Loskene was sitting in his ready room, busy going over padds, looking at various transfers, minor ship problems and cargo transfers. It had been a few days since the Jefferson had arrived at the Starbase. Loskene had fully recovered from his experience, and Raiben Winters was still being looked over in sickbay. He hoped that Ensign Winters would be able to remain aboard... As for the Dominion threat, it was reportedly just a rogue band of terrorists. The Dominion had apprehended the rogues and brought them back to the Gamma quadrant for punishment etc. Starfleet agreed to hand them over to the Dominion, in the interests of trust and peace.
Several hours later, Loskene was completed with his day of work and returned to his quarters. He was slightly fatigued and sat down on his couch. He began to stretch out his legs and close his eyes when suddenly, ahead of him, a bright light flashed and engulfed the room. A white vortex or window opened up in the wall and it began to get very windy and noisy, as if a bulkhead had decompressed. Loskene squinted and began to grimace as the bright light hit him in the face. He got up from his couch and tried to get closer...
He began to see something emerging from the white hole. It was a figure. As it got closer to Loskene, he began to see a face. It was....................himself.. Loskene could not believe it. The man was himself. He was wearing a very dirty uniform, his face was bloody and covered with dust and dirt. The Figure got close to Loskene and grabbed onto him tightly.
"Loskene": P--p-please. Please listen to me. You need to know something!
Commodore Loskene: Who-who are you?!
"Loskene": I am Admiral Loskene....CO of the USS Jefferson. Please, I know this is terribly confusing, but you must listen!
Commodore Loskene: Admiral Loskene...??
"Loskene": Listen!
Commodore Loskene: What is going on??
"Loskene": Something is terribly wrong. I came here, to tell you... Something is about to take place soon. Something that cannot be allowed to happen. The safety of the Federation, and indeed the entire galaxy is at risk! H-heed my warning, Commodore. Three years, five months and six days from now, a terrible tragedy will occur, right here at this starbase. It will begin here, but it will not stop.. I... aagh!
The dirty figure began to wince in pain.
Commodore Loskene: What....are you saying.......
"Loskene": If you do not act soon...they will.
Commodore Loskene: Who is "they"?
"Loskene": It's the Romulans. They are experimenting with...dimensional fracturing...
Commodore Loskene: Dimensional what?
"Loskene": Fracturing! They have just started. If you find them now, you can end it before it's too late! It is a terrible weapon, it disrupts subspace, it rips through normal space causing catastrophic reactions in stars and other spatial phenomenon. It will cause a chain reaction of supernovas, which will entail the destruction of thousands of star systems, and eventually the whole galaxy will suffer the same fate! The Romulans are unaware of the destruction they will cause...You must stop them.... The Jefferson has spent years looking for a time rift. This is how I am able to speak with you!
Commodore Loskene: You...You're...
"Loskene": From the future, Commodore! Three years from now! Please, do all that you can! Go to... Cirrus Procae System......
Commodore Loskene: That is deep inside Romulan territory. It is impossible.
"Loskene": YOU must do everything you can!!! Go now!! The time rift is beginning to close, I must leave now! Please, I beg of you!
The white light in Loskene's room immediately ceased, and Commodore Loskene was left alone. He stood there for minutes, feeling quite shocked at what had just been revealed to him.
OOC: Will finish this up a bit later.

Commodore Loskene took a few minutes to collect his thoughts and emotions. He was still very troubled by the whole ordeal. He decided that it would be best to search for some facts. He went over to his com panel and activated it. Loskene: =^=Loskene to engineering=^= Max Power: Engineering here sir. What d' you need? Loskene: Mr. Power, please come up here with a few members of your engineering team. Bring diagnostic equipment. I need to perform some very detailed scans of my room. Max Power: ...Er....Yes sir. I'll round everyone up and we will be there soon. Powers out. Loskene left his quarters and headed for the bridge. He ran into Joni. Loskene almost walked right by her but was stopped by her voice. Joni Kel: Loskene?... Something wrong? Loskene: I'm not sure. I- I'll explain later, I got to get to the bridge. Kel: I'll come with you. Loskene and Joni got onto the turbolift, and walked onto the bridge. Commander Matthew was seated in the captains seat. He began to stand when Loskene held out his hand. Loskene: At ease Commander. Please get ahold of the Starbase immediately. Matthew: Yes sir. Something wrong? Loskene: I don't know yet. Matthew: Alright, I have them on sir. Loskene: Good, please put it through to my ready room. Loskene walked urgently to his ready room, leaving a few of the bridge officers slightly confused. OOC: Tag; Mr. Powers. Everyone else please join in!

