*As Traks finished deactivating the last of the known booby traps and other so called fail safes that the former crew of the Blair had put in place. His communicator beeped.*
Traks: Traks here
Arok: You do have the heart of a warrior and my brother will be proud of your actions and use of the ships he loaned you. We have beamed your Admiral back to the Blair and we will be escorting you back to your base. I am still having a little trouble adjusting to command of a Klingon Vessel after so long in Star Fleet, but as you humans say....
Traks: It's like riding a bike. Thank you for your help and I will never let myself become unworthy of the House of Krok. Qapla'
Arok: I will keep you informed of any information that we get out of the Mirror visitors. Also I would be watching that Officer Capitan James something about him bothers me. Good by my friend and Qapla'
Traks: Oh I will be keeping a very close eye on him.

Marko had spoken of his fears concerning the Captain being on the klingon ship to Carl on the bridge of the Blair, once the Blair had been brought back online they followed the huge Klingon ship, The Mo’Bah into warp. Carl had cut Marko off but everyone was on edge and Marko nodded appreciatively for Carl’s support, since Marko had joined the Raven Carl had always been there for advice and assistance and his presence was invaluable. As suddenly, the familiar sound of transport interrupted Marko's thoughts.
Marko was shocked as Mc materialised aboard the Bridge of the Blair, “Carl, situation report!” he bellowed as if he had never been away.
Marko listened intently to the conversation which followed between his superiors, discussing the prospective replacements for the Raven. Their conversation brought the torment of the last mission down to bare on Marko. In only his second mission, the ship had been taken over and destroyed… Marko took a deep breathe as he stared down at his console, mourning the passing of a great ship and his crewmates.
Marko stared up from his console as he heard the voice of Captain James. "Admiral, Intelligence is going to want to blame you and your crew," James said," the loss of four Starfleet officers and crewmen is punishment enough. I'll do everything in my power to protect your crew from what will be a terrible experience."
Marko offered an apologetic smile to the Captain, perhaps he was not so bad after all as he even offered to assist with repairs.
“Captain James, I could use some assistance in Operations if you feel up to it? No hard feelings about the last mission I hope…” Marko said, referring to his order to confine James.
(Tag James)
As Marko reached into his pocket he found the padd he had used to store as much information concerning the destruction of the Raven as he could. He tapped his finger on the screen as it sprung to life, perhaps this would shed some light onto how the Alliance had taken the Raven and destroyed her…

Traks: Captain I think I will put my faith in the Admiral's record as well as the report that has already been filed by General Arok or Fleet Admiral retired Arok as you may know him. But if I were you I would steer clear of Klingon space especially the area covered by Outpost D'Kul as the General did not seem to care for your actions in this event.
*Traks finished his speech and sat down at the tactical station to see what shape the mirror Klingons had left them in.*

Once Carl had finished his report on the status of the Blair, the two discussed the possible replacements which Command may now christen the USS Raven - B, and it was then that Captain James spoke.
Admiral, Intelligence is going to want to blame you and your crew, James said, the loss of four Starfleet officers and crewmen is punishment enough. I'll do everything in my power to protect your crew from what will be a terrible experience.
Thank you for your concern Captain. The entire crew of the Raven is grateful for your offer of support. I have a few connections within the Intelligence service myself, given I'm a former command Officer within it. I'm sure that once Command understand the special circumstances which lead to the,
It seemed as if the next words stuck in the Admiral's throat as he tried to utter them,
destruction of the Raven, they will see that it was not only through no fault of the crew of the Raven, but they could have done nothing more to stop the outcome of the Alliance sabotage. In fact, I'll be entering a commendation into the record of every member of crew for the bravery and valour.
Once the Admiral had finished speaking, there seemed to be a new found determination abound on the temporary home of the now displaced Bridge crew of the USS Raven. Captain James made his offer to help with the repairs to the Blair, an offer which Marko soon accepted.
As the USS Blair limped back to Starbase Bellicose at a leisurely warp four, the stars streaked past her. It would take her roughly eleven days to reach her new home, though with Scott McLean in the engine room, that number was sure to fall.

