Angel was glad the transport had dropped her off, and she wondered how suprised he would be. Angel smiled glad she was back here again, even if it was only for a visit.
After putting her back in her temporary quarters, Angel headed off to see where Jason was hiding.
She had searced for hours, and found no trace of him, which bummed her out. Angel sat down near a window, and put her head in her hands.
"Is there something wrong?" She heard, and it took a moment before it registered. She looked up to see him standing there smiling and looking surprised when he noticed her.
"Jason!" Angel said practically ran over to greet him.

The Hanson was about to leave port and Jason was excited. He still didn't know what the mission was, but he knew that there were going to be many cadets. That was a very exciting thing and he heard that he had a cadet this go around. Yet everything stopped when he saw the image of perfection. At first he didn't believe what he was seeing, but after a couple of pinches he knew that he wasn't seeing mirages.
She had come back, she had come to visit him. Though she looked bummed out, but Jason would change that. So he quitely and discreetly made his way into the bakery.
"Is there something wrong?" She heard, and it took a moment before it registered. She looked up to see him standing there smiling and looking surprised when he noticed her.
"Jason!" Angel said practically ran over to greet him.
"Would you care to join me in a chocolate fest?" She said taking his hand in hers to lead him to the table she was sitting at.
"Do you even have to ask," Jason said happy that he was being led by his love.
"No, not really, but I thought it would be nice if I did. Is there anything you have to be doing now, or can you stay with me for awhile?" She said knowing he would leave when the Hanson did.
"No, not right, but why didn't you contact me, I would of come running if you would have called," Jason said as he quikcly kissed Angel.
"I figured we would run into each other. I just got transferred to the Fighter Wing. Besides, if I called I would have missed the surprised look on your face. It was worth it," Angel said pushing one of her pastries toward him.
"You were transferred to Conqueror?" Jason asked surprised. He was tempted by the pastry, but ignorned it and took Angel in his arms. He plastered her with hugs and kisses." We are going to spend so much time together."
Is somewhat surprised by his reaction, but enjoys it, she leans her head on your shoulder.
"Yes, we are, if our crews are on the base together. I am going to enjoy being here more than I thought," she said and smiled.
"Well the fighter wing right now is still on Conqueror, and the Hanson will leave port tomorrow or the day after," Jasons said looking at her now in the eyes," lets spend all the time we have together."
"I agree. The bakery is nice, and I will have time for pastries later. Would you like to go somewhere more private, dear?" She said hoping for some time alone with him.
"Lead the way, sweety," Jason said teasing her. No one had ever called him dear and he found that he liked it a lot.
"Okay, I will surprise you," she said, and got up taking his hand when he rose too. Angel made her way out of the shop and to the turbolift to leave the promenade. She entered the turbolift with Jason in tow, and told the computer what deck she wanted. Angel then smiled, and pulled him closer.
Jason loved being closed to Angel, but he didn't want to do anything just yet. He didn't think he could control himself if he started.
Angel noticed he hadn't done anything yet, and she just put her head on his shoulder liking how things were going so far.
"I was hoping you would be around this evening, and took a chance that you would. I have dinner ready back in my quarters," she said and smiled looking up at him.
"You know you think of everything, I'm so lucky that we met," Jason said finally kissing her," though I still don't like how we met."
"Well, no one really has to know. We could have just bumped into each other. Where were we together after that time?" She said hoping to get something else as the turbolift started to slow.
"Yeah, and lucky for us S'reena never did report what you did," Jason said laughing," if you want I will say that you saved my life and I just fell in love."
"We can do that, or use the second meeting as our first one. It had to be much better though. Here we are the deck my quarters are on," she said and took his hand to lead him there.
"Our second meeting was at the senior staff meeting, remember," Jason said as they reached her quarters.
"Oh yeah, I remember now," she says and blushes a little. They enter, and she moves toward the kitchen.
"Wow, my temporary quarters, are nothing like this," Jason said as he removed his yellow vest. One thing that he did hate was the fact that he didn't really have R&R, so he usually was on official duty most of the time."It smells great."
She removes dinner from the oven and puts it on the place holder on the table. Angel looks up to see he has removed his vest, and she looks away to hide her cheeks turning a nice shade of red.
"Dinner is served," she said, and got the wine from the bucket pouring it in the glasses.
Jason laughed as he saw Angel blush, but quickly recovered as he picked up the glass and drank a sip. It was very good, but his attention was not on the food, but the host.
Angel noticed his attention, and sat down to diner.
After diner was over, she just left the table as was, and moved over to the couch hoping he would follow.
Jason enjoyed the meal, but it was extremely short. His upbringing told him to clean the table, but Angel motioned to just leave it there.
"You know the couches are better too," Jason said as he sat next to her and grabbed her hands. She laughed as Jason began reading her palm. "Something I learned way back."
"Oh, and what is in my future, dear?" She asked curious to see what he might say.
"Well of course some danger, laughter, a handsome man and something else that I can't read," Jason said nudging her.
"A hansome man, well that has to be you. Something you can't read? Now that could be good news, or it could be bad. I prefer good though, especially if it involves us," she said stretching out and leaning against him relaxing.
"Well of course I'm the hansome man," Jason said as he leaned in and kissed Angel.
Angel put her arms around his neck enjoying the moment.
A minute later they pulled apart, and she rested her head on his chest again. Angel hadn't noticed the time, and found her eyelids were drooping a little.
"Your tired, I should leave, we will be able to spend more time tomorrow," Jason said not wanting to get up from his comfortable position.
"Yes, I am tired, but you don't have to leave," she suggested not wanting him to go, even if it was just for the night.
"No, I don't want to leave, but we both need our rest," Jason said.
"I don't think you get what I am hinting at, dear," she said and then chuckled.
"Oh I do, but then we wouldn't get any sleep at all would we," Jason said as he teturned her smile, which caused her to blush once again.
"Oh, yes we would. Are you saying no?" She asked looking up at him. Angel put on a cute little puppy dog face.
"Now that's not fair," Jason said mocking unjust," you know I can't resist that face."
She chuckled, then resumed the face. "Yes, I know, that's why I do it. I really don't want you to leave me yet. I know we only have a day or two together, and I don't want us apart. Is that bad of me?"
"Of course it isn't," Jason said," plus to be honest I wasn't really thinking of leaving anyways.
Angel's face brightened, and she snuggled a little closer to him. "Good, we can get comfy together," she said putting her arms around him.
"What I was already comfy?" Jason laughed as he held her," but this is nice too."
"Well we can get even more comfy then. Are you ready for that, or do you want to stay here longer? I am good with either," she said and her grin grew a little as she looked up at him.
"Am ready for anything, but like the gentleman that I am, I'm going to let you choose," Jason said.
"Well, I hate to move, but my eyelids are protesting, we should snuggle up under the covers," she said moving slowly to get up.
"Well then lets go," Jason said as he picked up Angel and moved towards her bedroom.
Angel chuckled as he picked her up. He put her under the covers, and then moved to join her. "Hey, no boots in bed," she said and shook her head as she sat up and removed her vest tossing it to the floor.
"Fine, though I though Fighter pilots knew how to rough it," Jason said removing his boots.
"I am sure we do, but I prefer no boots in bed. We can't play a good game of footsy if you wear them in bed," she said making a good point, or at least she thought so.
"Good point," Jason said his boots and socks already stored away in a corner. Jason got into bed and told the computer to shut off the lights. "What you said sleep."
Angel moved closer to him, and put her head on his chest liking this very much. She found she couldn't help but smile as her eyes closed.
“See I knew that you were tired too,” Jason said as he resisted sleep.

OOC: JP with Jason Reynolds!
IC:
Angel woke early the next morning, and looking up finding him still asleep, she carefully takes his arms from around her and gets out of bed. She puts on a robe and slippers going into the kitchen.
A little later she has breakfast half way cooked, and is bent over a cookbook while it is frying up a little more.
For some reason, Jason was extremely comfortable and his body refused to move. He had a very busy day, but it was topped off with something so unexpected. He had ran into Angel Paris, his beautiful girlfriend. They had spent the entire day and night together and even though he hadn’t meant to his fall asleep in her room. He didn't want to move too fast or scare her away. These thoughts brought Jason out of his sleep and to the pleasant aroma of something cooking.
Bent over the cookbook, she only noticed the food and not him waking. She wanted this to be a perfect breakfast, and wouldn't settle for anything less. She remembered seeing him for the first time since she had left, and her heart started to beat a little faster. Her nose alerted her to something, and she noticed the bacon was burning. Reaching down to grab the handle, Angel yelled out in pain dropping the whole pan on the floor. She rushed over to the sink putting the cold water on immediately as her eyes closed in complete pain.
Jason could smell an assortment of things cooking, Jason had never pictured Angel as a cook. All of a sudden Angel screamed, and Jason immediately rushed towards the kitchen and towards Angel, who was pouring water on her hand. The fallen pan on floor told him all he needed to know and he immediately got the medkit. “Honey, give me your hand please,” Jason said as lightly grabbed Angel’s arm. It hurt him to see her in pain, but it would soon end. “Angel am I doing it correctly?”
She opened her eyes to see him administering pain relief. She wanted to lean against him right then.
"Yes, that is right, good idea," Angel said and smile in his direction. After he was done, she put her head on his shoulder feeling really drained. She just wanted one thing, and she hoped it would happen really fast.
Jason made sure to be extra careful, but he knew that Angel wanted the pain to end. It seemed to take longer than usual, but he finished. “Angel, go sit on the couch, I will clean this up and I will cook something for us to eat.”
"At this point, something from the replicator will do," she said a little disappointed as she slowly made her way to the couch. She watched him work around the kitchen a little bit.
"Replicator,” Jason said surprised, ”I’m not going to use the replicator dear. I’m going to cook something for us.” Jason quickly began cleaning up the mess and quickly went into the bedroom to put on some more suitable clothes. PJ pants were not the best things to wear while cooking. After changing, Jason replicated everything that he was going to use and began to cook for two. Fifteen minutes later he was done and brought Angel her tray of food on the couch. “For you dear.”
Still pretty wiped out, she didn't feel like moving let alone eating. She pushed the food away, and started to get up.
Jason couldn’t help but be hurt when she refused to eat the food he had cooked, but understood that she didn’t want to eat anything. “Angel if you don’t want to eat we can go for a walk or just stay in and talk.”
She felt hurt, and it was more than just her hand. She wondered why he would worry more about the kitchen than her. She sighed, and sat back.
"A walk wouldn't do good, too tired. We can talk if you want to," she said feeling lousy.
Jason was starting to understand what was wrong with Angel and he felt so stupid once he realized it.
“Angel I’m sorry, I was so stupid,” Jason said practically begging for forgiveness,” I thought that me making you breakfast would cheer you up. I’m so sorry.”
Pushing his tray away, putting her head on his shoulder again, she just laid against him having no strength. "I'm sorry too, here I am acting like a spoiled brat. How can I make it up to you?"
“I like the way you are even the spoiled brat part,” Jason said playing with her hair,” and I think your already making it up to me.” They stayed there for a while until Jason’s stomach stirred. He couldn’t deny that he wasn’t hungry. “If your up to it, you can help me eat this,” Jason said pointing to some chocolate chip pancakes. She chuckled a little.
"I think I can manage that, sweet one," she said grateful that he wasn't extremely mad at her. They start to chow down, and end up finishing the pile. When they were done, she laid back against him feeling better. Angel still had one wish, and wondered if he would be able to guess what it was.
Jason and Angel devoured everything in sight. Jason was still hungry, but his stomach was content with the food that he had eaten. The food finished, Jason put away the tray of food and went back to Angel on the couch. He got behind her and just held her closely. It felt so right.
"Angel, I’m sorry for being a guy, I’m just not used to being in a relationship,” Jason said as his hands wrapped around her waist and his head laid down on her shoulder. Her eyes went wide with surprise and excitement.
"Well for a guy who isn't used to this, you are doing pretty well," she said liking this a lot. She closed her eyes, and then couldn't help it. Turning in his arms, she pulled him down into a nice long slow passionate kiss.
The kiss was such a welcomed surprise. It was also one of the longest he had ever had. As the kiss progressed, his hands started roaming her beautiful skin and hair. The only reason that the kiss stopped was because Jason needed to breathe.
“You know that your beautiful right?” Jason said in between kisses.
"You keep telling me I am," she said and winked at him teasing him a bit. She pulled away from him a little something really nagging at her.
“Well its true,” Jason said smiling, but that disappeared when she pulled away,” what’s wrong Angel?”
She looked over at him for a minute, and the horrible feeling returned. "I have a secret Jason, and I haven't told anyone. I want to tell you, but I am not sure that is a good idea, you might start to ask questions, questions I can't answer," she said wishing and hoping that he would react differently if she told him.
A deep chasm of feelings came rushing in. Angel had secrets that was to be expected, everyone did. Jason had some that only his family knew about, but even then there won’t really important. They way that Angel was talking it could change there relationship, but the more he thought about it the more he realized nothing could change what he felt for her.
“Angel, I understand that you are afraid to tell me whatever it is that you don’t want to tell me,” Jason said knowing that what he just said was confusing,” I wish and hope that I can be the person that you can tell everything to and if you don’t want to share your secrets with me right now its fine. I will love you anyways.”
Angel was shocked by what he said, and tears came falling down her cheeks. "I love you too Jason. I wouldn't want to do anything to lose you. Just promise me you won't put me in an awkward position or report me," she said quickly as she put her head on his chest.
“Report you, why would I ever cause anyone that I love harm by reporting them?” Jason asked as he caressed her head. She pulled back from him and looked him in the eye.
"Because, I am from the future," she said watching for his reaction.
Jason didn’t speak for a while, he had to think of what she had just said. She was from the future and to his surprise it didn’t really matter.
“Cool,” was all he said,” I thought it was going to be something bad.” She sighed relief and smiled.
"Well, we have all day together, what are we going to do?" She asked hoping he might have a plan already formulating.
“Well I liked what we were doing earlier,” Jason said as he began kissing Angel passionately. After a couple of minutes of kissing Jason finally spoke. “Well that’s what I want to do all day, but yo I’m up for a holodeck, shopping, eating, etcetera.”
Angel enjoyed the kissing as well, and found her voice didn't work for a minute after he spoke. "I am sure we could work the kissing into any of those other ones," she finally said and rested her head on his chest again, then an idea came to her.
"Well I could definately go for some holodeck fun right about now, and I know the exact program," she said excitedly.
“I was hoping that you would say that,” Jason said as he lightly kissed Angel once again,” so are you going to tell me what the program is?” She grinned wickedly.
"Well, I suppose I should. I was thinking of a day at the beach," she kissed him lightly and got up to go get her suit. "Well, are you coming?"
"The beach, darn that means I have to take off my shirt," Jason said as he moved towards the door and to Angel. Jason said this hoping Angel would react. She chuckled.
"I guess you have caught me," she said and winked. She took his hand in hers and moved more out the door hoping he would still want to do this.
“Well, I shouldn’t be complaining, I’m going to get to see you in a bathing suit,” Jason said as he held her hand and left her quarters. She shook her head as she chuckled. ~I should have known.~ She thought.
A little bit later they arrived at the holodeck, and Angel put in for her favorite beach program. She pushed him back a little playfully, "TAG, you are it!" She squealed as she ran into the holodeck, immediately changing into her bathing suit.
Jason couldn’t help, but laugh at her playfulness. Still, Jason ever being a competitor at heart, gave chase. As soon as he crossed the threshold of the holodeck his attire changed to blend in with the surroundings.
”Angel, I’m going to catch you!” Jason yelled getting closer and closer as time went on. She chuckled, and ran into the water swimming out a little. She saw him swimming out to get her too. Under the water she went, waiting for just the right moment. Not too much later he was over her, and she grabbed his legs pulling him under with her. ~He looks good wet.~ She thought and blushed. Angel pulled him closer, and their lips met. They resurfaced in this position.

Angel hated how he went away on mission, but she knew it was for a greater good. She wished it didn't have to be so long, but she found she didn't mind. ~At least we have fun when he is around, but is it because it is so rare?~ Angel thought. She realized he was on the base again.
Angel found out where he was, and moved quickly to find him. She found he was in the bakery with a couple of people. She walked over to his table.
"What no hello?" She said as he looked up surprised.

The graduation had ended only an hour ago and it happened to be one of his favorite. He didn't know why, but it just was. Now that his official duty as instructor was done, Jason had decided to relax a bit and the best place for him to do that was the Bakery. It had just happened that other Hanson officers had beaten him there and asked him to join them. He readily agreed, but he first had to get himself some chocolate eclairs.
It had only been a couple of minutes before Jason heard a familiar sound.
"What no hello?" She said. Jason had made sure to look surprised, but inside he was just happy that Angel had found him. He got up from his table and without thinking planted his lips on hers. There were a couple of comments, but he didn't care.
"Let's go somewhere," Jason said as he took her by the hand and headed out of the bakery, but not before Jason finished his eclairs.

