Liz smiled. She liked it when he took control of situations, although she wasn't sure she would admit that to him. She continued to smile as she moved closer to him and put her head on his shoulder still not feeling warmed up yet. She stayed that way for a few minutes before she got up entering the tent. When she returned to where he was sitting, she had brought a sleeping back with her. In seconds she was laying by the fire in a warm sleeping bag gazing up at him.
"Mikey, what are we going to do tomorrow, the next day, and the day after that?" Liz asked not sure what she was looking for him to say. She just looked up at him wondering if this is what she had always wanted, and if so why she didn't know about this desire until now.

Michael scooted down to where she was and looked into her eyes. "I have absolutely no idea what we're doing tomorrow. I hadn't really... well I never really plan doing anything. But I do know one thing: I plan on doing it with you." She continued to smile at him. He reached out behind him. "Ah crap!" He got up and traipsed over to the tent heaving an exasperated sigh hoping of seeing if there were another sleeping bag for him. There was.
He laid down next to her zipped up in his sleeping bag. She inched her way over to him. "So you'd be willing to do anything with me?" She had that devilish look on her face.
"Per my discretion of course." She was getting a thought in her mind.
"Oh really?" She started to clamber on to him. He clambered back and the two of them rolled around. The two of them together looked liked two worms going at each other or two idiots in sleeping bags wrestling. Either way, the final move came and Michael pinned her down.
"Wow, you're really soft." He laid there on top of her.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"That you're not hard and really comfortable to be on?" ;D
"Oh yeah? Well I know something that's hard."
"Yeah? What?" She bounced him off over on to the ground. "Ow! That hurt!" She quickly rolled over on to him.
"Hm! This really is comfortable. I can see why you like it so." He looked down at himself.
"Well my hands are tied."
"Mine aren't." She unzipped herself from her sleeping bag.
"Let me ask you something." She was all ears. "How do you always come out on top?"

"I think you already know the answer to that question," she responded smiling sweetly. Liz started to tickle Mike making him squirm a little. She waited continuing to tickle him. Eventually he gave in asking her to stop, which she did seconds after.
"Now that was fun," she said and put her head on his chest getting comfortable. She wondered how long she would be on top, but didn't think long on the subject closing her eyes. She listened to his heart beat.
Liz woke up discovering the sun starting to rise and Mike asleep still. She got off of him and carefully returned the sleeping bag back inside the tent. She moved away over to a set of bushes and hid behind them watching him. She wondered how fast it would take him to find her.

As Michael slept that night, he had a terrible nightmare: they were in a store as he held her purse, paying for everything, and giving her opinions on each thing she looked at. Incidentally, Liz had a wonderful dream as she comfortably slumbered on top of him: they were in a store as Michael held her purse, paying for everything, and speaking when she wanted him to. Dawn cracked upon their location and as they had slept stacked in their sleeping bags, it became apparent something had changed. Michael was stirred by this. His eyes opened and he realized the doctor was not there. Still bound in his bag, he fought his way out unzipping himself in the process. Liz secretly watched him from behind the bush. The spectacle he made trying to get out was too much to remain still. She giggled uncontrollably. Aarons heard something and he looked to the bushes. He got up and once he was over the weaknesses of sleep, stumbled over to where he heard the noise. "Man I really gotta go!" He headed for Liz's bush. Oh no, she thought as she didn't know what to do. She began to panic. "Hey Liz, while you're back there, why don't you get me some toilet paper." She arose from behind the bush. He smiled immensely. "You were going to... to... to...!" "Oh I was, was I? And what dare I say were you doing?" Liz began to conjure an answer. [Tag]

