(T'Rok along with two security officers was slowly pacing down the corridors with phaser rifles raised. Normally the search would be over in a matter of 10 minutes but unfortunately the internal sensors were misaligned and there were few people working to rectify the problem as most of the science department's focus was on discovering the new planet and much of the crew was enjoying the shore leave that the captain announced just minutes ago. He was assured though that internal sensors would be back up in a couple of hours.
For now T'Rok and his security team were forced to do quarter to quarter checks. His team's first destination would be Ensign Tom Bailey who was one of the officers who escaped from the brig. T'Rok chimed the door for Ensign Bailey's quarters but got no answer)
T'Rok: This is Lieutenant T'Rok. Open this door or I will let myself in.
(No answer came and T'Rok entered with the two security officers behind him. He noticed Ensign Bailey sitting at his desk with his computer turned on. Suddenly he tapped a device on his shoulder and he disappeared in a bright blue transport beam before any of the stun setting phaser fire could make impact.)
T'Rok: Damnit.
(T'Rok banged his fist against the wall but heard a voice emanating from his computer.)
Voice from Computer: Tom? Tom? Are you there?
(T'Rok went over to the computer)
T'Rok: Excuse me Miss, I'm Lieutenant T'rok. Who are you?
Women on screen: I'm Tom's wife, Cynthia.
T'Rok: Are you aware that your husband escaped from the ship brig?
(The women on screen didn't look to be believing it)
Cynthia: I don't think that's very funny. Our family is going through a tough time right now.
T'Rok: Ma'am, I'm serious. Did he mention anything to you that may shed some light on this.
Cynthia: He seemed very sad but that's to be expected. His mother is dying. May I ask what's going on?
T'Rok: Your husband is a suspect in a crime aboard the Majesty right now. I'm not at liberty to say anymore at this time but I thank you for your help ma'am.
(T'Rok tapped a button on the small view screen and it turned off. Along with his security team they continued their search)

(Along with his security team T'Rok continued on his search. It took around 20 minutes to check 10 quarters. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. As they entered the turbo lift T'Rok's communicator chirped)
Security Officer: =^=Sir this is Ensign Gretzky. I'm afraid we've uncovered another body... It's Ensign Francona.
T'Rok: =^=... Understood. =^=
(T'Rok ordered the turbo lift to Deck 8. The turbo lift immediately whirred into action but a second later came to an abrupt halt. The first thing that came to T'Rok's mind was that this was the work of the escaped prisoner)
T'Rok: Bridge, what is going on with the turbo lift?!
(T'Rok waited a moment for a response)
Bridge: =^=It seems science ordered that the power be diverted from your turbo lift for a project. =^=
T'Rok: With all due respect to them please inform them that I've just about had it and if they cross me again that I'll be making a diversion from my trip down to their little labs.
(The security officers on the turbolift got a soft chuckle out of the whole ordeal as the turbo lift began moving again and almost immediately arrived at the designated deck. T'Rok turned to the two officers)
T'Rok: Alright, we can't waste anymore time. Our top suspects Ensign Bailey and Lieutenant Thompson could be anywhere. We know at the least that Ensign Bailey has transport capabilities. We're going to have to split up. Ensign Ogden I want you to take on decks 9 and 10. Ensign Ordway, commence your search on decks 11 and 12. I'll have a look around this deck and find out if anyone's seen anything suspicious. When you finish contact me and I'll give you further instructions.
(With that T'Rok and his team split up and T'Rok continued his search on Deck 8. After searching about 6 quarters most of them were empty at this point. Many officers had taken the shore leave granted to them by the captain and T'Rok was able to get the checks done rather quickly. Continuing down the corridor he tapped the doorbell and received no response which was consistent with the rest of the deck. He put in his access code and entered to a completely darkened room)
T'Rok: Computer, lights.
(As the lights flashed on T'Rok saw a few blades laying on the floor along with a red stain on the carpet. T'Rok quickly reached for his comm badge but before he could get to it he was swiftly struck in the head by a blunt object knocking him unconscious)
:25 minutes later:
(T'Rok started to regain consciousness but his vision was blurred and he felt a raging pain in his head. T'Rok moved his hands in an attempt to get up off the floor but his legs and arms were tied up. T'Rok slurred a few swears as he tried to break free until a figure came in sight)
Darkened Figure: Ah, you're awake. I was hoping for your sake that you stayed unconscious because this could get quite painful for you.
T'Rok: You P'Tak!
Darkened Figure: I was expecting that. The Klingon act. I got that from the last Klingon I encountered. But once I started cutting the arm his attitude quickly changed.
(T'Rok put all his strength into breaking free but it didn't even feel as if any progress was made)
T'Rok: My security team will be contacting me any minute. They know where I am and they will easily handle you.
Darkened Figure: Are you sure they know where you are? A lot can happen in 25 minutes you know.
(T'Rok thought to himself for a few seconds and realized that Ensign Bailey had a site to site transport device)
Darkened Figure: Surgery will commence soon. I'll let it sink in first.
(T'Rok could see almost nothing. His vision was still far from 100% but he could see about 8 feet away. In the distance he saw what appeared to be a phaser lying on the floor. T'Rok looked around for the perpetrator but didn't see him in the immediate area. T'Rok started to roll to his left but came to a quick halt when he noticed several spikes laying on the floor around him. There was no way he could get over to the phaser without suffering serious injuries. All he could do was continue the struggle to break free)