“Captain James, I could use some assistance in Operations if you feel up to it? No hard feelings about the last mission I hope…” Marko said, referring to his order to confine James.
"No worries, I escaped with ease," James replied with a smile," in the future, I would make sure that no active consoles are present when you jail someone. It gives them ample opportunity to escape."
(Marko)
"As for helping you out in operations, I would be delighted to," James replied," when I first started out, I was an operations manager."
James knew the Blair systems by heart, it would be rather easy for him to get most of the systems working. He would need to start with the power distrubition which would give him the chance to fix what was necessary. Currently power was being expelled in decks that were of no use to them at the moment.
Not being used to being given orders, James cut power to all decks that were of umimportance. This would allow an increase of eighteen percent to engines, navigations, and hull integrity.

Carl listened to the two Senior Officers as they exchanged comments .. Mc was right, this situation was no fault of the Ravens crew .. Unfortunately, he couldn't say the same for the Intelligence Officers involvement ..
But Mc hit the nail on the head .. The crew had acted above and beyond their duty, and Torek fully supported Mc's intent to put them forward for recognition, they deserved it to a man, and woman ..
"Captain James." Marko said, taking the opportunity to break the silence that followed, "I could use some assistance in Operations if you feel up to it .. No hard feelings about the confinement I hope .."
"None Commander." James said, seemingly forcing a smile, "As for helping out with Operations .. I would be delighted ....."
Carl couldn't hear the remainder of the conversation as the two Officers headed off the Bridge ... But, he was determined to keep an eye on 'Captain' James .. He didn't like how he'd arrived on the Raven, and as sure as eggs are eggs, he didn't like the outcome of his arrival, and intended to get something on him as and when possible ..........
~~~~~~~~~~
Four days later:
The Blair was now only twenty four hours from Star base Bellicose. The crew, as usual, had done all they needed to do, and more to keep the ship flying, and had even added some 'home-comforts' like re-fitting the crew lounge to make their stay less uncomfortable ..
Carl was on the Bridge, the Comm Officer informed him that they were being contacted via Sub-space .. He ordered the channel open ..
=^= Star base Bellicose to USS Blair =^=
=^= Blair .. Commander Torek .. Go ahead Bellicose =^=
=^= Commander .. You are ordered to halt your approach to Bellicose when you reach the five hundred thousand kilometer marker .. An escort vessel .. The USS Jonathan Evans .. Will rendezvous with you .. Command of the USS Blair will be granted to Star fleet Intelligence who will escort you into a secure dock .. More information will be given on approach to the marker .. Bellicose out =^=
The Comm was closed before Torek could speak ..
"Get that conversation piped into the Captains ready room." he ordered the duty Opps Officer, then tapped his Comm badge ..
=^= Torek to Captain =^=
=^= Go ahead Carl =^= Mc said sleepily.
=^= Sir .. There is something you need to see .. Your ready room ? =^=
=^= I'll be right there =^=
=^= I think Captain James should see this too Sir =^=
=^= OK .. Have him meet us there =^=
As the Comm closed, Carl got up ..
"Have Captain James meet me and the Admiral in the ready room ASAP."
"Aye Sir .. But he's only just got off shift Commander." said the duty Opps Officer ..
"Good for him .. Ten minutes tell him .. NO more .. Understand !" Carl said, heading toward the ready room, "You have the Bridge Lieutenant." ..........
Marko had just as soon offered his invitation for Captain James to assist in the Operations department when the Intelligence Officer coolly replied;
"No worries, I escaped with ease," James replied with a smile," in the future, I would make sure that no active consoles are present when you jail someone. It gives them ample opportunity to escape."
Marko cast the Captain a grin, Marko’s opinion of Captain James was slowly changing. Maybe he wasn’t so bad after all Marko wondered…
“I’ll keep that in mind in future Sir.” Marko grinned.
"As for helping you out in operations, I would be delighted to," James replied," when I first started out, I was an operations manager."
“Glad to hear it, I hope you can still remember what’s involved in working in Ops, If you could assist with repairing power distribution systems across the ship it would be greatly appreciated.”
