"That is fine by me, she has been through a great ordeal today, but I will not be returning to the bridge," Ezdreiana said," I must coordinate with Trill authorities on investigating the attack on me today. I also need to work on getting that encryption decoded."
“You must do as you think is best ambassador,” T'Val replied calmly, “however I need not remind you to not strain yourself? You must rest, and you must eat.” She handed over a hypospray and a nearly empty vial. “Inject yourself with this, should you find the need. It will help you remain focused. It contains only one dose, so I will leave it to your judgement on when you need to use it. I need to check on Miss Laurana now. Please excuse me.”
"Once she feels ready, please ask Laurana to join me in the science level three decks down," Ezdreiana said as she quietly left sickbay and got down to work.
T'Val didn't acknowledge the Trill's departure but headed straight for Laurana. “You are safe now,” she reassured the woman as she sat herself at her side. There was little to do now so she had time to take a moment for herself. The Vulcan seemed to tire easily, considering the changes her body was going through. And she would not put herself in any risk that might cause her to lose her child.
T'Val was still at her side and Laurana grasped her hand.
"Thank you for your help. I know now we shall be at Assailant soon."
“It is illogical to thank me,” T'Val replied quietly, though she was grateful to be acknowledged in her efforts. “I have no doubt that Magellan will be pleased to see you again. Once you feel fit enough, Ambassador Ezdreiana requests your presence at science level three.”
"Will you join me with Ezedriana?"
“If you desire my presence, I will join you,” T'Val said, “however I must remind you that I am a healer, not a scientist. And as a civillian, access to various parts of a ship are limited to me. I am but a simple healer ma'am, though I am married to a Starfleet doctor, and the ex-wife of a Romulan diplomat.” It had given her some status, but none she ever abused. “I will respect the captain's authority if he limits my access.”
