Robert looks up when he sees 2 people enter 1 a commander and the other an ensign who looks like shes been through hell and hasn't come back yet. Robert notices that the commander is caring something wrapped up in a towel. As Caskie takes the ensign into another room and the commander goes over to intensive sensor console and takes something out that happens to be a doll and places it on the intensive sensor console.
Commander is that what's causing everything thats going on. The Commander replys I'm not sure.
As the commander scans the doll Sharp notices the readings are the same as the monsters that have been attacking the crew.
=^=Sharp to security report to sickbay=^=
Sharp pulls out his phaser and sets it to maximum.
Commander move.
As the Commander ducks out of the way Sharp fires at the doll and it disappears and a few seconds later the doll reapears.

Leo opened his desk drawer and, gleefully, found a medical tricorder sitting there looking up at him. He took it in his hand and set it to scan for neural impassivity and possible neural shut down. Then, he promptly scanned himself. A few moments later, he input the results on his computer console.
He was perfectly healthy.
A look of pure consternation with a hint of frustration contorted his face.
The door to the office chimed and, after peeling himself off the ceiling, Leo responded.
“Come?” Commander Blacard’s invitation of entry could not have been received better if Linda had been chased to the door of the counselor’s office by Jack the Ripper, as the little horror from which she fled had the normally professional ensign at the point of hysterics. As the door hissed open, she quickly darted inside, breathing a sigh of relief, as if the door of Commander Blacard’s office somehow shut out the doll. She leaned back against the door for a few seconds, closing her eyes, before she spoke.
“Doctor Blacard,” she began, “you have to help. I can’t get rid of it ... it won’t leave me alone! It just keeps taunting me, over and over again!”
“Hey, take it easy. Pull yourself together. What keeps taunting you? What can’t you get rid of? If I’m going to help you, you’ll have to focus.”
Linda buried her face in her hands, wanting to cry, but the tears wouldn’t come; Doctor Blacard, in response, guided her to a chair across from his desk, and invited her to tell him the problem from the beginning.
She relayed to him how Captain Edwards had come to the Science lab with her Uncle Adelai’s gift to her, and how she had taken it to her quarters after her shift, and then opened it, revealing the hideous doll. She related with embarrassment how the doll had already two or three times changed expression, seemingly in response to outside stimuli, and how it exuded a feeling of dread... a presence of evil.
“... And I’ve tried repeatedly to dispose of the little beast,” Linda cried, “yet each time I do, it somehow comes back. I’ve even tried to jettison it into space, but when I woke up afterwards, I found it in my quarters again.”
Finally, Linda found the tears in her, and as they began to well up in her eyes, she looked straight at Commander Blacard saying, “Please, doctor... help me – get that monstrosity away from me!” [Polly] felt TJ's arm slip around her waist, pressing her head against his shoulder to shield her from the horror.
... She sobbed quietly against his shoulder, and the figure turned it's back on them, gliding the opposite way, ... striking down officers and other crew as it passed. TJ couldn’t understand it. His personal ... distaste... for Polly was somehow whisked aside – at least for the moment – and he found himself geared to defend her from the wraith that was before them.
Dangerous? Yes. But it was a cinch, given Polly’s terrified response – which TJ could feel also in the pit of his own stomach – that she would be unable to protect herself.
He could not run. The thing had taken down several crewmembers already, and in TJ’s eyes, the loss of even one was one too many. TJ didn’t feel brave, but he felt the need to do something. Two... three times he fired, but it seemed to have no effect whatsoever on the ghostly presence. This shot had to be good. If it didn’t disperse the creature, not only would Polly possibly fall victim to the thing, but he himself might find the end of his career at the stroke of the wraith’s sword. Again, the phaser blast had no effect, traveling harmlessly through whatever this thing was.
Shoving Polly away from the blade, he made a valiant effort to dive out of the way of the deadly arc, but did not have enough speed. The spectre’s blade found its mark, and TJ sank to the deck. He looked up into her face. The one thing that struck him as he lay there was the concern that showed so clearly on her features, and he found himself thinking that perhaps Polly may have changed, at least somewhat, after all. He opened his mouth, but the words came with great difficulty of speech.
“Are ye... okay, Polly?”
She nodded affirmatively.
“’Tis just ... a wee bit ... too slow I was, colleen.”
His face contorted as for the first time he felt the searing pain of the wound he had received. TJ looked up into her face, then closed his eyes... Tired... Hurting...
Rest... Need rest...