Trista is glad to hear a bit about the woman. "Will you play something for me?" She says hoping it might help herself to relax. She doesn't like feeling how she does, and she doesn't want to be alone. She also doesn't want to go down to the planet, afraid that he will be there too.
(Kedzie)
Ensign Ruto was busy looking about the ship trying to find those that escaped, as ordered. He wasn't having any luck, and wondered if the LT was fairing better.
=^=Ruto to T'Rok=^= "Sir, I haven't had any luck around my area, I am going to look on a couple more decks to see if I can find anything more. I was just checking in." He says, his report being met by static. He wonders what is going on.
"Sir, are you there?" He continues, but gets nothing more than static.
=^=Ruto to Engineering=^= "This is a test, are you recievieving this?" He says into his commbadge, hoping the comm isn't down.
(Rhymer)
Liz was busy trying to find some way to get some reading on those that escaped. She wasn't making any progress, and notices that her shift is up. She thinks about heading down to the planet, but decides now is not the time to relax. She rubs her eyes, and picks up another padd to continue in her research.
He had been following her biosign for several hours. She hadn't left her office for awhile, and then all of a sudden she headed from the bridge down to her quarters. He wondered when would be the best time to attack. He needed to do it again soon, or he would lose complete control, something he didn't want to happen. He had already lost it once recently, and the girl had ended up dead. His first hit went well, and now he needed another. He had picked his target carefully, knowing that the ship might fall apart if she weren't around. He wondered how sound his plan was, and decided not to attack her in her quarters. He decided to follow her down to the planet.
Masking his biosign hadn't been easy, but it had been worth it. He had created a commbadge and uniform just in case anyone would ask him what he was doing there. He wore a yellow collar, and decided to say he was from engineering. He also carried a kit around to make it look like he was working on repairs. He even had a console taken apart in front of him. He had planned to have something break in her quarters like last time, but unfortunately she was too important, so his plan had to be changed. He sighed, and continued to put the console back together, the wrong way. He wanted to make sure he had something to do again later if he needed it, but he didn't do anything too big to be noticed. He decided to wait to see when she would go down to the planet, and he would do his best to follow her without being noticed.

"Will you play something for me?" Trishta said.
“Yeah, sure, I’d love to, but I don’t have my instrument with me,” Kedzie replied, then quickly thought. “But we can go to my quarters, and I can play it there,” Kedzie suggested.
<Tag Trishta-Liz>
They walked to Kedzie’s quarters, and Kedzie picked up her Bellaclavion, and lightly ran her hand along the strings. She winced a little. “Sorry,” she apologized, then picked up a small piece of equipment to help her tune the instrument. “It’s actually been a little while since I played this,” Kedzie explains. She hadn’t had a chance to play it ever since arriving on the Majesty, and she usually played daily.
Kedzie quickly finished tuning. “What do you want to hear?” Kedzie asked.
<Tag Trishta-Liz>
“I can play folk music from pretty much any major culture. Except Breen and Dominion, I’m not fully sure they have music that I would be able to play. Not on this instrument,” Kedzie said, smiling. “I can also do a little of the modern stuff, although that gets difficult,” Kedzie said. “So what will it be?”

"I wouldn't mind going to your quarters, as long as you are with me. I don't know why, but I feel safe with you." She says, and tries to smile. They head to Kedzie's quarters, and it doesn't take long to get there.
She hears Ked appologize, and she makes nothing of it. She watches Ked tune her instrument, and enjoys watching. She sits down in a chair nearby. Ked stops and looks up, asking for a song to play.
"Oh, um, what can you play?" She asks, trying to buy some time to think about what she might know.
"Well what is your favorite song to play?" She says, realizing that there is no way she will be able to come up with a song.
(Ked)
"Okay, I would like to hear that then." She says hoping that she doesn't show she knows nothing about music. Suddenly her commbadge chirps, and she curses under her breath.
"Would you bring that with you? I need to head to sickbay to relieve the good doctor. Her shift is now over, and my is beginning. I don't want to be alone, and I was hoping you would come with me. You don't have to bring your instrument with you, but I would really like to hear you play." She says pleading and hoping that Ked will say yes.
(Ked)
"Great, to sickbay we go!" Trishta says very excited. They head for sickbay.
Later, both women enter sickbay, making Liz look up from her work. "Can I help you, ladies?" Liz says confused as to why they are there.
"I am here to relieve you doctor, you shift is over, and mine has begun. Ked is here to keep me company, since I still don't fell comfortable being alone." She says quickly.
(Ked)
"Very well, I was working on trying to find those that escaped from the brig. Here are my notes. Since you and the ship won't be needing me, I am going down to the planet. I will be back well before my next shift. Have fun, and stay out of trouble." She says more to Ked than the doctor.
(Ked)
Liz left sickbay uneasily, but she shook it off heading for her quarters. She decides it time for some fun.
In her quarters she changes into something more comfortable, then she heads out not grabbing anything else. She knew there was swimming allowed down there, but she decides that she doesn't want to get wet while down there.
In transporter room one she finds a security detail. She passes and goes down by herself.
On the planet a warm breeze greets her as she walks toward the woods. She thought about a picnic, but decides she just wants to relax a little. She knew she would have to please her stomach, but decides to ignore it for now. She notices several of the crew down on the planet, and finds a pic nic is happening.
"Hey, doc, come join us! The more the merrier!" One of the guys yells from the pic nic blanket. She walks over.
"Sure, I have never been to a pic nic before." She says as she smiles and sits down.