"Waiting to see how long it took you before you looked for me. You are a slow poke. To think I could have been abducted, or worse," she said teasing him. Liz knew he would always find her no matter what, and was glad of it. She moved forward not noticing the small hole, and she stepped into it getting her ankle stuck. She groaned.
"Mike, my foot is stuck," she said and he smiled.
"Really?" he said and she gave him an evil look. He came over to her location and kneeled down to see how he could help, then he stopped.
"Hmmm... You know, this is an interesting circumstance. On the one hand, I could get your foot out of there, on the other I could leave it for a little bit and come back in a day or two," he said still grinning.
"Well, that depends on you then. On the one hand, you could get me out of this and be the hero. On the other you could come back to a really upset woman who would torture you until I thought it was enough. Oh wait, I do that any ways. I could make you really worry. You could come back and... and... and...!" She said trying to think of something. He chuckled.
"Yuppers, I will be back in a day or two with that response. See ya later, Lizzy," he said and gathered his supplies. He didn't think she would last long without calling out for him. She sighed and kneeled down trying to pry her ankle out. Liz didn't like this at all and hoped he would come back.
About an hour later it started to rain, and Liz was getting soaked. She hated being this wet and cold, but knew there was nothing she could do about it. Then it happened, her ankle came free since the dirt around it had turned to mud. She pulled her ankle out of the mud and rubbed it feeling nothing wrong with it now. She went inside the tent and waited out the storm, which lasted all night.
The next day, Liz smiled and walked in the opposite direction Mike had. She made it look like there were two different impressions in the mud, and chuckled as she walked for a couple of miles. Once she had done that she grabbed a fallen branch and made sure to dragg it behind her so no prints would be left. She found a nice place to hide, and climbed up into a nearby tree to watch.
Liz could see for miles around, and just sat in the tree watching the camp for when Mike would return. He did about ten minutes later. In an instant he began searching bushes, which made her laugh.

Dyton Kel had arrived on Starbase Belicose three hours ago, unsure of exactly where he was being assigned or what he was having for lunch. Sure enough, his orders had been passed on down. After navigating the halls of the station he stood at a docking port with a cylindrical carry case under one arm (his worldly belongings) and a PADD in the other hand.
As he stepped through the threshold, Security confirmed his orders and his transfer requests. They studied his PADD briefly and handed it back, welcoming him aboard. He nodded with a smile, and glanced at his PADD. His orders weren't too specific - USS Majesty, Engineering assignment. He set off down a corridor, forgetting to ask for directions. His subconcious seemed to prefer wandering.
"Computer, who is the Chief Engineer of this ship?"
"Error. Unable to process."
Kel peered sideways, up and down the empty corridor he found himself in. 'Error,' he thought? He approached a nearby control panel and entered a few commands, hoping to bring up a map to Main Engineering. Unfortunately he wasn't familiar with the Sovereign class. The panel was barely responding, there seemed to be an issue with the main computer core.
"Computer, who is the XO of this ship?"
"Commander TEG 24601." Kel recognised the Adelphian designation.
"Locate Commander TEG."
"Commander TEG is in his quarters."
The panel that couldn't figure out where Main Engineering was seemed to have no trouble finding the XOs quarters. Fortunately it wasn't far. Kel stood outside the Commander's quarters, still finding himself wondering about lunch...

TEG was awoken from his nightmarish dream by the sound of his door chime. TEG realized that he had fallen asleep in his uniform. He got up and walked to the door. He pressed the door activation button. Outside the door TEG found a young acting ensign. He remembered something about a new Engineer coming aboard. He thought for a few seconds...
"Commander TEG, I presume?" spoke the young ensign, noticing the XO's 3 solid and 1 hollow pip.
"You must be Ensign Kel. Welcome aboard." TEG extended his large hand and the ensign look it. "Welcome aboard." TEG reached in on a table and withdrew a PADD from a pile. "Here is you quarter assignment. I suggest you drop-off your stuff in your quarters and see if there is anything you can do to expedite repairs on the computer core. We need it back so we can find the Captain."