Leo ducked out of the way with speed and alacrity he had been unaware that he possessed. He turned back to see the doll reappear and knew that something bad was about to happen. Unfortunately, he was right.
A low rumbling started outside sickbay and seemed to come roaming toward the door. Leo looked at the doll and noticed it's hideous expression had changed into the most maniacal smile he'd ever seen. Something large was tearing it's way toward sickbay.
"Computer, seal sickbay doors!" he ordered immediately.
Only a few seconds later something very large slammed into the door, hard. Leo looked at Cadet Sharp, then back at the door as another mighty blow fell on the rather fragile doors. Cadet Sharp made to fire his phaser at the doll once more and Leo tapped the phaser down.
"No, it'll only make things worse," he said, "We've got to figure this puzzle out without firearms. See what you can do to shore up that door and get more security personnel to the outside corridor."
<Tag Sharp>
Leo turned back to the beastily doll and considered. He then turned on Ms. Parker, who was still being scanned. He glided up next to her and tried to look pleasant ... which was rather difficult when you fully expect a Rancor beast to barge into the room in which you reside at any moment. He smiled.
"Ms Parker, how did you manage to recieve that ... item? I am fairly sure you didn't make it ... did you find it?" he asked plainly.
<Tag Parker>
"I see ... so ... she gave it to you ... of her own free will?" Leo asked with his hand on his chin in a rather thoughtful pose ... all that was missing was the pipe.
The young woman nodded meaningfully.
"I have an idea ... " Leo said finally, "I want you to give the doll to me."
<Tag Parker>
"It'll be alright, I'll cover it again and you can just hand it to me ... as one would present a gift," Leo replied in an attempt to soothe her fears while at the same time trying not to think about what would happen once this little demon was in his possession.
On his way back to the sensor hood he managed to get over by the young medical cadet that was busy trying not to look at the door and review her scanner findings at the same time. She looked like stress was something she could tolerate ... which spoke volumes to Leo.
"What have we got?" he asked sidling up next to her and looking over the scanner results, "This can't be right ... those are the most unusual noraphinefren levels I have ever seen. It's as though she's sleeping awake. Look there, her frontal lobe is more active than it should be. No wonder she's so jittery ... if these readings are correct she hasn't actually slept in days."
<Tag Caskie>
He turned back to the sensor hood and bundled up the doll once more. He then brought the bulky little parcel back to where Ms Parker stood watching him intently. He handed the doll to her and she took it gingerly.

“Ms Parker, how did you manage to receive that ... item? I am fairly sure you didn't make it ... did you find it?” he asked plainly. Once again, Linda related how she had received the package wrapped in brown paper with black string from her Uncle Adelai. How the uncle, according to the captain, had arrived at starbase too late to give her the horrid little “bon voyage” gift, and had handed it over to the captain with instructions to get it to his niece. Once the doll was unwrapped, the ship’s nightmares had begun. She, however, saw no connection between the doll and the invading entities. At this, Linda’s eyes widened in horror at the thought. The last thing she wanted was to touch that doll again. The words backed up in her throat, and at first she couldn’t speak for the fear she was feeling. All she could do was to shake her head, then finally, she found her voice again.
“No... you can’t mean that!” This she spoke more of amazement than of desire. She desperately wanted someone to take the doll from her; she just couldn’t understand his willingness to do so. As Dr. Blacard handed the parcel to Linda, she hesitated at first, then took the bundle from him. Anxious to comply, she extended it again towards him, saying, “Here, doctor... a present for you.” On Deck 14, Cadet Joseph Myers was trembling, trapped in a corner. He was too terrified to scream. A twenty-foot reptile was slowly drawing closer for the kill. At last in range, the beast drew in breath, preparing to incinerate the cadet, but as it did so... it slowly vanished, leaving the young man trembling.
Outside of Ten Forward, the same wraith that had taken several lives – and perhaps even the captain’s – faded even more, and in a matter of seconds, was seen no more.
On Deck Three, a Bengal tiger, which had been stalking Lieutenant Anne Jefferson, suddenly roared and sprang. Startled, the lieutenant turned toward the sound, saw the big cat beginning its pounce, opened her mouth to scream, and watched the tiger fade from existence in mid-air.
Everywhere... throughout the entire ship... the invaders vanished, while in Sickbay, an exhausted ensign collapsed to the deck, finally asleep – peacefully.

science lab back post
(sense the xo put me in 2 different places i came up with a neat idea)
As everyone is going over readings on the consoles in the science lab not knowing that the entity thats haunting the ship has disguised itself as one of the crewman.
Ensign Jack Wilton enters the science lab and hands sometyhing to the major. Before the major can take the object from the Ensign. Robert pulls out his phaser and shoots the ensign. Everyone in the lab are shocked and pull out their phasers and fires at the Cadet and nothing happenns and the the Cadet takes everyone out and then leaves.
A few minutes later Commander Cole enters the science lab.

