“I’m ready to give you my status report on my way to the bridge,” Commander Matthew informed Nika.
“Alright,” Nika replied, an acknowledgment that she would be able to listen to him once he made his way to the bridge. “Is the situation a direct threat to us?” Nika asked, figuring that was the only question that couldn't wait until Commander Matthew reached the bridge.
<Tag Matthew-you can include coming up to the bridge and giving the explanation>
Matthew had been talking to her for a little when conn forwarded a message to her. “Confirm the identity of the ship,” Nika ordered Lieutenant Duchek.
“It's confirmed.”
“Then permission to come aboard granted. Welcome back.”
Nika finished with Commander Matthew before the ship was docked and Major Wong informed her, through an ensign—although Nika couldn't figure out what would be wrong with his commbadge now that he should have it—that he would be reporting for debriefing. From what Nika had determined of the events on the surface, Nika thought it would be a good idea to talk with Commander Nack first, to see if she could understand the situation first. And she felt she owed Nack the first chance to explain himself, because she knew Wong better and would be predisposed to sympathize with him.
“Cir'Kem to Nack, can you please report as soon as possible to the bridge for debriefing?”
Before Nack appeared on the bridge, Nika thought she should make an appointment to have the debriefing of the other senior officer who had been stationed downbelow. “Cir'Kem to Youngblood, could you please visit the bridge or my ready room for debriefing at some point in the next forty-five minutes?”
Youngblood explained that he wanted to reverse the surgery that had made him a Cardassia first, which Nika understood. “Alright, then please come within half an hour of finishing your surgery?”

As Jeb walked out of the shuttle he seen the the Security officer standing there waiting for him. The man then proceeded to explain some things to him.
They the proceeded to walk to the bridge. They walked and walked for about 4 minutes until Jeb finally decided to just ask.
"I hate to ask but could you please direct me to the turbo lift?" Jeb asked the security officer.
The man just nodded as the started to the nearest turbo lift. As the entered the lift he noted there was to long of a delay in the doors closing. He pulled out his small padd and made a verbal note about the problem. Just then the door and he seen the Capitan looking into the turbo lift. He then walked out and approached the Capitan. He then waited until the Captain wasn't busy and then spoke to her.
"Hello Ma'am it's nice to finally meet you. I'm reporting in as ordered." Jeb reported to the Captain.

It felt good to be back on the ship, especially after what just transpired down on the planet. Everyone, besides Nack, was busy getting their dermal ridges removed. Nack took this time to confront the Captain with series of events, as he saw them, before others could arrive.
Nack arrived at the Captain's ready room. There, he found a newly arrived Chief Engineer.
"I don't remember seeing that on my chart..." Unfortunately, that could no longer be an excuse for the Ferengi officer. As First Officer, he was the one responsible for creating the roster.
The Captain handed her padd to Nack. "Well, it seems your transfer just arrived, and in the nick of time too. We have been having trouble on board here. I assume we are still having glitches, Captain?"
The Captain responded in the affirmative. She also mentioned another ship was in the area, without life-signs aboard.
"A probe?" Nack's questions went unanswered, so he switched gears.
"Mr. Shelby, for your first assignment - I think you could do something simple." Jebadia started to look as if he was going to complain, but Nack stifled the response.
"Now, I know you want to get down and dirty, but duties are duties. Can you get the turbolift doors fixed? On the way up, the doors took at least 10 seconds to open - that's a security and safety risk. That will get you used to the systems." Nack noted from the padd that the officer hadn't served on a Nebula Class starship before.
Once the Lieutenant left, Commander and Captain were left alone to discuss what had happened on the surface.
"When I first got down there, Mr. Wong was firing upon..."
***15 minutes go by while Nack explains his version of events***
".... and I can tell when someone's lying, Captain. We Ferengi have sort of a sixth sense for that... well, and of course we have a gift for lying as well... but what do I have to gain." Nack, realizing he got off topic, went back into attack mode.
"Anyways, I have half a mind to give him a formal reprimand, and I would like permission to proceed with questioning while we head back to... hmm.. where are we going now?"
The Captain finally had a chance to speak.
<Cir'Kem>
"I would like to talk to the rest of the crew. This is serious. I will get to the bottom of this."

After receiving his orders he proceeded to leave the room and headed for the turbo lift. As he waited what seemed like a hour for the turbo lift to open he seen the Engineering station. He then walked up to it and started to reading the council.
Around 10 minutes later he was finally into the turbo lift programing. He didn't see much wrong with it besides the fact it hasn't been checked in twice the required time. He continued to do his manual scan of the programing when he seen a small anomaly in the stopping program. It seems that the timing was off and it could become dangerous or even deadly if not fixed soon.
He then tapped on his Communications badge and notified Commander Nack,
"Commander Nack, We have a serious problem with the turbo lift programing and thats just the programing only god knows what maybe wrong with them teck wise. To add on that there is no way this problem just arose from the program because there is fail safes in place to stop this and there are fail safes to make sure that happens. Therefore something outside of the programing had to of done it."
After taking for about 10 minutes he notified the commander that he is also going to be running a scan of the important ship systems programing starting with the Life Support and then moving directly to Transporters and then down the list.
As he looked at the 2 screens slowly reading both as he noticed that the transporters were just fine. He left a marker on it so that every time its going into use it scans the programing with a comparative scan to make sure everything is cosure. As he start started to concentrate on the screen on the right witch was the turbo lifts he seen a strange configuration on sequences that weren't even normal for Federation starships to have. He kept studding the programing and traced the configuration to the Communications grid. He then simulated a separation of the Communications grid and the turbo lift programs and they both didn't seemed effected. He then proceeded to do in for real when he noticed that the what he would call "Virus" Spidered out to other systems. The promptly severed the connections and simply did a quarantine at the same time.
He then tapped on his Communications badge,
"Commander Nack, I've found the problem with some of the systems around the ship. There was what I would call a Virus spidering out from the Communications grid. I still have to find the exact file but I've stopped it from doing damage so the turbo lifts should be fine now. I'm going to copy the infected file and put it in a quarantine Padd for studding and reprogram that part of the grid."
He first had to find the infected file in the Communications grind witch he expected would be easy because he had several configurations of the "Virus". He then made a custom scan to pick it up and scanned the program. About 2 minutes later it found the file. He saved it to a quarantine padd and started to reprogram the infected block of the grid.
A good 10 minutes later...
He tapped on his Communications badge,
"Commander Nack, I've found the problem and fixed it. I'm extremely sorry for all the inconvenience I know how this must seem. You will have my full report on your desk by the end of the day including the Virus report if you want me to study it. With all that on the table, may I ask my new orders are?"