"Well what is your favorite song to play?" Trishta said.
“I’ll play a Bajoran tune,” Kedzie decided. “A classic, I grew up always hearing it,” she explained.
"Okay, I would like to hear that then." She said. Suddenly her commbadge chirps, and she curses under her breath. "Would you bring that with you? I need to head to sickbay to relieve the good doctor. Her shift is now over, and my is beginning. I don't want to be alone, and I was hoping you would come with me. You don't have to bring your instrument with you, but I would really like to hear you play."
“Sure, why not,” Kedzie said. “I don’t mind playing, it’s what I’ve done for a good deal of my life, that and traveling. Besides, maybe you can give me a tour of sickbay then, I’d like to be aware of the facilities, since I will have to work with the medical personnel.”
"Great, to sickbay we go!" Trishta replied. They head for sickbay. "I am here to relieve you doctor, you shift is over, and mine has begun. Ked is here to keep me company, since I still don't fell comfortable being alone." Trishta explained quickly to Liz, when they arrive in sickbay.
Kedzie blinks a few times at being called Ked. She internally shrugs though, and smiles. She’s been referred to with stranger names. “I do think it would be best if I stay here and keep Trishta company,” Kedzie said, backing up Trishta with the weight of Kedzie’s own professional opinion.
"Very well, I was working on trying to find those that escaped from the brig. Here are my notes. Since you and the ship won't be needing me, I am going down to the planet. I will be back well before my next shift. Have fun, and stay out of trouble." Liz said.
“You too,” Kedzie replied, smiling at Liz. Planetside away time was likely to be more risky than staying in sickbay. After all, she was surrounded by doctors. The only problem would be if she played badly, and they decided to throw heavy medical equipment at her. Kedzie hoped that wouldn’t happen, but she didn’t think it was actually that likely. Medicians tended to be more civil than that.
“You still want me to play?” Kedzie asked. She had brought her Bellaclavion with her.
<Tag Trish-Liz>
Kedzie started to play her Bellaclavion, slowly though, since the song itself was rather slow, and a little sad. At least, Kedzie had always found it that way, she knew that others had had different reactions. By Fears and Stars was the name of the song, but Kedzie had always thought that the song’s name was nearly as subjectively interpreted as the music itself. Stars to her had always meant hope, but to the writer, whoever it was, the name had been lost to time, seemed to view them as alluring, but still dangerous to the unaware.
Kedzie glanced over at Trishta, wondering what her reaction would be. Since it seemed that nearly everyone reacted somewhat to this song.

"Yes, please." Trish says as she settles down behind the CMO's desk. She looks over the padds, and sees a few mistakes. She figures that Dr. Janeway was probably just tired. She was glad one of them was brave enough to go down to the planet.
She listened to the music as she starts to work on the good doctor's work flaws. She finds the music suits her. It is sad, but then right now she isn't feeling happy either. She remembers the attack and shutters.
"I like that one, it suits my mood." She says.

“Really?” Kedzie asked, then, in an attempt to change Trishta’s mood, sped the song up a bit, and added a few, slightly higher notes. She gradually worked on morphing the song, and soon she was playing an Irish jig.
She laughed lightly, because of the song itself. She hadn’t originally come up with the change, it had been a teacher, when she had explained that she thought this song really sad, he had ran a computer analysis of it, and showed her the similarities. Then he had morphed the notes, to show how the music, written thousands of years apart, and different planets, with different tones, were quite similar. Kedzie had been delighted by it, she had been 16, but eleven years later she still knew how to morph the two songs, and she closely associated this morphing with the teacher himself.

While reading the information and making changes, she notices the song speeds up. She smiles and looks up from her work at Ked. She finds that she likes this song, and is enjoying the beat.
She suddenly has an idea, and wonders if that would work. She starts to write to the beat, and finishes putting her idea down on a padd. She hears the next song, and finds she likes it as well.
Suddenly someone is carried into sickbay, and Trish gets up and goes to see how she can heal the person. As she nears she finds a little girl on the biobed.
"Hello, sweetie, can you tell me what hurts?" She says trying to keep the girl calm, and to find out what little information there is available. It is clear to her that these people were not realted to the girl.
"I fell and hurt myself. I was running too fast, and I jumped up excitedly. I landed, and found a lot of pain." She says quickly hoping that the information helps.
"Well then, lets take a look at that ankle. I just need you to sit still. Ked, come here please." She says and draws away from the girl a bit.
"If you could play something to distract the girl while I scan her ankle, it would be most appreciated." She says, and finds that Ked goes near the girl starting in on a fast beat song.
Trish opens the tricorder, and scans quickly, knowing the song wouldn't keep the girl distracted long. She moves away again, and grabs a hypospray. She applies it to the girl's neck as the song ends.
"Ok, that should do it. Take it easy, and try to stay off your left ankle as much as possible. Be more careful how you land too, you don't want to jump on it so soon after treatment." She says and tells the girl to wait a minute. She enters the back room, and returns with a sucker for the girl.
"Bye now." She says, and heads back to the doc's office.

