Judd nodded. "Yes sir, seeing as how I just got her and all, plus I think I had just about as much shore leave as I can handle for awhile after graduation, so I reckon I'll stick around and get to know my new best girl here," he concluded with a grin and a glance around. "Looks like y'all had a little rough goin' before comin' in for a pit stop. Is that sort of a regular thing 'round here, Commander?"
"Each mission is different, Lieutenant. We never know quite what to expect, and must be prepared for anything. I'm sure our adventures will keep you on your toes. They have certainly kept me on mine," Parsons said with a smile and headed off to inspect the rest of the ship.
The CTSO ventured onto the station a couple different days. On the second such occasion, he heard the announcement from Savot for all personnel to report aboard with in an hour and a half. Adam finished what he was doing, and headed back to the ship.
Once on board, Parsons busied himself with accounting for his department personnel as they came aboard. The CTSO sat at his station on the bridge with the First Officer.

Everything had succeeded 100% in the computer core re-format, and all previous El Salvador memory files had been transferred back without error or corruption. Captain Irae had thanked the Bynar team for their assistance and seen them off as they left by airlock to the Starbase.
Sitting now on the bridge, Irae looked around at her gathered officers, returned to their respective duty stations following the nearly week-long stint at Starbase Assailant. For the first time in months, the El Salvador was operating under complete system efficiency. With luck, it would be a long while before another repair stop was needed.
Irae lowered her chin in the direction of the viewscreen, "Mr. Hope, detach umbillicals and retract airlock conduits. Helm, prepare to engage 1-quarter impulse on my mark."
The crew, eager to be back out amongst the stars doing what they do best, attended to their launch duties at once. Upon receiving confirmation of launch prep from her crewmen and clearance from Assailant, Irae gave the word, "Engage impulse engines, go t' Warp 3 once yer cleared o' the station."
The once again pristine vessel glided slowly out of the station's docking port, the station lights trailing across the hull as the El Salvador pushed out towards the blackness of space. Finally, the quad-nacelles had cleared the port completely, and the vessel responded to the commands of the helm station by turning about aiming for a clear course into space.
Captain Irae stood from her seat, addressing the bridge, "Senior officers, report t' the conference room in 10 minutes for mission briefing. We 'ave a two-fold assignment ahead of us."
As though punctuating the end of her statement the ship burst into warp at that moment, soaring through the near-vacuum of space on its way to another assignment.
OFF: This ends this thread as we have left the Assailant now, and the new thread, Piracy and Plague, will be the mission thread for this go round.
