ooc: Adm Drew ok'd me to start this up. He'll finish this part for me later, once he knows all he needs to know ;D
ic: S'reena Hope wandered around the holodeck, feeling once more like her old self. Two of her five children happily bounced around her, trying to 'help' decorating the place. The Romulan first officer had chosen an Hawaiian setting for the graduation, and she expected everyone to attend in correct attire for this setting.
"Michael, hand me that string overthere please," she called over her shoulder, as she balanced on a ladder, keeping a few poles together. No sooner had she tied the string around the poles, or the ladder gave under her. With a cry she found herself airborn, only to be caught by her husband just before she landed in the sand.
"Thank you," she smiled, then looked at the baby triplets which lay laughing. "Look at that, their first laugh!" S'reena cheered, as she got to her feet and dusted the sand off her. She caught Michael staring at her and she shooed him off. "You ought to get dressed honey," she chided, "admiral Drew and the rest will be here soon!"
She brushed the sand off her shoulders, and re-adjusted her top, then straightened the strands of her grass skirt, though underneath her attire she was wearing bathing shorts and a bikini, just in case even though she had no intention of ever entering the water. On the table, she piled the scrolls which resembled the diploma's for the graduates, and neatly piled the boxes with their new pips, as well as the boxes with the academy awards.
"And now.....we wait," she chuckled.
<Your turn Admiral!>

Brelev got the notification about the Graduation and was immediatly confused. Hawaiian theme, Graduations had themes now and what exactly was Hawaiian? Needless to say she needed to do some research.
When she graduated the ceremony had been a dreadfully dull and formal occasion. She'd assumed they hadn't changed, apparently she was wrong. She found some information on Hawaiian, apparently it was a popular vacation destinination back on Earth, similer to Risa, but natural. She had nothing that matched the attire she saw on her research. Presuably none of the Promenade shops would either. She would need to replicate somthing, luckily for her a Sarong was a one size fits all type of clothing.
When she arrived at the holodeck she noted she was the first, none-Hope family, person there. "Commander, is this alright?" she asked, she finally found a way to wear the purple cloth in a functional manner, wrapped repeatedly around her and tied with a bit of rope. It looked stupid.
"Oh! Wasn't there some instructions?" S'reena asked.
"Not really, I geuss they assumed everyone knew how to put it on. I could really use a hand I feel ridiculouse." Brelev replied.

S'reena stiffled a smile as she noticed the Denobulan science officer enter, wearing a saron just wrapped around her and held in place by a piece of rope. She got to her feet and walked up to her. "Come with me," she said, as she directed the science officer behind a bamboo 'wall', which was serving as a screen to keep the wind out.
Even though the setting was Hawaiian, and on a holodeck, that too meant the sound of the ocean in the background, and a strong sea breeze coming their way. "Now, I hope you're wearing a bathing suit underneath that," the Romulan suggested, "because this type of sarong is usually worn over one. To her relief, the Denobulan was wearing at least something similar underneath. She proceeded to untie the rope that was holding the sarong up, then rewrapped it around her body, tying two loose ends behind her neck. "There, much better," she smiled.
She looked around and noted that not many others had entered yet. "Admiral Drew should be here soon. Perhaps you could help me in finishing up the preparations? Decoration-wise that is."

Cadet Pride:reported to the holodeck in his Hawaiian attire grass skirt and a Magnum PI Hawaiian shirt. Pride had no idea who the man was but apparently he was a importan man in Hawaii in the early 1980's. Pride made sure to wear swim shorts underneath the grass skirt.
Pride: Entered the holodeck and didn't see anybody he knew. There was a man working on decoration's and some children. It wasn't until pride got a closer look at the kids that he figured it out. These must be Commander S'reena children and that must be her mate. Pride thought it was a little funny I wonder if the kids know what fear the commander instills in the cadets. Then to come back to quarters and be a mommy that was funny cadet Pride Started laughing. Pride went over and introduced himself to the Commander Mate and to her Kids.
Pride then started doing magic tricks for the kids Pride had to admit the commanders kids were sharp they would start telling him how he was doing his tricks when he got done. If they hadn't figured it out they made him repeat the trick until they did. These kids are definitely Commander S'reena pride thought. Thats when he notice the Commander walking back to wards him and Pride came to attention.

