The arrival of Tedak caused a stand a small stand off, but RA Loskene quickly took care of that.
"You are absolutely right Ambassador, I will not let it happen again," Loskene said motioning for Commander Matthews to continue with the briefing.
Cmdr Reynolds I need for you to prepare the ship for possible combat situation just in case the Romulans decide to let them self be known as I said before we still don’t know just how many warbirds there all we could easily find our self out numbered and out gunned.
Well Matt knew what his department was going to be doing for the next hours. As Commander Matthews continued on his briefing, Matt noticed that his orders were preparing the Jefferson for the worst case scenario. It was subtle, but even he knew that there was a highly good chance that the Jefferson would be caught in a huge battle.
Gentlemen I leave you to your assignment when you are ready give the green light to Cmdr Reynolds and you can report to me I will keep the Admiral up to speed on your progress and Cmdr Reynolds I’ll leave it up to you to bring our Chief medical officer up to speed”
"Speak of the devil," Cmdr Matthews said as Rayna and gorgeous women entered the bridge. Matt couldn’t help but blush as he locked eyes with the young ensign.
"Excuse me, admiral," Rayna interrupted, "but we seem to have a stowaway." Yet when she said it she grinned. "Doctor Eviston had arrived just prior to departure and has not yet had a chance to get introduced. Doctor Eviston, this is the Admiral I just told you about."
“Welcome aboard AE Eviston, welcome to our ship,” RA Loskene said,” this is our senior staff, Cmdr Matthews, Cmdr Reynolds……… After the introductions everything stalled for a bit until Cmdr Matthews took over again.
“Okay everyone you have your orders and Doctor Eviston, Cmdr Reynolds will be showing you around and getting you acquainted with the ship.
<Tag Billi>
Matt motioned for the newest member of their crew to follow him into the turbolift and start this tour.
“I suppose you would like to go to your quarters first?” Matt asked.

Billi stifled a laugh when Rayna interrupted the senior staff on the bridge.
"Excuse me, Admiral, but we seem to have a stowaway."
"Doctor Eviston had arrived just prior to departure and has not yet had a chance to get introduced. Doctor Eviston, this is the Admiral I just told you about."
Billi nodded to the Admiral and the others gathered there.
“Welcome aboard AE Eviston, welcome to our ship,” RA Loskene said, ” this is our senior staff, Cmdr. Matthews, Cmdr. Reynolds……….” He went around and introduced her to the remainder of the staff.
He finished introductions with … “Okay everyone you have your orders and Doctor Eviston, Cmdr Reynolds will be showing you around and getting you acquainted with the ship.”
“Thank you Sir.” she nodded and glanced at the others, putting faces to the names so she would not forget.
Cmdr. Reynolds motioned for her to follow him to the turbolift and she hurried to join him.
“I suppose you would like to go to your quarters first?” Matt asked.
As the doors to the turbolift closed she nodded. “That would be a welcome sight Sir. I came on board and was put right to work so my duffel is still in sickbay. But yes, I would like to see my quarters.”
She leaned against the wall of the turbolift as it descended.

“That would be a welcome sight Sir. I came on board and was put right to work so my duffel is still in sickbay. But yes, I would like to see my quarters.”
"Okay then we'll go sickbay first," Matt said," Computer sickbay." Sickbay was a couple of decks down so Matt tried to be polite and start some conversation, but it somehow seemed a lot harder. He never had this problem before, well he had this problem once and it was with a girl that he liked.
"So where are you from?" Matt asked thinking of the easiest and most normal thing.
<Tag Bilii>
------------------- Scene: Sickbay, Deck 8, USS Jefferson
It seemed as they really didn't have much time to talk in the turoblift since immediately after the young doctor finished telling Matt about where she had come from the turbolift opened.
"Well of course you know where we are?" Matt said as he walked into sickbay.
"Hello Rayna, couldn't believe you didn't even say hello," Matt said teasing the usually stoic romulan.
"I said to you hello earlier today, so that will sufice," Rayna said taking the high road.
"Are you ready to go find your quarters?" Matt asked as the doctor came out of her office.
<Tag Billi>
"Well then lets go," Matt said heading out of sickbay and towards the turblolift.
"Deck 5"

The room that Matt was going to assign to the doctor had been empty for some time and so he secretly had some of his team clean it out, before he brought the doctor to her new home.
As Matt punched in the security clearance he once again looked at the doctor. She is more layed back that most young officer's Matt said to himself, well more laid back than he was when he came to the Jefferson.
"Doctor Eviston welcome to your new quarters," Matt said letting her in.

