The next morning, Polly woke up as she heard a muffled shriek. She sat up and saw TJ cowering on the bed, sitting up frozen in fear, his face having gone deadwhite. She followed his eyes and smiled when she noticed what he was looking at: a huge tarantula.
"Aah, you've met Randy I see," she smiled, carefully picking up the spider, carefully petting his large body. "He won't harm anyone, he's no longer poisonous. Cute, isn't he?" She held him up to TJ for him to admire, but if possible he turned even paler.
She removed the spider from his line of sight and went to deposit it back into its terrarium. "Im sorry he scared you Thomas," she said as she returned, "I didn't know he had escaped, and I certainly didn't know you don't like spiders. I'll try to keep him away from you, I promise."
She uncuffed him and proceeded to wipe the cold sweat from his brow. Then she injected him with the same shots as the previous day, knowing he'd not be able to escape even if he wanted to. Polly also noticed he kept eyeing the remote she was holding. "Ah so you want to grab it do you?" she told him, then held it out to him. "It's keyed to your DNA...if you touch it it'll be dangerous to you. Here, touch it briefly, you'll see and not want to have a go at it again."
When he hesitated she held it out to him. "Touch it," she told him.
After breakfast, Polly informed him that she had a few appointments, and she wanted to see how far they were from her mother's planet. "I am looking forward to seeing my mother again," she chattered happily." She smiled brightly as she removed the cuffs from TJ's wrists. "There is no use for these," she explained, "there's no way you can escape." She waved her hand holding the small remote. "So much as a single thought of escaping will bring you down to your knees. Even if I wanted to, there's nothing I can change about it. I'm very sorry for that, but I'm afraid you're confined here for now. Crying for help won't help you either, no-one can hear you remember?"
Polly motioned around her quarters. "You have limited use of the replicator, food and drink only and you can use my bed if you want to sleep." She grinned. "Or the couch if you prefer so, for now. Just ahh..leave my quarters in one piece will you? I don't want Randy to escape and frighten you, and he gets very agitated when he senses anger..."[/color]
Later on the bridge, she walked up to Cadet Mallen. "Miss Mallen, could you tell me our ETA? I want to beam down as soon as I can."
(Mallen)
Polly nodded politely at Mallen. "Thank you ma'am," she answered then went to find Youngblood. She looked frightened by the time she reached the security cadet, almost intimidated. "Sir, about my earlier accusation.....I may have been mistaken about Captain Edwards' motivations..." She knew her frightened appearance during the withdrawal of her accusation would raise suspicion in the cadet, which was exactly what she wanted. "Perhaps he was just trying to be friendly," she confessed, her face white with fear, her eyes wide as she glanced up at Youngblood.
(Youngblood)
Later, when Polly finally returned to her quarters, she beamed at TJ. "I have told this cadet Youngblood that I was mistaken about charging you with assault," she admitted, looking somewhat embarassed, and almost as though she were a little girl who knew she'd done something terribly wrong. "I'm very sorry for doing that to you Thomas," she added, looking genuinely contrite.

K'ratak: Sat in the command chair of the I.K.S. Gr'oth looking at the view screen. The image of the USS Hepta was coming into view. They were still running cloaked and hadn't been detected yet. Looking at his crew and knowing this was his last mission for awhile with his ship and crew.
K'ratak: Had received his orders to catch up with the Hepta and transfer aboard as part of the officer exchange program that federation and klingon empire had started. Looking around at his crew and feeling alittle out of sorts. They were a good crew loyal to the end they had fought many battles and brought great honor to them selves and to the empire. But he had grown tired of war, he was not scared of battle just tired of it. His father understood this and had pulled a few strings to get him into the program. He wanted to explore and live in peace for awhile with out having to worry if he would live through the day.
K'ratak: Communication officer had been keeping close tabs on the hepta and had kept him informed of the current problems aboard Hepta or at least the ones they knew about from the communications they intercepted. Looking around his bridge again for what seemed like the last time he looked up.
K'ratak: " Drop cloak hail the Hepta get me who ever is in charge and transmit my orders and star fleet orders informing them of my new station" his crew did as he command anything less and he would have killed them on the spot. That was going to have to change he knew that, cant kill officers in the federation. He knew that he was going to have to show alot of restraint when he beamed aboard the Hepta.
K'ratak: Stood up from his command chair his first officer had been promoted and given his command out of respect for K'ratak he allowed him to remain in command until they had reached the Hepta. Turning to face his former first officer "Commander Gr'ataka I stand relieved the Gr'oth is yours may she bring you honor and glory" with out saying another word he left the bridge and headed for the transport room waiting to beam aboard his new home.
OCC: Okay some one on the Hepta please beam over to my new home please