S'reena stopped dead in her tracks when she noticed Cadet Pride playing with two of her children. She smiled as she saw how much fun they were having, as the cadet was seemingly showing them magic tricks. "You're early Cadet Pride," she stated, as he clambered to his feet and stood at attention. "At ease, before you pull something. This is to be a party, maybe somewhat of a formal happening. However, why are you in uniform?"
She grinned, pointing at her own attire, and then at Brelev's. "No uniforms Mr Pride," she said, "you might want to go and change...and come back once you've done that. You're early anyway."
<Pride>
ooc: everyone: no uniforms at this party! feel free to join in....I'm certain RA Drew will post the actual ceremony real soon, so you all had better be here before then ;D

Brelev thanked S'reena for fixing her sarong. The Romulan women could be so cold sometimes, but she had a cheery side that was certainly shining now. Brelev picked up some decorations and helped S'reena finish setting up the holodeck. The sea breeze wafted over to the slowly growing group and it took very little effort to imagine you were really on a tropical island.
She took a moment to watch cadet Pride play with the Hope childern, he would make an excellent officer, all of the cadets would. "Commander I have an odd question."
"What is that?" S'reena replied.
"Why did you not program in the decorations, it would certainly save us some work." Brelev pointed out.
"That's certainly true, but it's always a little more rewarding when you set them up yourself, by hand." S'reena explained.
"I think I understand. I hope the others arrive soon I'm looking forward to my first graduation, or rather first graduation when I'm not the one graduating."

Cadet Smith looked at himself in the mirror. He admired his dress uniform, which was freshly pressed and very sharp. With its high collar, dress coat, stripes down the side of the pants legs, and shiny leather shoes, it was distinctly military, which is what Smith liked about it. He lightly touched his cadet insignia, knowing that later that day they would be replaced with officer's insignia.
Cadet Smith walked out of his quarters and strod tall and proud on his way to the holodeck where the graduation ceremony was scheduled to take place. But when he entered the holodeck, he thought he must be in the wrong place. This didn't look like a ceremony, but rather a tropical beach party reminicent of Hawaii or the Florida Keys.
But then he spotted Commander Hope -- wearing a grass skirt -- and he was even more confused. She spotted him about that time, too, and walked over to him (he hadn't even left the doorway).
"Good morning, ma'am..." Smith uttered. He intended to say more, but he couldn't find the words fast enough, and she interrupted him.
"Well hello, Cadet Smith," she replied cheerfully, "but why are you in uniform?"
"I..." Smith stammered. He had no clue how to answer a question like that. Why wouldn't I be in uniform?? he thought.
But before Smith had a chance to collect his thoughts, Hope pointed to her own festive attire and then to Commander Brelev's. "No uniforms Mr. Smith," she said. "Why don't you go change and come back when you've done that."
Smith hesitated, the whole thing throwing him for a loop, but he recovered quickly. "Yes ma'am," he said, snapping to attention. He walked quickly back to his room, hastily found replicator specs for a hawaiian shirt, bermuda shorts, and leather sandals. The shorts were tan with big cargo pockets, and the shirt depicted a traditional native Hawaiian villiage at the bottom, with a bright blue sky filling the top two thirds of the shirt.
Smith felt awkward walking through the halls of the Hanson (or are we on the starbase?) dressed like this, and was relieved to make it to the holodeck. It wasn't that he didn't like such attire -- he really did -- but on a military vessel full of uniformed personnel, he felt out of place. Smith entered the holodeck, found a seat, and waited for something to happen.