Nik just happened to be passing TEG's quarters and noticed his slightly flustered look. And guessed he must have fallen asleep. Ahh Sleep...Nik was beginning to wonder when the crew would do that again.
"I'll have him" Nik said grabbing the poor ensigns arm. Simultaneously taken the padd. "You wont need this. Your quarters are just down from mine. " Nik said smiling trying to re-assure the poor guy.
"I need him to assist, Gaz and myself. He'll be fine."

Kel was about to inquire as to the situation with the core, and then for some directions, but before he knew it he was being pulled down the corridor by his arm - PADD snatched from his grasp. The XO seemed a little disheveled anyway, it was probably best not to linger too long on his doorstep.
"Thankyou sir!" Kel called over his shoulder even as TEG disappeared back into his quarters.
A few strides later, Kel turned to the officer in teal still holding him by the arm.
"Ensign Kel," he extended his partially restrained right arm to shake hands. "Thanks for..." he flinched slightly, freeing himself from his guide "...showing me around! I didn't quite catch your name," he peered discreetly at his assailantsguides collar, "Commander."
<Greenwood>
After having dropped off Kel's luggage, the pair continued at high impulse down the long bending hall, presumably towards Engineering. "So exactly what is the issue with the main core? I've noticed some interface problems already..."
OOC: I'm not sure how you guys handle writing dialogue for each other - it seems as though you do it in small patches just to make the posts flow, but I haven't had a chance to get a good sense of characters yet so I didn't want to step on anyone's toes. Any rules of thumb you use here?

Liz was going to be [word deleted]. Nature sure was ugly when it was wet. Still Michael traipsed on through the muddy trail back to camp. Normally it wouldn't have taken so long but it didn't help that he had gotten lost on along the way. He could only imagine the response he would get upon returning. Had he not cared for her so he might have just turned around and left. Upon reaching the site there was no sign of Dr. Janeway just a muddy hole. This was not looking good. The tracks in the ground indicated one of two possible directions she might have gone. Since he didn't pass her on the way up she must have gone deeper into the woods; no doubt to find a big stick with which to hit him with. He followed as far as he could before reaching a dead trail. He searched around but with no luck. From behind dropped a figure. As he turned around he found Liz. She seemed very upset. He was very glad to see her and he moved close to hold her. Seeing the look on her face, like hugging a cactus, he flinched. "What are you doing?" She wasn't very happy with him. "I got you this," he produced a small necklace. "It was the only way I could get it without you knowing about it." She took it from him. "So does it always take you this long?" She looked it over. "Aside from getting lost a bit at first, there was the rai- ooh!" She wasn't smiling. "Well it's a very thoughtful gift." She said putting it on. She inched closer to him and he embraced her. He was grateful to be able to have someone like that. With this now he'd never lose her again (tracking bug). OFF: To answer your question, just write what you need them to say and if they have a problem we tie y'all's ankles together, throw in a couple of knives, and wish ya' the best of luck.