The group headed toward the nearest Jefferies tube .. To be honest, none of them thought it wise to split up, the 'strength in numbers' maxim seemed more than apt, in the situation .. But there simply wasn't the time for them to cover the ground in a group .. Commander Ford was right, he needed access to the labs, if there was any possibility he could find anything to help, it may well be there !
So, They decided to split up .. Ford would head to the lab, while Seijitsu would head upward .. As Ford had pointed out, whatever the thing was, it was now above them ..
He tapped his Comms badge ..
=^= Commander Seijitsu to the Captain ..... =^=
Frowning, he tried again ..
=^= Seijitsu to Commander Nikmud ..... =^=
The Comms seemed to be failing all over the ship ..
"I've tried several people myself." said Ford, "No-ones answering."
"No ... But that doesn't mean there isn't anyone 'to' answer .. You get to the lab .. I'll take two security with me and head up to the next deck."
"OK .. If you see .. Anything .. Be careful." said Ford, heading away ..
Seijitsu nodded. Then motioning for the two remaining Security Officers to follow him .. He entered the Jefferies tube .. And began to climb ..........

No offense intended, but the story is getting rather complicated. Sejitsu, Ford and I are chasing "something" through the ship, climbing to the higher decks through the Jeffries tube when all of a sudden we're supposed to be back in a Science lab. Ensign Wilton is supposed to bring something into the Science lab where people are already studying what he is bringing in. Then a Cadet comes in and prevents Ensign Wilton from handing us whatever it is we're already studying and starts a shoot-out. Again, no offense, but I really think we should mind each other's posts and continue in the story line that has already been posted.
I'll continue the Sejitsu/Ford/Löhnen story line since that one has been most elaborately posted and I'll try to put the other pieces together in one post.
Danny hated the Jeffries tubes. He wasn't claustrophobic, but he wasn't comfortable in that tight spot all the same. The readings were still off the scale. It was hard to trace the "thing" now, since the readings were so high that it didn't make a difference in which direction they held the tricorder. Suddenly, something caught their eyesight. It vanished just around the corner. Danny cursed silently. It was bad enough that strange things were happening on the ship, but it was even worse that they were about to happen in one of the tightest nooks of the entire ship.
Luckily, the others seemed to have thought the same. "We need to get the hell out of the tubes," Sejitsu said, the strain in his voice clearly audible. Danny nodded in agreement, not trusting his own voice at present enough to speak. Ford pushed the nearest hatch and they came out of the Jeffries tube just in time to see a yellow glow vanishing around the corner. "There!" yelled Ford, "After it!"
The three of them followed the whatever it was around the corner. It moved at full speed towards a wall. There was a hiss and it was gone. The wall was singed and smelled horibly, but otherwise there was no trace of the phenomenon. Ford took a sample of the singed wall and the three of them went to the nearest Science Lab to analyse it.
They had only been studying the shards of wall when Ensign Wilton, one of the junior Science officers entered, carrying what looked like a containment container with some additional shards of burned wall, still glowing yellow.
The officers looked up. Ensign Wilton moved over towards the Science consoles, but before he reached them, a Security Cadet entered and opened fire immediately. All hell broke loose, but luckily the Cadet didn't wait to see whether his victims were dead.
The doors hissed close behind the shooter. Sejitsu tapped his comm badge.
=^=Security alert. Whatever is hunting us now takes the form of Cadet Sharp. Proceed with extreme caution=^=
The three senior officers and Ensign Wilton looked at each other, bewildered. After a while, they went back to their analysis of the strange findings.

Warily, Polly eyed the approaching security cadet, waving him over to take a seat. "I know an enquiry is protocol," she sighed, her eyes brimming with tears she'd been fighting to hold back. "Fire away Mister Sharp, what do you want to know?"
(Sharp...ask anything you please about the situation)
Occasionally, Polly glanced sideways at the unconscious and heavily battered form of her husband. His face was as white as a clean bedsheet and his tattered uniform was hanging over the foot-end of the bed, having been replaced by the blue-striped sickbay-attire. Nurses were darting to and fro, attending to their fallen captain.
Eventually, Polly was sick of it. She yanked the damp cloth from the nurse's hand. "I'll do that thank you!" she snapped, taking other items to tend to TJ from her as well. "He's my husband, I'll take care of him as I promised him I would." She saw Sharp's surprised reaction to that, but she paid that no heed.
(Sharp, take it as you will)

As Polly explains everything to the Cadet. The Cadet notices that Commander Blacard is talking to Ensign Parker.