-- Turbolift --
"So where are you from?" Matt asked thinking of the easiest and most normal thing.
Billi glanced at the Commander as he spoke. "I was born, raised and spent most of my life on board the USS Michigan Sir.”
The silence grew in the turbolift as the doors opened and they moved towards sickbay.
------------------- -- Sickbay, Deck 8 --
Billi excused herself while Rayna and the Commander chatted, returning a few minutes later with her duffel.
"Are you ready to go find your quarters?" Matt asked as the doctor came out of her office.
“Yes Sir, thank you Sir.” She said as she turned towards Rayna. "Keep an eye on things for me, I’ll be back soon.”
A minute or two later the Commander and Billi left sickbay.
"Well then lets go," Matt said heading out of sickbay and towards the turblolift. "Deck 5"
---------------------- -- Senior Officer Quartes, Deck 5 --
Several minutes later Commander Reynolds stopped before a door and using his passkey opened it.
"Doctor Eviston welcome to your new quarters," Matt said letting her in.
Billi stepped into her quarters and looked around. Considering she was used to having to share quarters with up to three others and suddenly finding herself in Officers Quarters the place was huge.
"Thank you, Commander.” she said as she placed the duffel on the couch and continued to gaze around main room of her quarters.

Matt couldn't help but laugh as he saw the young doctor inspect her new living quarters. Just like him she was born on a Federation starship and they had never had there own room before. Matt had to share his room with his two brothers and of course he was always picked on since he was the youngest.
"Well Doctor the quarters are bigger than the usual crewmember quarters, but they are pratically the same," Matt said pointing to all the fixtures in the room.
"Doctor would you like to keep touring or get back to work?"

-- Billis Personal Quarters --
She listened as Commander Reynolds showed her all that came with her own quarters. She’d had to share a room with her younger half sister when on the Michigan, and then a room with three other cadets when at the Academy so the thought of quarters all her own was almost breathtaking.
“They sure are bigger than anything I am used to Sir.” she commented as she peered into the sleeping chamber before returning to the main room.
"Doctor would you like to keep touring or get back to work?" the Commander asked.
“I think I’d like to continue on the tour, there’s nothing pressing in sickbay anyway and I would like to get to know the rest of what will be home to me for a while.” She commented as she took one last look around. “I’ll let you lead, you know where you are going.”
He handed her the passkey and they exited her quarters to continue the tour.

"Well Miss Eviston all the decks above us are officer, crew, and VIP quarters" Matt began," on Deck 4 there a couple of holosuites and the gym is on this deck.
This is what Matt did for the next couple of minutes. He stopped on every deck and explained what was there. The doctor didn't seem to be paying much attention until they reached Deck 9 and Matt told her that this was the recreation deck. Her face lit up light a lightbulb.
"Now if you want to have fun just come here," Matt said as he took an extended tour of Deck 9. "We have everything state of the art of course and to be honest I think the best bar out there."
Matt liked going to the bar, but since there last mission he hadn't visited the place.
"Commander Reynolds would you like a drink?" the bartender asked.
"No, I can't I'm on duty," Matt said," just giving our newest member the grand tour."
"Well hello miss," the bartender said trying to be polite.

"Doctor to be honest below this deck there really isn't anything interesting, but if you want I can continue the tour," Matt said.

-- Aft Lounge, Deck 9 --
Billi paid attention as the Commander gave her the tour of the upper decks. There were a few places she’d have to visit when she was off duty, whenever that would be. Unfortunately it didn’t look like anytime soon.
As they entered the lounge on deck 9 the bartender asked the Commander if he wanted a drink and greeted her.
"Well hello miss," said the bartender.
“Hello Sir.” Billi said as she gazed around the room. It was not the first lounge she'd seen and it wasn’t not all that different than the one on the Michigan.
As they turned to leave Commander Reynolds asked if she wanted to continue the tour.
"Doctor to be honest below this deck there really isn't anything interesting, but if you want I can continue the tour,"
“That’s ok Commander, I have seen enough to keep me busy for some time.” She nodded to the bartender as they stepped from the lounge. “What would you suggest we do now? I probably should let you get back to the bridge.”
There wasn’t much for her to do in sickbay but she couldn’t see making the Commander take time out of his busy schedule just for her. She was due to get off shift in the next couple hours anyway and checking out the rest of the ship could wait till then.