OOC: The knives btw wouldn't be close enough to cut the ropes though. That wouldn't be good enough torture. IC: Liz couldn't stay mad at Mike for very long. It wasn't every day someone gave her a gift, and one to make her more pretty at that. She wished she had something for him, and felt bad. They went back to camp and got her supplies. Once everything was taken care of, and Liz was cleaned up, they headed down the trail for even more fun. They had walked for hours, and she was a bit tired having had to be in a standing position and getting wet hadn't helped her sleep much. Mike seemed to have noticed and stopped saying he needed to rest. "Yes, rest is good. I have the tent too, that way we can set up a camp site again," she said realizing she wanted one more thing from him, but she didn't ask for it then. About ten minutes later they were walking again even though Mike said they should rest longer. Liz knew the point was still a good portion of the days walk away. Mike was walking beside her until he tried to go around a tree. She didn't agree with the way he was headed. "Mike, please come over here," she said, and he did so not sure what was going on. She took his hand in hers and took him around the way she was going not walking into a spider web like he was about to. She stopped just passed the trees he was going to walk in between. "Ah so if it glimmers its a spider's web. Interesting. What?" she said noticing he was smiling. "There, now you have learned something," he said chuckling. She playfully punched him in the arm. "You did that just to teach me a lesson. I should have known," Liz said and then chuckled. Mike grabbed his arm where she had punched it faking pain. "I didn't punch you that hard, don't be a baby," she said and found he was tickling her. "HEY!" The tickling eventually led to them rolling around on the ground, and they rolled down a hill stopping at the bottom. He stopped tickling and she smiled. She took out a map and showed him something. "We were suppose to get to this grove here called Trichta Lymonta, meaning Lover's Point. We are here now, and it is a good days walk to there. Maybe if we short cut through these here we can make it before sun down," she suggested and he agreed. Just as the sun started to sink below the horizon the couple entered Lover's Point. Liz dropped her stuff and set up the tent finally getting the hang of things, at least a little bit. She noticed Mike got the fire going. Liz sat down next to him. "Mike, promise me something?" she said. "What?" he asked. "Promise me you won't ever leave me like you did when my ankle got stuck," she said and waited for his answer. (Mike) Dark had finally come and Liz watched Mike poke the fire. She pulled something out of her pack. "I forgot all about this, and thought maybe now would be a good time. It's pretty strong drink, so we shouldn't have too much," she said and he gave her a look taking the bottle of wine from her. She had never had too much to drink in her entire life. About three hours later the bottle lay empty by the fire as Liz started to dance around having fun. Mike joined her.

"Mike, promise me something?" she said. "Promise me you won't ever leave me like you did when my ankle got stuck," she said and waited for his answer. "Promise. I'm sorry I left you-!" "Uh," she put a hand to him silencing him. "Don't say anything of it." Darkness was fast to arrive as they spent another night in the forest primeval. Liz had begun to rummage through her stuff before making a surprise revelation... she had been holding out! Michael felt like an idiot as his and her groove things were shaking all over the place more than his thoughts at the moment. This had to be the second time he had ever been drunk. (I don't count that business in the Christmas post because that's not canon.) She danced her whole troubles away which could almost be said for her balance. "Whoa! Don't want to fall in the fire, that's a real buzz-kill." He grabbed her before she "danced into the fire." She looked at him like never before. Michael couldn't really tell but all his abilities to listen to rational thought were severely diminished. The notion to back up as she seemed to guide him struck his mind and he obeyed. They together approached the tent. Instinctively Michael crawled in and Liz seemed to share that instinct. He didn't know why although one couldn't really say he knew anything at the moment except that she was pretty... very pretty. She closed the flap. [Tag]

She awoke groggy and disoriented. Nothing around her was familiar and she couldn’t remember how she got – wherever it is she was. She couldn’t remember anything.
In one smooth motion, she swung her legs around and dismounted from what appeared to be a crude rendition of a bio bed. Her feet thudded on the cold floor and her head responded with an excruciating pounding throb. She sunk to her knees in response to the pain and almost lost consciousness. The pain continued as she fought for control over her uncooperative limbs and willed herself to stand. A chill ran through her and she realized she was sans uniform with only a thin gown-like garment as covering. She had no memory of undressing, but rather than dwell on the embarrassment, she told herself there were more important issues to deal with and forced her eyes to survey the room. She half expected to see Starfleet-issue medical equipment since it was obvious she was in some sort of sickbay. Instead, she saw a piecemeal assortment of objects some seemingly from Romulan origins. Just as she moved closer to inspect them, two muscular forms charged through the door, strong- armed her and dragged her to the bed. A third figure, hidden till now by the bulkier two, appeared with a hypospray. She could tell he was human or humanoid and desperately fought to make out his features before the effects of the drug took over, but his face swirled into oblivion as darkness rushed in.
She dreamed. Hawk was there and TEG too. Even Bill was there and he was the Captain and she his Number One. Aarons was just a kid, content to sit behind his console and nothing more. Nik flitted in and out like a squirrel on amphetamines while Ramsden pulled his usual antics. Christine was missing, just the way she liked it. All was right in this world. She knew it was a dream but desired to linger there and suspend reality for a while longer. Abruptly, the fondness for the dream ended as pain seared her entire body. It was if her brain were on fire. She was blind, helpless and unaware of what or who was causing her pain. All she could think of is how to make it stop. Then, as quickly as it had started, it ceased. She was afraid to relax, fearful that the pain would return and she would be unprepared for it. She didn’t think she could bear it a second time. It was then she heard a small yet clear voice calmly asking over and over, “Where is Dr. Schmidt?” She honestly didn’t know. She responded. Were her words audible? She couldn’t feel her lips forming words nor could she feel her vocal chords resonating. Only silence. Suddenly, the pain coursed through her again, erasing all thoughts but how to stop it. She screamed in agony but didn’t hear it. The illogic mattered little for all she wanted was the torturous pain to leave and the dream to return.