On: <Transporter Room4>
Yahnie stepped off the trasporter padd as he did his comm.badge came to life. “Cir'Kem to Youngblood, “Could you please visit the bridge or my ready room for debriefing at some point in the next forty-five minutes?” =^=“Yes ma’am, I am heading to sickbay to reverse the surgery and as soon as I change in my duty uniform I will be there.” Youngblood out. =^=
<Main Sickbay>
Youngblood headed out of the transporter room and on to deck 6 to the turbo lift. Yahnie arrived at the turbo lift on deck and stepped in as the doors opened. “Main sickbay” Yahnie said to the computer. The turbo lift assended to deck 12 As soon as the doors open Yahnie stepped out of the turbo lift and walked down the corridor to sickbay. Yahnie entered the sickbay and talked to the reception area and talked to the nurse on duty. “Ma,am, My name is Lt. Youngblood I am here for the surgery to get my face reversed. I believe the Doctor is expecting me.” The nurse responded, “Doctor Ardawen Knight will be with you in a few minutes Lieutenant. Please have a seat. The Dr. walked in and said to Yahnie “Follow me Lt. It will only take about 30 minutes to do the operation.”
<Lieutenant Youngblood’s quarters>
The surgery didn’t take long at all. After Yahnie was done and the Dr. gave him the ok to leave Yahnie headed to his quarters to take a shower and to change into his duty uniform. Adbout 15 minutes later Yahnie headed out of his quarters to the turbo shaft as he stepped in Yahnie said to the computer “Bridge”
<Captain’s ready room>
The turbo lift stopped at the bridge and Yahnie stepped off and headed to the ready room. Yahnie stopped at the door and hit the buzzer. “Come on in” The Captain called out. “Have a seat Lieutenant as soon as the others arrived we will begin the debriefing. Before he took his seat Yahnie went over to the replicator “Do you mind Captain” said Yahnie. “No, go right ahead” said the Captain Yahnie spoke to the replicator Tea El gray Hot as soon as he said that the cup of tea appeard and Yahnie went to a seat and sat down waiting on the others to arrive. Yahnie began sipping on his tea.

Tiberian sat upright after about 20 minutes, having been forced to lie still for the reversal procedure. He straightened his joints with great vigour, relishing the fact that he was now stretching his own joints and not those of a fake Cardassian. He stroked his chin thoughtfully, suddenly realising how smooth it was. He had been forced to remove his designer stubble for the initial surgery, but had consoled himself in the knowledge that it would only take a week or so for his handsome, rugged look to return. His girlfriend, Jana, in freshman year had once commented on how good he looked when he had forgotten to shave for a few days, and that had pretty much settled it for him. He suddenly wondered how Jana was, and made a firm decision to see how she had got on since leaving the academy as soon as he returned to his quarters. He was so engrossed in his own thoughts that he had not even registered Youngblood's entry into the sickbay, and was suddenly shocked by his presence. Tiberian leapt of the biobed in an unnecessary show of amateur acrobatics that made a young nurse giggle, and Dr Cartwright shake his head in disapproving exasperation. Sending a cheery wave to Youngblood as he exited, Tiberian hot footed it to a turbolift, ordering it to his quarters on Deck Seven. He practically sprinted the last few yards as he entered his quarters, already undoing his tunic as he did. Despite having dressed in it only a few hours before, Tiberian was already feeling the need to shower and change. New face, new uniform, he joked to himself as he removed the remainder of his clothing and entered the sonic shower. "Computer, activate dictation transcribing programme Delta Six. Key to padd six-six-three-nine" he called as the sonic pulses resounded over him, shattering the dirt from his body. With the programme activated, Tiberian washed, dressed, and then ate a hearty meal of coffee and croissants, all whilst dictating his mission report into a padd. Within twenty minutes he was polishing off the last bits of his meal, and amending any grammar mistakes within his fairly sizeable report. As he relayed a copy to both the XO and Martinez, the former for the benefit of annoying Nack, the latter for the purpose of ensuring Martinez and the marines all got their stories straight, Tiberian examined his chronometer. He had been back less than an hour, and he was already clean, fed and prepared to meet the Captain. He smiled as he remembered his mother's words. "You see, when you manage your time well everything turns out better" I really ought to visit her when I next get leave, Tiberian thought as he made his way to holodeck one. Tiberian entered the holodeck, and waited for the doors to hiss shut behind him. "Computer, activate sensor scrambler protocol Sigma Omicron 223, and then initiate programme Wong Alpha Twelve" The computer beeped twice in response, and then the dark holodeck became a momentary swirl of colours, before settling as a quaint village somewhere in the Irish countryside. Tiberian walked through what appeared to be a late 18th century market scene, full of joyous chatter and merry banter. He passed through this without a word, instead going towards the church, which stood only a short way away from the village square. Tiberian entered the quaint little building, and bent down on one knee to cross himself. He then rose and proceeded towards the confessional at the end of the church. He entered the booth, drawing the curtain ad seating himself as the shutter in the adjoining alcove was drawn open. "In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Bless me father for I have sinned, it's been a fortnight since my last confession" Tiberian recited with his head bowed. "And what sins have you commited my son" a calming and elderly voice responded. "I've commited murder father" Tiberian said quietly "But not in a bad sense" he quickly tried to rationalise "The man I killed I executed. It may go against the law, but he was a dangerous criminal who murdered one of my people. I wanted vengeance, and to protect other people" "We've been here before, haven't we Tiberian" the priest answered softly "I've said it before and I'll say it again, you can be forgiven, but only if you are truly sorry. You're not evil, my son, only misguided in your pursuit of goodness. Try and find a better way in future, and you will be sure to be forgiven" He sighed "But whilst we're here. God the Father of mercies, through the death and resurrection of his Son, has reconciled the world to himself and sent the Holy Spirit among us for the forgiveness of sins; through the ministry of the Church may God give you pardon and peace, and I absolve you from your sins in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Go in peace" "Thank you father" Tiberian said, the priest's words weighing on his mind. Tiberian exited the confessional, and then the church, crossing himself once more on his exit. As he strode away from the church, Tiberian called out. "Computer, end programme. And erase this last holodeck session from the ships logs, authorisation Wong six four theta..." he paused "Computer void that last command. Leave the holodeck records intact" He might need this for guidance again he thought, as he exited the holodeck, which was now fading back into darkness. Within five minutes Tiberian was on the bridge, report in hand. Most of the bridge was being run be junior officers, with the night XO Commander Yontz sat in the centre seat. Tiberian proceeded to the tactical console, where Ensign Lucy Munro was stood. She and Tiberian had some form of informal "arrangement" when one or the other was bored or lonely, an arrangement that Tiberian now had need of. He approached her, nuzzling his nose in the back of her long brown hair, bringing a surreptitious smile to her face. "What do you want?" She asked playfully. "What do you want, SIR" Tiberian corrected her in the same manner "Is anyone in with the Captain?" "The new XO" she informed him as she continued to work her console. Tiberian groaned and momentarily hung his head despondently, before flashing Munro a quick grin and moving round to sit in the advisor's chair. Within a few minutes of waiting, Nack exited the office, just as Youngblood entered it. Deciding to pop in and hand in his report before Youngblood and the Captain got down to anything serious, Tiberian stood and entered the office. As Youngblood returned from the replicator, Tiberian snapped to attention. "Ma'am, my report for you, detailing all the events on the surface. There is also a special mention in there about Mr Youngblood's exemplary conduct, as well as a request for Sergeant Nnakir to be presented with a..." the words caught in his throat "Posthumous medal of valour, ma'am" he saluted "If there is nothing else you require ma'am, I should like to return to my duties, ma'am"

