"Indeed I will Wolf, I will have them back up shortly, and thanks about the code." John said
John set about unlocking the sensors, "Mcleod, please bring the sensors back online, allow the shuttle to access it" he ordered
(Mcleod)
She did as she was asked to do, and the shuttle once more began downloading, it took around half an hour to complete, =^=Mcleod, please change into cervillian cloths and join me in transporter room 2=^=
John then left the bridge for his quaters, while there he had a very quick shoer brofre changing, just to be safe he slid his comm badge into a concealed pocket on the inside of a jacket which he had sld over his upper body. Having done this he left to meet Ainsleigh in the transprter room.
She was there, John imput the co ordinates him self, and then gave the order to beam over to the shuttle.

As quickly as she'd shut down the sensors, McLeod had them back up and running. Not questioning Roberts, as he knew these people, she put her trust in his assessment of the situation. The ensign at the helm seemed noticeably relieved.
Ainsleigh exited the bridge with John and ran to her quarters to change. She chose her kidskin pants and soft boots, slipping her dirk into the top of the right one. A homespun cotton shirt of high quality with a matching vest completed her outfit. The vest had a built in sheath in the back for a blade which she filled. Her clothes were meant for hard work, easy movement and comfortable.
Quickly brushing her mane of auburn hair, with a practiced hand, a tight French braid appeared taming her unruly mop. A final look in the mirror and she was ready.
Joining John in the transporter room, Roberts set the coordinates and they stepped up onto the pad. Lights started to dance in front of her eyes and the familiar room vanished to be replaced by a visage of a back alley.
John greeted the man warmly as McLeod hung back waiting to see what was to happen.

Savot had just finished explaining the sensor use to Commander Hope who had the Bridge when the Tac/Sec chief John Roberts spoke out, "Commander Savot sir?" John said, watching the view screen.
Unfortunately, the Lt. Commander had spoken just as Savot was finishing his explanation to Commander Hope, so Roberts was left without a response. Savot had heard the officer, and under normal circumstances may have taken the time to avoid any potential interpretations of his actions as rudeness, but there were lives at stake, most notably the El Salvador's First Officer and the vulcan's friend. Satisfied that Roberts would understand when Savot had time to give explanations later, the vulcan began monitoring the sensor connections to make sure the data was getting through successfully to the shuttlecraft en route to Jakob Zimmerman's suspected location before terminating his communications with the El Sal.
*************************************************
(Meanwhile, aboard ship)
John looked toward Anisleigh, who had been watching for a command for a while, John sent a quick private message to her.
"Cut him off and dont allow any outside access to the ships systems" it read
John then began to imput his own codes, so that he, and he alone would have access to them, somthing was going on, and what ever it was, put John, and the El Salvadors crew in danger.
Ainsleigh immediately cut off access to the sensors and ordered the officer at the helm to stand down. Unarmed, McLeod wasn't sure what she could or would do if he didn't obey and made a mental note to hide a phasor under the science station console.
Taking quick readings, she pinpointed the area being scanned and sent the images back to tactical.
Turning to watch the viewscreen she could see the conflicted ensign at the conn, obviously wanting to continue, but paused awaiting further instructions.
As this unfolded around him, Commander Ethan Hope stood near the aforementioned conflicted ensign who looked to him in confusion. Completely dumbfounded himself, Hope looked to the new science Lieutenant and demanded an explanation, "What the heck's going on? You just cut off the Commander."
Before Ainsleigh, who was just doing her duty by obeying the orders of Roberts who was senior to her, could respond Colonel Wolf's voice rang over the bridge talking to Roberts, =^= Wolf to Roberts I need a favor a kind of wierd one. I need you to switch on senors again and down link the information to me. I can't explain but you can contact Commander Savot he can explain better then I can at the moment. Also it might not hurt for you to join me on the surface along with whoever you can drag down with you. Make sure your out of uniform for this I'll explain better after you here okay. By the way nice code would have taken me at least 3hrs to bypass it.=^=
=^=Indeed I will Wolf, I will have them back up shortly, and thanks about the code.=^= John said.
John set about unlocking the sensors, "Mcleod, please bring the sensors back online, allow the shuttle to access it." he ordered.
Ethan, mouth agape, stood speechless at the front of the bridge as all of this took place. Half an hour later, when both Roberts and Mcleod had left the bridge presumably to join Colonel Wolf, he let out a big sigh and did not envy the person who'd be held responsible for interfering with the actions of the Commanding Officer when the situation had been resolved...
************************************************
(Beginning when comms are first cut)
Savot raised an eyebrow as his view of the El Sal bridge cut out and gave way to the standard UFP background. A moment later Sorrak reported that the sensor uplink had just been severed. Savot's brow furrowed in confusion and he went over to Sorrak's sensor console to calculate the coordinates of the El Salvador bridge so he could beam directly there himself and figure out what had gone wrong.
Before he finished, a hail came in from Wolf aboard the shuttlecraft, =^= Wolf to Savot, sensor link restored. You should be getting clear telemetry there as well now. Must've been a short in the ODN circuits from one of those two new bridge chairs being installed. Everything's green now and I'm having Roberts beam down in civies to provide backup.=^=
Savot raised his eyebrow as he listened to the Colonel. The vulcan inwardly applauded him on his well thought out explanation for what had happened, but found the probability of its credibility unacceptably low since he himself had overseen the installation of the new chairs. Still, he would check all possible explanations before taking any action. =^=Thank you for the update Colonel, I will investigate the situation when time allows. Proceed with the operation.=^=
Closing the commline Savot quickly reigned his attention back to the matter at hand, when Zimmerman and Westfield's fates had been discovered, then he'd deal with the bridge mishap.

After the senors came back on line he got in touch with Commander Savot. He gave him a reason why they were off line. He didn't state the trueth because one never knew who was listening in. Not to mention he knew Commander Savot wouldn't press the issue either on a open comm link. Not to mention he knew the Vulcan well enought to know that he wouldn't really by the excuse.
He heard the transporter beam and saw Roberts and somebody else he hadn't met before. After they appeared he smiled at Roberts" remind me to develope a program to break your codes in the future would you. This is Lt Victoria she will be assiting us in locateing Commander Zimmerman. Who happens to be testing some gear for star fleet, the object is to locate him nothing else for the moment. By the way who is this standing next to you if I may ask"

"Chief Science Officer Lt. Ainsleigh McLeod" John answerd
He then fllowed wolf to the front of the shuttle, Ainsleigh followed suite
(Wolf)
"I will contact Svot ehn I have the chance and say sorry for what happened, although he would understand my actions for doing so" John said, with some remourse in his voice

Ainsleigh acknowledged the introductions. Even though the pair were out of uniform it was easy to identify Wolf as a marine by the way he carried himself.
McLeod would have liked a briefing on what was happening, but knew it wasn't forthcoming. Everything about this screamed unauthorized to her. The use of the sensors remotely without any mission report filed with the science department was the first glaring clue.
Somehow it didn't faze the new officer, she was more excited about participating in her first away mission. She may be small of stature, but was quick and agile. Having grown up on a frontier planet, the colleen was very capable of taking care of herself.
She held back awaiting orders and taking her cues from the tactical officer with her.

