Ridges, Muscles, and Fun

OOC: Thought it would look good to have something going on this ship. Even if it is just two officers doing so.

IC:

Liz smiled knowing he wasn't expecting her. She sat down in Mike's quarters and wondered when he would be back. She wasn't waiting long, and noticed the look on his face when he saw her something she wouldn't forget for a long time coming.

"Hey hansome, long time no see. You been behaving like a good lil boy?" she said teasing him a little bit. They had kept up communications when she could, and she was glad that things hadn't taken too awful long before a compromise was thought of and the silly civil war was over.

She was happy to be home again, and hoped that nothing would take her from it again.

"So, are you just going to stand there, or are we going to have some fun? I think twister or battleship is on the table," she said with a twinkle in her eyes.

"Which game to you prefer?"

OFF: Okay, my face was red even before I read it.

ON: Michael had been out for a while doing God-knows-what. The day was uninteresting and he hadn't expected it to get any better. He was thinking about trivial matters when he walked in and found his favorite subject sitting there.

He was somewhat nervous, his mind racing to recall what he had been thinking last, and it showed on his face, while he was at a loss for words.

There was a twinkle in her eyes.

"Which game do you prefer?"

"Battleship?! Why can't we just make love not play war?"

"So, Twister it is, huh?"

IC:

Liz chuckled and wanted to show off some of her new abilities.

"Well it probably wouldn't be fair in Battleship any ways. Twister is more of luck, and I could be hurt if you landed on me. Perhaps we should just skip the games after all. Why don't you come sit by me?" She said smiling still having a twinkle in her eye.

He tried not to be too quick, and walked over casually sitting down beside her like she had asked. She noticed she had his attention.

"You didn't answer me earlier about being good," she said and wondered if she would just have to find the answer for herself.

"I don't bite honey, you know that," she said and moved a little closer to him. She pulled him even close and placed her lips on his. It felt good to kiss him again.

I missed you so much. I never want to part again. She thought sending them over to him to hear in his mind. She had been studying up, and had learned control over her mind better than most her age.

...She pulled him even close and placed her lips on his. Michael melted as he tripped out over the experience, like some sort of dream, and prayed to the Great Bird that he not wake up. Being there, now, seemed to make that day no longer matter. The overwhelming sensation was just too much.

"Wait, did you just say something about parting?" She looked at him. He felt weird. "I missed you so much. I never want to part again." Where had those words come from?

They kissed again. He rubbed up the back of her neck which she felt was a devilish move on his part; apparently he had been studying up too.

God I love you! To which she thought:

I know.

Liz pulled back feeling really good. "So what trouble have you been causing lately? Don't tell me none I know you a little better than that. Did they ever fix the helm like you wanted it?"

She smiled and started to tease him a little placing pecks on his cheek and lips from time to time.

"I didn't say a word about parting. I did think it though. My telepathic abilities have become a lot better since I've been away. I see you've learned a little something something too," she said blushing as she continue to smile. She knew she was going to be in his quarters for awhile yet.

Michael wasn't about to tell her about how he (or as he claimed an underling) mixed up the wires for forward and reverse on the touch-screen interface.

"Who, me? Why I've been a perfect little Guy Fawkes." ;D
"Who's that?"
"Uh, he dabbled in fireworks."

She started playfully teasing him, which he didn't quite know how to reciprocate, and only encouraged her further. She then began to shower him with bouts of affection in the form of small kisses which weren't good for his ego.

"I didn't say a word about parting. I did think it though. My telepathic abilities have become a lot better since I've been away. I see you've learned a little something something too." Suddenly he was a little nervous about what was going on. He didn't quite know how to deal with sympathetic thought sensitivity and telepathy. How would he think? How should he think?! He became slightly fidgety and awkward. She could sense in him the panic by what can only be described as the color orange. "Calm down sweety. This isn't mind reading, it's just a way to go beyond the limited forms of speech." He mellowed slightly. "And besides... I'm only a beginner." She smiled a reassuring smile as she nudged up close to him. He managed to slip his arms around her then...

Liz was enjoying this way too much and knew not to look at the clock it wasn't important exactly what time it was. She put her head on his chest and smiled up at him.

"So, if you've been good then you are overdue for being bad. What to do what to do," she said teasing him a little more she knew he wouldn't want to cause any trouble unless it was with her and her alone. She also knew things were just getting interesting between them and she hadn't been back very long.

"With all this affection, you must have really missed me."

"Oh I did, I did." He held her close. "There is this one thing I've always wanted to do but..."

"Nothing to do with any fan-boy fantasies."

"Okay, well there was this other thing." He whispered in to her ear sweetly. She made a pensive expression at first before responding.

"Oh, I like it."

OFF: You know, maybe some of the other couples on this thread (i.e. Hawk, the captain, TEG, and Rachel) ought to join in the fun in their own parts of the ship and have a love story/tragedy.

IC:

Liz smiled wondering how long it had been, and then she stopped thinking about that. They were enjoying each other's company something they hadn't been able to do in awhile. She was enjoying this more and more. They ended the night together.

Liz woke the next morning and took a shower. She realized she was in his quarters and couldn't help but smile. Things were amazing between them still even though she had been gone for a long time. She didn't want that to happen ever again. She came out dressed in a fresh uniform and was cooking him breakfast. She looked up as the eggs had started to cook and noticed him smiling.

"Good morning, honey," she said and he came into the kitchen area. She placed a kiss on his lips as they embraced.

"So, what's on the agenda today?"
