Nika let out a breath she'd been perfectly aware of holding when Galwyn's reply came through. Nack's answer glazed over the truth less than Galwyn's had. </\> We are ok... those of us that are left...</\>The situation was explained.</\> They really wanted you it seems. Unique physiology seems translate into higher profit margins </\>
</\>Lovely</\> Nika replied sarcastically. She felt she should be able to come up with a better reply, but her mind wasn't supplying an answer. </\>Have you found Ambassador Karzi?</\>
There was a longer pause, then an affirmation that they had, and would be heading back within transporter range of the Victory. Nika arranged for a medic to be waiting in the transporter room, as while as several security officers, as Sharp requested their presence. Then she left the bridge in the capable hands of Commander Matthew, to head down herself to transporter room one.
As the away team was materializing on the Victory, Nika couldn't help but feel that things had gone badly, a fact that was confirmed once they finished. She tried to stay back and let the medic what work he could before summoning everyone to sickbay without getting in his way, but she knew she wasn't entirely successful.
“Are you alright?” she asked, looking between her senior officers, Karzi, and back at Nack again. She already knew of the dead officer, and while she'd be combing through the full briefing from Nack and the others to learn the circumstances of his death—so she could explain them to his family and to herself—she needed to know now if there was anyone who needed immediate full emergency medical attention. As well as she needed reassurance that Nack and the Ambassador especially, both of whom looked like they were at less than full strength, were fine.

USS VICTORY - MAIN Bridge
“LT, Zee entered the bridge from the turbo lift to start his Duty shift The first thing he see is Cmdr Matthew sitting in the Center Chair reading a PADD’
"Matthew didn’t like sitting on the Bridge when his commanding officer more then likely is in Danger but a Order is a order so he would Stay on the bridge as My Grandfather always said that the Chief' of Ship Operations primary responsibility is to his ship and then its Captain."
" Mister Ortega Matthew said with a slight sigh. "How's repairs coming along with the Transporter ?"
"Lt, Ortega" checking now sir as he punched up the information Engineering report that Transporter will be operational within the hour “
“Cmdr Matthew nodded and looked at the screen. Carter you still have a open channel to the Captain and a Transporter Signal lock sir “
“Cmdr Matthew let me know if anything Start to happen Lieutenant”

"I am doing alright" Nack said, while rubbing the top of his head, then switching to his elbow, then to his knees. It was clear he was in pain, as each time he touched a new joint or bodily surface, he winced.
"I'll get down to sickbay in a little while. Is everyone else ok here?" He looked around. For the most part, everyone seemed fine. Tiana was acting her usual self. It seemed that Nack had the only injuries to complain about. That is, aside from the security officer that was lost.
"I suggest we take Ambassador Karzi down to sickbay. I can take care of him there, ensure he gets the best of care." It wasn't every day that the ambassador saw a Ferengi first officer, which was the subject of the conversation on the way back to the Victory for the most part. The fact that he was a doctor as well was a new surprise.
"Sharp is tending to our prisoner in the brig." He left it simply at that, Sharp no doubt would explain the situation to the Captain, and she had more pressing details to overcome.
"I suggest we continue our discussion in sickbay." The medic in the transporter room seemed relieved. Nack limped to the door, leading the others.

Tiana sighed with relief as the cave faded from around them and was replaced by the Victory's transporter room. The away mission was over and given that they'd found the ambassador and got him back to the ship in one piece it was a success.
Commander Nack and Ambassador Karzi were on their way to sickbay. but Tiana decided not to join them. Her headache and dizziness had subsided and she had gotten away with bumps and bruises and to be honest she had worse playing raquetball. She walked slowly back to her quarter and threw herself into the shower. She put on some clean clothes, stared at her by now somewhat battered uniform laying on the floor but decided not to do anything about it and sat down. She had been planning on writing her report and then contacting Russell for that drink and meal. However, as she sat at her desk staring at blank PADD trying to decide where to start her report. She found herself dwelling to what had happened to her in the caves. She could have died. Tiana swallowed hard trying to hold back the tears.
"Computer, where is Commander Davis?" "Commander Davis is in his office." Tiana swallowed and hoped he wasn't working. "Is anyone else in Commander Davis's Office?" "No" Tiana gave a slight smile and tagged her comm badge. =/\=Commander Galwyn to Commander Davis, Hi Russell. I'm back off that away mission. Are you able to have that drink and dinner now=/\= She guessed that he would pick up that she was a little stressed at the moment.
Tag: Russell
=/\=I'll see you shortly then. Thanks Russ it's been a rough day.=/\= With a rather more real smile Tiana closed the comm link and started braiding her hair. It did not take her long to consider herself ready.

