Ariennye walked into sickbay headed to the counsellor's office. But before Malley could get to her, she stepped in, the last thing he heard was "Hi Counsellor, can you ..."
A few moments later she stepped out completely soaked from head to toe. She was not pleased, and requested (with no need to be gentle about it) an explanation.
"What in God's name is going on in there?" she screamed at the Doctor
"Lt. Nokomis, we are having a problem with the holo-emitters and transporter system ... perhaps you've noticed" Malley stated far-too flatly.
"Noticed indeed" she huffed and with that she stormed off to her quarters to change.
if you look ariennye you could see she was not in great health she look thiner she look as if she had not gotten any sleep.
ariennye was still mad then she started to have dizzy spells she head back to sickbay she entered sickbay as she was about to say something just as room became to spin out of control she grab the side of head to try to gain control then the world turn black on her as her body colasped from uder her.

OCC- If you read Dr. Parson's post it shows that there is a problem with holo-emitters. The emitters had interfaced with the transporter, and caused his office to change into a simulation of a river, with a real river (thanks to the transporter) which is why you are actually soaked, instead of "holo-soaked."
However by the end of our post, Dunsmore (engineer) and I had fixed the problem, hope you don't mind getting soaked.
PS: Thanks for giving me something to play off of.
Doctor Malley turned around with a start, to see Lt. Nokomis jibbering some-what nonsensically before passing out beside a biobed. He quickly called out two nurses, and they assisted in placing her on the bed. They all noticed how much thinner (and therefore lighter) she was as compared to regulation.
After a series of quick tests, Doctor Malley was able to determine that she had simply fainted due to a lack of food and sleep. He gave her a hypospray to reset her sleep patterns, and she quickly regained consciousness.
"Welcome Back, Lieutenant." the Doctor said. "Thank you, doctor." she replied, slightly embarassed.
"Lieutenant, you are suffering from malnourishment and a severe lack of sleep." Malley said.
"Yes Doctor, that's what I came in to see Parker about." she replied.
"Do you feel that your symptoms are more psychological than medical?" he asked
"To a point, yes" she replied, "though obviously fainting is something you wanna do in sickbay."
Doctor Malley nodded, they decided to call in Doctor Parker.

The holo-emmiters were the least of Luke's problems. Just that morning, a plasma manifold had gone offline, causing Luke to reroute plasma through already damaged systems. He was frantically running around engineering, ordering people, constantly with his toolkit our, making reparations. "Doc Malley to Dunsmore," came Malley's voice. "Go Ahead". "Environmental controls are playing up in engineering, I don't remember my office having sub-tropical plants growing and a samll stream anyway.

Kevin sat in the command chair again, though somewhat more relaxed than any time previous. Habituation was setting in - instead of a constant panic, it was now just the occasional realisation that anything could go horribly worng at any time. And Kevin had stopped worrying about it so openly. Instead of being alert, sitting straight up in the chair, he was more relaxed, like he would be if he were at his science station.
"Sir, we've got a message from Vulcan. Commander Savot's regained conciousness and appears to be on his way to a full recovery," reported the Ops officer.
It felt odd being called 'sir.' Of course, his science staff called him sir, but it was more casual. When in the command chair, the 'sir' felt more formal, more distant. Kevin didn't like that. But he hardly noticed when he heard the good news, and after a quick "Thank you, ensgin," immediately tapped his commbadge. "Bridge to Commander Irae."
=^= Yes? =^=
"Savot's awake," said Kevin, completly forgetting the proper title, his happiness easy to hear at Irae's end.
=^= Good. When's he due to get released?=^= She sounded more excited than Kevin at the prospect of getting her first officer back.
"Don't know, Captain, but it can't be too long." Though Kevin had no evidence to support that, he knew Savot wouldn't want to spend too much time lying down.
=^= Well, this is definitely good news. Thanks for the update, Zimmerman. Irae out. =^=
Kevin had completely forgotten about the command chair.

