Jalli-tol watched the loskenes talk in quiet skepticism, whilst she could clearly see what was happening it was somewhat hard to fully ratify in scientific fact, that and one fact niggled at her. What proof did they have that this Admiral Loskene was actually telling the truth? Perhaps the other Loskene was the one in trouble. The sure way to find out was to go to the planet and verify what the other Loskene had told them. She remained silent not willing to rock the boat whilst she was supposedly stranded in the future, better to bide her time and confide in the Commodore on their safe return. What worried her now then was the approaching cloaked patrol, they had practiced heavily on teh Holodeck and each one had ended in disaster, and it was hardly likely that they would believe the story Admiral Loskene was feeding them now. Perhaps T'Vals contacts wouldbe able to get them out of any tight spot, she was after all married to a Romulan Ambassador, perhaps they could convince the patrol that they were transporting her to meet her husbands relatives or something.

Commander Matthew was left with mixed feelings. His orders where to hold the Jefferson position until he receive new orders from the Admiral that was hard to do he was a Warrior By nature and just sitting around Doing nothing was hard ‘
He knew he had a good team of train Bridge Officers with him but at the same time there was the trepidation's about the possibility they may not make it back alive. However it was not the first time that SF officers were exposed to such dangers As he entered the main Operations, bridge area, Ensign Colt was madly tapping away on his console and the room was a hive of activity.
Ensign Colt spun towards James as he came onto the bridge, "Sir ‘
Cmdr Matthew> Is there anything new to report’ Science officer > No sir we are still running sensors weeps nothing sofar.

"Sensor sweeps?" yelled out Raiben as he heard that first after he materialized. "Stop it right now! We are going with a giant neon sign pointing right towards us. We are yelling out that we are here"
Raiben rushed towards the tactical console and started closing the sensors and their support systems.
"Who give you that order?" he asked towards the Ensign Colt.
"I did" replied Commander Matthews
"Don't get this as an insult sir; but we are trying to stay undetected. The bitter part about this is that you must wait untill the enemy enters your view. If you will search the boogies you will not be hiding and may i remind that Romulans do border patrols under cloak. They may have been detected us, reported to fleet command and requested reinforcements" explained Raiben and continued with his doings.

ooc: joint post with Harash-Kyat...and this isn't a holodeck drill...or any other holodeck event...the romulans are real
The Warbird Donatra slid elegantly under cloak in to the outer reaches of the third system of the day. Duty officer Sub-Commander Tanek sat in the command Chair relishing his chance to be in command whilst the Commander slept.
A few hours before, Commander Rayna had walked sedately to her quarters to catch a few hours of sleep, before they would reach the Neutral zone for their patrol rounds. Now, she yawned unelegantly as she woke up, wondering what exactly had woken her up. Reaching over, she pressed the button of her personal comm system. "Rayna to Tanek, what's our status?"
"Just entering the last system and all is... hold a moment" Tanek replied. A small light flashed on the console on his chair..
"Centurion N'Lok, Are you picking up anything?"
N Lok looked round from the science station. "I m not sure sir, It seems to be some kind of positron wake."
"Positrons, they are often a by product of Federation starships" Rayna commented, "I ll be right up"
She dressed herself quicky and pulled a brush through her long ravenblack hair. It annoyed her that her rest had been disturbed, even though she woke up all by herself. A few minutes later she entered the bridge. "Have you found the tresspassers yet?" she demanded, while she adjusted her uniform on her lean figure.
"Were not sure they are trespassers yet" N lok commented.
"We are still looking" Tanek replied more diplomatically, "I have just ordered a tachyon sweep. Their are no ships evident in the system and so whatever left the wake is cloaked. We should have a siloutte in a few moments."
The moments passed in silence before the panel beeped and N'Lok transfered teh image to the forward screen.
Rayna glared at her first officer, knowing full well that he was lying. "If they have a cloaking device, then they are in violation of the treaty," she snapped as she eased herself in her chair, "so find me that ship, and step on it!"