Brig
Sharp takes the prisoner to the brig and places him in the cell and tells the guard to keep an eye on him. Sharp then exits the brig and heads to his quarters and takes a sonic shower then puts on a clean uniform and then realizes he hasn't even settled in when he came aboard.
Sharp decides to go see the captain and heads to the captains ready room. he arrives on the bridge and rings the chime on the captains ready room door.

Nika followed Nack to sickbay, fluttering nervously around both him and the ambassador. By the time they had actually reached sickbay, she felt she'd been told enough of the situation that she could handle what she needed to, and wait for an official report for the rest. So, to the obvious relief of the medical staff, Nika left for the bridge.
Nika stayed on the bridge just long enough to make sure nothing else had gone wrong before retiring to her ready room to contact the planetary government and the Breen. Though not in that order; Nika had the feeling the Breen wouldn't like being the second to know Karzi had been recovered.
That conversation was a little puzzling, since Nika would have expected something approaching emotion coming from the Breen's words. Since she couldn't actually imagine how that would sound, however, she figured that whatever the Breen used to translate their voices took out what emotion she could otherwise have heard. It was easier to imagine that than to imagine a method of communication that lacked intonation.
She wrapped up the discussion with another promise to update the Breen if the ambassador's status changed. She wanted to attribute to the Breen a feeling of concern, but she wasn't sure she could honestly do that. Nika was planning to contact the local government next, but she was stopped by the buzz of Commander Sharp at the door.
She let him in, giving a brief nod of thanks for his good timing which had allowed him to fall nicely between her official discussions, without interrupting either of them.
“What is it Commander?” she asked him.

Russell looked at the padd in frount of him with the recent report from a few members of the crew, not really paying attention to what the report was saying he was looking to see the general opinions of the crew members to others around them. Checking the time he realised he had not left his office in over 3 hours and that he should really get something to eat before continuing, just as he stood to go to the replicator to get something small to eat he heard his comm. badge go off. =/\=Commander Galwyn to Lieutenant Commander Davis, Hi Russell. I'm back off that away mission. Are you able to have that drink and dinner now=/\= Russell listened to Tiana and noted that she sounded quite tired as well as a little stressed or angry, not wishing to annoy her further he quickly responded avoiding mentioning how she sounded, he would speak to her about it later =/\=I would like that, lets say ten forward in 20 minutes?=/\= Russell knew she would not have a problem with that, quickly sending a report to star fleet medical on the updates to medical files Russell made his way to his quarters to change.
Arriving at ten forward with moments to spare he walked in and began to look for Tiana, he did not have to look for long to notice her near one of the windows, making his way over he quickly made sure his shirt was okay before he arrived. ‘ever since I got a star fleet uniform normal clothes have felt odd’ quickly kissing Tiana on the cheek he took the seat opposite her and took a more proper look at her, she looked quite drained and he noted that her eyes had the look of recent tears. “So what are you having?” Russell felt he should not pry the reason from her as she would tell him when she was ready, and he was not going to mention the away mission until she did.