Angel got up from her nap, and noticed what time it was. Remembering the memo, she got about the attire, and a smile slowly started to spread across her face. She felt more like herself, and went to change quickly.
She noticed the stares because of her clothes, but she ignored them, instead finding a spring in her step. She wondered what the commander would say, but decided not to go into the 'what ifs' on this situation. She had no idea where her idea had sprung from, but she was glad that she was feeling a bit like her old self again.
She entered the holodeck, and noticed they were putting up decorations. She saw the commander, Brelev, and the commander's kids. She noticed no one else had arrived, and she couldn't wait to see everyone's faces.
"Hello, ladies, I see you need another pair of hands. Besides this doesn't look festive enough." She said teasing them both. They turned her way, and she could see the look on their faces. She did her best to keep a straight face, and realized her look was classic. She was glad she choose the coconut bra, grass skirt, and crossbone earrings. A smile spread slowly across her face, and she picked up a drinking glass, a coconut.
"Ya know, we could have you two in the exact same thing." She said, and smiled a wolfish grin. She knew that the commander wouldn't go for it, and she didn't think Brelev was brave enough.
"So, decorating by hand, goodie. Time for lots of fun." She said still smiling wolfishly.

ooc: mind the pranks angel...not everyone appreciates them. And this is a graduation, they do not belong here.
"I beg your pardon?" the Romulan first officer retorted, not finding the doctor's strange grin any sign of good foreboding. She looked the doctor over, appreciating the fact that she hadn't come down in uniform.
It had already been bad enough she had to send two cadets out the door to get changed, and she started wondering by now if no-one had actually read the notice she had send both instructors and cadets. "Yes I am decorating by hand, and Commander Brelev has been a great help."
S'reena stuffed a few strings into Angel's already full hands. "And now that you are here, perhaps you can assist us? Admiral Drew should be arriving soon, I would like to see the final decorations done before he arrives."
Turning around, she smiled as she saw the marine cadet walk back in, but couldn't help noticing that he didn't look very comfortable. "Relax, Mister Smith," she laughed at him, "this is a party. There is a reason I said no uniforms, you know."

Cadet Pride: Returned to the holodeck in the clothing required Grass skirt shorts and a Hawaiian shirt with a flower necklace on. He didn't understand the flowers but the computer said it was traditional. Pride notice the instructors talking and saw cadet smith he held a chuckle this cadet could beam into a mob and rescue crew members put him in Hawaiian clothes he looked miserable.
Pride saw the commanders kids he had played with early. Pride took his sandals off and put his feet in the sand he knew it wasn't real but it felt like home for a few seconds. Then pride looked at the ocean and stared it was the most impressive thing earth had to offer. There were no large body's of water like this on Teac not above ground any way. Pride: Took a minute to center himself and to prepare his body for the party so he wouldn't get drunk. He thought being able to regulate your body functions does come in handy some time. Pride mind drifted to his home world. He knew he had time for those thoughts not to mention if the instructor walked to wards him it would bring him back he grew up on a desert planet and would feel the vibrations in the sand. Pride thought and stared at the ocean

OOC this is where i get tohave my fun
IC:
Daya strode happily through the corriders towards the holodeck, smiling happily as he passed by a few officers who looked at him strangely.
as he entered the holodeck he was glad to hear laughter coming from inside at his attire. He walked over to Angel and stood next to her , smiling just as largely as she was. "How do I look?" he asked and waited as she turned to look.
He stood with his legs spread a little more than shoulder length apart, his grass skirt flowing freely in the sea breeze, and he shook his own coconut bra, causing the lei's on his necks to ruffle a bit across his bare chest. ;D He smiled once more and laughed at the looks on the faces of the others.

OOC: I'm being told to have fun, I don't know if I can handle that.IC: This was going to be Jason's first graduation and he couldn't be happier. He was glad that he was on Conqueror, seeing the view and meeting all the cadets. He was only in his twenties, but he already felt so old compared to the cadets here. Yet when he received a personal message from Admiral Drew to come to the holodeck dressed Hawaiian style, Jason immediately regressed to his inner child. Something that would really surprise most of his crewmates. When Jason entered the holodeck he was pleased to see that everyone had arrived. It meant that the initial ceremony would be starting soon, but before that he would want to congratulate his cadet. "Mr. Farsir, a moment please?" Jason asked his cadet who was talking to someone he didn't know. <Tag Farsir> "Well Cadet, I would like to congratulate you on all your hard work and wish you the best of luck in your endeavors," Jason said knowing that in a while Jason Farsir wouldn't be a cadet anymore. It's the Conqueror, Mr. Reynolds, not the Assailant. =/\= ONE

