Wolf: Arrived on the bridge a fews min's before the councilwoman Zarice and listened to Comandor Savot report and interduction of the councilwoman still dealing with the issue's for his first mission and maybe over reacting just alittle. Wolf walked down and stood a few pace's from the captain watching everying that was occuring. He knew he was being alittle over protective of his captain but he rather get yelled at then have something happen.
Wolf: Stood far enought back not to be in the way but close enought in case something happened to beable to respond. He did notice the look the first officer was giving him, but he didn't care a mairne's first duty was the protection of the captain at all cost. Even though the mission was about over and Councilwoman had given no sign of anything but thankfulness he was not going to take anychance's.

*After Deis and Zarice had exchanged both greetings and relief over the success of the mission on all fronts, the Councilwoman excused herself from the ship to transport back down to the Capital in order to supervise the preparations for the celebration in the El Sal crew's honor.*
*Turning back to take her seat she was looking straight at the nearby Mr. Wolf. Grinning slightly to herself at the Marine's stalwart attention to duty, she spoke* Thair somethin' I can be doin' for ye Marine? I appreciate yer zealous attention t' me safety but yer not aboard as me personal bodyguard. Ye stay ready t' spring like that all th' time an yer likely t' snap in two.
<Tag any Wolf reply>
*Smiling to herself again at the relatively new officer's by-the-book dedication, Deis took her seat then. As she'd been gone such a long time, she was more than happy to man the bridge until the time came to receive their accolades from the Corinians.*
*******************************************************************
*Arriving back aboard ship after the ceremony, Deis found herself almost embarassed at the honors they'd been shown. She supposed it made sense though, it didn't get much more life-and-death than the potential destruction of your whole planet. Her First had been stoically professional as per the norm during the whole thing, and had gotten a little bit extra congratulations from Councilwoman Zarice since he had taken care of things almost through the entire process. Not for the first time Deis was glad to have the vulcan at her right hand. Despite his preference for non-command positions he'd performed excellently during her emergency mission, but both she and Savot were glad she was back to resume command.*
*As everyone took their stations to break orbit, the bridge looked fuller than it had since she could remember, and even now they were headed to pick up a helmsman to round out her senior staff. True, they still had no counselor per se, but disregarding alien-induced hallucinations the crew managed to keep themselves fairly together mentally.* Al'righ people. We're headin' back t' the Assailant t' pick up the new pilot, and maybe have a brief stop off before gettin' back to it. If so I'm sure we can count on ye t' watch the bridge in our absence Kevin, as ye've gone an' taken yer vacation early. *Grinning in the direction of her recently-recovered Science Chief, Deis chuckled inwardly as she turned to face the viewer without missing a beat.*
Helm, break orbit an' set course for Starbase Assailant, Warp 4. Engage. *The navigation officer on duty did as ordered and the Prometheus class vessel turned majestically away from Corinian IV before shooting off into the depths on a course for what was more or less, 'home'. When the manuever was finished the helm reported,* Course plotted and engaged Captain. ETA at Assailant is 15.7 hours.
(off: Finale was dragging a bit so went ahead and wrapped it up plotwise. If anybody's dying to post their actions of before/after the honors ceremony feel free, an' Ethan if you get the urge to describe the thing itself go for it as they're kinda your bailiwick, but it's not necessary if you don't have the time. Put any further posts here for the time being, may put up a new thread for when we're stopped at Assailant, if it seems worth it to.)

wolf: Looked as his captain when she spoke to him.
Thair somethin' I can be doin' for ye Marine? I appreciate yer zealous attention t' me safety but yer not aboard as me personal bodyguard. Ye stay ready t' spring like that all th' time an yer likely t' snap in two.
Wolf: Looked at her he felt a little lost for words but figured he should make sure she knew where he stood. " Captain you might be right about being wound up like a spring. I mean no disrespect. I'm sure you are quite able to protect your self. ...... But I have seen things change in a heart beat from good to bad. So if its all the same to you I will always be on guard when some one that I dont know wants to talk to you. I will always obey your orders with out question but when it comes to your saftey that falls to me as well as your first officer. The saftey of the ship and its captain are my first responsablity's and will always be so." holding up for secound " Not that I have a doubt in my mind that you couldn't handle your self in a fight but thats suppose to be my job after all you get to run the ship I got to have something to worry about"