Matt had gotten a bit sidetracked with there newest crewmember, but no one said anything when he got back to the bridge.
"She's cute ain't she," Monica whispered as Matt sat down.
"Who are you talking about?" Matt said trying to get to work.
"A certain new doctor," Monica said with a slight smirk.
"I suppose," Matt said as he pictured the young women again. She was a very attractive woman, but right now he had to think about the mission at hand. Luckily for him Monica had done a great job in his absence. Currently the ship was running multiple scenarios, best and the worst. Yet he was a bit concerned that none of the departments had yet sent a preliminary report.

Going to a few of the departments he handed out the sidearms and continued on his way, he checked off names on a list he made, and found that he had missed the new doctor, he had been to sickbay, but the doctor was not there.
"Computer locate AE Eviston"
~Acting Ensign Eviston is currently in sickbay~
"Great, i just got back from there"
He quickly made his way back to sickbay, and walked in. "Hello, Doctor. you in here?"
<tag Billi>

Commander Reynolds walked Billi back to sickbay before returning to the Bridge. They departed just outside sickbay, Billi turning and entering sickbay to find Rayna going over one of the many supply manifests which had been coming in constantly in an effort to get everything stocked and ready for whatever they would face.
Billi nodded to Rayna and smiled. “Keep up the good work. I’ll be in my office if anyone needs me.” she walked into her office, the door swooshing closed behind her. From inside the office she could watch the goings on in the main area of Sickbay.
She sat behind her desk and pulled up the roster for the Jefferson. It was time she got to know those who she would be working with, starting with the Medical Staff.
Laura Trevers (F) Human 23 yrs old Medic Specializes in biogenetics
Michael Paulson (M) Human/Betazoid 25 yrs old Medic Specializes in neural medicine
Her thoughts were inturrupted by a voice coming from outside her office.
"Hello, Doctor. you in here?"
She tapped the keypad on her console, shutting down the moniter and closing the connection to the main computer before standing up and exiting her office.
"Yes, May I help you Lieutenant." She’d briefly met him on the bridge and knew him to be the Chief of Security.
"Oh there you are. Lt. Daya, Chief Security and Tactical, I need you to take this just in case" Dana said, handing her a phaser. "We might be engaged with the Romulans at some point, so they said give everyone a weapon."
She holstered the weapon. "Thank you Sir, let’s hope I won’t have to use it."
He nodded. "So, how do you like the ship so far?"
Billi motioned around her. "So far I like what I see and have no complaints. How long have you been on board Sir?"
Dana shifted his stance as he replied, only to be cut off by a COMM from the bridge.
"I've been here for only a couple of missions myself, I havent really gotten to know any one, but that kinda the way I like it too."
"=/\= Reynolds to all department heads, please send your preliminary reports. =/\=
"Well, I gotta go, see ya.." He said before leaving sickbay.
Billi disappeared into her office, sat down at her desk only to return a short time later with several PADDS in her hand, these containing the individual information for each member of the medical staff and what their daily assignments were for the next few days.
It would take her a day or two to set up a weekly schedule and impliment it so that all the shifts were covered adiquately, without overstressing any one member of the team.
Without any further delay she moved among the staff, handing out the assignments before returning to her office to write up her first official report for the Medical staff and get that sent to the Commander.
(OFF: As CMO, I assume I am head of the Dept so am going to act as if I too have to send in that report. If not please let me know. I also have listed a couple of NPCs in this post but I will be creating a few more for people to play with and will be adding bios for them on Monday.)

