Taking his seat, Savot was informed, whether by Wolf or his chair's console, of the new Ensign's arrival. Looking towards the Helm he indeed noted the back of a head that he was unfamiliar with. "Mr. Fire?", the vulcan began, "Welcome aboard Ensign. Plot a course back to our side of the Federation border so we'll be prepared to leave when our business here is complete."
The youthful Ensign heard the voice from behind him at first talking to the Colonel then he would heard a more direct tone towards him. James of course didn't need to turn around much less hear Wolf calling him Captain to know who had just appeared on the bridge of the ship.
"Thank you sir."
He replied carefully as he continued to eye his panel, then he heard the order and plotted the course quickly. He inputted his coordinates without much trouble, but left the speed at which the Captain wanted and would press the golden key to ignite the engines and fire them off into warp towards their fresh destination when the order came through.
"Course laid in sir."
James would reply once more without turning around and awaiting further instruction from Captain Savot.

By the time the mini-sal docked, S'reena's attention was divided by a creeling firelizard and listening to the captain. She was overwhelmed by a feeling of intense hunger, though she knew she wasn't hungry at all. Therefor, the feeling must come from her new companion. By now she was starting to learn more about Auric, starting to get a feel for her mood now she was a few days old.
"I'm not going to sickbay," she told Stacey, once Savot was out of hearing range, "Michael will have a look at home after his shift." The Romulan shuddered visibly, suppressing several horrid memories at the same time. "I'll be in my quarters, Auric needs feeding. And I really want to spend some time with my children."
She did, quite dutifully, escort Stacey to sickbay's doors, even though Stacey was doing most of the leading. "I'll see you on the bridge," she promised, leaving her friend behind as she started to walk away, using the wall and Auric as a guide.
S'reena smiled as she received images of her little golden firelizard and imagined her performing an aerial show. She could feel the wind as the little creature zipped past her cheek a few times or when she hovered, just fanning her wings. She walked back to her quarters at a leasurely pace, feeling more at home by the minute and more confident about crossing the corridors. Her new pet was learning to show her the way quickly enough, after she nearly walked into a wall a few times.
"Mommy!" By the pitch of the voice, S'reena deducted that it was her son Jeisen running towards her. Sure enough a small pair of hands found their way around one of her hands, tugging her down. "Mommy are you all right?" the little boy asked. Seconds later, the rest of her offspring surrounded her, asking her the same question. This had her wonder what her appearance was like.
"I'm fine," she reassured them all, "just had a little accident on the planet. She rose when she sensed someone had entered her quarters with her. "Ian?" she queried, without turning.
"You got me," Ian Forbes grinned, "captain's orders were quite clear ma'am. Don't make me set Michael on you."
"Then don't." S'reena's mood shifted all of a sudden. "I don't intend to go to sickbay and there's nothing you can do to make me."
"Don't make this hard on your self S'reena," Ian pleaded, unaware of her history with sickbays and her fear for it. "It's only a check up, you did get shot. I just had mine and I'm fit for duty. Please, it'll be quick, Michael's waiting."
"No. Please leave Ian, you are scaring my children and upsetting Auric." Oddly enough, Auric was tearing away at the red meat Kahlan had replicated for her, but which S'reena was handfeeding her.
"Don't make me call security or have you declared unfit for duty. Do you want to disappoint the captain?"
"He's Vulcan, he can't be disappointed."
"But he can be surprised," Kahlan cut in, chuckling as she squeezed Yarna's shoulder. "Yarna hid in his office, you should've seen his face. There was this annoying woman in his office and he played right along with Yarna, pretending she was ah,...." the girl couldn't get around the difficult word. "Something intelligence?" she then queried. "It was so funny, but the woman scared her. Dad had to come get us."
S'reena shrugged. "I'm not going to sickbay," she repeated.
Ian Forbes sighed and tapped his combadge. "Captain, I recommend you place Commander Hope off duty. She refuses to report to sickbay and there's nothing I can do to change her mind short of calling security. She's obviously more affected than she lets on."
Despite her blindness, the Romulan managed to glare at her assistant, which set off Auric, who hissed at him, her eyes whirling fast and bright red. "Leave," S'reena hissed, accompanied by Auric's angry warble. "Now!"
Ian shrugged. "Your call," he warned, then left without another word.

A Danube class runabout flew though space. Inside the runabout: "You are jumpy today. Aren't you?" Juliet asked "Well yes."Sam answered "I haven't been on a deep space mission since 3 years. Of course I'm jumpy. But it feels good to go back to the El'Sal. I've missed this ship." "Me to. Do you remember our beginning romance there?" "Do I. I never forget that day." Sam replied "Look there is the El Salvador."
**A few minutes later** The Danube class runabout docked. Sam and Juliet exited to shuttle. "Let's pay our respect to the captain." Juliet said and she and Sam left for the bridge.
--Bridge-- Sam stepped on the bridge followed by Juliet. Savot sat in his chair. Sam walked to wards him. "Cmdr 1st class Sam K'Vada, reporting as ordered." Sam announced. [TAG: Savot]
"It is good to be back, and may I say that those captains pips looks good on you." Sam responded respectfully. [TAG: Savot]
"I'd like to assume my position. May I leave the bridge?" Sam Asked [TAG: Savot]
Sam walked to the turbolift and left for sickbay.

He had arrived at the brig just in time to see the last of the Breen being secured in a cell. He was proud of his marines they had taken extra measure to secure the Breen. They had physicaly searched them and it appeared they had scanned them as well. On top of that a marines were stationed out side the brig and infront of each of the cells. He would have to remember to include that in his report.
He started to think about what they were going to do with them now. He knew Captain Savot was going to release them to there home world. That was a little bit of a concern even though they didn't have physical records of the monster they had just built, he knew it was in there heads. Nobody knew much about the Breen so it might only be guessing right now but it was a gamble to let them go with what they knew.
Taking his station and looking at the monitors the breen seemed at easy. They are very clever he thought to himself. They know Star fleet officer's will keep there word no matter what. He wondered if they were smiling underneath those enviromental suites they wore. Tapping a com channel
" Captain Savot our guest are secured and under heavy armed guard. They appeare not to care and are listening to our instrutions." <Tag Savot>

