Savot had been the last one to enter the briefing room before the Captain, as he had taken a kind of mental roster of each senior officer as they reported in and entered. Captain Irae arrived shortly thereafter with roughly 20 seconds to spare on her 20 minute deadline. Sitting down at the head of the table she got right down to business.
"Afternoon gentlemen, as ye've all no doubt noticed and some may have heard, Commander Parsons will not be with us on this mission as he's been selected for an advanced command training program. Tis a shame he had t' leave without a decent farewell but he knows our best wishes go with 'im", Irae then faced the new arrival, "An' on the subject o' roster changes, I'd like t' welcome Commander Travor Gonto who's joinin' us as our helmsman. With luck we'll 'ave time for a welcome that's less short an' sweet later but fer now we're on the clock people. Mr. Savot, please present the mission details."
The vulcan nodded a silent acknowledgement of the orders and tapped a series of buttons on the conference table in front of him, bringing an the image of a planet to each officer's personal console before them, "We have just become aware of a dire situation on the planet Jevon 2. The planet is home to the Federation's most prestigious psychological research and rehabilitation center in this sector, and it seems a hostage situation of a highly unstable nature has arisen therein."
Savot hit another series of buttons, shrinking the planet down to a smaller window within their image screens and brought up a large closeup of a distinguished looking human male of caucasian descent, "The man depicted here is former starship Captain Randolph Philips. He is among Starfleet's most highly decorated officers, though unfortunately the majority of his dossier is so clandestine in nature that very little of his career is available to anyone below the rank of Admiral."
The First Officer then shrunk that image as well, bringing up a brief bullet-point report regarding the man, "Captain Philips has been a patient at the Jevon 2 facility for the past 5.72 years as a result of what his record identifies as 'Mission-related Traumatic Stress'. The record states that shortly after a memorial held for those of his crew lost during their last tour of duty, Captain Philips lost control and became a danger to himself and those around him. Thus far, his file at the facility shows no history of difficulty during his hospitalization."
"However, for whatever reason he has become active and highly dangerous within the past 24 hours. It would seem that he broke free of his quarters during yesterday's medication rounds following the patients' breakfast. Captain Philips is an especially combat-proficient officer and quickly subdued and disarmed the guard who accompanied the nurse on his rounds. His mental strain and years of inactivity have not dulled his skills; unfortunately, as the last visual confirmation from within the facility confirmed his being both armed and in control of the building's central operations office with the facility's head supervisor and at least 6 staff members restrained", Savot then called up some technical data on the facility's full compliment of patients and staff, "However, from that control station Captain Philips is capable of harming or killing the entire 263-person compliment of patients and staff."
"Captain Philips, having been a man of battle, and visualizing himself a cripple of sorts within this facility, likely has no hesitation at facing his own death and as such may be impossible to deal with rationally in order to secure the safety of the hostages", Savot turned to face Wolf, "Major Wolf you will be tasked with formulating and leading a breach of the facility with the primary goal of securing the hostages' safety and secondarily the safe capture of Captain Philips. You are; however, authorized to use lethal force against the Captain should you judge it necessary to protect the hostages."
Bearing a seemingly endless amount of bad news, he brought up yet another image, this time of a Defiant-class vessel, "Additionally, this vessel, the U.S.S. Fury was Captain Philips' former command during the Dominion War. Following the capture of the Cardassian homeworld it was seconded for auxiliary duty as a system-patrol ship as Starfleet lacked the resources to fully repair all of the vessels damaged in that last battle. The chief psychologist's report on Philips states a belief that the Fury's decommissioning and the separation from the surviving members of his crew was what caused the initial 'fault line', if you will, within the Captain's subconscious. After that, the day-to-day strains of a Captain's responsibilities could very well have been all that was necessary to fracture it completely."
"To the point; however, the Fury was reported missing from the shipyard she'd been assigned to 10 hours ago. Three members from Philips' original command team have also turned up AWOL from their current duty assignments. Times vary as the shifts they were assigned revealed their absences at different intervals, but it would seem safe to assume that these 3 incidents form a pattern, not merely a line. It's possible these officers may have somehow, either prior to or after the escape, gotten word of their former Captain's situation and hijacked the Fury in an attempt to aid him out of long-standing loyalty", Savot then shrunk all the windows to the same size, leaving them open to individual controls so each officer could bring back up whichever ones they wanted to review.
"Needless to say, an unstable being returning to the helm of an offensively respectable starship is no more desirable overall than having the center's people at risk, but if no ground-based solution presents itself we will allow him to board the Fury if it arrives in order to deal with him ship to ship and reduce the number of innocents at risk", Savot then sat back in his chair, his hands clasped together steepled on the edge of the conference table. "I presume there are questions, and though our information is, as stated, limited, I will provide as much as possible."
<Tag everybody. Sorry for the huge length, the background explanation ended up longer than I imagined originally. Questions about Philips and his crew specifically will be difficult to answer right away given the confidential nature of most of their missions, but technical things about the ship/planet/clinic and such I'll do my best to provide straight away.>
<Update: Forgot to start a new thread with the mission briefing so I've copied the briefing and done it here.

