
“Ah Admiral, to answer that you must visit us,” the as of yet unidentified voice said, still in pleasant tones.
Drew and Brelev exchanged looks, before Drew asked.
“Who are you?”
“My apologises,” the voice replied, “I am Adrin, Administrator of Onyx, I believe we may be able to answer some of your many questions, but first you must visit us.”
Drew thought for a few seconds, and then made his decision.
“Very well Administrator, we will visit.”
“Excellent, excellent,” Adrin replied, “one of my assistants shall contact you with docking information.”
With that, the channel closed, before any of the officers could object, Drew started to give orders.
“Helm, once we get the information, start docking procedures, be sure to respect their rules and regulations, thrusters only, unless they say otherwise.”
“Cadet Runningwolf, arrange for Marines and Security Officers to be posted at all sensitive areas, including the brig.”
“Cadet Fraugg, see if you can find out why we only just spotted this thing.”
Looking at Brelev, Drew could tell the Acting FO had a lot of questions, but all Drew did to answer was to type a few simple words into the padd.
Shore leave
OFF:
OK, in an effort to allow all our Cadets to have some good old fashion fun, I want everyone to take the chance to explore this Outpost. I plan for it to be a friendly please, with lots of various aliens we haven’t encountered before, maybe some we have. My basic idea is that there is a conflict of sorts going on between the aliens on the planet, and the aliens on the Outpost, something we will find out in due course, and hopefully will be able to help them resolve. For now though, everyone have some fun, show me what you can do.

Wolf: Stood at his station on the bridge tactical was not his normal station but he was more then qualifyed to man the station. He watched as Cadet Arika took the helm when the Admiral called up and instructed them to dock with the alien station. Wolf couldn't help himself with a little chuckle "Arika try not to scratch the paint okay, hey at least nobody is shooting at us this time" <Tag Arika>
Wolf: then got a message from the admiral “Cadet Runningwolf, arrange for Marines and Security Officers to be posted at all sensitive areas, including the brig.” " Yes sir right away " Wolf didn't like it one bit but he had his orders. Wolf contacted the necessary personal to take postion around the ship. Wolf then contacted Captain Methos to let him know what was going on and to inform him that he had assigned a Marine to be the admiral body guard but instructed the marine to stay close but not close enought for the admiral to pick up on right away. In wolf mind the saftey of the ship and its commanding officer were his first priority.

After the admiral left, Matti asked the counsilor, "Can your abilities be used from this side of the room? I would like to talk with our guest quietly while you get a feel for him."
Walking toward the prisoner Matti put a face of determination on.
When he got next to the prisoner Matti leaned down and whispered in his ear. Almost instantly a look of mortification came accross the prisoner's face.
"Now are you ready to answer some questions? Or do I have to fullfill my promise?" Matti said aloud.
The prisoner vigorously nodded his head.
"What is your name?" Matti asked.
"Tisue Scotch." the prisoner answered.
"What is your race?" Matti asked.
"Klenix. As if you didn't know." Tisue answered with a hint of anger, fear and sarcasm in his voice.
"Why are you here on this ship?" Matti asked.
Tisue answered, "My mission was to bring a ship here to our home world by any means I could."
Matti asked, "Why bring a ship here?"
"My world is in a state of civil war. One faction, the High Solar, wants to spread out and invite other races to our world and 'become friends'. My faction, the Presort Standard, wants to keep our world for ourselves and live in peace alone. If we brought a ship here in a state of aggressivness toward us, the High Solar would have to admit that it would not be a good idea to open our world borders to other races." Tisue replied.
"So you sabotaged us to bring us here to help unify your world to fight against us so your faction can gain the edge and keep your race secluded from the outside peoples?" Matti asked.
"Yes." Tisue answered.
"How did the box bring us here?" Matti asked.
"I don't know. Our scientists made it and I was just to hook it up and stay out of suspictions of your people." Tisue answered.
"What did you do to the two who caught you in the coridor?" Matti asked.
"That was a device known as the Ridgeriver. It is used to make a high peircing noise to knock out anyone near the person holding it. It is used only as a self deffence device. They are in no danger and will recover shortly." answered Tisue.
"Why were you chasing the little human girl?" Matti asked about Veranda.
"She is the only being that new where our homeworld was until now. We could not let her get away." Tisue answered.
"How is it that you are imune to the 'human sickness'?" Matti asked.
"Some of us have been surgicaly and genetically altered to be immune to the desease. Most of the High Solar have had one or both done. Only those of us in the Presort Standard that need to be close to your kind have had it done out of nessesity." Tisue answered.
"What are the names of the faction leaders?" Matti asked.
"The leader of the High Solar is Adrin Porew. He claims to be the administrator of the only Star Base our planet has. He conrols most of the activity there. That is his base of a sorts. My leader is the glorious Corp Mpamp. We are now at the great city of Toodut, the capital of the eastern empire." Tisue answered with an attitude of suppiority.
After getting this last answer, Matti decided that was enough for this session. He walked over to the counsilor and asked, "Did he seem to believe everything he told us? I got a feeling that everything he said was as he belived it was."
tag caring
"We should let the admiral know what was found out." Matti said.
=^=Cadet Kane to Admiral Drew. The planet has a Ster Base around it somewhere. You should know what else we found out. I'm on my way to the bridge to fill you in.=^=