Kedzie played a children’s song, while Trishta did the work and healed the girl. Kedzie felt a little odd just following around Trishta and playing, she almost felt that she should be doing something, as it was, she felt sort of useless.
Kedzie noticed that Trishta seemed very much in control of herself so long as she was also in control of the situation, and could do things to help. Kedzie was relieved by this; she was wondering how Trishta would be able to hand the patients. As far as Kedzie could tell, Trishta was doing fine, so Kedzie decided to quit psychoanalyzing. She didn’t much like to anyway, but in many ways it had improved her ability to interact with other people.
Kedzie smiled. “What kind of paperwork do you have to do?” she asked, since she was curious, and it seemed better to talk.

TEG had volunteered to take the first watch on the bridge of this shore leave. It was just he, Commander Greenwood, and a young human woman, Ensign Zedina Karpinko.
TEG was beginning to get a little concerned about the missing prisoners. It didn't help that one of them was an engineer, and was smart enough to wipe their records, and disable internal sensors. Rhymer had said it would only take about 30 minutes to repair, but that was an hour ago. TEG was also concerned because Lt. T'Rok was supposed to check in 5 minutes ago.
-^-"Ensign Ogden to Bridge"-^-
"Yes Ensign Ogden." Replied TEG.
-^-"Sir, Lt. T'Rok is missing."-^-
"How do you know this?" Queried TEG.
-^-"While doing some room to room searches, Ensign Ordway met up at the last location we saw him to make our reports, only to find his commbadge on the floor.-^-
"Thank You Lt. for the report. From now on, all searches will be done in groups of two. Hopefully we will be able to find him when the internal sensors come back online. TEG out."
"Sir, they just did." said Ensign Karpinko.
"Nik, scan for Klingon life signs." Ordered TEG.
"Nothing." Replied Nik.
"Scan the Surface."
"I'm reading a Klingon on the beach in the shore leave area." Replied Nik
"Well that's Dr. Janeway." Deduced TEG, "Any other readings?"
"No sir, but there are some intense subspace waves emanating from an area about 10 kilometers Northwest of the 'beach' in a mountain range."
"Can you get any reading of what may be causing it?"
"Nothing, but it does appear to be within an network of caverns. There is an entrance just a mile from the 'beach'."
"Nik, Coordinate a search of those caves. Ensign, make sure security here continues to search for the fugitives. I'll inform the Captain."
OFF: Nik, looks like a great place to 'jump in'. Same goes for everyone. I want everyone involved in this search, be it on the ship or on the surface.

"I don't have much to do, just an update form for her records. The doctor will have to make the changes, as I don't have clearance to do so. It can wait until she gets back. Kids need to know that we are here to help them, not hurt them. I have found that suckers help to remind kinds that I am not a bad person. Besides it gives them something to look forward to when they have to visit. Now if only we could get something like suckers for the adults, then it wouldn't always be hard to get them in here for physicals." She says and smiles realizing she is babling. "Do you have any suggestions on what we might do to get the crew in here like that?" She said trying to pass some time.
(Ked)
Suddenly an order came in, and she realized there wasn't much she could do to help the search along. She remembers the doctor's work, and realizes there is nothing she can do to move it along. She moves to make sure that sickbay is ready for anyone who might be hurt, although she doesn't understand exactly why she would.
"You might want to stay, if there are any victims they may need your services as well as mine." She said trying to prepare all around her for the near future.
Down on the planet, Liz was enjoying herself, and then the call came. She realizes that a doctor's duties are never done, and she wonders why she thought she would be able to relax for once. She sighs and has everyone around her get into groups.
"We will go to the caves northwest of here. No one is to be without a partner, and I want reports every five minutes. I don't care if you find slugs, I want to know about it. Arm yourself accordingly, move now!" She said ordering them about organizing a search and rescue, being the highest ranking officer on the planet.
"Oh, remember we don't want to come in contact with the natives, now go." She said and arms herself as well, heading northwest with the rest of the group. If they found anyone, she thought they may need her services.

Warrant Officer first class Darian Ako wandered through the deserted corridors of the USS Majesty. He'd just come off duty and he stiffled a yawn. The young Trill was exhausted after a long shift down at the science labs. Earlier, he had managed to annoy the chief of security by drawing power from the turbolifts into one of his projects.
He was investigating the impact of bad memories from previous hosts on symbionts and their new hosts. Having been the subject of them himself, he thought he was the perfect guinea pig, but he had to refine his research first, before testing his theory on himself. He sighed miserably as he sauntered towards his quarters, but he stopped when he heard muffled sounds coming from the other direction.
"Hello?" he called, turning about to see where the noise was coming from. His hearing picked up shuffling sounds and the sliding of a door. He trotted back towards where he had heard the sound and repeated his call. The muffled sounds were coming from inside the quarters, but naturally the doors wouldn't open to him and when he pressed the chime nobody called him in.
"Computer emergency override," he muttered, adding a string of numbers and letters that represented his own emergency override code. Miraculously, the door slid open revealing officer's quarters huddled in semi-darkness. Once his eyes adjusted to the semi-darkness, Darian could distinguish a long shape lying on the floor, surrounded by some sort of obstacles. From what he could see, the shape was squirming, but apparently not able to go anywhere and the muffled sounds were definately coming from the squirming shape.
"Computer lights, low level ilumination," the Trill WO1 ordered and obediently the computer turned the lights on at low level ilumination. It wouldn't do to blind a person that had been in darkness for an unknown length of time. Now that the lights were on, Darian gasped in surprise. On the floor, thrussed up like a turkey, lay the security chief T'Rok. The Trill stiffled a laugh but quickly stopped when the Klingon's smoldering gaze met his, as he muttered angrily against the gag.
It was obvious now why he'd been squirming, as sharp objects were laid out around the length and width of his body. Any roll he would've attempted, would've also seriously injured him. After a moment of hesitation, Darian cautiously moved forward and reached to remove the gag. Only the glare he received made him hesitate longer than necessary.
"I'm going to help you sit up now," Darian explained, after kicking the sharp objects aside, "as you've been prone in a lying down position for an unknown length of time, this may hurt." He stiffled another smile. "Oh I know, Klingons tend to relish in pain, but this is different." He heaved the Klingon upright, grunting as he did so. Darian wasn't the tallest of persons and actually was rather thin-built. "There we go, now let's see what we can do about those bonds. You don't happen to have a dak'tagh on you sir?" He shook his head in dismay. "No I didn't think so. I'll be right back, I'll just break my fingers if I try to undo those knots."
The Trill knew he was babbling, Klingons tended to make him unecessarily nervous. Perhaps memories of his previous host were coming into play here, he wasn't entirely sure lately which memories were his own and which were that of his previous hosts. He hurried away to find himself some form of knife to cut T'Rok's bonds with, and at last he found one. Deflty, he cut the ropes and continued to massage the Klingon's arms and wrists. "Got to help you here," he muttered nervously, terrified the Klingon might harm him, "no don't try to stand just yet. We must get circulation going first. Move your fingers...."
<T'Rok you take it from here>