OCC: Hey Billi of course you are a Department Head and good job on taking initiative.
Scene: Bridge, Deck 1, USS JEFFERSON
"Lt. Daya reporting for duty, preliminary report in hand"
"Thank you Lt.," Matt said as he took the PADD and started to examine what the CTSO had put down.
~Security teams in place at major security areas ~Phasers handed out to all departments ~Ship secure in case of boarder repelling ~Working on Battle plans, 2 different strategies already programmed, 2 more left.
This was a sound plan, but Matt felt that it wasn't enough for the battle that he was expecting. So Matt doubled every security team and tripled it in sickbay and engineering.
"Lt. Daya can you please make two more strategies working with this scenario?" Matt asked as he sent him his worst case programs.
<Tag Daya>
"Commander, our internal scans show 12 weakened spots in our shields," Monica reported.
"Are these spots close to any major systems?" Matt asked turning to his second.
"Yes four," Monica responded.
"OKay, I want you to work on strengthening our shields in those areas and if you can try to boost our shields to 110%," Matt said. Monica nodded and headed toward shield control.
"Commander Matthews I recommend that we confine all non-essential personal to reinforced parts of the ship," Matt said knowing that they couldn't risk the lives of the children and civilians living on board the Jefferson.
<Tag Matthews>
After recommending this to his First officer, Matt's console chirped to life. Four departments had just sent in there reports, transporters, astrometrics, science, and engineering.
Matt first began with engineering knowing that with the engines it wouldn't matter what preparation the Jefferson went through. After reading Mr. Pudlo's report an idea came to him as to what the CEO could now do.
=^=Reynolds to Pudlo=^=
=^=Pudlo here=^=
=^=Can you please work on making convincing sensor ghost =^= Matt hoped that if the Romulans thought that they were other Federation starships in the vicinity they would think twice about attacking them.
<Tag Jeff>
Matt knew that what he was doing might be overkill, but he knew that it was better for them to over prepared then to be caught unguarded.