Looking over at Lt Vitoria he could tell she was not happy about the change of events.
" Dont worry Lt Victoria trust me on this, Roberts and Mcleod can keep a secert. Besides it gives us some back up and more resources to use in out search."
Looking over at Roberts and Mcleod " What I'm about to tell you can not ever be discussed, Commander Savot is aware of the problem and is working it on his end. Commander Zimmerman is missing how and why are unclear. We are on our way to check on a possible lead. Lt Mcleod I need you checking senors for life signs and possible threats perferable to find out if this lead is real before we go in. Commander Roberts your going in with me and Lt Victoria if this pans out. Star Fleet does not want this to be noticed if you catch my meaning. Lt Mcleoud can provide back up if the need a rises."
" I dont mind saying I dont like this, we have very little to go on right now. My main concerns is get our Xo back. Figureing out why this is happening is for Lt Victoria to figure out do not ask anybody any questions if we find something. Leave that to Lt Victoria she'll know what to do with the less we know about certain things the better. Our focus is on the safe return of our Xo any questions"
Looking over at Mcloud " Were you on the Hepta or the Hanson Lt, I know a certain pain in the neck klingon on one of the those ships. He's a pain but good at his job"

The women sat just infront of them appeard to be a little uneasy at John and Mcloed being here, it was almost like she didnt trust them, but why would we, both of them where new faces to her and in such a critical situation John would most likely feel the same
" Dont worry Lt Victoria trust me on this, Roberts and Mcleod can keep a secert. Besides it gives us some back up and more resources to use in out search."
John gave her a reasurring nod, then Wolf turned back to them.
What I'm about to tell you can not ever be discussed, Commander Savot is aware of the problem and is working it on his end.
John just nodded, Mcloed did the same, she was fresh out of the Acad but seemed to have a mature head on her shoulders, unlike some that leave the acad.
I dont mind saying I dont like this, we have very little to go on right now.
John didnt have any, it seemed quite strait forward to him, Locate and get back Kevin. How the hell it got to this point god only knows, but it was time to clear this mess up, and he couldnt help feel people where going to be killed, again.
John noticed the look he recived from wolf and headed to the tactical station located just behinf him, Mcloed didnt follow, she stayed to see what Wolf wanted to say to her. John firt began by scanning the sufacem an unlikely place, so close to the El Salvador and the shuttle, but it was still as good as any place to start.

Westfield administered a fresh shot of painkiller before she picked up her phaser rifle once more. Her small tricorder-styled short-range scanner was buzzing. There had to be at least a dozen people guarding Kevin and Daniel. With a small smile, Westfield hefted a smoke grenade. She took a deep breath before she kicked down the door.
A single black object lay in the center of the room. Two alternating yellow lights flashed. A radar jammer. Air hissed from the walls, faint but certain. Westfield clenched her teeth and fired at the radar jammer. Checking her scanner, she saw only two faint signatures, both moving away approximately twenty meters to her right and two floors up. The Marine raced through the mansion, holding her breath. What kind of gas was it? Was it fatal? Did it really matter if she held her breath?
Bursting through another door, Westfield saw what she needed - a window. She launched herself through it, but even as she fell her lungs were set on fire. Screaming in pain, she hit thr ground at a horrible angle. One of her legs snapped, but instead of remaining still Westfield began to thrash around. Her throat was being burned.
A hundred meters away, Daniel pulled out a small needle. As he brought it to the neck of his final victim, a faint sound disturbed him. Broken glass... the Marine had survived. "Take her out," he snapped.
**********************************************
Victoria kept a calm face, but inside she was boiling. More incompetent regulars would only endanger the mission. A Marine, uncouth as usual, was at least prepared for a firefight. As a member of Black Ops, Wolf was at least reliable. But this... young woman fresh out of the Academy, and that annoying officer who had delayed the mission... The Lieutenant cut herself off. She could mop up any problems after she had retrieved the troublesome Zimmerman.
"...were you on the Hepta or the Hanson Lt, I know a certain pain in the neck klingon on one of the those ships. He's a pain but good at his job," said Wolf.
"Stop talking," said Victoria without emotion. "You have already delayed our mission, and I don't need to hear your prattle. Keep your friends alive, Wolf, and keep them silent." Victoria was the object of multiple glares, but the young woman ignored the other officers as the shuttle dropped toward Europe. "It is probable that we will be engaging a civilian enemy. Everything you see is classified," droned Victoria. "You are never to speak of this to anyone at any time. That includes court-martials, official investigations, etc. Should you choose to do so, I will ensure you are rendered incapable of speaking to anyone ever again. This is not a request, but rather an order. McLeod and Roberts, have either of you been involved in weapons training?"
(McLeod, Roberts)
Victoria almost rolled her eyes, but managed to refrain from displaying her emotions... mostly. "Keep the shuttle in one piece while Wolf and I accomplish our objective. Roberts, wait for my call should we require assistance." She turned to Wolf. "You and I will get in, find Zimmerman, and kill his captors. I have a clean-up squad coming in behind us once we've secured our target. If we find Westfield, our priority will switch to the Marine. McLeod, take the helm."
The young lieutenant picked up her assault rifle prior to approaching the rear of the shuttle. She waited patiently for the shuttle to land, keeping an eye on the other occupants. What a mess...