Wolf: Sat and listend to Commander Savot he didn't like what he was hearing and something about the whole thing didn't sit well. He had pulled his share of assingments that were classified for star fleet. If it had only been the captain he wouldn't have worried about it but to have 3 more officer's from his crew aslo steal a ship to come get him. There was something they weren't being told.
"Commander Savot I'm sure you already have noticed the pattern forming here. But I still need to ask what aren't we being told. I mean do the math how do 3 more officer sacfrice the careers and steal a ship to come and get there captain. It doesn't make sense. Loyalty aside it doesn't add up. Can we get any information on there last mission maybe there something in there that might explain why. I aslo have to add looking over at his captain I'm not happy with the idea of shooting a star fleet captain if it comes to that"<Tag Savot>
Looking around the room trying to figure out who he was going to select to go the mission. He looked at his captain, thinking maybe he should take here maybe a captain to captain talk might end this or at least get them more information. He would address that later still looking back at commander Savot and waiting for a reply.

Judd shifted uncomfortably in his seat as he listened. Sure, people in Starfleet ocasionally went space-happy; frankly, he was amazed that more captains didn't flip their lid, considering the pressure of all that responsibilitywhich came with their rank. But something that Wolf said rang true. One person going mad could be understood. But the report that the aforementioned Starfleet Captain's former ship had suddenly gone missing, along with three members of his former crew, had a distinctly smelly odor to it.
Talking this Captain Phillips out of whatever he's got planned might be possible; fending off a Defiant class vessel, on the other hand, might prove to be a problem. "What do we know about the three people who appear to have stolen the Fury?" he asked. "Because if they're even halfway good at their jobs, we'll definitely need to consider using the MVA mode, considering that we'll be taking on a ship that just about matches us in firepower, and maneuvers like a fighter."

I aslo have to add looking over at his captain I'm not happy with the idea of shooting a star fleet captain if it comes to that", came Wolf's reply.
Savot tilted his head slightly giving the Marine chief a nod as he spoke, "A quality that will no doubt serve you well in crew evaluations." Referring to Wolf's hesitance to shoot a Captain.
The vulcan continued, "Though we are as yet still without sufficient clearance to receive any additional data on the crew or their mission history, we intend to maintain our attempts on that front. However, I share your disbelief at the chances of the pieces falling into place as suggested. The very fact that Philip's former crewmembers are still active Starfleet officers strongly suggests that their routine psychological evaluations have been within the accepted parameters, which we all know are stricter for personnel known to have been in situations of high emotional strain. My personal belief at this time is that their disappearance and theft of the Fury are not part of a rogue effort to join Captain Philips, but rather an attempt to calm their former leader and regain control of the situation without him coming to harm."
Savot then turns to Judd in response to his comments, "However, given the threat ratio if they are indeed rogue, we must be prepared to face that eventuality. Should combat ensue our advantage will lie in 2 primary areas. First, despite its size even a Defiant class ship will be difficult to control to its optimum performance level with only 3 crewmen. Secondly, given its position as a patrol ship the probability is low that they will be outfitted with a Defiant-class vessel's standard weapons compliment. These factors strengthen my belief that the officers in question seek merely to present Captain Philips with a familiar, potentially calming atmosphere in which to bring him under control. However, as there can be no guarantee at this point we cannot count on this and must be prepared to address the situation entirely on our own while considering the Fury a potential opponent."
Looking down at his console and entering a brief series of commands Savot spoke again, "We are currently 3.7 hours from Jevon 2. Given the time the Fury was noted missing, the last reported state of their engines, and their point of origin, their window of arrival ranges from 2.85 hours following our own... to 43.7 minutes prior."

