Angel had enough of sitting around in her quarters, but knew she wasn't allowed to go back to work yet. She would be yelled at if she did.
"A nice stroll will do the three of us good. What am I doing? You two can't understand me yet, geesh, I'm going crazy. I need to get out among people," Angel said and put her shoes on going out for a walk around the base.
It wasn't long before she noticed people looking at her. She had gained a little weight in the last month, and had hoped the eyes would wander elsewhere after a few minutes. Angel continued on, and she looked around wondering where her feet were taking her.

After wondering around the academy in what seemed like hours she finally came to the realization that she was lost. 'way to go Adara' she thought to herself looking around anxiously not knowing where to go. 'get lost on your first day here what an impression you make' she scolded walking past a few people wondering if she should make contact.
Her head swam a little with thoughts of others more so then she was used to, stopping to try and relax her mind she blocked out all thoughts except her own placing her palm to her forehead as she did so. Her expression changed as a woman started to walk towards her she seemed a little troubled Adara felt for her and in the split moment she walked past her she spoke.
"Ah hi"

Angel was expecting a quiet walk, and then back to her quarters for a nap before work. Suddenly a female walked up to her and said hello. Angel smiled.
"Hello, I'm Commander Angel Reynolds, who might you be? Where are you headed?" Angel said stopping to talk to the woman who stopped her.
(Adara)
"I see, well we will have to fix that. You could come with me, and we could see what we can do to find your quarters and then maybe something to eat or do while you are waiting for your ship to arrive," Angel said thinking of mentioning her establishment. Suddenly someone contacted her commbadge.
"Angel, we are having problems with your sign again. Why do you always have to be trouble?" Joan said chuckling a little.
"You know exactly why. Let me know if I can help clear up any mess," Angel said and sighed. She noticed the other woman was looking curious.
"Believe me, I will. I might stop by later to see how you are doing, McCormick out." Angel chuckled and shook her head knowing Joan would be by only to get to the bakery.
"I have a place on the promenade. Nothing too grand, but its all mine. So, to your quarters?"

"yes." she said a little shy. "Quaters and food sound lovely thank you." she finished brightly with a grin.

"Sounds good, cadet," Angel said remembering that no name was mentioned.
"Of course to find your quarters, I'm gonna need to know what your name is," Angel said hoping the cadet would introduce herself this time. Angel started to walk toward the turbolift, and noticed she wasn't alone. She smiled and they both entered the turbolift.
(tag Adara)
"What a pretty name. Well then, I shall find your quarters easier now," Angel said taking out a padd. She wrote a message and had a reply very quickly.
"Looks like Joan isn't busy. Or she took out time from her busy schedule to answer. I'm glad she did. I would never have found that. Computer deck 28. So what is it you like to do for fun?"

Adara Smiled and followed Reynolds into the turbo lift a smug smile on her lips as her name was asked.
"Im Adara O'niell" she spoke lightly watching her take out a padd before writting something down. Eyebrows raised at the quick reply to the message.
"thats kind of Joan, being lost in this place is very confusing." she said with a nod to herself smirking at the comander. "for fun. well muking around is always fun, so are holo novels." she laughed lightly as the turbolift came to a holt in deck 28.
Stepping out into another hall she tuned to the comander. "whats do you like to do for fun?"

Angel chuckled.
"Well after awhile you get used to the corridors, and eventually you don't become lost easy. As for fun, well I think that has changed in the last couple of months. I used to enjoy pranking others, but lately that hasn't been something I enjoy much. I like to prank my husband, but that's different, and I think he expects it, well sometimes. Holonovels are good, but I don't get to the holodeck much now-a-days. I do love a good sparring match, when I can find a good opponent. Oh and there is nothing like flying one of those old earth vessels. I do like to swim as well, but not like I used to," Angel said remembering her high school days a bit.
Angel found she was tired of just walking, and hit a button to get the wheels on the bottom of her shoes out. She didn't blade often enough, but she loved it. Angel made sure to keep it slow so she wouldn't lose the cadet.

Brelev got tired of isolating herself to her quarters. The Station was busy with people and she wanted to be in a crowd. She put her mud of tea down and slipped into a comfortable but suitable outfit. She was still feeling achy and could not believe she was not being treated with more medication, she could try to get some herself, but that was bound to get her into trouble. Maybe she would contact this doctor and give him what for.
The Promenad was not far from Brelev's temperary quarters. She shuffled around looking in some of the shops that had moved in since she'd last been there. At last she decided she needed to find a place to sit down and headed to the nearest cafe. She cut through the pedestrian traffic as quickly as she could, but could not avoid knocking into a pair of women. "I'm so sorry... Angel is that you?"
<Tag Angel>
"I hardly recougnise you, what have you been up to lately?" Brelev had a foundness for the women who'd got her a lecture from Commander Hope when they had first met. She had not known Angel for very long but during the brief time they had worked together she'd learned to like the younger women

They reached the promenade, and suddenly there was Brelev running straight into her knocking her off her blades. A smile came across her face.
"Yes, old friend, it is so good to see you," Angel said, and carefully stood checking to make sure she was alright, then she put her hand out for the cadet to take it.
"Well, I've been married and have gotten pregnant. I also am the new morale officer on the base, and have a place here on the promenade. I was just going to show the cadet where to get food, then head down there. You could come check it out," Angel said hoping to talk more with the friendly older woman.

"Old friend, watch it youngster, I'm not that old." Brelev laughed. "Married, pragnant and the new moral officer, you've been very busy. I wonder if the station could handle another Angel Paris on board, or have you taken on a new last name, that's human tradition is it not?"
Angel nodded "It is, My name is now Angel Reynolds..."
"NO, I thought he despised you after that little joke." Brelev exclaimed. "I... Oh, I'm sorry cadet I'm being very rude. I'm Commander Brelev, CMO of the USS Hanson." Brelev stuck out her hand to the cadet, slightly embarressed that she had been ignoring her.
<Tag Adara>
After making introductions Brelev tried to decide if she would see about pursueing lunch with these ladies now, or catch up with Angel another time.
"Good evening Doctor!" Someone called out from the crowd. Slowly a bag laden crewmember Brelev knew as Ensign Hardy made hsi way over to them.
"I just got back from a friend's wedding, they told me that the Hanson is still in dock. Funny that, I geuss that the Captain had something different in mind for the cadets, I heard there was a lockdown." Hardy explained. "I'm heading over there now, what are you doing here?"
Hardy had always been a big talker. "I was on a short Leave for my hibernation cycle, I was under the impression the ship was gone already. Technically I'm on leave untill she returns." Brelev replied
"That sounds dreadfully dull, why don't you see if you can come along. You can enjoy the ship and crew without having to work too hard." Hardy suggested. "You look awful by the way."
"Thanks Ensign." Brelev replied sarcastically. "I don't feel too hot either, but according to the Station doctor It's all under control, but he's off on a conferance, so I see no reason why I should stay here under someone's watch who is not even around. Give me a moment to grab my things and I'll join you. In fact, I could use your help if you have an extra hand." Hardy nodded in reply.
"So you're off then?" Angel asked.
"Seems that way, I'll catch up with you another time. See you around Cadet, don't let Angel give you a hard time" Brelev waved goodbye and made her way slowly back to her quarters.
(O.O.C sorry about that, I've been invited to join my ship now that I'm back and would hate to miss the fun)