OOC: JP with Jason Reynolds. Warning its really long!
IC:
Jason moved to her and planted a nice wet one on her. ~What is he thinking?!~ Angel pulled away quickly feeling a bit embarrassed with all those people being able to watch. He finished his food, and they were leaving as quickly as she had come.
"Okay, so where are we going?" Angel said hoping it would be as good as the last time they met.
“Haven’t actually thought about that yet,” Jason said laughing. He didn’t know what it was but everything adult in him just disappeared when he was around Angel. It was like he was a love struck teenager all over again. “Though I know it’s going to be fun.”
"I don't doubt that, just thought maybe you had a plan," she said a twinkle in her eye. She loved being around him, he made all worrying disappear. "Perhaps we should move to the turbolift to figure it out."
“You know maybe your right,” Jason said as he led her into the closest lift and as luck would have it, it was empty. As soon as the doors closed, Jason ordered the lift to halt even though it hadn’t moved anywhere. “So how do you think we should figure it out?”
"I think if we put our heads together we might get somewhere," Angel said and moved closer pulling him in for a nice long kiss.
The kiss like all they shared was magnificent. Jason didn’t care that his lungs by now were being deprived of oxygen. It was only until started to feel queasy did he stop the kiss. “You know you could of killed me,” he said as he kissed her once again, but making sure that he had a sufficient air supply. She put her arms around his neck not wanting to stop feeling his lips on hers. Angel had missed him way too much while he was gone. She finally pulled back feeling light headed. She put her head on his chest.
"Where should we go? I think somewhere where we can be completely alone and not interrupted," she said looking up into his eyes. Angel felt her knees go a bit weak.
“There’s only two places that we can be completely alone,” Jason said as he continued to nuzzle her neck and planted hundreds of kisses.” So I’m going to let you choose.”
"Then I better choose quickly. I am guess one of our quarters is what you mean," she said stalling to think about which she would choose.
“Well let’s look at this logically,” Jason said with a big grin on his face,” you have seen my quarters and I have seen yours. Mine is a third smaller than yours and it’s on the Hanson and your quarters…….” She raises her head on that one.
"Wait, you don't have temporary quarters here? Well that settles it, my quarters," she said and chuckled putting her head back on his chest.
“Have you seen those temp quarters,” Jason said as he caressed her beautiful hair. “Computer Deck 63. officers quarters. .” Angel chuckled.
"Yes, I have, and you are right. Those quarters are no place for a lady," winks at him and smile widens a little.
“No place for a gentleman either,” Jason mused as the lift stopped and Jason led both of them out.” So which one is it again?” Angel shook her head.
"We might need to come here more often so I don't always have to show you," she said chuckling as she took the lead to her quarters. It wasn't long before they were inside. Angel removed the jacket part of her uniform and her shoes getting comfy like she always did when coming home. She turned around seeing he had an eyebrow raised, and the look on his face was something she had never seen before. She wasn't sure whether to be afraid or excited.
Jason of course knew which room was hers, but he loved to play along with her. As soon as they entered her quarters she began throwing articles of clothing across the room. It was something that he would of expected from a guy, something he would of expected from him. At that moment he realized how much he loved her and he couldn’t help but be awed by the realization.
Angel sits down on the couch. "Are you going to just stand there, or join me over here?" She looked over at him wondering if that was him drooling or if her eyes were playing tricks on her.
Jason laughed as he joined her on the couch. It was the very same couch that they had spent hours together the last time Jason had been on the base. Jason made sure to get comfortable and then decided to just rest on Angel for a change. It was an awkward picture, Jason who was several inches taller than Angel laying on her thigh and his feet having a hard time staying in the air.
“So, how have you been?” Jason asked smiling. Angel shook her head and tried not to chuckle even though she thought his position was funny. ~This is what I love about him. He makes me laugh.~
"Things have been okay. I just can't seem to find my place in the fleets though," she said as she ran her hand through his hair.
“I don’t know why it’s hard for you,” Jason said enjoying her caress,” you are perfect, an experienced officer, funny woman, HOT, and mine. The best anyone could ask.”
“By the way, do you think my hair is too long?” She chuckled.
"Yes, you need a haircut. So am I to interpret you want me to give up my career and be just yours waiting for you to return every time from a mission?" Angel wondered if she should have said that.
Jason immediately shot up from where he had been resting and looked at Angel. “No, never, I would never ask you to give up your career. We met because of our careers and what we are doing is important and if it came to it I would gladly give it all up to be with you. You know I would of thought that you would of liked my hair a bit longer.”
"I don't know, let me get a chance to get used to it, I might like it longer. I've only had you around for less than twenty minutes. You would give everything up for me?" She was dazed by what he said when it finally sank in.
“Without giving it another thought, though I think my entire family would hunt us down,” Jason mused and took his place back on her thigh. She realized what he would do for her, and she realized she was willing to do the same. Angel leaned forward and kissed him adding passion to the kiss as it went on.
Jason was surprised by the passion of the kiss, but he of course enjoyed it. When there lips parted, he immediately wanted to do it again. “What was that for?” he asked as he planted kisses on her arm and hand.
"For what you just said, willing to give everything for me. I don't know of anyone who was willing to do that," she said and tousled his hair before running her fingers through it again.
“Well if you want I will say it again,” Jason said with a little grin on his face,” see if I had short hair you couldn’t do that.”
"True I couldn't. I think I do like it this long. Just promise me you won't grow it long enough for me to trade styling tips. You don't have to say it again, once was enough," she said as she unbuttoned his jacket.
"Is it hot in here?"
“I won’t,“ Jason said, ”and yes it’s getting a bit to hot for my liking.” Jason stopped Angel and unbuttoned his jacket himself and threw it on the floor. “This is better, but not good enough,” Jason said as he began kissing Angel more passionately. She put her arms around him kissing back very passionately.
A few minutes later they parted, and she found herself very happy. "Jason, am I ever going to meet your family?"
“I don’t know if you would want too,” Jason said joking,” of course, though it would be rather difficult to get them here at the same time. My younger brother, Matt and his son are on the Raven at the moment, my parents and twin siblings are on the Hood where my mom is captain. Hey is it okay, if I take off my boots?”
"Yes its fine, make yourself at home, and we could go to them you know. I don't know, I think I would like to meet them, and if they know of me at all, they might like to meet me. Unless you think this isn't going anywhere?"
“I told them about you the day you played that trick on me,” Jason said,” and come on you know that this is going somewhere.” Jason quickly took off his boots and through them next to his jacket. It was strange for him to get to comfortable because every time he did something bad happened.” And if you want to go visit them I’m up for it,” Jason said as he began kissing her neck again.
Angel closed her eyes liking the feeling of him kissing her neck. She felt this was weird though. "Hang on to that thought, this position doesn't work for me," she said and lifted his head moving out from under him. She layed down on top of him, and rubbed his chest.
"Okay, this works better. As for visiting them, maybe we could do that tomorrow, its getting a bit late for that tonight. I know this is going somewhere. Jason, have you thought of our future?"
“Yes this works better for me too,” Jason said as he kissed her neck again,” as for visiting them tomorrow, I’m up for it, but it’s going to take about a week to get there. Our future, yes I’ve thought about it, though to be honest for the last couple of minutes I have been thinking of our immediate future.”
"I don't mind a week in a shuttle with you," she said as a twinkle came to her eye and the smile on her face broadened. "As for our immediate future, what are you thinking?"
“Oh I don’t mind, but I might get sidetracked and never get there,” Jason said as he ran his hands through her hair. He loved feeling her atop of him. “As for what I’m thinking, I was thinking a little of this and a bit more of that and this,” Jason said as he barraged her with kisses. The only reason he stopped was because he didn’t know if he should take it any further.
Angel chuckled. "Not what I meant, Jason, I thought we were talking as in the next couple of days maybe even years. I didn't know you meant that immediate, and why are you stopping?" She said part of it under her breath.
Jason couldn’t help but reflect at the current situation. He knew why he had stopped, but he knew he didn’t have to. They both loved each other and that was all that mattered.
“Well as for the next couple of days, I was thinking of maybe sleeping in a bit, reading, spending time with you and if you really want to meet my family, some piloting,” Jason said with a sincere grin on his face.
Angel realized he was commited to visiting his family if she wanted him to be. "That sounds good, but what about the next couple of months? Or the next couple of years?" She said wondering how long this was going to continue.
“Well if you still want to be with me, then I might ask you to make this a permanent thing,” Jason said realizing what it meant, but knew that he really meant it. She suddenly looked up at him.
"I will always be here, Jason, I am not going to leave you, ever."
She let her words sink in as she got up from the couch. She went and changed into her pj's realizing how late it was. Angel came out of the bathroom and over to the bed.
"Are you ready for bed dearest?"
Jason was going to respond to what she has said, but she didn’t let him as she got up and headed towards the bathroom. It didn’t take her long to come back out, but it seemed that what he had said was not meant to be spoken of. Her remark about bed, made him realize how late it was. Jason proceeded to take of his shirt and placed it on the floor. Since all his clothes were on the Hanson he would sleep in his uniform pants.
“Angel you know that I meant what I said, right” Jason asked.
"Which part?" she asked as she pulled the covers back. "Jason you don't have to sleep in those pants, the replicator does work."
“About making what we have permanent,” Jason said,” as for the replicators, I don’t see you wearing replicated pj’s. There not comfortable and in these well, I’m used to them.”
"Yes, I know you mean what you say about that, but how long before you know? As for the replicated clothes, Jason how do you think I got these pj's. I didn't have anything when I came back in time except the clothes I had on," Angel said as she crawled into bed.
“Okay fine,” Jason grumbled as he headed towards the replicator and got himself some blue pj pants. He then headed into the bathroom and quickly changed. “As for the other question I already know.”
"Then maybe I don't understand, and be comfy, I don't care what you wear to bed."
Her comments almost tempted him to do something crazy and see if she didn’t care, but he decided in the end that he should not. He joined her in bed, but did not cover himself with the covers. It had indeed gotten hotter in the room, but for some reason he was not going to change the room temperature. He began to slowly, but passionately kiss her which took her by surprise. He couldn’t give enough of her.
Angel wasn't expecting that, and pulled away after a few minutes of passionate kissing. "Jason, seriously, we haven't finished our conversation."
“Okay, lets finish it,” Jason said as he continued to land wet kisses all over her exposed body, which included her arms, neck, and face.
She smiled. ~What would I do without him in my life?~ "Jason, what do you mean as a time frame for more permanent? You said you know we are to be together," she said as she noticed he was a bit flushed. Angel unbuttoned his night shirt.
“Well, I’d gladly get married today if you wanted,” Jason said with no hesitation. “ I know that you from the future and all that, but I know we are meant to be together….and if you don’t stop taking off my shirt, I don’t think I will be able to control myself.”
"Then we are considered to be engaged?" She stopped unbuttoning his shirt.
“You know I didn’t mean to stop,” Jason said laughing,” and I have to agree we are engaged, and that means that I will be shopping for a nice piece of jewelry before we head out.”
Angel squealed with delight, then pulled his shirt over the top of his head tossing it to the floor.
“Now this is more like it,” Jason said as he once again began kissing her with love and desire. It seemed like only a few seconds, but his lungs gave way again. “What type of ring would you like?” he asked as he nuzzled her neck which made her squeal and laugh.
"Its suppose to be from you, I know you will pick something special. Surprise me, now its getting late," she said and grabbed the covers pulling it over them. She snuggled up to him.
"Computer lights out."

OOC: This is a JP between me and Angel Paris. This one is also very long.
IC:
The only thing that was missing were the bird songs on the windowsill, but other than that Jason knew everything was perfect. Even though they had slept for only a few hours, Jason felt completely refreshed. Angel's wieght was just perfect and Jason had been twirling with her hair for about an hour. He was not about to wake her, he loved to watch her sleep.
Angel's eyes opened and she stretched hitting him in the jaw. "Oh honey, I'm sorry, I forgot you were there. I just slept so well."
Angel felt guilty now hurting him so. "Come here, I will kiss it and make it better, and if not then you can tell me what I must do to make it up to you."
Jason didn't expect that, especially since his jaw hurt, but he of course would not let her know that. The kiss did make him feel better, but he lied and told her that it wasn't enough.
"Well, we could stay in bed, talk, eat, and kiss a little," Jason offered," I'm sure that will make me feel better."
Angel chuckled. "Didn't we already plan to do this dear?" She pulled him closer and placed her lips on his for a good morning kiss.
"Ah, we did didn't we," Jason said as he returned the kiss. He didn't want to stop, but he pulled himself away and headed towards the shower. Now that he was on the station, he would be able to take a real shower, so he was going to take a lot longer than usual.
Angel laughed, and followed to see where he might have gone.
A little later she walked into the kitchen to see what she could make him hoping to raise his spirits from the morning knock out.
She decided on chocolate chip pancakes, and got to work hoping he was enjoying his shower.
A bit later he emerged, and she put a plate with a large stack down having already set the table for two. "Shall we sweetie pie?"
The only reason that he had ended his shower prematurely was the fact that he smelled chocolate chip pancakes. The one thing that he could never say to was chocolate. Even though he was still wet, he planted a big kiss on Angel.
“You are great, honey,” Jason said as he sat next to her.
"AH! Don't you know how to dry off proper?" She said after being kissed. She shook her head and sat down realizing he looked good wet.
Angel watched him for a few minutes before grabbing her own food, noting how he couldn't tuck his napkin in a shirt he wasn't wearing.
“I like water,” Jason said before he ate his first three pancakes. He did notice that Angel was looking at him, but said nothing. After a few minutes, it drove him nuts and asked her what was wrong.
She chuckled. "Nothing is wrong. I was just noticing how you can't tuck your napkin in your shirt."
“I wasn’t planning on letting anything fall on me,” Jason said smiling. Jason had a feeling that she had just been checking him out, which made him blush a little. He didn’t know if Angel knew that he would stare at her for hours without end. “Do you want the rest of them?”
"You are leaving me some? Aw sweetie, how nice. I have eaten all I am going to eat though." She said and started to rid up the table. She noticed he got up to help her, and she met him halfway back from the kitchen, pulling him close for another kiss. Angel could taste the syrup on his lips, but she didn't care.
“You know I think your kisses taste better than the pancakes,” Jason said as he brought her in closer and gave her a passionate kiss.
Angel put her arms around him and kissed back passionately as well. After a few minutes she pulled back feeling like she was on top of the world.
"Well, we have done some of what we planned, what next?"
“Well after that we have done everything we set out to do,” Jason said looking at the chronometer,” and it’s only 0745 hours. Since we finished so early I think we can repeat some things or go out to the holodeck.”
Angel smiled, "Well I am up for both repeating some of those and going to the holodeck, just as long as we get out of here on time. You do remember that I want to be in open space heading for your brother by one o'clock."
Jason kissed her and then remembered something very important,” We can’t go see my brother, he just left Bellicose in search for Admiral Mc, but I think we can still go visit my parents.”
"Drats! Well then we leave to visit your parents at one. Fun until then," she said and chuckled as she grabbed him by the pants pulling him close again. It only took a second to get him close enough to kiss, and she did so.
“You know I like you this aggressive,” Jason said as he kissed her back. “So what type of fun do you want to have?” Angel rubs his chest, "Do you really need me to tell you all? Let's play it by ear?" She said content at the moment.
“Playing it by ear,” Jason repeated,” well we can do that. Computer please replicate a red shirt.” Jason kissed Angel again before he retrieved his shirt. He would rather stay in her quarters together, but having fun in the holodeck wasn’t bad either.
A smile went from ear to ear. "Well not that shirt I hope, red is okay, but I think you could do better," she said winking.
“So what would you recommend dear,” Jason said smiling. Jason was never the best dresser.
Angel walks over and tells the computer what to make. She hands him a blue green shirt and smiles She then heads back over to the bed and sits down putting some shoes on.
Jason looks at the shirt and then at Angel. He didn’t know about the color scheme, but he would wear it for her. “Well okay,” Jason said as he takes off his red shirt and puts the other one on.
Stands up and moves to his side. "Okay look at me," she said realizing that she wasn't sure about the colors.
"Nope, that's wrong too. I got it, I think." She walked over to the replicator, and then a second later walked over to him again.
"Try the blue, I think it will help bring out those eyes."
Jason gave her another look, but once again he took off the shirt and put on the other. There relationship was going to last for the rest of there lives, but he hoped that Angel wouldn’t want to keep dressing him. Though now it was sweet and he didn’t mind.
“Is this better?”
She turned around and looked at him and sighed happily. "Blue is so your color. So are we ready now?"
He didn’t argue with that, his fashion since was just to wear clothes. Jason was glad that he pleased her and smiled at her,” Yeah, but I first have to put on my shoes.”
Angel couldn't argue with that. "Well, if you think I'm miss slave and going to do it for you guess again dear," she said and chuckled. She winked at him as he sat down.
A few minutes later they were in the corridor heading for the turbolift.
He couldn’t help but blush once they got in the turbolift, he remembered what they had done in it only yesterday. “Computer holodeck 3.” Jason was very tempted to repeat last night’s experience, but controlled himself. If it was going to happened it wouldn’t be because of his actions.
Angel realized why they weren't close now, and she cocked an eyebrow thinking. She leaned against him with her back against his stomach, putting her arms around his neck.
“You are making this hard for me,” Jason said as he put his arms around her waist. Jason moved her hair out of the way, and began to kiss her neck, but had to stop because the lift opened.
"I am not suppose to make resisting me easy dear," she said as they reached a deck with someone coming on the lift.
Before meeting Angel, Jason would of automatically let go of girl, but this time. He didn’t care, he wanted everyone to know that he loved her. “Hello Lt,” Jason said and the lift once again started going up.
Angel didn't have a clue who this was, but she didn't mind. She kept one arm around his neck while putting one down around to tickle him a little.
Jason couldn’t help but laugh a little which caused the Lt. to look over at them.” We should behave,” he said as he began to tickle her.
Angel began to laugh and squirm grabbing for his hands to stop him. She found it was a lot harder than she thought to capture the hands.
The only reason that Jason stopped tickle ling her was that they had arrived at there location. “Lt.” Jason said as he grabbed Angel’s hand and headed out of the turbolift.
Glad the tickling fun was done for now, she followed him wondering where he was taking her. "Okay, now I am dying to know. Where are you taking me?"
“I set up a special holoprogram for us,” Jason said as they reached the destination. “Computer activate Program Fanta , four, one…… After you.”
They entered together, and she noticed they were at a mead owed place. She wondered what was going on.
"Now what are u planning?"
“This was the planet that I first visited,” Jason explained,” since I was born on the Hood, it wasn’t until I was five that I stepped foot on a planet. This planet is deep in the gamma quadrant, so I can never go back there.”
Angel realized how special this was. "Oh darling, this is really special. Thank you for letting me see this," she said taking his hand and leaning on him.
“It’s not as special as you are to me,” Jason said as he got on his knees. He of course hadn’t informed her, but while she was asleep, he had taken it upon himself to find her engagement ring. He took the little box and opened it. “Angel Paris will you marry me?”
Angel couldn't believe what was going on. She found it hard to breath, and thought her heart had skipped a beat as it probably jumped straight into her throat. Tears formed in her eyes.
"YES!"
Jason slowly took the ring from its holder and placed it on her delicate finger. He immediately stood and kissed her. Tasting her tears in the process. “Angel you have made me the happiest man alive,” Jason said as he continued to kiss her.
Angel put her arms around him not wanting this moment to ever end. She had never known one like it, and was afraid she would never know another moment like this again.
Finally they pulled apart from the kiss, and she felt she had to sit down. Angel made her way to the blanket laid out on the grass laying down across it.
“So you are happy, right?” Jason asked sitting down next to Angel. He knew that he would be the happiest man ever as long as he was with her. The picnic that he had set up was ready, but he would not go further until Angel answered him.
Angel put her head in his lap and looked up at him. "I have never been happier. I don't think things get any better than this darling. Is that chicken I smell?"
“Yeah, its rosemary chicken glazed with lemon sauce,” Jason said as he opened the basket. “Want some?”
Angel chuckled, "you sure know a way to a girl's heart don't you? Or at least mine." She sat up and took a leg realizing she wasn't as hungry as she normally was. ~I wonder what is going on with me now.~
"mmmmm... Good food, did you bake or replicate?"
“I made it,” Jason responded,” I love cooking.” Jason took a moderate serving of chicken and bread and ate. He noticed that Angel was deep in thought and asked her what she was thinking.
The words love cooking suddenly hit her hard. She didn't like it when people invaded her kitchen. ~Will it be different with him?~
"I was just thinking about our future, and how we both love to cook. I usually don't share the kitchen with anyone. I was wondering if since you would be my husband if it would be different, but only I can know that answer, with time."
“Well I we can always have to kitchens, cause like you I don’t like to share my kitchen,” Jason responded,” but I know that we will work it out. I love you to much to let something like that stand in the way.”
"I agree, we shouldn't let something like that stand in our way," Angel said as she was finished eating. She put her head back in his lap, and looked up at him hoping to be able to stare into his wonderful green eyes for the next little bit
Jason loved the feeling of Angel on him, nothing beat it. As he looked at her beautiful face, there eyes locked. He could stare into her eyes forever. “You know that your beautiful,” Jason said as he planted a kiss on her soft lips.
Angel was about to thank him for the compliment when their lips met again. She pulled away a bit later and noticed a pond nearby. She chuckled and ran to a tree next to it.
Once in the top of the tree, she looks around for a minute. "I'm at the top of the world, and I have someone who loves me!" She yelled before she jumped into the lake sized pond.
Jason was surprised when he heard Angel’s voice and smiled from ear to ear. He quickly chased after her, but she had jumped into the three before he got to her. He quickly took off his shoes and shirt and jumped in after her. “I’m on top of the world because you love me,” Jason said and then kissed her.
Angel kissed him back and pulled him as close as possible. She pulled back from the kiss. "I could definitely get used to this."
A couple of hours later after more banter and playful attitudes and actions they returned to their quarters to pack.
At one o'clock Angel was in the shuttle bay wondering where he was
They had spent wonderful hours together, and he couldn’t get her out of his mind. It took him thirty minutes longer than usual to pack his belongings. When he reached the shuttle bay he made sure to have some chocolate and flowers as peace offerings.
Angel noticed the flowers and chocolates, and chuckled not being able to stay upset with him.
"Are you ready for this?" She said as she boarded the shuttle.
“No, my parents are going to embarrass me,” Jason said as he kissed her and headed towards the pilots seat.” Do you want to pilot or should I?”
"You can take off and I will land it, but I wouldn't be thinking about who is going to pilot. Unless you are forgetting that we are alone on this voyage," Angel smiled as it looked like he was enlightened by her news.
“Well since I already had autopilot on….” Jason said as he prepped the shuttle for departure. As soon as he had been given clearance the shuttle was out and headed towards the Hood. “I love the way you think you know.”
"I do now," she said as she patted his chest. "YOUR IT!" She screamed and ran for the back