Alex found the ceiling not so bad. She was sitting upside down at that point, and could feel the blood rushing to her head. She sighed, and moved to lay on her back instead to see if that would help. It did somewhat, and she closed her eyes feeling very tired and very old, even though she wasn't.
Alex had almost drifted to sleep, when suddenly gravity came back as she found herself quickly tossed to the deck. She landed on her stomach, and felt like a ton of bricks had hit it. She lay gasping for air not even bothering to check to see if the rest of her is alright.
Josh had finally gotten his task done, and headed to the bridge to report to his superior. Little did he realize that it would be a cadet sitting alone at the science station.
"Ma'am, I have a report for you here about some analysis I was working on. Are you okay? You look a little lost," he said noticing she wasn't really busy.
(Alria)
"Perhaps I can help you in that. If this were a fleet ship instead of academy, you would be over me. As science, you help with analysis, and all that. We do our best to keep busy in science, and I bet they could use some help locating someone like your instructor. She would know better than I in how to guide you. Have you looked for her?" Josh said hoping she would try to search the ship.

K'ratak: Stood on the transporter pad what seemed like for ever. Looking over at his former transport chief. "Are there shields down" His transporter chief looked up at him and smiled or what passed as a smile for a klingon " Yes sir there shields are down" smiling back at his chief " Then beam onto there bridge I dont enjoy waiting" then next thing K'ratak knew he was on the bridge of the Hepta with a bunch of cadets looking at him.
K'Ratak: Looked around the bridge of the hepta trying to find a officer in charge, Standing there in his Klingon uniform he felt a little out of place but not wanting to look like a fool he walked over to the science station where a female cadet was working. Before she could say anything he asked his question " Who is currently in command of this vessel right now and why did you not respond to my hail"<Tag Mallen>

Cadet Youngblood was at the security post when the diplomat Polly O’Shaserra came to the security post.
Cadet Youngblood responded,” Perhaps I was jumping to my conclusions of the events that was taking place. The only thing I knew at the time was that the bridge had called me right after Commander Rezula disappeared. All the cadets and crew was disoriented and looking for direction. So my first duty was to provide safety for you. Then I was so nervous, and then my reaction was to take command of this ship for the safety of this ship and her crew. Cadet Youngblood thought to himself and was hoping she was forgiving as she was to apologizing. “I hope my explanation was helping to you so that you understood what I was going through.” After she left the bridge the cadet looked at his console.
(Polly)
“Security alert.” Cadet Youngblood called out. “A klingon vessel is on approach.” Shortly after he had said that he saw a Klingon Officer materialized on the bridge. Cadet Youngblood had a surprise look on his face. At that moment the cadet tapped his comm. Badge. “Commander Rezula you are needed on the bridge.”

K'ratak: Looked over in cadet Youngblood direction when he heard him call for Commander Rezula. Looking the Cadet in the eyes he was impressed for his part the cadet was doing his job and not showing any fear or doubt. K'ratak was thinking to himself that this cadet was worth something. At least he was doing something about his sudden arrival on the bridge. Looking at Cadet Youngblood
" Cadet Youngblood no one has answered my question yet and I dont like waiting. Why wasn't my Hail answered and who is in command right now? You should have recieaved my orders in my hail confirming my new assingment. Now will someone please answer my question before I loose my temper" <Tag Youngblood or any cadet who wishes to respond>

“Commander K'ratak Sir” “I must apologize for not responding to your hails, we been having problems here since we left the starbase.” “All the Senior Staff has disappeared since we left; only recently we found Commander Rezula and she has taken command of the ship until the rest of the senior staff has been found. The cadet was a little nervous and unsure of himself, this was the first time he had saw a Klingon up close. He was also not informed of his arrival.

