Methos had just sat down and was begining to enjoy his overly large Chocolate Chip Cookie, which he had ordered from Tante Maria, when the lights went out. Being one that was always prepared for almost anything, Methos reached in his bag and grabbed a head band and put it on. He found the switch and flipped it. Suddenly, a collumn of light erupted from the light that was attachted to the headband. He sat there and ate his cookie, until he noticed that Joan had come in and started asking for suggestions.
Methos really had no idea, but chimed in anyway, "Well, if you ask me Commander, I say the power cells lost power or the relays are not doing their job. As to what caused either of those to happen? My guess if sabotage."

Crystal nods after receiving her orders from Commander McCormick, and turns to the cadet, Taylor. “Shall we go?” she suggests, after receiving the walkie-talkie. Crystal is still astonished at the young age of the Commander, and remembers briefly herself at that age. Crystal quickly decides that she likes herself better at the age she currently is.
"OK im ready , how far is it?" Cadet Taylor asks.
“It's 6 decks down, and some over” she answers his question. “Do you always carry all this stuff with you?” Crystal asks, a little surprised. Not that the supplies won't be useful, but Crystal still finds it...curious. Crystal has a phaser and tricorder of her own with her, but they are issued to her, and she certainly doesn't carry medical equipment with her.
/*/Lieutenant Shinsei, perhaps you could accompany the cadet and marine lieutenant?\*\ comes a voice over the walkie-talkie, Commander Hope's.
Crystal pauses, glancing back through the darkness she and Taylor had just traversed. /*/Yes, I can do that\*\ she replies, noticing that she is now going to be going to the holodeck rather than to engineering. That's okay with her though, she will just follow the orders. Since the first officer will be joining the cadet and going to engineering with him, they both return the slight distance to Tante Maria's, then Crystal turns to the group she'll be joining.
She doesn't actually have any opinion as to which way she will go, but she regards Lieutenant Runningwolf warily. There is something undeniably military that speaks of an abundance of weapons, just in the way he moves. This Crystal has only encountered a little recently, and all too much further in the back. She has been on the wrong side of orders too much for her to like the idea of marines. She remembers that Lieutenant Runningwolf was just on the last mission, and was just trained, and is Starfleet, but his presence still makes her feel tenser.
Crystal turns to the cadet and the lieutenant she will be going to the holodecks with, and nods at them. “Are we ready to start on our way?” she asks, after the marine lieutenant acknowledges the first officer's orders to keep an eye out for Methos and Daya.

“Lieutenant Shinsei, it is both a pleasure and honour to meet you even under these circumstances.” The young Deltan said in excitement. “I am Antonis, a Navigation Cadet 4th Class.”
He wanted to continue saying how much he looked forward to learning from her as Navigation Instructor and how he would do his up most to do his best and make her proud under her instructions, but as much as he meant all of this, he was worried that the Lieutenant might think he was “sucking-up” to her, and so he dropped the conversation there.

Damon emerged from behind Shinsei and stood upright at the hatch , he was a little confused at what he was supposed to be doing , and after a few moments of no one noticing him decided he wanted to get away from the group.
He thought for a moment about the implications of wondering around the station alone with no COM system but he remembered that shinsei had said that the engineering section was 6 decks down.
Once he got there the tricorder could point him in the right direction he was fairly sure.
He slipped back into the hatch and started in the same direction as before. When he got to the floor he opened it and headed down the six decks....

Joan noticed everyone was getting situated with this. She heard the suggestion that she go to Ops with a couple of cadets.
"Yeah, if we are lucky they know something knew, but I don't think we will find much. I was up there earlier, they didn't know much. Yes, sabatoge is not completely rulled out. Nice to see you are here Methos," Joan said looking to see where the cadets were.
"Okay, we should probably go now, the climb is a nice one," she said gathering Isis and Cain.
Before long they were off, and Joan wished she didn't have to do all this climbing again.
"So, you two having fun?" Joan said and chuckled. "Where are you from?" She asked them both, hoping to get a little bit of conversation going as they climbed.
Finally they reached Ops. "Report," she said a bit out of breath.