Nika listened with concern as Nack outlined his concerns as well as explaining the situation. She didn't have a chance to speak for about sixteen minutes while Nack talked. She didn't really mind it though, since at the moment Nack was the one who needed to be talking, and she was the one who needed to be listening. Nack finally paused, asking Nika where they were headed next.
“Bajor, we're to have shore leave on an actual planet this time,” Nika replied, since it was rare that the crew didn't just stick with themselves.
Nika agreed with Nack that the situation was serious, which was kind of the thing she thought she, rather than a brand-new first officer who had as much as admitted he just 'felt' a certain way on the issue, should be handling. “I'd like to investigate this myself,” Nika told Nack. She felt a little that he was trying to take over all her duties, and all at once. Between the fact that he had insisted, at the very last moment, she might add, that he be the one to head the rescue team and then instantly taking over welcoming the new engineer on board, Nika almost felt a little...useless. Besides, she knew the crew better than Nack.
<Tag Nack>
Nika felt a little uneasy about answering a commline addressed to Commander Nack, but he was standing right next to her. And she obviously didn't feel all that uneasy, since she answered Lieutenant Shelby's question. “Thank you, I'll go over your report. Now you can either take a break and settle in, or you can visit main engineering and start communicating with your new staff, or with Commander Matthew, who has been taking on a few engineering duties?” Nika's tone showed the words to be a question.
<Tag Shelby>
Lt. Youngblood entered and asked if she minded if he had something to drink. She didn't mind, but she didn't have anything herself. Nika waited for Captain Wong to appear before she started to ask questions. They didn't wait long, until Commander Nack muttered about having to give CONN the coordinates of their destination or something, an instant before Captain Wong entered and gave his report. Then he asked if there was nothing else, could he return to his duties.
Nika shook her head lightly. “I obviously haven't had a chance to read over your report yet,” seeing how she had only just received it, so Nika didn't know whether it agreed with Nack's statements yet, “But I've been hearing of a problem. Marine Captain Wong, is there one?” The answer to this, regardless of what Nack answered, would be yes. But it would be somewhat less of a problem if his answer was yes.
Before Wong answered Nika noticed Lt. Youngblood shift slightly, uncomfortably. Nika kind of wished that she could have excused him for just a moment, but there hadn't been any easy way to do so.

USS VICTORY -C NCC-750075-C
Scene: Main Engineering
“Cmdr Matthew we Have the Latest results from the probes were more than just interesting. The asteroid belt Close to the Cardassian moon had shown them one of his secrets: it was not only made of rocks and stones.
“As Ensign Prater zoomed into one of the pictures that the probe sent, he could see wreckage pieces, . “The spectral analysis showed that Duranium and different other metallic elements were present.
"Duranium? Only the Federation and the klingons use this material. Could we get information about the identity of the ships? " Ensign Prater asked.
"I am searching the material we got from the probes. But it isn't too much, sir." Primer answered while his eyes were fixed on his screen.
Lane turned his head to face the back side of the bridge.
"Lt. Saluki, search the database. Maybe there is a missed ship."
"Aye sir." said Saluki, , but he had already started the search.
"Sir, it looked like the CARDASSIN GOVERNMENT have satellites spread over the system " “Saluki, looked up from his console.
"Yes, and I wonder when they will detect our probe, Commander."
"Cmdr Matthew : let not press our Luck remember we are guest of the Cardassian government .
“Just Download the info to my Computer Pad I Have a meeting to get to"
“A Petty Officer stood up sir our new Chief of Engineering is on board . " a LT, Jebadia Shelby ”
"“Commander Matthew I’ll meet him at the Meeting Then he Pickup his computer pad of the desk Made his way to the Senior officer Meeting “ Location: Conference room -A
“Cmdr Matthew enter the Conference room and walk over and had a seat Next to the Captain and handed her his pad with the incident report on it then he gave her a Quick break down of the report “
“Captain after going over all of the probe sensor data I believe this virus was not uploaded to ship to cause any major damage just to keep us from Scanning a certain Area of cardassin space for a flew days “
“I believe some black marketers where Secretly mining Duranium from a I believe they where Afraid that the Victory would find them out doing one of our Schedule Scanning Rotation of that Area and inform the Cardassian government That they where mining Duraniumin Cardadassin space without there knowledge in a Asteroid Belt Near the Cardassian moon
“I think we should inform the Cardassian Government About the Illegal mining and let them handle the matter ‘ And also wee need to make some new security changes to our ship low level ship to planet communications since that how the virus was transmitted on board ‘
Cmdr Matthew sat back in his chair and listen to the other officers give there reports “

Nack left the Captain's ready room feeling shot down. If the Captain wanted to investigate this herself, that was fine, but that wasn't going to stop Nack from doing his own investigation. It was his duty to keep the crew in check, and in Nack's mind, her ease of mind when he got to the bottom of this would outweigh any of her interest to investigate this on her own.
Heading to Engineering, to fulfill his other first officer duty- being official welcome party- he found Jebadia recovering lost data due to the Virus. Nack put his hand on his shoulder, looking over it to see what he was doing.
The Lieutenant was showing him all the data files that were effected. There were some medical files of past crew members, classical music from the cultural database, and some holodeck programs. The last of those, piqued Nack's interest, when he noticed that the latest file being retrieved was an entry from Mr. Wong.
"Lieutenant. How long until you get this file completely restored?"
<Mr. Shelby>
"Well, first, we need to remodulate the shield frequency of any external devices we have outside of the ship to counter the sensor sweep emitting from the probe." Jebadia questioned what probe Nack was talking about. "Commander Matthew just contacted me on the way down here. Cardassia has a probe out there, and we are at risk of being caught spying if you don't remodulate them."
Jebadia got started. He seemed right at home now that he had spent some time in engineering.
"When you finish with that, complete the restoration of that holodeck file. When you get it restored, can you relay the output to the holodeck view-port, then meet me there? I'm sure the Captain wants to talk to you, but this overrides that for now."
Nack was going to see what was so important that the marine had to activate a program before debrief. He knew there must be answers there.
Mr. Shelby got to work on the shields, and Nack made his way to the holodeck to reprogram it for playback mode.