"Its here" Tanek smiled smugly pointing to the screen "As you can see its quite clearly a federation ship."
Rayna returned a smug smile of her own. "Pinpoint it and hail them," she ordered, "prepare to drop cloak and charge weapons when you got a lock."
Tanek nodded and saw to the weapon's lock himself, not trusting the junior officer with the controls. "Target spotted and weapon's locked. They're all yours now."
Rayna grimaced. "Get me that ship," she ordered, after they had dropped their cloak. "Federation vessel, you are in violation of the treaty...you have a cloaking device aboard which is unauthorised for your ship by the Romulan Empire. Futhermore, you are tresspassing into our territory. Identify yourself or we will fire, do not be mistaken we know exactly where you are!"

"See that?" yelled out Raiben as the Romulans sound echoed at the bridge.
"We from now on cannot go after the peacefull solutions. We must drop cloak and go to red alert. These Romulans are once Vulcans and they just can't tell lies. They will just alter the reality and tell a portion of the truth. They have detected us and locked their weapons at us. With just the first pass we will be dead"
With saying that Raiben didn't waited for the Commander to reply and droped the cloak and took the ship to red alert.
"It may look like an offensive act Commander but believe me with the talk you ae going to give me enough time to take care of that Warbird. We can eat it for breakfast. And we will give our sorries to the Commodore after we have dealt with those Romulans" he said and waited for the Commander to give his try on the Romulans with words...

Loskene was just about to step through back to his Jefferson when he heard a beeping from one of the science lab consoles.
Commodore Loskene: What is that?
Admiral Loskene ran over to the console and quickly tapped a few panels.
Admiral Loskene: It's your ship. Apparently it-..
Loskene: What?....What?!
Admiral Loskene: It seems to have been detected by a Romulan ship. So far no action has been taken but the Jefferson has decloaked...?
Loskene: Who the hell would deactivate the cloak? Whoever did that is going to get a good talking to.
Admiral Loskene: That is, if you do get to talk to them again.
Loskene: We must go now.
Admiral Loskene: It's too dangerous!
Loskene: Too bad! My ship needs me!
Admiral Loskene: How foolishly arrogant.
Loskene: Maybe so, but I won't cower in this room. I'm going back, whether you come or not. Come on, Jalli-Tol, let's get out of here.
Admiral Loskene: Sigh...You will learn the hard way, just as I have, Commodore.
Admiral Loskene, the Commodore and Jalli-Tol stepped into the portal and ended up in the turbolift.
Admiral Loskene: Take me to engineering. I'll assist Mr. Powers in any way I can.
Loskene: Very well. Jalli-Tol and I will be on the bridge.
A few minutes later, Loskene and Jalli-Tol entered the bridge, the red alert klaxons blazing and on the viewscreen was a Romulan Warbird. Everyone on the bridge turned around to face the Commodore....
Loskene: What's going on Number one??

~~~~USS Jefferson Bridge~~~~
Raiben looked at the readings their CEO sended him.
"We were unable to mask ourselves as we have figured. We were giving off our position by just being cloaked. Engines were running on more power than it has to be, so they have easily detected us" reported Raiben to the Commander Matthews.
Raiben was now acting on instinct. His training and thoughts are concentrated on keeping the ship intact and undamaged.
"Romulans locked weapons on engineering hull!" he reported as his console beeped.
Then Commodore Loskene entered the bridge.
Raiben was sure that he is going to be explaining things that he has done to the Commodore; but first he must make sure the ship survive this event.
"Sir, we must reply the Romulans hail or we are going to be talking with the weapons!" he said towards Loskene and Matthews...
"Fire a warning shot across their bow," Rayna snapped, as she glared at the main viewscreen aboard her warbird. "And hail them again....they'll know who they're dealing with before we shall destroy that ship. It's no match for us, is it?"
Tanek shook his head in denial, even though he didn't like the idea of destroying a Federation vessel. His hands flew over his console. "Hailing frequencies open," he announced.