Wolf: Was not happy about leaving the Commander but her orders were clear find the admiral and escort the Lt and the cadet " Understood Commander I will find the Admiral as soon as I get the Lt and the cadet where they need to be"
Looking over at the Cadet he noticed he was excited about being able to help, At least he's tryng that says alot about him he should be a good officer one day. His impression of Lt Shinsei was differnt she seemed alittle uncomfortable around him trying to lighten the mood and put her more at easy " Well Lt it would seem that we are going on a little adventure hopefuly I wont trip and fall on my face, I"m ready anytime you are I suggest that Cadet Antonis stays in between us so we wont loose him" <Tag Antonis and Shinei>

Isis was ordered to go with Paul and Commander McCormick to Ops. “Go Isis. I’ll check those things.” Commander Hope was giving orders to the rest of the cadets. Charlotte approached. She couldn’t leave the place without telling someone where she was heading. “Commander with your permission I’ll go take my equipment and try to collect any other information I can find.” <tag Hope> ooc for Isis : As far as I know posts will be considered for Academy graduation only when the mission will begin on the Hanson. Damon had now traveled six decks down which had taken a lot more work than he had hoped , seeing as all the hatches had to be opened manually by hand and then closed manually using the same hand pump as to prevent fires and contamination leaks and such spreading in an emergency.
Now he was on the right deck , he hoped , he began to scan with his tricorder for strong sources of residual radiation , matching the pattern that the station core would likely emit.
The tricorder bleeped and indicated a direction , so he followed.
Walking along the deck he called out a few times for anyone else to respond , but failed to get a response.
All he could hear was the sound of mettle grinding behind the walls. He had already heard some one mention this before so he decided it was probably not something to worry to much about.
Had someone asked him right now he wouldn't be too embarrassed to admit that he was a little afraid of what was going on , but then again had someone else been here he may not be as afraid.
It was at this moment he wondered , had anyone noticed he was gone?

Antonis turned to Marine Lieutenant Runningwolf and explained how had heard that there had been an explosion that was being investigated in Holodeck 36 which might have been running a zero-gravity matrix. “I do believe that Holodeck 36 is on Deck 68 Sir.” Antonis said holding his breath to whether or not he had memorised the base’s layout correctly or not. After a slight pause he figured he got that one correct and so continued, “Being on Deck 24, Section 23 at the moment we are sure to cover plenty of ground in our search for the others.”

OOC: Cadet Taylor, I believe Commander Hope was going to join you as you go down to engineering. Perhaps at this point you could stop to rest and she could catch up with you?
Crystal is more than a little surprised at the enthusiasm with which the cadet greets her, she doesn't think she has encountered anything remotely like it before. Maybe the Cadet should be teaching her, Crystal thinks briefly. “Ah...thanks,” she replies, grateful for his words but not quite sure how else she can respond. “It's a pleasure to meet you as well.”
“Well Lt it would seem that we are going on a little adventure hopefully I wont trip and fall on my face, I"m ready anytime you are I suggest that Cadet Antonis stays in between us so we wont loose him,” the marine says.
“Hopefully none of us will trip and fall,” Crystal replies. “But as long as we don't bump into anything we should be fine,” she finishes, and though her smile is as good as invisible in the low lighting, the light tone of her voice makes it obvious that she was mostly just trying to make conversation.
“I do believe that Holodeck 36 is on Deck 68 Sir,” Antonis says.
“You're right about that,” Crystal responds. “Unfortunately. I wish it was a bit closer, especially since we have to go the whole way climbing up. Which is a good reason to start now,” she remarks as the three approach the close turbolift shaft. She realizes that what Antonis says about covering plenty of ground is true, but she has to hope that the other officers are also trying to let themselves be found, or else the station will just be two big for the ten or so cadets and officers to check everything.
Crystal keeps climbing up the shaft, trying to keep an eye on both the cadet and the marine to be sure they aren't becoming too tired, because when they are everyone should stop to rest. In case they don't want to be the one to call a halt, Crystal is willing to, she doesn't want anyone pushing themselves too far past their limit.

