ooc: great post Mr Smith...and good use of NPC....I hope you intend to use her further, cause Im going to tag her ic: S'reena paced around in the briefing room, chastizing herself over the fact that she had allowed a chief medical officer to get kidnapped, and two cadets injured. It had happened under her command of the away team, and she was the responsible officer. She knew that she had probably not heard the end of it yet, as she hadn't talked to her commanding officer yet. Impatiently, she continued pacing as she awaited the arrival of the instructors and their cadets. Personally, she hadn't seen the need to get refreshed. Being in the state she was now kept her en garde, and focused. She didn't feel she earned any relaxation right now, even though she was bone-tired. At last, S'reena sat down in one of the chairs and buried her face in her hands in an attempt to shake the weariness she was experiencing. She didn't know how long she had been sitting like this before the first person entered the briefingroom <resp anyone> Meanwhile in sickbay, Dr Michael Hope walked up to the young nurse that had been taking care of the marine cadet. The nurse was a new arrival, and was replacing Nurse Rachel, who had gone with Dr Black after he transferred. Personally, Michael did miss his old chief, but he had come to know his new chief as a competent doctor as well. "You've done well on him nurse Hopkins," he told her, as he walked up to the young woman, carefully bouncing his baby son Jayvee on his arm. The boy was experiencing a children's ailment, and had been keeping him company in sickbay. "Would you mind holding him for a minute?" he asked quietly, "I've got to attend to his siblings. With my wife busy tracking down our chief, I've got to take care of our kids." He gave her a sheepish grin. "We've got five now. Kahlan who's four, Yarna who's two and then the triplets Jayden, Kyala and Jayvee in that order of birth. Fortunately, with their birth Im no longer the only male in the family, we're evenly balanced now." He winked at the nurse. "You liked that marine, didn't you?" he asked quietly, "good job. They can be edgy people and difficult to tame or thaw. I'll let you see to him more often if he has to come in again. Make sure to check up on him in a few hours, to see if he doesn't strain himself." <Smith as Nurse Hopkins>

Drew looked at Cadet Pride, then looked up at Cadet Farsir, both the young men had very determined looks on there faces. Ordinarily he would never allow Cadets to go off alone on such a mission, but then this was no ordinary situation.
“OK,” Drew finally said, “prepare an shuttle to follow the alien ship, however I want you to maintain a constant comm channel, try to avoid a hostile encounter if you can, and if you get into difficulties I want you to return to Hanson immediately.”
“Aye Admiral,” Pride replied with a grin, “thank you sir.”
“Don’t thank me yet Cadet,” Drew answered, as the two hurried quickly off the bridge, eager to have there first adventure.
<tag Pride and Farsir>
Now there were no Cadets left on the bridge, the majority had only just returned to the Hanson, and were either in sickbay, or on the way back to the bridge. The Instructors should all be making there way to the conference room.
“Lieutenant,” Drew called over to the watch officer, “the bridge is yours.”
Logging off from his station, Drew stood, and straightening his uniform, headed for the conference room. Just as he was about to exit the bridge, he saw Cadet Nurem enter from the other turbolift, she looked uncertainly around the bridge.
“Cadet, start scanning the planet for signs of the Doctor,” Drew ordered, as he carried on his way to the conference room.
<tag Nurem>
He was surprised when he arrived to find that so far only S’reena was present, and she looked very washed out.
“Commander?” Drew asked as he approached. From the shock reaction on the Romulan’s face she had clearly not heard Drew enter the room.
“Admiral!” she exclaimed raising from her chair, “I can’t believe I let that happen down there, I should have done more to protect the away team…”
“Yes you should,” Drew replied, cutting her off, “but sometimes you can’t control everything Commander, our priority now is finding and rescuing Dr. Paris, we can assign blame after that.”
“Aye Admiral,” S’reena answered, sitting back in her chair, but still looking very guilty.
Just as Drew was about to ask where everyone was else, the rest of the Instructors started to pour into the room.
“Now we are all here,” Drew said, starting the meeting off, “Can someone please explain to me what happened down there?”