After being ordered to sickbay for a checkup Stacey stepped off the shuttle and walked over to the door. She stopped as S’reena told her she was going to skip her sickbay check up and instead go to see her children.
Stacey did not argue with her, she looked fine and seeing her children was probab;y going to do more good for her than a reluctant trip to sickbay.
After being escorted to sickbay by S’reena, Stacey stepped inside and sat on a bio bed.
After a few seconds a young doctor walked over and asked.
“What can I do for you today Ma’am.”
Stacey smiled as she looked the young man over and said.
“I was injured on the away mission.. the EMH told me I badly broke my wrist.. and the stab would I suffered missed any major organs.”
The young man nodded and picked up a medical tricorder and began to scan her. Stacey took a deep breath as the doctor scanned her.
After a few moments he smiled and said.
“the EMH seems to have done a good job fixing you up… and apart from that you are in excellent health considering your advanced…”
he stopped suddenly and looked up embarrassed.
Stacey merely laughed and said. “Age.. don’t worry doctor I am aware I am in my late fifties.”
He smiled a little ashe said. “well Commander you are as fit as someone in their early forties so your doing well.. just try not to get stabbed again.”
Stacey smirked and replied. “I will do my best.. can I go now?”
The doctor nodded and said. “Yes Ma’am but please come back in tomorrow I want to keep an eye on your internal injuries.”
Stacey jumped off the bed and walked out of sickbay.
Five minutes later she entered her office and decided to tie up some loose ends. She tapped her comm.. badge and said.
=/\= Colonel Wolf report to my office immediately Jackson out.” =/\=
Ten minutes later Wolf entered and looked at Stacey sitting in her chair. Stacey looked up and said.
“Don’t bother sitting Mister Wolf you won’t be here long.” She took a deep breath and said.
“While in captivity I overheard your offer to turn yourself in to the Klingons instead of Captain Savot… I want you to know that was most certainly the worst move you could have made… Not only did you have a tactical advantage by remaining a mystery to them.. but if they had of taken your offer you would have left the rest of the team without a leader to lead them.”
She paused for a moment and looked at Wolf. But before he could say anything she added.
“Saving Captain Savot from that situation was an honourable goal but it was the wrong move to make.. leaving Junior officers to deal with a weapon of mass destruction would have been stupid… luckily for you the Klingons did not take your offer otherwise it is likely me, Commander Hope and yourself would either be dead or on our way to be sold to the highest bidder and the planet killer poorly guarded by outnumbered junior officers.”
She looked back to the floor and then up to Wolf and then asked.
“Do you have anything to say Mister Wolf.”
<tag Wolf>
she nodded before saying. “your dismissed.”
OOC: permission was sought from Wolf before posting this lecture.

He had a idea of what this was going to be about when he got the call from commander Jackson. He wasn't looking forward to it and he couldn't get out of it she out ranked now that there part of the mission was over. He entered her office she was not a happy camper from what he could tell and knew she was going to be very blunt about what was on her mind.
He stood there and listened to everything she had to say, she was right about quite a few things. He had made a few poor decisions but he didn't agree with everything she had to say. She didn't know him very well or understood why he was willing to give himself up but those were things she would have to ask Commander Hope about. Even though he knew Hope wouldn't agree with his choices either she would have understood.
Taking the moment to gather his thoughts he figure might as well be honest as he could be with the commander since they would be working to gether.
" Commander Jackson your assement of my choices are correct for the most part. While I disagree with you on a few little things. My Marines are not with out leaders each one has the ability to step up and face that challenge when needed. While leaving them was not the best choice it was something I had to do.
I have a duty to this ship and its captain sometimes they are at odd's with each other. That mostly because the captain has made a choice that puts his life in danger. We Marines are the quite body guards of the captain. Its our mission to obey his orders and to make sure he's safe at all times. I failed that part once before with Commander hope when she made it my responsablity to protect someone. Why you are right at the same time you are a little wrong. Captain Savot should not have come to the surface he should have remained on the ship. I was trying to make sure starfleet didn't loose another valued asset, I couldn't take loosing anybody else.
I should have thought it through a little more and considered other options. I was lucky to a point that things happened the way they did. I have lost a lot of people over that last few months on mission's people will never know about. I saw a option and ran with it instead of thinking it through better. In black ops you dont get the time sometimes you have to go with what ever presents it self first.
Before you say anything I know I dont belong to them any more. I promise to not rush into snap decisions. The other and you can take it to the bank, as long as there's a breath in me I will do what ever it takes to save lives even at the exspense of my own. I will on the other hand make sure its not at the sake of a mission."
He thought to himself for a minute about admiral Drew and how he failed. He had gotten lucky then to but one thing about luck it changes with out notice.
" I will take what you have said to heart and strive to do better. As for how lucky I got well thats just a question of time. Something tells me later on down the line I will pay the price for what I said and did. One thing about secerts Commander Jackson is there not secerts unless only one person knows about it." <Tag Jackson>

After listening to the rather lengthy response by Wolf she sighed and motioned to the chair opposite her. “Sit down Colonel.”
After he sat down Stacey crossed her legs and took a deep breath. “To start off Colonel none of your Marines have the training you have and not even you had the knowledge to deal with a planet Killer how could they have possibly done it.”
She paused for moment and looked down at her hand now sitting on her lap. “Secondly you mentioned people you had lost in the past… You can’t let them affect your decisions now… You can’t be more willing to sacrifice yourself to seek redemption.”
Stacey again paused and took a breath, “If anything had happened to Captain Savot in this situation it would have been his fault not yours… you’re not a superhero Colonel you can’t save everybody… and you especially can’t save everyone from themselves.”
She took another breath and sorted through in her mind what Wolf had said. “And being willing to sacrifice yourself for others is something that should be admired in someone… however when it is thier first reaction to a situation it’s something that should be feared.. sacrificing yourself should be a last resort not a first.”
She had tired of this current conversation and looked back to Wolf and said.
“Now I have other people to see Colonel, You can go.”