Marko answered, handing Captain James a padd with details of where ship power was failing, or where power could be conserved. James stared at the padd, nodded to Marko and left the bridge to tend to repairs. Marko was impressed by James determination to help the Raven’s crew, perhaps the Intelligence Officer felt guilty or maybe he was just being helpful, Marko wasn’t sure which.
~~~~~~~~~~ 4 Days Later ~~~~~~~~~~
Marko had been working constantly, the whole crew of the Raven had to work double ships to get the USS Blair in full working order. During its occupation by the Alliance, the Blair had fallen into serious disrepair, it was almost no more than a wreck floating through space. Finally finishing his shift, Marko made his way to his quarters to take a shower and head for bed. Marko had been informed that the Blair was only 24 hours from Bellicose, he was looking forward to some shore leave for a change. The mission had taken its toll on all of the crew and Marko was no exception.

After re-playing the message from Bellicose, Carl waited to hear what his Commanding Officer had to say .. It wasn't much ..
"You're friends will be here shortly then Captain." Mc said to the Intelligence Officer, "No doubt you have plenty to tell them .. Dismissed Captain."
"Admiral .. It was obvi ......" James began, only to be interrupted ..
"Obvious .. That Star fleet Intelligence would take the Blair .. Yes it was .. I said dismissed .. Captain."
Without another word, James left the ready room ... Once the door was closed, Mc rose from his seat and stretched, before heading toward the door himself ..
"See to the rendezvous Carl .. I need to catch up on my sleep .. Inform me when 'they' arrive."
"Sir .." Torek said, standing as Mc left the room ...
Six hours later:
"Commander .. We are approaching the rendezvous point." the duty Navigation Officer said.
"Any signs of the Jonathan Evens ?" Carl asked Marko.
"I have her on sensors Commander .. She's approaching fast."
"Helm .. All stop."
"All stop aye."
Carl watched the view-screen, and the stars, as the Blair dropped from warp to impulse, then slowed to a complete stop, seemingly hanging in space .. The USS Jonathan Evens, Star fleet Intelligences' most advanced vessel, 'Or so we're led to believe' Torek thought with more than a hint of sarcasm, closed the gap between the two ships at an impressive rate .. Slowing, she rose above the plain by a mere one thousand meters and passed right over the Blair. Dropping once more to be level with the commandeered ship, it banked gracefully, and slowing, came alongside the Blair. Halting less than fifty meters ahead and to port .. Only sixty meters seperating the saucer sections of the two massive ships .. 'Impressive piloting in anyones books' Carl had to admit ...
=^= USS Jonathan Evans to USS Blair =^=
=^= USS Blair =^= Torek responded ..
On the screen, a man leaned forward in the Command chair before speaking again ..
=^= Commander Torek .. My name is Captain T'lal K'Veer .. Please drop your shields .. We will be boarding the Blair momentarily =^=
It was obvious that K'Veer would know 'who' he was addressing ..
=^= I'm sorry .. Captain .. But I'm under orders to inform 'my' Captain of your arrival .. It will I'm afraid be his decision when to drop the shields =^=
=^= It wasn't a requ ...... =^=
=^= I'm sure the Admiral will be in contact with you shortly Captain .. Blair out ! =^=
Several people were looking in Toreks' direction as he ran his finger across his throat to signify the Comm should be closed .. Marko nodded and shut off communication with the other ship ...
"He's not going to be too happy with you Commander." Ramius said, nodding toward the image of the Jonathan Evens ..
Carl placed his best bemused look on his face ..
"Marko .. Would you inform the Admiral that our 'guests' wish to board the Blair ?" then as the Operations Chief reached to activate a Comm channel, Carl continued, "Oh I'm sure he would appreciate a little of the 'personal' touch Marko .. Maybe you could take a leisurely stroll down to his quarters and inform him in person ?"
Grinning, Ramius handed Opps to his deputy, then headed for the turbo-lift ..
"No rush Commander." Carl said as Marko entered the 'lift ..
"Aye Sir .. No rush at all." the COO grinned ..........