Tinyl beamed back up to the Hanson with Lt. Daya, Cmdr. Brelev, and Cmdr. Hope. As they stepped from the transporter pad Cmdr. Hope spoke up.
"Get freshed up, we'll be meeting in conference room two in fifteen minutes for debriefing, and to compare notes. We need to devise a plan to rescue Doctor Paris. Daya." She glanced directly at the CTSO. "You and Nurem go past sickbay and see if Smith's ready for action again. I'm certain he won't want to be left behind, not when his pride's at stake."
Tinyl nodded "Yes Sir." then followed Cmdr. Daya out of the transporter room and to sickbay. She was glad to see Cadet Smith wasn't hurt to badly and could rejoin them. She walked with him as far as the bridge and stopped as she was ordered to run a scan.
“Cadet, start scanning the planet for signs of the Doctor,” Admiral Drew ordered.
"Yes Sir, right away." she said as she stepped to the console to run the scans.

Krythan came too in his compact quarters with a head acke that could tople a giant, "ug, I feel terrible." He stated plainly to himself as he sat up on his bed. He looked around and made took in check that he still needed to unpack most of his things into the small 'dresser' but that would have to wait. All he could remember from the away mission was scanning the people and then just an aw struck feeling of being stunned... An the fact that Doc Paris had been kidnapped!
He jumped out of bed and made his way out the door, up the turbolift and right to sick bay to see if she was gone, then he would have to wait for further orders and hope to go down in search of her if she was gone.
The sick-bay doors swished open and he walked in to find that his most respected teacher was not there... "She must still be down there.." He said to himself as he walked in, he made a note that the officers would most likly want the other cadet checked out before they went back down, so Krythan picked up an extra tricorder turned it on and began taking his own set of scans, taking almost no notice of the others in the room. He always did have to stay busy while he was worried...

Pride: Looked over at Cadet Farsir and smiled after they had gotten the okay from the Admiral. At first he wasn't sure about taking somebody else but thought better of it. Now I can concentrate on flying the shuttle and make sure they don't see us, Farsir can run the scans and maybe pick something up that will be useful.
Cadet Pride and Cadet Farsir both got up and walked to the turbo lift and headed for the shuttle bay. Neither one spoke they really hadn't had a chance to get to know each other yet.
Pride: Well Farsir looks like we get to have alittle adventure for our selves hopefully we'll have something to talk about when we get back.
Cadet Pride and Farsir arrived in the shuttle bay and boarded there shuttle, Farsir took the co-pilot seat as Cadet Pride took the pilot seat and started the preflight checks.
Cadet Pride to bridge Preflight checks complete permission to launch. The Bridge responded with permission granted and repeated the same thing the admiral and said don't get caught.
Pride looked over at Farsir as the shuttle left the Hanson whats are course heading Farsir or can I call you Jason. Pride figured it might be along mission might as well get to know each other.
Pride Started powering down non-need system to limit there power output. It was going to get alittle cold in here but they would be okay there were field jackets in back. Shuttle's always had extra equipment for almost any situations.
Pride thought this will be a test of ever thing we have learned lets hope we pass. Pride sat back and waited for farsir to find the warp trail. He wasn't worried he knew farsir would find it.

"Now we are all here,” Drew said, starting the meeting off, “Can someone please explain to me what happened down there?”
"Sir, if i may. Cadet Smith is probably best suited to tell you what had happened on the surface, at least during the time he was with the doctor and when he was stunned. Before that had happened, i assigned Cadet Smith and Cadet Nurem to acompany the doctor and her cadet, for protection as well as any aid they may have needed. When the call came from cadet Smith that an officer was down, the rest of the away team rushed over to find Cadets Smith and Rogers stunned, and the doctor was gone."
"Cadet, do you have anything to add?" Admiral Drew said as he turned towards Cadet Smith.
Once again Smith retuold his story, and afterwards Daya spoke up again. "Cadet, tell him about the four men you saw"
Cadet Smith then added in what he remembered about the four hooded men in the crowd.
ooc very good post there Cadet, way to get everything tied in together