He looked over the PADD that he had been given by the commodore and began to familiarize himself with the details and records of some of the new senior staff coming on board. Cmdr Matthew already knew Ensign Winters the ship Chief of security. As well as the CEO Lt, Power at least there would be some familiar face amongst the crowd. The COO was unknown to him but his record spoke for its self. Having a good Chief engineer on Board a Star ship was absolutely essential.
The Chief of science was an unknown quantity also although from his records he was a family man and came from a rather more civilian background than most SF officers.
Cmdr Matthew had only six hours sleep before he reported for duty, but for James 6 hours would be more than adequate.
The following morning Cmdr Matthew was up and showered for 07.00 am and heading for the main Bridge.
The PADD had indicated a yellow alert condition and as he entered the main Bridge and crossed the security check point he considered that all the Dept heads should have reported in by now for there Departments .
The layout of the Bridge was similar to a typical SF bridge even including a large viewing screen that at this time was scrolling statistical details of the Current Sector . Ensign Joshua Colt turned from strategic operations and greeted Cmdr Matthew > "Ensign do we have reports back in from the department heads yet?" The Ensign replied a negative. "Well make sure they understand that I need them now ill” be down in Cargo bay # 12 checking on those new torpedoes Cmdr Matthew Exited the Bridge .
( Cargo Bay #12 ) Cmdr Matthew entered the room on his routine inspection before heading off to his office.
Cmdr Matthew > "Good morning Lieutenant, how is it going on your first morning Being on a sovereign Class star Ship."
Lt Stanchion> " I have just arrived all seems well, there were a couple of mist labeling but we got it striate now we are good to go sir !!"
Cmdr Matthew >" Hrmm, ok Lieutenant " he said with a troubled expression. " I want those transfer reports on my desk within the hour Lieutenant, see to it!" Lt stanchion> " Aye sir!" The Commander left and Stanchion then turned his attention to getting those reports ready.. ==/\== end log ==/\==

Mr Power, his assitant Ensign Lea and the engineer crew arrived in commodore Loskene's ready room.
Max "Ok, every spread out...theres bound to be a steak somewhere here."
The engineering crew started setting up their equipment and started running test.
Lea "They completly ignored you!"
Max "No they didnt. They completly listened to me. It's what i say for 'I dont have a clue why we are here, just scan till we find something' code. You will learn as we go along. Now, wheres that tricorder"
Lea "Um, in your hand"
Max "Good work. You deserve a break. But we have work to do. Start scanning for things using my tri-corder"
Max hands the tri-corder to Lea.
Lea "I have my own"
Max "Indeed you do. However, you are still not scanning. Crewman Johnson, trying sub-space scanning. See if something happen from sub-space. Hell, why not try time-travel residue. If someone was here from the future or past, there bound to be something."
Lea looked on as Max started interacting with the engineering time. Scan after scan proved nothing.
Max "Hmmm, everything seems fine. Anything we havent tried?"
Lea "Well, Sub-space didn't find another out of the ordaniary. Besides, we have found a new way to detect sub-space communication by chance, however, we have to be intween two sub-space communication relays to intercept. What's left is your time thing."
Max "Ahh yes. Convert your scanners to scan for any time-shift paticles that dont belong here. Some particles accidently float through if someone made contact. Um, yeah. Sounds fun.
The crew started scanning.
Crewman "It should take about 4-5 hours to complete the scan. We don't know how to look. Plus, we have other scans to complete too...may take most the day."
Max "Understood, i will inform the commodore directly. Contuine on. Lea, if you may..."
Max signal Lea to join him as they walked towards the bridge.
-Bridge-
Loskene "Any news?"
Max "Sorry Commodore, sir. We have found nothing as of yet, however, we are still doing some scans. They will be completed later today."
Loskene "Understood. Carry on."
Max headed back to his quarters. He decided to get some rest.