As Wolf prepared to leave the bridge, Savot listened to his concerns and was not surprised by them in the slightest. Part of Wolf's job was to point out areas of potential risk, and while Savot already had a plan to handle this particular situation, Wolf couldn't know that for sure and as such was entirely correct in voicing his concerns.
The new Ensign thanked him for the welcome and crisply followed his instructions, "Course laid in sir."
Savot nodded, even though Fire wasn't facing him, "Very good, Ensign. Stand by for now; our current business will likely take several hours to complete. I simply see no reason not to be prepared to leave when the time comes."
As he finished, the sensors picked up another shuttle approaching and Savot rose from his chair to open a channel to the craft from his Ready Room to determine their purpose. As the doors closed him off from the bridge, a signal came through from Ian Forbes, =^=Captain, I recommend you place Commander Hope off duty. She refuses to report to sickbay and there's nothing I can do to change her mind short of calling security. She's obviously more affected than she lets on.=^=
If only eyebrow lifts were cardiovascular, Savot may not have needed to exercise ever again. As it was, he tapped his commbadge in reply as his eyebrow levelled out, =^=Understood, Mr. Forbes. Just report to the bridge for the moment and begin the scans we discussed. I'm sure we can remedy Commander Hope's situation, Savot out.=^=
The vulcan recalled that Hope had shown no signs of anxiety in the presence of the EMH on the shuttle, and she was married to a doctor, so it was likely only the physical location of sickbay that gave her pause. Thinking he had come up with a solution he was about to order the EMH to Hope's quarters to diagnose her there, when he read the file identifying the incoming personnel... Granting the shuttle clearance to dock, Savot returned the bridge to receive the 2nd batch of new officers.
Sam K'vada stepped on the bridge followed by Juliet. Savot sat in his chair, but stood as the El Salvador's former Chief Medical Officer returned to the fold. Sam walked to wards him, "Cmdr 1st class Sam K'Vada, reporting as ordered." Sam announced.
"Welcome back to the El Salvador, Doctor, and Ms. de Boer. I'm pleased to see you're both well", Savot received K'vada's padd that confirmed his transfer orders, then keyed the location of the couple's quarters onto the padd before returning it to Sam.
"It is good to be back, and may I say that those captains pips looks good on you." Sam responded respectfully.
The vulcan bowed his head in polite acceptance of the compliment, but was even more grateful for the no-nonsense work ethic the Doctor had apparently maintained as he immediately requested permission to return to work, "I'd like to assume my position. May I leave the bridge?" Sam asked.
Savot nodded even as he spoke, "By all means, Doctor. In fact, you will find a Doctor Hope on call when you arrive. Please relieve him once you're settled, as I want him to look in on his wife since she just returned from an away mission on the planet below."
Sam then walked to the turbolift and left for sickbay. As Forbes arrived on the bridge, a report came in from Wolf, =^=Captain Savot our guest are secured and under heavy armed guard. They appeare not to care and are listening to our instrutions.=^=
Savot activated his chair-arm comm-channel to respond, =^=Understood, Colonel, good work. There will be medical teams coming in to perform scans on the Breen, ensure their safety and provide assistance as needed, Savot out.=^=
As things seemed to settle into a more normal pattern aboard the El Salvador, Savot directed his attention to the tactical readout of the other ships in nearby space. The 2 functioning Birds of Prey were still connected to the Hirogen vessel, and Savot presumed that that was majority of the reason he hadn't already been hailed by the Klingon commander demanding an update on the 2 hostage-takers. The Hirogen, not native to this region of space, would not be distracted whatsoever by the happenings on the planet, and as such the Klingons would have to wait until the battle had been decided one way or another before allowing themselves to be distracted by it as well.
The arrival of 2 Galor-class Cardassian ships came as no surprise either, as certainly by now sensor buoys would have had plenty of time to relay the unauthorized presence of a Federation ship within their space, and they'd certainly have sent ships to determine its purpose. Based on the current readouts the Cardassians were 1.3 hours from communication range, and 6.1 hours from extreme weapons range at their current speed.
While adding those variables to the overall equation continuing to flow through his vulcan mind, Savot was otherwise unconcerned at the new arrival as there was little chance the Cardassians could maintain a position of umbrage at the El Salvador's trespassing once they learned of what had been transpiring on the planet surface...

Taking a seat and listening to what she had to say, he understood her concerns they were valed points. Still he didn't want her to think he had a death wish and the matter of the captain he still disagreed with but didn't want to push that issue. When she was done saying her piece and dismissed him he got up to leave.
Before leaving her office he stopped and looked back at her, he had a little more respect for her now. Still he wanted to make sure somethings were clear before he left.
" Commander Jackson please rest assured I dont have a death wish or think I'm Superman or something. I do my job to the best of my ability I accept the fact that one day it may mean I might get killed. I'm not rushing into that I"m just tired of seeing people die with out a purpose to it. As you told me before think about my decision and whats best mission I will also being thinking about what it cost and making sure that we dont have to let anybody get hurt or killed needlessly. That goes for myself as well I want to live to a ripe old age with being said I too have some concerns.
This has nothing to do with what we just talked about or me getting back at you. While on the surface I had a chance to observe both you and hope. As you have stated what I need to do better and agree with. There are things you need to do better as well, you got lucky with the klingon he had no honor. If you had been dealing with a real klingon warrior you would not have been so lucky. I would recomend that both you and Commander Hope start attending my basic hand to hand combat class. While it might not stop you from being taken again it will make it harder if it happens again. As you look out for my mental well being I have to look out for your physical side. Its just a recomendation Commander I will not force you to attend but I ask that you think about. I will offer private classes if you desire on what ever form of combat you wish to learn.
Before you start to think your to old for my instructor was 70yrs old and it took me 5yrs of training before I was able to put him down. Age Commander is nothing heart and soul is everything" <Tag Jackson>
He head back to the brig in time to get Captain Savots message about the medical team. It was going to be risky. The Breen were a unkown to him he wasn't sure how they were goint to react. He would double the security and make sure the Breen were aware of it. One way or the other he would make sure the medical team got there scan even if he had to stun a breen to get it.
Tapping his combadge " Under stood Captain I will make the arrangements for the medical team please have them report no sooner the 30 mins. I will ensure they get what they need with or with out the cooperation of the Breen" <Tag Savot>

"Very good, Ensign. Stand by for now; our current business will likely take several hours to complete. I simply see no reason not to be prepared to leave when the time comes."
James heard the Captain speak and nodded, "Aye sir." His reply was swift as he went back to observing the information on his panel and out of the top of his eyes watching the viewscreen like he'd trained himself to do. His face moved back up towards the viewport once more thinking silently to himself, I don't think I've flown anything this big before, but it'll be interesting enough.
He suddenly heard the swoosh of the turbolift doors and noted the appearance of somebody on the bridge talking to Captain Savot. It was of course their new doctor and he seemed eager to get to work. Because it wasn't very long and the person was off the bridge. That was of course when James remembered something, and digging into his uniform pants he pulled out the PADD that contained his orders.
He swiveled around in his seat and looked towards Captain Savot, "Here are my orders sir would you like them now or do you wish for me to hold onto them until after we leave Cardassian space?" <Savot>

--Turbolift-- Sam and Juliet entered the turbolift. "Deck 7 sickbay." Sam ordered "Deck 8, crew quarters." Juliet replied "I'll go to our quarters. You need to relieve Cmdr. Hope. I don't think its good for me to go with you." "You are right." Sam responded and gave her a kiss. The doors opened and Sam left.
--Sickbay-- Just as Sam was about to enter Cmdr. Jackson left. They nodded. Sam took a deep breath and entered. He looked around. "There hasn't changed a lot since I left." Sam talked to himself "Can I help you?" a young petty officer asked. "I'm looking for Cmdr. Hope." Sam replied "He is standing over there." The petty officer said and pointed to biobed one. Sam walked up to Cmdr. Hope. "Cmdr. Hope?" Sam said "Yes, can I help you?" Hope replied "I'm Cmdr. K'Vada the new CMO. I'm here to take over sickbay." Sam responded and he extended his hand. [TAG: S'reena] "I hope we can work together?" Sam said "I need a good assistant CMO. Can you brief me on the status of the mission?" [TAG: S'reena]
"Thank you Cmdr. The Capt. asked me to send you to your wife, she has a medical problem. The capt. wanted you to treat her." Again Cmdrs. K'Vada and Hope shook hands and Cmdr. Hope left. ==^== K'Vada to Capt. Savot==^== ==^==Savot here==^== ==^==Capt. I heard we have some Breen on board. I'd like a chance to study them and look if they need medical assistance==^== [Tag: Savot]
==^==Thank you Capt. I'll do. K'Vada out==^== With that Sam left for the bridge.
--Bridge-- Sam entered. As he looked to wards the Breen a shiver went through him. A Colonel stood there and looked at the Breen. Sam cleared his throat "Colonel Wolf?" "Yes" The man said "I'm Cmdr. K'Vada, the new CMO. I'd like to study the Breen?" Sam replied [Tag: Wolf]