Matti knew he shouldn't have been messing with the console in the storage room. He just had to prove to himself that he could access the main computer systems from this remote console. He still didn't know had went wrong. He was just about to enter the security controls when the doors slamed shut and all power was drained from the room.
<Man this sure is one of the craziest things you've done. If you just would have listened to the feeling you would not be in this mess. When has the feeling ever led you astray? When has feeling ever been wrong? I'll tell you when. NEVER. So why did you not believe it this time? Because you are a moron, an idiot, a sorry excuse for a nitwit. You make a box of rocks look smart.> Matti thought to himself.
<Just because I messed up don't mean that I can't fix it. I just need to get power back to this console.>
As Matti worked to get power back to his console, he had a feeling again. This time it was good.
"Ok. You can do this. Just put that wire here and turn this thing there. Take this blue thing and move it over by the orange twistything here and... nothing. Oh. I forgot to full on the yellow square thing next to the red ballon thing." Matti said as his hands moved over the inside of the console.
Almost as if to say he was right, the power returned to the console. Once he got up and looked at the screen, Matti could tell this would be a good time to play a little and see what he could do. He turned on some limited power to some of the panels in the bakery, engineering and ops. He could see that a few people were on there way to engineering to find out what was wrong. He had a surprise for them. He waited until they were in the general area and locked the security doors behind them.
"Let's see if they can find a way around that. If they try to enter a security code it will shut down all power to the area." Matti mumbled to himself.
Matti looked at the screens again. He noticed that a group of people was headed towards ops. As they entered a coridor, he activated a series of emergency force fields that would send them towards an empty shuttle bay.
<I hope they have fun with my little maze. I hope they don't hurt themselves. Be carefull little mice.> Matti thought.
"Now we just wait to see what they will do." Matti said the open room in front of him.
OC: I hope no one will mind if I add some things that may or may not be need in this story. It was laking some of the things that will make this a much more lively tale... I just love being the bad guy.

Damon kept walking in the direction of where he thought engineering to be but paused when he heard a strange noise. It was like a crackling noise from behind the bulkheads , a familiar sound of power being restarted , but no lights came on. He went to one of the wall panels but they too were still without power. The young cadet wondered why there would be power but no function in this section but then the answer came. The safety door 5 foot ahead of him started to close , he ran to wards it but was too late. then as he turned another door behind him closed and sealed. He was trapped. He removed the panel by each door trying to find an override pump but somehow they had been disabled. As he ran around trying to find a hatch or way out two things occurred to him. Firstly that this had to be deliberate , this is too specific to be an accident. Secondly that now he is cut off in a very confined space , with no hatch or vents. It would only be a matter of time until the air will be unbreathable. Cadet Taylor sat down with his back against a wall and took off his Star fleet issue tunic style jacket to reveal the dull grey shirt they all wore below. He was already starting to feel too warm and realized that this was a bad sign. He tapped a few commands into the tricorder and left it on the floor , in one minute it beeped to say it had its answer. At the current rate of exchange , the air in this area will be of insufficient oxygen to support a person in just under an hour. Now would be a good time for someone to find him. <hope> <anyone else passing by?>

OOC So me , isis and McCormick are in ops right? Sorry a bit late my problem is i only focus on one thread,But i asume this is based well after A class for all thread. Here it goes.
IC
Paul had just arrived in ops the hard way, with Isis and McCormick.
"Report" he heard Commander McComick ask over the Comm System.
The only reply they got was silence, either the Comm system was malfunctioning to or something strange was happening.
"Report" she repeated. "Well" She smiled at the two cadets "i guess we're on our own."
Paul looked at the two of his Compardrais and walked on with them following. He didn't really know where he was going but he knew he would be pointed in the right direction.
What would they do in op's when they got there. The Commander had already ruled out sabotage and everything seemed to be normal for before and now. It was clear that they were not getting invaded by some alien race.
Now his heart started raceing and he couldn't breath. This was just like the pirate attack he had on the cruise. Only then he was alot younger.
They couldn't be far Paul just had to push on. Keep going. He would be fine. Wouldn't he??

Wolf: Was bring up the rear watching the Lt and the Cadet, He didn't know how in shape they were so he was checking to make sure they weren't tired. If he saw someone getting tired he planned on calling a halt, I know one will admit so I'll just say I'm tired take the blame so every body can save face. " So Lt have you met your cadet for your next mission" <Tag Shinsie>
" What about you antonis have you met your instructor yet, I bet your in a hurry to start your mission aboard the hanson she's a good ship" <Tag antonis> Trying to make small talk wasn't easy but he had his reason for it by making the other to talk he was forcing them to breath deeply which would would help on there climb. It was one of the lesson he learned in his basic trainning by sing cadence on there runs the Marines got less tired and were able to go futher. Force more bad air out and letting more good air putting more oxygen in the blood stream let people work harder for longer periods of time.