Tiberian heard the Captain's question, and in the fraction of a second, a dozen scenarios flashed through his mind. The Captain had always seemed fair, but would she tolerate this? Would she pick up on a lie if it was too basic, or if it was too complex? Could he just deny everything? He brushed these thoughts to one side quickly. He had already briefed his marines on what to say, so he had to say it too. Better that they all sang from the same hymn sheet and were damned for loyalty, rather than incompetence. Tiberian straightened his posture. "Yes ma'am, I do believe that there was a problem on the surface. Once Commander Nack and Mr Youngblood here" Tiberian inclined his head towards to Youngblood "Had left the compound, myself and Sergeant Major Martinez along with his section remained behind to check the compound for any remaining criminals, as well as ensuring that the weapons were untouched. At this point, a criminal by the name of Dalsan made an attempt to escape. He pushed past two marines, and secured himself a phaser whilst attempting to run. I reacted instinctively to the threat, as per both my training and General Order 24 dictates when I found my men in danger, and as such ordered my men to open fire. Dalsan was subsequently killed" Tiberian paused "This is mentioned in my report ma'am, along with a statement of regret that I did not choose to employ restraining force rather than lethal force. As such I expect no less than appropriate disciplinary action, ma'am" Tiberian looked directly into the Captain's eyes, and saw there the permission to continue his relating. Before continuing, Tiberian interjected. "Mr Youngblood, if you will pardon my rudeness, would you mind excusing myself and the Captain for one moment. What I wish to discuss next might be considered to be of a sensitive nature" Tiberian nodded at Youngblood, who returned the nod and departed. When he had gone, Tiberian turned back to face the Captain. "Permission to speak both freely and off the record ma'am" The Captain nodded "Ma'am, I feel it appropriate to mention at this point that in all honesty I feel no regret at the death of Dalsan. Accidental although it may have been, I believe that it is good riddance to bad rubbish. You will find enclosed in my report that statement he made before all the witnesses aboard the Victory, about how he could evade the judicial system. He was right ma'am. For all we have done, within a few months the Cardassian legal system will lose them somewhere, and everyone will be right back to square one. And Sergeant Nnakir will have died for nothing, ma'am" He paused for breath at this point, his chest heaving with a combination of stress, emotion, and the fact that he had rattled all this off at high speed. He finally continued "I also would like to state how I believe Commander Nack to be both suspicious and critical of my actions. I would like to note that I am an experienced front line combatant, and that whilst he may hold a seniority in rank, Commander Nack does not have my experience in making snap decisions in the heat of battle, whilst his men are dying, ma'am. As such I would request that it be noted in the ship's log that I believe I took the appropriate actions in difficult circumstances, and that I believe my men will validate that, ma'am" Tiberian thought, just for a moment, that the Captain would indeed find that his men would validate this. Especially when the ship's 95 man strong marine company, most of whom were not present, would each give an identical word for word account. He saluted the Captain "All remaining details can be found in my report, ma'am. If there is nothing else?"
<TAG Captain Cir'Kem>
Tiberian turned on heel and marched out of the ready room. As he exited he waved Youngblood back in. "Thanks mate" he said as he walked past. As soon as the doors hissed closed. Tiberian collapsed back into the XO's chair, rubbing his eyes. Commander Yontz, the night XO, chuckled from the Captain's chair. Tiberian raised a weary hand to stop him, although he smiled himself. "Life's a female dog, then you marry one" Yontz joked at Tiberian, who rolled his head back in his seat, before forcing himself wearily to his feet "You still on for poker tommorrow night" "Friday, 21:00 as always" Tiberian smiled as he moved round past tactical, heading for the turbolift. Before he got there, he paused to whisper in Munro's ear. "What time does this shift end?" he asked her, whilst leaning against her console. "23:00, about two hours from now" she replied as she slapped away his hand, which had come dangerously near to the photon torpedo controls. "You fancy dinner" Tiberian pressed "My quarters. Good music, good wine..." his voice trailed off, as Lucy Munro smiled back at him. "It's a date" she kissed him softly on the lips, which was enough to send him into the turbolift with a smile on his face. He then headed for the main sickbay, where Dr Cartwright was still cleaning after his and Youngblood's surgeries. He raised a hand in greeting. "What can I do you for Captain?" he asked. "I need you to take a look at Sergeant Nnakir's body" Tiberian said, the faintest hint of a tremor in his voice "There was some bad wounding that led to her death. I don't want to have to send her off looking like that" Cartwright nodded, and they went to retrieve Nnakir's body from the morgue. An hour and a half later, the surgical repairs had been completed, as well as some pro bono embalming. The body was returned to the morgue, pending a memorial service, and Tiberian returned to his quarters to replicate dinner and set the table for later that evening. As he waited, Tiberian sat down, padd in hand, and began to compose a letter, explaining Nnakir's death to her family. He had never been the senior officer present after a death before, and as such had never had to deal with the ceremony and tedium of paperwork. A short while after 23:00, the door chime went, and Tiberian moved to open the door, placing a still blank padd down on his desk.

“No, there's nothing,” Nika replied. “Dismissed.” She wanted to believe Tiberian, but that would mean the new Federation First Officer was paranoid and didn't trust his inferior officers. Still, all things considered, that would probably be better than the idea that an officer of hers would consciously lie. To her face. And if the marines did support his report, then there were two options. 1) Nack had been mistaken. 2) A select group of the Victory were conspiring to lie to their commanding officers. And that rang far too close to mutiny for Nika to like it. Of course, she still had to talk to the marines.
Lieutenant Youngblood reentered the ready room, and Nika decided to have a cup of something warm to drink after all. She didn't foresee getting a whole lot of sleep this evening, which would make it the fourth night in a row she spent the majority of her off duty time time working. Which meant she would have to take any slight relaxation where she could get it. “Tepid Mareuvian tea,” Nika ordered from the replicator, then immediately took a sip of the room-temperature beverage.
Nika then sat down at the table, trying to put Lieutenant Youngblood a little more at ease. She didn't think it was actually likely that she was succeeding, but she tried. “How did the mission downbelow go?” she asked Youngblood. “Just in your own opinion. Or, I don't suppose you know anything about the tension between Captain Wong and Commander Nack, besides what I know?” Nika asked, feeling like she shouldn't be asking this question, that she was somehow showing that she didn't trust either of them by asking the question.

Tiberian rolled over and was awake again. His quarters were darkened except for the light of the outside stars. His quarters showed the disarray of the a few hours before, with the table contents being uncleaned, and both his and Ensign Munro's clothes strewn upon the floor. Dinner had been a fairly rushed affair, with neither of their minds focused particularly on food. Not wishing to wake Lucy, Tiberian attempted to roll over to his bedside table, upon which he normally kept a chronometer. As he attempted to roll, he discovered his right arm was trapped underneath Lucy's sleeping slender figure. Slowly, he tried to tease his arm from beneath her, almost succeeding until the point when she rolled over further, putting him back to square one. "Ensign, as you were" Tiberian said playfully, now fully aware she was only feigning sleep. Lucy elbowed him in the ribs in a playful manner, before rolling back to release his arm. "What time is it" she asked as Tiberian stood up, and she pulled his abandoned section of the covers around her. Tiberian began pulling on his uniform when he replied. "Well, seeing as how you're awake. Computer, time?" "The time is 04:30 hours" the Computer replied. Lucy groaned, and buried her face her pillows, muttering. "I have a damn duty shift at 09:00. Why did you wake me?" "You weren't sleeping" Tiberian chided gently "And anyway I can't sleep. There's some work that needs doing, and I've had enough sleep to last me until tonight anyway" "Four hours isn't enough for most normal people" Lucy interjected as Tiberian retrieved his blank padd, and strapped his varying odds and ends to his belt "I'll clean up when I have breakfast" she said "And I'll probably see you at poker tonight" "Probably" Tiberian said, leaning in to kiss her on the forehead before he left. Tiberian exited his quarters and made his way towards the nearest turbolift, nodding as he passed crewmembers on the way. Inside the turbolift, he called for main engineering, waiting by the wall. There was a particular crawl space just off from engineering, near to the grav generator and secondary EPS buffer relays, where Tiberian found it relaxing to work. He had only found it after two months on board, having realised it was the only one of two complete sensor blind spots on the ship. As such he could work fairly uninterrupted. The Chief never minded him using this space, and had even shared some evenings in there with Tiberian when he had pressing work or reports to do. As Tiberian entered main engineering, he saw all the usual faces, except for a young lieutenant he didn't recognise. Stopping Ensign Miloy as he walked past, Tiberian asked. "Who is that Lieutenant?" indicating the officer in question. "New Chief Engineer, Mr Shelby, sir" the ensign replied as he moved off to continue his duties. Tiberian sighed. Why was he seemingly always the last person to know that half the crew had changed. He approached he young Lieutenant Shelby, his hand extended. "Mr Shelby, a pleasure to meet you. I'm Captain Wong with the marines"
<TAG Lieutenant Shelby>
"Well, welcome on board. You'll find we're quite a quaint little ship, minus the murder charges, firefights, and the fact we've got through more letters than the rest of the First Fleet" Tiberian smiled as he moved around the centre console, heading for the access tube he needed. Then something interesting caught his eye. On the console was a list of files that had been corrupted by a virus in the system, and which were in the process of being reconstructed. At the end of that list was Tiberian's last holodeck file. A few more minutes and it would be reconstructed and free to be viewed. Tiberian cursed himself, acknowledging the tactician inside himself which had told him earlier to delete the programme. Tiberian spoke up. "Chief" he smiled, having subconsciously used his old form of address for Wigram "I'm just heading up maintenance junction 44-B to get some quiet work done, if that's alright?"
<TAG Lieutenant Shelby>
Tiberian waved at the engineer as the maintenance shaft doors slid shut. Within 15 seconds, what Tiberian thought to be a new personal best, he had climbed the 100 foot ladder, and was removing a wall panel in the sensor blind spot. Here he saw all the EPS relays interconnected to one another. Tiberian spent almost a full minute mentally connecting each labelled conduit to a ship system, and eventually found the one connecting to the primary holomatrix. If he could just overload it, then it would result in the memory engrams for at least the last 24 hours being damaged beyond reconstruction, and the programmes they contained with them. Tiberian examined the circuits, it suddenly dawning on him how dangerously simplistic it would be to do this. He exchanged two isolinear chips, moving one from the tertiary backup torque sensor control to the holomatrix primary relay, and vice versa. This overrode the relay's original programming, sending far too much power coursing through the holomatrix, burning it out paritally, before the safety protocols countermanded the bogus signal, returning the power flow to normal. Somewhere down in engineering, the list of files became shorter, as all recent holodeck files vanished forever into cybernetic oblivion. Replacing the wall panel, and checking to ensure that no evidence remained, Tiberian settled down and took up his padd. Adrenaline still pumping slightly through him, he exhaled. "Dear Mr and Mrs Nnakir, whilst I realise that no words of mine could begin to console you for your loss, I feel that I must inform you that..." He began to write.