OFF: Doctor Malley, I am not a doctor. I think Lt. Nokomis came to my quarters to see me before she came to sickbay, unless there is another Parsons on board.
ON: Adam was anxious to get down to the surface and assist the Vulcan authorities in any way possible. As the CTSO finished briefing a small team of security specialists in the security office, he headed out the door and toward the transporter room, his team following.
Parsons reached the transporter room and gave instructions to the transporter crewman for the team of five to beam down to the Vulcan temple. As the Lt. Commander stepped onto the transporter pad he tapped his combage.
"Parsons to Dr. Malley."
"Malley here," replied the CMO.
"I am transporting to the surface with a team of security specialists to assist the Vulcans. As you seem to be the closest thing to an expert we have on these Katras, feel free to join us at your earliest convenience."
OFF: Feel free to comment here.
ON: "Oh, and Doc... please let Lt. Nokomis know she is welcome to join us if she is well enough."

Shortly after Kevin received the information, it was deseminated (sp.) amongst the senior staff. The news was delivered to the Doctor over the Comm from the Captain.
Malley: "That is wonderful news, Captain, Thank you for the update." Irae: "Irae out."
Malley would soon be receiving his debriefing from the Vulcans. It seems XO Savot was almost ready to resume his duties.
Parsons: "Parsons to Dr. Malley." Malley: "Malley here" Parsons: "I am transporting to the surface with a team of security specialists to assist the Vulcans. As you seem to be the closest thing to an expert we have on these Katras, feel free to join us at your earliest convenience."
Malley: "Understood, I'm on my way."
He instructed a nurse to take over, and headed for Transporter Room Three.

Parsons and the four security specialists materialized 1 mile from the ancient Vulcan temple. Moments later, Lt. Nokomis and Ensign Potter followed and Dr. Malley had reported that he was on his way.
Once the team arrived at the Temple via primitive transport, the CTSO found a Vulcan official that seemed to be in charge and approached.
"I am Lt. Commander Parsons of the Federation Starship El Salvador. I am the Chief of Security and have brought a team to assist with the investigation as requested."
The Vulcan responded, "Welcome Commander, I am Sub-commander Varek. I am the lead investigator assigned by the Security Ministry. We would appreciate any assistance you might be able to provide."
"Pleasure to meet you, Sub-commander." Parsons then introduced Lt. Nokomis and the team generally. "Our Chief Medical Officer has some familiarity with these Katras, and will be joining us shortly. Please, what have you learned so far?" Parsons asked.
"We believe the thieves are part of a Vulcan Isolationist Movement that has been growing in strength in recent years," replied the Vulcan. "We have detected transporter signatures that we believe were used in either the infiltration of the Temple or the theft itself. These signatures resemble those commonly used by Isolationist transporter coils purchased through Ferengi intermediaries. However, we are still in the process of gathering evidence."
The CTSO nodded and thought for a second. "Team spread out and scan the area. Let's find some clues." With that the security team went to work scanning the large rooms of the old temple.

OFF: Just a note Adam about that last post, it's my fault for not posting ahead of time but I thought I'd get a chance tomorrow before you went ahead with the beam down. However, the temple completely forbids the use of any form of technology within the temple, and as such would also force beam-ins to transport down 1 mile outside the temple to ride in on primitive transport. Even for this emergency they won't allow the use of technology within the temple, so you'll have to do your investigating the old fashioned way. I'll try and make a post tomorrow as the temple folks to make everything as clear as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Cisco made his way to Sickbay after getting a call from Dr Malley about Lt Nokomis. He looked at his to-do list and realised she was on it.
"Not a good start indeed.... Doctor has my office now been 'fixed'" Cisco asked rather nervously not really sure whether he wanted to hear the answer or not.
"Yes Doctor, you can safely enter without any suprises."
Cisco walked in and saw that someone had left an a PADD on his makeshift desk, he picked it up and saw that it was from Lt Nokomis and she had left only 5 mins previously.
"Everyone's in such a rush, although I cant say I blame her" Cisco said aloud.
"Sorry doctor, did you say something" Malley responded standing in the doorway.
"No, No, just talking aloud to myself. I find it helps me thnk sometimes. Others think Im mad, but I tell them I'll be the judge of that."
"Indeed Cisco"
"I dont suppose you would care to help me decorate. And I have a few cases to bring from my quarters and cargo bay 2. I dont quite trust the transporters just yet."
<Malley>
Cisco: Computer, Arrange a convenient time for Lt Nokomis to come and see me, synchronise with my scheduler. Also request a meeting with the Captain : Hig Priority on both.
Computer: Acknowledged.