In sickbay the EMH was suddenly activated.
"State the nature of the medical emergencies." He said, and looked around to see who activated him. He saw a young man, and wondered where Dr. Black had disappeared to.
"Cadet, I presume, where is Doc. Black?" He said confused and not having been updated.
(Rogers)
"Oh, he was replaced by Doctor Paris, well then where is he?" He said, and was corrected by one of the nurses that the doctor was a woman.
"Hello, nurse, what is needed of me?" He said turning to the woman and not waiting for the cadet to answer.
"The doctor is away right now, and needs you to help educate her cadet. He is wounded, and I do believe there are other people injured too." The nurse replied, and he wondered what the cadet was taught. He looked over the cadet, trying to decide the best course of action.
"Alright cadet, hop up on the biobed, I need to see what is wrong with you." He said, and found the cadet complied pretty easily. He picked up the nearby tricorder and scanned him.
"I see, well this is easy to fix. Nurse, I need two cc's of coratin." He said, and found a hypospray in his hands ready with the correct medicine in just moments. He remembered this nurse liked to work fast, and he was glad someone did. He pressed the hypospray against the cadet's neck.
"That should do the trick. Now do you know of anyone else who is wounded? Have we checked for any wounded among the recent crew? What has been going on around here? Curse me being a hologram, I always know nothing." He said looking to the cadet for answers.
(Rogers)
"Well, then call them in here so we can treat them. I will need your assistance if there is a great number." He said quickly, and then went into the doctor's office.
=^=Sickbay to the Bridge=^= "Do we have any injured on this ship that is in need of my services? Send them down immediately." He said and closed the channel not waiting for the bridge to reply.
Ensign Lotos Ral was heading for the counsellor's office. She knew he may need some help with all that was going on. She hoped to get counselling started immediately.
Once there, she saw the office was empty, so she sat down behind the desk. She noticed a message for everyone to go to the conference room, and wondered if she should go there. She decided to do so.
She entered the room, and found several were there already. She knew she was late, and hoped she hadn't missed anything. The admiral and everyone looked her way as she entered. "Sorry, sir, I didn't mean to be late." She said very nervous at being with the senior officers. She was reprimanded for her tardiness, and she took a seat. She looked around to see who was here, and she was surprised no medical personnel was at this meeting. She decided to look into that as soon as possible.
She listened and looked at the people responding. She could see there was something very wrong, she couldn't believe their CMO had been kidnapped, and she wondered what this had done for everyone else. She knew what was needed, and she knew she had to perform it after this meeting was over. She started writting names down on a padd she had with her.
After the meeting was over, she returned to her office. =^=This is the counsellor in training, I need Commander S'reena Hope report to the counsellor's office.=^= She said ending it quickly, she thought it would be good to start with the top of the away team. What had happened down on the planet was something that could affect the crew, and not in a good way.

Farsir doubted that admiral Drew wouldn't allow this shuttle mission to accure with any number of cadets. “OK,” Drew said after a few seconds of thoiught, “prepare an shuttle to follow the alien ship, however I want you to maintain a constant comm channel, try to avoid a hostile encounter if you can, and if you get into difficulties I want you to return to Hanson immediately.”
"Aye admiral, thank you sir" Cadet Pride replied. He and Farsir just looked and smiled at each other.
Farsir put a message for his instructor on his station really quickly that read "I will proform my duties to the the best of my ablities, you have no need for consern I will make you proud,"
Pride and farsir got up from thier stations at the same time and headed toward the turbolift. As the doors closed farsir looked at the bridge on last time before leaving the ship. He noticed that commander Reynolds was saying something but couldn't make it out but by the look on his face, Farsir could tell he said something close to "I know you will cadet," He and Pride hadn't said anything to each other at all on the bridge, but from how well he saw Pride do his duties he already highly respected. He wasn't sure what to say or how the break the silence. He was relieved when Pride had broke the ice. "Well Farsir looks like we get to have alittle adventure for ourselves hopefully we'll have something to talk about when we get back."
"agreed, and let's hope it's a mission other cadets will read about in the academy when we're offices., two cadets willing to take big chances just to help the mission" Farsir said as the shuttle bay door opened.
Taking thier seats in the shuttle Farsir checked all systems. "All systems are check out just fine,"
Pride tap his communicator "Cadet Pride to bridge Preflight checks complete permission to launch."
=^= permission granted, and don't get caught =^=
When the shuttle left the Hanson Pride looked over at Farsir "whats are course heading Farsir or can I call you Jason."
Already starting the scan for the warp signature farsir reposned "you can call me Jason," finishing the scan he told Pride the heading. As they heading into warp he asked "what should call you, Pride or Desert?"
< tag Pride>
Using the comm system in the shuttle Farsir contacted the Hason "Shuttle three to Hanson, we're following the warp signature and keeping an open communications channel as ordered"