Confused at Polly's apparent complete reversal in attitude, TJ was of course suspicious. He looked at her warily, not knowing quite what to expect.
He had tried earlier beating on the inside of the door to Polly's quarters, though the drugs she had given him had severely weakened his strength – no response. Perhaps if he simply was to rush the exit to her quarters as she left? His speed was unaffected by the drug. Maybe escape was possible that way.

K'Ratak: Looked at cadet Youngblood, thinking to himself the cadet is hiding his fear well. Looking around the bridge again at all the young faces and thinking to himself, was I ever this young. Then letting out a laugh and noticing all the cadets looking at him he stopped laughing . Looking around the bridge again and this time saying something loud enough for everybody to hear.
K'ratak: " Dont you all see the chance you have been given to prove your selves. If and when you past the test even thought it is real. There will never be a doubt in your mind if you are ready. To be challenged so early is a great risk but the reward for passing more then makes up for it. I know that you wish to have your instructor's hear to help but think about it. They will not be with you when you get to the fleet. You will have to use what you have learned the only difference between now and then is its now. Do not doubt you are well trained or you wouldn't be hear. Looking around at all the cadets on the bridge Mistakes will be made learn from them. Thats all the instructors were here for to fine tune you, to weed out those little mistakes you'd make. So its time to act and do the things you know."
Turning to face the crew "until Commander Rezula can take charge again I'm assuming command of the bridge not of the ship just the bridge under the rules of the treaty between the Klingon empire and the federation I can do this. Further more I want the science cadet and cadet youngblood in the captains ready room in 5 Min's to talk about how to find our missing crew members"
K'Ratak: Walked off the bridge to the Captains ready room he didn't take the captains seat in his mind that would have been rude. So he remained standing waiting for his cadets to report to him. <Tag youngblood and Mallen>

Cadet Youngblood was looking at the Commander when he laughed out loud. It felt a little strange to him seeing this kind of behavior on the bridge, although it did make me feel better. I thought we just needed a little distraction to help with all the tension on the bridge and throughout the ship. Cadet Youngblood watched as the Commander walked towards the Captain’s ready room. The Cadet followed him to the Captain’s ready room as the Commander sat down in the Captain’s chair. The Cadet spoke and said to the Commander Sir,” Cadet Youngblood reporting as ordered. Trying not to show his nervousness the cadet stood at attention waiting for him to speak.

K'ratak: Stood at the window when he heard cadet Youngblood enter the ready room. Turning to face the young cadet he tried not to laugh thinking that star fleet was always so formal. "Cadet Youngblood reporting as ordered." Looking the cadet in they eyes trying to get a better read on him. "At easy cadet I don't bite no matter what they might be telling you cadets about Klingon's"
K'ratak: Cadet youngblood stood at easy and looked him square in the eye's. Thinking to himself he like this cadet he might go far yet. Instead of waiting for the Mallen to show up he started with idea's. " Cadet I've read your statements and your reports some things I've noticed are your quick to action most of the time thats a good thing but sometimes you need to slow down.
Commander Rezula is right you need more information before you get higher ups involved. They tend to second guess because they are not here and with the limited information you have there course of action could be the wrong one. I'm not telling you did the wrong thing but sometimes you need to slow down and make sure the same questions your thinking about are the same one's you have answers for when asked. Now Enough said about that.
Cadet all your training as prepared you for this but sometimes I think we forget what we knew before we signed up before we joined. You have done everything by the book ran your searches done your scans and still you haven't found anything. This tells me your thinking to much like a star fleet officer which is good but right now we don't need a star fleet officers line of thinking. Whoever has done this knows alot how to do it and how to cover there tracks.
So I want you to start thinking like them, I want you to start going through your mind and think if you were going to do something like this how would you do it. How would you make sure they didn't show up in the scans what parts of the ship cant you scan where can you put the body's so they don't show up. I want you to stop thinking like a cop I believe the term is and start thinking like a criminal.
You are in charge of security you know all the inns and outs of the systems. So think how would you do this don't worry to much about figuring out who did it we'll work on that after you find the crew. Change your mind set think like them if they could figure it out then its only a question of time before you do.
When you leave my ready room I want you to go to your quarters I want you to sit in front your computer and plan go through the whole thing like they did. I'm sure after you have done that you start to get clues on where to search. I'm asking you to do this because you are for a better word a cop you know the system and you know how you have reacted with this knowledge. I think you can formulate a plan and maybe come up with a better search pattern.
Oh and cadet feel free to voice your idea's but remember you have to change the mind set. I think once you have done that we might start to get somewhere. Also I want to talk to this O'Shaserra girl have security escort her to the captains ready room. She seems to be the center of all this and I want to know who I"m going to dealing with if charges are going to be brought against anyone on this ship." <Tag Youngblood>