Nack waited by the main holodeck, but he did not hear from Lieutenant Shelby about the reconstruction of the data file. It gave him some time to rethink his position.
If he did go through with what he was about to do, it would be a direct violation of Tiberian Wong's right to privacy. If the evidence was strong enough, the marine would be court martialed, and the file would be subpoenaed. He thought better of trying to access the file, and reported to Mr. Shelby to belay the orders to replay the entry.
=/\= Mr. Shelby, when you are through reconstructing the destroyed files, please continue monitoring our shield modulation. I won't need that file after all. =/\=
<tag Shelby>
=/\= Interesting. I'll be in Engineering in a minute. =/\=
The file was successfully recovered, apparently.
--------------------------------- Meanwhile - in the Holodeck ---------------------------------
A marine, having been relieved of duty for the day, was in mid-programme on the holodeck, when the arch appeared - announcing the safety protocols were offline.
---------------------------------
"Mr. Shelby, what is going on? There seems to be surge of power in the holodeck right now." Nack pointed at a diagram on the engineering console showing a blinking light on the symbol representing holodeck controls.
<tag Shelby>
---------------------------------
The rock climbing wall was high, and with the safety protocols clearly offline, each step was a fight for his life.
=/\= Engineering, the holodeck is having a problem right now =/\=
<tag Shelby>
=/\= Well, the safety protocols are offline, and I cannot exit, and.. worst of all, I'm 100 meters above the cliff floor. =/\= the marine sounded pretty calm for someone that was in a dangerous situation.
---------------------------------
After Shelby answered the marine, Nack asked, "Do you think this is related to the communications problem we have been having?" Shelby disagreed, showing Nack that it was clearly a different subsystem.
The marine's only hope was to send someone in to get him down. Of course, one would have to get into the holodeck first- a tricky prospect that would take a team of experts.
=/\= Commander Youngblood, Lieutenant Youngblood, and, =/\= Nack sighed =/\= Major Wong, please report to holodeck 1. We are having a major subsystem failure here, and we are going to need your brains and brawn to get to the marine who is stuck inside.
Commander Nack turned to Shelby. "Lieutenant, You do what you need to do, whether it is Engineering or the Holodeck, to get that system back online."
Nack went to the transporter room to see if he couldn't transport the marine out. Along the way, he informed the Captain of the current situation.

Nika then sat down at the table, trying to put Lieutenant Youngblood a little more at ease. She didn't think it was actually likely that she was succeeding, but she tried. “How did the mission down below go?” she asked Youngblood Lt. Youngblood went ahead to sit down. “Well Ma’am I would like to tell you that the mission didn’t go along as plan. I believe that Captain Wong and the Xo Nack acted out of haste. I believe that that Captain Wong was in the right but things just happened too fast. I believe that the Xo Nack was paranoid. The Xo Nack needs to lighten up on protocols because when we are on duty he should call us by our given rank and not Mister. I am sorry if I feel out of line but I am strictly military. I also believe that there should be investigation in the death of Private Nnakir because she was gunned down in cold blood. I also supect that the Xo has acted in the wrong by gunning down Dalsan, our informat because he had no idea of what was happening. Captain if I may speak freely, It just seems to me that we were double crossed andthings got out of control.