"All fixed up," The medic said to Nack, who was holding back every possible insult he could think of. The nurse... doctor...whoever she was... Ooooooooooo Nack was so angry he couldn't think straight.... she was going to get it, and yet she had no clue.
It was supposed to be a routine fix-em-up visit for the Ferengi. After away missions of this nature, it was common for Starfleet officers to have minor bumps and bruises. While Nack's injuries had surpassed minor, they were nowhere near life threatening. In and out - Nack figured - and he could continue briefing the Captain, and debriefing the Ambassador.
"Right here!" a friendly voice said when Nack queried if anyone was in the sickbay. Pleasant girl, Bajoran nose ridges adorned her face, but they weren't prominent. She was probably half-Bajoran half-human. "Sit down on the bed and I'll be there in a moment."
Strange - Nack thought. She had no idea of his condition - what if he were seriously hurt? There was nobody else in sickbay, what could she honestly be doing? This one oversight on her part he was willing to overlook. Perhaps he would have a small discussion with her about it.
"Where does it hurt?" she said as she rounded the corner with an armful of unnecessary equipment. Nack, having been extensively trained in triage medicine, did not see the need for all of it. But - she was new. If she felt more comfortable with more gizmos, then by all means she can use them.
"Right here, here..." Nack continued pointing to places on his body that have been obviously bludgeoned or bruised as she scanned them. Several times she poked the bruises, one time causing Nack to shriek a high-pitched Ferengi cry. "Eeeyow!"
She apologized, but kept to her devices, using them one by one, all the while never treating anything.
"Aren't you going to use the subdermal stimulator on these?" he said, still in pain from the last jab.
"I will, Commander. Will you let me do my job?"
How many times has he heard someone say that over the years he was in Starfleet just to find that they had no clue what they were doing. Commander Logan Byrne in engineering on the USS Vesuvius ended up delivering the Commodore's baby because he didn't do his job, after insisting the gravity plating was going to be back on. The former Senior Marine officer of the Victory, Tiberian Wong, unlawfully killed two Cardassians... and got away with it... because Nack let him 'do his job'. The line was frankly wearing thin on its merits, but Nack once again gave this woman.. girl .. the benefit of the doubt.
The last straw, however, occurred while Nack was running through polite ways of telling the Captain that perhaps she and he would have to take a look at exactly how sickbay is ran.
The sound of a hypospray discharging was unusually loud. Commander Nack's right ear immediately started burning, then throbbing, before he curled into the ball on the floor unable to do anything for the immense pain that had overcome his body.
The medic freaked. "What's wrong! I used the standard hypospray... it's supposed to increase your capillary regeneration rate. Get rid of your bruises!" She explained all of this to a Ferengi who had essentially been kicked where it counts. He paid no attention for the eight minutes he was consumed with pain.
Finally, the medic did something right, and administered a numbing agent to the ear location. It seemed like forever, to Nack, before the agent took affect. His ear still throbbed.
"All fixed up," she said in a perky tone.
This instance was Nack's breaking point. Without saying anything he marched his short stature, bruised and battered, but strong willed, body up to the bridge and waited for the Captain to give him the floor. They needed someone in charge in sickbay. It was chaos down there. True, he was once a Chief Medical Officer, but he couldn't do everything on the ship. He would petition, as the chief executive officer, for the requisition of a chief medical officer.
He let out a small whimper as he felt his numb ear. At least the throbbing had stopped.

Captain i just wanted to give you my report on what happened down on the planet. Sharp gives his report to the captain. Captain i am worried about commander Galwyn she seemed to have suffered traumatically on this mission they were going to remove her spots. I also believe that this operation is bigger than found here. i am going to inform star fleet security at STAR BASE ASSAILANT so they can keep an eye out for this. Captain I have read everything that could be smuggled on the black market but i have never heard of stealing and selling body parts on the black market. Permision to be dismissed?
<tagCir'Kem>
AS Sharp exits the Captains ready room he notices Nack standing near the command chair talking to commander matthews. "Commander are you doing all right sir."
<tagNack>
After the conversation with the Xo Sharp heads to the turbolift and heads for 10 forward and notices Commander Galwyn and Commander Russel sitting and having a drink. Sharp goes over and asks if he can join them.

Scene: Main Bridge
“Cmdr Matthew looking at a PADD with the Latest department status reports when the soft chime marking an hour took his attention out from the PADD he was reading.
"1400 hours..." he muttered. Sometimes, Command was frankly boring. He was starting to miss some the old Day‘s when he was a junior Operations officer on a Star Base one of hundreds junior officers with very little responsibility but to turn in a report once every duty sift “
“He was really miss going on a Archaeology Dig one of his many hobbies he had Taken up to relieve the pressures and Headaches that come with being a Senior Bridge officer “
“But he was a firm believer of the loneliness of command as a necessary evil. But He always pattern his command style when dealing with the Bridge Officers he tried to be a warmer figure, without becoming like a father, that would be, in his mind, terrible.”
“The VICTORY was Operating under some un-Natural. Condition’s I wouldn't dare to say the Ship was running smoothly.
The Our current situation is better now Captain Cir’kem and all of the away team are back on board the victory with some minor Cuts and bruises Cmdr Nack was taken Direct to sick bay with unspecified Medical reason But Nothing life threatening he more then likely cut his finger or something .

Nika received Sharp's reply. “Your recommendation is noted, and permission to be dismissed granted,” she said, when she actually had a chance to reply to the Commander.
On his way out of her office, Sharp was passed by Nack going the other direction. “Shouldn't you be in sickbay, Commander?” Nika asked in what was meant only to be an expression of concern for her first officer's health. Nack, however, responded in a rather emphatic fashion, saying many words all too quickly for Nika to follow them all. Except that Nack seemed to feel some kind of drastic action was necessary.
“A Chief Medical Officer?” Nika repeated, which she saw as necessary to make sure she understood the situation. “Of course I can try to request one, but much of the fleet is a little short on staff just now.” And the fact that the Victory hadn't been able to keep her Chief Medical Officers more than a month, two at most, didn't speak well for getting a replacement. And it also meant that whenever the Victory did get a new CMO, there would be a lot of back-work for him or her to do.
Nika would have loved to listen to Nack's opinion on ship operations, but she had a few foreign governments to settle with first. She couldn't move the ship until she'd talked with the government of Haptan Beta, but she rather wanted to get the ambassador back to his station. “Is there anything else?” she asked.

