White long hair, pale blue eyes, no antennae. (see medical record) Skintone pale blue with light brown spots running down either side of her face. Due to her half-Trill nature, yes the spots do run down the length of her body too. Thanks to life-long training, Kesha is lithe on her feet and very agile, despite balance issues which are kept in check due to medications taken. Since she is capable of vocal communication and quite adept at reading bodylanguage (even Vulcans), she is able to hide the fact that she's deaf to a certain degree. Is unable to cover for her colour blindness, but she has taken appropriate measures to avoid mistakes in her field.

Personality & Traits
General Overview
Date of Birth
On the standard Federation calendar, Kesha is born on November 1 2372
Place of Birth
Trill Homeworld
Medical Record
Due to being half Andorian and half Trill, her appearance is a combination of both heritages as described under appearance. Since she lacks antennae, which are vital to an Andorian since they provide a sense of balance, hearing as well as colour to vision, Kesha was born deaf and colour blind.
In combat situations, Kesha relies on an implant which can provide her with a sense of hearing, however during her normal duties, she relies mostly on sign language. She can't wear the implant for hours on end as it'll cause a sensory overload. She has learned to live with her colour blindness and compensates for it. To regain a sense of balance Kesha relies heavily on medication for which she has a subscription with the chief medical officer, wherever she is assigned. It is supplied to her covertly, as none need to know but the CMO and her commanding officer.
Qualifications
Advanced tactical training, Medical degree in Xeno-medicine thereby specialising in Trill and Andorians.
Due to being deaf, Kesha is always attended by a young male Trill crewman named Aidan Datari. He interprets for her when she isn't using her implant. Aidan does not intrude upon her privacy, and is not romantically involved with her. If anything, Kesha treats him like a younger brother. Aidan is 19 standard years old and bears the rank of crewman 2nd class.
Strengths & Weaknesses
Strength: She is stubborn in that she wills herself to achieve the tasks set to her. She is a fierce warrior thanks to the training her father gave her since she was but a child. Like many Andorians, she is very loyal, yet she has the gentleness of her Trill mother.
Weakness: Deaf and colour blind
Ambitions
One day, Kesha hopes that she'll regain full use of her hearing using such an implant that it won't cause her sensory overload after prolonged use.
Hobbies & Interests
Combat scenario's played out on the holodeck, engaging in mock-fights with her father whenever she has the opporunity. On a more pleasant front, Kesha also enjoys other holodeck games such as velocity but also holonovels. Outside the holodeck, she enjoys spending times with her friends and isn't too picky on how she spends it.
Personal History Kesha was born to Thelev ch'Zensev, an Andorian General in Starfleet, and Zorlanna Patan, a joined Trill junior diplomat. Due to her mixed heritage, Kesha was born deaf and colour blind. From a young age on, she learned to communicate with the help of Betazoid tutors, who allowed her to 'hear' the sounds of words in her mind. Therefor she is quite capable of communicating vocally, thereby relying heavily on seeing another person speak as well as gestural language.
As her mother was away often on diplomatic duties, the rearing of her befell mostly to her militaristic father. It was therefor no surprise that Kesha opted to join the marine corps when she was sixteen standard years old. She was rejected at first because she was too young but was told to enlist instead and then apply to the academy for the officer program as soon as she was eighteen years old.
While on training in her final year at the academy, a fellow Trill officer was gravely injured and died as a result of his injuries. The officer was a joined Trill and first host to the symbiont Andier. As only other Trill present, despite her hybrid nature, Kesha was the most logical choice, also because the only other Trill, a very young female cadet, refused to be joined, not even when it was determined that she was the only really viable option. Thus, the choice befell to Kesha, who felt honour bound to bond with the symbiont and thereby allow it to live.
Since a joining is permanent after 96 hours, by the time Kesha returned home to Trill, the joining could not be reverted and the bonding was permanent. As a result of this emergency joining, Kesha felt obligated to change her field from tactical officer within the marine corps to medical officer. She felt dutybound to learn as much as possible in regards to joinings as well as to help out other species in need. While still tactically trained and keeping up her skills to honour her father, Kesha successfully changed her field and graduated third in her class in the medical field, thereby earning her medical degree and the right to use the title 'doctor'.
Despite being a doctor, the young hybrid officer does prefer to be addressed by her rank. After successfully graduating Starfleet Academy, second Lieutenant Kesha Andier was transferred to the USS Republic, to serve as marine medical officer, thereby taking charge of main sickbay. Kesha knows she has big shoes to fill in as a chief medical officer, in a Starfleet position, but doesn't shy away from a challenge.
Being not even fifty years old, Andier is considered to be a young symbiont. Ensign Tobias Zhoven was his first host, and they had not been joined for very long when the ensign was met with an unfortunate accident. Kesha is his second host and he hopes to be joined with her for a very long time to come. The abrupt death of Tobias has left the young symbiont shaken and traumatized, though his joining with the hybrid Andorian/Trill seems to be stable. Only occasionally does the hybrid host need additional injections of isoboramine, and mainly does so in the event of injury or severe stress. Injections are always necessary after combat situations, where Kesha requires the use of her implant in order to hear orders being given.
Service Record 2387 - Graduated Starfleet Medical School and assigned to USS Republic