Wolf was getting angry and he was not hiding it well, the Lt had pushed his buttons. Worse yet she had informed him that it was a hunt and kill mission. Even in black ops that was not allowed, they answered to star fleet. Maybe at one time it would have been considered but not now days. A hunt and kill mission had to have the full support of the federation council he wasn't like this one bit. They had some time before they landed so he wrote down a message on his pad letting Commander Savot know what was going on and his new orders. At the same time he left a message for Roberts and Mcloud to follow him and provide back up.
Looking over at Roberts who eyes held his same concern. " Commander Roberts would you be so kind to send this off to Commander Savot. Its just updating him you have joined the mission make SURE he gets it.
Message: " Commander Savot he we have just been informed that this is a hunt and kill mission. I will not go along with this, I might have to put Lt Victoria down. I will not kill unless there is no other way for us to bring Zimmerman back. Even in black ops we have never been sent on a kill mission with out full support of the federation council. This was a fail safe to prevent anybody from creating a another section 31. Please be advised and watch your back Commander things are not what they appear to be.
Message for Roberts " I dont like this we are not killers by trade, when I leave the shuttle I want you and Mcloud to follow us. If we can get Zimmerman out with out killing anybody then thats how it goes. If Lt Victoria does not seem to follow this when confronting the enemy. I expect you to stun her and take her out. We dont kill unless we have too, I dont mind telling you I dont like this. I want you to take the recording from this shuttle with her orders and transmit them to Savot. Its a just in case to cover our actions. Stay close watch her I dont trust her and keep a eye on our new Lt I'm sure she's not happy with what she just heard either. I dont want her getting hurt. Sorry for pulling you into this but I dont have any back up and I need it as you can tell"
Looking back at Lt Victoria standing by the hatch " Okay Lt we are going in but first things first, " as he picked up his gear and rifle with a special scope attached to it. " I'm a colonel dont you ever forget it. I dont care what section you work for talking to me like that agian and and believe me you wont be happy. Even black ops has enough pull to make sure you learn that lesson. Second Lt Commander Roberts is the tactical officer trained in security and battle operations, he too out ranks you disrespect a member of my crew again and they wont ever find you Lt. You have read my record by all a counts and you know whats there, so dont fool yourself. You know what I can do and how it will go down you wont win on that front. As for Lt Mcloud when we return you will be makeing amends to her for your comments willing or unwilling. Now lets move out, and since I dont know your record your going to take my lead on this if not your staying here." Looking at her he could tell what she was thinking.
" If your hand moves to stun my Lt, I can promise you Roberts will drop you before I hit the floor. That will not accomplish your mission whats so ever and as for hunt and kill. No that doesn't happen either we are going to go in and get him with out killing anybody if at all possible do I make my self clear, now lets move."
He left the spare battle armor for Roberts who he knew would make Mcloud wear it. He also left a tracking device for them to follow them
OCC if some wants to finish up go ahead, if not I'll do it tomorrow when I post again.

Looking over at McLeod " Were you on the Hepta or the Hanson Lt, I know a certain pain in the neck klingon on one of the those ships. He's a pain but good at his job"
Ainsleigh smiled thinking of K'ratek and replied, "The Hepta," only to be cut off by an arrogant Lt. Everything about this woman screamed danger. After her training mission had gone so horribly wrong and the future to which Q had showed them, McLeod knew it was people like Lt. Victoria that had allowed Starfleet to take such a left turn.
The newly appointed Science Officer may have been raised on a frontier planet, but she'd grown up with intrigue disguised within intrigue. Lt. Victoria had shown her true nature in her arrogance and Ainsleigh had no doubt that the woman was capable of "cleaning" up and witnesses, to wit, them.
Wolf wasn't what he appeared to be either, but his speech to the annoyed Lt. had showed to Ainsleigh that he had the best interests of Starfleet at heart. A good judge of character, McLeod instinctively trusted the colonel. She'd caught the look exchanged between Wolf and Roberts and knew he didn't trust Lt. Victoria either.
Taking the helm as ordered, Ainsleigh headed towards Europe and with skill landed the team without so much as a bump. As quickly as the pair exited the shuttle, Roberts tossed her body armour and explained to her that they were going in as backup. While she hurriedly donned the armour she saw John transmit the message Wolf had given him.
Arming herself with a phasor, McLeod still trusted the blades she carried for close, silent, contact work. Following the tactical officer, Ainsleigh set foot on the European continent for the first time in her life, not exactly how she'd imagined it.
Wondering what had gotten the El Salvador's previous science officer in such a situation, Ainsleigh consiously kept her breathing steady though there wasn't much she could do to slow her beating heart.

John began to do as wolf asked by sending the message on to Savot, it didnt take long and he soon gain a reply in which he passed onto Wolf
After doing this, he recived a message of his own from wolf.
After reading it, John looked up and gave wolf the sightest of nodded, he noticed and gave the same nodd back. Mcloed was busy pioleting the shuttle down to some where in europe, it turned out to be in England, John hoped it wasnt to be Manchester, thankfully, it wasnt.
It was a small village on the outskirts of Yorkshire, quite a perfect place for this really, contained in its own little community, very little contact with outer citys or villages. the shuttle landed around a mile outside, mainly so they would keep an element of suprise, but also because there wasn't any where dencet to land.
John got up and heaed for the hatch, where Wolf and Victoria where already suited up, John got some near by armour and suited up him self, then grabed some more and threw it towards Mcloed's position, makin sure it didnt hit her at the same time. He then took hold of a phaser as a side arm, and a rifle, something that had a little bit more fire power if it was to be needed.
After Mcloed was ready to deprat, the four of them left, and began to long trek into the village. It was mostly done in silance, until they reached a point where they stoped, and Wolf gave out a few orders.
(Wolf)
The four of them then continued, scaning each door of each building as they went for lifesigns within the building, most just had normal civs, what was starnge was the doors where sealed shut. "Wolf" John whispered, "What the hell is goin on here?" he ask, Wolf just gave a look to say he hadnt a clue, this wasnt normal for him, he usally had some kind of idea.
They came to what seemed to be a normal cottage type building. Like the others, the doors where sealed tight, but from the clouded windows, it was possible to see several figures, one of which sat down, the rest holding compression rifes of some kind, the foor of them took up positions by the door, and waited for orders of Wolf to move in a storm the building.

It was early evening, oddly the village was sealed tight as though to protect themselves from some unseen evil. This added to the chill of the night air that made her grateful for the warmth added by the body armour.
Keeping one eye on Lt. Victoria and the other on their surroundings, McLeod held her phasor with a skill belieing her years. Grabbing her tricorder with one hand, she quickly took readings on the cottage.
Quietly, "Five lifeforms, one seated, the others standing, Two by the front door, one by the back and one by the seated person."
It was all that she would be able to glean from the readings, so the tricorder was put away and her full attention was once again on Lt. Victoria and the front door. Ainsleigh couldn't help but wonder what had made the young woman so cold. She was a killer without remorse and what made her more dangerous was that she BELIEVED in what she was doing.
The seconds waiting for the attack order seemed to stretch into eternity as she waited....