other instructors who had been down planet...as well as cadets smith, rogers and nurem...please recount your versions of what happened down planet. This post takes place AFTER the meeting.
ic:
S'reena scowled, the last thing she needed right now was talk to a shrink, one in training no less. Her gaze crossed that of counselor Graxen, who at present had taken on the duties as navigator and he gave her a look that was non-negotiable. The Romulan scowled again and stalked out of the conference room, now that the meeting was over.
She had hoped to linger and talk things over with her commanding officer, but the last thing she wanted was talk to a counselor. She never liked them in the first place and in all her life there had been only one counselor she trusted, and he had left the Hanson almost a year ago.
At last, she stalked into the counselor's office. "I'm here," she said, "but I have nothing to tell you. Goodbye." She turned to leave, but the doors would not open before her.
<paris as counselor>
~~
Later, S'reena wearily stepped onto the bridge. "Any sign of the doctor yet?" she asked, rubbing her eyes while walking towards her chair. She nearly missed the seat as she sat down and her heart skipped a beat. ~that was close~ she thought as she corrected her near-error. "And any sign of those who attacked us?"
<Nurem/Daya>
"What is the status of the shuttle?"
<Graxen/Reynolds>
S'reena looked sideways. "Admiral, I need to talk to you," she said softly.
<Drew>
ooc: did I miss anyone? Graxen or Reynolds please include Farsir and Pride in your posts....
I believe both Graxen and Reynolds are on LOA S'reena - Drew

Pride: Plotted the course that Cadet Farsir had given him, double checked the ship systems and engaged the warp drive.
Pride: So Jason looks like were going to have some time on our hands until we catch up with the alien ship. Lets get to know each other this may be the only time we have to talk until we reach the alien ship. What made you decide to join star fleet?
Pride waited for Jason answer hoping he hadn't gotten to personal he still wasn't sure how to act around humans even tho he was one him self. On Pride adopted home world people were very open there were no secrets if you wanted to know something you just asked.
Pride had learned that was not alway so at the Academy that sometimes people like to keep to them selves Jason on the other hand had not given him that impression and he really did want to get to know him maybe even be his friend. Since he had left his home world he always felt as a outsider.
As the stars started to slip by Pride made sure that there warp trail would be easy to follow, as well as powering down life support to 50%. His plan was to make the ship appear to be junk floating in space when the reached the alien ship. It wouldn't to them any good if the alien ship picked them up on senors not to mention there shields would not stand a direct hit from what ever they used on the Hanson.
Before Pride finished he looked over at Jason you can call me Pride or Desert which ever you like I know my name seem a little strange but its only a name I wont take offense to which ever one you use

Brelev put down her research and headed to the conferance as orderd, most of the senior staff and cadet's where already present and Commander Paris' absence felt like a gapeing wound.
“Now we are all here,” Drew said, starting the meeting off, “Can someone please explain to me what happened down there?”
Brelev assumed he wanted everyone to give their perspective on events, so even though other's spoke up she added her voice. "The away team split up and began to carefully, obscretly, scan the planet and inhabitants. The Doctor and her cadet went one way escourted by Cadet Smith and Nurem. Shortly after I lost sight of them Cadet Smith notified me on my commbadge that they where under attack. When I arrived Cadet Smith and Roger where on the ground being tended by Cadet Nurem. I kept the crowd back and questioned them on what had happend, they told me what they told you. Under orders I questioned some of the locals. Few agreed on what had occured, however one elderly women speculated it may be a group of unsettled youths who oppose the current government, I have not proof however that that may be the case. I could not locate Commander Paris's biosign."
Brelev listend as the alien vessel was mentioned and discussed. "Do you suspect that this vessel is somehow involved?" she asked.
<Tag anyone who knows that answer>
her fears of leaving orbit, abandoning Angel, to follow the strange ship where relieved when Commander Farsir and cadet pride where assigned to take a shuttle and pursue while the Hanson remained to search for the doctor. "Alright then, I'll take the science console and see if I can locate our Doctor. Whatever is blocking her biosign has got to have a weakness. Cadet Nurem, would you be able to look through the planet's records for any rebel group with a motive against the Federation?"

Tinyl followed the others into the meeting room just as the Admiral was starting to speak. She had the scans running and the information being sent to a PADD she carried with her. This way they would have instant notification if anything was found.
She listened quietly as the Admiral and the instructors discussed the happenings on the planets surface. Her concentration inturrupted by a question from Commander Brelev. "Cadet Nurem, would you be able to look through the planet's records for any rebel group with a motive against the Federation?"
Tinyl didn't skip a beat but nodded. "Yes Sir. I will do that." she picked up the PADD which also held the information she had collected and that had been collected about the planet and its people and tapped the console. "I'll have that information shortly." she said as she bent her head to read the information being shown on the PADDS screen.