Savot acknowledged Wolf's message regarding the medical team preparations, then welcomed the Doctor back aboard the ship. The Doctor's arrival prompted the new ensign to offer his transfer orders, as he'd been summoned to his duty station right off the bat and hadn't had a chance to hand them in yet; He swiveled around in his seat and looked towards Captain Savot, "Here are my orders sir would you like them now or do you wish for me to hold onto them until after we leave Cardassian space?"
Savot walked forward towards the helm, nodding as he did so, "I can take them now, Ensign." Accepting the padd, Savot reviewed the orders which were, as expected, legitimate. He also noted that Fire had already been shown his quarters before being called to duty, so there was no need to enter their location on the datapadd before returning it to the new helmsman.
Following the brief exchange, K'vada called the bridge from sickbay, =^=Capt. I heard we have some Breen on board. I'd like a chance to study them and look if they need medical assistance.=^=
The vulcan pressed his communicator badge in reply, =^=I had intended that very thing, Doctor. In addition to the usual scans; however, I'd like you to gain as much insight into their brain structure as possible. Some or all have been in close proximity to and possibly aided the construction of a weapon of mass destruction on the planet below.=^=
Savot sat as he continued explaining his intentions, =^=As I cannot justify executing them solely on that basis, and we are obligated to return them to their government, I had planned to attempt to alter or eliminate the memory engrams that contain their memories of this device. We are as yet uncertain as to the duration of this construction, though I am proceeding under the present assumption that it began no earlier than the Breen involvement in the Dominion War, and no later than the end of said involvement. I understand the difficulties of this order Doctor as the cortical functions of the Breen are still largely unknown to us; I merely ask for your best attempt. Inform me if you require any further resources.=^=
=^=Thank you Capt. I'll do that, K'vada out=^=, the Doctor took to the orders with the professionalism Savot remembered in the man, and the vulcan was content for the moment to leave that area of concern to K'vada and his medical staff.

Ensign Fire watched the vulcan commanding officer as he read through the orders that he'd been handed. Then accepted them back once Captain Savot had completed his look.
James proceeded to turn back around and pull his panel to him then return back to work watching his readouts as the sensors that were before him confirmed what may have already been known to the tactical station, the approach of Cardassians.

Sickbay
"I'm Lieutenant Hope," Michael politely corrected the new chief medical officer, "Commander Hope is my wife." He held out his hand in greeting, which was readily accepted, then listened to the orders the captain. "Oh, is it that time of day again?" he scowled, grabbing his medical kit, "I thought she was over this by now, especially after all that time she spent recovering..."
Michael looked up to K'vada. "Sir, it might perhaps be best if you accompanied me. When it comes to sickbays and medical exams, my wife can be quite...difficult." Quickly he explained her uncanny fear of being in a sickbay, especially as a patient, but how she'd been recovering from that recently. "She had a bad accident on the USS Hepta a few months back," he explained, "she was on duty on the bridge and a console exploded. It has left her permanently blind."
The doctor sighed miserably. "She's coping all right, though several hopes have already been shattered. Her physiology has rejected any form of implant, whether they are ocular or VISOR. You must know she's Romulan, I don't know whether it's the species or whether she's just unique in that. Our children are adjusting well though, and helping her whenever they can. In he end though, it is she who must pull through. The away mission she just returned to was her first, and you've no idea what talking to it took for her to go through with it."
Again, he sighed. "Well I'd best be off then. Will you accompany me, or join me at a more suitable time? I really do believe that you yourself should talk to her, sir."
Hope quarters "Ah hello Ian," Michael greeted upon entering, "what're you doing here?"
"Trying to convince S'reena to go to sickbay," the assistant science chief grumbled, "any news on Meadows?"
"He'll be fine," Michael promised, while picking up one of his sons, giving him a quick hug before repeating the process with the other two of the triplets. "Ah Yarna, no more hiding in the captain's office all right?" he chuckled, as the girl shyly came up to him, demanding a hug of her own.
"She did what?" S'reena called from the livingroom.
"She amused the captain for a while," Michael smiled, "trust me, he was amused. The counselor present less so." He failed to mention that the girl had gotten quite upset at some point. "S'reena, Doctor K'Vada should stop by shortly. Do be nice to him?"
"Fine," S'reena answered, not getting up from her seat.
Ian rolled his eyes. "I'd better report to the bridge. The captain is waiting for some scans." He hurried out, and arrived on the bridge several minutes late. "I do apologise captain, there were a few complications. I'll have the scan results for you in a moment."
With ease, he slipped into the science chief's seat and activated the sensors. His eyes seemed glued to the scope as he analysed the incoming data. "We can collapse the shaft," he reported, "but we'll need to evacuate the area first to avoid unnecessary casualties. As S'reena said, the danger of explosions will remain, but we can use her suggestion in regard to liquifying the soil." He hesitated. "I mean, give it liquid properties through vibration. The device should be safely buried, especially if we heat the top layer enough to crystallise it. I mean...vulcanise it, in essence. You know, how diamonds come out of a vulcano?" He realised he was babbling, though he was certain those qualified enough to understand, knew what he was getting at. "Orders, sir?" he queried, his ears having turned bright red in embarassment.

Commander Stacey Jackson had done what she felt she needed to do and made her way slowly toward the nearest turbolift. Curiosity had gotten the better of her and she wanted to see the progress of the crew on destroying the Planet Killer that was on the surface of the planet.
She rubbed her stomach were the Klingon Kathar had plunged his knife, the wound and pain were gone now but Stacey still expected to feel something there. She had changed her uniform and was glad to not have to see the blood that had stained her last uniform anymore.
After the rather cathartic walk to the turbolift Stacey stepped inside and said.
“Deck One.”
The turbolift started to move and Stacey leaned against the wall letting out a sigh of relief, the away mission on the planet had not been fun to say the least and being back on the El Salvador made Stacey feel at ease again.
Finally the turbolift doors opened to reveal the bridge and Stacey slowly pushed herself off of the turbolift wall and strolled onto the bridge looking around as she walked.
Savot was easy to spot sitting calmly in the Captains chair she did not recognise the young ensign on the helm, which surprised her a little she had read the files of the bridge crew and thought she had memorised them all.
She walked over to the helm position and said.
“Hello Ensign I am Commander Stacey Jackson ships Counsellor, am I correct in assuming you are a new addition to the crew?”
<Tag Ensign Fire>
“Well welcome aboard Ensign.. If you ever need anything please don’t hesitate to seek me out.”
<Tag Ensign Fire>
She couldn’t help but overhear Ian at the science station asking Captain Savot for orders.
Stacey continued to stand passively watching the bridge crew work, until she was approached by a lieutenant who said.
“Commander… you do know the Counsellor has a place to sit on the bridge don’t you?”
he pointed to a station to the left of Savot parallel to the one on the right were the first officer would sit. In truth Stacey had not known the Counsellor was to sit there but turned and said.
“Of Course I knew that I just liked to stand.. but if that bothers you so I will sit down.”
She walked over and took a seat behind the small console she pulled it a little closer to her and looked down to see what it displayed. To her surprise it had a place for Casualty reports from sickbay to filter through, and even a place where basic ship damage reports would come in.
She supposed it was just in case the Operations officer was incapacitated in a fire fight someone else on the ship could look down and see the reports. While she didn’t have advanced knowledge in Starship operations she could tell enough that the ship was in very good condition. She nodded and took a deep breath as she looked back to Captain Savot waiting to see if he was ready to put an end to the Planet Killers existence.