*Traks noticed the Mobah cloaking then a ship approaching at high warp.*
Commander .. We are approaching the rendezvous point." the duty Navigation Officer said.
"Any signs of the Jonathan Evens ?" Carl asked Marko.
"I have her on sensors Commander .. She's approaching fast."
Traks: Commander our Klingon friends have cloaked so we should have back up if needed. I feel that General Arok is not happy with the way Intel is taking charge. Ah sir it looks as if they are trying to access our over-ride codes. I am sorry to inform you I have yet to replace the com to computer relay processors; the Blair's computer is still isolated from the outside world. It must be driving them nuts.

"Commander .. Our Klingon friends have cloaked so we should have back up if needed .. I feel that General Arok is not happy with the way Intel is taking charge."
"He's never been a lover of convention Colonel .. Thats for sure." Carl replied.
"Ah Sir .. It looks as if they are trying to access our override codes .. I am sorry to inform you I have yet to replace the Comm to computer relay processors .. The Blair's computer is still isolated from the outside world .. It must be driving them nuts."
Carl grinned, anything to 'get one over' on Intel was more than OK with him ..
"Consider yourself on report Mr Traks." Torek said jovially.
"I'll go throw myself in the Brig right now Sir." Traks replied, placing his wrists together as if awaiting a set of handcuffs ..
"Open a channel first." Carl said, grinning .. Traks nodded that he had complied ..
=^= USS Jonathan Evans .. It seems you are trying to gain access to our computer systems =^=
=^= Blair .. We are on a tight schedule here .. I have no time for your games =^= K'Veer said.
=^= The Admiral will be on the Bridge shortly 'Captain' .. But I must inform you that any further attempt at accessing the Blair's systems .. Will be taken as a hostile act .. We will react accordingly .. Blair out =^=
This time, Traks cut the Comm the second Carl said the word 'out' .. Torek watched the 'Evans sit just off their port side .. K'Veer must be seething by now, but Carl had had dealings with Star fleet Intelligence before, and wasn't about to bow down to their badgering ...
No doubt the Admiral would be informed of Torek's insubordination at the first opportunity, but he doubted Mc would do anything about it .. Other than annoy the Intel vessels Captain ..........

Mc7's sleep was disturbed. It was the first time he had ever suffered the loss of his ship, and it was an unsettling experience, to say the least. The fact that four of his crew also lost their lives as a result of the mirror universe forces incursion only made what little sleep he did manage worse. Finally he decided that if he wasn't going to get to sleep, he would make a start on his report to Command over the Raven - A's final ever mission. He knew that when they arrived back at Bellicose there would be a team of investigators from the Judge Advocate General's office. Mc7 knew it was procedure when a ship was lost for a full investigation and often times a court martial to be held, but that didn't make the prospect of one looming over his, and every other member of the Raven's crew, head.
Standing from the bed, which was held in a cabin which Mc7 assumed had belonged to whoever held Command of the Blair in it's previous existence in the mirror universe. Despite not having slept much, his muscles were still very taught, so he stretched them all in order to loosen them up somewhat. When this was achieved, he made his way over to the replicator and ordered his usual cappuccino. Sitting down at the desk in the cabin, the Admiral took a sip of the steaming hot coffee, and reached for a padd to being his report. As he begun to type his report out, the chime on his door sounded, letting him know that someone stood outside waiting on his attention.
Come in
The doors parted, and Marko Ramius entered the cabin.
Sorry to disturb you sir.
Marko looked around the room nervously. The Admiral was not in his uniform, but rather all he wore was a pair of sleeping shorts. It was immediately noticeable that Marko looked everywhere in the room, except directly at the Admiral, so Mc7 pushed the conversation forward.
What can I do you for you Mr Ramius?
Sir, Cmdr Torek asked me to tell you that the Jonathan Evans is currently sitting off our port side. Captain T'lal K'Veer is requesting permission for her teams to board the Blair and start securing it. The Cmdr informed them to hold their position until they heard from you.
Thank you Marko. I'll be on the Bridge in five minutes. Have Carl prepare the ship for boarding, and prepare the crew from disembarkation to Bellicose.