The ensign saw that Commander Hope had no desire to be there.
"Please, commander, have a seat and relax. I just want to talk." She said seeing the woman's back.
"I really wish you would relax, you seem so tense. I realize you were one of the ones down on the planet. It must be hard to know an officer was left behind." She said trying to push the right buttons to get a response from the woman. She wondered if she should have tried a different tactic before this one, but knew it was too late.
Meanwhile, down on the planet, Angel looked around her new little cell wondering if she was going to die there. She knew her crewmates would be looking for her, but she figured that they were having a hard time, or she would be back among them. She knew things would only get harder from here on in. ~Why don't they believe me? I am doing my best to make sure it looks like I am telling the truth, and yet they still torture me to find out what I am not telling them. What am I doing wrong? Am I doing something wrong? Who are these people, and have they always been this distrusting?~ Angel thought, and realized she had no idea what was going to happen. The woman came back, and this time she was holding something.
"Come with me, and don't even think about trying to escape. You are to be tested, and this is not my idea. I had nothing to do with this. You know too much about us, and it has been decided you will have the chance to join us." She said as Angel shakily got to her feet. ~Join them? Well if it means I won't be tortured, and that I can get back to my crewmates quicker, then can it be all that bad?~ She thought as she followed her.
In a large room, Angel was put in the center where she was told to defend herself is she could. She realized what was going on, but too late. She realized that this was not what she had in mind. She was given a weapon of some sort, and noticed a female with another of the same weapon. She was nervous, and only hoped that she would be able to win. She didn't want to think of losing.
The other female quickly brought her double bladed circular weapon up to take off Angel's head. Angel stopped the other blade with her own cutting the other woman's hand.
"You will pay for that move, kourta!" She yelled above the roar of those watching. Angel didn't give the woman time to move, bringing a kick into the woman's gut and using her weapon bringing to the other woman's neck.
"Go ahead, end this with your life in tact." Angel says only loud enough for the other woman to hear.
"You will regret this.... DITONOMA!" She said the first part only loud enough for Angel to hear, and then shouted the second part for all to hear. The crowd grew silent.
"Welcome to our clan, Angel. Lona you are completely demoted, and will serve in the Pouta." Jorta said, and Lona screamed as she was dragged away. Angel didn't know what would happen now, but she was glad to be alive and not being tortured.
"Come, Angel, it's time you were taught in our ways, and first things first is a change of clothes." Jorta said, and Angel just nodded and followed.

OOC: I would like to apologize for not posting sooner and this is also a sort of backpost.
Jason was happy that everything so far was going well. Nothing was out of the ordinary and his cadet was working hard. He was a bit disturbed that the away team hadn't reported back, but protocol did call for silence. So all he could do was keep a lock on them and have all possible sensors on them.
"Cadet Farsir, is there any way that you can give me more sensor accuracy?" Jason asked hoping to involve his cadet a bit more on the away team matter. He was busy with scanning the moons and other things, but Jason knew that an operations officer would be doing a lot more than just scanning and coordinating one thing.
<Tag Farsir>
It had just been a second that Jason had taken his eyes off his scanners, but in that second all hell broke loose on the planet. His sensor’s read phaser fire on the planet and chaos was everywhere.
“Admiral I’m reading phaser fire on the planet,” Jason reported.
“Drew to away team report!”
There was no answer as Jason kept scanning the area. “Admiral I’m no longer reading Dr. Paris biosigns,” Jason reported.
“Get them out of there now!” Drew roared. Jason did as he was told and got everyone on the planet back to the ship and transported the shuttle back to the cargo bay.
“There are back on the ship except Dr. Paris,” Jason reported much to his dismay. Admiral Drew immediately went into action.
Jason was silent as he listened to everyone repot to Admiral Drew. It went down the line and everyone seemed to feel as they were responsible, but Jason knew that it was his fault. If he had been paying attention to his scanners he could have gotten Dr. Paris out of there before she was kidnapped. Jason felt like a coward for not saying anything during the meeting, but he would make it his mission to make sure that the doctor got back to them safely.
All the instructors made their was to their stations on the bridge and Jason quickly took his station and started scanning for any possible sign of the doctor. He also kept one eye locked on the shuttle and the two cadets.
"What is the status of the shuttle?"
“The shuttle is on our sensors and scans show that everything is normal and they are in no present danger,” Jason reported glad that at least he could keep them safe.

Daya stood behind his cadet as she manned the tactical station, Cadet smith was over by the security station, checking the various systems.
Daya turned when Commander S'reena stepped on board the bridge, he thought he noticed something a bit differnet about her, but wasnt sure.
"Any sign of the doctor yet?" she asked, rubbing her eyes while walking towards her chair. "And any sign of those who attacked us?"
"We didnt find her commbadge down on the surface, i wanted to go down myself and see if i could talk any more information out of any one that may have seen anything."