Cmdr Matthew > Asking Lt, Sevik what's the possibility of setting up a separate computer access logging subroutine, independent of the regular logging routines and which wouldn't be known about by anyone except those in the know, and also wouldn't show up without a detailed diagnostic?
Cmdr Matthew look at the screen as Lt, Sevik Tap's in the command,s to the computer
“Skills used: Intelligence 3, Logic +2, Perception +1 (as appropriate), Engineering Aptitude +3, Computer (Programming) 2 (3). And / or setting up b) Encrypting the Computer Accesses Log so that it cannot be modified to cover up actions by the Saboteur?
Skills used: Intelligence 3, Logic +2, Perception +1 (as appropriate), Engineering Aptitude +3, Computer (Data Protection)
Also how long would it take to do each task, and how much less time would it take with the appropriate technical assistance? Lt, Sevik appears deep in thought, both eyebrows buried in a frown. Typically there is no hint of emotion, just concentration and thought, as the Vulcan's thought processes work away.
First part. No roll needed. It would be easy to set up such a subroutine, in fact the older program set up by Lieutenant Rhyolite only a few days before after the first Transporter Malfunction is still scanning the billions of authorized accesses during the refit.
To conceal such a subroutine would depend on the saboteur's knowledge of the computer systems... But is indeed possible...
Second part, rolled a 6 for a total of 9. You feel that you could indeed complete such a security system along with Mica’s help so that the saboteur would be unable to alter the records even if they were able to trace the programming, in fact such tampering could even be used to trace the saboteur further should he access this core programming Commander .
Cmdr Matthew > that what I wont get it done lieutenant let me know when it done Matthew walk over to Cmdr Reynolds Sitting at the ops station”
Cmdr Matthew> Well commander Reynolds after spending a few minutes with our new chief medical officer What do you think of her Will she be able to take the pressure of her new position of running A full department or will she crack under the pressure” “After all she Young and un-tested in a combat situation . Billi had a good idea what her staff could do already by the way they worked together as a team to get sickbay in order. Even though there were a few members who outranked her they did not seem to mind since she appeared to know what she was doing.
As she put together the preliminary report she thought about her team and battle if it were to occur. Would they be up to the job? She thought about this as she listed the staff she had on the report and their abilities.
There were three shifts:*
Alpha, Beta and Gamma Shifts
The areas covered by the medical department consisted of:
Biology, Micro-Biology, Exobiology, Veterinary medicine, Cybernetics, Computer analysis (bio-gel packs).
Some areas crossed over into the Science department but both departments worked closely together which made for a close knit team between the two departments.
Those areas were (in addition to the areas above): Archeology, Oceanography, Chemistry, Physics, Astrophysics, Botany, Anthropology and Paleontology.
As Billi thought about this she added it all to the report:
Shifts and Staff: Alpha, Beta and Gamma - each shift 8 hours long, and staffed by one doctor, two nurses, two medics and two med techs. An overlap of some ten minutes before and after each shift allows the shifts to exchange updates during changeover.
She was in and out of sickbay through out the 24 hour rotation as well as working a full shift for Alpha so included that in the report. They were severely understaffed at the moment which meant a lot of extra work for everyone but nobody, currently seemed to have problems with putting that extra foot forward. Billi would like to see each shift rotation staffed by no less than 10 people/per shift. This including the Doctor, a doctor on call, 4 nurses, 2 medics and 2 lab techs with an extra shift which would take up the slack when needed in an emergency situation.
Sickbay layout: -- One large facility, located on Deck 7. -- It’s equipped with six standard and one advanced bio-bed, the Chief Medical Officer's office and a small lab used for routine analysis of patients. -- Also included are: -two intensive-care wards -various medical laboratory -a nursery -three surgical suites -a null-grav therapy ward -a morgue -a biohazard isolation unit -a dental care office -and an Emergency Medical Holograph System. -- Located seperately is the Counselor's Office.
Alpha Shift: Doctor - Dr. Billi Eviston (AE) (CMO) Aide to the CMO - Rayna Doctor - (currently vacant)** Nurse 1 - (NPC)*** Nurse 2 - (NPC) Nurse 3 - (NPC) Nurse 4 - (NPC) Medic 1 - Laura Trevers (Lt.) (F) (NPC) Medic 2 - (NPC) Lab tech 1 - (NPC) Lab tech 2 - (NPC)
Beta Shift: Doctor - Dr. Richard Peterson (Lt.) (M) (NPC) Doctor - (currently vacant) Nurse 1 - (NPC) Nurse 2 - (NPC) Nurse 3 - (currently vacant) Nurse 4 - (currently vacant) Medic 1 - Michael Paulson (Ens.) (M) (NPC) Lab tech 1 - (NPC) Lab tech 2 - (currently vacant)
Gamma Shift: Doctor - Dr. Lindsey D'Amato (Lt.) (F) (NPC) Doctor - (currently vacant) Nurse 1 - (NPC) Nurse 2 - (NPC) Nurse 3 - (currently vacant) Nurse 4 - (currently vacant) Medic 1 - (NPC) Medic 2 - (currently vacant) Lab tech 1 - (NPC) Lab tech 2 - (currently vacant)
There was also a fully staffed standby shift of: 2 doctors, 4 nurses, 2 medics and 2 lab techs.
When she was done compiling the report which included an intensive list of supplies on hand, as well as what additional supplies were needed she sent it off to Commander Reynolds. ----------------- * Alpha Shift - 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (roughly)Beta Shift - 3:30 pm - midnight (roughly)And Gamma Shift - midnight - 7:00 am (roughly)
** I will be shuffling around NPCs, and vacant spots as we gain more crew. I want to try and keep the medical department as filled with PCs and/or NPCs as I can so that there is always someone around to play with, even if I am absent and that way you guys will know who to use.
*** All NPC spots will be posted on my webspace for the ship to use as needed. I will be working on creating this list this week (Dec 26 - 30, 2005).

Now that everyone was bustling with activity again, Tedak felt a little useless. Until they located their missing doctor, or had a tête á tête with the Romulans, there was nothing much he could do but make sure he was kept up to date about the situation.
"If there is anything I can do," he called, when he heard the chief engineer being orderd to create a sensor ghost of some sort. It wasn't something he had vast experience with, but if he could help, at least he had some use until he could get to work himself.