Kel and Greenwood had arrived at the main computer core access room. There was someone already in the room, working intensely over the main console.
"Commander Gaz, this is Ensign Kel. He's our new Engineer. TEG thinks he might be able to help with our current situation."
Gaz spun around briefly and exchanged a handshake and a nod with Kel. He was Trill. Kel had missed those familiar spots. For the past few years he had been assigned to a ship where he was the only Trill on board, and he hadn't been home for many years more. Kel wanted to know everything about him, but Gaz was already back at work. Kel followed his gaze, and came shoulder to shoulder with him at the controls.
"A multi-tiered encryption virus," Kel noted as he studied the LCARS display. "At this rate the core will become completely inoperable in less than an hour!" Kel left the panel Gaz was working on and approached another workstation built into the wall. He sat and begun entering commands.
"Any ideas?" Greenwood inquired, following Kel and looking over his shoulder.
"The encryption algorithms are propagating randomly and almost... intelligently. They've been outmanouvering Commander Gaz's attempts to lock them out. If we can't stop individual encryptions we have to think larger. Take out the entire viral network in one hit."
"I'm writing a sub routine now that will search for the main virus code," Gaz interjected while still working on his panel.
"While you're working on that I'll set up a fortified secondary processor that we can dump primary systems on in case we have to wipe the entire core."

Trying to squeeze back tears, she begged for relief. For short respites, she would be free of torment, only to be followed by intense waves of it. The anticipation of the next bout was nearly as abhorrent as the horrific pain. She could feel her sanity slipping, reverting instead to basic instinctual thoughts. She fought against restraints she couldn’t see and implored entities unseen to liberate her. Her body contorted, every muscle in spasm. A roar filled her ears and she knew if it continued, her brain would explode.
“This is useless. She’s not telling us what we need!”
“She will tell us. Or her mind will be emptied. Either way, it doesn’t matter. We still have the Falconian.”
“Hmph, he’s probably weaker than this female.” The bulky Orion was clear to show his disgust for both prisoners. “This mind-sifter will leave his brain shredded like slaw and we will never find Schmidt.”
“Patience, my jolly green giant,” the human answered, sarcasm dripping from his tongue. “I know what I’m doing.”
They watched with disinterest as her body writhed uncontrollably then sank back, lifeless, as she lost consciousness again.
A long sigh escaped the human’s lips. “We’ll come back and finish her off.” He grabbed her chin and turned her face to him. “She may have one last word she would like to say to us before dying.” With a mighty shove, he wrenched her head back to its previous position. It seemed to anger him that she had no response and he slapped her hard with the back of his hand.