Drew listened inventively to the reports the others gave as to what happened down on the surface, thankfully everyone seemed to be agreeing on the chain of events. As was to be expected, most of the Instructors were feeling partly to blame for the Doctor’s disappearance, but from what Drew could gather, no one could have prevented it from happening. The task now was to do everything they could to find the Doctor.
“Thank you everyone,” Drew said, when the last person had given a report, “I know it was a difficult situation down there, and you all have carried out your duties with distinction.”
There was a pause, as the Admiral’s words hung in the air, Drew took that chance to leave his seat, and walk towards the primary display grid. He keyed in some commands, and at once a map of the area Dr. Paris had disappeared in appeared.
“We will concentrate our search around these areas,” Drew said, highlighting key points within walking distance of the attack, “we have to assume for the time being that the perpetrators are still in the surrounding area, it is unlikely they have taken the Doctor far, and we know no one has left the planet.”
“I will be beaming down to the surface to discuss the situation with the Prime Minister, Cadet Smith, you will accompany me as my security escort.”
S’reena rose from her chair to protest, but Drew waved his hand for her to sit, “No arguments Commander,” he said harshly, “in this situation its better if myself and the Prime Minister meet face to face, and we all know he won’t leave the planet.”
“Yes sir,” S’reena replied coldly.
“Commander Brelev I want you and Lieutenant Daya to work on finding the Doctor, your Cadet’s will be able to assist you.”
“Commander Reynolds, when we get back onto the bridge, contact the shuttle, try to guide them as much as you can, once I return from the planet, we will catch them up and lend a hand.”
“Admiral?” Brelev spoke up, “what if we haven’t found Angel by the time you return?”
“Then we still go and track down the attackers,” Drew answered, “our mission is to find that stolen technology, and return it to its people, Dr. Paris’s disappearance is distressing, but we have to complete our mission.”
"Do you suspect that this vessel is somehow involved?" Brelev asked.
“I would bet my pips that it is,” Drew replied, “we find that ship, and I guarantee we will find the answers we need.”
“Cadet Rogers, I want you to accompany me as well,” Drew said, “I still haven’t given up hope of finding some way to help them with there illness.”
The medical cadet nodded his head in understanding, he looked the most upset at the thought of leaving Angel behind then anyone else in the room. For the brief time they had served together, a bond had clearly developed.
“I believe that is everything,” Drew said, “You all have your orders, dismissed.” Everyone gathered there belongings and made there way to leave the conference room, some of the Instructors left together, whispering about the meeting’s outcome. Brelev approached Nurem, and Drew heard her explaining her intentions to the Cadet.
“Cadets Smith and Rogers, meet me in transporter room one in ten minutes,” Drew ordered, as the two cadets left.
OOC Smith and Rogers, if you both post getting ready to meet me in the transporter room, and if you get far enough you can also post us beaming down the planet and the start of the meeting with the Prime Minister.
Brelev, Daya and Nurem if you start scanning everywhere, planning how we could rescue Angel, and explore more about that rogue group of youths you mentioned Brelev.
Reynolds, if you could give support to Pride and Farisr, and help them anyway you can from the Hanson bridge.
S’reena, the bridge is yours…

The Hanson said that they would keep a watch on the shuttle in case they need them for anything. "acknowledge Hanson, we should be fine but if we need the help will let you know, shuttle out"
"So Jason looks like were going to have some time on our hands until we catch up with the alien ship. Lets get to know each other this may be the only time we have to talk until we reach the alien ship. What made you decide to join star fleet?" Pride asked casouly.
"My father was a starfleet officer, so I'm more used to being on a starship then on any planet including Earth so I thought the best way to do that was to join starfleet. I also want to make my family proud" Farsir replied
"You can call me Pride or Desert which ever you like I know my name seem a little strange but its only a name I wont take offense to which ever one you use"
"why did you join starfleet Desert?"