Polly walked up to her hostage, slowly turning him to face her. "You have nothing to say to me?" she asked, looking hurt as she gazed directly into his eyes. Of course, she didn't miss the suspiscion on his face but she pretended not to see it. "Please, will you forgive me?"
She took a few steps away from him and sat herself down on the comfortable sofa, patting the seat beside her. "Come sit with me Thomas," she pleaded, "please?" She fingered the remote control in the pocket of her tunic, pondering if she should make him come to her instead of on his own free will. The teenager decided against it, wanting to regain his trust this time. Yet her eyes flashed dangerously as she saw him hesitate.
"I told you you're free to walk around my quarters, use my replicator too. All you can't do is leave without my consent." She looked at him earnestly. "Not before we reach our destination, and I promise that I'll let you go when we do. And you know me well enough to know I always keep promises I make. Please don't make this harder on yourself than it needs to be...I hate to see you get hurt, or killed."

K'ratak: Watched as youngblood left, he was alone standing there thinking about what he had gotten himself into. Something like this never happened aboard his ship. Thats in the past I don't command a ship anymore I chose this. It seemed to him all he had done was trade one set of problems for another. Looking around the office he started to wonder what type of person the captain was.
K'ratak: Cursed himself for not being able to do more, there has to be something we are missing but what is it. He thought about the guest that was aboard ship there was something there but with out proof there was nothing he could do. He waited while youngblood went to summon O'Shaserra for him. Looking around the office thinking it was alittle much for him but it would do. He still hadn't sat down yet and wouldn't in his mind this was not his ship and it would be wrong to act like it was. He wouldn't sit in the captains seat that was reserved for the captain and the first officer which at this time he was neither. He went back to looking out the window until his next guest arrived.

Cadet Youngblood left the Captain’s ready room and also left the bridge. He got on the turbo lift and said to the computer “special guest quarters” He found himself walking down towards the teenager’s quarters. He approached the security officer outside her door standing guard. Cadet Youngblood rang her buzzer on her door. Moments later she appeared at the door. “Ma’am,” “I am sorry to disturb you but you have been requested by Commander K'ratak wants to see him in the Captain’s ready room. If you are ready to go this security officer will escort you to see him.”
(Polly O'Shaserra)
The cadet watched as the security officer escorted her towards the bridge. He then left and went to his own quarters. He sat in front of his computer screen and brought up the schematics of the USS Hepta. He then spoke and said “Computer Are there any blind spots aboard the ship that our scans can’t see.” He thought to himself that it will be a matter of time that his crew members will be found and that his next task was obvious that he had to prove that the Captain was innocent of the acquisitions that were bought to his attention. The Computer spoke and said “Yes there are several areas of the ship that aren’t detected.” “Being not detected I cannot tell you where those areas are.” Again he thought to himself. What are those areas? Who would know where they are? He went to find Commander Rezula she ought to be able to shed some light on this.

Polly was grateful for the fact that just as the cadet called at her door, TJ had briefly disappeared into the bathroom. "I will be with you shortly," she said, not inviting the cadet in, "I will need to change into something clean."
The teen grinned sheepishly, denoting the stains on her dress. Earlier she'd been trying to make a cake and she'd actually had some fun with TJ on doing that. They had ended throwing the flour at one another, actually laughing as they did so. "Got a bit too enthusiastic in my baking I fear," she excused herself, "I'll be with you in a minute I promise, just wait outside." She cast Youngblood an apologetic smile. "I value my privacy cadet."
She closed the door on him and his two security guards and indeed got herself changed. She peered into the bathroom, blushing lightly upon seeing her hostage half-dressed. "I'm going out for a bit, should be back soon." She caressed his cheek and kissed it lightly. "Mind the fort would you please? You're a dear Thomas, you really are. I promise good behaviour will be rewarded...and you know you can't escape, not even think about it, remember?"
Once her intentions were clear, she headed out, allowing the two security officers to escort her back to the readyroom. She paled when she noticed the Klingon, trembling violently. "A Klingon!" she breathed, backing into the two officers who had brought her to the bridge, "what's a Klingon doing on a training vessel?"