"Hmmm.... how odd," muttered Ford. "Danny, come here and take a look at this. The physical structure of the wall has been altered at a subatomic level. I can't believe how this could have happened. The sheer amount of difficulty involved in computing incredibly high-level mathematics and applying them in real-life scenarios is daunting, to say the least. I also am unfamiliar with some of the attributes this thing possesses. It seems to be shifting mass, volume, and density without external stimuli. Only living things do that, but this is clearly non-living matter. I don't care what anyone says, this can not be alive. Perhaps we might be encountering some form of life which exists outside our dimensional plain and is phasing into it, but the odds of that happening are so astronomically high I'm not sure there's a real number to express such an insane improbability."
"What do you think it is, then?" asked Seijitsu.
William shrugged. "I'd have to say that due to its existance solely inside the ship, as far as I can tell, we must have passed through a spacial anomaly which no one else has ever encountered before. I know it isn't likely, given our position so close to a major Starbase, but it helps explain what's happening. I think that we are percieving the anomaly as what we think it is based upon the damage it creates."
"So this is a psychological phenomenon as much as a physical danger," clarified Danny.
"Yes," agreed William. "For example, if someone sees a tiger rip apart their friend, this anomaly might be causing... I don't know, a heart attack and a bloody nose. The person watching their friend will see the tiger as an explanation of what is happening to their companion. I would need to run a lot of experiments to be sure that is possibile, but theoretically..." he shrugged again. "I don't have much to work with. But I can hazard a guess that this thing is limited to the Hepta, was brought on board just before or shortly after we left Conqueror, and is not going to go away very soon. My advice is that we remotely send out our shuttles, open their doors and let all the air and anything coming along for the ride out into space, close the doors, repressurize the shuttles and put the air back in, beam people over, and leave the Hepta with a warning to all ships to stay away from it until science teams can examine it."
"There are not enough shuttles for a full evacuation," said Danny quietly.
"I know," said William. "But unless this thing leaves really quickly, there might not be anyone left to use the shuttles. One constant in this thing's changing of properties is this - it is growing."

Leo looked at the ghoulish thing and then up at Cadet Sharp.
"I have no idea ... I sure as hell have no desire to sleep near it though," he replied and he turned about in shock when whatever was trying to barge its way into sickbay stopped ramming the door. In fact, the door appeared to be as good as new. Leo squinted at the door, as though it would somehow make more sense from that perspective and he then looked at the doll. He squinted again ... just so he wouldn't have to really see the damned thing.
It was a horrific thing, made more so by it's current expression of what appeared to be malignant glee.
"Computer, open sickbay doors," he said, as a theory started cooking in his head.
The security cadet made a face and attempted to protest, but Leo waved him off and made for the doors. They slid open ...
And nothing was there, no monster, no rancor, just ... an empty corridor.
Leo looked down the corridor to the left and felt something brush by this head. It embedded itself in the wall before his eyes and he saw, in magnificient detail, a spear of biblical proportions ... with feathers and all. He had seen that kind of spear before ... in a history book from his youth and although he dredded what he might see, he turned his head.
There stood an amazingly tall, ravishingly beautiful, and nearly naked women with blonde hair, blue eyes, and another spear aimed at his head.
"Ah, for the love of ... it's a bloody Amazon!" he yelled as he ducked back into sickbay and another spear came whirling through the air, "Hide me ... someone hide me!"
He threw the doll across the room and ducked behind a bio bed ... almost hissing in the direction of the doll.
"What a horrible, despicable, monsterous, little doll!" he said aloud, "That's what it does! It makes nightmares come true! And now it's brought an amazon to hunt me down!"

He had been climbing, along with the Security Officer, for only moments. He heard a shout from below ...
"Commander .. Commander Seijitsu."
He looked down, stretching to see past the Officer on the ladder below him ..
"Sir." the Ensign continued, "Message from the labs .. Commander Blacard has found the doll."
"Doll ..." Seijitsu said, confused, "What doll ?" though is was beginning to fall into place.
"Sir .. I've no idea sorry .. I was just told to get the message to you, and to find out if you were coming back down or continuing on to the Bridge."
"OK .. Then let everyone know we will be heading for the Bridge .. Try to find out what's happening with the Comms too .. Word of mouth communication isn't going to be fast enough or practical in our current situation."
"Yes Sir .. I'll get the message to the lab .. Comms seem to be coming back though .. The lower three decks are up and there's partial comms as you get higher."
Seijitsu let go of the rung in front of him and tapped his Comms badge ..
=^= Seijitsu to Bridge =^=
He waited, but there was only static .. It seemed that the repairs hadn't got this far .. But he did wonder why things were coming on so slowly ...
=^= Seijitsu to Engineering =^=
=^= Engin ......... ir ...... We are ha ....... go to th ....... =^=
It was breaking up too much .. There was no way he could understand the message. He shouted down to the Ensign to get back to the lab and he would move on .. He wondered what he would find once he, and the Security Officer reached the Bridge ..........