Medical Building, Academy Quarter, Ta'Vistar City:
"The restraining field is unnecessary, Mother", came Commander Savot's first waking words since his attack.
The aged T'Leshka, raising an eyebrow almost as if in amusement, but without any of the other facial signs that would suggest such an emotion, walked to the side of the biobed with her hands clasped before her, "My son. Though your prowess list is indeed respectably expansive, I do not believe it includes medical training sufficient to questioning a lead healer's post-operational procedure. However, if it renders your position easier to accept, your Doctor Captain concurred fully with my decision."
Savot closed his eyes for a moment, breathing in deeply, though slowly as his newly repaired left lung was still sore, through his nostrils and releasing it equally slowly, accepting temporary defeat but by no means giving up.
"She is not without considerable skill in medicine. I must presume she is capable as a commander as well, for I recall you had planned not to accept an appointment as any position higher than second officer", T'Leshka continued as she double-checked panel readouts now that Savot was conscious and utilizing more of his active bodily response.
"Captain Irae is indeed a most capable officer. It is difficult to rate her command talent against her medical skills as I have seen her triumph over serious odds in both fields. As to my altering my initial plans, our vessel had gone through severe command difficulty over the previous 2 Terran standard years. I had seniority onboard, and could have sought command if I wished, but I felt that to overcome the tension of the past year a more approachable command figure would be needed to aid the crew in recovering to the normal routine. As Captain Irae accepted command, she needed a reliable First Officer and my experience with the vessel rendered the logic of accepting the position irrefutable", Savot explained a brief summary of the current command structure as he lay there, still restrained by the biobed's force field.
"The Doctor Captain values your support greatly. That much I could sense washing off of her as she aided my surgical efforts. She was; however, surprisingly capable of focussing those feelings to aid her concentration, rather than allowing them to distract her as most emotional beings would."
Savot raised an eyebrow as he turned his head to look upward at his mother's face, "That is unusually high praise from you Mother."
T'Lehska shook her head, "There is no reason to withhold an accurate assessment of someone's skill. However, extended conversation is an unnecessary strain on your regenerated lung tissue. I have other duties to attend to. We will have the opportunity to speak later."
As the vulcan healer headed for the door, Savot spoke, "Given your understanding of my level of rationality, it would be illogical not to release the restraining field and allow me to gradually exercise my new tissue through minor movement."
T'Leshka, tilting her head in acknowledgement of her son's point, pressed a button on the wall beside the door, releasing the biobed restraints with a red-tinted buzz of field particles winking out, and left the room as the door whooshed closed behind her.