"Federation vessel," Rayna said icily, "you are tresspassing into Romulan territory. Lower your shields and prepare to be boarded." She watched Tenak, who sat with his hand poised above the fire button. When enough time had passed, Rayna nodded and he pressed the button. A disruptor volley passed across the Jefferson's bow, close enough to rock the ship but not close enough to cause damage. "Next shot will disable your engines and life support," she announced.
Loskene and the rest of the crew felt the disruptor burst fly by the Jefferson. It was clear that the Romulans would not tolerate their presence.
Matthew: Sir, I suggest we do something soon. At least let us stall them.
Winters: Shall I fire back sir?
Loskene: Negative, everyone just calm down.
Rayna: Federation vessel, if you do not establish a visual link within the next 20 seconds the next shot will not be so pleasant.
Aral Gibson: Commodore, they are coming about, readying for another pass.
Loskene: Take no action Mr. Gibson.
T'Val: Commodore, for the safety of the entire crew-
Loskene: Alright, everyone, off the bridge now.
Matthew: Sir?
Loskene: Everyone, into the turbolift.
Winters: Sir, I can't just leave my post unattended...
T'Val: Perhaps you could give us some kind of an explanation of why you're doing this?
Loskene: There is no time. Everyone off now, ASAP. Come on, move! Do I have to transport everyone off?
The bridge officers silently hussled into the turbolift and the doors shut. Loskene immediately rolled up his sleave, revealing his small genetic resequencer on his arm. He tapped a few buttons on it and his body began to change shape. He ran his fingers over his skull, feeling a bumpy crest and proceeded to touch his ears...They were pointy. He could now pass as a handsome Romulan gentleman.
Loskene walked over to a console and activated the communication system. He activated the viewscreen.
Loskene: This is Sub-Commander Vrul. Yes, what is it you want?
Rayna: What? Who are you and what are you doing in on a Federation vessel??
Loskene: As I just said, I am Sub-Commander Vrul, and I have a group of Federation officers who wish to defect.
Rayna: I am reading over 500 crewmembers aboard your vessel. It is impossible that they all wish to defect!
Loskene: Not all of them do. The defectors launched a surprise attack on this vessel, the loyal Starfleet officers were caught off guard. Some were killed, many are being held in custody.
Rayna: You are lying! You are probably just some human who's been surgically altered to appear like a Romulan!
Loskene: You may go ahead and scan me. I think you'll find that my blood is as green as yours.
Rayna signaled to her science officer to scan Loskene.
Science Officer: He appears to be Romulan.
Rayna scoffed in disbelief.
Loskene: I am bringing them to Cirrus Procae.
Rayna: Not on my watch! That is a restricted area!
Loskene began to feel a little paranoid, because he knew the next lie he would tell would be a leap of faith. Loskene wondered if his former CO, Arok, had ever had to take such a risk...
Loskene: It is not my desicion. The Tal Shiar decides that, my dear.
Rayna: The Tal Shiar? You work for the Tal Shiar??
Loskene: Will I have to contact the Tal Shiar and inform them that you will not move aside? It would not be pleasant in the least.
Rayna: Grr...
Rayna yelled in Romulan to her navigation officer. Perhaps they were going to move aside...
Rayna: You will come with us to the nearest Romulan base! Once there I will verify whether you are friend or foe. You will engage your impulse engines and-
Loskene: I will move at any speed I please, wench!
Rayna: I beg your pardon....
Loskene: You heard me. I will go with you, but I will be reporting your stubborness to the Tal Shiar.
Rayna: .....There will be no need for such threats. You will follow us to Cirrus Procae, but once we are there, that Federation ship you are on will be pain-stakingly evaluated.
Loskene: As you wish. Now, come on, you have already taken up enough of my time.
Rayna turned the viewscreen off. Loskene let out a deep sigh and headed to the turbolift. The bridge staff were still inside, looking more confused then ever.
Loskene: Everyone, you may come back in.