K'ratak: Looked away from the window when O'shaserra walked into the ready room. He grew angry when she tried to hide behind her security guards. "what's a Klingon doing on a training vessel?" it took allot of self control not to loose his temper. "Miss O'shaserra it is really none of your business what I'm doing on this ship. Further more there is no need to stand behind the security guards I'm sure they have better things to do then act as a wall for you". with one simple look the security guards left ready room and took positions outside the door
K'ratak: Looking back to O'shaserra " Now I don't bite unless provoked for the time being I'm in command until either the first officer is found or the captain at which point they will take command. " trying not to look to threating " The Federation has a officer exchange program so that both side can learn to work together alittle better. I'm the officer assigned this time the message's that left this ship stating that a captain had raped you got the attention of star fleet. They decided it would be best if a outsider was involved to determine what is going on here. I would think the daughter of a diplomat could understand this and not react so rudely but maybe I'm mistaken."
K'ratak: " What I need to know from you is exactly what happened? Where you were at when this occurred? What was the mood of the event? and when was the last time you saw the accused?" < Tag O'shaserra >
K'ratak: Waiting for her response he added another thought " As for what a Klingon is doing aboard a training vessel I would think a person of your standing would rate the flag ship. It would seem that star Fleet is worried about you namely your father. One last thing if you use the word Klingon again as some form of disgust I would take personal offense to this and believe me your father is not high enough in the federation to get away with insulting a Klingon from the house Mor'tok the current ruler of the Klingon empire. I have not insulted you I would expect the same"

The girl gave an uncertain smile when K'ratak assured her that he didn't bite unless sufficiently provoked and she was very certain she wouldn't want to be the one bitten either. She'd seen what Klingon bite wounds could turn out as, having seen them first-hand on her father after some Klingon female had taken a fancy to him. Sean had spent weeks in hospital, recovering from several infections, including sepsis.
"What I need to know from you is exactly what happened? Where you were at when this occurred? What was the mood of the event? and when was the last time you saw the accused?"
Polly sighed in dismay, and repeated the story exactly as she had told it to Youngblood. "The mood?" she asked, her voice still shaking, "it was friendly but he got more aggressive. And the last time I saw him was before he beamed out of his quarters, I wouldn't know where he went from there. I have no computer knowledge, not beyond any standard usage that is. But as I also explained to Cadet Youngblood, I may have been mistaken in the thought that he intended to assault me. I was very shaken when he came at me. Perhaps he was just trying to be friendly, I honestly don't know."
The girl's face had paled visibly at the 'memory', and she told of how she had yanked herself away from his grip as he had kissed her. Sickbay scans did show there had been his DNA on her lips, and her dress had been torn such that assault was a very viable option.
"As for what a Klingon is doing aboard a training vessel I would think a person of your standing would rate the flag ship. I have not insulted you I would expect the same"
If possible, Polly paled even further and involuntarily took a step away from him. "I apologize if I brought offense," she whispered, "ever since my father had a bad run-in with Klingons and was severely injured, I find I have trouble trusting your people. I will try to do better in the future, but please don't expect me to change just like that. Until my mother demanded my presence, after she walked out on is when I was eight, my father was all the family I had. And to have seen him mangled like that, almost slipping from me,..."
Her voice trailed off as her gaze flicked from K'ratak to Youngblood, and finally back to K'ratak. "I'm sorry," she continued, "you must think me a foolish and disturbed girl now. Both of you."