OOC: This is a joint post between Commander Davis and myself.
Tiana walked out of her quarters and went towards ten forward. She found an empty table by the window and sat down staring out at the star streaks. They somehow seemed very soothing. Russell arrived shortly after her and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek before he sat opposite her.
“So what are you having?” Tiana's first thought was for something very strong and maybe a sedative, but she didn't say that. Instead she gave a wan smile "I'll have an apple juice." She swallowed "I don't feel much like eating at the moment. Thank-you for making time this evening."
Russell smiled. "Of course I'd make time." The 'for you' hung unspoken between them.
Tiana stared at her apple juice. She wanted to talk, she just didn't know quite where to start. "It's been a rough day. My first away mission and...." she swallowed.
Russell leaned forward across the table. This was obviously hard for her. As Tiana started speaking again he noted that her voice had dropped in volume. He could barely hear her.
"I almost got killed and then I nearly killed someone." Tiana said. The words were very quiet and she was speaking so fast that they were running together, all the same she knew Russell heard her.
Russell's eyes met Tiana's across the table, his smile was still in place but his heart was knotted because she was hurting like this. He knew it was better to let her talk rather than ask a load of questions but it was awfully hard to stay silent.
Tiana refocused on the dark soothing eyes across the table. She swallowed again, somehow Russell's mere presence was calming. "I don't know if you have been told about the smugglers.."
Russell shook his head, despite his intentions his mountain of paperwork had kept him from keeping up with the results of the away mission.
"Well." Tiana shivered slightly as the memories hit her once more. "One of the things they were trading in was organs." She paused again waiting for that to register. She wasn't sure it had registered with her yet.
That hadn't been what Russell had been expecting to hear. He suppressed a slight involuntary shiver and reached across the table to take Tiana's hand as she continued to dredge up things she would obviously rather forget. He noted that her fingers were almost cold to the touch.
"It seems that they were actually after the Captain. Unusual race, therefore unusual organs." Tiana's voice had fallen into flatness as she spoke, the tension in her body was betrayed by the pressure was putting on Russell's fingers.
Russell was sure that Tiana was no where near as calm as she was sounding, her arm was trembling where she was holding his hand. Russell noted that his fingers were starting to turn white, he ignored that and budged his chair around the table towards Tiana.
Tiana looked into Russell's eyes. She didn't know where she was getting the strength to tell the this tale. "We got captured. They killed one of the security guards, I didn't know his name." She swallowed again. "They took the rest of us captive. They made me chain the others up and lead us away at gun point." She knew her eyes were tearing up but she was determined not to cry at the moment.
Russell knew there was very little he could say, it was a matter of letting her talk and then helping her to cope with the fall out. 'And' he added to himself 'the other thing he intended to do was simply be there for her.'
"They locked the others up and took me away on my own. At that moment I had never been so scared in my life. Not even fire makes me feel that bad." She gave a wan smile remembering their aborted trip to the holodeck what seemed like an age ago. "There was a Romulan, Valshar. He did their organ extraction. They wanted a symbiont. They seemed to think I was joined. They did some scans and eventually were convinced that I wasn't what they wanted. There was a fight. Then I got shot." She rubbed her shoulder with her free hand. She couldn't bear to let go of Russell. "I thought I was going to die." Then the tears came.
Russell stayed silent as Tiana started to cry. He wrapped an arm around her shoulders, she made no outward sign of noticing but her sobs quietened.
"I guess it didn't end too badly. Valshar is dead and I'm alive and not much the worse for wear." Her voice was quiet still and choked with tears, but she was feeling better. She twisted in her seat and gave Russell a slightly watery but genuine smile.
"Can I join you?" The words intruded into Russell's mind and he twisted round to look at Commander Sharp. His arm slipped from Tiana's shoulders and he tried to decide what to say. Tiana stood up next to him.
Commander Sharp's words jarred Tiana back to the moment and the tears started again. She stood up trying to hide the tears from Commander Sharp. She ran out of ten forward elbowing her way none-too-gently past the CTSO on her way out.
Russell looked after Tiana's retreating back for a moment, he hoped was okay, and they looked back at Commander Sharp. "Thank-you for interrupting a Counseling session." he said simply.