Mrs. Edwards I need you to tell me everything that happened with the Captain? "Please call me Polly, I'm not that much older than you are, I think." Polly tried to offer the cadet a genuine smile but it wasn't working very well. Her concern for the captain, however, was genuine and she kept dapping his face with the damp cloth and cleaning off the blood from his hands and face. "We were outside commander Nikmud's office when this wraith appeared..." She fell silent, forcing herself to remember someting she terribly wanted to forget. "It was huge, with green glowing eyes and we could see partially through it. It hewed down crewmembers left and right with just the one swing, and then..." Tears started flowing down her cheeks as she looked away. "It was moving away from us when Thomas started yelling at it to leave us alone, leave the crew alone that is. It came back....I pleaded with him to come and run away but he stood he ground. He dove for a fallen phaser and shot at it several times, to no avail." She broke down in sobs. "He was trying to defend me," she sobbed, "he shouldn't have done that. He should've run like I told him to." Polly looked up at her husband. "My brave Thomas," she whispered, "oh I'm so sorry..please, get better. please." (Sharp)

Robert intructs everyone to remain in sickbay as he heads out of sickbasy to head for the bridge. As robert heads for the turbolift a siberian tiger starts to head towards him as he ebters the turbolift bridge. the turbolift takes him to the bridge.
As robert enters the bridge from the turbolift the ship rocks and the officer in charge of the bridge is thrown and hits his head on the conn.
Robert looks and sees a scared bridge crew. All of a sudden everyone on the bridge hears -^- we are the borg resistence is futile you and your technological will be assimulated-^-
Roberts response is damit we don't need this we have enough promblems as it is.
Helm get us the hell out of here now.
Tatical fire at will and send out a distress call.

The Bridge was a mess. Alarms were wailing, orders were being yelled across the room and the panic was nearly complete. Commander Seijitsu and Danny pushed away the last bulkhead covering the Jeffries Tube and looked at the chaos, for a moment too amazed to speak. Then Commander Seijitsu crawled out of the Jeffries Tube, brushed some dust of his uniform and yelled: "SILENCE!!! Everyone SHUT UP!!! Man your stations and give me status reports in a calm and orderly way."
Danny had climbed out of the Jeffries Tube by now too. Luckily, the Bridge crew were calming down abit. He looked around. "Somebody shut off that damn alarm!" he ordered firmly as he strode over to his Operations Console. Being the most senior officer on the Bridge at present, Commander Seijitsu took his seat in the Captain's chair and assumed command of whatever situation they were facing. "Mr Sharp," Commander Seijiitsu said, turning around slightly to face the Tactical Console, "I'm going to need a status update."
<TAG: Sharp, status report if you please. When the present situation on the Bridge is over, your presence is needed in Sickbay for the investigation into the strange occurences and the involvement of the doll in them.>

It had been two or three hours since he had been brought to Sickbay. Slowly, TJ stirred in the biobed, groaning lightly.
“Welcome back to the land of the living, Captain,” said an aide who was standing by him reading the monitors.
“An’ are ye sure you’re tellin’ me no tales in sayin’ I’m back t’ th’ land o’ th’ living?” The Irishman winced at the fiery pain from his wounds, and the aide would not comment again, but continued reading and recording the figures on the monitor before moving on to the next patient.
To the side on a roll-away cot was Ensign Parker, as the doctor preferred to keep her under surveillance due to the pressure her system had been under. Slowly, she, too, opened her eyes, lying there in thought, something she’d not been able to do for several days.
He had thought he remembered Commander Blacard taking possession of the doll earlier, and had heard reports coming over comm badges about the tigers, the wraiths, the dragon, and many other such “invaders” fading away within seconds after he had seen Dr. Blacard take possession of the doll. He wondered if there might be some connection, then dismissed the idea as being too mystical.
Linda had been wondering as well. When she heard the report of the tiger – and following it, of the dragon – dissipating into the air, it struck her that she had earlier been dreaming of being chased by a tiger while on safari in India, and later had made an offhanded comment about her fear of dragons just before one had attacked her.
“Captain,” she asked.
TJ looked in her direction, though he said nothing, and she told him of her thoughts, that perhaps something was taking these dreams... these fears... and somehow giving them reality.
“An’ ‘tis somethin’ else I’m noticin’ too,” TJ added. “’Twas not more than a moment after ye gave th’ doll t’ Commander Blacard that reports started comin’ in that th’ beasties started disappearin’ – at least, I’m thinkin’ it was then.” He could not be totally certain. He had been drifting for the past 30 minutes on the verge of consciousness, yet never quite reaching it until a few moments ago.
Security Cadet Sharp, entering Sickbay at TJ's words, stopped and his expression changed; it was as if a light had suddenly turned on inside of him as he looked at the doll in Commander Blacard's possession.