=/\= Reynolds to Eviston =/\=
Billi looked up from the progress report she was in the middle of writing and tapped her combadge.
=/\= Go ahead Commander =/\=
She said placing the PADD aside.
=/\= These supplies that you need, can we just replicate them or do they have to be naturally made? =/\=
She had anticipated this question and had an answer ready so too no time before replying.
=/\= They can be replicated, but in bulk, I would like to set aside one of the cargo bays to replicate the items, if possible. I can replicate them in bulk there, and not have to rely on the personal replicators to do it then. It will take less time and less energy both in man power and in ship resources. =/\=
She knew who she was going to ask to oversee that task, if she was given permission to do it already.
Billi went back to writing the progress report while waiting for the Commanders response, looking up as one of the med techs arrived and placed a couple of PADDs on her desk, mouthing the words shift summaries before leaving, the door swishing closed behind them.

She had expected the question, she's good Matt thought. He was about to respond to the Doctor but was stopped by the ships Senior Marine officer.
"Lt. Hunter reporting for duty, Sir"
"Thank you Lt. you can stay here on the bridge or go work with your marines," Matt said.
<Tag William>
Matt than began reading the PADD that William had just given him.
~Fire teams in place at major security areas. ~All Marines armound with the P90 Mark 7, combat rifle, to the departments of Marines. ~One Fire Team on the Brige.
Matt quickly turned around and behold a Marine fire team was located on the bridge. Matt couldn't believe that he hadn't heard them enter the bridge. Seeing everything was ready, Matt didn't modify these orders.
Matt know had to deal with the doctor. Matt thought for a second and then acted.

=^=I have set aside Cargo bay 3 for you and your medical team, but please replicate as soon as possible.=^= Matt asked this because he couldn't take the chance that half of the medical staff be stuck in Cargo Bay 3 when they reached Stubb's world.

"I'll work on that. might not be too easy...."
"Understood."
Jeff walked over to his stationfrom the railing where he had been leaning. "And I hvae a prelimiary report.
Repair teams area are all in place in critical areas, everything is running at miodified specification 100% efficancy, and we're not about to be a giant rock in space. The redundant circuts for the phasers have been installed, Daya should have no problem firing contious bursts. all torpedo tubes and loading systemas have been visually checked, and new security systems have been installed for hardwirecode acess."
"Isn't that a lot of work for that much time?" loskene asked. "It seems like you've been asking a lot."
"Not at all. Largest department on the ship, and we know what we're doing. a lot of it is also done partally by computer. The Engineering crew is ready for a fight."
"and that sensor ghost?" Mattew asked.
"I'm on it. it shouldn't be too hard to do, but I can't tell you how convincing it will be. I don't know how their sensors work. perhaps I could get some help there?"

"Lt. Daya can you please make two more strategies working with this scenario?" Matt asked as he sent him his worst case programs.
"I think so sir, but i used most of my best tactics on these 4 i have now, i'll do my best, and ask for some help if i need it"
Daya left and went back to his quarters where he sat down and immediatly had the computer run a few simulations, trying to find a couple new tactics to use.
=^= Lt Daya =^=
=^= Daya here, go ahead Lt.=^=
=^= All Marines are full armount, can I help you to secure the ship.=^=
=^= The ship is actually very secure, but i could use some help developing some new tactics, come to my quarters and we can work something out, Daya out =^=
A few minute later Lt, Hunter pressed the door chime and entered. "so far i've got 4 differnt strategies to use, Commander Reynolds want me to make two more, but i cant think of anything, any ideas?"

Billi placed the PADD with the progress report on the right hand corner of her desk and picked up the shift summaries that the med tech had dropped off as the response from the Commander came through.
=/\= have set aside Cargo bay 3 for you and your medical team, but please replicate as soon as possible. =/\= Commander Reynolds responded to her query.
She paused in her reading as she tapped her combadge. =/\= Thank you Sir. It won’t take more than an hour, hour and a half tops. Then they will be back where they belong. =/\=
Billi closed the connection and picked up the shift summaries again, browsing through them as she reached for another unused PADD. The perverbial paper work of a Senior Officer was never done.
She nodded and left her thumb print on the PADDs containing the summaries, placing them next to the other PADDs on the corner of her desk.
With that paper work done she tapped her combadge again.
=/\= Rayna, please come to my office immediately =/\= Closing the link one last tim e she began compiling a list of all the supplies she would need to be replicated.
The list consisted of: Bandages Suture Kits Emergency Med Kits
Granted the ship had many of these things already supplied but there was never enough.
Also on the list were hyposprays with various pain relieving drugs, as well as several other compounds needed in emergency situations.
Once the list was completed she stood and walked to the replicator and got herself a cup of tea. She waited for Rayna on the couch in her office.