He waited for the medical team to arrive, security was in place it might have been a little over kill but he didn't want to take anymore chances. The medical team would just have to work with the space provided.
As the secuirty door opened an officer he hadn't seen before walked it caught him a little off Guard. It had appeared they had gotten a new CMO who introduced him self as K'avad " I'm Lt Col wolf senior Marine officer I would say welcome aboard but there's time for that later. I'm sorry about the heavy security but they are Breen and there are to many unkown when dealing with them. You will have two Marines for each Breen with another two standing outside the cell. There will be no moving them to sickbay with out the captains orders and a security detail in place. Look Doc I'm not trying by any means to make your job harder then what it is I really mean that. I'm just trying to make sure you are safe at all times I can scan and physical check for weapons but with our limited knowledge of the Breen that just isn't good enough. I will how every lift the security requirement after you do a couple of scans and can assure me there is no threat." <Tag K'avada>
Taping his combadge " Bridge the medical team has arrived to start the scans of the Breen, I will keep you posted if there are any changes" <Tag Anybody>

As he returned Ensign Fire's orders, Savot regretted that there was nothing more interesting for the new officer to do, as he seemed quite eager and prepared. Nor was the vulcan suited to the sort of casual conversation that might typically accompany a new arrival. As he resumed his seat at the bridge's center; however, the turbolift opened to display Counselor Jackson who, upon glancing around the bridge a moment, immediately took to welcoming the new helmsman.
Inwardly acknowledging Jackson's impeccable timing, Savot then nodded his acknowledgement of Forbes' arrival and listened to the scientist outline the plan. Arching his eyebrows slightly as the human seemed to fluster himself in continued explanation, Savot simply nodded when he'd finished, "You have successfully conveyed your meaning, Mr. Forbes. With our departure from the planet there should be no life in danger at the site in question, but run a confirming scan, 25 kilometer radius before we begin."
Glancing briefly at the Ops station, the vulcan made a decision as he relieved the junior officer currently manning it. If they had a senior officer manning the post Savot would certainly have remained content to delegate, but with their success in this venture being so imperative he decided to align the El Salvador's deflector personally. It might have looked odd to the other observers on the bridge, the vulcan captain sitting down to the left of their new helmsman Ensign Fire; but to Savot it felt as natural as inhaling as he returned to the seat he'd donned for so long prior to being elevated to command.
As Forbes confirmed the zone was free of potential casualties, Wolf's voice chimed through the bridge, =^=Bridge the medical team has arrived to start the scans of the Breen, I will keep you posted if there are any changes.=^=
Tapping a control on the Ops console Savot replied immediately, =^=Acknowledged, ensure the Doctor gets everything he needs. Transfer of prisoners to sickbay is authorized on my order, but no more than 2 at once with 3 guards per, Savot out.=^= No sooner had he finished with Wolf; however, than the approaching Cardassians entered communication range and hailed them.
Being at Ops already, Savot was able to open a channel without having to order anyone else to do so, and was greeted by the appearance of the lead Gul. Before introductions could be made or explanations demanded; however, Savot interjected right off the bat, =^=Greetings, Gul, I am Captain Savot of the Federation starship El Salvador. We are currently engaged in dismantling a weapon of potentially 'planet-killing' capabilities and as such suggest you query the Klingon commander as to recent events. Given that this weapon's construction either took place without your knowledge, in which case it would likely have been used against your government; or with your knowledge which would be a violation of several treaties, in either case it is your best interests not to interfere with our actions. I apologize for the intrusion into your space, and can only seek to make amends by removing this potential risk to all Cardassian territory. El Salvador out.=^=
A single button-press was all that was required to remove the Gul's somewhat taken aback expression off of the main viewer, returning it once again to the image of the planet surface. Savot turned his head slightly to the right to address his navigator, "Mr. Fire, we shall need to maintain our current position as precisely as possible for the duration of the deflector pulses, or our targetting will be adversely affected. As my focus must remain on the deflector's alignment and output, you must inform me vocally if we shift position so that I can attempt to retarget the pulses, understood?"
<Tag Fire>
Nodding reassurance to Ensign Fire, Savot then looked toward the science station and gave Forbes a similar nod, "Ready on your mark, Mr. Forbes. Entering the first frequency measurements now; should we need to affect areas of different composition, read off the new soil's specifications and I will alter the deflector pulses accordingly."
Glancing to his sensors a final time to ensure the Cardassian ships weren't approaching to interfere, Savot then focussed on the deflector calibration and awaited the signal to begin 'firing'.