K'ratak: Watched Miss O'shaserra body language as she repeated her story. Looking at her facial expressions and her body movement. He listened intently as she retold her story word for word.
The mood?" she asked, her voice still shaking, "it was friendly but he got more aggressive.
K'ratak: Thought they were done when the girl who was sitting in front of him spoke up again but not as a child this time but as a adult."I apologize if I brought offense," she whispered, "ever since my father had a bad run-in with Klingons and was severely injured, I find I have trouble trusting your people. I will try to do better in the future, but please don't expect me to change just like that. Until my mother demanded my presence, after she walked out on is when I was eight, my father was all the family I had. And to have seen him mangled like that, almost slipping from me,..." "I'm sorry," she continued, "you must think me a foolish and disturbed girl now. Both of you."
K'ratak: Looked the girl in eyes he always like looking people in the eyes to get a read on them. then he spoke up with the soft voice possible for a Klingon. " Miss O'shaserra listen I'm not going to say I'm sorry for what happened to your father had the hands of some bad Klingon's, if I did that I would be going around the galaxy saying I'm sorry as well as every other race in the federation." Then he chuckled alittle " Well maybe not the Vulcan's I cant see them saying I'm sorry it would be alittle funny. Every race I don't care who they are have bad apples in them for that I'm sorry I wish it wasn't so. You have nothing to fear from me I'm not going to hurt you. As for being foolish or disturbed I don't believe that." pausing for a few seconds.
K'ratak: " I believe miss O'shaserra that there is more to you then you let people think. I think that you are capable of more if the need arises. I will get to the bottom of this, if what you say is true the captain will face charges. If its not then I will get to the Truth. Don't get me wrong Miss O'shaserra I'm not saying your lying but I don't believe anybody until there's proof. I would not believe the captain if he told me he didn't do it until I have proof. So until this issue is resolved I keep a open mind and form my conclusion on the evidence nothing else. Thats why star fleet sent me, as a outsider I have no loyalty to the captain or to you. I can look at the proof and be fair. So please try to understand until the captain is found and all the proof is presented they are just story's. Do you have any question for me?" <Tag O'shaserra>
K'ratak: Looked at the girl standing in front of him thinking there is more going on here. He still didn't trust the girl but then again he didn't trust anybody.

Personal Log:
I was on the bridge when all of a sudden a Klingon vessel uncloaked on approach towards us. Moments later a Klingon named Commander K'ratak materialized on the bridge. He told us that he was on an exchange officer on this mission. I was feeling a bit nervous because of this was the first time that this cadet saw a Klingon. From what this cadet heard about Klingons I was not use to this type of command. I checked with the computer and he checked out and took command of the bridge. After checking out his credentials I had explained to him about what was going on with the senior staff disappearing. I obeyed his order and brought to the ready room the diplomat Polly O'shaserra and was told to think of the way the person who was doing this. I found out from the computer that there are several areas of the ship that could not be detected by the scans and the computer could not tell me where these areas were. If the cadet only could talk to Commander Rezula maybe she could shed some light on the situation.

"I will be with you shortly," Polly said [to Youngblood], not inviting the cadet in, "I will need to change into something clean." From the quarter's lavatory TJ heard the exchange at the outer door. He listened with interest. This would take both speed and precise timing...Earlier, in an attempt to get his captor to relax her vigilance a bit, TJ had attempted his hand – rather sloppily – at baking with her. As a result, he was now attempting to clean himself up. He smiled briefly. Perhaps this would be his chance. Not just yet, but as she left herself from the quarters in which he was being kept prisoner. ”Aye, colleen, that I will,” he said to Polly as he finished dressing and then stood in the door of the lavatory.
He eyed the set-up, how the furniture was arranged, and the shortest possible route to the door, judging just when it would be best to break into a run...As Polly opened the door to her quarters, TJ sprinted after her towards the now open door. Unable to cry out, he gave all his energy to his speed.
If he could just make it through the doorway....

Before TJ reached the door however, the drugs as well as the results from the keyed sensors kicked in and TJ collapsed to the floor in agony.
On the bridge, the diplomat's daughter carefully considered K'ratak's words. "No questions at this time sir," Polly answered politely, "may I return to my quarters? I was baking myself a cake and I fear it might burn. Also, I am in need of some sleep. These events have really exhausted me."
She gazed up at the tall Klingon. "I hope you find Captain Edwards soon," she said sincerely, "I am looking forward to making amends, though I do want this situation investigated. A captain of his standing should not bother women unasked, or even touch them just like that."
When she returned to her quarters, she found her captive coiled up, moaning in agony. She helped him to his feet and gently guided him to the couch. There, she cradled his head in her lap and softly stroked the hair from his face. Beads of sweat had formed on his brow and with aid of her sleeve, she wiped it away. "You won't try again will you?" she asked softly, while caressing his cheek, "repeated attempts will kill you."
She gazed down on him, her expression earnest and concerned. "I don't want you dead Thomas," she whispered, "I love you."