Victoria's jaw worked as the Marine spoke. She was tempted to simply do the job on her own, but given the possibly large number of opponents, she wanted to avoid a solo operation. Still, Wolf had proven to be the typical Black Ops holier-than-thou-art bigot, who had no idea how Starfleet and the Federation really functioned.
"We are endorsed by the federation council to do anything necessary to contain this," growled Victoria. "If you want to stun Jakob Zimmerman's followers, go ahead. But I will kill him, and if you think for one moment you can threaten me without regard to your personal heath, think again. Just remember that this is my department's responsibility, and you have been invited to assist as Kevin Zimmerman's fellow officers. In case you hadn't noticed, we are all out of uniform. I'll take point, but only because I don't trust and of you to be competent enough. You, Colonel, will bring up the rear, as your friends probably have no idea what's going on."
The trek to the mission site was uneventful, yet Victoria was well aware of the general anger directed at her by the other officers. It didn't really matter - the only one she could ever meet again, and only in the most unfortunate of circumstances, was Wolf - although the situation slowly began to shift and turn in Victoria's mind. The enemy would be shooting to kill. It was likely someone would be injured in the process of retrieving Zimmerman and/or Westfield. Victoria wasn't inexperienced enough to get herself killed. No, given the personalities expressed thus far it was likely that Roberts would be the first to go.
Her earpiece buzzed. =^=We have updated your target area to a quarter-mile to the east. Standby.=^= She adjusted her path accordingly.
After all, Roberts had precious little combat experience and still retained some part of that teenage feeling of immortality. The thought brought a smile to Victoria's face. Immortality. She might not be invincible, but it would take more than a phaser rifle to kill this particular lieutenant... although that had hurt. Victoria absentmindedly brought a hand to her stomach. It had taken days to recuperate after that mess.
Victoria held up a hand to indicate a halt and went into a crouch, slowly raising her rifle. Out of a small batch of shrubs crawled an odd shape. Victoria's eyes could barely make out the humanoid shape. Roberts made a move toward the thing, presumably in an effort to help it, but Victoria stopped him with an outstretched arm. "It could be lethal. Watch my back."
"Who..." groaned the crawling thing.
The young woman bent down to get a closer look and nearly dropped her rifle. "Westfield?" she asked. "Captain Westfield?"
Through her rasps, Victoria could make out a feeble, "Yes..."
"McLeod, Roberts, get this Marine back to the shuttle and fly directly to Starbase HQ," snapped Victoria. "Westfield is our primary target, and she needs the best medical attention asap."
"...Kevin..." sputtered Westfield.
"We'll get him," said Victoria, though if all these troublesome officers hadn't weighed her down she would have simply returned with Westfield. "You take priority."
Wolf looked ready to object, but it was clear that for once their intentions were identical. Westfield was bleeding in several places, including her mouth, which was a very bad sign. McLeod couldn't carry the Marine all by herself, and someone would need to monitor Westfield while another flew her to HQ. Wolf nodded his acceptance of Victoria's orders/requests (depending on one's perspective), and the two officers finally moved to assist Westfield.
Alone now, Victoria and Wolf returned their attention to the cabin. It was less likely now that any Starfleet officer would meet his or her end. Wolf, as annoying as he was, still commanded respect as a capable Black Ops officer. He could at least take care of himself. Neither needed to warn the other about the dangers of rescuing a hostage. They had to be fast, without mercy, and if Kevin Zimmerman got stunned in the firefight, that was too bad. Better to be stunned than to be killed.
***************************************************
"We can't execute him until Westfield is found," mused Daniel. Kevin was fully conscious now. He sat quietly, wondering where his friend was. "To make things worse, we know she's bleeding, and when Starfleet gets here they might locate her before we do."
None of the men and women present said anything. They waited patiently for their leader to resume speaking. He had started to open his mouth when the front door burst open and one of the windows shattered. Against Starfleet regulars Daniel might have stood a chance, but against a Black Ops commando and Lt. Victoria, he was sorely outmatched. Victoria's rifle destroyed Daniel's right ear and rendered him unconscious. He did not see the rest of the raid, but it took mere seconds for Wolf and Victoria to neutralize every human being present. None had been killed, and Kevin Zimmerman blinked in absolute surprise at Wolf and a woman who was clearly not Mallory Westfield.
"Objective achieved, command," said the woman into a hidden comm in her collar. "Zimmerman is secure, and Westfield should already be with you."
**************************************************
Twenty hours later, Quinn and Victoria were alone. "Westfield will be fine," muttered Quinn. "Spin coverage is already complete on the incident in Germany, and we got England covered up before anyone saw anything. The El Salv officers have been sworn to absolute secrecy, and the President personally thanked me on behalf of the council for our efforts."
Victoria nodded, her face once more expressionless. "And my next assignment?" she asked.
Quinn shot her a dark look. "I need you here, Sarah. You've made my job possible." He sighed. "You've got a two week deployment to a location classified to me. Its located in the Gamma Quadrant. See Commodore Harrington for your specific orders. And... be careful. I'm told its a solo mission, and that the last three Black Ops teams were massacred."
A wicked grin flashed on Victoria's face for less than a second, the briefest and sole display of her true, buried emotions ever displayed in front of any Starfleet officer. It sent a shiver down Quinn's back. "One more opportunity for us to phase out the obsolete by proving we truly are more capable," replied Victoria as she walked out the door. "I'll see you in two weeks, Commander."

Ainsleigh and John carried the injured officer to the shuttle. McLeod had basic field medic training so rummaged around the shuttle until she found the medical kit. Quickly taking out a hypo spray of painkiller she rendered the moaning woman unconscious making what needed to be done bearable. As Roberts aimed the shuttle for the nearest Starfleet base she started work on saving this officer’s life.
The woman had a collapsed lung and several major internal injuries. McLeod was astonished that she was still alive, but if she got to the med center quickly enough she would survive.
After Ainsleigh did everything possible she sat back and fought to hold her tongue. All she really wanted to do was ask about Lt. Victoria and black ops. Between her trip to the future, courtesy of Q, and this most recent incident her illusions of Starfleet had been shattered. Ideas of truth, honor, and noble deeds had been tossed on the trash heap of reality.
Not knowing who to trust but her fellow cadets, Ainsleigh set out on a course of action to change the timeline. It was why Q had showed them what was the outcome of Starfleet’s actions today. It would be small at first as she worked to find her way around and gather information, but she was patient.
They’d no sooner landed then a medical team whished the woman away and they were marched to debriefing. It was made easier for McLeod because she’d just gone through debriefing on her trip to the future. There was the swearing to secrecy on oaths made as Starfleet officers and the usual platitudes about “for the good of the service” stuff.
Ainsleigh left with determination. So sooner had they returned to the El Salvador she started training in the holodeck using programs from all variety of fighting styles. If there ever was to be a next time with Victoria, Ainsleigh planned to be prepared.
The ubiquitous “they” had made her paranoid so her first messages to her fellow academy friends were light, unnewsworthy missives. The start of a network was born.