“Well actually”, Antonis replied, “I believe Lieutenant Shinsei will be my Instructor, and as far as I know, I’m the only Navigation Cadet here at the moment.” Antonis climb slowed down slightly. “Would it be alright to stop and rest for a while at the first suitable place. I do apologise, but I don’t think I can keep this pace up for a lot longer.” He felt as though he was letting the others down slightly by saying this, but the truth was that he was getting quite tiered. At that moment, his engineering tricorder sounded. “Hmm, I’m not entirely sure what that means” Antonis said to the two Lieutenants, “but the tricorder seems to indicate that partial power has been restored to parts of the ship. But if this were true, it would mean that somebody was actively controlling the power supply from the auxiliary fusion generators would it not? Antonis stopped climbing and looked at the two lieutenants for direction. “And if this is the case, I’m afraid that my theory of the Holodeck malfunction goes out the window. But who is controlling the power and where from?”

Joan noticed that some of the power was restored, and wondered what he was up to. ~Now why are you bringing some power back? We haven't done anything.~ She thought wondering what Matti was up to. She was walking passed a closed section and found someone was knocking on the walls. "Hello, who is in there?" Joan said, and didn't like the response. ~Matti, I will get you for locking him in here.~ She thought and rolled her eyes, wishing she didn't know what was going on. "Okay, cadet, relax. We are going to get you out of there. Isis, Cain, what are our options for releasing this poor cadet?" Joan said hoping they wouldn't ask any questions about what was going on. OOC: Nice job Matti. Keep us guessing.

The question Took Pauls mind off of the current situation. And also caught him off Guard. He could see the Commander staring at the two of them like there was nothing going on. But A cadet was stuck in there. It must be an exercise he guest. "Sir we could bypass the locking mechanism to the door forcing the locks to release." This was not Pauls strong subject but he'd be damned if he wasn't at least going to try. <McCormick> "Yes Sir" Paul Replied and icsis and he went about following the commanders orders. It was taken a little more time than expected. And Paul's suspisions began to get the better of him. Either the man inside was a Good actor or something had happened on the station. "Just breath normal, And remian calm sir we'll have you out soon." Paul shouted to the man stuck inside. He noticed icsis by his side working hard and long. They both realised exercise or not? They were against the clock..

As Travor was talking to TWO, in the Fighter Wing Commander's Office, the Power shut off. Finding himself alone in the office, he felt his way to a storage locker and grabbed a wrist light and the mobile emiter that he knew was in there. He focused the light on the emiter and tryed to active TWO, but with him being transfer to it, he was unable to do it. He opened the door manually.
After he left the office, he went to find Delan. He made his way to the Hanger. After he opened the door, he noticed that no one was there. He then went to her quarteres. Kaath was flying along just above his head. When they got to Delan's door, Travor asked Kaath to go inside to see if she was there. Kaath disappeared and then reappeared. He was chirpping excitedly, so Travor knew that Delan was inside and safe. He opened the door and saw that she was asleep.
He woke her up and said, "The station has lost power and TWO was deactivated. Come on, we got to find a working computer pannel."
<Delan>
As the two made their way to ops, they saw a group of people in the bakery. Travor led the way into the bakery and noticed that a couple of control pannels had power. He walked up to the group and asked, "Is anyone using this pannel over here?"
The answer that came back to him was no. SO he went up to the pannel and accessed TWO's program. He transfered it to the mobile emitter and acctivated it. It took a moment or two for TWO to completely activate. When he was able to move around, He saw Travor holding the mobile emitter. Travor held it out to him. TWO took it and put it on his arm.