Matthew: ...Sir?
Loskene had nearly forgotten that he had changed form. He reset the genetic resequencer and returned to human form.
Aral Gibson: They are moving off!
Loskene: Yes, I shall explain the situation to everyone. I think it's prudent that we hold a meeting in the conference lounge right now.
Raiben looked at the shapechanging Romulan in disblief untill it gained the form of the Commodore Loskene.
"I believe its you sir" he said with a questioning look and a ready hand at his holstered phaser.
"We got no time for this Winters. To the lounge now!" ordered Loskene.
Raiben quickly moved towards the tactical consoles, verified that the Romulans are in no way to treat the ship and he moved towards the lounge.
"Wish i know how you get those green blooded villians off our tail, sir" he said passing the Commodore.
"You will" came the reply. Raiben knew that something will come at him. He acted without hessitation and acted againts given orders; but he acted surely. He acted to save the ship and their mission. He was confident that he will face charges and he probably will be punished.
Being punished by just saving the ship will be a good thing at least he thought and took a seat.
Loskene and the other officers entered the lounge and sat down. Ensign Winters looked concerned, and somewhat guilty. Loskene knew without reading his mind that he had done something. But, no time to deal with that right now, the immediate concern is the mission. Admiral Loskene was sitting at the end of the table. Commodore Loskene still had some doubts about his counterpart. Perhaps he was just uncomfortable looking at his future self...
Loskene: I assume that you have all met my counterpart?
Everyone nodded and a few of them couldn't help but glance over at the admiral from time to time.
Loskene: I understand how strange this must be for you all. It is also strange for me. But this needn't concern us for now. What concerns us is that Warbird beside us.
Admiral Loskene: Yes, a very troubling situation. Very foolish of you, Raiben. I know you are prone to delve into your instincts, but this isn't the time.
Commodore Loskene looked over at the admiral, and cleared his throat as if to interrupt him.
Loskene: Excuse me, Admiral. Now, as I was saying, we need to do something about that warbird. While it is breathing down our necks, we can't do anything. You all know that they will be following us directly to the Cirrus Procae system.
Admiral Loskene: Still sounds like a crazy idea to me.
Loskene: I beg your pardon.
Admiral Loskene: Commodore, our chances of success of this mission dwindles with each move you make. The candle that burns twice as fast lasts half as long, and we are almost in the dark. I can help you Commodore, all you need to do is ask.
Loskene: Admiral, I would like to see you outside. Now.
Loskene stood up, and the admiral did the same and they walked out.
Loskene: Listen, and listen well. I don't like you pestering my crew. You may know these people, but you have no business criticizing them. Also, I do not like you questioning and criticizing my decisions. And least of all, I don't like you belittling me. Telling me to ask you for help, it's childish.
Admiral: Begging your pardon Commodore, I didn't mean anything by it. As you said to yourself earlier, we don't have time to worry about such small problems. Commodore, I have an idea on what we can do about that warbird. We will need Mr. Power's assistance.
Loskene: Alright....But I will not tolerate any further side comments.
Mr Powers followed the Admiral. He had no idea what to expect. The pass few days had been crazy enough for them. He was so hungry. He wanted to eat, but decided to hold of his hunger untill the mission was over.
Mr Powers listen as Admiral Loskene started to explain what was needed.
Rayna was annoyed, not only because apparently a Romulan was in command of the Federation vessel, but also because she felt like a fool. This wasn't her first mission, yet she tried to talk down on a superior officer. Sitting in her chair, her chin leaning on one hand, she peered at the main screen for a long moment, tapping her fingers of the other hand on her armrest impatiently.