Cadet Sharp is at tatical when Commander Seijitsu asks for a status report. Sir the Borg are attacking and I was about to fire a few photon torpedoes at them.
Commander Seijitsu orders fire.
Cadet Sharp opens fire at the Borg cube and nothing happens when the torpedoes hit the cube. Sharp damit nothing happened to the borg ship.
Wait a second sir after a complete scan we are getting the same readings that's been affecting the ship. Sir permision to leave the bridge. Theres a doll in sickbay thats causing this. I belive whoever has possesion of this doll it brings out their worse fear. I need to get the ship's counslor to give it to me.
Seijitsu permision granted.
Sharp enters the turbolift. "sickbay"
Sickbay
A few minutes later Cadet Sharp enters sickbay and notices that the Capatain is awake. The Cadet moves towards the Captain
Sir it's the doll whoever has possesion of it. iT brings out the worst fears of that person.

Polly, who had never left her husband's side despite the nurse's insistences, watched the conversation between TJ and Linda Parker with growing horror. She stepped around the bed and glanced down in sympathy at the young ensign. "At least you can sleep now," she said gently, "for you, the horror is over. However for Doctor Blacard it may only be just starting."
She glanced up at Sharp, who was a good several inches taller than she as she stood only 168 centimeters tall. " Sir it's the doll whoever has possesion of it. It brings out the worst fears of that person." Sharp spoke directing his words at TJ.
"I fear to ask what Doctor Blacards worst fear might be," Polly commented, sitting down at the foot of TJ's bed, nervously reaching for her husband's hand. "Do you have any thoughts on how to get rid of it? Miss Parker her has tried several ways but it kept returning to her."
Her own worst fear coming to mind, she glanced sideways at TJ. "Thomas please tell me you're not intending on taking possession of this doll? Promise me you won't...for your worst fear might do us all in. You have your crew to think about." Polly directed her gaze back up at the young cadet. "You could order him," she pointed out, "as security chief, where security is concerned your word is law."

As he climbed out of the Jefferies tube onto the Bridge itself, he saw what could only be described as pandemonium ... Everyone was shouting, pointing at this, that, each other .. He watched for almost five seconds, taking the scene in, then spoke ..
"Silence ... Silence ..." it simply wasn't working, "SHUT..UP !!!"
All sound on the Bridge ceased instantly .. Seijitsu wasn't used to having to raise his voice, and he was less than happy about having to do so. He walked across to the Command area, then sat in the Captains chair ..
"Now ..." he continued, in his usual quiet tone, "Man your positions and report status in an orderly manner."
He listened as each department give a brief report of their status .. Turning to Cadet Sharp, Seijitsu noticed he was almost shaking, gawking at the View-screen as if it were alive ..
"Mr Sharp." he began, "I'm going to need tha ....."
He never finished the sentence, Sharp started to shout about dolls, sickbay, the Captain .. All the time arming and firing both phasers and photon torpedo's .. Major Lohnan had moved to his console, trying to verify sharps readings ...
"Its the doll .. Sic .. Take it fro .." Sharp was muttering .. then, "Sir .. Permission to leave the bridge .. Theres a doll in sickbay thats causing this .. I believe whoever has possession of this doll it brings out their worse fear .. I need to get the ship's councellor to give it to me."
"Permission granted." Seijitsu said without hesitation, Sharp was totally convinced of what he said, and needed to be given free reign to check his conviction out .. Robert almost sprinted for the turbo-lift, diving in almost before the doors had moved .. Lohnan came over and sat next to Seijitsu, speaking quietly ..
"There was nothing there .. I don't know what he 'thought' he saw .. But we didn't." Danny said.
"It's something to do with a 'Doll' ..." Seijitsu said, frowning, "It's influencing whosoever has possession of it .. That would explain the Tigers etc .." he said, turning to face Danny, "Can you run a full sensor sweep .. See if theres anything at all within range .. And if so have Helm move us away .. The last thing I or the Captain needs is for a second ship to get 'infected' .."
"Aye .." said Danny, getting up from the Exec's chair and moving over to his station to begin the sweep, "Lets hope they can come up with something down there !" ..........