Watching the scene on the bridge and yet not being a part of it reminded Stacey of watching one of those historical holoprograms where scenes of importance were played out and the “characters” took no notice of your presence.
Stacey had seen scenes like this one many times in her life, and she always seemed to be on the outside looking in. In the Dominion War during the period of her life she had dubbed ‘her Reckless days’ she had volunteered for many front line ships that needed Counsellors she had never been permanently posted on one though, so she had never been a part of the crew so she did indeed only watch as things happened around her.
She brought her hand up and moved her fingers through her now ‘greying’ hair. In truth she would tell people, it was greying but as any one could see, it was now ninety percent grey with a few bits of her original black colour thrown in.
While she didn’t necessarily enjoy her grey hair, she had never taken the option of artificially changing it’s colour, she had found it gave her a look of wisdom which more often than not helped her in her frequent sessions with Starfleet officers.
Her eyes focused on Captain Savot whom had now left his Captains chair to occupy the Opps position, Stacey could not help but wonder if he felt a sense of comfort in that chair she had read his file knew that was the seat he served in under past captains. She dismissed the thought knowing that even if he did feel a sense of comfort and enjoyment being at his old station, he would never tell anyone else about it.
Stacey was lost in thought again, thinking about how Savot must feel at his old station made Stacey think of about where she had spent the last ten or so years of her life.
Her eyes closed and she could see the auditorium, the blue carpet the small desks her cadets would sit behind. The desk she would sit behind while she gave lectures on emotions and coping abilities. She had seen many cadets in her classroom.
The ones who wanted to be Counsellors. The ones who could not make up their mind between Medicine and Counselling and the Ones who were only there to pick up what they thought would be an easy class to gain credit to graduate.
Stacey had seen them all, Vulcan’s, Human’s, Bajoran’s.. even a big Klingon male cadet once although she still held the belief that he accidentally went to the wrong class.
Stacey’s attention was again brought to focus on the current situation when a Cardassian Gul appeared on the screen, however after a rather brief Statement from Savot, the screen made him disappear and brought the view back to the planet. Captain Savot then went on to issue orders to Ensign Fire and Forbes before turning back to his old station.
Stacey could feel a sense of relief that this planet killer would soon be put out of commission, there was no real evidence that it’s construction had began during the war however she held a strong feeling that it did, and by destroying it know they were putting old demons to rest.
While she wanted to watch it final moments... she knew she had something else to do, she stood up from the seat and made a slow walk to the observation lounge where it would be quite and her comm. Signal heard by the relevant people.
She entered the lounge and sat where the Captain would sit in a briefing and tapped the small console mounted in the large table for the captain’s use.
On the large screen behind her head the federation logo, it colours magnificent on the screen a beacon of hope of times of dire circumstances. It soon flashed away and was replaced by a service record an old service record, the Computer had made a match on the unknown officer that they had found on the planets surface.
She turned and looked at the young man, a one Ensign Cook, Jarred Cook.. She turned at used the console to scroll down his service record.
She found what she was looking for... a relative that was still alive... his closest living relative was Amanda Phillips.. Commander Phillips Stacey pulled up Amanda’s record and found her current posting.
The USS. Myriad. Stacey tapped the console and opened a channel. Marked personal and private to Amanda and the Myriad.
After a few minutes, the channel opened and Stacey stood facing the screen.
“Commander Phillips.. I am Commander Jackson of the USS El Salvador.. I have some bad news I feel you must know…. We found remains of a federation officer killed during the Dominion war... we have identified him as your brother Jarred… I am sorry.”
Amanda nodded before saying.
“Thank you… In truth, I held no hopes he was still alive but it is still hard to hear. What will happen to his remains?”
Stacey looked down before saying.
“That is up to you Commander.. If you like I can have them sent to the Myriad where you and your crew can give him the send off he deserves or our crew can do it.”
Amanda thought for a few moments before she looked up.
“He has waited long enough Commander... If you don’t mind please hold the proper ceremony on your ship... I said my goodbyes long ago.”
Stacey nodded.
“I understand Commander.. he will be given all the respect he has earned.. Commander Jackson out.”
Stacey stared at the screen now showing the federation logo once again as she thought to herself. ‘not quite finished burying old ghosts’
Unfortunately, the crew had two funerals now to attend to One for S’reena’s science officer and now one for this long lost hero of the war.
The computer console beeped it seemed as she was actively using the comm. Lines another written message had come through, assuming as it was her in the room it was for her she opened it.
She was surprised to read the following lines.
‘By order of Starfleet Command, Colonel Wolf is hereby promoted to the rank of Colonel First Class with all the privileges and responsibility’s that rank entails.’
Stacey raised her eyebrow.. her mind already working on a way to use the good news to an advantage to the moral of the crew.
“A party.”
She said to herself.. before thinking. ‘I am sure it won’t harm him to remain a Colonel until I can set it up’ the crew was due for shore leave soon and then would be the prefect time, her next job was setting it up so all of Wolf’s friends and senior staff would be there without him knowing.. she needed to keep him distracted and then it popped into her mind… Combat training.. she would take him up on his offer that would keep him somewhat distracted for long enough. She continued to stand in the briefing room waiting long enough to be sure that the Planet killer was now gone.
(OOC: apologies for the length)

Hearing his captains instruction he looked back up at there new CMO " Doc you can move the prisoners to sick bay after you do a quick scan for weapons hidden in there blood. You may move 2 at a time but you with have 4 marines present per Breen at all times. I ask that you don't switch out team members during the exam and you brief them on safety protocols"
While the doc went to work he went to his desk, the events on the planet had given him some concern. Commander Jackson would show up for combat training but Commander Hope on the other hand was a different story. He couldn't rely on her to show up with out a little push and for once he did have the authority to give that push.
He would push to hard but he was going to make sure she had little choice in the matter. Tapping his com badge he opened a channel to Commander Hope " Commander Hope I'm sorry if I caught you at a bad time. I'm informing you that as soon as you get cleared by sick bay you will report to holodeck 3 at least 2 times a week for hand to hand combat training. After recent events on the planet it has appeared that we could all use a refresher course. You may disagree but I'm in charge of the crew's training on this matter. You may bring your pet but are not allowed to use your link to help you during training. I do not expect you to show up tomorrow, after you are rested and cleared by sickbay I will expect you to attend. If you disagree with me you may take that up with the captain. Although I do suspect the captain will agree with me after recent events." <Tag Hope>
After finishing his conversation with Hope he opened another channel to his Marines " Sgt Hicks I want a honer Guard ready for funerals which will be coming shortly. We have two to prepare for make sure full dress uniforms are ready. Also I want a honor guard placed on there body's as of this moment. They died with honor and deserve the up most respect make sure that they are treated that way". His Marines up held a old tradition when it came to matters like this a guard in full dress uniform would stand watch over the body's until it was time to say good bye
Opening another channel to star fleet headquarters he got general stark on the line. " What can I do for you Wolfie"
" Sir we found a body from the war sir Jarred Phillips who was listed as lost and a science officer who's name I'm transmitting now. I would like you to make sure they are both awarded medals for there service. I was hoping you might fast track it so they can be given to the families as soon as possible"
" Consider it done Wolf I will be in touch with there families and present them myself. May sure they are give full honors"
'' Already done General and thank you sir"
" Its the least we can do for those who have fallen rest assured that they will be given the highest honors I can swing. I'll wait for Captain Savot's report to hit head quarters to pick the right medals. Jarred of course will get the medal of honor for his service after being listed lost for so long General Stark out"
Looking back up at there doc waiting to see what he was going to do. There wasn't much doubt in his mind he would want to move the Breen to sick bay Looking over at his gunny and not having to say a word. The gunny made arrangements to have 8 marines standing by in sick bay armed to the teeth.
Sitting back down at his station he prepared his report for the captain
" Captain Savot I have instructed Commander Hope to report to Holodeck 3 when she is rested and cleared by sickbay for hand to hand combat training. After recent events on the planet it is apparent the crew can use a refresher course on this matter. I have informed the Commander she may bring her pet lizard but may not use him for the training. I know this may sound unfair but I need to see what her body remembers first. I will allow her to use her lizard at a later time for the training. I have already talked to Commander Jackson and I'm sure she will volunteer. Commander Hope on the other hand dose not seem they type to do that with her current condition.
This is the main reason why I do not want her using her lizard. When Commander Jackson was taken in the tunnel nobody could see either. As you are aware sight can be fooled but human sense are much harder to fool. With the right training a person can defend them selves even if there blinded by relying on there senses. We can not depend on what we see all the time and there may come a time when Commander Hope is seperated from her lizard and will have to use what her body remembers."