Cadet Pride: Stood and stared at the ocean listening to the waves the Commander had done a good job with this program he could feel the spray of the water on his face. Pride notice that the rest of the instructors were showing up. He felt alone now he had lost his instructor at the start of the mission. He envied the other cadets wondering what last bit of advice there instructors with giving. Pride turned to look at the ocean again feeling like the outsider once again.

Angel noticed the navigations cadet near the ocean, and she wondered what he must be thinking. She realized he would be the only cadet without an instructor here, and she didn't like that. She abandoned her decorating duties, and walked over to where he was standing.
"Wonderful view, isn't it? I think you did wonderfully this mission, and I know it is hard not having an instructor there for you. I am somewhat of a pilot myself, my grandfather taught me. I don't know how you feel right now, and I don't know if it would help, but maybe I could be here for you. I know I wasn't your instructor this mission, but at least it would be better than facing graduation alone." She suggested, and looked away from the view to him. She wasn't sure if he liked the idea, but she remembered her graduation.

Looking at himself in the mirror Drew could not believe that he had let S’reena talk him into this. He was wearing a brightly coloured t-shirt, complete with equally colourful shorts, the only hint of uniform was the silver comm badge pinned to his chest. Taking a deep breath, Drew picked up his padd, and exited his quarters, S’reena had just contacted him to let him know everything was now ready for the graduation.
Walking into the holodeck, Drew had to admit that the First Officer had done a good job, right down to the slight breeze that made his skin get goose bumps. He wasn’t surprised to see he was the last to arrive, nor that everyone was already seated waiting for him. Smiling at the row of anxious Cadets, Drew approached the front stage.
“Good Afternoon,” he said happily, reaching the microphone, “and welcome to your graduation.”
There was a loud round of applause from everyone.
“I would like to give thanks to Commander Hope, for arranging this wonderful ceremony for us, I know she has put a lot of work into this.”
Again, the gathered crowd clapped, expect this time S’reena looked shy and embarrassed.
“And now,” Drew continued, “the part you have all been waiting for, would all our Cadets please come to the stage.”
The five Cadets smartly marched up to the stage, and proudly stood to attention.
“Now usually,” Drew said, walking to greet them, “I would pin your new rank insignia to your uniforms, but given Commander Hope’s rules, I will hand them to you instead.”
Picking up the five black boxes, Drew approached the first Cadet.
“Tinyl Nurem, you have graduated Starfleet Academy, and are awarded the rank of Lieutenant Junior grade”
“Jason Farsir, you have also graduated Starfleet Academy, and are awarded the rank of Ensign.”
“Desert Pride, you have graduated from the Academy, and are awarded the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade.”
“Krythan Rogers, you have graduated from the Academy, and are awarded the rank of Ensign.”
“And finally, W. Bedell Smith, you have also graduated the Academy, and are awarded the rank of First Lieutenant.”
“Congratulations to you all, may your careers be long and successful,” Drew said, smiling proudly at the young officers, “I am sure you will make the Hanson proud.” OOC: Details of the Academy awards, and assignments will be announced shortly, I see some of you already have your new rank pips on proboards :-) Congratulations to each of you, and enjoy being apart of Section 47.

Ensign Krythan Rogers walked of stage with his new rank tightly grasped in his hand. This was one of the things that he had waited for his entire life, well almost at one point he wanted to be a fire fighter. Now standing just standing there in his red with multi-coloured flower hawaii vacation T-shirt and a pair of blue swim trunks, he began to think about where this new oppritunity would take him as a doctor in star Fleet.
He took a seat and picked up a cocanut cup and slurpped out the contents, all the time saying hellos and recieving handshakes, it was a great feeling to pass something you think your going to fail and Krythan wanted it to last forever.