Danny pushed the buttons quickly. After years of serving aboard starships, he could do sensor sweeps in his sleep. This one needed careful attention though. If the Hepta cme in contact with other ships, it could be disastrous.
Danny was just about to round off the sensor sweep when a bleep turned up on his screen. "Commander, sensor contact bearing 327 mark 5*." Sejitsue looked up from the data readouts he had been studying. "On screen," he ordered. Danny tapped a button and an Akira class cruiser appeared. It was on a direct intercept course.
It was not unusual for Starfleet vessels who happened to be in the same sector to rendez-vous and exchange news and gossip. It was even considered a mild form of shoreleave when the two crews were allowed to mingle for a few hours. It didn't happen too often, but it wasn't unusual either. In this case, however, it would prove far from beneficial for the other crew. "Commander, USS Yamato C requests a rendez-vous."
Commander Sejitsu looked thoughtfully. How could they blow this off without having to explain the entire situation and risk having unwanted helpers sent to the Hepta. The encounter would most likely be fatal for those who boarded the Hepta, however good their intentions might be. Danny looked at Commander Sejitsu. His eyes asked the question before it could be uttered: What are your orders?
After a few seconds contemplation, Commander Sejitsu answered Danny's unspoken question. "Send out a warning Major. Under no circumstances are they to be allowed to approach the Hepta within a distance of 10.000 kilometres." Danny nodded an acknowledgement and tapped a button. "USS Yamato, this is the Hepta. Stay clear and maintain a distance of 10.000 kilometres or more. We have an emergency situation aboard which will affect the Yamato too if you come any closer. Steer clear and do not send help. As from this moment, the Hepta is in quarantaine. Please relay the message to Starfleet Command. Hepta out."
The Hepta moved away from the Yamato and steered into the nearest uninhabited system, where the crew could work on the present situation without bothering others with it.*= never mind about the course bearings. I don't understand the official system, so I used whatever numbers came to mind. Anyway, the point I was making is clear: sensor contact somewhere in space close to the Hepta's position <TAG: Blacard, Sharp, Captain>

Continued from last post.....
The Hepta drifted through the infinities of space. The system they were in now was so small that it didn't even have a proper name. It was only designated as a system on the most up-to-date star charts and recognized as System J25. It was uninhabited and therefore it provided the ship with the perfect place to hide from any other ships in the sector. It provided the perfect opportunity to keep whatever was going on on the ship from spreading.
Calm had been restored on the Bridge. There was still no contact with about 80% of the ship, but from what the officers on the Bridge could tell, they were not in any too immediate danger. Commander Sejitsu was still in command of the Bridge. Being the most senior officer, that task had been put on his shoulders now. Now that calm had been restored, it was time to try to restore communications to the ship.
So far, nothing had worked. Danny had tried all standard procedures and the ship hadn't responded to any of them. After trying some non-standard procedures he had copied from Maquis Raiders in his time as Starfleet marine, he thought there was some progress, only to see the newly established communication lines disintegrate before his eyes. Danny was in a towering mood. He felt like the Hepta was laughing at him.
Danny had never been overly fond of computers. He felt they often made people too lazy or too incompetent to perform the tasks themselves. Indeed, he had witnessed several pilots being unable to manually control a shuttle or a starship because of a computer failure. The pilots had landed Danny and several of his team mates in mortal danger on more than one occasion. For this reason, he usually instructed any Cadets assigned to him to perform all operations manually at least once before graduating.
Something bleeped on his console. "BLAST! Commander, The Yamato has followed us here. They insist on helping us out." Commander Seijitsu looked at his readout and muttered something under his breath. "Inform them to get the hell out while they still can," he ordered. Danny was just about to open a comm channel when a gasp from the Tactical console drew his attention.
At Tactical, a nervous Lieutenant stared at his readouts with horror. "Too late sir!" he said in a panicky voice. Sure enough, from the nearby nebula, a Borg cube emerged. Without any prior warning, it attacked the Yamato. Seconds later, the Hepta received a general distress call from the ship. The audio was horrible. People screamed as the Borg's cutter beams cut away the hull and they were sucked out into space. Others were attacked by Borg drones who had beamed over. Danny wasn't sure what was worse: the screames of the people who were sucked out into space of the terrified, horrorstruck and agonizing sounds of the people being assimilated where they stood.
The Yamato was slowly but surely being torn to pieces. Danny regained his composure first. "Lieutenant, lock torpedoes," he ordered. There was no response from Tactical. The officer in charge merely stood there, deadly pale. "Lieutenant Hawk, " Danny said addressing him more sternly this time, "Fire the bloody torpedoes!"
The Hepta fired at will, but nothing penetrated the Borg's defences. In fact, nothing even seemed to reach the Borg cube at all, while the Hepta was only a few hundred metres away. There was nothing they could do except stand by idly while their colleagues on the Yamato were either killed or assimilated.
In one final eplosion, the Yamato was no more. The Bridge crew held their breaths. This would be their turn. The Borg cube moved twoard the Hepta. The ship shuddered as they locked on a tractor beam. All weapons were still ineffective. And then their worst nightmare came true.
"We are the Borg. Lower your shields and surrender. Your technological and biological distinctiveness will be added to our own. Your species will cease to exist. From now on, you will serve the Borg. You will add to our perfection. Resistance is futile."