T'Rok impatiently waited for Darian to free him of the ropes restraining both his arms and legs. As Darian was cutting the ropes T'Rok tried his best to motion his arms back and forth trying to help the knife slice through the rope as quickly as possible. T'Rok yelled at the top of his lungs but with his mouth still gagged nothing was making sense and Darian seemed more concerned with getting the restraints off than worrying about the gag in T'Rok's mouth or even calling for back-up.
Though the lights had been slightly dimmed T'Rok was still struggling to see very far ahead of him. The concussion coupled with the rapid light change seriously hampered his sight. Darian continued running the knife up and down the rope as T'Rok pulled tried pulling his arms apart with all his might.
"Almost got it." Darian grunted as he put all his strength into slicing his way through.
Suddenly a figure ascended from behind Darian. T'Rok yelled through his gag and rocked back and forth trying to get Darian's attention. Darian began to turn but not in time. He was whacked over the head and fell to the floor next to T'Rok. The figure poked Darian with his foot and rolled him onto his back.
"Too easy." The figure responded.
He cautiously edged his way around T'Rok to check his restraints. T'Rok's leg restraints were still intact. T'Rok held his hands close to eachother. The figure got closer to check on his hand restraints and T'Rok pounded him in the face with his right fist. The figure staggered backward but quickly pulled out a phaser.
"Don't try me! I have no problem with killing you now." The figure responded, his voice shaking from the pain he clearly felt with blood dripping down his face. T'Rok could now see him clearly. His vision was blurry but he clearly identified him as Lieutenant Thompson.
T'Rok brought his hands around front and pulled the gag out of his mouth.
"Lieutenant Thompson... Put the phaser down before I have to take it from you..." T'Rok tried to slide the rope off of his feet but it was no use. It was tied so tight that his feet were numb.
"I don't see you taking anything from me until you untie that rope. Come on, where's that Klingon strength now? How long before you start begging for your life Klingon? The last Klingon I slaughtered didn't start begging until I was half way through their arm. So what's your breaking point?" Thompson asked moving closer to T'Rok.
"Why would I beg you Mr. Thompson? All I see when I look at you is a pathetic disgrace of a starfleet officer who cries when he doesn't get picked for an away mission or doesn't get that promotion. Look in the mirror and I'm sure you'll find your breaking point immediately." T'Rok yelled
Thompson started to say something but bit his lip.
"Well... You're tough now, we'll see later. I'm afraid now I have to stun you. We don't want an unrestrained Klingon. All Klingons should be kept in cages as it is."
As Thompson raised his phaser Darian crawled around back of Thomson. The lights were dim but they barely illuminated the floor. Darian got to his feet and shoved Thompson with all his strength knocking him to the ground and sending Darian stumbling backward. On the way down Thompson hit his head hard on the floor and appeared to be unconscious.
"Get his phaser..... Mr. Darian, I don't think I'll be accepting you to my security force anytime soon. Call for backup now before you forget please and undo these ropes.... Science Officers...." T'Rok rolled his eyes

Darian sighed as he crawled back over to the Klingon security chief. "I don't think I'll be applying anytime soon for security duty either," he managed, as he fought of his fear for the Klingon. Since his hands were free, the Trill thrust the knife into T'Rok's hands. "Here, do it yourself," he urged as he tapped his combadge. "This is WO Darian Ako, please send securty down to Lieutenant T'Rok's quarters. Oh and a doctor might be useful as well."
Picking up the discarded ropes, Darian crawled back to the fallen starfleet officer and hesitated. If the man would wake up, his mood might be murderous, but if he didn't he assumed T'Rok's would be instead. The Trill knew that the Klingon's mood already wa beyond bad, and he was glad to be out of his reach.
Slowly, he rubbed the back of his head and fought off the nausea he was experiencing, blinking as he tried to drive off the black spots in his vision. With shaking hands, he tied the officer's hands behind his back, before attempting to check on the headwound. He sat swaying slightly as he leaned in and only barely caught his balance.
Darian turned back to T'Rok. "Why did he do this to you?" he asked, his voice still betraying his fear.