Footstep's rang clearly through the corridor. It was empty, as was usual during this hour. Only delta shift was on duty, most of the rest were either deep in sleep or enjoying company in 10 forward.
The footstep's were Aral's, and he hadn't passed anyone since he'd entered the turbolift. He turned a corner and stepped infront of a door. They weren't his old quarters. Like everything else he had once had on the Jefferson, they belonged to someone else.
"Open. Authorization GibsonAlpha2-2." The doors slid apart and he stepped in. Depositing his bag on the dresser he took a seat on the bed. He looked around, "Lights."
A mirror was placed beside the bed and he stared into it. With a frown he ran his hand through his hair. It had always been a shade of golden blonde, but these last few months it had started to darken- in places it was almost black. He thought it strange, but could find no reason to find it alarming.
Swinging his legs onto the bed, he laid back. His hair wasn't the only thing that changed lately. Aral was no longer the cocky, muscle-headed security officer he had once been.
He had learned alot. The difference between confidence and arrogant for one.
And although his love for weapons and martial arts hadn't left him, it had dampened some.
But one of the more major changes was the fact that he was back on the jefferson as the helm officer. Aral never would have thought he would have been in this situation- especially since he had nearly failed the navigation course at the academy. But he had went back to the academy for additional training in navigation, and here he was, a fully capable helm officer.
Sitting up he changed out of his civilian garb and into his uniform. His transfer orders had read to join the next shift, so he would be reporting to the captain in about 5 minutes. Running a comb through his darkening hair, he checked himself over for presentability. With a nodd he strode out the door and headed for the bridge.
"Commander Matthew." Aral said, adressing the 1st officer, "Where is the commodore?"
"In his ready room, but I'd watch out, something's going on and he's acting strange." Matthew said, the observation seeming slightly out of place for the officer's by the book personality. But Aral had barely gotten to know him before he had left so he couldn't be sure of it.
He requested entrance to the commodore's ready room, and when the door opened he stepped inside, "Reporting for duty, commodore."

T'Val frowned as she entered the sickbay of the USS Jefferson; the previous CMO had left the place in a mess and the staff had seemingly not bothered to clean up either. She pointedly assigned the nearest nurses to start cleaning at least the surgery area up and desinfect everything, from equipment to the deck. "This place must be the cleanest place of the ship," she commented, "we cannot afford the crew being infected with something due to the carelesness of the medical department. Now snap to it!"
The medical staff hurried to get about their duties, and in no-time, sickbay was as clean as it was supposed to be. "Very good," T'Val praised, and on her shoulder, green Yade chirped in agreement. "I will be on the bridge if there is need of me. You there, what is your name?" She pointed at what she assumed to be the chief nurse.
"Chief Nurse Mayers, ma'am," the man said, gazing at the Vulcan Healer, draped in civillian clothing, in surprise.
"You will be in charge until I return."
"Yes ma'am. Uh ma'am, how may I address you when there is need?"
"My apollogies. I am Healer T'Val, assigned to this vessel until Starfleet sees it fit to send you a Starfleet doctor."
"Yes ma'am."
T'Val nodded once more and turned on her heels to leave sickbay. Earlier she had stopped by the quartermaster, who showed her to her quarters. After that, she had dropped off D'Beren at the daycare centre. Now, she had to report to the bridge and to her new commanding officer.
She stepped onto the bridge, and quickly spotted Commodore Loskene. "Sir, Healer T'Val reporting for duty," she said. Yade chirped questioningy, but stayed hidden in T'Vals long hair.

Commodore Loskene came out of his ready room for the first time in a couple of hours. He was stressed, had just been talking with a senior officer on the Assailant. The first thing he saw when he came onto the bridge was two officers approaching him. On the left was A man with blonde/dark hair and on his right was a woman. They both began to talk at once.
Aral Gibson: I'm sorry, you go first.
T'Val: Thank you.
Loskene: Wait a minute, wait a minute. Perhaps you two could report in to me later, I'm very busy, I need to get down to engineering. Mr. Powers has an update for me. I--
Loskene stopped talking for a moment and turned around to face the two.
Loskene: Mr. Gibson? ...I- Is that you?....
Gibson: Yes sir, I am the new CNO.
Loskene: Oh... It has been a long time...
Gibson: A few months. A lot has happened.
Loskene: A lot has happened here as well. Sometime when I'm not so busy we must commiserate.
Gibson: Sounds like a good idea, sir.
Loskene: And what's happened to your hair?
Gibson: Well I-
Loskene: Sorry, I really need to be going. Both of you please report to me later, and welcome aboard...er..
T'val: I am Dr. T'Val.
Loskene: Good, could you please do me a favor and remind the senior staff that their physicals are due soon? Thanks.
Loskene quickly left the bridge and headed for engineering.