Savot stood in front of a wall-mounted console depicting a tactical overhead view of the area of operations. Hands clasped behind him as he had little to do but monitor and apprise the retrieval team of any change, the Vulcan watched the shuttle’s beacon move ever closer to the purported whereabouts of Jakob Zimmerman, and hopefully the authentic Commander Zimmerman as well. While he was prepared to contact the shuttle if any new information arose, he was inwardly surprised when a text-encoded message came for him from Roberts.
Sitting down at his borrowed workstation Savot accessed the message, =^= [Roberts Forwarding Message from Colonel Wolf: Message Begins] "Commander Savot we have just been informed that this is a hunt and kill mission. I will not go along with this, I might have to put Lt Victoria down. I will not kill unless there is no other way for us to bring Zimmerman back. Even in black ops we have never been sent on a kill mission without full support of the Federation Council. This was a failsafe to prevent anybody from creating another section 31. Please be advised and watch your back Commander; things are not what they appear to be.” [Message Ends.] =^=
Mentally noting with disappointment that the Terran idiom of ‘the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing’, seemed increasingly applicable to Starfleet operations, Savot entered a brief reply acknowledging the report, =^= [Savot Replying to Colonel Wolf via Commander Roberts: Message Begins] “Message received and understood. Our priority remains the safe retrieval of Commander Zimmerman and Captain Westfield if she is found to be present at the suspected location. Attempt to apprehend ‘Jakob’ alive; however, if he is killed you are under orders not to contest the situation in the field. Whatever action needs be taken will be seen to when all personnel are safely returned.” [Message Ends.] =^=
Savot didn’t approve of missions in which team members held opposing goals. He was uncertain as to why Lt. Victoria seemed intent on killing the imposter who had assumed the identity of ‘Jakob Zimmerman’, but the equation at the forefront of the vulcan’s mind was the return of his First Officer and hopefully his friend Captain Westfield. Right now, Victoria’s goal still improved the chances of successfully raiding Jakob’s location, despite it potentially ruining any chance of finding out the reason behind this apparent blood-feud if she succeeded in killing the kidnapper. Savot didn’t want future generations of Zimmermans to have to face this kind of risk in the future, but the immediate logic of the situation was that if Kevin wasn’t rescued there wouldn’t be any future generations of Zimmermans to be at risk in the first place. Placing his trust in the skills and dedication of his crew Savot steeled himself for the final resolution of this unfortunate affair…
***************************************************
Time ticked by slowly, and as the mission clock reached T+ 7 minutes after the shuttle’s landing, Quinn’s HQ received an incoming communication before any shots were fired. As Sorrak moved to punch up the incoming hail Savot watched on the viewscreen as three humanoid figures began departing the mission area, somewhat awkwardly as though burdened by something. The two vulcans and Delacroix all had their curiosity quenched as Roberts’ voice came through over the comm, =^= Roberts to Savot; we’ve recovered Captain Westfield but she’s been badly injured and requires immediate medical attention.=^=
Savot wasted no time in replying as he nodded to Sorrak to make the necessary preparations, =^= Understood Commander, you’re hereby authorized to exceed airspeed protocols. We shall clear your flight path and have medical teams standing by on the tarmac. Savot out.=^= The shuttle had made good progress on its return trip when the viewscreen registered phaser fire within the suspected holdout location of Jakob.
Knowing that ‘firefights’, so to speak, were typically far more brief than they were made out to be in most action holonovels, Savot felt no surprise when the mission report came in within 2 minutes of the initial weapons’ fire. The shooting itself had likely taken less than 30 seconds, but both Victoria and Wolf had enough training ingrained in them to check the entire building chamber by chamber to assure it was ‘clear’ before reporting mission completion. Lieutenant Victoria’s comm signal came in over the secure channel, =^= Objective achieved, command. Zimmerman is secure, and Westfield should already be with you.=^=
Savot gave another nod to Sorrak who established a secure channel for reply, and then spoke, =^= Acknowledged, Lieutenant. Shuttle is confirmed on final approach for landing and med teams are standing by. =^= Having had enough of secrecy, and because it wasn’t really necessary to hide his next orders Savot had the vulcan Ensign patch him through to Wolf’s comm as well without disengaging from Victoria’s, =^= Colonel Wolf, the real Mr. Zimmerman is under your personal care until you return to base. We’ve already dispatched another shuttle to retrieve you including security personnel to ensure the capitulation of the offenders, ETA at your location approximately 14 minutes. Well done, both of you. Savot out.=^=
*********************************************
Commander Quinn re-entered the office shortly after the communication had ended, “I heard we came up green on all objectives. Good work you two”, he congratulated his personnel. Ensign Sorrak responded only with a humble bow of his head before returning to his work, and Delacroix punctuated the moment with an unconcerned semi-yawn as though lives hadn’t been depending partially on the performance of his duty. Quinn rolled his eyes knowingly as he’d been through this routine before, and a small smile played across his lips as he then turned to Savot, “I’d like to thank you as well, Commander. You and your crew were of tremendous help to us.”
Savot accepted the offered handshake, not having as high a distaste for physical contact with ‘emotional’ species as many of his race, “On the contrary, Commander Quinn it was your department and personnel who rendered assistance in the retrieval of our ship’s First Officer. On behalf of the crew I offer you our gratitude. If you’ll excuse me; however, I need to attend to my officers.” Savot bowed his head respectfully as he retrieved his standard-issue briefcase and padd, and was in between the whooshed-open doors of the small office when he turned back to Quinn, “An observation if I may, sir. This mission was a success, and I appreciate the precarious position you often find yourselves in. However, I have yet to experience a situation that is better served by segmentation and deception of allies than by a harmonious entity. Peace, and long life, Commander Quinn.”
****************************************************
What with securing the prisoners and dealing with the, albeit limited thanks to the department’s efforts, local red tape it was 3 hours later when the shuttle carrying Victoria, Wolf, Kevin, and the offenders arrived back at the headquarters. Hands clasped behind him, Savot waited alongside the landing pad and spared a glance for the passing of the prisoners to ‘questioning’ areas before walking up to his two officers. He gave first a nod to Wolf, “Again well done, Colonel. It would seem we can classify this a success overall. Please locate Mr. Roberts and Lieutenant Mcleod and return to the El Salvador, Commander Zimmerman and I will return as soon as the official business here is concluded.”
As Wolf headed off to round up the other two officers, Savot took in the sight of the rather harrowed looking Kevin Zimmerman and, believing he knew his friend’s main concern at the moment, he said without delay, “Captain Westfield has been treated and is in stable condition. The medical staff estimated she would be conscious by the time your own evaluation and debriefing was completed, at which time you’ve been authorized to visit her.” Knowing not only that it was standard procedure to be medically evaluated after an ordeal such as this but also that Kevin would no doubt want to check on his friend Captain Westfield afterwards, the Vulcan set off at a gradual pace towards the medical wing.
“It’s most agreeable to see you alive and well, Commander. Not only would I regret the loss of a skilled First Officer, but I believe your demise would likewise have a deleterious effect on the crew at large as well. As I understand it, you are perceived generally as, ‘popular’ I believe is the correct term, amongst your crewmates”, he said making reference to a time Kevin had said much the same to him after a brush with death, as the two continued on, both having had quite enough 'shore leave' to suit them.