They had been moving, and did their best to make good time. Several of the groups have taken breaks, even the one Liz is in. She didn't stop though. She hopes to find something good that will help in the search, if not findinding exactly what they were looking for.
She has left the group, and wonders into the forrest, hoping to find a shortcut to the caves to the northwest. She leaves the trail not liking to be so out in the open, and finds it is easy to walk in just the woods.
A few hours later, she finds herself lost as she has turned around several times. It is getting dark, and she knows she has to find some way back. She goes to hit her commbadge only to find it isn't there. She curses, and sees smoke in the distance. She hopes it is some of the crew waiting for her to return. She heads toward it.
Instead of seeing the crew she had so longed to see, she finds a village, and realizes she has bumped into the natives. She turns to leave, and finds three men upon her quickly. Something hits her head, and she koncks out.
(Aarons)
Back on the ship, Trishta had heard the call for a doctor, and grabbed a med kit. "You might want to stay here. I don't think they will want your services, no offense intended." She said not wanting to hurt the other woman's feelings.
(Ked)
"Thanks." She says and heads off to see what she can do.
She made her way into the room, and saw that T'Rok was there wounded. She came forward quickly, and found someone tries to stop her.
"I am the Assistant Cheif Medic, I strongly suggest you get out of my way." She says with an air of authority. She knows the Cheif is away on the planet, and she has no idea when she will return.
(Sovas, as security guard)
She moves past him, and sets the med kit close to T'Rok. "Hello, don't worry, this won't take long. I know you have duties you would prefer to be doing." She says and starts to scan him. The scans show a knock on the head. She had something for his headache, and then sees some marks on his wrists. She realizes what caused those, and she gets out the dermal regenerator to get the skin looking normal again. She then pushes a hypospray to his neck.
“All set, and be more careful.” She said packing up to leave.
(T’Rok)
She left moving to return to sickbay.

"You might want to stay here. I don't think they will want your services, no offense intended," she said.
“You don’t think there’s a chance I could be of any help?” Kedzie asked. “I’ll just stay here in sickbay then,” Kedzie replied, smiling slightly, but she wasn’t entirely happy.
"Thanks," Trishta said.
“Not a problem,” Kedzie replied, after Trishta had left. It was hardly like Kedzie was making a great sacrifice by staying in sickbay, relatively safe and out of harm’s way. Kedzie paced back and forth within sickbay, wishing she could be helpful and knowing she wasn’t.
Kedzie sighed, and wished she had actually learned something useful in the four weeks she had trained, since it didn’t seem like she could do terribly much as a counselor. But she guessed that counselor was still the best job for her. She wouldn’t be able to be in security, certainly, but even other positions just wouldn’t sit well with her. Kedzie sighed, and resumed her pacing. She still wished she could do more than nothing.

The young Trill scientist still sat huddled where he had landed after giving the assaillant a ferm shove. He had a major headache and his vision was edged black. Through his daze he saw a doctor tending to T'Rok, and he also saw a tall Vulcan enter the scene but he hadn't the heart to stand up and face him.
A low moan escaped his lips, as he struggled himself to his feet. His concern was only for the fearsome Klingon, as his muttered warning had probably saved his life. "How..." he started, but then his stomach retched and he vomited. "Ooh," he moaned, feeling utterly miserable.
He looked up, meeting the Klingon's and the Vulcan's gazes, awaiting the questions that would no doubt follow.

“All set, and be more careful.” She said packing up to leave.
"Be more careful? I think Starfleet should be more careful when assigning these incompetent p'taks to our ship" T'Rok responded as he gently rubbed the healed gash on his head.
T'Rok got up bracing himself on a nearby table. His legs still tingled as they hadn't fully regained blood flow yet. As he continued toward the door Darian vomited.
"Ha, I'm glad this isn't my quarters. Good luck getting that one out of the carpet." T'Rok quipped.
T'Rok started toward the security office. Since he had been incapacitated for some time he needed an update as far as tracking down the other escapee, Ensign Tom Bailey. When he entered the security office he noticed Bailey in the brig behind a blue shimmering forcefield. T'Rok interrupted the security officer on watch who was engrossed in a padd.
"Ensign Jackson, where was Mr. Bailey found?" T'Rok inquired
"Ensign Gretsky found him hiding in a jefferies tube on Deck 12."
T'Rok had no more questions and was relieved that the search had come to a close. Now he could enjoy some shore leave. Right now all he wanted to do though was rest his sore legs and take a nap.