Ethan couldn't really make up his mind regarding the three officer's who had gone AWOL. He understood Wolf's belief that loyalty could go so far, but Ethan was sure that some of his mother's crewmates would do anything to help her. For that matter, Ethan was positive that their Vulcan Executive officer would break procedure if it meant the saftey of Captain Irae.
Ethan was glad that Commander Savot was asking them for their opinions. If he did, Ethan wouldn't know what to say. Captain Phillips suffered was still suffering from the aftermath of a long fought war and it would take a souless person to not sympathize with his situation.
"We are currently 3.7 hours from Jevon 2. Given the time the Fury was noted missing, the last reported state of their engines, and their point of origin, their window of arrival ranges from 2.85 hours following our own... to 43.7 minutes prior."
For some reason it finally hit him that they could possibly be forced to fire on there own. Ethan had been tought since childhood that you never harm your own and the fact that in a matter of hours he could very possibily be doing just that.
"Commander, what do we know about these three officers?" Ethan asked," there could be something connecting them other than the Fury?"

Wolf: Sat back and listened to Commander Savot at least they were on the same page it appeared.
"Though we are as yet still without sufficient clearance to receive any additional data on the crew or their mission history, we intend to maintain our attempts on that front. Looking at Commander Savot and nodding his head.
" Sir if there is a chance of talking him out and heading things off before they get worse, Then I would suggest that the captain join my away team. I know the regs and will protect her with my own life. I have found that Captain some times like to talk to fellow captains and she might be able to buy time for us while we figure out a way to secure him with no harm. I know she can do this from the bridge but it would carry more weight in person. I dont think he would do anything if she was there in person talking to him as a sign of respect." <Tag Savot>
Sitting back and looking to see who he was going to take. Time was short and he wanted to end this with out anybody getting hurt.

"Sir, it has always been my opinion, but I think that sometimes SF Captains can be a pain in the neck, no offense to you captain," Travor paused to glance at the captain. "Is it possible that he is having flashbacks, related to PTSD?"
<Savot>
"I see, in that case I feel it necessary to reveal something to the entire crew, something that I am sure that you and the captain are well aware of. During my last mission with the Victory-C, I was exposed to some kind of nerve gas. The gas had no effect until we were docking at the end of our mission. I went into a coma and when I woke from it, I had gained two abilities. I can move objects with my mind and I can read the minds of others," Travor said as he looked around the room for reactions.

(Savot)
"Yeah, that," said Kevin.
(Gonto)
"One more thing," said Kevin after the conference seemed to have nearly reached an end. "How do we know they haven't gotten a bigger crew? Maybe some of the other officers this Captain knew who retired joined up with him. Or maybe he's found some freelancers of some sort to help him crew the ship."