T'Val nodded. "Aye commodore," she said, then turned back to him, "sir, may I remind you that you are included in the call for physicals?" She didn't await his answer and walked back to the turbolift, nodding once to Aral Gibson.
Once back in sickbay, she sent a note to every senior officer to report to sickbay at their earliest convenience for their physicals. If Loskene hadn't told her to perform them, she'd have made the call anyway because she wanted to ascertain the fitness of the crew first hand, rather than from records from the previous CMO, if at all he had bothered to perform the physicals.
"And now we wait," she muttered to herself, as she ordered fresh red meat from the replicator to feed her firelizard.
Nurse Mayers squealed as he saw the creature, and Yade squawked in return. "What is that!" the man exclaimed.
"This is Yade, my firelizard. Careful, she is still young and has not yet learned to tell friend from foe. Come, she will not harm you." She addressed the green firelizard. "Yade, this is a member of my staff. If you see him and he has need of me, come and get me."
Yade squawked and allowed the nurse to pet her. "She's soft!" the man exclaimed, suddenly less frightened.
T'Val rolled her eyes as she continued to feed her little friend. "She is also very useful. Look." She gazed at the green. "Bring this status report to Commodore Loskene." She pictured Loskene's image, and the little green winked out. "Loskene has his report now," she stated.

Raiben entered his quarters with a bored looking face.
"God dammit. What the bloody hell they have done to my brain, its killing me"he told out.
He slowly walk towards a chair, while trying to sit at it he missed the chair and while in mid air a short table moved between him and the ground easily stoping the fall. Raiben didn't noticed that and took off his boots and unifom. Then he sliped to his bed and fell asleep as soon as his head touch the pillow.

Loskene went down to engineering, awaiting news from Max Powers on his findings.
Loskene: Mr. Powers, what have you found out?
Powers: Well sir, we have found some strange particles. They seem to be temporal in nature.
Loskene: Chronitons?
Powers: Not exactly. They are in a state of extreme flux, they are natural.
Loskene: He said he was coming through a temporal rift...
Powers: He...He who sir?
Loskene: I can't say right now Mr. Powers. Thank you, I'll bring this to Starfleet's attention. In the meantime Mr. Powers, tune up the engines. I have a feeling that we'll be heading out soon.
Powers: Right sir.
Loskene headed over to a panel on the wall.
Loskene: Loskene to Ensign Winters.
Winters: Yes, Winters here sir. What is it?
Loskene: Everything okay? You sounded startled.
Winters: I apologise sir, I fell asleep.
Loskene: Are you fit for duty Mr. Winters?
Winters: More then ever sir.
Loskene: Well then, get dressed and head to the bridge on the double.
Winters: ...But the doctor said-
Loskene: Just get to the bridge, I will deal with the doctor if there is a problem. Please make sure that weapons system and shields are at maximum effiency, we may need them.
Winters: Yes sir. Thank you sir. I'll be there.
Max Powers ran up to Loskene.
Powers: Commodore, I just spoke to this new woman, T'Val. She says that you need to report to sickbay for a physical.
Loskene rolled his eyes and scoffed.
Powers: Sorry to hear it sir. Good luck.
Loskene: I'm not the only one. We're all due. Mr. Powers, please get to sickbay for your physical.
Powers: HEY! But...sir....Your first.
Loskene: Well, I have some important things to do. Enjoy yourself.
Powers began to shake with rage but kept his mouth shut til the Commodore left.
A few minutes later, Loskene left the Jefferson and headed to the starbase. There was going to be a meeting with several admirals. They would look at the evidence, and decide if action would be taken....