OFF: Seeing as I haven't kept up with the B-plot of misogyny going on so far and who's currently where, I'm going to be a little ambiguous with who is involved and if I accidently use somebody who should be somewhere else, just let me know and I'll endeavor to correct it. ON: Michael was glad to get off the ship with all the accursed manhunting going on, although the toga wrap the quartermaster devised for them wasn't very enticing to say the least; at least he was spared the indignity of going open-aired underneath. He stepped on to the transporter pad, checking to see that the sandals he was wearing, which were gouging his ankles, were tied right. The first wave beamed dematerialized while below a twinkling haze sparkled into a coherent mass of 7 robed figures, one of which was fidgeting with the 'garter' issued for concealing tricorder and cricket phaser (the little pocket phasers mostly seen in TNG Season 1) underneath their robes. Michael had gotten used to the cold touch of the commbadge against his body on the inner side of his attire. Team Leader: "Problem Commander?" Aarons: "Men weren't meant to wear garters; leg holsters and ankle pieces, maybe, but not garters!" A female member of the team reacted to hearing this. Female Crewman: "And how is a leg holster any different from a garter?!" She asked with a challenging tone. Aarons: "Because at least they're worn on the outside of a pair of pants!" He said shifting everything around trying get an acceptable amount of coverage on his vented body. "Now if you don't mind, I'd like to get started on my way to urban civilization." He headed off awkwardly traipsing along in the somewhat uncomfortable sandels and with the imposing robes hindering movement with every sway they made with his stride as he traversed his way off the sandy beach towards signs of civilization leaving the others to their business. Up the rock face he climbed the stepped path to where there were supposed to be people of this world Attis. What he found as he arrived was a daunting magnificent polis of Greco-Roman style with early Nile River and Aztecan design elements mixed in. The only thing missing was a Colosseum and he half expected to see something indicative of San Francisco City Hall. Aarons: "Hail Athens, the mighty center of civilization, scholar, art, and trade of the ancient world; birthplace of the founding principles of the United Federation of Planets!" Recalling the intro from the exhibit at the museum of Dubai that examined ancient history. He took to the path which entered the city, the solid ground feeling much better on his feet than the loose sand and ascending steps. The avenues were inhabited with mercantile and statuesque works littered by throngs of people who patroned the merchants or went there merry way. There were at times when, if not for the lack of grass and trees, it felt as if he were on Capitol Hill, others at the British Old Bailey, and down on the other side of the sea wall ports formed feeling like old Venice. It was better than anything on Bajor. The population looked Terran enough although the attire was not exactly right, luckily he didn't really stand out. The language was coherent enough and as he wasn't very sure about the U.T. in this situation it was a good thing he had known Latin well enough; to think he had the chance to learn Bosnian back in private school. Michael moved to one of the stalls, a sort of produce or otherwise stand and noticed of the lot a strange fruit that looked of a pear. He picked one up and asked of the merchant what it was although it likely came out as 'how was it?' because the merchant began to speak proudly of it then offered he try it to see; apparently money was not an issue at the moment. He took a bite and indicated it was an interesting taste before moving away to see other parts of the city. It had a peculiarly sweet taste especially for him so he didn't finish it and put it away. Hours later, Hawk and Greenwood beamed down to the area where the team original landed; everyone was off somewhere and they began walking down the beach. Not long after they spotted a strange figure coming down the shore toward them. They stopped as the figure belonged to an unusual individual which they couldn't quite understand. It appeared female but was too unnatural in its behaviors as it came straight for them. The person approached them and they started trying to make unofficial first contact before being interrupted. It: "Guys! ...It's me." They stood there confused and glanced at each other. "...Aarons!" There was something too familiar about the voice to realize this was indeed Aarons. Hawk/Greenwood: "Hahaha ha ha hah!" It stood there and scowled. Hawk: "The hell happened to you!?" Aarons: "Isn't it obvious!?" Indignant of there amusement at the situation. Hawk: "How did this happen?" He said with more concern for the gravity of the situation. "Did someone do something to you?" Aarons: "No, I visited the nearby city, explored the aspects of it and the local life there, tried one of their foods, then began to observed their local phil... !!!" It activated its commbadge and hailed all personnel. "ATTENTION! Do not eat the food!!" The message went out across the channel, although some were a bit perplexed by it, they listened. Greenwood: "So you're like some kind of androgenous person now?" Aarons: "No, I'm more some kind of a hermaphrodite." Greenwood: "You mean you have both-?"He was answered with a peevish tight-lipped 'mm-hmm' then, "Hard keeping your hands off, huh?" It slapped his face like an offended woman before letting out an irritated spiteful 'yeesss!" It crossed its arms and stared at the sand brooding from the embarassment this was causing before turning its gaze toward the two bewildered officers. Aarons: "I just want to go back to the ship alright!?" It became more distraught and flustered. They moved out of the way as it sulked over to the point of arrival. "Transporter room, lock on to my signal and beam me up." Its voice now more emotional and trembly than before sounding different. =^= "Excuse me?"=^= Hawk: "Just do it, and have Dr. Janeway ready." It was acknowledged and the transporter activated. Michael Aarons disappeared and as soon as it was fully dematerialized, the two began laughing.

She wakes up when she heards a loud crash. She doesn't know how long she has been out, and she realizes she doesn't know where she is. She sees some strange guy sitting nearby, and she grabs her head as she sits up.
"Hey, how long have I been out?" She asks, only to find the voice not her own. She has no idea what is going on, and she is a bit scared. She remains looking calm, and looks over hoping the translator still works. The guard says nothing, and she stands up to leave. She stretches, and walks over to the door. The guard stops her from leaving, and she wonders what is going on, then she remembers she lost her commbadge, and realizes he doesn't understand a word she said.
She walks back to the bed and sits down contemplating what she should do. I can't contact the ship, and I have no way of talking to these people. Now what, she thought and looked around. She had an itch on her chest, and scratched it. She looked down, and was horrified.
Trishta walked back into sickbay, and saw that Ked had company. "Who is your friend, Ked?" She said, realizing she doesn't know any of the crew except the counsellor.
(Ked)
"What seems to be the problem?" She says setting the medkit down.
(Aarons)
"I see, well that is a problem." She says, and picks up a tricorder to find out how to fix this. "What exactly caused this?" She says while continuing to scan.