K'ratak: watched and waited for O'shaserra response "No questions at this time sir," Polly answered politely, "may I return to my quarters? I was baking myself a cake and I fear it might burn. Also, I am in need of some sleep. These events have really exhausted me." nodding his head and trying to be polite " I'm sure these events have been quite trying for you, of course you may leave"
K'ratak: Was about to follow Miss O'shaserra out of the captain's ready room when she turned and looked him in the eye's when he heard her say something else "I hope you find Captain Edwards soon," she said sincerely, "I am looking forward to making amends, though I do want this situation investigated. A captain of his standing should not bother women unasked, or even touch them just like that." Looking back at her and watching her body language and here eye movement. " Miss O'shaserra I hope you are right and this is just a big misunderstanding on both your parts things like this can kill a career, if you should need anything else please do call and I will do my best to help you. Until the rest of the senior officer's are found I will be on the bridge watching things from up here have a good rest and please enjoy your cake"
K'ratak: Watched O'shaserra leave the ready room, there's was her first lie. He had to admit she was good played it up well there was little he could do about it. Star fleet would not accept gut feelings. His scans of her quarters only showed her and her pet nobody else but he would keep watch on her. Walking back to the captains computer on the desk he pulled a disk from his inner pocket.
K'ratak: Inserted the disk into the computer. " Computer upload all programs" the computer did as it was instructed. The computer chimed back letting him know it had done its job " Computer run program one and six until captain Edward's is found or I cancel program. Restrict all access to computers other than the bridge accept no command code's from any terminal unless it comes from the bridge. Also restrict transports use to bridge controls only, reroute all site to site transports to the bridge. The computer acknowledge him with the program that imperial intelligence had given him. Nothing would be able to break the program it was the lastest advancement from intelligence's.
K'ratak: Was about to exit the ready room when he thought about something else " Computer how long to set up a damping field through out the ship to block all signals from remote device's. Thinking to himself it was better to be safe then sorry who ever had done these things might have more tricks up there sleeve. The computer chimed back to inform him it would take 3hrs to do so. "Computer as soon as you can set up damping fields through out the ship every room including personal quarters" paused for a few seconds " Computer allow usage from any station to cadet Youngblood" That being done its time to check on the bridge.
K'ratak: Walked out onto the bridge and headed for the first officer's seat, he still thought it rude to sit in the captains chair's this was not his command he had left his ship and his chair to accept his new role whatever that might be. Sitting down he started to call for status reports from all stations. <Tag anybody on the bridge who wants to chime in>

Cadet Youngblood couldn’t sleep. He was on the computer most of the evening and was pleased with what he came up with. He couldn’t wait till morning to see Commander K'ratak. The cadet grabs a quick bite to eat. After he ate he took a quick sonic shower got dress and left his quarters. As the cadet went up to the bridge he passed the diplomat’s door as he went by hit he heard a strange noise coming from within. The cadet decided to investigate further and went to the door and knocked he did knock a couple of times but didn’t get a response so he left and went to the bridge. He arrived on the turbo lift and told the computer “bridge”. What seemed a quite a while but only seconds he was on the bridge. “Commander K'ratak” said the cadet with bit of excitement in his voice. “Sir,” “If I may speak with you in private.”
(Commander K’ratak)
The cadet waited for his response and followed him to his ready room. “If I may speak sir” said the cadet with excitement in his voice. “After we talked earlier, I did what you said and thought what a criminal would do. I found out that there are places aboard the ship that the scans could not detect. I also ran some more tests and found out that there is something blocking the scan but I cannot find out what it was. I went by the diplomat Polly O'shaserra quarters and heard some strange noises coming from her quarters. I went to the door and knocked at her door, but I didn’t get a response. So I left the area and came up here to tell you my findings.
(Commander K’ratak)