"What do we know about the three people who appear to have stolen the Fury?" Judd asked. "Because if they're even halfway good at their jobs, we'll definitely need to consider using the MVA mode, considering that we'll be taking on a ship that just about matches us in firepower, and maneuvers like a fighter."
Ethan asked," Could there be something connecting them other than the Fury?"
Savot, in response to both officers' inquiries, enters a series of commands, bringing up a side-by-side listing of the 3 officers' pictures and what little there was known of each one's dossier. "The 3 officers in question are: Lieutenant Darlene Crenshaw, the Fury's former Chief Medical officer, female human; Lieutenant Commander Etam B'ren, male Bajoran Engineer; and Lieutenant Commander Zej'Ris their Edosian Second Officer. As to the specifics of their files we, as yet, have access only to their routine activities. We will continue to attempt to gain more insight from Command but we cannot count on success in that venture."
Major Wolf spoke next, "Sir if there is a chance of talking him out and heading things off before they get worse, Then I would suggest that the captain join my away team. I know the regs and will protect her with my own life. I have found that Captain some times like to talk to fellow captains and she might be able to buy time for us while we figure out a way to secure him with no harm. I know she can do this from the bridge but it would carry more weight in person. I don't think he would do anything if she was there in person talking to him as a sign of respect."
Before the vulcan's reply, their new Chief Navigator posed a question of his own, "Sir, it has always been my opinion, but I think that sometimes SF Captains can be a pain in the neck, no offense to you captain," Travor paused to glance at the captain. "Is it possible that he is having flashbacks, related to PTSD?"
First Deis grinned slightly and gave a silent nod to Mr. Gonto as though to say, 'None taken'. She held quiet for the moment and watched the way especially the newer officers interacted with her First. Truth be told in the past months they'd become more familiar with the vulcan than the El Salvador's Irish Captain so the best way for her to gauge their abilities and personalities was to sit tight. Savot had all the information she did so there was no harm in letting him handle the bulk of the briefing.
Savot faced Gonto and gave a partial nod, "Personality quirks, aside, we cannot discount any possibility at this time with the information at our disposal. Depending on the level of Captain Philip's lucidity he may well be imagining that he is a POW still amidst the Dominion War."
Continuing from there Savot then turned to face the Major, "It is for that reason above all, our high degree of uncertainty regarding the factors at work here, that Captain Irae should remain aboard the El Salvador. In addition to the risk to her, while I see the logic of your thinking Mr. Wolf, the presence of a fellow Captain who has not faced his self-perceived 'disgrace' could very well have the opposite effect and enrage him further."
"I see, in that case I feel it necessary to reveal something to the entire crew, something that I am sure that you and the captain are well aware of. During my last mission with the Victory-C, I was exposed to some kind of nerve gas. The gas had no effect until we were docking at the end of our mission. "I assume you're familiar with the... what is it, the Empathic and Psychic Agreement of whatever? The thing Betazoids and Vulcans and the like agree to?" asked Kevin. "The one that explicitly states you won't go burrowing into others' private thoughts?"
Savot interjected, "The Treatise Against Mental Invasion and the Psychic/Empathic Privacy Accords, both of which have basis in the Ullian laws against telepathic rape."
"Yeah, that," said Kevin.
<Any wanted response from Gonto>
Savot spoke again gesturing to Gonto while speaking to Major Wolf, "Given Mr. Gonto's ability, keeping in mind the privacy laws referenced by our Science Chief, it may behoove you to include our Helmsman in your team selection Major. While the Commander's rank is not equal to Philips' reducing the chance of inflaming his emotional state, it remains high enough to carry respect and the Commander's telepathic ability could potentially be used to discover the core of Captain Philips' episode giving us surer footing from which to proceed."
<Any response from Wolf if he wants to add something>
"One more thing," said Kevin after the conference seemed to have nearly reached an end. "How do we know they haven't gotten a bigger crew? Maybe some of the other officers this Captain knew who retired joined up with him. Or maybe he's found some freelancers of some sort to help him crew the ship."
Irae then leaned forward and addressed Kevin's final statements herself, "Tha' may verra well be. Though it's doubtful that too many more are in the mix. Other former colleagues an' freelancers are an unknown variable but hopefully the urgency of the timeframe involved didnae allow time t' bolster thair ranks by more'n a few."
She pressed controls at her console and checked the screen, "We've just over 3 hours left, people. Get t' yer stations an' make ready. Mr. Wolf though ye've held tactical in the past obviously ye'll be busy readyin' yer team this time. Get clearance from meself or Savot before seconding any of the senior staff to accompany ye. Let's get it done, gentlemen. Dismissed."
<It may seem confusing at first read. I pieced it together from segments of multiple people's comments. If you get lost, make sure to read carefully I made sure each quote included a statement about who was saying that quote. If there's any confusion, raise a hand and ask. Also, just ended the briefing to keep the pace going well, any further ideas/questions can be included you'll just have to post coming up with them in the midst of your duties.>

This mission would be like nothing before. Normally there would be a clear enemy or objective. This wasn't either. As far as they knew the three Fury crewmembers that went missing have not stolen the ship and our in the process of bringing it to Jevon 2. The mission briefing left little doubt about who was manning the ship, but they could all be wrong nonetheless.
This also brought more question, especially the situation on the planet. Commander Savot had informed them about the hostage situation, but not much more information. The arrival of the El Salvador could possibly make this situation even worse.
~Stop it Ethan, these are all 'What if's' situations~ Ethan thought as he reached his station. He didn't know why the information he had just heard was bothering him so much. He understood the loyalty of a crew to its Captain. He was okay with that. The hostage situation was a concern, but he knew that it could be worked out.
"Captain Irae all systems check out, but I would prefer to run more extensive scans before we arrive at the planet," Ethan said finally realizing that he couldn't do much at the moment but do his job.