T'Val looked up from her work as a team of medics brought a handful of patients in. Four of them were screaming for attention, screaming that they were in pain, but the fifth remained remarkably quiet. She got up and went over to ask what had happened.
"Accident on the holodeck ma'am," one of the medics reported, "more will be coming in we will just settle these before we go pick up three others. The goons decided to turn the holodeck safeties off. I will have to report them to security."
T'Val nodded as she turned to the silent patient. He looked pale, and sweat was forming on his brow. When she wiped it away, it didn't return. She turned, nearly losing her balance as suddenly she was yanked around by her arm. "Hey, we are in pain doc, give us something," one of the men demanded.
The Vulcan doctor glared at them coldly and turned her back to them, focussing once more on the silent patient. "Respirator," she ordered a nurse, as she ran her scanner over the young man, "and 20cc of Cordrazine."
She was yanked away once more, and now she could no longer contain her anger. "You will wait your turn," she snapped, "early assessment told me that because you are screaming for attention at least you have two things that this young man may not have! You scream, therefor you have breath, you move, therefor you have circulation. Now shut up and wait your turn!"
Surprised at her outburst, the men fell silent. The looked anxiously at the green dragon-like creature that had come winging in screeching in anger, its eyes whirling yellow and orange. The green settled on a monitor, and kept close quarters on the four men, ready to strike should they touch the CMO once more.
T'Val had turned back to her patient, and was relieved to find his breath and circulation returning. "No major injuries," she noted to the nurse, "you may attend to those four now. If they have any breaks, cast them." At the surprised glance from the nurse she added. "If we mend their bones, they will do it again soon; if we do not, perhaps they will learn something from it."
Just then, their silent patient opened his eyes and T'Val noted the fear in them as he tried to get his bearings. Gently, she pushed him down as he tried to sit up. "Greetings," she said softly, "do not move you have just been revived after a cardiac arrest. We will sedate you now so that you will sleep for a few hours. When you wake next, you may tell me how it happened." She prepped a hypo and at the man's nod prssed it against his throat.
She turned back to the four, pleased to find that the nurse had done as she was told. Two of them had a broken leg, the fourth a nice cast around his arm. "You will wait here until I have informed security and Commodore van der Velden," she said, and erected a forcefield around the foursome.
T'Val walked away into her office, leaving her firelizard to guard the men. "Sickbay to bridge. I have five men here in sickbay, one of which severely injured after an accident on the holodeck. My medics reported that they had the safeties off. Please dispatch a security team to pick them up for questioning."
Just then, the medics arrived with the remaining three. "Make that eight men, sir," she added prior to signing off. Only minutes later, the chief engineer walked in for his physical.

Raiben focused his mind on the task at hand. He double checked the combat systems of the ship making sure they are working and noticed that one of the port side dorsal phasers are running at %92. He noted it and sended a report to engineering for it to be fixed.
Then suddenly he felt the passion of pain in him, running through all his mind and veins. He held fast to his console not to fall and tried to empty his mind. These new powers of him are overwhelming him with unnamable feelings.
His console beeped with a report. Raiben was glad that there happened to be something to concentrate on.
Some goons turned the safety of at the holodeck and injured themselves. Raiben quickly changed the holodecks settings to top security clearence.
"Who the hell turned the bloody safety protocols to level 2 clearance?" he asked towards his deputy standing right behind him.
"I do not know sir" camed the reply.
"Well go after it and learn who has done it" he ordered and started waiting for the Commodore.

Cmdr Matthew was pacing around the bridge awaiting the department heads reports.
In the mean time Ops were giving him regular updates on the ship systems as well as other trivial matters he needed to attend to.
The science department had reported in and Deputy Chief of science Ensign Luna was on station on the bridge.
The latest Star fleet information on the Raton six colony had been more sever Star Fleet has sent three ships to help Captain Walker of the USS Dalton was reporting there was minor damage to the colony , but the main damage was to moral.
The cold weather was not helping either cmdr Matthew have some old Academy friends that lived on that colony he hope they where ok
The door to the bridge slid open and in walked the massive Vulcan, ensign Laver.
Laver made his way to Matthew and snapped to attention. The security Dill you ordered is underway "Sir, all security teams have been placed on roaming patrols in all high security sectors of the ship .
Cmdr Matthew “ tugged on his Uniform to straighten it, "Very good Ensign, at ease. Ok Ensign Laver Debrief your teams and stand down ‘
I will expect your report with-in the hour’ I will Tell your department head that you did a outstanding job Caring out my orders it will look good on your service record the next time you come up before the promotion board .
Cmdr Matthew liked the eagerness of Young security officer ensign Laver. . Cmdr Matthew then began reviewing Ensign Lavers tactical placement of his security teams. It was at this moment there was an alarm beep and the strategic ops officer turned to Cmdr Matthew “ . Ensign Joshua Colt> "Sir we have received a signal from the Base a Mr. Dunning Wish to Speak with you on channel 12 sir ‘
Cmdr Matthew > channel 12 that a old outdated comm. channel put him though”
Ensign Laver > sir the Channel just went dead”
Laver and Matthew looked at each other.
Cmdr Matthew Mister Laver What happen ‘
Ensign Laver > Sir the Signal is gone “
Cmdr Matthew > Ensign Laver try to trace that last signal and have the base security check in to What happen ‘
Cmdr Matthew > +Taps+ "Cmdr Matthew to sickbay ?"