"Captain Wong, please report to holodeck 1. We are having a major subsystem failure here, and we are going to need your brains and brawn to get to the marine who is stuck inside." Tiberian sighed, and set down the near finished letter when he heard the announcement. If anything was going to go wrong today, it probably would at this rate. Tucking the padd into his waistband, Tiberian clambered down the ladder and into main engineering. He ran staright through, dodging around crewmembers until he reached holodeck one, where a team of varying people had already assembled. "Computer" Tiberian called out once he had joined the group "Enable safety protocols on holodeck one, and activate the exit" "Unable to comply, holomatrix primary command processors unavailable. Main power is online, but command subroutines have been disabled due to a power surge. Repair is necessary" the computer coolly replied. Tiberian momentarily froze. He had done this, and now he had to undo it. But he would deal with that in a moment. First he walked a short way away from the group, and entered a nearby turbolift. Ordering it to hold, he let out a sudden scream of fury, and began punching at the walls. He had been having a really bad day. Within ten seconds he had re-emerged and was back with the group, none of them any the wiser to his sudden outburst. "Where's Commander Nack" he asked as he began examining the type of programme that was running. "In a transporter room" one of the crewmen replied "Trying to see if we can beam PFC Forrester out" The name struck a chord with Tiberian, as he remembered the marine as being the one who had detained Dalsan. He nodded, as he withdrew his tricorder, and began examining the holodeck. During the course of his scan, he realised that the overloaded EPS grid had caused the holodeck conduits to emit an increased level of polarised sub atomic particles, ones which could potetially cause a hazardous transporter accident. He hit his comm badge quickly. "Wong to Commander Nack. Sir, I wouldn't recommend using a transporter. An increased level of polarised SA particles might interfere with transport, even if targetting scanners can get a lock. I would recommend that we try the front door first. Will you please meet me back here, sir"
<TAG Commander Nack>
As Tiberian waited, he contacted the marine inside the holodeck. "Private Forrester, this is Captain Wong. How are you holding up in there son?" Tiberian was shocked at his use of the word son, given that the marine was only four years younger than himself. "Just fine, sir" the marine's calm voice was distorted slightly over the intercom "I'm sitting tight in a crevice that looks pretty secure for now, but getting down would be a real bonus, sir" "You sit tight in that crevice marine" Tiberian said, thankful that the marine was at least maintaining a safe position "We'll have you out soon. A team of experts is coming up with a solution right now. I'll check in again in a little while. Wong out" Tiberian hoped that himself, the XO and the chief engineer constituted enough of a team of experts for the private's liking. As the XO appeared, Tiberian began attempting options. "Computer, open exit" "Unable to comply. Exit must be activated within the holodeck first to prevent programme cascade failure" "We could try a manual opening" an engineering petty officer suggested. "We could" Tiberian replied thoughtfully "Provided you have some tritaninum chains and two monster trucks. These doors are solid reinforced duranium withm magnetic interlocks. We can't do with these what we do with other doors" He thought for a moment "But if we can't go through a door, a wall is the next best thing" He walked around the side of the corridor, with all those present following him. "A forced fissure in a holodeck will just create a gaping gap that other emitters will compensate for, without causing damage to the programme. If we blow a hole in the wall, we can get in to get him out. Thinking about it, if we set up some pattern buffers within a specifically modulated shield bubble, we could transport whoever was in their out of the holodeck without them having to climb back down" A smile lit his face, as he began scanning and then feeling the wall "I'll need 500 grams of refined ultritium, split into four separate containers, each with a five second dleay blasting cap. Also secure climbing gear for three, a small portable shield generator, and three pattern buffers. I trust you'll be joining me Jose" Tiberian said to his Sergeant Major who had just appeared at his side, tricorder in hand. "Just try and stop me" Martinez replied with his usual devilish grin. "Excellent" Tiberian said as he began inspecting the wall further, trying to ascertain the best place for the explosives "Wong to Lieutenant Shelby. Chief, would you mind coming to holodeck one, I'll need a competent engineer to make sure we set up the pattern buffers correctly when we enter the holodeck"
<TAG Lieutenant Shelby>
Tiberian then turned to Lieutenant Youngblood. "Lieutenant, I need someone a damn sight smarter than whoever is manning the transporter now to be ready to align the transporter correctly and beam us out. Would you mind obliging?"
<TAG Lieutenant Youngblood>
Within five minutes the gear had arrived, and the team began donning their mountain climbing gear as two nervous marine specialists placed the explosives on the markings Tiberian had placed on the wall. Retreating round the corner, Tiberian contacted Forrester. "Alright private, we'll have you out of there in two minutes. Just to warn you, you may hear a little bang, but it's nothing to worry about. Wong out" Tiberian hoped that the marine had nothing to say as he closed the comm channel and retreated around the corner to everybody else. "Heads down, and cover your ears, but don't stick your fingers in them or you'll blow your teeth out. And stay up against the bulkhead, but touching it as littles possible" Tiberian warned them all grimly as they assumed their positions. Tiberian withdrew his tricorder and pressed a button. "Fire in the hole!" he yelled, split seconds before a colossal explosion ripped through the air, sending a shockwave followed by a momentary fireball dangerously close to where the crewmembers were crouched. A minute after the explosion, when the debris had settled, and the ringing in their ears had subsided, Tiberian led the climbers into the hole into the holodeck, whilst the others moved onto the transporter room. Raising his tricorder, Tiberian scanned for PFC Forrester's lifesign, detecting it roughly more than 100 feet up a near vertical incline. "Well" he said, shocked by the vast scale of Mont Blanc "I suppose we'd better rope up and get going" They began to climb.

Scene -Commander Matthew’s Office
“Cmdr Matthew sat in his Office finishing off the morning and night before reports and sensor sweeps. His brow creased slightly at the again recent increase pressures of the mission so far”.
“The Asst. CSO Lieutenant Lasooux was among the last to give his report on his department. The last few Week’s he had little to report. It had been slow in Science Department with the Ship Holding orbit over Cardassia , it was just that most of their discoveries were on things that would only interest scientists.
Despite the fact the majority of his staff were still had there hands full off loading the Supply ships down on Cardassia , Matthew had decided to take this quiet time to go through all the Department rosters and internal promotions, demotions and so forth.
“He looked up as his Office door chimed and smiled at Dr. Kapoor through the glass door, allowing him to enter. he hardly even thought at how easy it was to smile at him these days.
"I heard this rumor you were promoting people behind my back again." Dr. Kapoor commented lightly, perching on the side of his desk. ‘
“Matthew quickly hid what his console was displaying Doctor You know as the ship chief of Operations one of my jobs is to make up a Master list of officer that there Department heads fill is ready for promotion to the Captain “
"Matthew Commented Bone’s it not time to take those General Physicals again I have a Desk load full of paper work I need to get Done’
“Dr. Kapoor’ No ‘but That remind me I need the Whole senior staff in for there right after this mission ‘ I just stop by to see if you wont to join me for dinner After you get off duty I been told its Stew beef tonight Your favorite I remember “
“Matthew ‘sure why not ‘
“Dr. Kapoor ‘good then’ well I have some paper work of my on I need to get finish a Hard [word deleted] chief of Operations Have been on my Back to Turn in bye for now Mac see you later for Dinner ”
“Cmdr Matthew looked up as his Office door chimed once Again” "Matthew’ Yes Mr. Nuevo come in and have a seat “
“Cmdr Matthew replied crisply, flicking through the information on his console once more. "As you are aware we recently lost our OPS Officer to personal reasons. After a long look through our crew and their experience I am delighted to Offer the position to you, if you'll take it."
There was a brief silence that Matthew quickly filled in with further comments. "Your service and dedication towards this ship has been of a high standard Mr. Nuevo and I believe you will fit this position's responsibilities well.
“I will leave you the choice to suggest a temporary replacement from the team working under you and, if you accept, expect to see you in the OPS position start of next shift." Matthew left another silence, now waiting for his response.
“Mr. Nuevo’ Yes sir “ Thanks you sir ‘ The next sift sir ill be there “
“Matthew great congratulations ill check up on you doing the mid Watch” Mr. Nuevo then exit “ ‘Matthew Smile and went back to desk load of paper work .

Nika took a sip of her tea, everything was getting very complicated, and what she needed was an objective observer. But there hadn't been one. There weren't any security cameras that had been recording everything, Nika had checked when the possibility of a disagreement had first come up.
Although she could interview the officers, Tiberian's statement had as much as said they would tell the same story he was saying. Which didn't mean that story was true or that it wasn't, it just said that the interpretation of events would be the same. And Nika wanted to give the marines a chance to sleep after their stressful battle before she interviewed them. Which wasn't a luxury she afforded herself, nor most of her senior staff.
“Were there surviving Cardassians that were taken into custody?” Nika asked, thinking that she wouldn't exactly get an unbiased account from them, but she was fairly sure where their bias lay.
“Nack-Commander-gunned down Dalsan?” Nika asked, trying not to sound too surprised or shocked. She was, but if she sounded too much like she hadn't been aware of the situation it might make Lieutenant Youngblood feel uneasy about explaining further. “I can certainly talk to Commander Nack about protocols, but if he gunned down Dalsan, that's a very serious issue.” Although Nika was starting to wonder why, if it had been Commander Nack that had fired, had it been that Captain Wong hadn't mentioned it. Any further questions she might have had were silenced by Lieutenant Youngblood answering the question about who had gunned down Dalsan.