Cadet Pride: felt the vibrations in the sand when Commander Paris walked up he came to attention. commander Paris told him at easy and listened to her. yes commander I would be honored if you stood in as my instructor. He didn't know why he wanted to talk but he went on he felt comfortable around her I guess you have to have that feeling to be a good doctor the thought. Commander I grew up on a planet being the only human I was raised in there ways some times I feel so alone even though I surround by humans. Before he could finish he saw the admiral walk in. he look at the commander I guess its time to graduate. They walked back to there seats.
Pride: listened to the admiral speech and walked up on stage to receive his pips. I never even dreamed I be a Lt JG I was just hoping to make Ensign he thought. He walked off the stage and looked for commander Paris and to see if she had any last minute advice to give.

Angel saw the admiral walk in and took her seat. She listened to the announcement, and cheered for both cadets, and she chided herself when she realized her mistake.
She saw Krythan first, and walked over to him. "Congrats, and good luck in the fleet. I remember when I was out there. It can be difficult being the doctor. Sometimes people like you, and then the next minute they hear its time for a physical, and they hate you. You have to make the right choice no matter what the cost. It isn't an easy job, but it is well worth it. Be careful with those pranks too. That can hurt you out there, especially if your commanding officer is very serious. Again good luck." She said, shook his hand, patted him on the shoulder, and left to find Pride.
She saw him before he saw her. She smiled and walked over to him. "Congrats, and good luck. Being the navigator isn't easy, and sometimes we even lose our way among the stars. I hope you never lose your way. About what you were saying earlier, I know what it is like walking a path alone. I too am alone, even though there are several humans around." She said and motioned for him to move away from the crowd. Once they were secluded, she decided it was a good idea to let him in on her secret.
"I have been keeping a secret to myself for a few years now. I will tell you, but you must not tell anyone about this. I can't have everyone knowing about me. I trust you because you are like me. I would appreciate it if you would also not ask any questions after I tell you. Will you promise to keep my secret, and not ask any questions once you know?" She said hoping he would promise to this.

Pride: Listened to commander Paris at last someone who understood. Commander there is a custom if you are family then no secret maybe told to someone who is not even if it will save a life with out asking permission of the family first. I accept you into my family circle and even if order to by a supior office I will not tell your secret. The family bond goes beyond rules and regulations. By you entering my family you will have a voice on teac you will have a home and a seat on the council in my stead if the need arise we are as one. This doesn't mean we are married simply that you will be my sister. I will keep your secret as long as your will to accept me as your brother and be family. She heard what he said, and couldn't believe he wanted that. She smiled realizing she had no family around now. She realized her parents didn't even exist yet.
"I accept this honor you are bestowing on me. I would love to be your sister." She said and smiled.
"Is there anything to make this official, or do we do that later?" She said quickly wondering what ritual she would have to take part in.
(Pride)
"Alright, well I can tell you now any ways. I also hope you would trust me with anything of the same nature." She said becoming a bit nervous. She wasn't sure how he would react to her news. She gulped, and decided not to stall any more.
"I am not from here at all. I was brought back in time somehow, and am from forty years in the future. My parents aren't even born yet, and my grandparents are still young." She said, and watched his face for his reaction.

Crystal notices that a graduation is going to happen soon on the Starbase. She wonders if she is allowed to attend, and checks. It appears that she can, but it’s forbidden to come in uniform. In fact, the required apparel appears to be-Hawaiian? Crystal looks to see what Hawaiian apparel is, and frowns at the image. There is no way she is wearing anything like that.
Crystal quickly decides that khaki pants and a light long-sleeve blue shirt is practically Hawaiian, or, at the least, the closest she is going to get. She does decide on sandals, they aren’t quite standard Hawaiian, but consist of a sole fastened by straps to the foot.
But she doesn’t understand how this could be a graduation. She thought that graduations were supposed to be serious matters, but…evidently not, since her own was a medieval style, and neither of them seem like they can import the significance onto the new cadets that they are going to be on their own, as officers.
Crystal enters the holodeck and suppresses a laugh. It appears the computer wasn’t lying to her about the outfit that was classified as ‘Hawaiian,’ although Crystal wouldn’t have been too surprised if it had. But she can’t believe that anyone would actually dress this way.
A man in a bright shirt and shorts gives the graduation speech soon after Crystal arrives and sits in the area for guests. After the ceremony is over, Crystal isn’t quite sure what to do; she feels as if she should hang around a little bit, but she doesn’t know anyone here. She stares off at the water, which brings her back to her childhood, in San Francisco, when she would hide by the pier just so she could watch the waves going in and out for hours and hours.
Crystal tries to lose herself in the steady motion the same way she could lose herself when she was seven, but she can’t. For one, there’s no one telling her that she isn’t allowed to be here, so there isn’t the same sense of forbidden pleasure. Plus, she has too much to think about. And she would rather not let her thoughts go down all the distant paths they want to. She looks up suddenly as she thinks she hears footsteps approaching her.