Cmdr Matthew > please inform Dr, T’Val am on my way down for my general physical Nurse Argil . Yes sir I will tell her sickbay out”
Cmdr Matthew > boy do I hate physical but it has to be done its; better to just get it over Lieutenant Bar you have the bridge .”

Aral watched as the commodore left and the T'val. With a strange twinge he saw the CTSO. Thinking he seemed competant enough, Aral took a seat in the CNO spot. Behind him Matthew stood and left for sickbay, leaving the bridge uncommanded.
Choosing not to take the inititive and take the chair, Aral caressed the console infront of him. A few months prior sitting here would have been a nightmare, now he was doing it as a job.
He inititiated a scan of the system, concentrating on control reponse time (he had found that sluggish controls annoyed him when piloting) and took a manual survey of how the previous officcer had left the place. It had been kept fairly organized, all the databases linked properly, manuals kept in acsessible positions on the console.
While a computer was a computer, some officers chose to organize their system in their own way- causing havoc for others to figure it out. Luckily Alexander Johnson had been more responsible.
Settling in to process the scan results, Aral waited for the command to leave starbase.

The dock of Starbase Assailant was often as busy as the interior. A variety of small shuttles and work bees zipped around the assembled ships. Large enough to hold two starships, the base could accomadate at least another 10 on external docking ports. Berthed alongside the Jefferson was the Victory- C nearly returned from an encounter with the Cardassians. Dashing from that ship to the other were a pair of grazerites. They weaved their way through the crowds to the airlock. They were stopped by security and then admited. Whilst the male was given the small bundle, which turned out to be a six month infant, the female departed. The turbolift doors hissed open revealing a slender Grazerite woman to the bridge crew. The woman was dressed in a blue Sci/Medical uniform, her nostrils flapped and vibrated in the rhythmn of her breaths. "Commander Jalli-tol reporting for..." she paused looking at the empty centre seats. "Why is it that the senior staff are never around when I arrive, I almost consider it a conspiracy." Aral turned round from his console, "Sorry the Captains and FO are down below. Can I be of help." Jalli-tol eyed Aral up and down before rasping, "I very much doubt it. If either senior officers turn up kindly inform them their requested Science Specialist has arrived and is awaiting breifing in the main science lab." "Oh yeah sure," Aral replied, disarmed by her brusque nature. Jalli-tol span on the spot and left the bridge.

Raiben looked around at the bridge, seeing no one filling the center seat spot he walked towards it as their new Science Chief exited for her said science lab.
He took a look towards their CNO. The inteligence officers never considered themselves a part of the crew; well they must have to or they will end up with a lot of things getting on their way when they have to do their jobs.
Raibens comm badge chirped as he sat down.
=/\=Winters here=/\= =/\=Sir, no one is sure who has done it other than those injured men=/\= =/\=Are you sure?=/\= =/\=Yes, sir. I have questioned everyone around the holodeck personally=/\= =/\=Very well then. Take those men to the brig after medical finishes with them=/\= =/\=Right away sir=/\=
Raiben was glad that there are things that must be done. Then in an instant everything happened.
The whole room turned to the engineering of the Listening post that they have came from. And suddenly Commodore Loskene appeared right in front of him. "You have made a terrible mistake!"Raiben heard. He was yelling towards the Commodore. The whole engineering section trembled and a deep and powerfull echo followed his voice.
He can see his eyes glowing stopped and flames exited them. He lifted one of his arms and then a console from across the room flew towards the man.
Loskene dodged the console and it hit the wall behind Raiben.
"I hate to do this"Loskene said in a low voice and landed a heavy blow to Raiben. Then a huge blast shooted him across the room.
"Sir, are you ok?" with the sound of a young crewmate he was back from this terrible nightmare.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine" he replied and gived of a sigh, returning to what he was doing; waiting for the Commodore.