OOC: Joint post with Jason Reynolds.
ONLY PART ONE
IC:
Angel had tagged him and wondered if he was going to play or not. She had run back to the back of the shuttle they were in and hid under the table.
He couldn’t help but laugh at her playfulness, the shuttle was Federation standard and it wasn’t that big. There would be no way that she could hide from him for long. “Angel, I’m coming for you,” Jason said as he ran into the back room.
Angel pressed her lips together trying not to squeal. She noticed he was moving around the table as he was looking for her. ~Is he playing with me? Or does he really not know I am under here?~ She thought still watching his feet.
He couldn’t see her, which meant that she was under the table. Jason got close to the table and stalled. To her point of view he wouldn’t be moving, but in fact he was now laying across the table and put his head under. “BOO!”
Angel shrieked with delight, and tried to get out from under the table without getting caught. It didn't work as he grabbed her by the ankle. "Hey, play fair!"
“Well it’s not like I could hide under the table,” Jason said as he kept hold of her ankles. The fact that Jason worked out a lot made him flexible and so without too much pain, he joined her on the floor. He gave her a quick kiss and than ran for it. “Your it.”
Angel chuckled, and got up. She walked instead of running to find him. He was laying in bed. "You don't get far do you?" She said and winked.
Jason said grinning sheepishly. In a matter of seconds, Jason sprung up from the bed and grabbed Angel. He immediately began to kiss her, but quickly lost his balance and both fell back on the bed.
She puts her arms around him kissing back gaining in passion. Angel didn't want to let go, and didn't want to stop any time soon. She loved it when he pulled her close like this, and hated it when the time they were together was ruined or made short.
They were going to reach the Hood in three days, so they had plenty of time spend with each other and that was what he was going to do. He continued to kiss her and caress her body. He was lost in her and slowly began to undress her, before he stopped himself. “You know that you drive me wild,” he said.
"That isn't a bad thing in my book. What shall we do for the next couple of hours?" She smiled as he looked at her. She rubbed her hand down his chest feeling the muscles behind the cloth.
“I would have hoped that I had the same effect on you,” Jason said as he grabbed her rear end. It completely surprised her, but Jason just offered her an innocent smile.
"Who said you don't have that effect on me? I know I didn't. HEY!" She gave him a look and chuckled when he smiled innocently.
"You aren't that innocent, and we both know it," she said kissing him on his nose.
“I am innocent,” Jason said acting all shocked. She laughed, but soon stopped because Jason put his arms around her and started to kiss her again. They spent a good thirty minutes doing this, but stopped because they both needed some fresh air and get rid of all the sweat.
Angel got out of his arms and found it to be hot. She moved back into the cockpit and sat down in the copilot's seat. She sighed being very happy as she looked down at her hand finding she looked directly at the ring when she did.
Jason stayed in the back compartment for a bit, he had another surprise for Angel. There had been another reason that he had been late, he had gotten her another present. He quietly made his way towards Angel.
“Angel please close your eyes,” Jason said, which she did hesitantly. After he made sure that her eyes were close he placed a matching necklace on her beautiful neck.
Angel felt something go around her neck, and she wondered what he had done now. She opened them and looked down seeing a new necklace. She turned the chair around to face him. "You are going to spoil me this way," she said smiling up at him.
“I don’t think that’s a problem,” Jason said,” so I’m guessing that you liked it? I bought it with the ring, but wasn’t sure if you were going to take the ring.”
"I love it, thank you dearest," she said as she rose from the chair placing a quick kiss on his lips.
"Really? I thought you knew me better than that," she said pretending to be hurt. Angel pouted a little, and moved to leave.
Jason knew that she wasn’t serious and grabbed her and put her in his lap. “Oh, you know I didn’t mean it that way,” Jason said,” I love you, but I’ve also been hurt by other people, but let’s not talk about that.” He gave her a short sweet kiss and hugged her. He knew that whatever happened she would never hurt him and he would never hurt her.
“What do you want to do?” Jason asked,” we can replicate some food, board games, anything.”
"I am a bit hungry, as for board games, you would let me win. So there is no point in playing them," she said as she put her head on his chest enjoying sitting in his lap. She rubbed her fingers over the new necklace and sighed. She placed a kiss on the underpart of his jaw, and smiled.
"Do you know how happy you make me?"
“I could venture a guess,” Jason said smiling,” but I’m going to say almost as much as happy you make me.” That response caused Angel to hit him in the chest, which prompted him to tickle her. Since she was on his lap there was no way that he was going to let her go. “By the way I wouldn’t let you win if we played games. I’m as competitive as you.”
Angel didn't mind being tickled, but she realized he wasn't going to stop. She grabbed his hands and wouldn't let them go. She gave them a squeeze.
"Ah well board games could be fun then. Too bad we can't have a cook off, oh well. Maybe later," she said and winked at him.
“Is that a challenge?” Jason asked as he let her go,” We can always arrange that once we get to the Hood.” This made her chuckle.
"Definately, and don't think you will win. I wouldn't allow that, because then you would have bragging rights over me, and I don't like it when people brag about their abilities like that. Make sure we visit your family first though, I would hate to see them second on our list of things to do when we reach that ship. Dearest, what was your childhood like?"
Jason became a bit reserved and quiet when she asked the question. He had a wonderful childhood, surrounded by his parents, brothers, and the crew of the Hood. The Hood was filled with great memories, but it also had some sad memories. He had left the Hood when he was sixteen to attend the Academy, but he had left after having a huge fight with his younger brother Kyle.
That fight caused them to not talk for years, not even at the Academy. It turned out that the fight were the last words he would ever say to his little brother.
He pushed these memories back and told her that it had been great. He was telling her the truth, but for some reason he didn’t believe it.
Angel could sense there was something he wasn't telling her, but she let it go.
"Yes growing up on a..." she started and found a yawn interrupted her speach. "Sorry, must be getting tired. On a starship is something of an experience, even from where I am from," she said and closed her eyes. It didn't take long before she was asleep.
Jason didn’t know people could fall asleep so fast, but he didn’t care. She was still in his lap, and after making a small adjustment and giving her a small kiss, he also fell asleep.
Angel woke the next morning and almost stretched again, then realized that he might be close and refrained not wanting to hurt him again. She looked up and found she was still in his lap. She quietly got up from his lap and went in search of something to eat letting him sleep in a bit.
Before she left the cockpit she checked the console to see how things were progressing, then went back. She replicated a few hot items, and sat down to enjoy.
Jason knew going in that he most likely was not going to have a nice sleep, but boy was he wrong. The chair was mildly comfortable, but he was sure that just being next to Angel made his body feel good and relaxed. Jason was sleeping soundly until his nose told him that something smelled good.
As his body awoke he realized that Angel was no longer close to him and that she must have replicated something.
“At least you didn’t hit me this time,” Jason said as he kissed her forehead. He went into the back, showered, brushed, changed clothes, and came back out to join her. This time he kissed her on the lips. “I didn’t think replicated things could smell so good”
She returned his kiss, and then continued eating. "When you are hungry enough anything smells and tastes good dear. Good morning," she said before returning to her croissant. Angel hadn't realized how hungry she was, and found she couldn't get enough to eat. She had finished though as he sat down.
"A shower, now that is a good idea," she said as she left to prepare for the day. Once done she returned to where he was and sat down opposite of him. It wasn't long before she started up a game of footsies under the table.
Jason had replicated himself a seven course meal and was halfway though when Angel began playing footsies with him. Her feet were still cold from the shower, but he didn’t mind. For some reason Jason felt like doing something bad and so he picked up his spoon filled with strawberry jam and aimed it at his fiancé. He waited until she realized what he was doing until he fired.
Angel noticed what he was doing and glared at him. "You do that and I guarentee you will be in a lot of trouble. Besides do you really want to make me sticky? You will have an unhappy time of it for the rest of this flight, think about what you are doing, please?"
Jason fired and missed on purpose, which seemed to relieve Angel. Jason once again picked up the spoon, but this time put it in his mouth and ate some of the jam. “You know I would like you being sticky, would mean that I would be stuck to you,” Jason said,” but if you don’t want, I won’t do it.” ~So that's what he was thinking.~
Angel got up and headed out of the room returning with some rope. She tied them together, and smiled.
"Now you are stuck to me," she said and put her head on his chest relaxing. She watched as he finished his food. She rubbed his chest glad that he hadn't put on a shirt yet, and looked up.
“I could get used to this, but I think my parents would have a problem with us being tied to each other with a rope,” Jason mused as he ate the last piece of toast. “I’ve noticed that you do that quite often. Why?”
"Doesn't it feel good for you?" She didn't understand, but then again she was guessing as to what he might like.
"I think that your partents wouldn't like to meet me while I am tied to you," she said and chuckled. "They might think I am a bad influence with us being tied together like this," she finished then winked at him.
“No, I like it,” Jason said,” but sometimes it tickles. And as to my parents I think they will understand that we are tied together when they see the ring.” Jason took her hand and held it in his own. “And you’re a bad influence on me too.”
"Well, I can't always be a good influence, now can I? Where is the fun in that?" She said and pulled him down for a kiss.
Jason enjoyed the kiss, and pulled her closer to him. His hand went through her hair and rested on her neck, which deepened the kiss. It was a bit uncomfortable having the table in between them, but they managed.
Angel moved around the table not liking having it in her way, and put her arms around his neck. They kissed passionately for a few minutes, then she pulled back. She made her way over to the replicator and got Battleship.
“Okay, now you get to prove how competitive you really are,” Angel said returning to the table with the game. They got set up quickly.

“Okay, now you get to prove how competitive you really are,” Angel said returning to the table with the game. They got set up quickly. “Fire at E3!” Jason roared when he saw the space lit up meaning that he had hit one of her ships. He had already sunk her destroyer and light cruiser. He was now working on the battleship. He himself had taken his losses, but he was winning at the moment. “Come on Angel, try to take my ships.”
“I am trying, you aren’t making this easy at all,” she said and thought about her next move.
“Fire at B12,” she said and found one of his ships. She wasn’t sure which, but she liked having taken his sub and found she got lucky enough to sink his air carrier.
“Well, I’ve found another, we shall see who sinks what,” Angel said, and found out she spoke too soon. “You sunk my battleship!”
“Just have to find that pesky live boat and I win,” Jason said as he tried to figure out where it was. It wasn’t long before he decided and fired. His first two shots were a miss, but his third had found its mark. He laughed with glee and looked at the women he loved and his opponent. “Your turn honey.”
When he found her ship she scowled. She fired at another position and hit his ship again. It didn’t take long before he beat her. “Well you made sure I was wrong on this one. Battleship wasn’t really my game any ways,” she said and felt the ship rock a little. They got up and went to the cockpit.
Jason was about to celebrate, but the shutter of the shuttle was something that he did not like. “Computer report.”
“The shuttle has been hit by space debris.”
“How long does the debris run?” Jason asked.
“32,122,300 kilometers wide and 23,200,302 kilometers long.”
“As much as I love our voyage together, we should go through. Too long in a shuttle can make a person crazy,” she said and chuckled. She looked over the time, and smiled thinking of every second they were to be together alone.
Angel noticed it wouldn’t take too long to get though the debris field. “I wonder what caused this.”
“Well the computer shows normal space dust, though I don’t know what could cause a dust cloud this big,” Jason said,” and I agree it could drive us crazy.”
Angel chuckled, and got up. She checked something, and then went to get something to drink forgetting she was tied to him. She was thrown backward and landed on her backside hard.
Jason had totally forgotten about the rope, and when he felt the push he immediately realized what was going to happen. Before he could do anything Angel was on the floor. “Honey, honey I’m so sorry,” Jason said as he picked her up and put her in the closest seat. “Are you ok honey, do we you want me to get a medical kit?”
“No need, the only thing hurt is my pride. Besides it will only leave a couple of bruises. I think its time we got rid of the rope though. Not a good idea after all, what happens if I needed to go fix something in the back when you need to stay here?” She said as she started to untie herself. It didn’t take long to get rid of the rope, and she relaxed in the chair.
“Are you sure?” Jason asked still worried. She just ignored him this time as she untied them. For some reason, he didn’t like this. He loved being tied to her, but he knew that it would be so much better when they got married. “You know if I speed up we can be at the Hood in a matter of hours.” He didn’t know why he offered this, he loved spending as much time with her as possible, but now it was out of his hands.
“You know, I love spending time with you, but I think that is best. Maybe we could arrive tomorrow? That way we can spend some more time together before we arrive to meet your parents. I was just thinking, how long are we going to be engaged?” She said hoping his parents didn’t ask about this.
“Well if it was up to me we would be married already,” Jason said which seemed to surprise her.” My parents will ask by the way.”
“I figured they might, well why don’t we make a little detour on the way then? Where is the nearest starship or star base?” Angel said smiling as she looked into his eyes. She found it hard to look away.
Jason knew what she meant and a smile appeared. He immediately turned to and checked the sector. There were three ships and one base in the area, but to his surprise the closest was a ship he knew well.
“Well the nearest ship is the Hood,” Jason said ,” it seems that they are heading in our way.” Jason hesitated asking this, he thought that it might sound a bit selfish, but in the end he asked.
“Angel, would you allow my mother to marry us?”
Angel was a bit shocked to hear which ship was the closest, but she thought it good. ~I will be able to meet his parents sooner. Wait, what did he just ask?~ Angel thought, realizing what he was asking.
“It would be an honor to have your mother marry us.”
It took a couple of seconds for her response to sink in. When it did he immediately took her in his arms spun her around for a good minute and planted what could only be counted as hundreds of kisses on her.
She chuckled, and tried to back away. “Not that I don’t like your kisses, but if the Hood is only an hour away, we should get there as quick as this shuttle will take us.”
“Your right,” Jason said,” and I think it would be a good idea to tell my parents that we are coming to visit them.”
“Yes, but not telling them. Letting the ship know so they won’t try to kill us when we approach, but completely surprising your parents. They will be so happy to see you and meet me, they won’t want to kill us for springing the wedding on them so soon,” Angel said then chuckled.
“I don’t know, my mom is scary,” Jason said,” but your right.” Jason took a few more seconds and activated the comm.
“Shuttle Destiny to USS Hood, we are requesting permission to dock,” Jason said. The small viewscreen on the shuttle activated and Jason saw someone he knew extremely well.
“Jason is that you?” Dylan, the helmsman asked.
“Yes Dylan it’s me,” Jason said.
“Let me go get your parents, they will want to...” Dylan said before Jason stopped him.
“Dylan, just tell them that we are on our way,” Jason said,” I have someone very special that I want them to meet.”
Angel suddenly felt nervous as they docked the shuttle. ~I guess its too late to back out now. What if they ask all kinds of probing questions about my background?~
“Jason, I think there is something we need to discuss before we greet anyone. What will we say if your parents ask about my background? I can say my parents are not living, that is the truth at this point. But what of my so called history?”
“They don’t need to know,” Jason said simply,” if you ever choose to share your secrets with them, that will be your choice. They love me and they will love you. Plus I don’t think my parent’s have high enough clearance to know anyways.”
“Jason, besides myself, you are the only one who knows I am not from this time. They don’t need clearance for anything. I just wanted us to have the same knowledge, that way if they separate us and we have to tell them separately of my background, we won’t look like idiots with two different stories,” she said and turned to the console.
“Really, you know one day your going to have to share with me how exactly you came to our time,” Jason said smiling. “If that is the case lets just tell them that you somehow lost all your memories after an attack by the Dominion where your parents died. Would that work, if doesn’t sorry, I’m not used to lying to people.”
“It works just fine, and as for telling you how I got here, lets save that for the ride back to Conqueror. If we have time,” she said and winked at him. Angel got up and placed a kiss on his cheek before she got her bag. She was definitely ready to get out of the small craft.
Jason smiled at her response and checked the status of the Hood. He was surprised that his parents hadn’t tried to contact him yet, but it also gave him some time to think. He had brought along gifts for everyone, he was going to make sure to meet his new brother and sister, hopefully spend some time with his parents and he was going to get married.
Angel came back putting her bag by the door, and was surprised it was taking this long. Then she heard what they both were waiting for, “Permission to dock, welcome to the USS Hood.”
Angel settled into the seat next to him and checked over things to get ready for the docking procedure. “Dear, have they seen you dock a ship before?”
“To be honest I have never docked a ship before,” Jason admitted,” how am I doing?”
Angel became a bit nervous. “Slow down a bit, we don’t want to crash. I wish you had mentioned this a moment ago, I would have taken over so as not to worry them in the shuttle bay,” she said cracking a joke to calm them.
“Your doing fine, just ease her on in and please don’t hit anything.”
“Easy for you to say, you’re a pilot and doctor,” Jason said as he eased the shuttle in. When he was sure that he had done it right he powered down the shuttle. “Are you ready?”
Angel groaned at his remark. She remembered he didn’t know about her last assignment, but she wasn’t about to tell him now.
“As ready as I will ever be. Its too bad I couldn’t meet your brother.”

OOC: PART TWO!
IC:
“You will eventually,” Jason said as he stood up and opened the door. It took the door forever to fully open, but when it did he saw his parents. His mother was standing next to his father, both smiling from ear to ear. It surprised Jason how short his mother really was.
“Mom, Dad,” Jason said looking at his parents. Before he knew what was happening he was being hugged by both of them. “It’s nice to see you guys, but I have someone to introduce to you. This is Angel Paris my fiancé and your future daughter in law.”
Angel stepped out of the shuttle with him, and smiled as she tried not to fidget. “Its nice to meet you both,” she said and was engulfed in a hug, which surprised her. Angel couldn’t remember the last time someone hugged her like this, except Jason, and she found it was nice.
Jason couldn’t help but be extremely happy. He knew that his parents would love Angel, but there was always that small chance. “Mom, dad please stop,” Jason pleaded,” you are smothering her.”
“Erick she’s cute,” Kristie said not bothering to whisper which caused the crewman on duty to laugh.
“Mom please stop,” Jason said.
“Why, I outrank everyone here,” Kristie said, but to Jason’s relief did stop,” well everyone is waiting for you, but now we can have a real party.”
“Yes, that is something I’ve noticed. I’m still not sure whether to hug or salute you ma’am,” Angel said showing her true colors right off the bat. She wasn’t sure if this was going to get her thrown out the nearest airlock, but she figured she would find out. Angel took Jason’s hand and squeezed it.
“Hug of course,” Kristie said offering them both a huge smile,” if you can tame one of my son’s that’s the least you deserve.”
“Mom, please stop!” Jason groaned.
“Tame him? Wait I thought it was the other way around,” Angel said noticing how red Jason was. ~Are they going to embarrass him the whole time? Are they doing this to get rid of me?~
“My wife is only joking,” Erick said,” we haven’t seen Jason in years and we promise to behave.” Jason was glad that his father was able to stop his mother, because he really thought that his mother would show Angel his baby pictures.
“Ensign please take there bags to my son’s old quarters,” Kristie said,” now let’s get going….”
=^=Captain Reynolds please report to the bridge, its urgent=^=
“Darn, I’m sorry Jason, Angel,” Kristie said,” but duty calls.” Jason was torn, he wanted to speak with his mom, but he was glad that she didn’t have anymore chanced to embarrass him.
“Go with her,” Angel whispered to him prompting him. She wanted to know what his mother would say about marrying them. She also knew that Jason hadn’t seen his mother in awhile, and thought they should have some alone time.
“My lady, your escort is here,” Erick said holding his arm out. Angel took it and smiled.
“Why thank you kind sir,” she said, and away they went.
Jason was going to ask if she was certain, but his dad had taken over. He kissed Angel on the cheek, excused himself from his dad and ran after his mother.
“I hope my son has been a gentleman, I wouldn’t want him treating ladies improper,” Erick said as they walked toward the party area.
“He is a gentleman, and I haven’t been treated as good as he has treated me in a long time. I once thought chivalry was dead, but I am glad I am wrong.”
“Is she a good woman?” Kristie asked as soon as Jason joined her.
“Yes,” was Jason replied.
“Do you love her?” she asked.
“With all my heart,” Jason replied again.
“Then I will marry you,” she responded, then stopped and hugged her eldest son.
Erick and Angel arrived at the party, and she was being introduced to some of the people who saw Jason grow up. It seemed like it was pick on Jason day as they told her some stories while waiting on him to show up. ~Poor Jason, no wonder he hasn’t been her in awhile.~
He thanked his mother, how she had known was beyond him. After his mom practically ordered him away, Jason headed towards the party. When he entered the mess hall there was an eruption of cheers. He wasn’t attacked, but it sure felt that way. After about thirty minutes of conversation with people from his childhood, he finally met up with his future wife.
“She said yes,” Jason said and then kissed her much to the cheers of the people present.
Angel returned his kiss, and when she pulled back she remembered they weren’t alone. She walked over to a table and sat down feeling very tired all of a sudden. She realized it was the trip to the Hood that was catching up with her. ~No, I won’t let that keep me from staying, unless…. Wait did I see that correctly? Does he really want that?~ Angel said seeing Jason’s expression.
Jason was extremely happy to see his friends and family, but right now he wanted to spend time with Angel. He wanted to leave and made sure that she understood that. She shortly joined him and they discretely left the mess hall and headed towards his quarters.
“Some family you have here, it’s a wonder you ever left the ship,” Angel said amazed at what she saw at the party. She wondered if that was a good time to ask about his mother, and decided to wait. They entered the turbolift, and he directed the computer to which deck they would be on.
“Okay, so what did your mother say?” Angel asked, curiosity finally eating at her.
“She said yes,” Jason said perplexed. He was sure that he had told her in the mess hall. “I thought I had told you before I kissed you in the mess hall.”
“Sorry, must have missed that, but then again we weren’t really in an atmosphere where I could only listen to you. I miss it just being us like we had on the way here. Hopefully we can take it nice and slow on the shuttle ride back, and enjoy each other’s company,” she said as she leaned against him.
Jason took her hand and led her to his quarters. He wanted to be with her, love her, gone from the prying eyes of the Hood crew. “This is where I grew up,” he said as he kissed her and turned the lights on.
Angel put her arms around his neck, and realized this closeness was what had been missing, or at least that’s the way she felt. Angel felt really tired, and got ready for bed, noticing that Jason did so as well. She climbed beneath the covers and snuggled up with him. He turned out the lights, and she sighed happy they had arrived.