Before the graduation : Farsir heard that at graduation it was hawiiawn outfits. This pleased him to be able to wear some good ol'fashion 20th centuray things. He put on what was known as suffer clothes and some sunglasses. He was just about to head out when he got a message for him. The note had said his sister was comming to the starbase to see him graduate.
In the holodeck a few minutes after he entered a blond woman with wavey blond hair and deep ocean blue eyes waved at him "Jason over here,"
"How'd you know it was me,"
"Your my brother I know you," They gave each other a hug. "so how was it?"
"More difficult then I excpeted but great, and well worth it." Jason said smiling when he heard his commander Reynolds voice from behind him.
"Mr Farsir, a moment please," Reynolds said with causal voice.
Jason walked up to him. "Sir this is my sister Amanda Dodd,"
Shaking hands they said "Please to meet you," at the same time. Then Reynolds turned to look back at Farsir. "Well Cadet, I would like to congratulate you on all your hard work and wish you the best of luck in your endeavors,"
"Thank you sir it's been an honor serving with you. I hope I get the opertunity to do it again."
After the ceremony:
After everyone got thier rank pin and shook the admirals hand, Jason walked off stage and hugged Amanda. He looked around to see if he could find Pride. It took a few seconds but he turned back to Amanda. "there's someone I want you to meet," and he walked her toward Desert Pride.
"Congradulations." Jason said shaking his hand. I'd like you to meet my sister Amanda.,"
< Tag Pride>
"Well I guess from now on I'll have to be calling you sir." Jason said laughing.
<Tag Pride>
"Well it's been an honor and I hope to surve with you again,"

"Well I guess I'll see ya later," Jason said then started to walk away then turned around. "oh and stay in touch,"

Pride: Was so happy the Commander Paris accepted his offer at last he would have family. He listened to here secret and was amazed. It wasn't impossible he had learned that humans sometimes cant grasp the anything is possible not matter how crazy it sound. After all doctors still couldn't believe a human could heal himself as he could. The people of Teac had gotten him at a young age when he hadn't learned what physical laws meant so his mind was able to learn what the people of teac had learned. That the mind could do anything if you new how.
Pride: Look at Paris his knew sister then he said" I'm honored you trust me and I can see the pain it cause you. There must be so much emptiness always wondering if the person you see or talk could one day be a descendant. I tell you now that you will never be alone again we will always be part of each other. My people may be able to help you if you wish. They wont be able to get you home but they have a vast understanding of allot of things. They may be able to help you find that family line. IF and when you are ready let me know I will put you in touch with one of our he was looking for term Priest would do. They don't preach to you they just see things with there mind trace patterns they might be able to help.
Pride: Looked at his new sister and felt pain for her and love. Before I ship out there is something we must do. It is a simple thing you will not be hurt we will drink a very special drink spring water from my home world very special when we drink there will be a mind link. I wont be able to read your thoughts or you mind those are private things. You will be-able to know how I feel if I'm happy or sad and I you this link will only work when you want it to. We can send message's to each other of how we are feeling. In times of danger you will be able to call on this and share how do I say this certain ability's. You will be able to call on knowledge if you need it and one other thing very important you can call on my ability to heal your self. Please use this when you are introulble don't worry about me I will be fine I will get very hungry and tired I will know what you are doing I will be fine. In the same note I will be able to call on your knowledge of things to help people heal. I wont be a doctor in any sense but your mind will send me what I need to know to stabilize the problem. All these things will be yours and the most import an one is you and I will no longer be alone. Pride stared at Paris wondering will she accept it was alot to take in and one other thing you will be a member of the ruling family on Teac the nearest term would be a Princes and everybody on teac will know you not your secret just your face and name you can always contact them in times off need sometimes being a Princes can come in handy when in need of a ship.
Pride: Notice Ensign Farsir approaching and shook his hand well we made it. It was fun maybe we'll do it again one day. I"ll catch up with you later before the end of the party okay.
Pride: Turned one more time to look at Paris and waited to see what her answer was he knew he was giving up alot my making this bound it was a one time thing the bound would be life long but it meant he would have someone who understood how things dont always work and how he felt not to mention he hope his world might be-able to give her some peace but he was going to check to see if there was away to get her home even if it meant be being alone again after all you always help family even if it means you being alone again.