After nearly three hours of debating with Starfleet, Loskene was slightly fatigued. After going over the evidence many times, Starfleet was still having trouble accepting the facts. The meeting was finally concluded...for the time being. Before proceeding any further, the top brass of Starfleet ordered the Commodore to undergo several medical tests to determine, among other things, if there was any kind of temporal residue or some kind of strange energy signature lingering on Loskene. They also wished to check brain waves and various psychological tests to determine if Loskene did indeed encounter something out of the ordinary.
"Oh, how I hate doctors" Loskene said to himself. They pry and they poke and it is such a cold and sterile place...And plus they don't have the proper technology to get an accurate picture of my brain waves. Oh well, better to get it over with now. If it will satisfy Starfleet Command and if it will ultimately save the very fabric of the universe, then I suppose it's worth it"
Loskene returned to the Jefferson several minutes later and bumped into Commander Gibson.
Gibson: Sir! There you are! I just wanted to let you know that someone is looking for you, someone named Jalli-Tol. She just arrived and-
Loskene: A Grazerite. Well, I know better then to keep people like them waiting, but unfortunately it can't be helped. I'm needed in sickbay right now, so everything will have to wait. However, I will look over your report, Mr. Gibson.
Gibson: Yes sir, I'll let Jalli-Tol know. And Mr. Winters is also waiting for you sir.
Loskene: Perhaps you or Mr. Matthews can get his report. I won't have time to get to everyone today.
Gibson: Aye sir.
Loskene continued on his way to sickbay. When he entered, he heard some noises coming from inside. T'Val was inside, with that strange animal on her shoulder. T'Val turned around and saw Loskene waiting there.

"Ah there you are," T'Val said, just as security entered to take the seven men that had been injured on the holodeck away for questioning. She sighed as she directed Loskene to the nearest biobed. "Do may want to have a word with them, after your physical," she told Loskene, "judging from their records they come in often with injuries sustained on the holodeck. A little investigation turned up that they often play scenario's without the proper safety protocols online. You may want to restrict their access to a holodeck for a while, and I have refused to use any modern technology to set their broken bones; they will have to live with the discomfort for as long as the bones take to heal."
She turned on the diagnostic board at the foot of the biobed and closed the diagnostic semicircle over Loskene. "Any complaints about your health lately?" she enquired, after which he informed her of Starfleet's want for a brainwave scan and further testing.
"I believe that it is very possible that you have met a future version of yourself," she said, "I have heard of another crew that have met older versions of themselves when they came back in time to avert disaster, and prevent from half a crew getting killed." She picked up a scanner. "But then, Starfleet wishes proof, so I suppose that is what we shall get them." She finished her examinations, then led him to a tube-like device. "We will get them a CAT and MRI scan," she said, "that should be sufficient. Of course, Starfleet readily accepts the results of a mind meld as well, but I do not find the risks involved acceptable, neither for you nor for myself."
She helped him onto the sliding bed and told him to remain absolutel still while the bed slid into the tube and began its scans. "I will have the results ready for you in an hour," she said, as she helped the commodore up. "But your physical exams tell me that you are in good health, though a little more sleep would not hurt you. Do you sleep well lately, or is your sleep troubled by bad dreams?"

Loskene sat up slowly and smiled.
Loskene: I don't dream. Nor do I require much sleep. At most, perhaps I sleep for three or four hours every other day. Infact, If I was in my native realm, fluidic space, I wouldn't have to sleep at all. However, since this is not fluidic space, my body does not metabolize at it's usual rate, so rest is required every so often.
T'Val began to enter the info into the padd.
Loskene: I'll have a word with the senior staff about the holodeck issue. The best idea would be to send a note to everyone's computer. Well, I have a busy night ahead. Please forward the results of the tests to me as soon as you can.
Loskene walked out of sickbay, feeling relieved. "One thing down..." he thought.
He continued down the corridor and saw Raiben Winters.
Loskene: Ensign, do you have the report for me?
Raiben nodded and began to hand the padd to Loskene. He looked a bit strange.
Loskene: Something the matter ensign?
<Winters>
Loskene continued down the hall and bumped into an odd looking woman. The woman grunted in an surly way.
"Sigh...The Grazerite..." Loskene said to himself
<Jalli-Tol>

"Intriguing" Jalli-tol exclaimed as she met Loskene. She slow walked around him, "Fascinating, I had always heard 8472 masking was good, but this is fascinating." "Hmm" Loskene grunted unimpressed, "Welcome aboard Commander Tol" Jalli-tol's glance leapt up. "The correct nomenclature is Jalli-tol, Tol is merely a herd name, it is a much apart of my name as kene is in yours." "I see" "See that you do." Loskene looked at the grazerite in bewilderment how had this woman ever reached command rank being so... so rude. "By the way, your labs, whilst severly out of date will be adequate. I understand the matter at hand is of a temporal nature but other than that I have not been briefed. Perhaps I can be filled in at the next available point. For now I m off tomeet with my bondmate and calf. Good day." And like a whirlwind Jalli-tol was gone leaving Loskene alone oncemore.