They were on course to Cirrus Procae, as the commander had predicted he was, yet there was something fishy about the situation and she could not quite put her finger on it. Suddenly, she jerked up straight, and slammed her right fist into her left hand, startling her crew. "that's it!" she suddenly cried, "tactical, aim disruptors and fire on my command. I know what's wrong with that picture....where the hell was his crew! He was alone on the bridge....ops if you can get a lock...beam this so-called commander out"
From all around her, she got acknowledgements. "Fire," she snapped, and the minute their disruptor beam raked across the hull of the Jefferson's saucer section, the operations officer;s hands flew over her console. Rayna got up and aimed her disruptor carefully, and nodded. A minute later, a humanoid male appeared in front of her. She stepped forward and snatched his combadge, smashing it against the deck. "What've you got to say now," Rayna demanded, pressing the barrel of the disruptor against his chest, "you came here under false pretenses....that is an act of war. I can kill you for this, but I shall not. I have no doubt my superiors will be mighty glad to inerrogate a Federation spy!"
OOC: Thanks for posting Max, glad to have you back. ON: Within a matter of seconds, Loskene was suddenly on the bridge of the Romulan vessel, with a disruptor pointed at him. Rayna: So...."V'Rul", which I doubt is your real name, what have you got to say now? Loskene: ......Took you long enough. Rayna whacked Loskene across the face with the disruptor. He began to bleed at the corner of his mouth. Rayna: Seize him. A few Romulan thugs came from behind Rayna and held Loskene while another put restraints on him. Rayna: Take him down to the brig. I will be along shortly to escort our "guest" to the interrogation room. I must first deal with the Federation ship. Romulan officer: The Federation starship is taking defensive action. Their shields came down with our first hit, but their ablative armor is holding. They are now arming weapons. Rayna: Inform them that if they open fire, their Captain will be killed at once. Romulan: Transmitting. They are disarming weapons sir. Rayna: Very good. Lock weapons on their engineering section, just in case they have an itchy trigger finger. Place a tractor beam on them. Back on the Jefferson: Admiral Loskene entered the bridge. Admiral Loskene: Commodore Loskene has been taken on board the Romulan vessel. Winters: It is a bit obvious! Admiral Loskene: Commander Matthew, I will be heading to the Romulan ship. I must rescue the Commodore. Matthew: Excuse me, Admiral. I cannot permit that. Adm Loskene: And why not? You must permit me! Number one- Matthew: I am not your number one. Nor is this your ship. You will remain here. Adm. Loskene: It is important that Loskene not be harmed! It will obviously have repercussions in the future! <tag everyone! >
Rayna watched with a satisfactory sneer on her face as her ship caught the Jefferson in a tractorbeam, and held her there. "Make sure they don't try anything," she told the first officer, "I will be interrogating our prisoner."
She flicked her long hair over her shoulders and marched down to the holding area, where her guards had tied Loskene securely to a chair. She smiled wickedly as he glared at her. "Oh how you wish you hadn't violated our space when we're through with you," she sneered, as she wiped her Honor Blade clean on his uniform, then backhanded him with the butt of the blade.
He grunted, and she smiled in satisfaction. "Now tell me, what is the real reason why you are here?"
<loskene>
Rayna glared at him. "You'll wish you had told us instantly what we wish to know," she snapped at him, as she grabbed the front of his tunic and pulled him forwards. The ropes were cutting painfully into his skin as she did so. Leaning over him she brought her face close to his. ~he's actually quite hansome....to bad....~ she thought.
She placed her blade against his cheek, the sharp edge just slightly cutting the skin. "What are you doing in our space," she repeated, caressing his cheek with the blade, carefully but purposefully.
<loskene>
Rayna had no doubt that if he could he would kill her right there and then. Unfortunately for him, he wasn't in any position to do so. She continued for a long while but after several hours of torture, he still hadn't said anything. It was time to change tactics, but she'd have to let him rest otherwise there was no fun.
A weakened prisoner never was fun. "He may have water, but not too much," she told the guard, "you are to leave him as he is, call me when you think he had regained some of his strength." With that, Rayna returned to the privacy of her own quarters.