John awoke after a good nights sleep on the starbase, then began to pack his things to leave for El' Sal, from what he had heard it was ment to be one of the beast ships in the fleet, but he couldnt help but miss his friends on the Victory.
John heaved his carry bag onto his shoulder, whilst dragging his foot locker in his right hand. John then left his quters and began looking for the El Salvador, when he found the vessel John suddenly wondered what he should do. He was on an unfamiliar ship, with no quarters, and he had to report to the Captain. Deciding that reporting in was smarter than finding somewhere to stow his belongings, John said "Computer, locate Captain Deis Irae " "Captain Deis Irae is in the briefing room" the compter replied.
John went and found a turbolift, and enterd it. inside there was already a ensign, <Bridge> John said sternly. The turbolift began to move and reached the bridge quite fast. He left the turbo lift and began to search for the Briefing room, he chose not to enter and insed decied to make himself familar with the ships weapons, shielding and other security featurs on the ship.
Once finished every seemed to be simoltanisly leaving the briefing room, John lgrabbed his stuff and walked in, finding The captain and Commander Savot stod talking. John stood to attention and said "Lt. jr Roberts reporting for duty sir"

"I was aware that there was something out there concerning that, but I have not agreed to any of it, yet. And I will respect all individual's rights concerning there thoughts, unless otherwise ordered," Travor said.
As commander Savot continued speaking to the rest of the senior staff, Travor just kind of zoned out, until he heard his name as one who might be going on the away team. Travor looked over to Major Wolf and nodded.

Wolf: Listened to everybody and they had good points but something just didn't sit well with him as he looked over at commander Gonto who would be joining him on this mission and looking back down at his padd. He quickly went thourgh some information which he was not happy about but still orders were orders .
doing a quick back round check of the ship that was stolen and accessing marine information on it he found what he was looking for before her she was put into mothballs he found what he was looking for. She had gone on a black ops mission and that was all he got his clearance wasn't high enought it was something easy to miss marine records weren't checked often and his only clue was the team that was aboard which dealt in black ops one he was part of along time ago.
"Commander Savot there is something that might have been missed. The ship in question was a patrol ship yes but her last mission was black ops. I saw who was aboard and know that no matter what someone tells you at star fleet she was used in black ops on her last mission. I can't go any more into detail with out the captains permission and a order to tell you how I know but this means she might still be armed heavly depending on her mission and the requirements for it and weather or not she was stripped 10hrs might not have been enough time to remove everthing I would suggest extreme care when dealing with her there are things that black ops doesn't want everybody knowing about" <Tag Savot>

As the other officers exitted the briefing room the vulcan First Officer stood there with the Major. Hearing what Wolf had to say Savot raised his eyebrow in thought before he spoke, "Understood, Major. For the moment you may keep the details of your involvement secret, but if at any moment you believe you have information critical to the safety of the El Salvador or her crew you are to reveal it at once. If the Fury underwent any modifications from the standard Defiant-class specifications, inform Mr. Sandage so he can make any extra preparations necessary. With the exception of the Captain, you may choose any officers you judge to be necessary for your plan of infiltration. Dismissed."
As Wolf nodded and turned to leave Savot spoke again, "One more thing, Mr. Wolf. It was good that you brought this to our attention."
As the Major left to develop his battle plan, a young Lieutenant walked up to Savot, "Lt. jr Roberts reporting for duty sir."
Savot nodded in response to the man's report, accepting the PADD containing Roberts' assignment orders. "Welcome to the El Salvador, Mr. Roberts. I'm uploading the location of your quarters; secure your belongings and report back to the bridge within 90 minutes. The abruptness is regrettable but unavoidable as we may be entering a tactical situation in 2.7 hours. Should you require any assistance you may ask one of the senior staff. Dismissed."