K'ratak: Was sitting in the first Officer chair when he heard Cadet youngblood exit the turbo lift. He looked over at the cadet he was excited about something that was for sure he waited until the cadet was ready to talk to him.
“Commander K'ratak” said the cadet with bit of excitement in his voice. “Sir,” “If I may speak with you in private.” K'ratak: Nodded his head and got up from his postion and headed for the captain ready room. He entered first followed by cadet youngblood, What ever it was the cadet seemed ready to give a report. Hoping to him self that it would be something useful and not a waste of his time.
K'ratak: Looked at cadet youngblood and smiled, " You did good Mr. Youngblood very good indeed. For the moment I want you to put your efforts into finding our missing staff okay." pausing for a few secounds " As for the noise's your heard from miss O'shaserra quarters I want you to leave that issue alone. Its not that I dont think you can handle Miss O'shaserra but she's got alot of pull with star fleet because of her father. Right now all you have heard is noise and that can be chalked up to anything. She could be doing anything in her quarters and if you are wrong. What she could do to you could hurt your career I will handle Miss O'shaserra she has now power over me and no pull with the Klingon empire."
K'Ratak: Looked the cadet in the eye's noticing he didn't flinch and looked staight back at him. Thinking to himself he's going to make a good officer. He's learned when to put star fleet thinking on the back burner and apporach a problem with a differn't mind set. " Cadet for the moment find our missing officer's if you come across the captain escort him to the bridge. Do not allow him to do anything else. The charges against him still stand until we get to the bottom of this. Just remember he is a captain I expect him to be treated as such until this issue is resolved okay. Remember dont mess with Miss O'shaserra alright leave that to me if you find anything else out report to me directly." <Tag Youngblood>
K'ratak: Watched as the young cadet left the ready room. It would seem this is going be a very intersting day after all. Standing in the ready room a thought occured to him but he had to be very careful. " Computer I know you can't give me access to the captains log but can you tell the time it was last updated and where it was it was updated at." The computer took a few secounds to proscess his request. " the computer responded " The captain last updated his log yesterday as for the location unknown." This was odd indeed why wouldn't wouldn't it tell him where. "Computer why cant you tell me where it was updated at" waiting for a response " The information is being blocked by a unknown program" this is getting wierd. "Computer use program 8 to break block estimate time to break block" few secounds went by " It will take 24hrs to break the block" alright then " Computer inform me when you break block"

Somewhat later, after TJ seemed to have recovered enough to start glowering at her again, Polly started realizing she couldn't keep him in her quarters forever, and that drugging him might eventually even kill him.
"I have a proposal for you," she started, forcing him gently to look up at her, "I am going to release you, but you can't tell anyone where you 've been. If they ask about your disappearance tell them you needed time on your own without being disturbed."
(TJ)
She watched as TJ merely gawked at her. "Well? What are you waiting for," she said, pointing at the door, "I said you're free to go. I will still hold power over you with this remote control, and I know when you'll be talking about this. It works automatically, and I want for you not to talk about this. Do it at your own risk Thomas."
Polly got up from the couch and turned her back on TJ, wondering what he'd do now. He was free to leave, but also quite free now to physically attack her. And for what she'd done to him, and the pain he suffered at her hands she couldn't really blame him if he did.
When she turned to face him again, she just saw a blur coming at her and before she knew it he had his hands around her throat. She screamed in surprise as she fell and landed on her back. Immediately the two security officers that had been assigned to her for her own safety rushed into her quarters with their phasers drawn.
Upon seeing their charge being attacked they hauled her assaillant to his feet, both of them startled to see their commanding officer in such a position. Crewman Jones held TJ immobile, his arms locked behind his back while Ensign Nessa helped Polly to her feet. "Are you all right ma'am?"
Polly locked gazes with TJ, then glanced at Nessa. "Call Cadet Youngblood," she told the officer, "I want this investigated. I want to know how he could beam into my quarters and assault me. Perhaps I was not so mistaken about the earlier assault claim I lay before this cadet as he has just proven he's perfectly capable of attacking a woman."
She gazed at TJ again. "I just want an investigation, there's no need to confine him to the brig. I want to know what motivates a captain of high standard to disappear, and then re-appear and attack his guest. I am offended."