Angel heard what he was saying, and realized what that might do. He might have information from the future at his beck and call. It made her nervous. She wasn't sure this was a good idea.
Farsir came. "Congrats on your fine efforts. Good luck in the fleet." She said, then turned back to Pride. Farsir left as soon as he came.
She was a little scared that he would have information from her, but she also wanted to be part of a family again.
"I like the idea of being part of a family, but this information share scares me a little. You wouldn't just have normal information. You would be able to get information from the future, and that is a big responsiblity to carry. You would have to guess what is from the future, and what isn't. You wouldn't be able to explain how you knew certain things because no one can know where I came from. No one has asked me about my origins, and I like to keep a low profile. By wanting this, you would have to do the same, and keep a low profile on the information you would have. If the Federation found out about me, everyone would want to ask all about their futures, and it is best not to know about what will happen next. I know, and I wish I didn't. As for going back to my time, I don't want to. I wanted a new start, and I lucked out and am here." She said hoping he would use his better judgement with any information he might receive from her. She was still nervous, but decided it was better to leap into this than anything.
"Other than that, I don't have a problem with this, and I do trust you. So let us drink this water." She said and hoped she hadn't scared him with her information and talk of keeping a low profile.

Pride: Looked at her Paris and understood her concern and reassured her that what he would gain is her skill in the link I wont beable to read information we share in the sense of 1+1=2 I would only have your skills for a brief moment I wouldn't even beable to understand what I was doing. I would only know what needs to be done. For example if someone broke a arm I would draw on you and know to put into a splint things that come natural to you. No knowledge really exchanges just the ablity. If you were stuck on a desert planet you could draw on me on how to find water. You dont gain knowledge per say just ablity to know what to do. Besides the future is never realy set it can change its like sand it all looks the same but it is differnt. I would never let anyone know what we share it is a private thing and I would never ask you about the future it would take the joy out of life. We will be family nothing more nothing less. Just be careful when you call on my ablity to heal yourself that will raise alot of questions its one of the those things star fleet medical would love to know. So only heal what you need leave the pyhsical appearnce alone if you can. Let that feel they way you would treat a injury. Remember your thoughts are always your owne I will never know them unless you tell me I will only know your mood and thats only if you share it with me. This is total control you will still be you. Its just if you ever need a hug you will call and I will send warm feelings back to you like a feeling of being hugged. Thats all you will every feel just a sensation of what we are will to share.
Pride removed a small vile from around his knew with the bluest water ever seen. he opened it and took just a little sip. He felt his soul open up he offered the vile to Paris only if you want to if not no hard feelings your secert will go with me into the next adventure. To lighten the mood he looked at her and told her just because you are from the future doesn't mean you cant enjoy life dont worry about the knowledge you have the future is a funny thing it has a way of changing you might find that things dont always go the way you remember them.
Pride waited for Paris to make a choice family what a wonderful thought I will have one at last I wont be alone no matter what she choose I will have a friend and a sister today is a good day