Wolf: Watched Commander Savot reaction if he had one, he listned to what the commander had to say.
"Understood, Major. Dismissed."
Looking at the Commander " Thank you sir for not pressing the issue, the only reason I was aware is because I have been asked to return to the group after this mission for a short while. My security clearance were reinstated to a point but not totaly I will brief Lt Sandage on what to expect to a point. You on the other should know that standard operating procedures on such mission would include shield codes to all known ship. I would suggest you change the code and not update it with star fleet until this mission is concluded. Something tells me black ops might have a hand in this to a point depending if the out come would benifit the federation. The captain may know something that star fleet doesn't really want brought to light at this moment and might have aloud this to occur in the way it did with the ship being so easly taken from dry dock"
Walking out of the briefing room and heading to engineering thinking about who was going on the mission. Arriving in engineering he found Sandage in his office
" Sandage I need a moment of your time. The information I'm about to give you can not leave this room in any form. Only the captain can be informed if the need arises. The ship which was taken was a normal patrol ship up until its last mission which was black ops. With only 10hrs in dry dock I dont think they stripped it in time of the updated equipement. Dont ask me how I know I cant tell you that" pausing thinking of a way to inform him with out breaking orders
" Sandage in short she going to be quicker and stronger dont look for normal federation cloaking start scanning all know cloaks you should be able to find her. As for weapons its hard to say depending on her mission which I really dont know standard operating procedures are to make her shields stronger then normal and quick for get aways. Which means there life support and everything else will be on minimum power."<tag Sandage>
Walking out of the office and thinking about who to take and coming up with a short list.
Tapping his combadge " Lt Roberts Sandage and Commander Gonto Please meet me in the security office in one hour your going on the mission" <Tag all>

Judd listened very cerafully to what Wolf had to say. "I think we can modify the sensors to detect her, and we've already got the best shields available. And when we're in MVA mode, the three sections are much more agile. Nothing we can do to improve that without shipyard facilities. I'll take care of things."
After Wolf left, Judd began issuing orders to the engineering staff, not liking that he had to keep the details to himself but doing it even so. Then his commbadge chirped.
=/\=Lt Roberts Sandage and Commander Gonto Please meet me in the security office in one hour your going on the mission.=/\=
Judd raised en eyebrow as he tapped his commbadge. =/\=Acknowledged, Major. Sandage out.=/\=
Judd turned to the duty officer, an Ensign T'Vel, and briefed her in on as much as he was allowed to, then went to his office and got his tool kit. Upon further reflection, he also grabbed a hand phaser. He left his office, and made a quick round to see how the sensor alterations were going, then headed for the security ofice.

=/\=Lt Roberts Sandage and Commander Gonto Please meet me in the security office in one hour your going on the mission.=/\=
John tapped his comm badge =/\= Will do, I will be there within the hour=/\=
He then quickly began lookng through what the mission was about, Mmm john had a few ideas already. John heded out his quaters with haste to the security office, when he arrived there was already a Marine Major there.

Wolf: Looked up from his screen to see Lt Roberts enter the office. Smiling a little and remembering the first time he came aboard.
" Your early Lt thats good how do you like our office. This is your office as well as mine when your not on the bridge feel free to move anything you want. As soon as the rest of the team arrives I'll go over the mission plan. Please feel free to ask any question for give ideas on how we should move. I do take suggestion under advisement just as long as everybody remember when we are in the field that I'm in command."
Pausing for a moment
" I want it known I do not want the Captain killed if it can be avoided. He's a good man at heart and deserves better if we can make it happen. I also want you to stay close to sandage he's a good man but not really trained in this area like the both us so along with your normal duties keep a eye on him. Because if we need a system hacked repaired there is nobody better at it then him. Dont get me wrong he can handle himself in a fight but I dont want to push it. The captain is highly trained and it will take all of us to end this peacefuly"<Tag Roberts>

"Better to be early than late" john replied as a little joke, "I wont be moving much if I do, most of y work will be on the bridge or in my quaters, unless you would rarther I did my work on the bridge or in here".
"ok, i will stay close to sandage, but if I have to kill him, I will, but only if I have too". John then went over to a chair a sat down.