OOC: JP with myself and Angel Paris
IC:
Jason was sleeping peacefully next to the women he loved and he didn’t want it any other way. They had found each other only months ago when Angel played a horrible trick on him, but even he had to admit that he was attracted to her even then. As he woke up he couldn’t help but feel happy. The events of the previous day were going through his head and they just made him even happier. That happiness was because of the women next to him.
Jason didn’t want to get up, but he couldn’t help it. So as carefully as he could he got up from the bed not wanting to wake Angel and headed towards the bathroom.
Angel woke up startled when she heard some yelling. Jason came out of the bathroom, and she looked over and remembered what she had done after he fell asleep.
Angel chuckled, "Now, you didn't really think I'd given up pranking you. Did you?" She said still just waking up. She noticed how good he looked with chocolate syrup over his head.
“You pranked me?” Jason asked, but he didn’t need her to response because when he tried to ruffle his hair he felt something extremely sticky. His hand was covered in something brownish, which he immediately recognized as syrup.
“So you’re saying I should of hit you with the jam on the shuttle?” Jason said as he went back into the bathroom so that he could get cleaned up.
Angel chuckled to herself as he went back into the bathroom without her reply. "I bet he made a mental note for later. Well, I know how to cheer the poor guy up," she said and put on an apron. Angel had gotten out a toaster and a couple of frying pans.
It didn't take her long to get the bacon sizzling on the stove.
As Jason showered, he was making mental notices of how to prank her in the future. It would have to be after the wedding because he wasn’t going to risk a big fight. Maybe dye her hair neon green on there honeymoon. These pranks ran through his head until he had finished, which was when he noticed that he hadn’t brought his clothes with him, so he left his towel on and headed towards the bedroom hoping Angel wouldn’t notice and try another prank.
Angel had noticed the shower had kicked off, and she realized she hadn't gotten the eggs completely finished. "Drats, couldn't he have taken another couple of minutes," she muttered to herself under her breath as she tried to get them just right for him.
Angel looked up, and nearly dropped her spatula. She whistled. "Making a fashion statement dear?"
“No, I don’t think towels will ever be in fashion,” Jason smiled as he noticed her reaction. “By the way how did you know that bacon and eggs are my favorite?” "That's for me to know, and if you are very lucky you to find out," she replied trying to remember the task at hand. She felt her cheeks go warm, and she looked down getting back to the eggs.
Jason loved the fact that he could make Angel blush. He was very proud of his body which he had worked very hard to get and he was even happier that it caused Angel to just stop and stare sometimes. Even though he liked this reaction it was now getting cold and so he quickly got his clothes and changed. When he came out he replicated some orange juice and got behind Angel to give her a kiss.
“Do you want me to help you?” he asked as he nuzzled her neck.
Angel took the eggs and put them on a plate, then put the bacon on another and the toast on a third. He came up behind her then. She felt his lips on her neck, and was glad that she didn't pick those plates up. She turned around and put her arms around him.
Angel nibbled on his ear as he nuzzled her neck.
“You know that could have been my best breakfast ever,” Jason said as he pulled her in closer,” but I think I’m still hungry.” Jason kissed her before he sat down on the table where he looked at all the good food. Jason loved food, cooking it and eating it. “Did someone teach you how to cook, sweetheart?”
She returned his kiss, and smiled when he pulled away.
"No, it just comes naturally," Angel retorted deciding the smart aleck answer was the way she would answer.
“Naturally huh,” Jason said as he made a egg and bacon sandwich with the toast.” Well it seems that you have been endowed with great looks, personality, and to boot you’re a great cook. I can’t but feel a bit jealous.”
"Don't be jealous, and I was being smart with that answer. Yes, I learned to cook, but not from my mother. Oh and thank you, what a compliment," she said and winked as she picked up the food and took it to the already set table.
“Well its true,” Jason said as he smiled back. One thing that he loved about her was her smart aleck attitude, but of course he would never tell her that. “You know….” Jason stopped because his personal computer started bleeping. He popped a piece of egg into his mouth and answered the message.
“Son, your father and I were thinking if you and Angel would like to join us for breakfast?” Kristie asked. Jason immediately looked at Angel and saw that she was okay with it.
“Yeah mom, we will join you,” Jason said.
“Good, but first put a shirt on,” Kristie said,” and then you two can meet the kids.”
Angel chuckled when she heard his mother mention the fact that he didn't have a shirt on. "I don't know, I think I like you better without the shirt," Angel said and smiled wickedly.
"Shall we get ready and go?"

OOC: another JP between Reynolds and myself
IC:
Angel changed from her pjs into a nice green tee shirt and some knee length blue jean shorts. She found he was ready and waiting on her, so she put on her shoes and headed out the door.
They quickly got into the nearest turbo lift, and she leaned against the back wall smiling at him. Angel found she was a bit nervous at dinning with his family. She wondered if it showed, but didn’t say anything to him about it.
“Sweetie, it’s only breakfast and if it gets to uncomfortable we’ll leave,” Jason said as he hugged her. He didn’t think his family was to judgmental, but they did have there opinions. He knew that his parents liked Angel, but he was sure that they would have questions for both of them.
The turbo lift stopped, and almost at the same time both of them took a deep breath. Jason couldn’t help but laugh at there reaction as he took her hand and led her to his parents quarters.
"Here we go," Jason said as he pressed the keypad and waited for entry.
She smiled trying to look anything but nervous for his parents as she heard them being told they were allowed to enter. Angel followed him in and she felt him squeeze her hand. She was glad she wasn’t alone with his family.
“Good morning,” she said noticing the table was set, and that most of the food was there as well. ~Seems we arrived just in time for this.~
“Good morning, son… Angel please come and sit down,” Kristie said as she went to attend to the youngest Reynolds boy. Jason had only seen pictures of his twin siblings and this would be the first time he would meet them.
“Mom may I?” Jason asked wanting to hold his brother. His mother hesitated, but allowed him to pick Justin up. Jason carefully took hold of his still infant brother and cradled him just like his mother had taught him to hold Matt.
“Hi, Justin,” Jason said making sure that no one could here him,” I’m your oldest brother which means I will always be smarter, more attractive, and luckier than you. That being said we will always be here for you and your sister. Oh and I want you to meet a very special someone, she’s going to be my wife and your sister in law.”
Jason found it strange that he was holding a conversation with an infant, but that didn’t matter. As he brought him closer to the table, Jason realized that he would definitely want to have a family of his own with Angel.
“Sweetie I would like you to meet my baby brother, Justin,” Jason said as he placed him on his knee for her to see.
Angel took a seat and noticed Jason brought someone over to meet her. “Hello there cutie,” she said and realized that Jason was being serious about this being his brother. A little girl crawled over and grabbed onto Angel’s leg trying to prop herself up. Angel looked over to what might be clutching her leg, and chuckled.
“Well it seems I am popular today,” she said as she picked up the young lady placing the little girl in her lap.
“Well these are my youngest siblings,” Jason said,” The one holding on to you is Lily, my only sister.” As he introduced them, both of them clutched onto there fingers and cooed around spitting air bubbles. “My parents were nice enough to inform us that we had new siblings they day after the fact.”
“Wasn’t our fault, you and Matt were both away on mission and we didn’t want to bother you,” Erick said as he took a bite of his breakfast.
“I think being informed that we have new additions to the family a big deal, plus you had nine months to tell us,” Jason said as he tried to feed Jason a bottle his mom had laid on the table.
Angel chuckled. “Well if and when the time comes we will just have to make sure to do the same thing.”
She wasn’t sure if they knew she was teasing, but she knew Jason would know. Erick raised an eyebrow and Kristie nearly dropped her fork. Angel grabbed her fork and was about to eat when Lily turned around in her lap, got on her knees, and grabbed at Angel’s mouth wanting to look inside it. Angel put her fork down, and pretended to eat Lily’s fingers for a little bit.
Jason chuckled at his parent’s reaction it was priceless. He knew that she was teasing, but he would want to talk to her about having a family. As Jason fed his little brother, he looked at Angel and laughed at her playfulness.
“So what has the Hood been doing all this time?” Jason asked as Justin burped signaling that he was done with his bottle.
“Exploration mostly,” Kristie responded without much thought.
Lily sat back down and leaned against Angel. Angel found it felt good to have the young lady trust her enough to sit in her lap. ~I wonder if this is what it will be like when I have one. Wait, when? Whoa.~ She then started to eat her own breakfast when she found Lily wanted down. Putting her down, she resumed eating, and noticed Kristie was looking her over. ~Do I have something in my teeth?~ She thought not sure why his mother was giving her the once over. “So, have you set a date yet?”
Jason noticed his mother’s attention on Angel and he felt uncomfortable for both of them.
“Well hopefully today or tomorrow,” Jason said wanting the attention put on him and not on Angel.” I have to report the Hanson in a few days and so we will be leaving shortly.”
His parents didn’t speak as they took the information in. His father was the first to speak and his answer brought a smile to Jason’s face. Kristie had yet to speak and Jason finally realized that his mother had accepted the fact that he had found his wife. Maybe she thought that they weren’t serious, but it seems that his response told her that they were for real.
“Oh and mom, I think we would like it if only you two, Leah, and Dylan attended our wedding,” Jason said.
“Who are Leah and Dylan, dear?” Angel asked between bites thankful that the attention was taken off of her. She didn’t know what was worse, Kritie’s attention or the attention of a Star Fleet captain. She then remembered that Kristie was a captain, and was glad she didn’t groan. ~I hope she doesn’t think about trying to get me assigned here, I don’t think I could take having my mother in law for a captain.~ Angel thought remembering that Jason had yet to get her back for this morning’s little fun.
“Leah and Dylan grew up with us,” Jason started to explain,” they went away to Starfleet and somehow managed to get themselves assigned here.” Jason noticed that Angel was a bit intimidated by his mother, but then again few people weren’t.
“So mom do you think you could marry us tomorrow?” Jason asked.
Angel smiled sweetly hoping that his mother would say that she could do so. Angel had finished breakfast as well as everyone else, and she stood starting to help clear the table. Suddenly one of the twins started to cry, and she was a bit startled. Angel almost dropped a plate when that happened, but was glad she had good reflexes and managed to catch it before it hit the floor.
“Wow, she is good and fast there son, you sure you can keep up with those reflexes?” Erick said and chuckled. Angel realized how fast she probably looked, and blushed realizing that no one would be that fast for a couple more decades. ~I’ve got to be more careful or they will figure out when I am from.~
Most people couldn’t pick it up, but Jason knew that she was worried about what she had just done. Thankfully his parents didn’t pick up on anything and just continued as normal.
“I bet that’s what Grams said to you about mom,” Jason said as he stood up with Justin and went to assist Angel somehow.
Angel chuckled and finished putting the plates in the kitchen area. She then sat down on the couch and found his mother sat next to her. She wasn’t sure what to make of this, but she didn’t say anything.
“Do I know your parents?” Kristie said, and Angel realized the questions were going to be about her now.
“No, my parents died awhile ago,” Angel said quickly remembering to keep to the story they had.
“Were they in Starfleet?” Kristie asked,” there is a famous Paris family that serves in Starfleet. Are you related to them?”
Jason heard this question and wondered if she was related to the Paris family. Everyone knew them, but then again everyone knew people from Voyager. Jason realized that her past was shrouded even to him, but hopefully as time progressed Angel would share more with him about her past, which in truth was all there future.
“No, sorry, different person, only one of my parents were human. My mother was Bajoran,” Angel answered hoping not to have to lie any more about her life. She hated not being able to tell the truth all the time, but she knew it was necessary.
“Do you have any other family?” Kristie asked,” I bet they would want to be here.”
Angel cringed on the inside realizing she would have to lie again. “No, I was an only child as were my parents. My father’s parents were killed in an accident long before I was born, and my mother’s parents died of old age a couple of years ago. It was difficult seeing them go, but that’s life,” Angel said wishing they would change the subject.
“Do you have…..” Kristie was about to ask but Jason stopped her.
“Mom, please stop interrogating her, she’s not a prisoner in the brig,” Jason said as he sat next to Angel and took her hand. He knew how hard it was for her to lie and more to people that would become her family.
Angel squeezed his hand happy that the questions stopped. “I was hoping to hear more about Jason’s childhood,” she said looking to his mother.
It took a while for his parents to speak up again, the color in there faces had barely started to come back.
“Well we could always show you his baby book,” Erick said finally able to speak again.
Dad please no,” Jason pleaded,” not before I edit it.” This caused his mother to chuckle and finally speak again.
“Fine,” Kristie said as she went to tend to Justin who was fussing now. Jason knew that she was still not hearing the name of her dead son. No one on the Hood dared say his name, which they did for respect of his mother.
“Mom, I’m really sorry,” Jason said as he went to his mother.
“Its okay Jason,” Kristie said,” its just been a while since someone has said his name.”
“So, how did you meet your husband?” Angel decided to try and change the subject realizing she had hit a nerve. ~I should be more careful with what I say and do. This is the second time I’ve made a mistake today.~ Angel thought.
“We met at the Academy,” Erick said,” I fell head over heels for her. Which wasn’t a good thing because she played hard to get until our third year at the Academy. Our senior year we got married and we both transferred to the Hood.”
“Seems like the Academy is a good way to find the one you love,” Angel said chuckling remembering how they had met. She heard Jason groan.
“So, where are you stationed?” Erick asked hoping that Angel didn’t mind another question.
“I am between assignments right now, but I hope to have one shortly,” she said, and noticed Kristie smiled.
“That means you could be assigned to the Hood,” Kristie said still smiling.
“Well no offense, but I hope not. It’s just too far away from Jason,” Angel said smiling realizing Kristie was just trying to be sweet.
“Plus I wouldn’t let her get assigned here,” Jason said,” it’s a great thing when your commanding officer is a Vice Admiral and friend of a certain Fleet Admiral.”
“Fine but command owes me one,” Kristie chuckled,” though I wouldn’t do that to my future daughter in law.”
“I’m not saying that would be a bad thing, I just don’t think Jason and I could stand it. Its hard enough already him being away on missions while I’m on the base,” Angel said remembering what it was like having family as a commanding officer. ~That was good, they were tough as nails, but I needed it.~
“No trust me it would be a bad thing,” Jason said,” my mom is horrible. I don’t know why no one ever chooses to leave.”
“Because I’m tough when I have to be,” Kristie said,” and I don’t take crap from no one, not even my own son. And don’t think about getting smart with me Commander.”
“Well there goes most of my replies, and I would prefer my name not my rank when not on duty,” Angel said. “No really, tough is needed. If you weren’t tough of people, then things might go wrong or be chaotic. There is a time for play and a time for work. Even I know that.”
“I’m sure that you wouldn’t get in trouble dear,” Kristie said, which caused Jason to stifle a laugh. Angel turned to him and gave him the evil eye before she turned back to his mother.
“I’m guessing Jason didn’t tell you how we met then,” she said not sure what this woman knew of her.
“No he did not,” Kristie said
“Is not important, we just had a misunderstanding that’s all,” Jason said as he nudged Angel. This of course did not go unnoticed by his parents. Before his mother could say anything, there door chimed and Leah entered.
“Captain it’s time for you and your Erick to report to duty,” Leah said as she headed towards the twins. “Leah is the kid’s babysitter and our ‘Get to work’ person,” Kristie said answering the puzzled questioning looks on Jason and Angel’s faces.
“Well, I wouldn’t want to keep you from your duties. We do have some plans to discuss, Jason and I. Thank you for inviting me to breakfast,” Angel said her smile widening a little at the thought of her upcoming wedding.
“Yeah, thanks mom,” Jason said as he hugged his mother. He then made his way to his siblings and kissed there small foreheads. “Can’t wait for you two to grow up.”
Jason joined Angel once again and exited his parent’s quarters hand in hand. He led them back to there quarters where they would be able to talk about some things.
“Sweet heart who are you related to?” Jason asked knowing that by now her grandparents were born. Angel followed him back to their quarters and got some apple juice while sitting down on the couch with a padd to figure out a few things. She found Jason sat down next to her.
“My grandparents are Tom and B’Elanna Paris. I shouldn’t say too much more right now though about that. I looked them up to see how big the family is, and I don’t think I should spoil the future. I didn’t lie about my mother though. She isn’t born yet though although my uncle is,” she said remembering the temporal prime directive. She put the padd and juice down and kissed him.
Jason understood that he couldn’t know everything and took with stride. He enjoyed the kiss which was mixed in with the juice that she had just drunk. “So what are we going to talk about?” Jason asked as he kissed her again.
Angel enjoyed his kiss, and then pulled back. “I was hoping we could talk about tomorrow. We don’t even know what we are doing. I mean do we need our dress uniforms or are we going to do a traditional wedding? What time do we want to get married? I like one, but that’s just me.”
“About the dress and if you want to wear a dress, I want to be surprised,” Jason said,” as for me I will be wearing my dress uniform and one sounds perfect. Though that doesn’t really matter to me as long as tomorrow you became mine and I become yours.”
Angel smiled and put her head on his chest. “Well I think we better let your mother know, that way she isn’t trying to guess our plans. Do you have a ring for tomorrow? I don’t. We need to finish some of our last minute details on this wedding unless we want something to go wrong,” she said getting comfortable.
“I got our wedding bands, though they are simple bands,” Jason said as he caressed her,” and what details are you referring to?”
“Well, we have a time, but do we have a location? I haven’t asked if your father would give me away tomorrow, and I need to do that. I need to get my clothes pressed and looking good. I didn’t know we had bands, but that’s good one less thing to do. Do we want someone to give a toast, and if yes then who? I think if we take care of those questions we will be ready for tomorrow, or as ready as we can be,” she said and looked up at him.
Before he responded to anything she said, he brought her in closer to him and passionately kissed her. He made the kiss last as long as possible and then answered.
“We don’t need a toast, cause no one here knows us,” Jason started,” I already asked my dad if he would give you away. I think it would be best if we got married in the mess hall or holosuite and well the dress, I can’t do anything about that.”
Angel put her arms around his neck and enjoyed the kiss as if it was the first time they had ever kissed.
“Well then we are ready. Unless I missed something? Would you do something for me?”
“Anything,” Jason said.
“Would you show me around this ship? I would love to see it,” she said remembering the Hood from her history class. When she was learning about it though they couldn’t tour it and see the ship for themselves, they had to look at it when they were in the holodeck.
“Of course, though it could take a while,” Jason said remembering that the kids on the Hood would play hide and seek for hours without end. It took five hours to find three children. “So where do you want to start?”
Angel smiled. “Where would you suggest?”
“I’ve always liked the bridge, it’s one of kind,” Jason said,” though I think we should do that last. How about we start at the recreation deck? Which also holds a boutique. I know it’s weird, but the Hood spend a long time in deep space and they picked up some unusual things.”
“Sounds good, but don’t forget the places you used to play and that mean something to you. I want to see the ship from your point of view growing up, but I need your help on doing that,” she said and kissed him on the cheek.

OOC: This is a JP between myself and Angel Paris

“And where do you think I spent most of my time when I was young,” Jason said. He remembered clearly spending fifteen hours on Deck 16 straight for an entire week. Yes his mom had screamed at him for being irresponsible, but it was worth it. “If you want to see places that I spent my childhood, then we will have to visit the brig cause my mom put us there when we misbehave.”
"No, if you've seen one you've seen them all." Angel said and chuckled getting up to put her shoes on again as she gulped the last of her apple juice.
“Trust me you have not,” Jason said,” we were there so much that we prepared ourselves. The brig in Deck 23 is no longer used because of it. Each brig cell is decorated by the kids of this ship. It is an honor to go to the brig and you know I wanted some of that.”
Angel chuckled and shook her head. "Now why doesn't this surprise me. You know, I thought for sure I'd have been kicked out of Star Fleet for something once, but nothing ever happened, kind of disappointed me. Oh well nothing I can do about it now," Angel said and put the glass down ready to go. "So are we going now?"
Yes,” Jason said as he took her hand and led her out of his quarters. He had told her about the brigs in Deck 23, but he felt that maybe she didn’t believe him. So that was the first place that he took her. “See, brig cell number 3 is mine.”
Angel stepped inside and looked around. "Yes, I can see, and I wouldn't mind being thrown in here when I was in the brig last. Oh and no, you aren't going to learn about that," Angel said and smiled at him. She noticed the decor, and chuckled.
"No, wonder you were in here often. What next?"
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Jason said as he put his arms around her. “I have good taste.” They both laughed and Jason led her out once again. The Hood was a ship that you could live on forever. His mother had worked real hard to make the people on the Hood as comfortable as possible, but also keep them sharp and battle ready. “Well, I know that this is the only one in all of Starfleet.”
As they continued forward, Angel pestered him to find out what it was. Jason wasn’t sure if she would like it, but Jason loved it. It was all real, but then again felt that it was a blast from the past. When they finally arrived they stopped and Jason opened the door. For some reason his mother had wanted a complete replica of the Harvard Library.
“This is the Hood library,” Jason said about the room filled with thousands of books. No piece of literature in the room was electronic, they were all paper. “Most of these books were replicated, but we also have an intensive collection of literature masterpieces from Earth, Vulcan, Trill, Klingon, and Bajoran. Some of those are the real things. This was my favorite place ever.”
"I love books, love to read. I can understand why this is your favorite place," Angel said and her face lit up when she saw how many books were around.
“Yeah, I’ve actually slept here,” Jason remarked remembering that he would fall asleep reading a book and wake up the next morning. “This ship is like a colony, not a ship.” Jason would make sure to come here one more time before they left, but for now the tour would continue. “Would you like to see the gardens we have onboard?”
"Gardens? Yes, I think I would like that. Maybe if they are pretty enough we can move the wedding there?" Angel said liking that much better than the holodeck or in the mess hall.
“Well it defiantly is pretty enough,” Jason said remembering the last time he was there.
Angel smiled as she walked with him side by side. ~I am lucky, some women don't find a man who think they are equals.~ Angel thought and smiled. She stopped and pulled him in for a quick kiss.
“What was that for?” Jason asked surprised, but thoroughly enjoying it. She didn’t respond right away, since there eyes had locked at that moment. As he looked at her he told himself how lucky he was to find her. That with her he was complete and his life would never be dull again.
Angel smiled, "I was just thinking how lucky I was to find someone who thinks we are equals."
“Sweetie we are not equals,” Jason said as he hugged,” I will never be as great as you.”