S'reena scowled angrily as Drew left the bridge and turned to look at Reynolds. "Make sure you don't lose his signal commander," she ordered, "the last thing Starfleet needs is a case of a missing rear admiral. And if it comes about it'll be on my plate and I really could miss having such a note on my record."
She turned back and faced the main screen, which showed the planet serenely turning on it's axis, one side lit by the sun, the other hudled in darkness. "Where are you doc," she muttered, "and why did you not defend yourself?" The Romulan settled back in the centre seat, but couldn't get comfortable in it.
"Damn you admiral," she muttered under her breath, hoping no-one heard. It was not language that was preferable use on the bridge, and certainly unfit for her rank. "Your place is here, not out there endangering yourself. What if you get hurt, what do I tell your wife? Your children?" She shook her head in dismay, her long hair falling into her face. Annoyed, she wiped the loose strands aside.
"Status of the admiral and the two cadets?" she querried, not caring who would answer the query. "An the shuttle status?"
<resp anyone still on bridge>

Mother steered her shuttlecraft through Ush space, visibly annoyed at being discovered. Her son was down planet, and she worried about him even though she knew he would do what was right for them. Checking her sensors, she saw a Federation shuttlecraft was following her warp trail and she cursed under her breath.
Though she didn't want Federation to find her, she didn't want to destroy the shuttle just yet either. "Scare them is what I'll do first," she murmured, her hands flying over her console. "Arm weapons, aim them, fire," she muttered, ticking off the chain of events to fire phasers.
And sure enough, a blue streak emitted from the nose of her vessel, shooting square across the bow of the other vessel. Far enough to give them a good scare, but close enough to singe the plating of the shuttle. Having done her share, she set her speed controls to maximum and shot out of the system at full impulse, giving the two cadets in the shuttle (though she didn't know who was flying the shuttle at all) something to kill their time with.

Before Pride could answer Farsir Question<Why did you join Star fleet> Pride felt the shuttle start to shutter apparently the alien ship was closer then they thought.
Pride: Started banking the shuttle hard to port which was a strain on the shuttle moving at warp speed. Farsir tell the Hason to raise shields I'm going to give our friend out there something to think about. As the shuttle started to bank Pride started venting warp plasma in to space to ignite with the alien ships phaser fire. Make them believe they screwed up and hit the shuttle. He could tell by the angle of the fire they justed wanted to scare the shuttle off.
Pride turned to Fasir I'm going to get you right in front of that alien ship. I want you to fire a tight phaser beam at there senor array. Put all the power the shuttle has into it, if this works they will have to stop they cant fly blind. While your doing that I'm going to launch a class 1 probe to start scanning that ship and relay the scans to the Hanson. Then we are going to make a run for that Hanson theres no way this shuttle will hold up to there weapons fire.
Farsir are you with me on this one, were only going to get one shot hopefully they will be confused by the explosion long enough for us to pull this off.
Pride was thinking to himself how a few seconds seemed like hours. He was also hoping Farsir would go with the plan he never had any doubts about Farsir abilities he had already proven to pride that he could do his job and do it well.

Angel had wondered what being part of the clan involved. She didn't want to do anything to hurt her crewmates and their cadets, and worse of all her own cadet. She was doing her best to get back to him, and she looked at the data she had been given. She was told that she would serve Jorta by sorting through the many files Jorta has around. Jorta needed a new filing system, and Angel knew this was an easy task.
In a couple of hours Angel had the whole room filed away by name and number, if needed. She went to report to Jorta for another task, as she knew she wasn't leaving anytime soon, and that there was still time left before she was locked up again.
She was walking down a corridor, when she felt like someone was watching her. She looked back to see nothing there. She felt a breeze, and wondered what was going on. Angel kept moving wondering what was going on. She found Jorta in a room talking to someone. She was about to go in.
"Don't worry so much. Angel will never figure out that we are watching her every move. I gave her a task that will keep her busy for the rest of the day." Jorta said and smiled. Angel couldn't believe her ears. She had only been allowed to join because they wanted to know more about her activities. She realized that the breeze from earlier was probably the person Jorta had watching over her. The person Jorta was talking to left using the door to the left. Angel entered.
"Jorta, there you are. I have been looking for you. That task you assigned, well it has been finished. Is there something else you wanted me to do?" Angel said, and she could tell Jorta was surprised.
"You finished all three rooms?" Jorta said, and Angel's face fell. She hadn't realized there was more than one room.
"No, I only did the one. Where are the other two?" Angel asked in despair. She knew what was going on, and decided to play along for now. There had to be a way out of this, and she decided to seek it at all costs.
The counsellor found the commander's silence unrefreshing. She wondered if a different tactic would be better, even though she had started with this one.
"Commander, I see you have a couple of children. Why don't you tell me about them." The ensign said trying something new to see if she could get a response.