Marko nodded, and made his exit from the temporary Captains quarters and back to the Bridge.
5 minutes later on the Bridge
Mc7 walked onto the Bridge and surveyed it. The crew were working hard at their stations to ensure the Blair was ready to be handed over to Intelligence. Coming down from the turbolift to the main command deck, the Admiral sat in the chair which had just been vacated by Carl.
Lets get it over with then. Marko, open a channel to Captain K'Veer.
Seconds later, the view screen at the front of the Bridge changed from the star scape to the face of a middle aged Vulcan female, with four round pips on her collar. Before he had the chance to say a word, she began to talk.
Admiral, your staff have treated me with a complete lack of respect, and even threatened to take hostile action against my ship. I expect you to investigate and ensure proper discipline is maintained by your crew.
And there was me thinking it was customary to begin a conversation with the words hello Captain.I am well aware of your conversations with my staff,
This was a lie, but not one which K'Veer would ever be aware of, so Mc7 proceeded with it,
And given the exceptional circumstances surrounding the crew of the Raven over the last few days I'm sure we can both agree that a certain level of understanding can be shown. And in case there was any confusion about that Captain, that was not a request.
Mc7 let silence hang in the air for a moment, until the Captain merely nodded her acceptance of the order.
Now, the Blair will drop her shields and allow your teams to transport aboard. I expect your teams to treat my officers with the same respect and dignity which we have just agreed upon. If this is not the case, then I will hold you personally responsible.
We await the Blair's shield's being lowered Sir.

Carl rose as the Admiral entered the Bridge ..
Mc scanned each section briefly as he took his seat ..
"Lets get it over with then .. Marko .. Open a channel to Captain K'Veer."
Seconds later, the view screen at the front of the Bridge changed from the star scape to the face of a middle aged Vulcan female, with four round pips on her collar. Before he had the chance to say a word, she began to talk.
Torek remained silent in the Executive Officers' seat, as the Admiral and the Vulcan Captain exchanged 'pleasantries' .. It didn't go un-noticed, by Mc or Carl that K'Veer gave him several long looks during the conversation .. But finally, the two Senior Officers seemed to reach an understanding ...
"We await the Blair's shield's being lowered .. Sir." K'Veer said.
"I look forward to meeting you in person .. Captain .. Blair out."
The screen changed to a view of the Jonathan Evans. Carl was about to order the shields be lowered, when Mc spoke ..
"How old do you think K'Veer is ?"
"I wouldn't like to guess Admiral .. Besides .. Being Vulcan .. I'm sure i'd be too far out whatever I guessed." Carl said.
"She's one hundred and fifty seven .. She's held the rank of Captain in Star fleet Intelligence for almost twenty years .. Don't you find that a little strange .. You know .. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if she actually out-ranked me." Mc said, a wry grin on his face, "Anyway .. Let's get this done .. Lower the shields."
Traks lowered the Blair's shields, and within seconds seven beams of light appeared on the Bridge .. As the transports were completed, the Raven Officers were shocked to be looking at the wrong end of six phaser rifles ..
An elderly Vulcan woman, wearing the rank insignia of a Star fleet Captain, stepped forward ..
"Admiral Mc7_of_9 .. I am Captain T'lal K'Veer of Star fleet Intelligence .. I am here to ......" she hesitated for a split-second as she caught sight of Captain James, then she continued, her eyes never leaving those of James', "...... take Command of the USS Blair."
Slowly, Mc got up from the Command seat, and stepping to one side, motioned for the Vulcan to be seated in his place ..
"Would you MIND explaining all this !" Carl said, not making it a request, as he pointed to the armed 'escort' ...
"Precautions Commander .. Just precautions." she said, choosing to ignore the tone of Carl's voice, "You can begin beaming the teams over now Major." she said to one of the armed men, who instantly tapped his Comms badge and began to snap out orders .. The others moved to each of the Command consoles and started to work ..
The Raven's Officers simply stood back and gave them room ..........