Angel had wished to view the garden, and entered finding it took her breath away, much like Jason did. She let go of Jason's hand, and suddenly vanished from his side. She chuckled and carefully hid herself wanting to play a little.
“You know that’s not fair,” Jason laughed,” there is so much foliage and flowers that I want be able to see you.” That didn’t mean he wasn’t going to try, but he knew it would just be much harder.
"You need a challenge," she cried from afar being able to see him from where she was. ~Oh how cute he is, maybe I should let him find me. Then again, this could be fun.~
“I though that running the day to day operations of a Federation starship was a challenge,” Jason said as he stopped to look at the flowers. He hoped that this would make Angel over confident.
~So he likes to stop and smell the roses, I like that in a guy.~ She thought as she smiled. "While nice of you to stop and enjoy that flower, it is not your future wife."
~She’s good~ he thought as he left the flowers be and continued on his search. “True you are my future wife, but that doesn’t mean I can appreciate other beauty.” Jason said as he lunged forward, but found nothing.
Angel laughed, "No not there darling. Keep guessing though, you might find me after all." She loved playing this game with him. She threw a rock just to his left behind three small trees to get his attention.
“Now that is not fair,” Jason laughed knowing that she was trying to lead him in the wrong direction. Jason moved to his left and he himself hid behind the plants. Maybe she would get tired and come after him.
Angel noticed how he had hid, and tried not to laugh as he was just under her. She leaned against a branch, and dropped something on his head.
Jason felt something on his head and immediately looked upward, where Angel was trying to hide. “I found you,” Jason said as he climbed the tree next to her. “ You couldn’t hide from me forever."
"Now, why would I want to hide from you forever?" Angel said and noticed a pond large enough for what she planned not far from the tree. All she had to do was jump, and that she did before he could lay hands on her.
He was about to respond, but to his surprise and fear she jumped off the tree and landed in the pond on her rear end. The pond was very inviting, but it wasn’t very deep either. It was only about four feet and Jason knew that right now she was experiencing some pain.
“Sweetheart are you okay?” Jason said as he picked her up from the pond and laid her down next to the pond.
"Ooo, that is going to leave a mark, ow ow ow! Will you kiss it to make it better?" Angel said chuckling. She noticed his face, "Well then kiss my lips to make me forget it then hansome."
If she was making jokes that fast, then he knew that she was alright. He did worry that she would lie and say that she wasn’t hurt when she was, but he knew that she hated to lie. “If that is the case,” Jason said as he returned the kiss.

Jason could keep kissing her forever, but knew that people routinely visited the garden. “Honey, you know that I don’t want to stop, but people do walk in,” Jason said as he picked her up and grabbed her hand. “So what do you think of using the garden for our wedding?”
"I love it, the garden is beautiful," Angel said smiling. She walked on making sure not to let go of his hand. She never wanted to let go of him, but knew that soon enough they would be apart again.
"Jason, I think we might have a problem."
He was happy to know that she liked the garden. The only thing that was left to be done was the actual ceremony. As they were walking hand in hand out of the garden, Angel asked a question that surprised him, but most of all it just worried him.
“Really that is surprise to me,” Jason said trying to keep things light.
Angel noticed she had his full attention. ~Haven't I always had his attention like this?~
"Well, its about when we get back. We will have spent a lot of time together, and I might not know what to do without you when you leave on the next mission," she said and looked away from him feeling a bit awkward about this.
Jason had also been thinking about the same thing. He was serving on the Hanson and knew that almost as soon as they arrived back he would have to report for duty. Jason didn’t feel right asking Angel to once again live on Conqueror. She also had her career, but he had heard that the Fighter Wing had been moved to Starbase 47. If that was true then they would father apart, which was something that he didn’t want to live with.
“Angel, I can’t ask you to leave the fighter wing,” Jason said looking at her in the eye. He wanted her to know that he wouldn’t stand in her way.” I want to be with you more than anything, but I won’t make you give up something you love.”
"I've been thinking lately, and I don't want to go back there. That would put us farther apart, and having me go back to the fighter wing means I would have to give up something, or rather someone I love. I just can't do that. Isn't there a way for me to have my career and you?" Angel said trying to think of a way out of this problem.
“I know the last time you were in the Academy you didn’t rather enjoy it,” Jason said,” but what if you come back to Conqueror and take a post there.”
Angel was thinking, and barely heard his comments. Then suddenly they hit her like a ton of bricks. "Me on Conqueror? I would be able to be around for when you returned home, and we could have a place for us on the base, instead of you just having quarters on the ship. That could work," Angel said turning back to him. She started to walk with him again, and walked closer leaning on him a little.
Jason smiled that she was thinking of the possibility of moving to Conqueror and was even more pleased that she was now leaning in closer to him. He did remember to continue on the tour and the next place that he brought her was the bridge, which was now deep into its first shift. .
Angel looked around hoping that his mother wouldn't kill them for stopping by unannounced. Angel realized that this wasn't like every other bridge she had served on.
"Won't your mother put us in the brig for this? And I don't mean the one you showed me."
“No, I almost think that she will make us do a shift,” Jason chuckled as the lift opened and ushered them onto the bridge.
“Jason, glad that you showed up, there is something that I want you to see,” Kristie said standing up. She walked over to them both and whispered,” I’m just kidding.”
Angel sighed relief, although she wouldn't be surprised if Jason was right about doing a shift, even though she knew he was kidding. She elbowed him as if he was suppose to say something.
Jason looked and Angel and remembered what they had been there for,” Mom I’m giving Angel a tour and the bridge was our last stop.” Jason looked at the bridge and realized that to him it was very different than any other he had served on. It had all the Federation technology in it, but it had so many other things.
“Well go ahead as long as you don’t mess with productivity,” Kristie said as she patted both of them on the shoulders and went back to her seat.
Angel thought it strange that his mother had patted her on her shoulders. ~Now why would she have done that to me? I am not family yet, although it is close.~ Angel blushed a little at her thoughts and smiled at him.
"So, what about this bridge did you wish me to view?"
“Well each of our systems is routed to it’s own main computer and then transferred to the ship’s main computer which is the largest in the fleet,” Jason explained,” we also have the largest science labs and department. The science department were the ones that made a cure for the Levodian Flu. What else…..”
Angel was impressed. "I don't know what else, you are the tour guide, and a cute one at that," she said the last part under her breath.
“Just for that I won’t charge,” Jason said making sure that only she would hear. “Well I know there is more, but I can’t think of anything else. Though I’m sure that this ship will still be in service in the future.” As Jason had been giving the tour, the question kept coming up in his mind. Had Angel ever heard of the Hood from her time. “ Well that is it, sweetie. Do you want to go for lunch or just back to our quarters?”
Angel smiled. "I would prefer something with good food, but I would like us to be alone." She winked at him.
“Good food and alone,” Jason repeated,” I think I like that.” He excused himself from his mother and the rest of the bridge crew and headed towards there quarters. Which was the only real place they could be really alone and her remark about good food could easily be fixed. He had wanted to cook for her and this would be the best chance to do so.
When they entered there quarters, Jason immediately headed towards the kitchen and yelled out,” Honey what do you want to eat?”
"No need to shout, I'm right here darling. As for food, surprise me," she said and remembered a look he had in his eyes earlier.
"Dear, earlier you seemed a little distracted in the tour, what was that about?"
“Oh sorry Hun, I thought you headed to the bedroom,” Jason said as he picked up a few pots and pans. At her question he stopped what he was doing and turned to look at her. “I was just thinking about our future and what lays in front of us. I can’t believe that I’m actually getting married to the women that I love. Or maybe I was just thinking of ways to prank you.”
"No this was a different look dear, something a little more distant. I saw it again on the bridge when talking to your mother. I've seen the looks you give when you are thinking of me, but this one is new," she said wishing she knew what it was about. It pestered her so not to know one of his looks.
“I was wondering what you know about our present,” Jason admitted. He would never pressure her to reveal what she knew, but he couldn’t help but be curious. “For some reason, I got the impression that you already knew something about the Hood.”
Angel chuckled. "Well, yes, I have studied it before, but nothing like this. I enjoyed the tour," she said and watched as he resumed cooking. ~What could he be baking?~
“I’m sure that you know something more than that,” Jason said returning to the food,” I know that you know the history of everything that will happen to us, but then again it could have all changed already.”
This left both of them silent for a few minutes, which Jason took the opportunity to prepare the salad that would accompany the prime rib roast that he was preparing. The silence was something that he did not enjoy and stopped what he was doing and turned to face Angel once more.

OOC: JP with Jason, yet again IC: Angel wonders what to say to this. “Yes, anything I knew could have changed, and if I share everything, then that could change,” she said and gasped when she remembered the name Jason Reynolds from the Hood. She cries out, “NO!” Then she runs over to the bed and buries her face into a pillow as she cries. Jason didn’t know what happened, but all he heard was her shouting and saw her run towards there bedroom. He quickly followed and her and placed her in his arms. “What is wrong?” Jason asked wiping the tears from her beautiful face. Looks up into his face. “I do know more than I let on, and I can’t let history repeat itself, or I too must follow a fate I cannot endure. I remember your name, and I remember what I learned happened. I can’t allow it to go on, I can’t go on without you.” “What are you talking about?” Jason asked,” what can’t you let repeat itself?” “I know how you end up, I know what is going to happen. It is very near, and I can’t let it happen. I must change this, or well I can’t even think of what it would be like without you,” Angel said and buried her face in his shoulder as her shoulders shook and she continued to cry. “I die don’t I,” Jason said realizing his own mortality. Surprisingly it didn’t saddened him much, he had at least found love.” How do I die, where do I die?” Angel looked up into his eyes. “Yes, if I tell you there is a chance it won’t happen. Its on this next mission that it happens. In a battle with some ship, a part of the ship is destroyed, and you are in it. I don’t know why you weren’t on the bridge, that wasn’t in anything we had.” His answer caused her to cry more, but he hugged her even more closely. His death would have happened in the prime of his life. He was only in his twenties when he died, but he wouldn’t let that happen. But now that he knew this was going to happen he could stop it and save the lives of everyone who was supposed to die. “Angel look at me,” Jason said as he put his hand on her chin, forcing her to look at him,” I love you more than anything, and I promise you that I will not die this mission.” Angel needed to hear that, and put her arms around his neck placing a kiss on his lips. She was enjoying the kissing and being in his arms, when her nose alerted her back to the kitchen. She pulled away. “I don’t know if you can smell that, but whatever you were surprising me with is now no good,” she said and winked at him. “Don’t worry about it, I prepared two,” Jason admitted not taking the chance that something may go wrong. “ I’ve always burnt my ribs on the first time.” Places hands on his rib cage, “for some burnt ribs these feel fine to me.” She chuckles knowing he meant the food, but she didn’t make a move to get up, or say anything more. “These are fine,” Jason said,” just like yours.” Which prompted him to grab her and start tickling her sides. The ribs wouldn’t be ready for another ten minutes so they had time to play. “ Do you want to give up?” Angel squealed and squirmed a bit trying to get his hands to stop this. She almost had his hands, but missed them on purpose loving the attention he was giving her. She wondered if he noticed, but thought he hadn’t. “I saw that,” Jason said as he placed his hands on her hips.” Someone likes attention,” he said as he got off the bed and headed back to the kitchen. The food was already ready and he quickly fixed the table. “Honey what type of drink do you want, I’m having cranberry.” Angel noticed he left and felt a little sad. ~Maybe we can continue to play later. Maybe that attention won’t go completely away. After all he is cooking for me.~ She got up and entered the dining area noticing the table. “Water please, and honey, the table looks great. You are going all out, aren’t you?” “Of course,” Jason said as he walked up to her and kissed her,” anything for you.” He then took the ribs and placed them in the middle of table. He got her water and another glass filled with ice. He sat next to her and before they started eating he took her hand and kissed it. Angel felt as if she was on top of the galaxy, and smiled. She sat down next to him, and he kissed her hand. “I must be the luckiest lady in all time.” “Nah, I got to be the luckiest man in the world,” Jason said as he kissed her and then drank some of his cranberry juice. Angel blushed, “If you keep kissing me like this, I might become a bit spoiled.” She winked at him, and got some of the ribs. “I plan on spoiling you remember,” Jason said as he took his plate and filled it up with food. There was something else that he had been thinking about, but he wouldn’t bring it up right now. It was something that was bugging him since he saw his brother and sister. Angel chuckled, “yes, I remember very well about that, at least now I do.” She winks at him, and picks up her fork. Angel was about to eat, when she put her fork down. “Okay, now we are going to talk about that too. What gives? A second ago you were all playful, and now all of a sudden you are very somber.” “Honey, I’m never somber,” Jason corrected,” I may be quiet but never somber and your right something has been bugging me. Angel have you ever thought of having a family? When you told me that I was going to die this mission, it made me think of all the things I missed in your timeline.” Angel thought of this, and realized he was right. ~He has missed a lot from when I grew up, and there isn’t much I can do to let him know about it unless I share it with him.~ She thought, and smiled. “I think right now we need to focus on this wedding. Marriage first. I haven’t thought of having a family before, but then again I never thought of getting married before either. I think several little boys like their father running around though is very appealing. Let’s look to what we have now, and keep building on this,” she said placing her hand on his. “As for what you missed, all you have to do is ask. I will gladly tell you anything of my past you wish to know.” “You know I wanted a girl,” Jason mused as he kissed Angel,” your right, the wedding first.” Jason couldn’t help but look at Angel to see what she was thinking. He didn’t mean that they should start a family immediately, but if she wanted to start a family in the future. Hopefully she knew that and wouldn’t freak out. These thoughts disappeared when he realized that it didn’t really matter because he would still be happy with just having her. Both of them ate in rather complete silence. There was no need to talk because they were completely comfortable in each other’s presence. After the meal, she helped clear the table, and it didn’t take long. Once that was done, she smacked him in the back of the head, “YOUR IT!” She squealed and ran into the bed room again, realizing she would probably be pinned in seconds. Her cheeks grew hot and red at this thought. For some reason he knew that he was going to get smacked upside the head, but that didn’t matter. It will enable them to have a lot of fun. He soon ran after her and pinned her on the bed. He noticed how red she was and smiled. “You planned this,” Jason said trying to get off her. He weighed more than and didn’t want to hurt her. As he moved to get off her, she rolled with him getting him to be on the bottom of this arrangement. She put her head on his chest, and smiled. “Now this is more like it,” Angel said as she snuggled and got comfortable. “Yes it is,” Jason said as he grabbed Angel and kissed her. Things were getting pretty hot and heavy. “Are we still going to play these games when we are married?” Angel acted hurt. “You have to ask?” She pretended to pout. Jason was confused for a moment, he thought that he had just done that. If she was going to play, then he was too. He first attacked her stomach and sides which made her erupt in laughter. He then moved to her neck and then arms and then behind her knees. “So are we going to continue to play our games?” he asked knowing that they would forever. “Of course, I wouldn’t have it any other way,” she said and winked at him. Angel had never felt more nervous in her life. She looked in the mirror and sighed trying to keep herself calm. ~It isn’t ever day I get married. Today is special, today we party!~ Angel looked back and there he was. “Are you ready for this?” She said smiling at the groom. Jason had awoken early to make sure that everything was set. He had to make sure that today everything was perfect for Angel. When he arrived to the garden he was more than pleasantly surprised at the décor. He would make sure to thank everyone. That had been hours ago, he was now in his full dress uniform and looking at his future wife. She had yet to put on her dress, which would remain a surprise. “Yes, I’m ready for us to spend the rest of our lives together,” Jason responded. “Well, are you going to the garden now, so I can surprise you with what I dress in? Or did you plan to stay and watch me get dressed?” “I’d rather do the latter,” Jason said knowing that by now both of them were red at the cheeks,” but I have a feeling that it would best if I go to the garden.” Jason gave one more look at Angel, the next time that he saw she would be his wife. The thoughts sent goose bumps down his spine and he for the first time enjoyed them. Angel watched him leave, and then she got ready for this. A little bit later, Angel met up with Erick ready to head down the aisle. “Are you nervous?” Erick asked, and she gulped. “Yes,” she said too enthusiastically making him chuckle. Jason had reached the garden and just like he had asked only three people where there. His future wife didn’t know his friends, but hopefully that would change. They molded him into what he was today. “Jason, I know that you gave me the wedding bands,” Dylan said showing him the rings,” I sort of upgraded them.” “Thanks, there great,” Jason said as he turned to his mother. “Mom, I love you.” “I know, and do me a favor,” Kristie said. “Anything,” Jason quickly replied. “Be happy,” she said and motioned for the doors to open. Erick held out his arm, and Angel took it feeling butterflies in her stomach. They started to walk up the aisle, and she saw only Jason. It didn’t take long before they reached the groom. Jason’s mouth was hanging open and it wasn’t until Dylan discreetly closed it for him did he notice anyone else. Angel for all intended purposes looked like an Angel. “We are hear today to do something never done before,” Kristie said looking at Jason with a tear clearly running down her cheek,” which is to marry Commander Jason Reynolds and Commander 1st Class Angel Paris in holy matrimony.” Angel had chosen to wear a white dress instead of her dress uniform. She took his hand and looked at his mother, who was crying. ~Wow, this must really be tough for her. Well, this is her first son married.~ Angel thought, and continued to smile. “If any of you here object to this union, speak now or hold your peace. If I catch anyone speaking, well two words, dead and meat,” Kristie said and waited a couple of seconds before continuing. “I Jason, take the Angel to by my wife,” he began as he placed the ring on her finger,” since I found you my life has been whole. I have always searched for my other half and I see it in front of my very own eyes. Angel without you I am nothing, without you I have no purpose. Angel you make complete and I will stand by you forever.” She wanted to cry hearing this, but she didn’t instead she took the ring for him. She placed it on his finger. “I, Angel, take you for my husband. I’ve often wondered what my future would hold for me. I thought I knew exactly where it was going, and then I met you. It started off rocky, but turned out really great. I’ve thought about my future again, and I can’t see anything unless you are in it.” “Since there is no one,” Kristie said taking a deep breath,” I with the power entrusted to me by the United Federation of Planets, marry Jason Reynolds and Angel Pairs. You may now kiss the bride.” Jason looked at Angel through his tears of happiness. She was so beautiful and she was all his. Jason came closer to his bride and wiped her tears. “I will always love you,” Jason said as he kissed her with all his love. Angel moved in, and found their lips met. She didn’t want this to end, but knew it had to. She pulled back, and smiled taking his arm to walk up the aisle and to his parent’s quarters to celebrate their new beginning. When they entered his parents room, they found the place littered with wedding gifts. He was sure that there were more than a thousands gifts. “You know that there is three rooms filled with all this stuff,” Dylan said as they entered. “I bet there nice, but I got the best gift of all already,” Jason said as he kissed Angel once again. “Do you want anything to drink Commander Reynolds?” “No, I’m fine Commander Reynolds,” she said as she sat down on the couch, and he joined her. She took one of his hands in hers. They watched as some people came into his parent’s quarters and they all congratulated them. It was very nice of them, but none of that really mattered. The only thing that he wanted was to be with Angel, but unfortunately the reception had just begun. “I love you,” Jason told her,” I will never stop telling you that.” “I hope not. It would be a really sad day if you stopped telling me you loved me,” Angel said and smiled as they held hands as the reception started. Angel noticed the cake, and chuckled looking back at him. “Want to do it right now?” Jason asked, but then got another idea. There was music playing and some of the couples were already doing it. Jason ordered a change in pace and took his bride’s hand. “Will you do me the pleasure?” “Of course, but don’t think you get all the pleasure in this though,” she said and winked before following him onto the dance floor. The song turned slow, and she noticed all eyes were on them making her really nervous. Jason loved being close to her, but when her body tensed up he looked at her, but he already knew what it was. “Let them watch, you have nothing to fear, I will always protect you until the day I die,” Jason said in her ear as they continued to dance. Her eyes met his, and it seemed like the rest of the room no longer existed. Angel relaxed more and put her head on his shoulder closing her eyes to enjoy the rest of this dance. ~We’ve never danced before, and yet we are so in sync with each other.~ The song ended, and someone got the room’s attention. ”Okay, now its time for the groom to dance with his mom. Also its time for the groom’s dad to dance with his daughter-in-law.” Angel looked around, and Erick came up from behind her tapping her on the shoulder. She turned and smiled as they started to dance together. “I’m not sure how he found you, but I’m glad he did. You really bring something good out of him.” Jason turned to his mother, who by now had stopped crying. Though he could tell that it had only been recently. Normally he would find this awkward, but not this time. “Mom, thank you for doing this for me,” Jason said. “I already told you it was my honor,” Kristie said as she took the lead,” It always was a wish I had and I’m glad to see it come true, though I wish your brothers were here to see it.” “So do I,” Jason said as he for the first time in his life took the lead in a dance with his mother. The song ended as quickly as it came. “If that boy of mine mistreats you, you don’t hesitate to come directly to his mother and I. We will straighten him out,” Erick said, and Angel groaned. “Well, that is wonderful to know, but also useless information. Jason would never mistreat me.” Angel noticed Jason was moving closer. He had enjoyed the short dance with his mother, but he wanted to be with his bridge. “Dad, I’m sorry, but I have to cut in,” Jason said as he took his bride’s hand and started to dance once again, but stopped when he saw the cake. “ I think it’s time to cut the cake.” Both of them moved closer to the nice cake the chef had made for them. “The honor is yours,” Jason said. “No, the honor is ours,” she said and put one hand on the knife making sure he had one hand on it too. They cut it together, and put a piece of it on a plate. Angel took a small section, and presented it for Jason to open his mouth for it. Jason ate the piece of cake and repeated the same action, and as she was eating the cake he took a piece of icing and put it on her nose. “Your even sweeter than normal now,” Jason chuckled as he kissed her nose. She chuckled, “thank you dear.” Angel picked up a fork and put it on the plate then took his hand leading him over to a seat. She was about to pick up the fork. “Oh no dear, I know your tricks,” Jason said expecting her to cover him in icing. “You know I’m tired of the reception, I think it’s time we made our exits. What do you think?” Angel chuckled. “Yes, we should be going. Let’s go tell your parents goodbye first though,” she said putting the cake down. She remembered to grab part of the icing though and put some on his cheek before starting to walk over to their parents. “Well, its time for us to go, thank you so much for performing the ceremony. And thank you for representing my family. I hope I can fill the daughter role,” she said finding Jason’s arms around her from the back. He of course had seen her get a piece of icing. He didn’t want a repeat experience with the syrup. Which was why he put his arms around her. “Seriously Dad, Mom, I can never make this up to you guys.” “We know,” Erick said as he let them pass. Before they could leave Kristie pulled Angel to the side. “Angel, you keep him in line,” Kristie said so that Jason could hear and then whispered something into her ear,” my gift to you is already in your quarters. It’s Jason’s baby book that he didn’t want you to see.” "I will," she said for him to hear. "Thank you, mom," Angel said quietly so he didn't know about the book yet. Angel wondered where it was hiden, and asked quickly finding it was someplace he wouldn't look. Angel took his hand, and they exited together.