Lieutenant Youngblood was in the Captain’s ready room sipping on some Tea. Captain I believe I was mistaken when I had mention that our XO was the one who gunned down Dalsan, but I believe whoever gunned him down it was done in cold blood and should have the current court system even though he was an informant he did had rights. I must admit I did have words with our XO because he didn’t show respect towards me and I acted out. I was out of line and admit it, but it doesn’t give him the reason of showing no respect. I did carry out his orders to get the local authorities. Ma’am we are the federation we don’t kill in cold blood we only kill to defend ourselves! If you must reprimand me for my behavior against our XO please do so. I was out of line.

“I hope that won't be necessary,” Nika replied. She didn't want to reprimand anyone who wasn't actually acting to add more chaos to this situation. And she hadn't been on Cardassia, although she was really starting to wish she hadn't let Nack go instead of her, so she wasn't sure what had happened. “If it seems that you may both have reacted badly, it was likely due to the stress of the situation, and I'm sure won't have much bearing on your future working relations. Although if you truly feel you acted unfairly towards the Commander you could apologize.” Nika shrugged. “I'm certainly not going to make you though.” She sipped her tea, suddenly a little embarrassed that she had talked for so long without giving Lieutenant Youngblood a chance to add his input. And she was fairly certain that she had repeated herself, for no particular reason. Nika frowned briefly into her cup, making a mental note to watch what she said.
“However, I agree with you that we don't kill in cold blood. And I will try to find out who the person responsible was for this.” Nika glanced briefly into Lieutenant Youngblood's eyes, as if she needed to convince him that she was completely serious.
Nika was going to say something more when Lieutenant Youngblood was summoned to help with something. Just a little bit after Nack had ordered Youngblood down to Holodeck 1, he informed Nika of the situation. “I'll be right down there,” Nika replied.
Lieutenant Youngblood headed down to the holodecks, with Nika right behind him, up until the moment she stepped out on the bridge. “We're receiving a comm signal from Cardassia Prime, Captain,” the officer at helm told Nika almost as soon as she had exited the briefing room.
“Tell them to wait,” Nika commanded.
“They say it's urgent.”
Nika let out a slow breath of air. “Fine, onscreen.”
“Captain Cir'Kem,” the Cardassian official greeted Nika with an expansive and badly overacted welcoming gesture.
“What do you want?” Nika asked, trying to make the words sound not quite as hostile as they could be.
“I was just interested in how your report back to the Federation on the subject of Cardassian aid would go.”
Nika tilted her head slightly. “That's not urgent,” she told the Cardassian. “I'm not going to answer that question.”
“You're in a hurry to get rid of me. Can't even answer a simple question. Why, might I ask?”
Nika didn't show any facial acknowledgment that she was in a hurry to be elsewhere. “I was just going off duty, and I have better things to do than talk to you and refuse to give you the answers to questions you knew I wouldn't answer.”
“Of course. I just wanted to check, and let you know that I'll always be happy to welcome you back to Cardassia.”
Nika frowned, still in a hurry to go down near the holodeck to help in any way she could, but she had to react to what she saw was either an invitation for Nika to spend vacation time on a desert, war-ravaged planet, or an extremely unsubtle attempt at a bribe-offer. So she just laughed shortly, and signaled the comm officer to cut the signal.

Nack made it to the main transporter room, embarrassingly having to stop for directions along the way. With all the goings-ons, there had not been much time for the Commander to study Nebula Class ship design.
=/\= Mr. Shelby, have you completed rerouting safety protocol power =/\=
The young lieutenant acknowledged that the systems were in place, but that someone would have to reset the system in the holodeck.
=/\= I'll go ahead and do that. Commander Nack out. =/\=
Nack, having trained himself many years ago in holographic science, knew his way around the holodeck, and its controls. He hit the computer console one more time, and found the Jeffries tube that he would need to get to.
Entering, he the EM conduits were depolarized, clearly an act of sabotage and not a random occurrence. "I bet it was that Cardassian probe." Nack thought. Suspecting Wong crossed his mind as well, but it was highly unlikely that the marine would do something so foolish. The marine would have known by now that the lack of evidence discouraged any preponderance to his alleged crime. That conclusion, and that Cardassian probes were known to misalign multi-phasic pathways, made the Cardassian probe the most probable source.
Nack reset the holodeck controls, and received a communique stating that marine had been rescued. By the time he was out of the tube, the ship seemed to be getting back to normal operation.
"Well," Nack thought. "I guess I can officially introduce myself to the crew."
Of course, Nack had to contact the Captain first. He wanted to see how the investigations were going, and he couldn't handle the feeling of being left out.

The first few minutes of climbing were seemingly the most ardupus, until the officers got used to the vertical incline and the necessity of ensuring that any form of spike on their body was well and truly embedded in the mountain face. They progressed slowly and doggedly up towards the private's position, ensuring all the cables and pitons were firmly secured as they went. Within ten minutes of climbing they had finally ascended the necessary distance, and were nearly approaching the private's crevice. "I'm getting to old for this sh..." Martinez began before Tiberian silenced his panting and laborious breathing with a wave of his hand. Mountain climbing was scarier than being in a firefight, given that no amount of training and experience would protect you from an event completely beyond your control. The adrenaline however, which still made Tiberian go temporarily weak at the knees, was still the same as always. "Almost there" Tiberian called out above the increasingly brisk wind and snowfall that was now battering the mountain side. And it was true, as an inlet broken into the side of the jagged mountain face now presented itself before them. They slowly moved towards it, as PFC Forrester emerged to the lip of the alcove, offering a cheery wave to his would be saviours. "It took you long enough, sirs" He called as he pulled each of them into the cloistered shelter of the alcove. "We stopped to take in the scenery on the way up" Tiberian joked, as he, Shelby and Martinez each began on assembling and aligning the pattern buffers as well as the shield generator. As they worked on getting the phase variance of each device perfectly aligned, the sky overhead was racked with thunder and lightning whilst the wind swept snow ferociously at the mountainside. Finally the work was done, and they all began to make their way into the isolated field. But at the last moment, a bolt of lightning struck the rock face overhead, sending a shower of boulders down over them. As they crew cowered back from the onslaught, the final boulder caught a hold of the rope to which Tiberian had remained attached, and pulling the rope as it went, pulled on Tiberian too. He went over the edge, falling roughly six feet before the piton that had been installed last caught the rope tightly, halting Tiberian's descent. The others came to the edge, seemingly with the purpose of helping Tiberian, but he shooed them back as more lightning wreaked more damage upon the mountain side. "Get inside the buffer field, NOW!" He bellowed as he saw the piton that was holding him begin to come looser and looser. The crew had retreated, and Tiberian now prayed feverently that his calculations had been half right and half wrong. "Wong to Youngblood. Lock onto all the signatures on holodeck one and prepare to energise" he shouted above the storm. The piton was now dangerously loose. "But sir, I'm only reading three signatures within the buffer field. You said the radiation would affect the transport of the other perso..." "I know what I said" Tiberian called angrily. The piton was on the verge of coming loose "But I don't have that luxury, and if you don't do it now, we all could die. So bloody wll get on with it!" Then it happened, the piton broke, and Tiberian fell. "ENERGISE!" He screamed, moments before the sensation of falling was replaced by the soft embrace of a transporter beam. This feeling was short lived. Whilst the other three rematerialised on the pad, Tberian achieved his reconstruction somewhere in midair above the transporter pad. So he still felt the sensation of falling, except it ended with him landing on the edge of the transporter pad. His stomach and groin were both hit hard, and so he rolled off the pad and onto the ground, one hand on his abdomen, the other on his groin as he fought the double loss of wind. He looked up at Tallows and Youngblood behind the transporter console, making breathless angry faces and gestures at them. Tallows touched his communicator. "Tallows to Commander Nack and Captain Cir'Kem. We've got them sirs" "In a manner of speaking" Tiberian muttered darkly as he recovered and rose to his feet. He turned to the officers stepping down off the transporter pad. "Right then, we are going to Ten Forward" he clapped a hand to Forrester's shoulder "And PFC Forrester is buying the first round, got it" A cacophony of "yes sirs" filled the room as they began to file out and towards the turbolift. "This is Marine Captain Wong" Tiberian spoke into his comm badge "My complimets to all the senior staff, and would they care to join me for a celebratory drink in Ten Forward"