Commodore Loskene lay in a darkened room, feeling achy but still fairly strong. If he was a normal human, he'd probably be in worse pain. Loskene noticed something though, the wound on his lip still hadn't healed yet. He was growing concerned and tried to find out why he wasn't healing like he should. He noticed something out of the corner of his eye, a blinking light...It was something on the side of his head, just about his ear. It was some kind of small device. Loskene knew nearly immediately what it was. It was something that was dampening his mind. He was unable to heal at the normal rate, and he could no longer sense anything.
It was a disturbing, distressing feeling, not being able to hear or see others thoughts. He felt alone and he felt something he had not felt since he was on the verge of death 2 years ago: fear.
Hours later, Rayna stood observing her prisoner with interest. Previous methods had proven that the starfleet officer was a telepath, and she wondered just how she could use that against him. She swung a little red rod idly around as she watched him, and knew he was conscious. However, the neural dampening field prevented him from sensing her presence.
In a spur of pity, she entered the cell and pulled the chair he was sitting on back onto it's four legs, knowing that the moment he annoyed her, she'd knock it over again just as easily. Yet, this person interested her, he was no ordinary human; his blood wasn't read and it looked more like ichor than blood in consistency. "What are you," she spoke up, pleased to see that she'd startled him. She tapped the rod onto her hand, and winced ever so slightly, for the touch of the instrument was just as painful to her, as it was to her prisoner. Only to her, it was a pain of pleasure, knowledge that she could use this instrument to torture others.
She jammed it against his shoulder, repeating her question. Rayna saw him flinch, and revelled at the fear in his eyes. However, the man seemed to compose himself rather quickly, and just glared back at her. She smiled sweetly as she danced around him, jabbing the rod at him again. This time, she drew ichor, knowing that the longer the contact to skin with the rod, the worse the injury would be. Depending on it's usage, it could cause a mere stabbing pain, to actual death.
~but we don't want him to die~ she smiled ~no...he might actually be useful~ "You will wish you talked to me, before this is over," she said gently, "and please do give up any hopes of escape or rescue, for there is none. Your comrades will not be able to locate you, we've made quite sure of that."
<loskene?> (if I go too far, do please let me know would you losk?!)
Jalli-tol watched with mild annoyance at the posturing going on, "Can I remind everyone that theComodore is aboard that Warbird, that we are out gunned, deep in romulan space. Perhaps we should be formulating a plan." "I have a plan" Admiral Loskene noted "Its not your place to act" Matthews replied coolly "An plans will be cleared by myself and the rest of this ships senior staff. And we will not discuss it on the bridge like this. Breifing room. NOW" The senior officers trailed off in to the room just off the bridge. "Okay lets have these ideas" They all sat quietly a moment "Well?" Matthews asked looking at Loskene "No. My plan involves only me. I can survive space I alone can rescue him by going out and gaing entry to the romulan ship" "Hang on as CTSO its my responsibility, I m EVA rated we could take an assault team" "A brave plan" Jalli Tol noted "But it wont work. Romulans have a highly ionised hull whilst in flight its instead of a deflector dish. Touch the hull and you ll fry." "Perhaps theres a diplomatic solution" Matthews suggested, "Maybe T Vals status can give us some leverage with the Romulan Commander, what do you think T Val?"
T'Val sat up straight at the medical console on the bridge, not having expected to be addressed by the grumpy Grazerite. "Yes, I believe we may have an option there," she agreed, "however, I do not know what kind of status I hold within the Romulan empire. My husband has never informed me of this, but I would assume that my marriage to a Romulan diplomat would grant me some status or the other. Though I must warn you, my husband is not loved within the Empire for his Pro-Federation ideals. He has friends in high places, but his enemies are even higher up on the ladder."
<shorty I know..will post more when Loskene has posted;)>
Raiben was angry. He must have to be angry.
"There is another way" he said. Everyone turned towards him.
"I alone can save Commodore Loskene from that ship. But the problem is that, i may not return to the Jefferson as i am now. Doctor, you know this. You know my potential. I can do this. Just give me something that will calm my status when it gets too close to insanity. And Commodore will realize that and will take care of the situation. He has done that once and can do that again" Raiben raised his thoughts.