ooc: to preserve continuancy...Im going to cut off the counseling session and have S'reena return to bridge..otherwise things will become too bloody confusing for everyone. Therefor, this post takes place between Drew's meeting end, and S'reena being left in command of the bridge. I would prefer that the session part does not get responded to, we'll continue that later, when we have more time.
ic: "Commander, I see you have a couple of children. Why don't you tell me about them." The ensign said trying something new to see if she could get a response.
"I don't think so," S'reena replied harshly, "though I have to return to those children right now. Open the door, or I will get it open the hard way." The Romulan had no desire to talk to a counselor, and she certainly didn't like being forced to. She turned around, an angry look on her face. "I've broken things in a counselor's office before, don't make me do it again just to be able to leave...."
The Romulan quite meant what she said and she saw the counselor had figured that out too. She heard a hiss and the door swooshed open before her. "Thank you counselor," S'reena said sweetly and returned to the bridge.
~~
S'reena still wasn't happy with the fact that Drew had gone off to meet with the president himself. While she didn't doubt his diplomatic skill and certainly respected his seniority in the chain of command, she felt he was unnecessarily risking himself where he could easily have delegated.
<tie in previous post here please....instructors/cadets left on hanson please respond>
~~
Mother cheered as she saw the shuttlecraft vent plasma, but she realized she was cheering too soon as she knew she had never actually hit the Federation shuttlecraft. At most, she had singed their hull plating. She watched as the shuttle came about slowly, and waited for them to jump into action.
Her sensors told her that their weapons were charging up, and she charged her own up again in kind. ~this is fun~ she thought as she led her shuttle into a series of complex maneuvres, constantly changing her shield harmonics, speed and sensor output. She knew it would confuse them, and teach her their capabilities and their limits.
Finally she had enough. "Federation shuttle," she announced, "you are tresspassing. Return to your ship, or risk destruction."
<Farsir/Pride.........don't destroy the vessel please.....cripple yes, destroy no. Don't kill Mother either please...you may capture her over the next couple of posts>

Over the past little bit alot had happened, somehow, Krythan found himself in the conference room being told that he was to go down and help out!
This was great he would use everything he had been taught in the academy classrooms and everything he learned in the short time that he had been on board the Hanson! He would finally really help someone...not just someone but an entire race.
His father wouldn't believe that something good had come of Krythan when he joined Star Fleet, after all, it was always his father that frowned upon him for ever wanting to practice medicine and totally ignore what his father wanted him to become.
Father, "So, thw wife says you want to be a doctor when you grow-up;"He turns away from the younger teen that was Krythan in his youth,"You know, I want you to DO something with you life, not waste it away looking after cadets with colds!" His father slammed his fist into the wall which was a common thing in the Rogers's household. "But Dad! I ju-u-ust..." He stopped as his father twisted around and gave Krythan a hard slap across the face, "I just want the best for you and looking after the feeble wont help at all!" Krythan stepped away with beads of salty tears in his eyes, "I'll show you! I will!" He ran to his room and hid under the blankets where his father caught him and gave him a beating that Krythan would never forget...
Krythan found himself walking down a random hall but he soon corrected his path and made his way to the transporter room where he was supposed to meet the Admiral and Smith.

Cadet Pride: Felt a little foolish that the warp plasma trick hadn't worked. Well its not the first mistake I've made and wont be the last. The situation has now changed time to charge tactics. The alien ship is testing us, trying to see what I'll do next.
Pride: Turned to Jason raise the Hanson I've got another Idea but were going to need some help first. Pride was alittle worried that they would be ordered to return Star fleet didn't like putting Cadets in harms ways on there first mission.
Pride: Plotted a course that would take them away from the alien ship, we need some time Farsir let me know when you have the Hanson make sure its a secure channel <Farsir>

"Status of the admiral and the two cadets?" she querried, not caring who would answer the query. "An the shuttle status?"
"The Admiral and the cadets were just transported down to the planet," Jason said," I have a constant lock on them, at the first sign of trouble I will transport them back immediately."
Immediately after answering the first question, Jason checked up once again on the shuttle. He was alarmed when his sensors showed that the alien ship and the shuttle were less than 100,000 kilometers apart.
"Commander we have a problem, the alien shuttle is really.....Commander the shuttle was just attacked by the alien vessel," Jason reported as he opened a link to the shuttle.
<Tag S'reena>
"Hanson to Shuttle report," Jason ordered not waiting for S'reena to ask the question. Jason felt more responsible as his cadet was currently on the shuttle craft.

"Alright Cadet, lets get to the surface and start scanning the areas " Moments later Daya, Brelev, and Cadet Nurem were all on the surface, tricorders in hand. "Where would you suggest starting commander?" Daya said he looked at Brelev.