Bridge
"Aye captain," Ian called from the science station, entering the data that would set off the program that would collapse the tunnel and bury/crush the planet killer. "Mark!" He kept close watch on the telemetry that came in, while trying to listen to Fire and Savot at the front consoles. He couldn't quite hear what Savot was ordering, but he got the gist of it.
"Ten percent," he called out, "increase power to deflector by zero point one eight percent, that should increase efficiency. Hold her steady now, fifteen percent completed." He continued to call out numbers and reports every odd second, feeling that he would have to report everything. The poor science officer was fairly inexperienced at bridge duty, preferring to spend his time at the science laboratories.
Chief Science Officer's Quarters - 15 minutes after bridge scene " Commander Hope I'm sorry if I caught you at a bad time. Although I do suspect the captain will agree with me after recent events."
Startled, S'reena sat up, sending Auric awing, chittering wildly. She listened as Wolf rambled on, wondering what the marine wanted this time. "I doubt I'll be reporting to the holodeck twice a week colonel," she answered curtly, "I have been cleared for duty by the EMH, well before the awayteam returned to the ship. I don't see how you can order me anywhere, since technically I do outrank you. And even if I chose to report, you cannot deny me my means of sensory perception. Auric is vital to my functioning as an officer, therefor you cannot demand that I do not communicate with her."
She paused, angrily grinding her teeth together. "You'll be sure to hear more of this as I do intend to take this up with the captain." She cut the marine off, called Auric to her, then stormed out of her home. "Bridge," she snapped, as the turbolift doors closed behind her.
She stormed out when it arrived on the bridge, visibly startling her assistant. "S'reena what're you doing here," he asked, rising to offer her his seat.
The Romulan ignored him, standing perfectly still as she listened. Auric chirped upon which she beelined for the operations console. "Captain, when you're done I'd like to have a word please. In private." From his immediate silence, she could tell he was busy, so she took a step back and waited impatiently for him to respond. "I'll wait in your readyroom," she stated, after an uncomfortably long silence.
Without waiting for dismissal, denial or even confirmation, she stalked away to the readyroom, and once inside, seating herself on the comfortable couch. Auric landed on her shoulder, wrapping her tail around the Romulan's neck, chirping softly as she folded her wings onto her back. Quietly, the creature curled up but peered at the door from between S'reena's hair, her eyes whirling slowly in a red/orange shade. It was clear the creature echoed her bondmate's agitation and anger.
After Savot entered - S'reena had no idea how long she'd been waiting, but she didn't feel any calmer - she rose to her feet and quickly explained what had transpired. Her displeasure at the orders to come at Wolf's beck and call, and the specific order to not use Auric, was quite evident. After a while though, she did calm down and only then did it occur to her that she had actually no idea what her commanding officer looked like.
The Romulan only had the images from Auric to go on, and since the golden creature was still very young and still learning to transmit accurate images, she could hardly go on them. When she realised a long silence had fallen, she shifted uncomfortably. "Captain, I have a personal request..." She faltered, clearly not sure of whether to ask at all. He'd already been extremely patient with her, and she didn't want to tax his patience any more. She knew from experience that even Vulcans had their limits.
"Of course, you may refuse as it does involve you," she explained, her voice faltering a second time. Auric chirped encouragingly and she took a deep breath. "I'd like to know what you look like," she finally said, the words tumbling out almost intelligeable. "I have no mental image to put to you. Only Wolf and Jackson do, as I have served with them before the incident that rendered me blind. I actually taught Mr Wolf in the academy."

(Sorry for being late on this I've been busy all week long and it'll only get worse I fear.)
“Hello Ensign I am Commander Stacey Jackson ships Counsellor, am I correct in assuming you are a new addition to the crew?”
The voice behind James had slightly startled him as he was so busy watching his station he didn't even hear the turbolift door open. He turned and smiled, "Yes sir."
“Well welcome aboard Ensign.. If you ever need anything please don’t hesitate to seek me out.”
"Thank you sir." He replied when he seen the Captain appear at the Ops station replacing another officer, this tact had slightly surprised him, but nontheless he accepted this change for a moment.
Shortly thereafter the appearance of a Cardassian appeared on the screen and he would look up watching the Gul's facial expression listening as Captain Savot explained to him the current situation.
"Mr.
He heard the Captain say something to him after the vanishing of the Gul's head from the screen and gave a sideways glance collecting the information. "Aye sir I will make sure that the ship doesn't move." He said and watched his controls in front of him including the data panel most carefully.

(Apologies for length)
Ensign Fire, for having just come aboard in the middle of a semi-crisis situation, conducted himself rather well. Upon hearing Savot's instructions he wasted no time in responding, "Aye sir I will make sure that the ship doesn't move."
"Aye captain," Ian called from the science station, entering the data that would set off the program that would collapse the tunnel and bury/crush the planet killer. "Mark!" He kept close watch on the telemetry that came in, "Ten percent," he called out, "increase power to deflector by zero point one eight percent, that should increase efficiency. Hold her steady now, fifteen percent completed."
On Forbes' mark, the vulcan had activated the El Salvador's main deflector dish and initiated the series of pulses that would close off and seal the Planet-Killer inside its housing shaft where the concentrations of both heat and pressure would destroy it beyond anyone's capacity to resurrect. "Increasing power, 0.18%... confirm efficiency increase of 3.7 percent."
Forbes continued to call out numbers and reports every odd second, Savot keeping both eyes and hands on the console and making adjustments as needed. Outside the ship there was little visible evidence they were doing anything, aside from the occasional blueish glow of the deflector as it charged another pulse.
By now their forced collapse had reached 68% completion, and the internal energy readings within the weapon began to diminish... and just as intended, the collapse of the surrounding rock left no escape avenue for the energy that drained out of the weapon's capacitors. The weapon's destructive energy was turned on itself and ravaged the device, but also as expected the energy level was too high to simply burn out within its rocky confines and so it began shooting out from the collapse point through existing cracks in the planet's mesosphere: sometimes flowing rather peacefully through... sometimes wrenching the cracks wider creating seismic disturbances over a 300 mile radius from the weapon's former location.
If anyone had been on the planet at the time, the environmental destruction would have seemed apocalyptic, and there'd certainly be nothing left of the makeshift base the Breen or the Klingons had fashioned for themselves. However, since no sentient life had yet developed on the world, the tremors were able to occur in a comparatively harmless fashion... the only lasting effects likely being the eventual formation of jagged valleys, plateaus, perhaps even containing large bodies of water one day to form lakes.
All in all, Savot was quite satisfied as he looked at the readouts of his Ops console, then nodding to Fire and Forbes, "Well done, gentlemen." Though they no longer had an active role to play, scientific caution dictated that they remain in orbit for the next several hours at least to confirm that no catastrophic damage had been done to the planet's innards. So it was into this comparatively dull routine that S'reena Hope stepped from the turbolift.
Savot did not notice the arrival at first as his attention was still on the console, but he could not help but hear Forbes' exclamation of surprise, "S'reena what're you doing here," Ian asked, rising to offer her his seat.
As Savot turned in his seat to see if the Romulan had indeed come to the bridge to assume her post, he saw that did not appear to be the case. The Romulan ignored Forbes, standing perfectly still as she listened. Auric chirped upon which she beelined for the operations console. "Captain, when you're done I'd like to have a word please. In private."
Arching an eyebrow at Hope's apparent displeasure at something, Savot nodded as he spoke, "The weapon has been destroyed; I can be with you in just a moment."
"I'll wait in your readyroom," Hope stated, and just as quickly stormed to that location. Taking one last look at his sensors, Savot gestured to the junior officer to resume the Ops station, and rose to enter the Ready Room. Though he briefly saw her seated on the room's couch, upon his entrance she rose to her feet and quickly explained what had transpired as the bridge doors whooshed closed.
Savot listened to her explanation and complaint, and nodded his understanding of all points as he listened, though clearly that was only out of habit and not for Hope's visual benefit. He'd remained standing as she spoke, but as she finished he invited her to resume her seat on the couch if she so desired, while he himself sat in the chair across the desk from his usual seat. As he sat, a message popped up on his desk computer and he turned the machine to face him as he read it silently and, unsurprisingly, the message was from Mr. Wolf.
Savot read the message in its entirety before turning back to face S'reena, "Pardon the interruption, Commander, I just received Mr. Wolf's 'side of the story' as it were. Though I believe the idea has merit and his intentions are certainly positive and not intended to offend, his methodology has clearly displeased you. Of course, you cannot be forced to participate in this training, a fact I will pass on to the Colonel as well. However, I deeply value every member of my crew and as such encourage any preparation that increases the likelihood of their safety."
Folding his right foot atop his left knee, Savot clasped his fingers together and folded his hands in his lap as he continued, "It is by definition the duty of a ship's security personnel to ensure the safety of the entire ship's compliment, though as has been demonstrated by this mission, their efforts will not always succeed and in those moments any crewmember's safety will rest solely on his or her abilities. As such, I believe you will see the potential benefit of such training should you consider it from a scientist's perspective; and if you choose to partipate your familiar will not be denied you in the initial phases. If for whatever reason you prefer not to train with Mr. Wolf, I'm sure Mr. Roberts will have no objection, or I can make myself available as duty permits. But still I will not order you to pursue any of these options."
The vulcan broke off from his rather long-winded statements, allowing Hope to digest his words and compose a response if she felt like giving one at this time. After a few silent moments; however, she broached a completely different subject, "Captain, I have a personal request..." She faltered, perhaps uncertain if she should continue.
Savot's brow rose in its usual manner, and he replied, "Intriguing", both with regard to the statement that she had once taught Wolf and the request she had made of him. He also could recall only a handfull of times that fellow crewmembers had ever made a personal request of him. He tilted his head slightly in curiosity as he spoke, "I have no objection, Commander. What method did you have in mind for acquiring said mental image?"