Back in sickbay, S'reena struggled her way back to consciousness. When she opened her eyes, she found herself looking up at several unknown faces, though amongst the blur of faces there was one she'd been longing to see: Michael.
Slowly, she reached up, wincing in agony as she did so, desperate for Michael's touch. Michael leaned down, smiling with relief down on his wife and gently lowered her arm. "You were gravely injured honey," he softly told her, "and you'll still take a while to recover. If you rest a few more hours you'll be well enough to get back to the bridge."
Michael knew better than to try and keep his recalcitrant wife in sickbay when she had no desire to stay there. While she was over her phobia, the Romulan woman still had a dislike towards sickbay which she'd never get over. "A few hours," he repeated, giving her a stern look.
S'reena gave her husband a meek look, but as soon as he turned his back to divert his attention towards the still unconscious and unresponsive science cadet, the Romulan slipped off the bed. Suppressing a cry, she forced herself to walk out of sickbay and it took great strength of will to achieve it. While her bones were all mended, the muscles had taken a fair beating when she'd been tossed about in the shuttle crash, and they would take time to recover.
Quietly and extremely carefully, S'reena slipped out of sickbay, went past her quarters to fetch a clean uniform then headed to the bridge. Upon entry, she nearly collided with Fraugg at the science station. "Report," she told the second science cadet, after discovering the data on the acidic creature attached to the hull.
<Fraugg....kindly describe the creature to S'reena, in detail please. Make up anything you like.>
"I see," S'reena replied, "and how do you intend on continuing? I mean, this creature has to come off, what are your plans?"
<Fraugg.......see PM with suggestions please, but do not literally copy the idea...feel free to be creative on this:)>

Lt. Shinsei: She turns to Tagert, realizing that he, like her, has nothing to do at the moment besides watch. And that didn't feel like a wormhole,” Crystal says, not quite adding that she went through one, but leaving it strongly implied.Tom looks at the view screen, and says, " Well that blue star looks like Ferenginars sun. um but i don't know for sure." <Tag Lt. Shinsei>Then Tom hears the call for shore leave and heads to his quarters to find his tricorder and phaser. (ofcourse a phaser this is an unexplored station, who the hell knows where, I'm taking a phaser. But dont worry I'll take a type 1 and hide it in my boot, and then it's off to the transporter room.)

Wolf: Was alittle schocked when he saw the Commander walk on the bridge she looked like she had better days. "Commander as the admiral ordered I have stationed security at all vital area's I have also assigned a marine to watch the admiral, I know he wont be happy so I'ev instructed the marine to stay out of sight as much as possible. If the admiral goes over to the station I would like to go with him I will stay out of sight, I just dont like they way things are going and with the way the admiral like's to get into the thick of things I would like to make sure he's safe" <Tag S'reena>
Wolf was about to find out if he made the wrong call if he was thinking to much like a marine. He stood at his post waiting to see if he had over stepped himself