Nack had ordered Youngblood down to Holodeck 1. Yahnie had got up from his seat and Headed down to the holodecks, with Nika right behind him, up until the moment she stepped out on the bridge but Youngblood continued on his way. A few moments later Yahnie arrived at the Holodeck but was redirected to the transporter station. Lieutenant Youngblood manning the transporter station and asked him how the other officers were doing? Lt. Youngblood replied it seems to me they were all doing well they were anxious to get back to work. "Wong to Youngblood. Lock onto all the signatures on holodeck one and prepare to energize" he shouted above the storm. "But sir, I'm only reading three signatures within the buffer field. You said the radiation would affect the transport of the other perso..." “Don’t worry Captain Wong my transporter will pull in an instant.” I know what I said" Tiberian called angrily. The piton was on the verge of coming loose "But I don't have that luxury, and if you don't do it now, we all could die. So bloody will get on with it!" Then it happened, the piton broke, and Tiberian fell. "ENERGIZE!" He screamed, moments before the sensation of falling was replaced by the soft embrace of a transporter beam. Yahnie thought to himself that he had done the best he can do at least they were all alive. “Captain Wong it would be my pleasure to join you and your crew.”

It was typical for a marine to celebrate every accomplishment. They had the luxury of always acting and reacting, and never choosing the action itself. Commanders, Captain's, and Admirals had the duty to make decisions for their crew, no matter how unpopular at the time. Commander Nack envied Mr. Wong for this.
=/\= Mr. Wong, I will join you all shortly. I have some business to take care of. =/\= Tiberian responded, a bit surprised. Commander Nack didn't sound trite this time about his suspicions, but rather friendly.
Commander Nack had a meeting with the Captain, who, previous to the transporter incident, had just finished interviewing the crew. She wanted to discuss her findings to her first officer.
Nack wasn't the least bit surprised, when Captain Cir'Kem finished her debrief, that there was not enough evidence to implicate Tiberian Wong. Nack made it known that he would be keeping his eye on the marine, but he had let the personal vendetta go for now. He felt the tension among the crew, and if letting this event go - which luckily had not escalated into a diplomatic nightmare - would gain the respect of the crew, he would be willing to forget.
As for Commander Matthew feeling that he was not respected, Nack felt that was horse-hockey, and he made it known. I have no problem changing, if that's how he feels. I'm pretty sure, even though he is higher in his pip rank, that the First Officer out commands the Operations Officer. He seems to be an exemplary operations officer from what the Commander had read on his padd.
"I guess I have some things to consider now." Being a Commander of a ship he has never been a part of prior to this was hard. He was going to have to make some concessions to be able to keep order and maintain ship efficiency.
"Thank you Captain." Nack left the Captain's ready room, and headed toward 10-forward.

Commander Nack let Nika know that the marine had been rescued and that everyone was safe, although the holodeck still hadn't yet been repaired. Nika very much appreciated being kept informed.
Nika asked Nack to join her for a short briefing, then she responded to Tiberian's invitation to let him know that she would be there in a few minutes. Nack entered her office, and Nika informed her First Officer that there was no evidence to back up Nack's suspicions. Even though she still wasn't sure what had happened, Nika was relieved to find that Nack would be cooperating with Tiberian. Things went much more smoothly when senior officer's weren't in direct conflict. At least, that's what happened in Nika's experience.
Nika dismissed Nack and took a few seconds to check that all was still well on the bridge, a rare enough event, and then she headed down to ten-forward to join the rest of the senior staff. On her way down she realized that she had to make a decision as to whether she was still on duty. Technically, according to on-duty, off-duty hours, she was not. But she had continued to work through most of the night, thus making her effectively on duty. Nika thought briefly over what there was left to do, and decided that she didn't have to be on duty, and thus could enjoy her drink.
Nika arrived in ten-forward and joined Wong. “Congratulations on a successful mission,” Nika said, smiling, ready to let any doubts over what had happened on the surface drop.

Tiberian led his bedraggled and windswept team through the ship and into Ten Forward. Even on a ship as big as a Nebula class, word travelled fast, and upon entry they were hailed by an instant crescendo of applause and cheering. "Now what?" Martinez asked, probably having hoped for a quiet drink. "How long have you been a marine?" Tiberian asked in mock surprise at his senior NCO's comment "We follow standard procedure. Bow" All the people present took a sweeping bow "Wave" They waved "And then proceed to get hammered" Tiberian led them over to the bar. The bar staff were seemingly run off their feet, and so in true marine fashion, Tiberian leapt over the counter and began searching through the alcohol supplies. So unsurprised were the bar staff by this behaviour that they did not even seem to bat an eyelid as Tiberian pulled a menagerie of bottles and glasses from varying nooks and crannies, and placed them on the counter. He then let his imagination run riot as he mixed a dozen or so interestingly coloured cocktails from the bottles he had to hand. Many crewmembers took the glasses with thanks, swallowed the contents with relish, and then choked as the full flavour and power of the near toxic combination hit them. Having prepared one particular cocktail that he knew only to well, Tiberian poured a glass of it and presented it to PFC Forrester. "A toast ladies and gentlemen" he announced to the varying marines and Starfleet officers who had congregated around him, as he raised his glass of whisky "To the demise of a crime syndicate, to the conclusion of a very interesting mission, and to Private Forrester here, who I have no doubt will be spending his future holodeck time fishing" A short laugh "And of course to the passing of Sergenat Nnakir, a hero and good friend to marines and Starfleet alike. To absent friends" A murmur of "absent friends" went around the group before they all drank deeply from their glasses. Within seconds PFC Forrester had replaced his glass on the counter and was doubled over coughing. Tiberian and the other marines laughed loudly until the Private looked as if he was about to recover. "I invented that drink in the academy back in San Fran, you know" Tiberian informed him as the Private regained his standing position and began to inspect his drink "I call it a Warp Core Breach, and it contains roughly 40 different types of whisky, brandy, rum and the like" The laughter began anew, as Forrester visibly recoiled from his drink. Within minutes the remainder of the senior staff and other officers arrived and the party was in full swing. The Captain came over to where Tiberian was stood. "Congratulations on a successful mission" she told him. "Thank you ma'am" Tiberian said, as he and the other marines present came to attention "All I need now is a promotion, a couple of weeks shore leave and a massage, and life would be perfect" He and the marines laughed, until a devilish thought struck him. "Drink Captain" he poured a glass from the pitcher of Warp Core Breach mixture. A split second later, the XO entered. "Commander" Tiberian called out "You'll stand a drink with us as well won't you" He poured yet another glass, before refilling his own whisky, and then offering the two glasses to the Captain and XO.