"We have detected transporter signatures that we believe were used in either the infiltration of the Temple or the theft itself. These signatures resemble those commonly used by Isolationist transporter coils purchased through Ferengi intermediaries. However, we are still in the process of gathering evidence."
The Sub-Commander continued, "Additionally, I regret the inconvenience to your investigatory methods, but all of your technology must be left here at the entry desk. I recognize the celerity with which your search would proceed if you were able to use your scanning devices, but tradition demands that no technology, however well-intended, be used within the Temple. Even your communication devices and weapons must remain behind."
Parsons, being a Tactical officer, wasn't too comfortable about having to leave his phaser behind, and overall it just seemed kind of, well... illogical, not to use the most efficient way of investigating the area. However, being the most senior officer present at the time, he was representing the Federation on this case and so chose to abide by the traditions of the Vulcans in this matter, whether he agreed with them or not.
As the security team handed over their equipment, a young robed female entered the Monastery, looking slightly paled and held her face tight as though from exertion. Sub-Commander Varek noticed her arrival and gestured toward her with a hand, "Commander, this is Initiate Saevalis. She not only serves within the Temple but is in training to tend the katra crystals within the Hall of Ancient Thought. Her comparatively recent addition to those with access to the Hall renders her the least likely to be involved with the theft. She will render whatever assistance she can in the investigation."
Saevalis bowed her head to the El Salvador's Tactical chief, "Greetings Commander. I welcome you to the Kolinahru Monastery though we of course regret the circumstances. If all of your devices have been turned in, please follow me to the site of the theft." Her lips closed tightly together from the exertion of her speach, and she breathed deeply afterwards to recover.
As the team walked through the corridors, massive stone archways led into branches of different areas, some lending glimpses of rich gardens of exotic looking plants, others leading into small barren rooms for the focussing of one's mind. Saevalis continued to give what evidence they had as she led the team to the Hall, "We are working to discover precisely which katras were taken, but it appears those responsible took the time to alter the location of many of the crystals, thereby rendering identification based upon the emptiness of a given alcove impossible. In order to determine which were stolen we have masters melding with each of the crystals to ensure correct identification and relocation into their proper alcove, however this could obviously take a significantly large amount of time. Statistical probability favors the odds that you may not know which crystals the thieves have taken until you recover them. However, under observation by myself and some of the temple guards, you will have free reign to investigate what you wish of the Hall. Please do not attempt to remove anything without consulting me beforehand." Saevalis finished as the team walked down a massive set of stone stairs, through a grand archway probably 15 meters in height, and at least 5 in width. The vulcan girl spoke again, standing at a side of the arch and gesturing inward with her left arm, "Welcome, Federation, to the Hall of Ancient Thought. No off-worlders before you have been permitted within this structure. We trust you will not betray the honor of this exception, and give you leave to begin your investigation. Inform me if you require any assistance."

OFF: Thank you, Commander Savot, for clearing that up. You wrote my response much as I would have.
ON: Parsons tried not to show his frustration with leaving every piece of equipment that had any hope of aiding the investigation behind. Several of his security specialists were also noticeably perturbed. The team had now fanned out and were manually searching the chamber housing the crystals/katras.
This was going to be a long tedious process. The CTSO called Lt. Nokomis over, "Lieutenant, please return to the entrance of the temple and wait for Dr. Malley. We are now going to need his expertise more than ever. Also, Lieutenant, please contact the Captain and let her know we would benefit greatly from Commander Savot's presence as well, once he is well enough."
"Aye Sir," said Nokomis as she headed toward the Temple entrance.

[Vulcan]
Shortly after the team arrived, Doctor Malley beamed down to the designated co-ordinates.
"I am Doctor Malley, Chief Medical Officer of the U. S. S. El Salvador. I believe Commander Parsons has informed you of my impending arrival."
The Vulcan responded, "Welcome Doctor, I am Sub-commander Varek. I am the lead investigator assigned by the Security Ministry. From what background does your familiarity with katras originate?"
"In all honesty, my "familiarity" is limited entirely to the realm of research. As a species, Vulcans are not always open to discussions of such a cultural nature. At best, my knowledge of katras is somewhat one-sided." he replied simply
Doctor Malley enquired about Savot, but was informed that he was completely unavailable at the moment. Knowing all-too-well that a course of action that has been chosen by a Vulcan is unlikely to be altered simply by asking "Please."
"Perhaps you would like to rejoin your shipmates." the Vulcan enquired.
Doctor Malley agreed and was taken to the Hall of Ancient Knowledge.