Wolf: Looked up at the young Lt he was going to fit in nicely.
" Lt Roberts thats fair enought but if I have my way then there will be no need to kill anybody. If it comes to that then I hope and pray its me thats got to do that. No offense against you but its something thats hard to live with and on your first mission out I dont want to have make you do something like that. But lets hope we can save the captain and all come home safe. As for work in your quarters no I'm sorry but you will confine your work to the bridge or this office."
Pausing for a moment.
" No offense Lt but I beleave your quarters should be a quite space for you to unwind and rest and get a way from work. I dont want you taking it home with you we all need our quite space so please use the office and reserver your quarters for your own use okay" <Tag Roberts>

(OOC: First off just a query for the Major. Is it Hope you're taking with you or Gonto? At the end of the briefing your post mentions taking Gonto, and then a later post has you summoning Hope, just wanted to clear that up so people know who's going where. Thanks)
**********************************************
"Captain Irae all systems check out, but I would prefer to run more extensive scans before we arrive at the planet," Ethan said finally realizing that he couldn't do much at the moment but do his job.
"Aye, Commander, I want ye to do just that. It's doubtful we'd slip in undetected even runnin' silent so there's no reason not to grab hold of all the recon we can. Begin scans the moment we hit tha extreme range of scanner effectiveness", Irae ordered, agreeing with her Ops chief.
At that moment Savot came onto the bridge from the briefing room and moved to stand close to the Captain, leaning in slightly to speak to her in soft tones, "Captain, may I confer with you a moment in your ready room?"
Doing a fair emulation of her vulcan First's usual eyebrow raise, Deis only nods for a moment before heading that direction, "I'll be in my ready room a moment, Mr. Zimmerman ye 'ave the conn."
*********************************************
"All righ' Commander, what's botherin' ye?", asked the Captain as she merely stood once the room doors shut rather than going all the way to sit at her desk chair.
Savot clasped his hands behind his back and explained, "Major Runningwolf has provided me with some sensitive data. It would seem the Fury may not be as stripped of equipment as my estimates suggested, however I've already instructed him to update Mr. Sandage on those details. Our concern lies in the fact that the Fury computers may have access to all current Federation shield frequencies. He has suggested we alter them for the duration of this mission and withhold the change from Command."
Deis face grew intently serious as she listened to the vulcan's words, "An' how is it the Major knows these things pray tell?"
"He informed me of his personal involvement in black ops that made him privy to this data. I have already informed him and he has agreed to reveal any additional data he may have if he feels that ignorance will in any way risk the safety of ship or crew. Naturally, if you feel this insufficient I will take no offense should you countermand my order and demand full knowledge of his participation", Savot elevated his chin slightly and stood rigidly straight awaiting the Captain's evaluation of his conduct.
At this point Deis did move towards her desk, not to sit but to lean against it with her hands in frustration, "Savot I don't like this a damn bit. So help me if we lose someone on this mission because Command has their 'ands into somethin' dirty...", Deis turned back to face Savot with a quickness fueled by growing anger. The vulcan's face was calm along the surface and yet she knew he shared her concern for ship and crew. Taking a deep breath and releasing it in a calming but forceful sigh she reigned herself in as well, "Nae, Mr. Savot ye made the right call. If there's blame t' place it isna with yerself or Mr. Wolf. Fer tha now we'll change th' codes and keep our wits about us. If we need more we'll cross that bridge when we come t' it."
Rotating her work console and entering a command she spoke out to the computer, "Computer, reset all ship's command codes by random algorithm and release only t' Commander Savot's voice command authorization or my own, acknowledge."
The calm, feminine computer voice spoke out softly within the room, =^= Acknowledged. Reset and voice command isolation complete.=^=
Nodding firmly to her FO she and Savot both exitted the ready room and returned to the bridge, Deis taking her center seat and Savot standing nearby, "ETA to tha Jevon system, Mr. Hope."
Ethan responded to the Captain's question quickly and simply, "47.7 minutes... mark. Beginning long range scans."

