CSS Meeting Agenda July 2012
In attendance:
Section Admiral Stacey Jackson - Site CO
Fleet Admiral Karynn McCormick - Site XO
Fleet Admiral Magellan Lin - Site SO
Rear Admiral Sonak Reckus - Biographies Officer
Commodore Carl Torek - Ranks Officer
Captain Will Jamison - Trivia Officer
None Voting Members present:
Commander Valad Tavik - Assistant Recruitments Officer/ Proxy for Admiral Smith
Item One: Merging Commendations and Biographies.
With a new Personnel Officer coming in, Commendations needs to be moved to a more viable department, with Biographies shrinking responsibilities it is the most logical place. CSS discussed merging Commendations and Biographies to streamline the departments, CSS was in agreement that it was a beneficial move and voted.

Item Two: (Classified Confidential in public minutes)
Item Three: Ratify the constitution.
CSS discussed the changes proposed by Section Admiral Jackson and Fleet Admiral McCormick, CSS had no objections to the changes and held a vote. Some concern was raised that not enough time had been allowed to review the changes so it was decided that the topic could be re-visited next month should anyone find fault with the changes before then. (Changes will be shown on the boards as soon as possible)

Item Four: Resignation of Section Admiral Stacey Jackson, and a vote for her replacement.
Last week CSS was informed that Section Admiral Stacey Jackson was going to stand down, CSS was asked to propose candidates to replace her. After discussion the candidates were, Commodore Carl Torek, Rear Admiral Steven Smith and Former Section Admiral Paul Drew.
The qualifications of all candidates were discussed at length and they were all agreed to be capable replacements, in the end a vote was called.
Vote for Retired Section Admiral Paul Drew to become Section Admiral.
Ayes: 5 (Section Admiral Jackson did not provide a vote but offered full support)
Nays: 0
Abstentions: 0
Motion Passed.
As of the distribution of these minutes Paul Drew will be Section Admiral, Retired SA Jackson congratulates him and wishes him the best of luck.
Motion 5: future rank of retired Section Admiral Jackson.
Stacey Jackson had requested her rank not drop to the customary Fleet Admiral, she asked that the rank of Vice Admiral be granted CSS discussed this and held a vote.

Nays: 0
Abstentions: 1
Motion passed as of release of these minutes Stacey Jackson will hold the rank of Vice Admiral.