USS Raven former Chief Engineer Scott McLean and his young daughter Vanessa hasn’t been drifting in space very long when they were picked up by the now acting USS Blair. Seeing the tractor beam from the ship’s shuttle bay brought a calming feeling washing over McLean. It wasn’t because the Blair has found them it was because he now felt 100% certain that Vanessa was going to be all right.
The engineer eyed his daughter and saw that she was rather calm given the circumstances. Deep down he feared that she was still in shock from her mother and brothers sudden death and this latest incident hadn’t even registered on her little shock scale. If she was genuinely feeling nothing about what happened he envied her, for he knew there was a chance more men had died under his command, or rather under Benson’s command. He did however know of one selfless enlisted engineer who sacrificed himself during the liberation of Main Engineering. He would never forget what that man did but before that he wanted to know his name.
“Blair to Escape Pod 77 stand by for docking.”
“Roger.” McLean replied.
Vanessa was looking out of her small window at the Blair. She seemed almost overly interested in the ships size; McLean chalked it up to her never being outside and this close to a ship to really appreciate its real size.
“When we get onboard I’m probably going to have to go right to work to make sure we get home safe, OK?” McLean felt weird about asking Vanessa that. It was as if he was asking her permission to go back to work; like Vanessa had the authority to tell Admiral Mc 7 of 9 that she didn’t want her Daddy working today. McLean chuckled at the thought of a little girl giving the Admiral the ‘what for and how’.
The docking procedure took longer than McLean would have guessed. More than anything it had to do with the fact that he had never been on a escape pod before, let alone apart of a mass evacuation of a dying starship.
It was at this moment that the severity of the days events started to him McLean. He took Vanessa by the hand and they walked to the force field that held back the vacuum of space. He double checked with the officer in charge about more incoming pods before standing so close to the force field. His home was now gone, everything that he had left inside of his quarters were no more. No more memories of the life that he once lived on that ship. His drinking problem seemingly vanished with the Raven, or so he hoped.
Outside McLean could pick out the various parts of the Raven that hadn’t been completely vaporized in the explosion. Some how a Warp Nacelle always seemed to survive the death throws of an exploding starship. He watched it spin and float away from the other wreckage and pointed out several parts of the ship to Vanessa.
She was a curious child and didn’t hesitate to ask why the ship had sunk. McLean laughed at the nautical terms that Vanessa had used but he assured her that the ship didn’t sink instead it had exploded. Outside though, you couldn’t tell the difference between an ancient Earth shipwreck and the wreck that stood before him in the void of space. Maybe sunk was a good term to use after all, McLean thought.
“Sir, we have another escape pod incoming.” A young Ensign announced.
“Thank you.” McLean replied before taking Vanessa by the hand and leading her out of the shuttle bay.
Not two steps out of the shuttle bay McLean had nearly been knocked over by a few rushing men whom he recognized as fellow engineers.
“Watch it.” One of them blurted out as he passed.
“Excuse me.” McLean said in a commanding tone that made the three young engineers stop in their tracks. McLean still wasn’t wearing his pips on his collar but he was still a well-known man on the Raven and the three rushing engineers realized the errors of their ways and quickly apologized.
“What’s the status report?” McLean asked.
“Not sure yet sir. We could use your help in Main Engineering though.”
“OK, I’ll be right down.” McLean replied looking around as if to try and spot somebody he knew. In the crowded corridor McLean spotted Vanessa’s schoolteacher, she had a group of kids with her and McLean knew of no better place for Vanessa right now.
“Commander.” She said with a genuine smile.
“Mrs. Brandt could you watch over Vanessa?” McLean asked. He didn’t have to explain why, she already knew. She gladly said yes and added Vanessa to her growing cadre of kids. Before leaving McLean bend down and kissed Vanessa on the cheek and told to behave herself while he was at work. She promised but didn’t make eye contact with her father the entire time. McLean began to wish that Vanessa would have that little sit down talk with the Admiral that he dreamed about while in the escape pod.

.. Let's get this done .. Lower the shields."
Traks lowered the Blair's shields, and within seconds seven beams of light appeared on the Bridge .. As the transports were completed, the Raven Officers were shocked to be looking at the wrong end of six phaser rifles ..