Wolf: Sat in his office waiting for the rest of the team he thought about it for amoment and decided it was best to work in a group of 4 instead of 3. Tapping his combadge and signaling for Commander Gonto " Sir if your duties permit please meet me and the rest of the team in my office. I have decided to add you to the mission." <Tag Gonto>
He looked back down at the padd he had been studying while they waited for his team to arrive he could tell the young Lt was ready to go but they had to wait. Looking back down at his screen he saw the information coming coded level red Star fleet black ops order. He study if for a minute. Now it starts he thought you fight to get out of this stuff and they dragg you back in.
He had left certain information out when he had talked to commander Savot the price for the incoming information was for him to rejoin the unit for a couple of months. Sure they say a couple of months but they dont ever mean it.
Looking over at the Lt making sure he couldn't see what he was doing, He decoded the message there would be no log of it any where. It was for Black op use only not even the captain would be able to break the code anymore then he could break here command codes. Although Commander Savot might be able he thought to himself.
The incoming information had confirmed his fears, something he had been praying against. It had appeared that there was another faction involved one that black ops wasn't happy about Section 31 was working on this and had arranged for the ship to be taken. With out being stripped of its special gear all was intact. There was also unconfirmed report that section 31 didn't want the captain to live. He had information on some of there people he had collected over the years which could hurt them. They had been the ones to arrange his medical problems. Since nothing could be proved and if black ops had said anything then section 31 would know they were on to them.
Just great let a man rott because you dont want to blow a cover. They had also included a back round information on the captain suggesting he wouldn't trust anybody but his own crew which worried black ops. They beleaved one of the officers currently on the stolen ship was a member of section 31 with orders to make sure this did not end well for anybody.
As he finished scanning the reports he saw a message encloseded from the general of the unit.
Major Wolf:
You are order at all cost to try and save the captain and that ship if possible. You are futher order to try and find the spy in his crew. You are only to release information to your crew on a need to know basis. Do not inform the of section 31 involvment unless the need arise. Question will be asked that we dont want to answer. If pushed have your commanding officer contact me. Its nice to have the wolf back in the fold. end of message.
Looking up and back down again wolf saw the equipment list of the stolen ship. It was impressive as he had guessed they had shield codes. Jamming devices and heavy weapons aboard. The warp corp had been modfied for extrem power out put what ever that last mission was it wasn't a snatch and grabb it was lets go blow something up and not get caught.
Looking again he deleted the message it was gone with no trace. Now here's a real pickle how do I inform the crew with out letting them know everthing. Not to mention save a man who's not going to trust anybody but his crew and the thing he was trying to fight is on that crew. Thanks General not enought work for me on one mission.
Lt excuse me for a moment I need to go talk to Commander Savot. If the rest of the team shows up have them wait this will not take long" <Tag Roberts>
Walking out of his office he made a bee line for the bridge not talking to anybody. When he arrived on the bridge he found commander Savot and the captain. Thinking of his options he felt best to relay the information to Commander Savot he would understand the current problem a little better.
Looking at Commander Savot " Sir I need a word with you in private it please he had been hand signing the number 31 to him in hopes he would understand" <Tag Savot>

((OOC: Thanks for clearing up the group roster situation. If I read it correctly the team consists of 4 members total: Major Wolf, Lt. Roberts, Mr. Sandage, and Mr. Gonto. Ethan will stay aboard ship with the rest of us then. If anybody's still confused, feel free to ask for clarification))
***********************************************
Savot watched as Major Wolf came back on the bridge and spoke to him, "Sir I need a word with you in private it please." He had been hand signing the number 31 to Savot in hopes he would understand.
The message was not lost on the vulcan who was familiar with a number of languages including sign. Gesturing toward the now empty briefing room he let Wolf enter first while he spoke to the Captain, "Excuse me a moment, Captain, I shall return presently."
Savot followed the Marine into the briefing room and as the doors whooshed closed he spoke, "Computer, seal this room and erect a level 2 dampening field. Isolate security recordings to my voice command, authorization Savot Lamda Five."
=^=Acknowledged. Field is active; isolation commencing=^=, came the familiar echo of the computer's voice.
Savot then turned to Wolf with his hands clasped behind his back, "What do you have Mr. Wolf?"