Before anyone can reply he started again.
"Its none of your business to take care of him. It falls into my duty line to protect and keep him alive. Thats what i must and will do. Commander allow me to go. I will take care of everyproblem we have. Just find me a way to get on that ship"
Admiral Loskene stood up quickly in response to Raiben's proposition.
Admiral Loskene: No, absolutely not, Raiben! You do not have this...this...thing under control... If I go, at least there is a chance that I will survive and be able to tolerate the journey to the warbird.
Matthews grew impatient and stepped between the two men, ending the dispute once and for all.
<tag Matthew>
<In reply to your question T'Val, yes your doing fine. Proceed with the interrogation as you see fit>
PS: Sorry for the short post, I am feeling sick today.
Before Commander Matthews could Raiben raised from his seat pointing his index finger towards the Admiral.
"You know this better than that. I know that i have my powers under control under your service didn't I?" he asked.
The mouth of the Admiral was open to give a reply but the voice was missing.
"Yes Admiral you know i have done that, but the thing worrying you that if Commodore dies, you also will. You know that i have survived fights and odds worser than this. Ain't you?" said Raiben with a slightly dropping his voice to a whisper.
"I can read your mind Admiral, i now know how to control my mind. I now know how can I chain the beast inside me" now Raiben was just moving his mouth none heard his words other than the Admiral. "Thanks for the information that you have brought me Admiral. I have allways wondered why i was alone on that rock. Now i know who am I and why I am lonely. Thanks" the telepathic communication ended.
Raiben say down and crossed his arms, closed his eyes and started to hum a song that no one ever heard of.
"I have not planed this to happen for aeons my puppet. But now as the seed of destruction grew to the point where it can, its time to unleash it. You know why you where created, now became the purpose" whispered Benjamin to Raiben.
"Cry havoc, you have been created for this. The Angeloths placed the seed within you, so that you can save them from their doom"
Raiben opened his eyes and stared around the senior officers with his blazing red eyes.
Rayna gazed down at her prisoner in sheer disdain; the neural dampener was inhibiting his telepathic abilities but it was also hampering other physical attributes. He had been unconscious for several hours now, but she was fairly pleased with the result of the torturing session earlier. He was bleeding from several cuts, he had been wincing and grimacing, but so far he hadn't uttered a scream.
This would change now, as she had been very mild so far. She watched silently, as her prisoner started to move, and grimace as he found out his rather uncomfortable postion. Rayna had bound his wrists, attaced a rope to it and latched it, after throwing it over a high beam, behind him to a hook in the wall. He was now sort of hanging in his bonds, standing on his toes.
For some odd reason, she felt sorry for him and she walked up to him. "Tell me who and what you are, and what you are doing here," she told him, "and I promise it will be over soon." She gently trailed a finger past his cheek, then moved to kiss him. "Tell me what I need to know, and instead of torture you will find me very grateful," she whispered.
In answer, he spat at her, his eyes blazing with anger. Surprised, Rayna wondered where he'd found the strength, as he'd had nothing to eat, and the dampener was inhibiting his healing process. She wiped the spittle from her face and picked up her red rod, smoothening the fabric of her outfit. "You do realise that you will be broken sooner or later, don't you?" she asked, as she jabbed the rod hard against his ribcage. Involuntarily, she gringed as she heard the snapping of bone.
His continued silence enraged her, and she continued to jab at him. She only stopped when he finally uttered his first scream. She relished at it, savouring the piercing sound that went through bone and marrow. "Now that wasn't so hard, was it?" she asked sweetly, then her eyes narrowed as she peered at him. "Now, tell me what I need to know! Your hopes of rescue are futile, your feeble crew will not come for you. Your ship is no match for mine, and you know that too!"
<you take it from here for a bit Loskene;) do tell me if it was too much. The red rod is called an Agiel...an item which I've taken from the Morrd Sith from Terry Goodkind's books>