OOC: You guys know the drill. IC: It had been a glorious wedding night and a tearful goodbye for Jason. He hadn’t seen his parents in years and was sad to say farewell, but it was something that had to be done. Jason had received his orders to report back to the Hanson. “Mom, Dad make sure to thank everyone for us,” Jason said in the docking bay,” our visit was great.” “Come and visit any time,” Erick said as he hugged Jason and then Angel. “They better or I will come after them,” Kristie said as she hugged both of them. Angel didn't like having to say goodbye to her new family. She hadn't had a family for a little bit now, and she had missed them so. She felt like she finally could belong in this time. "Don't worry, you won't have to come after us. I will make sure we visit, or he won't be happy," she said smiling through her tears. Then again, maybe you should come and visit. That way you can see where we work, and make sure I didn't throw him out the nearest airlock." “Don’t cry dear,” Kristie said as she hugged Angel again,” it will make me cry and I don’t cry two days in a row. Plus I’m sure that he has thought about that and will take the necessary precautions of being in space” Angel chuckled. She knew she liked his mom, and could see why. ~She reminds me of my own a little.~ "Yes, he probably is prepared for anything, he knows me very well. I only cry because it is sad to part from you guys. After all I haven't been part of a family for a long time, and you treated me like family since we met," she said trying to keep the tears back. “That’s because we knew immediately when Jason introduced you to us,” Kristie said a rear now falling down her face,” you are one of us now and nothing will ever change that. Now you two need to get going, or I will never let you leave.” "I don't know, that is awful tempting, you kidnapping us," Angel joked, and turned to her husband. “She is right though, you will be late getting back." "I'll give you a call when we get back, just so you don't worry yourself sick. Take care of yourselves," she said, and was about to leave with Jason, when she turned back for a last look. ~Make yourselves happy, kids~ Kristie thought to herself when she remembered that she had one move gift for the new couple. Lucky for her Angel had turned around just in time to remind her. “Kids these are for you,” Kristie said giving each a box which held jewelry that had been give to her and Erick by the Scalosian Queen,” they were given to us for our wedding and know we give them to you. Now enjoy yourselves.” Angel took the box, and hugged Kristie one more time. "Don't worry, your boy is in good hands," she whispered to his mom. “I know, more than capable hands,” Kristie said as she returned the hug and saw both of them walk into the shuttle. Jason had been quiet all this time, happy to see his mother and wife get along. As he prepared the shuttle for take off he couldn’t help, but grab Angel and bring her in close. “I love you,” Jason said kissing her. Angel enjoyed the kiss, and smiled. "We should get going before she seriously keeps us. I don't know about you, but having mother be my commanding officer isn't a good idea in my opinion. Last time that happened, I got it ten times worse when trouble happened, and never got praised when the rest of them did," she shared with him as she sat down to help get them underway. “So one of your parents was a Captain in Starfleet,” Jason said as he waited for permission to leave the ship. “I think we have more in common that I thought.” It didn’t take long for the shuttle to be free of the Hood. Jason gave it one more look and then went to warp. “Computer set course for Starbase Assailant, Warp 7.” "A captain, naw. First Officer, but it still was no picnic. So, are we going to let the autopilot do the work for us?" Angel said as her smile grew a little. “It already is,” Jason said as he picked up his wife and barraged her with kisses. After a few minutes of this, Jason stopped and looked at his wife. “Your it,” Jason said and ran away into the depths of the shuttle. This time it would be harder to find him because he could hind behind some of the big gifts. Angel sighed very happy. She chuckled and made her way to the back of the shuttle noticing the gifts. "Dang, now play fair." She grabbed one of the gifts and moved it hoping not to have to move some of the bigger ones. ~The could be heavy, and I know he wouldn't want me to hurt myself. Hey, now that sparks an idea.~ Angel turned to one of the big ones and pretended to shove it aside. "OW OW OW!" She cried out falling to the deck grabbing her back. Jason heard her cries of pain and immediately shot up and went to her side. He saw that she was holding her back and picked her up. “I’m sorry, honey, I’m really sorry,” Jason said as he carried her to the couch. “I’ll tell the computer to turn us around and let my dad look at you.” Once on the couch, she grabbed his neck placing a big kiss on his lips. She then pulled back and chuckled. "YOUR IT!" Then she turned and ran to hide herself. ~She did it again~ Jason thought as he immediately ran after her. She didn’t have enough time properly hide herself, he quickly found her and placed a big kiss on her. “Your it and I’m on base.” Angel chuckled. "Since when did we get a base?" She didn't wait for him to respond, and placed her arms around him kissing him passionately. ~Well she knows how to keep me quiet~ Jason thought as he returned her passion. Without there lips leaving each other he picked her up and moved them to there bed. He continued to kiss her until he couldn’t properly breathe. “You take my breath away you know.” Angel blushed. "What a compliment. You really mean to spoil me, I can see that," she said and winked putting her head on his chest. "After all, I could get used to this." “Honey don’t worry about that you will get use to this,” Jason said as he returned the wink and began to kiss her again. “ I plan on spoiling you forever, well maybe I will take Sundays off.” "Why would you need a day off?" She said and smiled. "Jason, when exactly did you want to start that family of ours?" Jason was going to respond to her question with a smart remark, but the second question totally stopped him in his tracks. He had always wanted a family a big one at that. “Angel, I would love to start a family as soon as possible, but that doesn’t mean you have to too.” "How do you start our family without me?" She remarked and smiled up at him with a twinkle in her eye. “I didn’t mean it that….” Jason started but realized what she meant. Jason immediately started to kiss the women that just kept on making him happier and happier. “If you want to start a family, I’m in.” "I hoped you would say that. I can see it now, a couple of little boys running around the spitting image of their father," she said and winked at him again. “I would prefer them to take after there beautiful mother,” Jason said as he kissed each of cheeks and then her lips.” Wait did you say a couple? How many children do you want to have?” "Oh I don't know, six or seven maybe. Allow the Federation to really grow with our family," she said and noticed he was a little shocked. “And hear I was thinking about maybe four or five,” Jason said recovering fast. “but if you want we could always add both our numbers.” Angel chuckles, "The bigger the better dearest." She kissed him again. “Wow, twelve children,” Jason said acting shocked,” is that even possible.” "I feel with you anything is possible. We can have twelve children. Just believe, that's all you need to do, well spoil me too, don't forget that." She chuckled and started to tickle him. Jason started to laugh as he was being tickled by Angel. He could easily stop her from doing it, but he found that he didn’t want to. He loved it when she touched him, but by now the pain of the laughter was almost unbearable. “Honey, please stop, I think I’m going to explode from laughter.” Angel stopped and sat up. "Oh no, I'd better run, your gonna explode!" She started to move to get out of bed to run away. “Oh no, you don’t get away from me that easily,” Jason laughed as he grabbed Angel and began to tickle her. When he stopped he began to kiss her neck and then moved towards her face. “Your beautiful, have I told you that.” "Well, if you haven't before, you have now," Angel leaned back against him. "I believe this is a good start to a beau-ti-ful marriage." “I won’t disagree with you,” Jason said as he returned his attention to her neck. Jason spent a lot of time on her neck which was enjoyable to both of them. He then abruptly picked her up to only place her down on the bed. He then continued to kiss her and just for fun planted wet kisses on her. Angel closed her eyes as he focused on her neck. She smiled, and opened her eyes noticing he was watching her. "Do you watch me often?" “Every chance I get,” Jason said now laying beside her,” why wouldn’t I want to look at the most beautiful women in the galaxy?” Angel looked over at him, "You don't go for the little compliments, do you?" She kissed him again, and put her arms around him. “It’s the truth,” Jason replied,” and I think that you should know it.” Angel smiled, and snuggled up to him. "Dear, just think of what might have happened if you didn't forgive me." “You do know that I was already attracted to you when that happened right?” Jason said as he kissed her forehead. "No, I didn't know that. How could I have missed that?" She said wondering what else she had missed. “Well I was still angry at you, but I always had the hots for you,” Jason said. Jason looked at Angel once more and then at the ring on her finger. They were husband and wife and would be together forever. Jason hand moved over her flat stomach feeling how smooth it was. "Well, I don't remember you trying to make a move before that mission," she said and smiled noticing his hand moving to her stomach. "Thinking of our future?" “It was my first mission on the Hanson then,” Jason said, “and yes and just admiring how cute your stomach is.” "I do believe you think everything I have is cute, and was sickbay the first time we met?" “You got me there, but I do think some parts of you are cuter than others,” Jason said,” and no we met during the senior staff meeting where you took my breath away.” "Ah, so that's why you didn't say anything to me before sickbay. You had no breath to speak," she said teasing him. Hits him in the shoulder. "You should have said something to your doctor if you couldn't breath. You might have needed a little mouth to mouth," she said and chuckled. “Well I just couldn’t because I was thinking of how beautiful you were,” Jason said as he finally kissed her stomach. “we can always fix that problem.” "Yes, we....." she started to say, and then got out of his grip running for the bathroom. Jason didn’t expect that, but ran after to her. “Angel what is wrong?” Jason asked realizing that she was playing a game. Angel was rinsing out her mouth when he came. She spit out the water and turned to him. "My stomach is bothering me. Must have been something I ate that is effecting me." “That couldn’t be it, we didn’t eat anything this morning,” Jason said. "Who said it was this morning.... but wait you aren't sick, are you?" She said the gears in her brain clicking together as she thought. “No I feel perfectly fine,” Jason said,” Angel what are you thinking?” "I'm thinking maybe a tricorder and you scanning me," she said making her way out of the bathroom. She turned to see if he was following her. Jason almost ran into her when she had suddenly stopped. “Angel what are you thinking?” Jason said as he made his way to the medical kit and took the tricorder out. "I think, if I am right, that you might find out when you scan me," she said and sat down ready for him to scan her. She was excited, but also nervous. It finally dawned on him what she was referring to. They had spent the last two weeks together, but he didn’t think that it could happen that fast. As he took the tricorder he scanned her. It didn’t take long for the tricorder to report that there were two people in the same area. Jason closed the tricorder and looked at Angel who was visibly nervous. He tried to say something but found that he couldn’t speak. "Jason, what is it, why are you like...." she started to say, and then realized he was in shock. She tried to take the tricorder from him, but he was clutching it too tight. She had him sit down before he collapsed to the deck. "Okay, relax, breath, focus on what I am saying. Let this pass you, and come back to me dear," she said and sat down next to him. He seemed far gone, and she put her face in her hands. A couple of minutes after that she felt him move, and looked up to see him dancing, and badly at that. It took a few minutes to finally hit him, he was going to be a father. This news caused a euphoria to go through his body and he started dancing wildly, much to Angel’s surprise. He then picked her and spun her around in his arms. When he placed her down he immediately kissed her and then got on his knees and kissed her stomach. “Can’t wait to meet you.” Angel realized, by his actions, that she had been right. She squealed in delight. "Okay, so I was right. We're gonna have a baby! This is so exciting, and why are you shaking your head?" “I just can’t believe how lucky we are,” Jason said as he got up and spun her again. “We’re going to have a baby, a real baby.” Angel chuckled. "Spin me again, and you might be sorry," she said and wanted to see it for herself. She took the tricorder in her hands, and almost dropped it. "Dear, d-d-did you c-check that right?" “What do you mean, honey?” Jason asked perplexed. "Well, if my eyes aren't playing tricks on me, then we aren't expecting a baby," she said letting that sink in for about a minute. "We are expecting TWO babies!" Jason looked at Angel, not understanding what she meant. The next words that came out of her mouth were the longest ever. He immediately took the tricorder from her hands and read it carefully. Remembering her warning he didn’t spin her around, but planted hundreds of kisses on her face, lips, and stomach. The only reason he stopped was because Angel sat down on the bed. “Sweetie, we’re having a baby,” Jason said as he sat next to her and looked into her eyes. He couldn’t believe it, but the proof was in front of his eyes. “We’re going to become parents.” "Yes, we are. Hey, don't you think we should tell mom and dad about this?" Angel said and smiled looking into his eyes. “I think we should tell the entire universe,” he said as he continued to kiss her. He just couldn’t get enough of her. “Though I think we should do what they did to me about Justin and Lily.” "I'm going to leave that decision up to you dear," she said as she moaned a little. "I think lying down is best, especially right now." Angel put her hand on her head, and laid down. “I’ll tell them when they can’t catch up to us and kidnap us,” Jason said he got up and found a camera. He walked up to her and took a picture. He wanted to remember how beautiful she was right now and how much more beautiful she would be as time progressed. “Say cheese.” "Oh dear, do you really want a picture of me sick like this?" She said, and noticed he wasn't relenting. Angel carefully got up and moved to a place she could pose for him. "Cheese." Suddenly there was a flash, and after a few pictures she was back in bed. “Even sick you are beautiful,” Jason said realizing how much more he would pamper now that she was pregnant. “Dear is there anything that you want?” "Something to get rid of this drated morning sickness, and then us snuggling together," she said a smile spread slowly across her face. “Well sweetie, I’m not a doctor so I don’t’ know what gets rid of it,” Jason said as he moved to the replicator and asked the computer for something and brought it to her. He gave her the juice and got into bed with her. Angel put the juice aside thinking it was too strong for her stomach. She moved to him as he got in, and put her head on his shoulder getting comfortable for at least a couple of hours. Jason didn’t say anything, enjoying the feeling of having his wife resting on him. The euphoria had not ebbed, but he could sense that Angel was not feeling so well. He put his arm around her and just caressed her shoulder. The feeling was just perfect and he realized that now that Angel was pregnant he would have be careful and couldn’t express his love for her like he did. There wouldn’t be any more spinning for nine months. She was about to close her eyes, when she thought she felt him sigh. "Okay, did you just sigh? If you did, was that a good sigh, or a bad one?" Angel said as she looked up at him. “It’s good, though I can’t spin you around anymore,” Jason said as he kissed her softly. Angel returned his kiss and smiled. "I'm not glass dear, and the morning sickness will go away. I don't want you to treat me any differently. I would miss all of our 'fun' times together if you did that, and I don't think I could stand that," she said trying not to cry. “Don’t get sad, honey,” Jason said as he held her even closer,” you won’t miss anything I promise, though I think it would be pretty hard when you get in the third trimester.” "Well, maybe by then we will have some new ways to have fun. Don't you think so?" She said relaxing against him. “Yes,” Jason responded a bit more relaxed now,” we will do anything that is possible and I do plan on playing music for our kid.” Angel heard part of his response, but was asleep by somewhere around that. He noticed that she had fallen asleep halfway through his response, which caused him to chuckle. He kissed her forehead and made sure to rub her stomach before he joined her in sleep. Angel woke the next day seeing him still sleeping. She got up not disturbing Jason, and felt like a ton. ~That is your mind playing tricks on you.~ Angel walked over to the medkit, and looked to see if there was anything that could help her, and sighed. When she found nothing, she walked over to the replicator, and got the hypospray she needed for the morning sickness. She knew it would take some time before kicking in, and decided a shower was best. He didn’t feel right, it was like something was missing. This feeling caused Jason to quickly wake up and search for Angel. He got his response when he heard the shower going. He immediately checked the tricorder again making sure that what had happened the day before was real. When he saw that it was a huge smile rose. He would shower after Angel was done, but now he would prepare a breakfast for her. Angel came out of the shower and found him cooking, which brought a smile to her face. "Well, if he keeps this up, I won't be able to practice," she said to herself and chuckled. Angel moved in behind him, and put her arms around him making him jump. He wasn’t expecting it, so he couldn’t stop himself from jumping a little. “Good morning love, good morning kid,” Jason said as he kissed Angel and her stomach. “ Breakfast will be ready in a few minutes and I will shower after that.” Angel kissed him back, and then sat down. "So, how long do you think it will be before your son start kicking me?" “Who said it was a boy?” Jason asked knowing that the sex of the child couldn’t be told until a few more days. Jason prepared the plates and placed them on the table. “Though I’m guessing three more weeks.” "Yes, maybe after that you will see how right I am," she said and sat down to the table. Angel smelled the food, and realized how hungry she was. "Mmmmmmm, this smells so wonderful, thank you for making me breakfast," she said as she picked up her fork. “No problem,” Jason said as he kissed her head and headed towards the bathroom. He decided that he would take a rather long shower and for the first time in ages he started to sing in the shower. When he was done he dried, cleaned his teeth and put on some pants. He knew that Angel liked it when he was shirtless. He then joined Angel at the breakfast table and started to eat. Angel chuckled when she heard him singing in the shower. "Well, someone feels good today," she said as she finished off her fourth pancake. Around the sixth one disappearing Jason emerged, and she noticed he wasn't wearing a shirt. She turned a deep red, and put her fork down as she strode over to him. "You know I could always just wear my skivves," Jason said knowing that it would make her blush even more. "It seems that your also hungry, but then again your eating for three." Angel didn't think it possible to turn a deeper shade of red, and was glad she wasn't proven wrong. "Yes, you could, but I would hate to see you in trouble for not wearing your uniform on duty," she said teasing him. "Yes, I am eating for three, and if you aren't careful, you might lose your breakfast to me." Angel sat back down at the table grabbing two more pancakes, seeing there were three or four still left. "How upset do you think mom and dad are going to be when they find out?" “Why would they be upset?” Jason asked as he took a bite of his pancake. When he did that he realized that Angel had taken two more. He chuckled and replicated some more food. "Because we neglected to tell them at the right time. If you think about it, them not telling you about siblings is so much different that us not telling them about grandchildren." Angel raised an eyebrow for further effect, and then went on to continue her large breakfast. “I will tell them, but trust me this is not the right time,” Jason said finishing his second pancake,” when I tell them that they will be having two grandchildren, I honestly think my mom is going to come after us. If we are on Conqueror I doubt she will try it.” "Why would she come after us?" Angel said not understanding this one bit. “She already fell in love with you,” Jason said smiling,” we don’t want to give her a valid reason to keep you with her. She had always wanted a daughter and Lily is still only a baby.” "Oh, well when you put it that way," she said making a face at him. "Well this will give her a good excuse to come to Conqueror then. We will just have to make sure security is tight," she finished her pancakes and winked at him. “I didn’t think of that,” Jason said as he looked at her finish plate,” dear do you want some more?”