Danara had been waiting outside ONE's office while Gonto was debriefed trying to decide the best way to avoid Gresh who's been doing his best to "accidently" be in the same places she was. So far her best option seemed to be to shove him out an airlock, but since she was already looking at getting in a fair bit of trouble, that was probably not a good idea. At any right, as soon as this Debriefing was done she was going to visit the Stations CMO and get her meds sorted out.
Then the power went out. All of it. =A=Computer, restore power=A=
Nothing, of course, sometimes Danara's stupidity amazed her. What was this, sabatoge (Gresh's name instantly ;eptto mind) some Engineering cadet on the road to failure, or a training exercise. While if it was the later Danara was not impressed, this station was not just for cadets, and everyone needed power.
She decided the best course of action was to regroup with her team, and then procede to the command center, or engineering to meet with other full officers. First things first, Gonto was now behind a automatic door, which was no longer automatic. Danara opened it manually, and was immediatly tossed a wrist light by her commanding officer. She strapped it to her list. "What should we do sir, find the others?"

S'reena scowled when she discovered the security cadet had already darted off in all his eagerness. She keyed in a frequency on her walkie talkie. "Keep going to your destinations," she ordered the separate teams, "my cadet is missing, I am going to find him and then we'll report back to engineering. Report anything you find, however useless you may find what you find."
<R-all>
The Romulan first officer pulled out her phaser and checked whether it's power source was still full. To her chagrin, she discovered the power cell was nearly drained and she'd only be able to get off one or two shots if needed. ~at least I still have my hand-weapon~ she thought, less than amused.
Without an active computer system, there was no way to exactly pinpoint Taylor's location, but she did have a fair idea on where he'd disappeared to, eager as he was. ~security cadets~ she thought grimly, as she hurried through Conqueror's maze of corridors.
Finally, she remembered she was still carrying a tricorder and she pulled it out, programming it to find the cadet. Crawling through Jeffries tubes, she reached the last hatch after which her tricorder told her Taylor would be situated. Assuming the hatch would automatically open at her approach, she bumbed headlong into it when it failed to open. Rubbing her head, she mumbled an obsenity and continued to start a manual override.
When that didn't work, she pulled out her phaser and started to cut the hatch out, but when she'd barely done one side, the phaser ceased working, it's power cell drained. "Just my luck," she muttered, then banged the hatch. "Cadet Taylor, open this hatch at once!" she ordered, hoping the young man would respond and sincerely hoping he would be all right. "Cadet Taylor, respond!"

"some of the power is not getting to the door reliese system" Paul Heard Cadet Icsis say. And he began to pannick Would they get the poor man out alive. He did not show his pannick, as not to worry the poor soul inside. Paul looked over at Icsis's Tricorder and saw that his fellow cadet was reading it correct. He had to check for himself. "We need to get in quick. What are the oxygen levels like behind this door?" Paul Asked trying to hide the worry in his voice. "Oxygen levels are low Paul" Icsis said with hopeless sounding voice. They both knew that if they did get into there, It was going to be close. But it looked completely hopeless for the poor man inside. Paul sighed. "Did i tell you to stop Cadet?" Commander McCormick Asked behind them making them aware she was still there. "Ma'am it's not working and the oxygen levels are low. I don't think we may be able to get in there in time." Paul replied. "I'll tell you when to quite Cadet, Try something else." McCormick ordered. Paul nodded in a hopeless manner and went back to work. Then the lights flickered on and then off again, there was hope afterall maybe the lights coming on and off meant enough power got to the door system or even gave life support emergency power. Suddenly Paul and Icsis looked at each other with a new confidence found within themselves. That little bit of hope was enough And they began working. "Paul the oxygen levels are rising, But the door is still jammed." Icsis pointed out. "How do we get in there? God knows how long emergency life support will last" Paul said again the situation sounded hopeless. Then paul had a brain wave. "Are there any jefferees tubes leading in there Commander?" Paul waited for a response....

Delan stirred hearing the door to her quarters being forced open. She'd been sleeping solid since they had returned home, her injuries having flared up giving her reason to take a forced break and spend time resting.
She was reaching for her phaser when she realized who it was that had entered her sleeping chamber.
"The station has lost power and TWO was deactivated. Come on, we got to find a working computer pannel."
"Great, any idea on what happened?" She asked
He didn't answer and she was forced to move quickly to dress and follow him from her quarters and let him lead her back to where some of the others had gathered.
Questions would have to wait until they knew more about what was going on. Meanwhile their best bet was to remain calm and keep the others on the station calm as well.