The Romulan pondered on that for a moment, the captain's words still sinking in, in regards to the offer of training with her himself. She shook her head slightly, dismissing that notion. She would train with Wolf, but on her terms, not his.
Auric warbled, returning her attention to the situation at hand. Taking another few deep breaths, she gathered her courage, knowing full well that Vulcans preferred not to be touched; especially not by an emotionally volatile species such as hers. "By touch," she replied softly, reaching out with her left hand. "Some guidance would be appreciated," she requested, smiling nervously.
She'd never done this before to anyone but her own family - to practice as she knew what they looked like. She felt the captain take her hand in guidance and held her breath as her fingers brushed against his face. His skin felt soft to the touch and she had to actively remind herself what she was doing.
She felt the pressure of Auric on her shoulder ease as the little creature lifted off. The little gold found a perch on the captain's desk, her eyes sparkling a curious shade of green/orange in anticipation of S'reena's thoughts. She peered at the pair, observing and feeding images of her own, learning in the mean time.
After a few minutes, S'reena dropped her hand, taking a step back while bowing her head. "Thank you," she said, while raising her head again to face him. "I hope it caused you no discomfort. If it did, please allow me to apologise, it was not my intention." She paused. "I have decided to report to Wolf for training," she informed him after a brief silence, "but I do appreciate your offer. It is best that Wolf sees to it, and as you said, Auric may learn too." She felt calmer, and realised now she'd been somewhat foolish in her response.

James listened as each number was called off continuing to make corrections to the ship's thrusters causing the vessel to remain steady his focus was important as the deflector continued to fire pulses onto the planet. His own sensors showing the slow destruction of whatever it was that the crew had ran into before he'd arrived on board.
Coming in the middle of a mission had caused him some lack of information in the current situation, but soon someone came onto the bridge and he would listen to the woman's voice, it was one he'd not heard yet as she talked to the Captain, before he told her to go into the ready room.
Not much longer after that the object on the surface was finally decimated and Captain Savot accompanied his guest in the ready room. Now it was time to do nothing but watch and make sure that his sensor readouts weren't unusual from where he was seated. However, he was still slightly busy making sure the ship remained at her exact point so that the readouts for the science and operations stations would remain there. I need to meet my new crew as soon as my duty ends, and perhaps go to sickbay to get a simple checkup so that they have my medical record on board.

OOC: sorry long over due
Sam looked at the Breen and a shiver went through him. He found the Breen odd. He couldn't read their minds, this was the most bothering. Sam took a deep breath and walked up to the Breen. "I'm Dr. K'Vada CMO. Do you require medical attention." Sam said. The Breen remained silent. "Then not" Sam said to himself. At that moment his medical research team entered. "Good people listen up." Sam said "I know we know each other not so well, but it will have to do for now. We can investigate the Breen, The Capt. asked specifically more data on their brain function. So Souhami take a deep brain scan." Sam ordered more people to do a specific function.
** After 3 hours** "Col. Wolf I've examined the Breen to the full capability that is possible here. I'd Like one or two Breen to take to Sickbay." Sam asked " Doc you can move the prisoners to sick bay after you do a quick scan for weapons hidden in there blood. You may move 2 at a time but you with have 4 marines present per Breen at all times. I ask that you don't switch out team members during the exam and you brief them on safety protocols" Wolf replied "Thank you. I've Scanned the Breen for hidden weapons. There aren't any in their body's, Since the Breen haven't got Blood a chemical explosive isn´t possible. Sam replied "I'll bring the Breen into stases when they are in Sickbay. I'll prep sickbay, we can transport them in 15 minuets." " I'll make the arrangements" Wolf replied.
--Sickbay, 15 minutes later-- ==^==K'Vada to Wolf, We can begin transporting the Breen==^== ==^==We'll do. Wolf out==^== At that moment two Breen materialised in sickbay. There were 8 marines standingby. Sam sedated them ASAP. "I'm glad that you are here." Sam said to the marines "I wouldn't do this without you." "No problem, Sir" a chief petty officer said. "Well people lets continue. On the preliminay brainwave scan I saw some interesting brainwaves. I'd like a extensive brainwave scan, a neurotransmitterscan and a tissue conductive scan of the digestive tract." Sam said. "Yes Doctor." the team replied. Sam took up a hand scaner and scanned the thorax of the breen. He looked at the meter and uttered to hisself "no wonder they haven't got blood. Their bodytemperatue is simply to cold for blood, they would have infarctions within 10 minutes." "sorry sir." Souhami asked "Nothing in particular." Sam replied "Souhami look at this. What do you make of this." And sam showed his scanner. "It is some sort of liquid flowing only through the most central part of the extremities." Souhami replied "Yes but I can't findout the composition of the liquid. Of course there are some peptides, nucleotides and fatty acids but it's not all." Sam said "We need a scientist." ==^==Cmdr. K'Vada to Cmdr. Hope, I'd like your opinion on some liquid I found inside the Breen==^== [TAG: S'reena]
