You must request to attend the meeting well in advance (after the meeting date has been announced) in an email to the Chief of Communications. s47-ccschief@yahoogroups.com
Rules for attending are as follows:
Open Meetings (Every 3rd Meeting to be open to members on a quarterly schedule.)
- 1. To ensure that meetings are not swamped, up to 5, non-eligible members are permitted to attend a meeting. Members will be notified of the meeting date via the public message boards and the announce email list. Once the date is announced, it will be the responsibility of the member to contact the Head of CCS. Those who have been approved for attendance will be notified by the Head of CCS.
- 2. Anyone wishing to attend the meeting must apply in advance via email to the Communication Corps Chief at s47-ccschief@yahoogroups.com. Please try to give 2-3 days advance notice. (Requests made the day of the meeting will not be honored even if thereโs a vacancy.)
- 3. Places will be first come first serve. The first 5 to contact the Head of CCS and qualify for attendance will be placed on a list. If you apply after the first 5 respond, your name will not be kept on the list. You will be notified that your request has been bumped and you will need to reapply for the next monthโs meeting time, if you desire. (Reapplication is necessary due to changing schedules; the next monthโs meeting may not be a convenient date for you.)
- 4. Order will be maintained at the discretion of the SA.
- 5. No one will be permitted to address/speak in a meeting unless they get permission from the SA first or are asked a direct question by an eligible member. (Eligible members are those attending the meeting for the purpose of running the site or those that have gained prior permission by the SA.)
- 6. To ensure confidential matters remain so - visitors will be required to leave the meeting for the duration of a confidential motion. Confidential Matters are matters concerning disciplinary procedures, debates over members/suitability for administrative or command duties and any matter the SA declares as confidential.
- 7. Visitors will be bound by the same confidentiality as CSS members with regards to disclosure of details prior to the release of the minutes.
- 8. Should the meeting not be held as scheduled, those who were cleared to attend the cancelled meeting will have first choice at returning when the meeting has been rescheduled. Members will be notified of the meeting date via the public message boards and the announce email list. Once the date is announced, it will be the responsibility of the member to contact the Head of CCS when they learn of the newly scheduled meeting date and reapply.
- 9. The Command Staff withholds the right to deny a member attendance if they are under investigation by JAG or their recent conduct has been disruptive.
- 10. The schedule for Open Meetings will be quarterly beginning in the month of March, following with June, September, and December. If the regularly scheduled quarterly meeting is cancelled, members may reapply to attend the rescheduled date once itโs announced.
- 11. Emergency Command Staff Meetings cannot be attended as an Open Meeting even if they fall within the qualifying month.