*As Traks lowered the shields he imitated a site to site program and with all eyes on the boarding party no one noticed the arrival of his weapons and combat armor. Slipping into the briefing room he quickly put on his armor and slipped back into the bridge leveling his phaser rifle at the Vulcan Capitan.*
Slowly, Mc got up from the Command seat, and stepping to one side, motioned for the Vulcan to be seated in his place ..
"Would you MIND explaining all this !" Carl said, not making it a request, as he pointed to the armed 'escort' ...
"Precautions Commander .. Just precautions." she said, choosing to ignore the tone of Carl's voice, "You can begin beaming the teams over now Major." she said to one of the armed men, who instantly tapped his Comm badge and began to snap out orders .. The others moved to each of the Command consoles and started to work ..
Traks: Captain K'Veer I must insist on your team lowering their weapons.
K'Veer: Mr Traks; I presume you know you are out gunned.
Traks: Qapla' and at 8 to one with my armor I like my odds. *At which point the Bridge of the Blair got very crowded as 14 Klingon Warriors materialized with General Arok standing beside Admiral Mc.*
Arok: Captain K'Veer I am retired less than 6 months and you are trying to take the law into your own hands again? Now I monitored the Admiral giving you an order which you seem to have disobeyed. If you are going to arrest this crew than I will have to arrest you.
K'Veer: On what charges sir?
Arok: Violation of the Broken Mirror treaty with the Klingon Empire. I would suggest that you check with Star Fleet Intel HQ and see if they are willing to risk war with the Empire just to further your carer.

As the Klingon contingent materialized on the Blair's Bridge, Carl had to resist the urge to grin and say "I told you so" to K'Veer .. She was in no doubt that he 'wanted' to speak though, and gave him a look that said it would be unwise to do so ...
Arok was under no such restraint though ..
"Captain K'Veer." he said, looking down at the Vulcan, "I am retired less than 6 months and you are trying to take the law into your own hands again .. Now .. I monitored the Admiral giving you an order .. One which you seem to have disobeyed .. If you are going to arrest this crew than I will have to arrest you ......"
Torek watched as the Admiral admonished the Intelligence Officer, but being Vulcan, she chose to take it, rather than argue .. Asking one question only ..
"On what charges Sir !"
"Violation of the Broken Mirror treaty with the Klingon Empire .. I would suggest that you check with Star Fleet Intelligence Headquarters .. See if they are willing to risk war with the Empire just to further your career." Arok finished, taking Carl's seat next to Mc, and raising his eyebrows as if awaiting an answer ..
"There is only 'so much' someone of even your rank can get away with Admiral .. But yes .. We have gone about this in the wrong manner .. I must apologize." K'Veer said, nodding to both Senior Officers, "I would like to take the Blair to the secure docking facility now .. Do you wish to stay aboard while we do this ?"
Both Admiral's seemed to shrug indifference at the question ..
"Carry on Captain." Mc said ...
K'Veer nodded, then turned to her Officer at the Helm ..
"Impulse power .. You have the co-ordinates for the dock."
"Yes Captain." the man said, and seconds later, the USS Blair began her approach to Star base Bellicose ..
~~~~~~~~~~
With the Mo'Bah and the Jonathan Evans in close formation, the Blair closed on the dock .. In every department of the ship, the Raven crew stood by silently watching their opposite numbers as they began the docking process .. No-one offered to assist, and none were asked, which suited both crews ..
On the Bridge, Mc and Arok listened to the orders from K'Veer to her staff .. It looked as if one dock had been secured for their arrival, Carl watched as the ship neared the end of it's journey, and the Raven's crew got closer to a well earned rest ..
Carl would be eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Raven-B ..........
"Marko .. Would you inform the Admiral that our 'guests' wish to board the Blair ?" then as the Operations Chief reached to activate a Comm channel, Carl continued, "Oh I'm sure he would appreciate a little of the 'personal' touch Marko .. Maybe you could take a leisurely stroll down to his quarters and inform him in person ?"