It was all over quicker then people would think possible, then again thats how it normaly worked. He didn't like Lt Victoria she was rash and quick to judge any problem, he was well trained though and it was a fact proven in the field. They had reached ther goal with no loss of life, but he was sure the Lt was not happy with that out come. The reports he had read about this group were starting to prove what black ops beleaved.
He arrived back at the ship after seeing Commander Savot and went to his quarters. He need to send a report with his thoughts off before it was too late. Sitting at his desk he activated his com channel. A few moments went by while it checked for clearance, a face appeared one he knew quite well.
" You assements of this group are confirmed General, Its my thought that they intend to phase us out if possible. They are well trained as good as we are but they are brash, quick to kill with little reguard to what we might learn. I would say that you will be seeing more of them taking over some of your missions. They think since they answer to the council they got a free ride. I would advise caution and let them move on there plan, sooner of later they are going to slip up. They are quick to kill and that will be your ace in the hole, sooner or later there going to go to far."
with that he head to find Robert and Mcloud to see how they were doing.

Having arrived back, John headed for a quick shower. Just a few hours earlier he had been sat in the bar with Mcloed, and then there he was in the middle of a potential situation where any one could have lost their lives, had Lt. Victoria got her way, all of the El Sals crew would most likely be dead by now.
He donned a fresh uniform once more, along with his 2 gold and 1 black pip, and then left his quaters to do a few battle simms in the holodeck, he was in the mood for death and glory, just not the type which involved acctual people dying, that he disliked in almost all circumstances.
Getting there he found a simm already going on, he entered to find Mcloed kitted out in battle armour, and in the middle of quite a fierce battle between her, and several other federation holograms, and several Hirogen on the other side.
John, like the iidiot he was, steped into the middle of the feild of battle and was almost hit, but he said "Computer pause programe".
Mcloed stood up, "Mind if I join you?" John asked.

Totally engrossed in her own world, Ainsleigh was startled when the program paused. Her thoughts cleared and she stood up to face the intruder.
"Mind if I join you?" John asked.
Glad for the company, "Of course, as you can see we are under attack.", she gave him a wink.
If anyone looked closely, the Hirogen commander bore an uncany resemblance to a certain Lt. Sarah Victoria.
McLeod resumed her position, "Computer, continue program," and she yelled to Roberts, "Duck!".
The addition of Roberts had given her side the advantage they needed to win. Ainsleigh was physically exhausted having fought for almost two hours in a house to house battle in this unnamed town, but mentally she felt exhilerated. It was a Pyhric victory with the loss of 3 Federation officers and not one Ainsleigh would care to repeat outside the holodeck.
The pair stepped out, "Care for a drink later?", McLeod asked the Tactical Officer as she unconciously wiped unseen dirt from her uniform.
The safeties had been on, but it didn't stop the bumps and bruises sustained in the battle as she jumped from one hiding place to another or the mark left by the hit her body armour had protected her from. McLeod knew she'd feel this workout tomorrow, but her own injuries had confirmed her need to continue and she'd be back.
Thinking to herself maybe she'd work on hand to hand self defense.
As the pair stood there, Wolf walked up on them and McLeod greeted him warmly. Ainsleigh held the belief that he was the reason they were alive and not collateral damage. She extended the offer of a cocktail to the Colonel, "Care to join us in the lounge?"
Then she gave a genuine laugh at his look and added, "Well, after we change.". It seemed her head gear had done nothing for her appearance leaving her once again with hat hair.

The battle raged all around them, John this time only having his uniform between him and a disrutor blast, wasnt to keen on it. H efelt a little un easy every time he rolled from on place to another, a federation officer fell just in front of him, and john took the oppourtunity to grab his phase sniper rifle. He noticed a near by vantage point, perfect, but it was on there side of the battlefield, not ours, "Cover me!" John shouted, then all phaser fire was covering John as he zigg zagged missing most of the vollying fire towards him. He was hit in the leg, he scremed in agony, even though the safetys where on for some unknown reason it hurt, weather or it was the force of the blast or a malfunction, John thought it best to stop off by sickbay and inform engineering of the incident. John was able to get back on his feet, and took out almost all of the Hirogen, bar one, the hunt leader. He scarpered through a near by forest, most of the federation officers wanted to give chase, but both John and Ainsleigh where exausted. They ended the programe, and agreed to meet up in around 2 hours time, plenty of time then to get cleaned up once more. Just then Wolf showed his face, the three of them stood chatting, and Ainsleigh extened the offer of a drink to Wolf. (Wolfie )