OOC: Yup, another one!
IC:
“No dear, I am finished. Now maybe since I cooked, you can do the dishes?” Angel said and smiled.
“Of course,” Jason said as he picked up the dishes and headed towards the sink,” honey when are we going to know more about the baby? Could it be more than one?” Jason had all these questions and he hoped that his wife would know some of the answers.
Angel looked at him in horror. “It might be a couple of months before we know. Bite your tongue, don’t curse us. Can you imagine sitting up with two kids at the wee hours of the morning?”
Jason turned to face his wife and pictured what she had just said and found that he would be extremely happy with that image. He would even be happy with five kids. “You know what….” Jason was about to say, but Angel stopped him with a kiss. “Well if you don’t want to know my opinion, then fine.”
Angel kissed him before he could finish his sentence, then he came out a bit upset. “Now wait a minute, I thought you were being cute, so I kissed you. If you want I can ignore you being cute. Finish the sentence, I want to know what you were going to say, please,” she said and fluttered her eyelashes.
“Cute, I hoped you would have said handsome,” Jason said as he brought her in closer for another kiss. He found that he was being a bit forceful and released her. “Sorry about that and I was saying I would love it if we were sitting up with five kids in the wee hours of the morning.”
“That is nuts, at least I think so. Since when did you start holding me like that?” Angel said a bit shocked that he was even a little forceful.
“Never, don’t know why I got so excited,” Jason answered worried that he could hurt Angel if he ever wanted to express his feelings for her. “Sorry hun, I won’t do that again, but then again I can’t help it that your so beautiful.”
Angel blushed at his compliment. “Darn, I kinda liked it.” She winked at him, “Oh and I can’t help it if you are cute, you just seem to show yourself as cute.”
“Well, hun your just hot,” Jason said as he approached her and began to kiss her again. He had never called her hot, but hopefully he had showed her that she definitely was. “Now, what do you want to do and if you say ‘you choose’ I’m going to say go back to bed,” Jason said winking at her.
“Dear, you have the best ideas,” she said and laid back down almost comfortable.
“I’m glad to know that you agree,” Jason said as he joined her on the bed. As they laid together he couldn’t but help run his hand over her still flat stomach. He knew that would soon change, and it awed him that another life, possibly more, where in her stomach.
Angel laughed a little. “That tickles a little. A penny for your thoughts?” She said realizing he was deep in thought.
“Did you say something dear?” Jason asked as he continued to rub her stomach.
Angel closed her eyes enjoying the rubbing. “I just asked to know what you were thinking.”
“Just how amazing this really is,” Jason said eyeing her stomach. The second that he recovered from the shock of knowing he was going to be a parent. He knew that he would move heaven and earth to protect his family. He would never allow harm to come to them.
“Your amazing to by the way,” Jason said as he kissed her stomach, which made her laugh. “You know I might have to stop shaving and make you laugh more.”
“Laugh more, or say ‘ew’ from all that hair touching me. I like my man clean shaven,” she said and rubbed his chin. “Speaking of which, when did you shave last?”
“After I showered,” Jason laughed,” and just because I love you I will keep myself clean shaven, but you have to promise to give me a kiss.”
Angel smiled. “Now there is something I can definitely do,” she said and winked. She pulled him much closer, and kissed him putting her arms around his neck.
“Enjoy it now dear, there’s not telling how much bigger my stomach will get. Might be so big you won’t be able to get this close,” she smiled, and kissed him again.
“Trust me I will manage a way to kiss you,” Jason said as he kissed her back, but making sure that she was now on top of him. “I will love our kids, but I will never allow them to stop me from kissing you dear.”
“Well then, I have nothing to worry about,” she said and heard the console beep. “Dear will you please go see what that console is beeping for?”
“Of course,” Jason said as he got up and headed to the computer. It was a personal message for Angel. “Angel, it’s a message for you dear.”
“Well, dear, I am finding that I wish not to move from this spot. Would you please read it to me?” She said, hoping that the admiral had come through.
Jason clicked on the message icon and read it.
To: Commander 1st Class Angel Reynolds
From: Commodore ONE, Commanding Officer of Starbase Conqueror
Your request has been approved and you have officially been transferred to the starbase as the morale officer. You are expected to report in at 0100 hours tomorrow.
“Well dear, surprise,” she said remembering she hadn’t told him about this move yet.
Jason reread the assignment orders and ran towards Angel, immediately hugging and kissing her. “I love you,” Jason said,” you know that.”
“Yes, I do believe you have told me before. You can keep on showing it too, I love it when you get like this. I was going to tell you, but this is a much better surprise.”

OOC: I couldn't let a good thread die. This will take place after the current Hanson mission and graduation. IC: Angel was in her quarters busy as usual trying to knit. She hated not being able to do something this simple, when suddenly the door chimed. She wasn't sure who to expect, and told them they could enter. ~Did I forget..~ Angel started to think, and chuckled when she saw who was at the door. She put down the bad knit job and got up slowly from the couch. "Well, now this is a pleasant surprise. Does Jason know you are here?" Angel asked her in laws. "No he doesn't, but I wish he was here. I could tan him good for this, and you too maybe," Kristie said placing her hands on her hips. In strolled Jason looking for his wife, and Angel noticed the look of surprise on his face at his family being in town. She smiled. "They surprised me too dear. Good to see they didn't do too much damage to you this last mission, at least not as much as when I was CMO," Angel said teasing him a little. (Jason)

OOC: For the sake of reason, this will be after the Hanson's upcoming mission. Since for some reason, it has been captured by a regenade Admiral we all hold dear to our hearts. ;D
IC:
It had been two months since he had last seen his wife face and to face and that was all he wanted to do when the crew of the Hanson was granted leave. It had been a very interesting two months, but he was glad they were over.
He would of been at there quarter ten minutes ago, but he had accidentally run into a civillian carrying about half a dozen shopping bags. After apologizing and helping the women out, Jason once again made a mad rush towards his quarters.
As he entered he felt something very strange and then he saw it. Standing a few feet away from him was a petite fiery Starfleet captain, one that just happened to be his mother. At that very moment he wished he was back on the Hason dealing with Klingons, viruses, or reports.
"They surprised me too dear. Good to see they didn't do too much damage to you this last mission, at least not as much as when I was CMO," Angel said teasing him a little.
"What are you guys doing here?" Jason asked forgetting to acknowledge Angel's playfulness which awarded him with a smack behind the head.
~WHACK~
"Oh sorry hun, I was just surprised," Jason said as he kissed his wife and then rubbed his throbbing head.
"Well hello to you to son, and I'm glad that she is putting you in your place," Kristie said as she hugged her eldest son.
"I thought you had been sent on a six month mission to the Beta quadrant?" Jason asked.
"We were, but we finished ealry and we were in the neighboorhood," Kristie said," your father should be hear any minute with the kids."
"I bet," Jason said as walked into the bedroom and put his duffle bag on the floor," you just wanted to see if the babies were born yet."
"Babies?" Kristie said.
Jason immediately remembered that he had in fact forgotten to inform his parents that they were expecting twins.
"Jason Reynolds, are you telling me that you neglected to tell you own 'MOTHER', the women who gave life to you, that Angel was expectint twins!" Kristie said walking up to her son and giving him another whack on the head. "These are my first grandchildren and you don't even tell your own mother!"
For good measure she whacked him twice more before the door rang. ~I'm going to kiss whoever just saved my [word deleted]~ Jason thought as he got closer to the door before saying enter.
There in the doorway were his father and twin sibilings, Justin and Lily.
"Hey you guys," Jason said forgetting about his mother and picking up his brother and sister," you two have gotten really big since I last saw you."
Jason was greeted with a slap from Lily and yanking of his hair from Justin. It wasn't until they realized that mom was there did they stop.
"Why is everyone in my family hitting me today?" Jason asked himself.
"Because it's fun and we can," Jason's father said as he gave him another resounding whack on the head.
"What was that for?" Jason asked.
"Because you did something really stupid, if your mom has already hit you," Erick said as he took the two children and sat them down on the couch.
"You know what dear, why don't you tell them while I change into something else," Jason said leaving his parents with Angel.

Angel shook her head as Jason disappeared.
"Well I know I need to sit, can't be up too long. Doctor's orders," Angel said shaking her head. Both Erick looked at Kristie then at Angel.
"What is going on here?" He said having an idea of what his kids had done.
"Oh nothing too major, I am just pregnant with twin boys," she said and Erick looked like he had suddenly gone deaf or something.
"Twin boys?! Why didn't you call and tell us sooner?" Erick said, and Angel noticed Jason had returned.
"Yes, dear, why don't you tell them why we didn't call and tell them the good news sooner," Angel said sitting back watching him, as if she was watching a dear in headlights.

The exact reason why was no longer known to Jason Reynolds. He had remembered thinking that they would regress to their old ways when he and his brothers were children. He didn't know anyone who would punish there children as strictly as them. On the other hand when, one of them was injuried or bruised they would be on them faster than warp speed. These thoughts brought fond memories to Jason as he changed. He could clearly hear Angel stalling.
~It's a shame I can't do anything in retaliation~ Jason thought knowing that no matter what he would never be able to beat his wife in practical jokes.
"Yes, dear, why don't you tell them why we didn't call and tell them the good news sooner," Angel said sitting back watching him.
"Um, well...you see.....I knew you would....." Jason said mumbleing.
"Well spit it out, I didn't raise you to be afraid of things," Kristie said waiting to hear his excuse.
"Well I knew you get like you always do," Jason said," if you knew Angel was caring twins you might become a tad overprotective."
"I don't think asking for a some time off to take care of my son's wife being overprotective," Kristie said with of face of confusion.
"Well I do, I'm here to protect Angel and when I'm gone I know that she will be safe because we are always surrounded by friends," Jason said," you know you just could of told them that and not enjoy the drama?"

Angel chuckled. "Its more fun that way dear. I would think you wouldn't forget I like to do that to you, even though you've been away for a couple of months," she said smiling. She was happy he was home. She wondered how over protective Kristie might get, and realized it wasn't going to be easy to reassure her she was fine on the base without her mother.
"I just realized, we never discussed if I was to call you mom, by your rank, or by your first name," Angel said changing the topic.
“Dear you can call me anything but Captain,” Kristie said as she cradled Lily,” we want you to feel as comfortable as possible when you are around our family…your family.”
“Mom, can I call you anything I want?” Jason said trying to be funny. His response was clear when he saw his mother’s ice blue eyes meet his own. Angle chuckled.
"So that is how you deal with him. I will have to remember that," she said teasing Jason. "Really though, you don't need to stay and take care of me. I have friends, and other things that keep me busy," she said, and remembered she had to yell again about her sign.
"Yeah like take care of the sign,” Jason said,” I noticed when I was coming here that you still have to get one for it.”
“What are you two talking about?” Erick asked.
“Angel is the owner of a store on the base,” Jason said as he tried to pick up Lily again, who by know was cooing.
"Were you reading my thoughts? It isn't just a store though," she said and smiled. She picked up a padd right beside her, and got up slowly moving to hand it to Kristie.
"That will tell you about it. As for the sign, I've been yelling at them for the past couple of months. Oh well, something more for me to do," she said and smiled watching Jason with Lily. ~Wait til ours come.~ She thought still smiling.
Jason was content to be holding his little sister. He wasn’t sure be he would say that she was almost thirteen or fourteen months now. Her eyes resembled that of their mothers and her facial features of their father. As he was holding her he saw Angel looking at them with approval on her face. He returned her smile with one of his own. ~I love you~ Jason mouthed
“It’s a great place mom, I’m so proud of her,” Jason said as he tickled his little sister.
"So, mom, how long are you and dad here for?" Angel asked hoping to spend some time with her new family. She was also hoping for some time alone with Jason. She had missed him dearly.
~Not long I hope~ Jason thought as he looked at his very pregnant wife. To his best calculations she was in her eight month, which meant that they would be hear soon.
“Not long actually, Headquarters gave us our orders a week ago, but we told them that we had to make a slight detour, a family emergency,” Kristie said.
Angel was worried. "What emergency?"
“No emergency dear, we just told command a little fib,” Erick said smiling. Angel chuckled. "Well, I will remember that. Wow I say twins and they don't care if they have grandsons or granddaughters," she said mocking Kristie and Erick a little.
“They are both boys,” Kristie said matter of fact,” don’t ask how I know dear, I just do.” "I don't think I want to know, at least not yet. Maybe when they are older and we have given you a ton of grandbabies," she said and smiled.
"Its too bad you can't stay for long. We might have to plan something soon, and get all of the family together," she said noticing Justin was headed for something glass.
"Um someone might want to stop him," Angel said looking at the little boy crawling.
“Who said anything about a ton of babies,” Jason said as he picked up his brother. He started to fight Jason, but soon quieted down. “Don’t give them ideas hun, soon they will expect children every year.”
"Don't worry, we could keep up," she said teasing him. She noticed the look she got from Kristie.
"I'm only teasing him. I wouldn't dare dream of trying that. Besides the establishment, the boys, and him being gone like he is, I would doubt there will be too many more without some time passing," she said as he sat down beside her.

OOC: JP between who else other than Angel
IC:
For the first time in a very long time Kristie Reynolds was blushing in embarrassment. She had enough about her to give her daughter in law a look, but she could feel her face flushing and become redder and redder.
"Mom are you blushing?" Jason asked in complete shock but not before giving his wife a smile.
"No, of course not," Kristie said still clearly flushed," you know that I don't get flustered."
"I don't know," Jason said smirking," doesn't she looked flushed honey?"
Angel shook her head and chuckled. "Do I look dumb to answer such a question dear?" she said with a sweet smile on her face. She picked up a padd and started to write something down.
She noticed him giving her a look, and she shook her head. "Dear do you like the couch?"
"Yes, I like the couch, but I would like it more if the person sitting on it would back me up against my mother more often," Jason said as he began to bounce his little brother. This action caused him to coo and laugh, exposing his little teeth. "You will back me up against mom won't you?"
"Even though Justin is young, he knows the answer to that question," Erick said laughing.
"You would think my husband would know better than to go against his mother. I never went against mine, that would have put me in the brig, or if she was feeling creative a stockade for a day or two," Angel said and noticed the look she was getting from her mother in law. She smiled showing a little teeth. She chuckled when she heard Jason.
"I don't mean to scare anyone with my smile," she responded, smiling without teeth this time.
"Your to sweet to scare anyone dear," Jason said as he finally sat next to his wife again. He then went on to whisper something that made Angel blush as well.
She couldn't believe her ears, and felt her face going hot. She shook her head and smiled a little wider. "You are bad," she said loud enough for him just to hear.
"So, shall we..." Angel started to say when the lights went out. She sighed wondering what was going on.
"Now what?" she said remembering the last couple of things that had happened to the station.
"What's going on?" Jason said as he went to find his extra flashlights. Before he returned with them the power came back on. "I wonder what that was about."
"Maybe a power surge,” Kristie said as she went to the computer console.
"Has this happened lately dear?" Jason asked realizing that this could be very dangerous for Angel in her current pregnant state.
"Yes, actually it happened a bit back. The whole station lost control of the power. Something Joan had cooked up though as a training exercise. Other than that it hasn't been. She shook them up pretty good I hear," she said remember people still talking about that. "I hope that doesn't happen again. It would be horrible to go through, especially with Joan behind it," she said remembering the woman from her training mission."
"If it does, I will give her an earful," Jason said," this is a training base, but there are civilians and children on this base as well."
Angel laughed. "I bet she would just love that. She has her hands full lately. They have her so busy she barely has time to create any trouble. Something her mother probably did," Angel said, and found the lights went out again. She groaned.
"That was out fast again," Kristie said. They waited but it never came back on.
"Where are those darned flashlights?" Jason asked as he got on his knees and looked for them. It was no use, he couldn't find them and he finally gave up. "What could she be up to?"
"I don't know, and no one says it is Joan. She wouldn't do that again. She likes to keep people guessing. Commander Reynolds, I hear the language from your mouth again around your siblings you are in trouble, got it?" Angel said beating her mother in law to the punch. She didn't want to think their sons would learn such a thing because of them.
"Sorry sweetie....mom... I didn't mean to say that," Jason said now able to see his family. His eyes had adjusted to the darkness but he was still angry. Angel was most likely correct, Joan wouldn't do this type of thing, which meant that something else happened.
"So what are we going to do?" Jason asked.
Angel got up and went into the bedroom getting a flashlight and shaking her head. She returned. "I have one, and there is a second in the kitchen right on the counter there. I always keep them handy after last time. Who knows what will happen. After all..." she started to say, and suddenly found herself in pain. She cried out.
The second he heard her cry, fear ran through his mind. He almost instantly was by her side trying to find out what was wrong.
"Angel, what is it?" Jason asked," is it the boys?"
"Yes, its them alright. Oh boy oh BOY," she said not liking this one bit. She was anxious, and in pain, not a good combination for her.
"There not due for another month," Jason said but soon realizing that it didn't matter. He had to get his wife to sickbay anyway possible. "Honey we need to get you to sickbay somehow."
"Dad, give me the kids, what is wrong with her," Jason told his dad a bit more relieved knowing that an experienced doctor would be looking after her until they could get more help.
"Sickbay would be a wonderful idea, but we seemed to be cut off from it," Angel said. She heard Kristie tell her not to panic. She made it over to the couch and laid down.
=^=Reynolds to Hood, Transport everyone in this room to our sickbay=^=
=^=Captain?=^=
=^=What are you waiting for!=^=
The next thing he knew he felt the transporter beam take them away from Conqueror and onto the Hood, the place where Jason himself was born.
Angel found herself on a biobed, and found she was in pain again. "Okay, we made it to sickbay. Jason, they are two months early," she said holding her hand out for him wishing he was closer now than they were in their quarters.
~Two, they're two months away~ Jason thought immediately regretting that he was away so much. He was trying to give his dad enough room to work, but he wanted be next to his wife.
"Dad, what's wrong with them?" Jason said as he took Angel's hand.
Angel sighed and shook her head. "Probably nothing. I was a good three and a half months early, and I turned out just fine," she said and screamed out in pain again. "Is there nothing we can do about the pain?"
The medical scans showed him everything he needed to know. One of the babies had shifted inside and was now pushing the other out of the way.
"It seems that one of them is trying to push the other out of the way," Erick said as he picked up a hypospray. "That will help with some of the pain, but I cannot give you much."
"Can you put him back in the right position?" Jason asked.
"That doesn't surprise me. They are anxious to meet us," she said and was a little relieved. The pain came faster and faster as time passed.
Angel was getting really tired, and wondered if she put her mother through the exact same thing.
"So there coming?" Jason asked confused and concerned.
She remembered her mother saying Angel had put her through three days of labor, and then they had to beam her out. She hoped they wouldn't have to do that with the boys.
"Yes, they are coming now and we are not going to stop them," Erick said as he got all the equipment needed. Jason knew that Angel was ready for this, but he wasn't so sure that he was. It didn't matter if he was ready, his children were going to be born today.
"Angel, I know they are early, but my scan show that they are healthy," Erick said," so if you want we can start this now."
"Yes please. I know of no reason to not do this," she said and squeezed Jason's hand. She wanted her sons as soon as they were ready to come, and was glad it was going to be sooner rather than later.
"Okay, Angel, I'm going to inject you with this," Erick said," it should help out, but it will still be painful."
"Less pain is always a good thing," she said really squeezing Jason's hand. She wanted to push, but knew it was better to wait for the doctor.
"Angel, I hope that you have gone to some classes," Erick said. When he got his response he continued. "Ok, when you feel a contraction approaching I want you to push as hard as you can. Remember to control your breathing too. Jason is going to help you with your breathing and Nurse Taylor is going to check your biosigns."
"Someone should teach Jason first," she teased. She started her breathing, and then it hit her. She pushed and hard. It came as soon as it went. She hoped there would be time to relax between the contractions, but she found there wasn't. Another came, and she pushed again. All the while she was doing breathing exercises.
"Your doing great Angel, but I need you to push even harder," Erick said knowing that a women's first pregnancy was always the hardest.
"Alright, I will give it more," she said and went back to breathing as another contraction came. She gave it all she had and laid back when it went away.
They were already five hours into labor and Jason hadn't moved from his position. He could barely feel his hand, but that didn't matter. There were more important things at the moment.
"Okay, Angel one more push and the first baby should be out," Erick said as he told his other nurse to get ready for the baby.
She was exhausted, but knew there was no turning back now. She felt the contraction and pushed with her all might.
The cries of a newborn child filled the sickbay walls as the first child of Jason and Angel Reynolds was born. Both mother and father looked at there son for a brief moment and then turned there attention back to birthing there other child.
Angel was about to continue when she felt a sharp blow to the inside of her stomach. "OW! That wasn't normal," she said concerned.
Erick quickly turned his attention back to Angel and scanned her belly. The sharp pain that she had experienced was not normal and he quickly found out why.
"Angel we have a problem," Erick said.
"What's the problem?" She asked not liking the sound of this. The contractions were still coming, but she had stopped pushing for the time being.
Erick showed them the scan that he had just seen. It showed that the baby's neck was tangled with the umbilical cord. "Angel if you push you could easily strangle your baby," Erick said hoping that her son and his wife didn't sense his dread.
"I won't do so again. What are our options now?" she said really worried. She didn't want to lose a child this early into the new family. She hoped he would be able to save their second son.
"There is nothing you can do," Erick said as he prepared the transporter," I will have to cut the cord with a laser and then transport the child out of you."
"Alright," she said holding onto Jason's hand really tight. She looked up into his face and saw the same feelings she was having.
Erick had never done anything with so much care as this operation. If the laser was a millimeter off he could seriously injure his grandchild or Angel. Normally he would of tried to think of this as another patient, but that wasn't possible.
"Are you ready Angel?" Erick asked as he brought the medical instrument with him.
"As ready as I am going to be," she said wishing there was another way. She didn't know much about this, but she was willing to bet it would hurt if he missed.
Erick almost hesitatingly turned on the laser and looked at his screen. The fact that the baby and the mother were moving constantly made this a lot harder. The laser made contact with the skin and digged in deeper. It wouldn't harm the outer skin, but the muscle tissue was vulnerable.
It didn't take longer than half a second, the cord was cut and the baby was immediately transported to the bobbed.
Angel was scared still. She hadn't heard the second boy's cries after he was transported. She laid back and closed her eyes very tired from this experience. Jason looked at his tired wife, he knew she was exhausted and worried at the same time. He could see his second son, the one they would name Alexander.
"Sweetie, he's okay, my dad is tending to him right now," Jason said as he kissed his wife’s forehead.
She opened her eyes, and looked over seeing dad leaning over the biobed in her view of their son. Suddenly she heard another cry, and was relieved.
"Alright, so what are you naming my grandsons?" Erick asked bringing the second one over and placing him in Angels waiting arms.
Before Jason knew what was happening he had his first son in his hands. Without even realizing it Jason was crying. He was holding his son and his mother was holding his brother. It was perfect.
"I love you," Jason said as he once again kissed his wife.
"Welcome to the world son," Jason said as he then kissed his second son's forehead.
"Well aren't you going to tell us?" Kristie said anxious to know what initial she would be knitting in the next few hours.
Angel returned Jason's kiss and watched him with the boys. She then heard his mother and chuckled. "I suppose we should share, shouldn't we dear."
"They can wait," Jason said not wanting this moment to end.
"Yes, and you are as bad as he is, Angel," Kristie said not liking the suspense. She wanted to hurt her son for that phrase. She couldn't stand waiting like this.
"Also, how can we contact your parents?" she said and Angel almost went pale.
"Don't worry about contacting them, I'm sure they know by now," she said smiling up at Jason.
"Dear I do believe someone's going to have a heart attack," she said teasing Kristie a little.
"Don't ask how they know just trust us that they do," Jason said as he got closer to his parents.” Mom, Dad I would like you to meet Kyle Nathaniel Reynolds."
It took a moment for his parents to respond. They clearly were surprised at the name.
"Mom I know that we still mourn for him, but....." Jason said before being stopped by his mother.
"He's beautiful," Kristie said tears running down her face.
Angel watched Jason's parents for a reaction knowing it might be painful still for Kristie. She waited until she thought it was okay to introduce their other son.
"Mom and Dad, say hi to Alexander James Reynolds," she said and smiled.
“We didn’t forget about you,” Erick said getting close to Angel and Alexander, “hello Alexander, I’m your grandfather.”
Jason looked at the scene before him. He held his son in his arms and his beautiful wife held his other boy. They were accompanied by people who loved them and at that moment everything was right in the world.