Marko gave his XO a wry smile, “Aye sir”
As he made his way to the turbolift and to the temporary staff quarters. Checking the manifest he had signed off on earlier to remember which quarters were those of the Captain. Marko informed the Captain of their guests’ imminent arrival and accompanied Mc back to the Bridge.
"Lets get it over with then .. Marko .. Open a channel to Captain K'Veer."
Mike nodded subtly as he opened the channel. A female Vulcan Captain of StarFleet Intelligence came on screen, ordering the Blair to drop her shields. Traks lowered the Blair's shields, and within seconds seven beams of light appeared on the Bridge .. As the transports were completed, the Raven Officers were shocked to be looking at the wrong end of six phaser rifles ..
“What the hell?” Marko yelled, as he felt someone grab him on the shoulder. Not again he thought to himself, he had already been knocked on the head earlier and been threatened with being shot. Marko held Carl yell as he was brushed from his Ops station.
Would you MIND explaining all this !"
The old Vulcan glanced at Carl for a second before giving a callous look, "Precautions Commander .. Just precautions." she said, choosing to ignore the tone of Carl's voice, "You can begin beaming the teams over now Major."
Marko was furious, StarFleet Intelligence were morons. The Raven’s mission had only compounded the analysis in Marko’s mind. Why did they have to act so self righteous and right all the time!
Suddenly, the Bridge of the Blair got very crowded as 14 Klingon Warriors materialized with General Arok standing beside Admiral Mc. This was turning out to be one hell of mission, Marko was relieved to see General Arok again. The General was a man of honour and integrity and his career was glittered with distinction.
Marko stood back as did the rest of the Raven’s crew as Captain K’Veer’s crew brought the Blair into dock at Bellicose. Marko watched, slightly apprehensively as his opposite number operated what had been his station only for a short while but it was still his. Marko sighed a sign of relief when the docking process was complete, he was looking forward to his shore leave and escaping the company of so many Intelligence Officers.
“Well, we made it!” Marko smiled with glee, it was evident that from the faces of the Raven’s crew that everyone was pleased to be back on Bellicose.
Torek wasn't surprised, neither was Mc, that K'Veer had the Blair docked in one of the massive closed docks of Star base Bellicose, rather than using one of the exterior, open docks .. It was obvious that Intel' wanted the ship hidden from view .. Carl neither wondered, or cared what they did with the ship .. As far as he, and many others of the Raven were concerned, they were just happy to be back, and safe ..He watched as umbilicals were attached, and an air-tight walk-way stretched out smoothly connecting the ship to the dock and Bellicose herself .. Activating the Comms, K'Veer spoke .. =^= Engineering .. Do we have external power ? =^= =^= Yes Captain .. I'm powering-down the warp drive now and will take it off-line within minutes. =^= =^= Very well ... =^= Turning to the two Admirals, still sat quietly talking together, "Admiral Mc7_of_9 .. We are now secure .. You will be allowed to disembark your crew .. But they must not leave the Space Station .. You and Commander Torek will need to answer some questions put forward by your Command." =^= Warp core is now off-line .. Ship is on external power =^= Engineering reported .. K'Veer ignored the Comm .. Mc and Carl already knew that they would be questioned in regards the loss of the USS Raven .. It was slightly annoying that this Vulcan chose to point the fact out as if they were children about to be chastised .. Mc stood, walking over to stand in front of the Vulcan Captain .. "I will dismiss my crew as and when I am ready .. Captain .. Thank you for a smooth docking ...." he said, the tiniest hint of sarcasm in his voice, then he turned to Arok, "Care for a farewell drink in 'my' ready room Admiral ?" Grinning, Arok got up .. "I would be honored Admiral." he said, sweeping his outer coat round in a show of almost defiance, or even dismissal to the Vulcan, who could only stand by and watch in silence .. "Carl .. Please inform the crew that we will be departing the Blair in say ...... Two hours .. That should give everyone time to get their things together." Mc said as he left the Bridge .. "Aye ... Admiral." Torek said, smiling at K'Veer, who was doing the Vulcan version of 'biting her lip' .......... ~~~~~~~~~~ooOOoo~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ooOOoo~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