Leo's head popped up over the top of the bio bed.
"Amazon's. I've always been deathly afraid of amazons," he said in the general direction of the captain as well as cadet Sharp before tugging himself to his feet with obvious trepidation.
"I think that's what this thing does, it seeks out the owner's greatest fears and makes them real and when it's given to another person, the fears of the giver vanish in favor of the fears of the reciever," the councilor continued moving toward the captain and assorted crew, "So ... what we've been dealing with are the enriched delusions of Ensign Parker made material by that damned doll!"
Soon Leo realized everyone was staring at him with looks that broadcasted their ignorance of psychological concepts which he should have suspected before he even started shouting. He considered trying to explain what he just said, but he felt no desire to beat a dead horse, especially when a very feral and very feminine scream of anger and frustration pierced the room. Something metallic was suddenly wedged into the door with enormous force. All heads turned toward the protruding point of a very long, very large blade that was steadily trying to wedge the door open.
Leo gulped audibly and knelt down again. This time he grabbed the doll and marched over to the Captain, his wife, Ensign Parker and Cadet Sharp. He surveyed the assorted peoples and considered which was best equiped to help him. The captain was injured, Parker was nearly delirious just being near the doll, and Mrs. Parker was so completely attached to her husband it was hard for Leo to tell where one ended and the other began. He grimaced.
"Up for a little adventure, Cadet?" he asked the security cadet.

"Good, I need you to hold onto this doll, I'm not giving it to you, I just need you to ... er ... carry it for me," Leo said as a blonde head poked its way through the door, "I am going to try and control what is going on around here, if I keep my mind focused on my fear of the amazons that should stop the doll from starting any more mischief. What I need you to do is keep this doll on your person," he jerked his thumb toward the amazon, now striding into the room, drawing another spear out of thin air, "I am going to try to distract that ..."
Another spear whistled by his head and he ducked and spun away from the others. Luckily, no one was hit and the spear embedded in the wall just over the captain's head. Leo tugged the spear out of the wall and turned to face the Blonde of Death. He had to get her out of sickbay before someone got hurt ... and of course, Leo was the one that she wanted.
"You challenge me?!" the blonde roared as the huge blade re-appeared in her hand, "Are you really prepared to die here? For people you don't even know?!"
Leo swallowed ... hard.
After what appeared to be an eternity with fop sweat all over his face, he replied, "Y-y-yes, yes, I am!"
The blonde smirked and charged with her blade slashing at the space which Leo had previously occupied. He ducked and used the spear to strike her about the midsection. As she doubled over, stunned Leo got moving.
"Of course, that ain't exactly plan A!" he said as he hopped up and headed toward the door at top speed, "cadet! Keep your hands on that doll! Meet me on the bridge in ten minutes! First I need to deal with the warrior princess," he shouted behind him as the demonic beauty charged after him.

Cadet Sharp takes the doll and after the blonde chases Commander Blacard down the corridor. Sharp leaves sickbay and heads towards the turbolift. Sharp enters the turbolift bridge. Sharp exits the turbolift onto the bridge and now is going to wait for Commander Blacard to arrive.
Major Löhnen and Commander Seijitsu this is what has been causing all the promblems on the ship.
Sharp holds up the doll and it has a sinister look in its eyes.

The ship shuddered as the first attack commenced. Sirens began wailing immediately and Danny angrily ordered someone to cut the racket. As the alarm sirens ceased, the Hepta began a series of evasive manoeuvres, firing salvoafter salvo of torpedoes at the Borg cube. Pointless though this was, the Hepta was not about to give up without a fight. Retreat would not be possible, surrender was out of the question. They had no choice but to go down fighting. And down they would go, since none of the torpedoes seemed to have the slightest effect on the cube.
The Borg matched all their manoeuvres, staing with them and locking on their tractor beams every time they had matched the Hepta's position. It was pointless. Soon after the first attack, the second one began. The ship rocked again, more violently this time. "Sir! They're cutting out hull plates!", the lieutenant at Tactical reported, angrily, but with an awful fatality in his voice that reported more than words could ever say. Danny stared at the viewscreen in horror.
When the Bridge turbolift doors opened, Danny had enormous trouble jerking himself away from the viewscreen to see who had entered the Bridge. He was even more stunned when he saw the Security Cadet entering with a doll in his hands saying it was the cause of all their problems. "What are you talking about Cadet? In case you haven't noticed, the borg are about to assimilate us. This is hardly the time to play with dolls!" Danny snapped.

Bering sarcastic Major the only dolls i use are for target practice but if you want one for yourself we can get one for your birthday.