OOC: JP between Conqueror's favorite couple... LOL... okay maybe its just Jason and Angel. IC: Angel had been doing nothing but resting and helping take care of the twins. She realized she hadn't written a message to those who still hadn't delievered the sign for her establishment, cleaned up their quarters, or even gotten dinner ready for when Jason returned from whatever called him away. ~Five minutes of peace. That is all I want.~ She thought. Jason walked into the quarters he shared with his family and quickly tried to clean it up a bit. The twins were his pride and joy, but they never stopped eating, crying, and more eating. The quarters were a mess and before he joined Angel in the bedroom he would pick some of the mess up. ~I’m gonna have to find another cleaning agency~ he thought as he picked up a stuffed frog that had what he could only identify as baby spit all over it. He then realized that the room was unusually quiet. “Honey, you didn’t kill the boys did you?” Jason asked teasing. "No, and be quiet, they are finally sleeping. They haven't had a nap all day," Angel responded whispering. She smiled and walked over to him placing a kiss on his cheek. "How did things go with what you had disappeared to?" “That’s a miracle,” Jason said as grabbed his wife in a tight embrace. The last few weeks had been very hard for them. Jason and Angel loved doing stuff together, but since the children were born that had totally stopped. Jason had even stopped working out and it was making him feel even more tired. “Oh good I suppose. It seems that Matt almost destroyed the Hanson and Admiral Drew is the new Academy Commandant. There is going to be a big party, but I don’t think we should go.” "I agree dear. Besides where would we find a babysiter at this hour? I think a nice quite dinner for two, so what are we having?" she asked chuckling a little teasing him. “If it was up to me, we would be having a five course meal,” Jason said as he headed towards the kitchen.” How about a chicken salad or a Caesar salad? I don’t think my stomach could handle a big meal.” “That’s fine dear, how about the chicken salad with a little honey mustard dressing as well?” she asked joining him. She started to peel the skin off a carrot. “So is Alexander feeling better?” Jason asked as he cut the chicken into strips. Alex had been fussing all night and had a runny nose. They were lucky that their mother was an MD. “He still wasn’t feeling good this morning, even had a fever. I took care of it though, and he is doing much better now. I will be happy if Kyle doesn’t get this. Dear after dinner I thought maybe we could snuggle on the couch for a bit. I have a nasty letter I need to write, and could use imput on it as well,” she said happy to not hear a peep from the boy’s nursery. “So they still haven’t gotten you that sign?” Jason said as he tossed the cherry tomatoes into the salad. “No they haven’t, which makes me a tad upset. I have been bugging them about it, but nothing has worked. I figured a nasty letter might do the job,” she said as she added the carrots and chicken. “I do say, you know how to whip up a mean salad dear,” she finished and winked smiling at him. “You know we could just vandalize there premises on the starbase,” Jason said feeling a bit mischievous. Admiral Drew would get angry if they were caught, but it would show them not to mess with them. Angel shook her head taking the finished salads to the table. “There is just one flaw. I am ordering this sign from Earth,” she said quickly and started in on her salad adding just the right amount of honey mustard dressing before the first bite. “You know you just could have gone through my idea,” Jason said smiling before he took a bite of his tomato. “Well then I suppose the next best option is to write that letter.” “Don’t talk with your mouth full dear. Yes, I thought so too,” she said teasing him again. It felt good to be having a quiet dinner. “Yes, mother,” Jason responded making sure he said the last spot very quietly. “Mumbling again, I thought I broke you of that habit,” she said and went into the kitchen where she started to wash the dishes since she was finished. She almost had everything washed when he came in with his. Once dishes were done, she went over to the couch and sat down grabbing a padd. It was nice to have a quiet dinner, something that had become a rarity for them. AS he finished cleaning his dishes, he joined his wife on the couch. “So do you want to tell them what jerks they are?” “Something along those lines, but I am not sure how to get this started,” she said just holding the padd. Once Jason sat down on the couch, Angel leaned into him putting her head on his shoulder. “Well how about the fact that the sign you ordered months ago has yet to arrive or how about, “Is this how you treat customers?” Jason said as he twirled Angel’s hair. Angel wrote her letter in a matter of minutes, then put the padd down. She looked over at her husband, and placed a hand over where his heart was. “Well, that certainly is nice and fast,” she commented on his heartbeat. “Well it has been a few weeks since we have been together without the boys interrupting us,” Jason said as he planted a kiss on the base of her neck." Plus you know that you drive me wild." Angel chuckled a little. “I think we both know wild is the mild term for it,” she said putting an arm around to reach his neck. She started to rub it. “Wow, really tense up in there.” “I know, with the boys and knowing that your brother is responsible for crippling the ship you serve on, I haven’t found the time to relax,” Jason said really enjoying this time with his wife. “Well, you have now. I am sure the boys will be out for at least a couple of hours. Until then consider yourself mine,” she said and chuckled evilly. “I think I will enjoy that,” Jason said as he kissed his wife softly on the lips. The kiss only lasted a few seconds because both boys started to cry. “I knew we shouldn’t have said anything.” Angel groaned and got up to see what they needed with her husband following. One needed to be fed and the other a diaper change. Angel smiled. “Paper, rock, scissors on who changes the diaper,” she said trying to be funny. She moved over to Kyle and changed his diaper. “I’ll rather take Alexander,” Jason said laughing,” for some reason I think Kyle’s diapers stink more.” Angel shook her head at this, and when Kyle was asleep again she stood in the doorway watching Jason with Alex. It wasn’t long before she left that though and headed back to the couch. Angel laid down and closed her eyes. She only meant it to be for a few minutes, but was soon fast asleep. Jason meant it only as a joke, which Angel seemed to disapprove of. It took Alexander a while to fall back asleep and when he finally did Jason noticed that Angel had gone back to the living room. ~She’s so beautiful when she sleeps~ Jason thought as he picked her up and laid her on there bead. “Sleep well my love” The next morning Angel awoke and wondered about the twins. She went into the living room to discover Matt Reynolds with one in his arms, while Jason held the other. “Good morning boys. How are you doing, Matt?” she asked not liking having no time to prepare her looks for company. Jason had awoken early to welcome his younger brother and his son to Conqueror. He had accompanined the Hanson along side Admiral Drew. "Angel they are beautiful," Matt said as he held Kyle. She smiled. “Your mother seemed pleased as well,” she said and chuckled. “Jason, were they fed?” "Of course they were fed," Jason responded hitting his brother," just because you outrank me doesn't mean I won't put you in your place. I'm a good father." "Well he doesn't outrank me, and he should watch it, this is my turf," Angel heard from the door, and noticed Joan entered. "I just had to come see these two, after what I heard. They are adorable. Matt, don't you be causing any trouble, or I will put you in your place," she warned giving him the evil eye, especially after reading the recent reports on the Hanson's last mission. Matt was silent for a second as he saw his Academy isntructor in the doorway. "Hello Joan," Matt said as he hugged the most notorious troublemaker in Section 47. Joan smiled and returned the hug. “Man, it has been too long. You and I should have a sit down somewhere soon. If you keep being trouble in the academy, it might be my new office. Oh and Angel, something was beamed into my office, it had your name on it, and it’s extremely hard to walk around,” she said chuckling. Angel gasped. “I’ll tell the guys and they will get that out of your hair. Thanks for letting me know. Shall we consider enjoying this gathering over breakfast?” She asked inviting both newcomers. "Yeah, Joan I would really like that," Matt responded," I would like to see Leena as well. By the way I would like you to meet my son Caleb." Jason saw Joan's face. It was priceless. "I know I was surprised too." She let the shock fade. “I’m sure she would love to see you again, Matt. She is busy right now, not sure what with though. That one doesn’t share much with me when it comes to her habits. I don’t ask either, I figure it is safer that way,” she said chuckling. “By the way, who in their right mind would entrust you with a child?” "I chose him," Caleb said mad that this stranger would talk bad about his father," I thought you said she was a good person Matt." “The jury is still out on how good I am. It is good to meet you, Caleb. As for breakfast, I wouldn’t want to be any trouble,” she said noticing the shocked look on Matt’s face. “What? You try having a mom like mine, we will see how you have fun,” she said and smiled. "Well we should actually sit down then," Jason said as he gave Alexander to Angel and went to the replicator. "We would normally go out, but the boys have been fussy." “I’m sure they don’t mind, sweetie,” Angel responded, then elbowed Joan. “Stay, please. Another girl around would be nice,” she whispered, and Joan just smiled wider and nodded. They all sat, and Angel made sure Joan was on one side of her. After breakfast, the boys laid down for their morning nap, and the officers sat down to chat.

OOC: This Jp was between who else but Angel Reynolds alongside with my brother Matthew Reynolds and Joan McCormick.
IC:
It wasn't everyday that Jason could spend time with his younger brother. In fact he hadn't seen him the last time he had arrived on Conqueror. He looked so much older than the last time he had seen him. Maybe it was the fact that in the last year and a half he had been involved in many battles and scrapes. Jason knew that he would be furious with him, if he ever found out that he had seen his medical record.
Then of course there was his son, Caleb. The boy had a mouth on him, but he loved Matt. It had made him laugh to see him defend him against Joan's jokes. ~He's to smart for his own good~ Jason thought as placed some of the food in the middle of table.
"Okay, Matt please don't eat everything," Jason said picking on his little brother," though I doubt that Angel will let you."
"I'm more worried about you eating everything than him dear," she said teasing Jason instead of picking on Matt. She knew there would be plenty of time to tease Matt as well, but she knew Jason better, making him an easier target.
She put the baby monitor between Jason and herself hoping the boys would sleep through their breakfast, for maybe the first time ever.
"So, Matt, how did you and Caleb meet?" she asked.
"Well, it’s rather complicated," Matt said looking at his son," I crash landed on a planet that goes into subspace every two weeks. We found millions of people, including Captain Voran and Commander Smith, who was an instructor on the Hepta. We couldn't take them all, so we had to take a few people and I made sure to take Caleb with me. We have been together ever since. The cloud we found him in hasn't resurfaced since."
"Well, it’s good to have him with us. Family is family," Angel said remembering something, but not saying a word. She wondered just how well she could trust her new brother and his son. She wanted to tell all the Reynolds about her travels through time, but wasn't sure it was wise. She had hoped she would have to tell them because of a slip up, but Jason and she had been good enough not to slip once.
"Would you pass the ketchup?"
"Here you go," Matt said as he ate his eggs," we both have been through a lot. We were even trapped in the 31st century for a while."
Angel almost choked when she heard this. "What happened while you were in the 31st century?" She asked curious to learn if they met anyone she knew.
"Thanks," she said after getting the ketchup, and put some on her hash browns.
"Well it was horrible actually," Matt said," the Federation was no more than a futuristic Syndicate. We were involved with people called Loriens and saved there base. Q did this that, and I'm pretty sure I will see him again."
Angel frowned realizing exactly where Q had sent them. She wondered if perhaps The Continuum was responsible for her being in the past, but she didn't think on it for too long.
Joan had been silent watching and listening. She noticed something on Angel's face.
"You know anything about that?" Joan asked Angel, who seemed not to answer.
"Now why would she know anything about that," Jason said giving Joan a look of extreme displeasure. Joan knew about Angel's past, which was everyone's distance future.
"Would you guys like anything else?" Jason said trying very hard to change the subject.
"Do you have ice cream?" Caleb asked.
"I am sure that can be replicated, but isn't it a little early for ice cream?" Angel said feeling a bit maternal.
"It's never too early for ice cream, though dad always puts a force field around the replicator while he’s on duty," Caleb said.
Joan chuckled. "Now why doesn't that surprise me? Matt always loved a good prank."
"Interesting, maybe we should share about how we met dear," Angel said right after Joan.
"It's not a prank, Joan," Matt said," if I don't, he'll have a sugar attack. The first food I ever gave him was ice cream. That was a big mistake."
"Let's not," Jason said as he gulfed down another pancake.
Both women chuckled. "Matt, I may be just a kid myself, but even I know you don't introduce any child to ice cream first off," Joan said shaking her head.
Angel got up and started to clear away the empty plates of those who were done.
"Look how was I supposed to know," Matt said laughing," I'm the youngest one here and I didn't think being a father would be that hard."
"Matt, I don't look forward to being a mom, in fact I am thinking of never doing it. Mom had the right idea till I came along," Joan said smiling really wide.
Angel shook her head. "Joan, that is wrong. Being a mom is great. As for parenting, you learn as you go Matt. We are still learning how to be parents, and we have two of them."
"Well, let me tell you this, if you think raising a baby is tough just wait," Matt said glad that they understood. "And isn't there anything else to eat?"
"The replicator is over there, Matt. I am sure you know what you want to eat better than us. As for kids, I don't think this job gets any easier, only harder," Angel said noticing Joan was just listening again. She wondered what Joan was up to.
"Joan, please for all that is holy, please do not do any pranks on me," Matt said before he got up from the table.
"Matt, you worry too much. Besides what is to keep any pranks I do from getting back to my mother? Do you know what she would do to me if I pulled one?" Joan responded and just sat back not sure what to say. She waited until both Matt and Caleb went to the replicator for more food.
"Say, what is up with you two? Doesn't his family know about you yet?" Joan asked and Angel just shook her head.
"I haven't told him yet," Jason said," we haven't told my parents either."
"What are you two waiting for?" Joan asked keeping an eye on where Matt and Caleb where since they didn't know. She didn't want to be the one to spill the beans on this topic.
"It's kind of hard to bring that topic up in normal conversation," Jason whispered right before both of them returned.
~There hiding something from us, dad,~ Caleb said looking at the three. Matt long ago had discovered that he and Caleb shared a mental link. It had grown in the recent months.
"Sharing secrets without us?" Matt asked.
Angel shushed him, hoping he would remember the boys were asleep. She didn't want them shouting across the room.
~They are all interesting~ Caleb said as he ate his ice cream.
"Sorry, if I was loud," Matt said as he slurped down some pasta. He knew it was breakfast, but he never allowed himself the pleasure of eating without thought.
"It's alright. If I wasn't their mom, I might forget they are there too," she said and chuckled a little. She noticed Jason was giving her a look.
Jason did not like where this conversation was going and hoped that it would abruptly end. He looked at his wife and decided that he would go check on the boys.
"I'm going to check on them, they've been to quiet," Jason said as he kissed his wife on the cheek.
"Alright, let me know if there is trouble. After all, they are my sons," she said and smiled really big.
"So, Matt, where is it you have landed in the fleet? I don't believe I have heard just yet, but I would like to know," Joan said realizing she was asking for trouble
"Well, I've served on the Jefferson most of time as the Ops, science, and first officer," Matt said," though I was transferred to the Raven for a while as the FO. And I've heard that you have been promoted as well."
Joan shrugged. "Depends on what promotions you have heard about. Besides I know the truth. Mom is just trying to keep me under her thumb more," she responded and chuckled.
"Admiral Drew is no longer my boss because he is the new Academy Commandant and he told me that the Asst. Academy Commandant was none other than my old instructor," Matt said.
"Yes, that's true enough. We had a nice party for the new Commandant. I think it shocked him a little, which is what I was going for. Now I just hope he is the fun and fancy free type," she said wondering if she should help clear the dishes, which was what Angel was doing.
"Trust me the Admiral is great man, though I'm sure Jason can tell you that himself," Matt said as he got up and started to wash the dishes.
Angel helped to dry and put them away. "I had heard that. I don't know if I look forward to seeing him again. I pulled a prank on him once several missions ago, and I don't know if he has forgotten it. I hope so," Angel said, and saw Joan smile.
"Should we be asking about this prank?" She asked, and Angel didn't say anything in response shaking her head and chuckling.
Jason finally returned back to the group with Alexander and Kyle in arms. "They woke up while I was there," Jason said handing Kyle to Matt. He was pretty sure they wouldn't pull any pranks while they were holding the babies.
"Aw, they are so cute. May I hold him, Jason?" Joan asked moving beside Jason. She hoped he would say yes.
Jason was about to say no to see how Joan would react, but he handed her his first born child. "Watch out, he likes to spit," Jason said hoping she would keep that in mind.
"A little spit never hurt anyone, Jason. Besides the only one to yell at me for a dirty uniform would be Drew or mom, and I don't think mom is visiting any time soon. I might be safe on that one," she said smiling and cradling the baby. She made faces at Alex hoping to make the baby laugh.
"Joan what are you planning?" Matt asked knowing that Joan no matter what the situation would try and pull of a prank. She just couldn't help herself. It was written into her DNA.
Joan stopped making faces to answer Matt. "I am only planning to relax, have a little fun later, and enjoy the good company I am in now. What makes you ask questions like that?" She said and heard Angel laugh. Joan knew the answer, but felt like asking any ways.
"Well lets see, first of all I trained under you," Matt said smirking," the first act you did as my instructor was put a whoopee cushion under the Captain Marcell's chair. You've pranked Admiral's, so three Commander's are nothing to you. Should I go on?"
Joan laughed. "Oh no, no need. I would think by now you would know that rank has never mattered. I will be reprimanded, court martialed, or gotten even with. I know who I work with, all except the new Commandant. I don't know him well enough, but with time, I'm sure I will get one in on him too," Joan said, and continued to pay Alex some attention.
"I wouldn't if I were you, Joan. I still am waiting to see what that admiral will do to me when we meet next. I don't think it wise you should do so. There is no telling what he is capable of. Right, dear?" Angel said trying to dissuade Joan.
"That's like telling you not to play pranks dear," Jason said trying to get as close to Matt and Kyle as possible. "They have something up their sleeves."
"I know, but I don't know what it could be," Matt whispered back.
Angel just smiled really big at her husband. She knew what was going on, but she wasn't about to tell them any more than Joan was. She thought this was too much fun.
Using Leena as the go between, both ladies had planned a good prank for both men. They wanted to wait a little bit before actually proceeding though.
"Something is seriously up," Jason said accepting the fact that he will get pranked today.