With less than an hour before the El Salvador's arrival at Starbase Assailant, Savot tended the bridge alone. The Captain was taking time to get her belongings unpacked and catch up on the ship's reports from her absence, and the remainder of the senior staff had been off-duty for the most recent shift. Chief Sandage had earned himself a rest with the long hours he'd put in during the repair work while Kevin had been settling back into shipboard life. Captain Wolf had only let himself relax from his protective vigil over Captain Irae after she had retired to her quarters.
Checking the chronometer, Savot tapped the intra-ship comm system on the arm of the center seat, =^= Bridge to all senior officers. Estimated time of arrival at Starbase Assailant is 45 minutes. Report to your bridge stations within one half hour to begin approach procedures, Bridge out. =^=
********************************************
With roughly 20 minutes left before the end of their journey, nearly all of the bridge crew were settled at their stations awaiting the final approach to Assailant. Savot stood now in the center of the bridge, despite the fact that Deis had yet to resume her position in the center seat. With his arms clasped behind him the vulcan addressed Lieutenant Commander Hope at Ops, "Mr. Hope, upon our return to impulse power hail the Starbase personnel office and inquire as to the status and location of Commander Gonto."
As Ethan expressed his acknowledgement, Savot turned his head towards Wolf who was currently manning the Tactical station once again until Adam arrived on the bridge, "Captain Wolf, I believe you were interested in performing some training drills for members of the senior staff. As our situation is no longer immediately critical it should be feasible to do so after our resupply at the Starbase. Present a report of your intended drill parameters to either myself or Captain Irae as soon as you're ready."

A much-better-rested Judd stood at the Bridge Engineering station, checking the systems necessary for docking. The El-Sal was ticking over like a Swiss watch, and Judd took quiet pride in the efforts of himself and his Engineering staff for keeping it that way. He hoped that there would be time for a bit of R&R at Assailant before the next mission, they had all earned it.

Wolf: Walked over to the tatical station to pick up his data pad. On it was the schedule of battle drills. He wasn't sure if he wanted to run them just yet, after all the crew was back together again and it had been a hard mission. Still he needed to know where the crew stood on ground tatics and hand to hand combat. Looking at commander Savot and feeling alittle sad for the crew he knew they wanted rest. He also knew that problems could come up where the crew wouldn't get rest and that was what he needed to know where are they at now. Walking over to commander Savaot " Sir I want to run combat drills as soon as possible, I want to know what the crew is capable of right now with out any rest. I would like to have them report to the holodeck for a endurance test on the obstacle course and finishing up in the combat circle with me. I wont over tax them but I need to know how far they can go on short notice with little rest. I wont hurt anybody or push them to hard first time through the course will consist of a 8 mile run through rought terrain where I will face them in the circle. All they have to do is throw me out of the circle and there done." <Tag Savot>

"Mr. Hope, upon our return to impulse power hail the Starbase personnel office and inquire as to the status and location of Commander Gonto."
"Understood Commander," Ethan responded as he turned his attention back to his console. It had been a few days since they had left Cornian and Ethan was glad that he was able to visit with his longtime friends. The festival that Chancellor Zarice had set up for them was fantastic, he couldn't remember having as much fun.
As Ethan was carring his orders he couldn't help but overhear the conversation that Commander Savot was having with Captain Wolf. He winced when he heard the words drill and senior staff, but he made sure to show his displeasure.
"Commander Savot, the station is sending us the whereabouts of Commander Gonto," Ethan reported and waited for what was to come.

Parsons was now on the bridge per Savot's instructions and sat patiently at the tactical station conducting some routine internal security scans.
Overhearing Savot's conversation with Wolf, Adam thought to himself how much he hated running. A phaser exercise was fun, but running just seemed like work. Parsons pushed those thoughts aside and reminded himself how important it was to stay in top physical shape as a Starfleet Officer and especially as security chief.
Parsons sent out a message to all security personnel advising them that part of their stop at Assailant would include drills led by Mr. Wolf. Most of Parsons staff were fit and well trained, but he knew they could benefit with additional training from an experienced Marine officer.