The Vulcan healer frowned after the retreating commanding officer. She knew better than to argue with a commodore about taking rest, near to every non-human officer claimed he could do without sleep, yet obviously the commodore was troubled by something. She made a mental note to contact the counselor about it, after she had seen to the physicals. So far, only the commodore and the chief engineer had reported for a physical.
"T'Val to Matthews and Winters, report to sickbay for your physicals," she called, "I will have to rule you unfit for duty if you do not partake in the required medical testing prior to this vessel going on a possibly dangerous mission."
In her office, her console beeped in a perculiar way, but this alerted T'Val to the arrival of yet another new crewmember. Yade, who had grown even more since arrival and whose colour had turned even darker green, chirped as she hopped from side to side on the console. T'Val suppressed a smile as she felt the happiness coming from the little green. The firelizard was quite obedient, but followed her around wherever she went. However, Yade wasn't a nuisance, and she didn't get in the way nor did she demand attention when it wasn't appropriate to do so.
Gazing over the message, T'Val frowned yet again; a coulpe of Grazerites had arrived on the ship. Though she had never dealt with the species in person, she knew their reputation, nonetheless they were required to report to sickbay. "T'Val to Harash-kyat and Jalli-tol, please report to sickbay for your compulsary physicals."
Now that she was in her office, she might as well send a message to Counselor Kel, asking her about the commodore's most recent state of mind.
<everyone I suppose?>

=======================================
"You can never run away enough" Raiben sighed. "I think i must go sir"
"Go on ensign" said Loskene.
Raiben walked towards the sick bay and entered in.

Loskene shook his head.
Loskene: Nothing to be sorry for ensign. If you experience any strange dreams or any unusual feelings, I would like you to inform the good doctor.
Raibens sighed in disappointment.
Loskene: Yes, I know... I share a dislike of sickbay as well. Anyway, carry on ensign.
Loskene walked off and heard his communicator chirp.
Loskene: Loskene here.
Matthew: Commander Matthew here sir. Mr. Powers reports that the warp engines are online and ready.
Loskene: Very well, I have just received orders from Starfleet. There will be a senior staff briefing in one hour.
Matthew: Aye sir, I will let everyone know.
Loskene took out his padd and began to read the orders.
At the bottom of the padd, there was a small note:
"Commodore, please excuse the use of the code names. It is necessary that no-one outside the Federation know about this operation"

~~ Commander Matthew office ~~
Magnus Del Leone had been gone several minutes. Matthew was seated at his desk again tapping out a few notes and ideas, all regarding Del Leone's visit. After finishing it up, he sent his notes to the department heads whom it would affect. A moment later the enunciator sounded again. "Busy day," he muttered to himself. "Come," he called out.
The same Ensign that had escorted Magnus to his office stepped inside. "Sir, I have Marine LT’ Stanching here for his appointment with you."
James nodded. "Show the Lieutenant in, Ensign," he replied, rising to his feet. She nodded her head and stepped back through the door. A moment later, a Marine stepped through in a full dress uniform. " Lieutenant Stanching, I presume?"
he asked, though he recognized Stanching when he had stepped into the office. "Please," he said, indicate one of the chairs in front of his desk. "Have a seat."
.Lieutenant Stanching resisted the urge to salute and instead took off his beret and sat down opposite the Commander. "Thank you, sir" "Have you been briefed as to why I sent for you?" Matthew asked.
.Lieutenant Stanching> "Yes, sir. I have thought about little else since the general informed me of this". Cmdr Matthew nodded. "Very good. And how do you feel about leaving the SFMC and becoming a part of regular Star Ship crew?"
Lieutenant. Stanching shrugged, "I was brought up by Star Fleet, it seems a logical step, even though leaving my Company behind will be very tough." Cmdr Matthew nodded. "
I can understand that. Becoming the Executive Officer of Marine unit on board the Jefferson will be very different from leading Alpha Company. Do you feel you will be able to fulfill all that the new position would require?"
Lieutenant. Stanching looked across to the commander, " I have no doubts about that sir, if I had I would not be here. Being the Executive officer of this Marine Unit will be a great honor." Cmdr Matthew smiled. "That's good to hear.
Lieutenant. Stanching said "I understand" then grins...
Cmdr Matthew nodded. "Great," he said, then proceeded to download some files into an empty PADD. He then handed the PADD to Stanching. "Here is a listing of all Marine personnel on board .. And all Senior Department heads, etc and the shifts they work. You'll be working Alpha shift along with me.
I'll have new quarters assigned to you within the hour. Your new command codes will also be activated by that time," he said, taking a breath. "So, Lieutenant... Do you have any questions for me?"