Kevin was overwhelmed by the flurry of activity. The shuttle seemed oddly quiet as he, Wolf, and the young woman sat in silence. As soon as they had arrived, Kevin started toward the exit of the shuttle. A medical officer blocked his path, quickly scanning him before he was allowed off the shuttle. No one else was scanned, but Kevin didn't have the time or energy to worry about that.
Savot was waiting. “Captain Westfield has been treated and is in stable condition. The medical staff estimated she would be conscious by the time your own evaluation and debriefing was completed, at which time you’ve been authorized to visit her.” The Vulcan set off at a gradual pace towards the medical wing, and Kevin followed eagerly.
“It’s most agreeable to see you alive and well, Commander. Not only would I regret the loss of a skilled First Officer, but I believe your demise would likewise have a deleterious effect on the crew at large as well. As I understand it, you are perceived generally as, ‘popular’ I believe is the correct term, amongst your crewmates," said Savot.
Kevin tried to respond, but no words were manifest. He swallowed nervously as they entered the medical wing, a Sickbay larger than any Kevin had ever seen. Somewhere, his friend was lying on a bed, and he had to get to her, check on her condition, be sure that-
"You must be Zimmerman," said an elderly man, grabbing Kevin's shoulder like a vice and walking him to the nearest bed. "Hold still," ordered the doctor. Kevin turned his head to look around, but the doctor stamped his foot and said in an agitated voice, "I told you to hold still! Now look here." A light flashed in Kevin's eyes, but he held as still as he could while the doctor did whatever it was he was doing. Kevin was sure a tricorder could do the job.
"We have another patient coming in from the Geist," said a passing nurse. "Third degree burns, possible scarring."
The doctor nodded to indicate he had heard before he put away the flashlight, ran a quick tricorder scan (which eased Kevin's mind - he didn't want to be given a medical by a technophobe), and then gave his diagnosis. "You seem to be completely normal, Zimmerman. You still have traces of drugs in your system, but those are mostly gone. You also need sleep, as your Circadian rythm is way out of sync. That probably has something to do with the drugs, so I'm sure it will clear up on its own. By the way..." the doctor picked up a small case of hyposprays. "You have insomnia, right? This should help you sleep better at night."
"Thank you," said Kevin, still slightly unsure of his surroundings. "Um... where am I?"
The doctor gave him a queer look.
"I mean, what ship? Or Starbase?" Kevin clarified.
"Starbase HQ, of course," replied the doctor. "Now be sure to check in with your ship's counsellor and CMO. They will both need to give you a clean bill of health. Captain Westfield - though I'm sure it won't be 'Captain' much longer - is in emergency care. She is resting, so don't expect her to say much."
Kevin was already off the bed, forgetting the hyposprays. The doctor shook his head and looked at the Vulcan. "You'll make sure he doesn't forget those, right?"
"Yes," confirmed Savot.
"Bloody kids think the universe is going to end every time someone needs an overnight stay," muttered the doctor as he walked to his next patient.
Kevin entered the emergency care section, but the flood of nurses was difficult to navigate. The young man did his best to stay out of their way, but several shot him annoyed looks just the same. He finally found Kaitlyn, a mask over her mouth and throat. The rest of her body seemed fine.
"She will be fine... physically," said a voice. "But I'm afraid we must sacrifice her career."
The absurd sentence didn't seem directed to Kevin. He looked up in bewilderment, wondering who the officer standing on the other side of the bed was. "What?"
"Your family has been target by centuries by another clan," said the officer, sighing deeply. "If you want our protection - and you've already had it - then we need to sacrifice Westfield's career to be sure that we can completely cover up this latest mess. You will also have a capable bodyguard, should she... accompany you on the El Salvador."
If Kevin had been overwhelmed before, he was completely lost now. "What?" he repeated, clearly not understanding what the officer was saying.
The officer shrugged. "It isn't for you to decide anyway. We've already created the story we need to cover up the incident at your false uncle's house, and I'm afraid Westfield is going to be discharged from the service. Honorably, I should think." The officer did not continue his line of thought. Be glad the Marine Corps and Black Ops are so closely allied. They see us as a threat, while in reality our two departments shouldn't be so segregated. Why does the council bring politics into such secret activities? Shouldn't Black Ops and Public Relations have a single commander? At the least, they should not be so opposed to one another... Kevin was still staring at the officer, wondering why he wasn't saying anything. The officer cleared his throat. "I'm sorry, Mr. Zimmerman. She'll be out of here in less than a day, but if I were you I'd talk to your CO about upgrading your quarters." Leaving the young man utterly confused and slightly red in the face, the officer departed.

Looking at Roberts and Mcloud they were sweating from there work out. He smiled and wondered just how far they got in the program. " I would be happy to join you for a drink, it would take my mind of what happened."
He met them for drinks Mcloud had fixed her hair" I kind of liked the hat hair you were sporting earlyer" Laughing alittle " It would seem that this shore leave was not what we had planned for any of us. Oh well who knows maybe next time we will really get a chance to enjoy our selves. So what do you think of our ship Lt Mcloud? she's a fine ship with heart"