OCC: Okay for everyone that has not given me your reports shame on you , so saying that I will chase you down. Also I hope that you enjoyed Christmas, but lets get posting.IC: Scene: Turbolift USS JEFFERSONMatt was still missing three reports: science, helm, and that of the counselor. Counselor's Lobel's report was not as important, but that of Ensign Sorak and Lt. Commander Johnson. At the moment neither of them were at the bridge, so Matt would have to chase them down. They might have just forgotten, but Matt couldn't wait anymore and so here he was in the turbolift heading towards Deck 5. As Matt walked towards Commander Johnson's quarters he remembered the first day he had met the Jefferson's helmsman. He was a quiet man who usually stuck to himself, but Matt hoped that as time went by he would get to know him better. Once Matt arrived at his quarters he pressed the bell and awaited for the Commander to answer. "Commander Reynolds is there something that I may do for you?" Johnson asked a bit surprised that Matt was at his door. "Commander Reynolds, I have noticed that you have not yet given me your preliminary report on you department," Matt said. <Tag Alexander> ----------------- After receiving the report from Commander Johnson, Matt made his way to the quarters of Sarok of Vulcan or Acting Ensign Sarok. Matt barely knew anything except that he had taken his job as CScO. Matt hoped that he would be able to talk to the man, but that had not yet happened. "Ensign Sorak," Matt said as he saw the person he was searching for. "Ensign, I have not received your preliminary report yet," Matt asked. <Tag Sorak> --------------------- Okay now I have everyones reports, Matt said to himself as once again entered the turbolift. He would now report to Commander Matthews and things would be all done on his side of things for now. Yet he felt as not all secondary departments were up to par. He would need to work with them more closely from now on. "Computer how long until we reach Stubb's world?" "26 hours" Only fourteen hours had passed since they left Assailant, but he felt as it had been weeks. "Computer change direction, sickbay." Matt wanted to check on the newest member of their crew. "Affirmative" ------------------- Scene: Sickbay, Deck 7, USS JEFFERSONMatt entered sickbay and saw the young doctor was not there. So Matt made his way towards her office and saw that she was sitting on her couch presumably waiting for someone. "Hello Doctor." <Tag Billi> "I'm just here to check up on you," Matt said knowing how ironic that sounded. "I hope that your staff has been helpful." <Tag Billi> Matt knew that the ensign had been on duty for about ten hours now and it showed. Her shoulders were slouching a bit and her uniform was now winkled with use, just like Matt's must of been. "You know doctor you should take a break?" Matt said hoping that it would help the young woman, but for some reason he thought she would object to it. <Tag Billi>

Billi was relaxing on the couch in her office when Commander Reynolds walked through the main doors and headed for her office.
"Hello Doctor." He said as he entered.
“Hello Commander.” Billi said as she stood up. “Is there something I can do for you?”
"I'm just here to check up on you," He said. "I hope that your staff has been helpful."
“Yes Sir they have been.” She motioned for him to have a seat on the couch she just vacated. “May I get you something to drink?”
He watched her silent as she moved to the replicator to place the cup on the pad and have it recycled back into the system.
"You know doctor you should take a break?"
Billi turned towards the senior officer and clasped her hands behind her back. “I know and I will once things settle down here. How many hours do we have until we arrive?” He was right, she had been going almost non-stop except for a couple short breaks, getting sickbay as prepared as she could.
While they were talking Rayna entered the office.
“You wanted to see me Ma’am?” she asked
Billi smiled slightly “Hold that thought Commander.” she said as she made her way to the desk and retrieved the PADD there with the list of supplies needed on it.
“Take this list to Cargo Bay 3 and replicate what is on this list please. Take the two others with you to help. It should take you no more than an hour to an hour and a half to complete. “
She said to the girl as she handed the PADD to her.
“Bring the replicated supplies back with you and have them stored in the lab for now. It’s not being used for the moment and can be used as extra storage space. I’ll put things in order once you are finished.”
Billi dismissed the young girl with a wave of her hand and turned back to Commander Reynolds.
“Now where were we?” she said with a slight smile.