Liz watched him, and smiled laying down next to him. The next morning she woke up noticing she was alone, and vaguely remembering the night before. She blushed a little, but realized she wouldn't change a thing about the night before, well all except the excessive drinking. She now had a headache, and hoped she remembered to pack the right medicine. Going outside she saw him and smiled. She walked over forgetting the headache relief for the moment putting her arms around him hugging him from the backside. "Good morning," she said then moved over to her pack quickly looking for medicine. She wasn't disappointed when she found two hyposprays already filled for just the occasion. ~Man, either I planned this, or I thought ahead just in case this happened. Did he... ?~ Liz thought wondering if she should ask him. She pushed one hypospray to her neck, then pushed the other to his. "Next time, I say we leave the booze out of it," she said and noticed the look on his face. "Yes, that's right, I said next time. Just don't get a big head about last night though," she said teasing him. Liz knew the weather was going to be a bit hot that day, and smiled remembering exactly what she had planned for them today. They tore down camp, and then started to hike again. "Mike, there is something I want to ask you, but I'm not sure how to go about it," she said a bit nervous.

Gently waking from the hard pressed slumber of an overnight bender, Michael felt a little confused as he regained consciousness. He felt a very cozy sensation as he realized he was in an affectionate embrace. He lifted up the sheet finding himself very vulnerable. He looked over to see that it was Dr. Janeway who had gotten up close to him and held him tight. He looked under the sheets and found her to be as equally naked as he was. Apparently we had snou-snou. ;D He was perfectly content to stay there, remaining calm as not to disturb her, but found that he could not remain still like that for long. As much as it pained him to do so, he slipped from her hold and threw something on. It was somewhat uncomfortable to stand upright as the pressure mounted in his head. The Haven star rose in the horizon that surreal morning. The Point was clear which was nice. He thought about the doctor and wished to be back with her when he felt an embrace come around him which was so nice. With a 'good morning' it was short lived as she moved over to the packs digging inside. She returned and he felt a hypo pressed to his neck as gradually the pressure to his head disappeared. "Next time, I say we leave the booze out of it," Next time!? "Yes, that's right, I said next time. Just don't get a big head about last night though," she said teasing him. They broke camp and bid farewell to 'Trichta Lymonta'. Strolling down as he held her close, she seemed distracted. "Mike, there is something I want to ask you, but I'm not sure how to go about it," she said a bit nervous. "I don't know how we're going to get those diamonds back down." "No..." she focused and began. "Just how safe were things last night?" "Well it was a very sturdy tent and the flap was closed, plus the Lover's Point was secluded from most..." She stopped him cold. "No I mean," She cloely whispered into his ear, "how safe were we last night?" Putting much emphasis in her words. "Oh!" He rested his hands on her shoulders as he held her at arms length gazing into her eyes for an answer. "I don't quite remember anything last night." She put her hand to his forehead and ordered him to concentrate. He saw events of that night unfold with a mental clarity. He recalled taking the necessary precautions just before fully engaging in their sordid activities. "I assure you we were quite safe." She wanted to believe him and they moved in close to each other before making out on the side of the trail.

Liz enjoyed the time out they took for fun on the side of the trail, and pulled away after a little bit. She smiled and said they should continue on. She didn't like how hot it had become, and knew the trail would come out at another beach. She wondered how much of this he already knew.
While walking she held out her hand, which he took. One thing she loved was having him around. ~Even if he does drive me a little insane.~ She thought smiling, and knew it was just his way of having fun. ~Fun, insane, yet refreshing.~ She thought not remembering much about the night before. She didn't mind too much though.
After walking around for another two hours they finally arrived to the their next spot. Liz brushed back some vines showing Mike the hidden lake.
"I knew today was going to be hot, but not this hot. I thought it might be a good idea to stay near water, maybe even a bit of swiming," she said smiling. Liz picked out a nice spot for the tent, and put it up before going inside to change into her swim suit.
A few minutes later she came out leaving her pack by the tent, and decided to just get completely drenched. Noticing a bit of a ledge not far away, she climbed up it and ran off tucking. She didn't have much time to get out of the tuck and into a proper stance hitting the water in what she knew humans called a 'belly flop'. She drifted under the water hoping the pain of it would disappear. It didn't seem to want to though, and she resurfaced bobbing over to the edge wondering if Mike had seen that hoping he hadn't.