All senior staff were now back aboard the El Salvador, the final 3 days of shore leave upon them. Junior crewmen were allowed to trickle back aboard over the next 24 hours but all bridge officers had been required to return to begin organizing their respective departments in preparation for the next assignment. After delivering Kevin’s forgotten hyposprays to his quarters and sending a time-activated reminder message to his First Officer’s personal console, the Vulcan spent the majority of his on-duty time on the Bridge or in the Ready Room.
He ran several full-spectrum diagnostics on the newly installed stations’ systems with Commander Hope, and when satisfied with their operational effectiveness Savot conducted an inspection of Engineering. Lacking a specific Chief Engineer for the time being, the ship’s maintenance was nevertheless kept in a more than satisfactory state by the junior officers. As he left, the Vulcan exchanged a nod of polite recognition with a young male Klingon engineer. Long ago Savot had nearly died of a wound inflicted by the same officer while a crazed delirium was spreading through the ship effecting nearly everyone aboard, but both had long since put the incident behind them.
On the way back to the Bridge he tapped his commbadge and signaled his Tactical officer, =^=Savot to Roberts. Report to the Ready Room in one half hour. Savot out. =^= The Vulcan then stepped into the turbolift and ascended back to the Bridge to prepare for his meeting.
(This can happen before or after the gathering of Mcleod, Wolf, and Roberts for a drink, whatever works best for you all.)
****************************************************
Savot stood in the Ready Room looking out the one window that every ship commander’s office seemed to have in common, hands clasped behind his back as was his usual ‘casual’ posture. Although he felt no reluctance at the logical and necessary actions he was about to take, he likewise took no pleasure in the situation either. He was spared from further pondering by the sounding of the door chime, undoubtedly signaling the arrival of his officer, “Enter.” The doors slid open to reveal Roberts, who entered the room perhaps expecting the nature of what was to come, perhaps not.
“Stand at attention Mr. Roberts”, Savot instructed after the doors had closed behind the Tac/Sec chief. Though he kept his hands at his back, Savot remained standing as well to take some of the harshness out of his orders. “At 14:27 hours on Stardate 1210.93, the Commanding Officer U.S.S. El Salvador accessed the ship’s sensor array for application to a rescue mission the target of which being Commander Kevin Zimmerman, First Officer U.S.S. El Salvador. At 14:31 hours same Stardate, while still officially off-duty and without sufficient evidence for justification, you ordered the termination of said sensor access via Lieutenant Ainsleigh Mcleod, Science Officer U.S.S. El Salvador.”
The Vulcan didn’t move at all as he stood opposite the desk from Roberts looking at him face to face, “Lieutenant Mcleod, having followed the order of a superior, does not face official charges. You; however, as the officer who ordered the action, are charged with Insubordination and Conduct Unbecoming an Officer. It is my firm belief that your actions were not intentionally malicious in nature, and it is for this reason alone that you do not stand accused of Mutiny and Dereliction of Duty. Know; however, that under the circumstances I would be well within my rights to apply to you all of the aforementioned charges.”
“I am aware of the widely-recognized phenomenon referred to as ‘instinct’ or ‘a hunch’. Innumerable species make use of this instinct to guide their actions and often have irrefutable success where logic would have failed to succeed. However, the concept of Chain-of-Command is likewise widely-recognized and is certainly known by every Starfleet Officer. The commander of a vessel is entrusted with the final authority to act on a given situation. His or her officers can, and are encouraged to, provide their evaluations and recommendations but it is the commanding officer who holds final authority on what action is taken”, Savot continued to stand unmoving across from Roberts as he continued his regulation-required monologue.
“Although the operational delay caused by your actions in this case was easily remedied and had no mission-related negative consequences, they could just as easily have been disastrous. Had we been forced to attempt transporter retrieval of Commander Zimmerman and required split-second telemetry from the ship’s sensors to refine the containment beam and preserve his pattern your actions would almost certainly have resulted in his death. A commanding officer is not obligated, nor do they often have sufficient time, to explain the reasoning behind their orders. Just as a commander must trust that his or her officers will provide their best effort to follow their orders so too must the crew trust that their commander has the best interests of ship, crew, and the Federation at heart when giving those orders.”
At this time Savot unclasped his hands and leaned down slightly to activate the recorder on his desk computer, “Lieutenant Commander John Roberts, as of this stardate and time your file is amended to include charges of both Insubordination and Conduct Unbecoming an Officer. These charges will reflect only on your file aboard this vessel unless further violations warrant adding them to your Starfleet Dossier. Should any further violations of this nature occur you will be charged with Mutiny and transferred off of this vessel to face Court Martial. Effective immediately you are confined to Quarters for the next 48 hours after which you will report for duty and organize your department for our next assignment. If there is anything you wish to say for the record you may do so at this time.”

Ainsleigh had run back to her quarters to shower and change. She noticed a deep purplish bruise developing on her right hip. She'd leaped over a wall, avoidiing enemy fire and had landed hard. Ignoring the minor injury as the cost of training, McLeod pulled her now clean hair back and plaited it down the center in what was known as a French braid.
A final look in the mirror and satisfied with the results, Ainsleigh headed for the lounge. Seeing that she wasn't the first to arrive, McLeod joined Wolf at the table.
Laughing at the comment about her hair, "Not exactly the look I was going for.".
It would seem that this shore leave was not what we had planned for any of us. Oh well who knows maybe next time we will really get a chance to enjoy our selves. So what do you think of our ship Lt Mcloud? she's a fine ship with heart"
Wolf''s words brought so many of her thoughts forward. She'd gone over it a dozen times with herself about what had happened. Each time the conclusion was the same, they'd been correct in shutting down the sensors. The ship had been in port, no missions were officially on the books and as the science officer, no notices of sensor use had been noted. It could just as easily been unauthorized, nefarious use instead of having the Captain's blessings. In the future, she knew she would err on the side of caution again if the situation was the same.
"No, it wasn't exactly what I thought shore leave was," she said simply. Her answer to her thoughts on the ship, "I think it will be a good ship, the senior officer's obviously care a great deal about each other and the crew."
Ainsleigh didn't add that she really wanted to kiss Wolf for being there. McLeod had no illusions about Lt. Victoria and hers and Roberts chances of being left loose ends. Holding her glass up for a toast, "To the El Salvador.
****************************************************** Later she found herself back in her officer finishing up the inventory and overseeing of the resupplying of the labs. Checking off the last of her staff's requests and putting the final touches on the duty roster, she was interrupted by Ensign Amana telling her that the Captain had come aboard.
"Well, I'd best go report in," she told Amana, "Please notify any staff that arrives that I'll be back in my office in an hour.".
Picking up the PADD with her orders, Ainsleigh headed towards the bridge to report in, nervous about meeting Savot in person. She had misgivings about how he was going to perceive her actions, but was prepared to defend her choices.
The doors to the bridge swished open to reveal a tall Vulcan standing over the helm looking at something. Clearing her throat, "Lt. Ainsleigh McLeod reporting for duty.". She waited to be acknowledged and didn't have to wait long. Savot'ss face didn't give his thoughts away, but she felt as though she had been judged and she wasn't sure of the outcome.

"To the El Salvador" each officer said again in unison, beofre setting thir drinks down on the table once more. John was certainly getting used to the whisky.
=^=Savot to Roberts. Report to the Ready Room in one half hour. Savot out. =^=
=^= Aye Sir =^= John said in reply.
They continued there get together for the time John had until he had to report to Savot, he was glad of it, as it would be the first real chance to say sorry for cutting him off from accessing the sensor logs, and he realised soon after he had been a little hasty.
The time passes quickly, as that old saying goes, time flys when your having fun, and John had to leave, he said good bye and left for the bridge, and then into the observation lounge. Grabing a turbolift, he said "Deck one, Bridge" and it soon reached its destication.
Getting off he went straint into the observation lounge to find Savot already there.
From Savots post “Stand at attention Mr.
"Indeed I do sir, first of all, I would not like Lt. Mcloed to be judge in any way to what occured, she was just following orders as you so rightly said, also, I wanted to use this time to apoligise about what I did, I now know my actions where wrong, at the time I couldnt be sure to whether, even though unlikely, you had be compremissed, and there for, I took thoose actions to keep the crew safe." pausing for breath, "I also would like to formaly say sorry for ever douting you Savot, and take this punishment on the chin" John then offered Savot his hand, to show there where no hard feeling, after all, John was used to punishment from his high school days, and was just glad to be A Lt. Commander still.