“Who is your friend, Ked?” Trishta asked, once again calling the counselor Ked, which made Kedzie want to laugh, since it did not suit her, but Kedzie suppressed the desire. It was harder not to smile, since by the way the Commander was acting, Aarons did not think of Kedzie as a friend.
“Commander Aarons,” Kedzie said. “The commander wants you to check for an explanation to the condition the commander appears to be suffering.” Kedzie was having problems not mentioning gender, and decided to give it up, and go with the gender that the Commander had originally been. “He thinks he may have an explanation, but you need to verify or disprove it.”
Kedzie knew that she should be able to offer support, but she noticed that Aarons didn’t seem to want to talk to her, which she could understand, at least in theory. Kedzie stayed silent though, she thought about offering to leave, but she should stay with Trishta, and, also, with Aarons.
Having figured out that talking wasn’t what was needed now, and neither was music, and, in fact, neither was Kedzie presence, not really, but theoretically she should have something to do and theoretically she could help here, somehow. For now, though, she was content to be silent and be here in case she would be needed.

Upon arriving, the commander found not Dr. Janeway but the ships new counsellor whose initial reception only made its depression worse. The transporter chief had worse tact but went decidedly unnoticed by all. Aarons: "Where's Dr. Janeway?" Kedzie: "We've lost contact with her some time ago but one of her relief staff is on duty." They went down to sickbay where they were met by a young lady who looked as if she'd had a worser experience than the poor commander; no doubt this brightened her day. Trishta: "Who is your friend, Ked?" Kedzie: "This is or at least what was Commander Aarons, our chief navigator. H- Sh- The commander seems to have encountered a rather nasty problem and well ...needs to find out what's wrong." She was impressed with herself for having said that with a straight face. Trishta: "Well first off, how did this happen?" Aarons: "I was ...down on the planet and ...and I was offered some kind of fruit-" it reached into its garments and produced the odd little half-eaten fruit which the doctor took and began scanning it "-not long after I ...I ...I was like this!" The commander began losing composure. Before she knew it, Kedzie was being held by a sobbing gender confused officer whom she had always assumed hated her. She looked to the medic who only cocked an equally confused eyebrow back at the young Bajoran. Trishta: "Let's start by analyzing this alien produce and getting a full tricorder reading to assess the changes." Aarons: "You're not gonna stare and poke at me are you?" It sat up and looked the medical officer dead on with a serious conviction. Trishta: "No, of course not." Aarons: "Good. That's the last thing I need right now." The commander seemed to be more irritable at this point which worried the counsellor a bit, but this was normal for the commander at least for her. The commander hopped up from the examination table and was shown to an area where they could discretely analyze and discuss the full force of issue. Trishta stopped off to the side to discuss with Kedzie the mindset of the commander. Kedzie: "What is up with...uh?" Indicating the commander. Trishta: "He...it seems to be exhibiting mood swings. You may be in for a hell of a session." Kedzie began to mentally clear her schedule. Elsewhere on board, Captain Kay realized she hadn't done much lately.

TEG got the call from sickbay that Commander Aarons had returned 'a bit different'. TEG gave Commander Greenwood the Bridge and went to see if he could get a status report on the commander's condition.
When he arrived he was given a rundown on what had happened. Heir emotions were on a sea-saw, the attending doctor had to engage the restraining field just to s/he from bolting from sickbay. TEG decided that perhaps the CMO should be looking into this. He went into the Doctor's Office and called for Nik to hail Dr. Janeway. After several seconds, Nik replied that he couldn't get a response from Janeway. TEG asked Nik to scan the surface for Klingon Bio-signs. One was found near the beach, TEG called down to the 'base camp commander' and asked if she had seen Dr. Janeway. She had not, and reported that Janeway was not anywhere near the beach. TEG then made a logical deduction, based on the fact that T'Rok had been found on-board, but no detected by the sensors, and concluded that Petty Officer Borcha, a Bolian, the only Bolian in the crew was being picked up as a Klingon by the Sensors. TEG then asked Nik to scan for Bolian life signs. Nik reported on near the outskirts of the city nearest the 'base camp'. TEG called down to the 'base camp commander' that she was to do a head count. He then called Hawk and asked him to form a search team for the Doctor, and to make sure his feathers were well hidden... We don't want to alarm the natives, any more than a Klingon could.
OFF: Using Terminology from New Frontier, s/he and heir are the proper terms for someone in the condition of Mr/s. Aarons.

The young Trill scientist inched his way onto the bridge from the turbolift, wishing he could be just invisible. He didn't like to be stared at, and he certainly didn't like to be surrounded by a lot of people. Fortunately, the Klingon tactical chief wasn't on the bridge, otherwise Darian would've immediately fled. The Vulcan wasn't there either, fortunately. The Trill found the stern security chief daunting, and even more scarier than the Klingon.
He inched his way further, towards one of the vacant science stations, and tried to figure out what exactly was going on. To him, it seemed as though the entire senior staff was missing or had just gone nuts. Gazing over at the command centre he noticed a beautiful human woman wearing commander first class pips, and she was flanked by a human male wearing the same rank. This thoroughly confused him as now he didn't know which of the two was in command.
Erroneously, he assumed the male would be in command and nervoulsly stepped up to him. "Sir," he managed, after swallowing a few times. His head was still pounding, and his nervousness didn't help matters. He held out a PADD towards TEG. "The report on Ensign T'Rok's rescue sir," he stammered, 'i-is there an-anything else I c-can d-do?"