"My what a lovely swan dive... if it were shot by a hunter." Liz, feeling playful, responded in kind. She flung the lake's water at him. "You splashed me!?" ;D She waited to see what he'd do. "Your turn. Come on in." "Nuh-uh. You splashed me." He said feigning a fuss. Liz was unmoved and continued to push the issue. "Come on, get in. The water's fine." "Nope, not doing it." He turned his head on her. She pleaded him to enter and he played obstinate. "Get in or I'll pull you in myself." She took hold of his pant and he wondered if she were really that serious. Remembering it was her, he relented. "Okay fine I'll do it." He moved off to somewhere private for whatever reason considering there was little to hide from her. He came back out properly suited for the occasion and dived in quite well. What is it with him and water? Liz looked around but he did not resurface. She started to worry. She felt something on her foot. "Eeeee!" She jumped, freaked out by what she felt. Suddenly without warning went her other foot. She shrieked again with a more pronounced reaction. She knew he was messing with her so she went under to find him. She swam around looking for him but was nowhere to be found. Michael hid beneath a rock outcropping out of sight. For a Human he had amazing breath control. He stole out behind her and before she knew it, came up behind her and hugged her. They immediately surfaced as he held on to her. Facing each other with her arms around his neck, he started to kiss on her neck and then she dunked his head under water. He felt betrayed and so he splashed her. She splashed back and thus they went at each other splashing. Michael ducked beneath the water and Liz having learned her lesson, ducked after him. They swam after each other playing an under water game of hide-and-seek. The day had passed by effortlessly and had cooled considerably toward the end. A slight breeze had moved in providing a small relief from the temperature. The two of them, him holding her in his arms, both leaned back, and floated on the water's surface peacefully. "While it would be remiss to say we've become 'acquainted', considering how we were last night, do you regret what happened between us?" [Tag Liz]

He shook her trying to revive her. Unresponsive, he tried again with more vehemence. It worried him. He had come out of his drugged state hours ago. He had waited patiently for her while she rested. He knew from personal experience that her sessions with the Orions were physically draining, to say the least. However, it was time they hatched a plan. He was beginning to believe his captors were serious when threatening how expendable they both were.
She slowly raised her heavy eyelids. Immediately, she wanted to close them again. But there was something about the face that was peering down at her. It seemed very familiar.
“Captain!” he whispered roughly. Her head lolled to one side and he shook her again. “Captain, I need you to wake up!”
Her eyes opened for a moment, rolled back into their sockets, then righted for a moment as she struggled to focus on him. His face was gentle and she didn’t comprehend why, but she felt as if she could trust him. She studied his steely gray eyes and silvery feathers covering his head. “Who are you?” she asked hoarsely.
“Kay! It’s me! Hawk!” His heart sunk. She didn’t know him. He clenched his jaw and sputtered angrily, “What have those fiends done to you?”

She thought about his question. "No, I don't regret it one bit. I do regret not getting to know you better sooner though," she said smiling up at him. She knew the cool air would eventually get to them, but didn't say anything.
A little later they were dressed warmly by a nice fire he had once again started. She found she didn't mind him doing that part. ~I just hope he isn't expecting me to cook him something.~ She thought and let it pass for then.
A the night went on, she once again found it uncanny she was prepared for the evening. She took out a bag of chocolate, which was kept cool in a small bag of ice, a bunch of gram crackers, and a bag of marshmallows. She chuckled and showed her find to him.
"Seems like I had a lot planned, or I just came prepared. I can't remember which," she said as she pulled out two tong like items to roast the marshmallows. She opened the food and pulled out two mallows. Putting them on the end of her tong looking metal stick, she pushed them into the fire. After about a minute she pulled out two mallows on fire and blew them out.
"Now that's what I call a roasted marshmallow. I haven't done anything like this since I was a kid," she said remembering her grandparents often camped outside having fun like this. She couldn't belive she had forgotten about those times, and wished she could remember them all. Knowing it wasn't completely possible then, she vowed to try and remember the fun times she had with her family.
"Okay, now my turn. Do you regret anything we've done together since that first kiss?" she asked knowing it might not get a reply. She suddenly felt young and pretty at the same time, and knew part, if not most or all, of it was because of Mike.