OFF to Adam: Sorry again for the inconvenience, I'm glad I got your response fairly accurate. I always hesitate to do too much with another player's character as I know how annoying it is to have someone portray you incorrectly.
OFF to Malley: I apologize profusely Doctor, but I'm afraid you'll need to edit out the parts of your post that include Savot, as he would not be allowed either visitors or any information on the current crisis at this time. Healer T'Leshka runs the Medical Building and feels that Savot shouldn't be aware of the current crisis b/c if he did he would push himself harder than his newly-recovered wounds would allow, which is why she didn't tell him about the katras herself when he regained consciousness. This is my fault for not specifically stating in a post that he would be unavailable, I just didn't expect anyone to post going directly to him without at least asking the hospital if he could be visited. My apologies for the inconvenience and I'm at least glad it was a short post and not too much to revamp. I'll try to provide more detail about such circumstances in the future.

"You wanted to see me, Cmdr?" Malley asked Parsons.
"Yes Doctor, I will need you to take a look at this item, here" he started.
"But first I want you to go back to the beam-in point and contact the ship. See if you can get a team of archeologists to come down. Tell them to forget their tricorders." he ordered.
"Aye sir," Malley responded and headed out of the temple. He passed SubCmdr Varek on his way out, and told him that he needed to contact his ship. Varek followed him out to the beam-in point and provided him with his communicator, then walked back towards the other technology.
"Ensign Malley to Commander Dunsmore" Malley asked.
"Go ahead, Ensign" Dunsmore replied.
"Commander can you come down w..." he paused, "Commander?"
He looked toward Varek, who looked over with equal curiosity, and approched him.
"SubCmdr, we are outside of the technology-free area, are we not?" he asked.
"Yes Doctor, is there a problem?"
"It seems we cannot contact our ship ..." he stated.
"We are also having problems with our communications, perhaps you can wait a moment and try again." Varek replied.
"Perhaps I will, however I must report the fact to our team leader Cmdr. Parsons." Malley said.
Varek took his communicator and they returned to Parsons and the others in the Hall of Knowledge.

As the team members looked around throughout the Hall of Ancient Thought, Saevalis was off speaking with some of the High Priestesses who were melding with the crystals that had been left behind to try and determine which ones had been taken.
As they reviewed their findings thus far, a terrible scream burst from the lips of a priestess, as she was flung violently backward from the crystal she was melding, hurled into the rocks and fell to the floor of the Hall, limbs twisted at unnatural angles, and green blood dripping from her nose, ears, and even eyes. As those nearby moved hastily towards the body, a symbol seared into the forehead of the dead priestess. The Vulcans around her body, a few with over a century of intense mental discipline, became pale at the sight of the mark.
As Adam ran to the site of the disturbance, Saevalis met him, her face ashen and tense with a barely contained grip of fear trying to surface. Taking a deep breath and closing her eyes to attempt to re-center herself, she spoke, "Commander. We now know the identity of one of the stolen katras. Sudoc, a fierce military leader from before the Time of Awakening when Surak's pacifistic teachings prevailed. Sudoc may possibly be the most powerful psion in all of Vulcan history. There is some evidence to suggest that it was he who originally created the Stone of Gol, the psionic device capable of using a target's own intense emotions to destroy them. Your Federation's Captain Jean-Luc Picard assisted our people in recovering the Stone itself. We are sending someone to it's secured location to verify that it has not been stolen as well. We do not believe it likely that those responsible attempted to steal the Stone, however."
Parsons narrowed his eyebrows as he listened, "Why not?"
Saevalis swallowed slowly, then lifted her chin and straightened her posture as though to protect herself from the very words she would speak next, as though the very uttering of them could cause harm, "Because, with the katra of Sudoc in their possession, if he is in fact the original creator of the Stone, whoever could successfully meld with the katra crystal could learn to create one of their own. Also, though it would take a priestess of unheard of skill and power, if those responsible for the theft were able to find a living body that could contain it... they could transfer the katra of Sudoc back into a conscious body... and he would live anew, able to use his physical and mental powers against our universe, and render it asunder..."