Michael over-exaggerated his thoughts which made Liz slightly nervous, although for the most part she ignored it as part of his humor. Aarons focused his thoughts and recalled everything that had happened up to that point. It was then that he mulled it over in his head.
"Well I think it might have been better if we hadn't gone on that mission and just stayed on board with each other. All things considered though, I don't think we would have made the same development," she nodded along with him. He gazed into her eyes. "I would have to say that the one thing I regret would be... oh, uh pass me a marshmellon would ya'... would have to be our irresponsibility when we-" she knew exactly what he was referring to.
"So you wish you were more aware of what you were doing, huh? I can respect that." He looked at her funny.
"You'd better or these fingers might have to take it personally." She recoiled from him as she feared he might take another go at her.
"Oh no! You've had far too many sessions as it is!"
OFF: There's a joke somewhere in there. Who thinks they can find it?

OOC: Not me....
IC:
Liz shook her head at him and continued with the food. She knew three should have been her limit, but she couldn't help it. She noticed he watched her scarf down one after another, until she stopped eating from being overly full.
"Good thing we aren't swimming again for awhile. I was thinking, and wondered what you thought about snuggling in one sleeping bag," Liz said wanting an answer, but she wasn't sure she should have asked it like that or even if she should have asked at all.
The next day she woke and got ready to move out again. The morning air was way too damp and cold for her liking, and she wondered what happened to the nice hot weather from the day before. ~Must be because of the mountains. Oh well. Another day more fun to be had.~ Liz thought as she packed up. Mike eventually came out of the tent and started to help her.
After about two hours of walking she stopped noticing the heat again. It had gotten hotter, but not hot enough to worry about. She knew what was going to happen today, and smiled hoping he was up for it.
They arrived at the location at about lunch time, and after eating she smiled looking at him.
"Are you ready to start climbing? I thought going over the mountain might be fun," she said hoping he would agree.

TEG had fallen back to sleep very quickly after meeting Ensign Kel. However, it did not calm the images in his dreams. He saw Kay in a large amount of pain, Hawk unconscious, and the planet.
TEG was brought out of his sleep to the sound of his communicator chirping.
"This TEG, go ahead."
"Commander, this is Nik, I think we may have isolated the virus, and can begin tracking the abductor's vesile."
"Splendid. I'll see you on the bridge."
With that TEG dressed and with a renewed sense of purpose, headed for the bridge.

Hawk’s rage grew inside him as he gazed at Kay’s saturated and exhausted body with compassion for her condition. He caressed her temples as he spoke to her softly with reassurance. Hawk hoped she might begin to remember something if he gave her enough time. Problem was that he may not enough time to give before they returned for him. Hawk sensed something close by that could help him when his turn came.
Hawk knew he must do something soon before Kay’s mind was totally gone. Hawk believed that this was the same group of humanoid scum that attacked Hawk’s long time friend Duke some time back. Hawk began to formulate the plan in his head as he waited for his chance to swoop down and strike at his prey.
The Order of Black Tal-Opal was a hardened group of operative rejects from numerous worlds as well as long time pirates. These groups comprised of the Orion pirates/syndicate, Tal Shiar, Section 31, Obsidian Order and the Maquis rejects to name a few. These male and females will stop at nothing to get what they seek. That fact may work in Hawk’s favor if his plan is to work.
