“This is Commander Matthew,” Nika introduced. “Chief Operations Officer, and Ensign Roberts, Chief Tactical/Security Officer.” "Welcome to our humble home," Lillian said with a sheepishly smile. She would need to make them feel at home, but she also had to make sure that they didn't find out to much about what was going on."Before we start Captain, I'm afraid that no types of weapons are allowed from this point on. Our research is highly volatile and any discharge can destroy the complex. This information of course was partially true, and it obviously made the Starfleet officer uncomfortable. Lillian saw the discomfort of the security officer and tried to relax his fears. "We don't bite ensign," Lillian said almost laughing," we're only scientist." It wasn't long before one of them found an excuse to leave the group, and Lilian of course allowed him to separate himself. She was confident that the information passed on would not hurt them. All communications that came into the facility were recorded on real time. As she saw Commander Matthews approach, Lillian began the tour. "If you follow me, we will tour the dome.....excuse me. One moment please." "Doctor a word please," Mitchell, one of her researchers, said. Lillian followed him to his console, and got the information that she needed. It seemed that the ship had tried to scan them. That of course failed, but it also told them that the Captain didn't trust them. "Thanks Mitchell, continue with those reports," Lillian loud enough for the three officers to hear. "Tell everyone to be on high alert," she whispered. "Now, like I was saying...This is the Dome, where we have our control station," Lillian said," this is where we oversee all of our research." "As you know our research is very dangerous," Lillian said,"but the benefits outweigh those fears. Now please follow me, we'll go see the labs next." <Tag everyone> OOC: Gentleman and lady , don't hesitate to prod. I won't take it to badly,

[glow=blue,2,300]John looked at the captain and frowned, Dr. Lillian Diego didn't notice.
"Dr, would you mind if I took a look around by myself"? asked John.
"Yes, I do as it happends"? she repllied.
"May, I ask why is that"? "he asked with a rarther accusing sound.
Dr. Lillian Diego snaped "None of you bussiness", although John didn't want to the captain gave him one of them looks, 'apoligise' so he did "I am sorry for causing any offence"

The away team was in an uncomfortable enviroment. Soemthing was amiss and everybody was on edge. The situation was rather like leaning a green pea on the edge of a plate, it could go either way without a lot of effort.
As Chief Engineer- Wigram was charged with making sure in such situations the crew could get the away team out of the situation, the transporters might still be a problem, so a shuttle maybe needed.
Wigram: Johns- Get a shuttle ready with type 7 boosters, it will get the shuttle to the planet very quickly.
Johns: What about the shuttle getting back out of the atmosphere?
Wigram: Well....um...... just gets the type 7s ready- we can cross that particular bridge when and if we come to it.
A smile crept across Wigrams faces as a smile beamed on Johns- the relationship was softening already. The shuttle situation was a good one- if they put type 8s or even 9s onto the shuttles it could lead to over acceleration and possible disintergration of the shuttle- but type 7s maynot have the thrust needed. It was a balancing act- enough power to get down, but little enough so the shuttle got down in one piece- it was than Wigram thought a type 7.5 would be useful.

VYIMI II
When Commander Matthew rejoined the group Nika noticed that he seemed to be waiting for a chance to talk to her. When Ensign Roberts asked Dr. Diego a question, Nika nodded Commander Matthew off to the side, and waited for him to say what he wanted to talk about.
“Lieutenant Krill found that the dome is blocked by high level energy readings coming from it. This also means that we can't transport out, unless the scientists are willing to stop their research.”
Nika frowned. “Can we still transport people in?” she asked, her mind already thinking of the worst possible scenario, if they were attacked.
Commander Matthew nodded, and Nika relaxed fractionally. “And engineering is preparing a shuttle to send down.”
“Thank you,” Nika said, then the two officers returned to the group. Dr. Diego seemed to be getting a little upset over whatever Ensign Roberts was asking for, but as Nika rejoined the group the Chief Tactical/Security Officer glanced quickly at her then apologized.
Nika had a question of her own that she asked the head scientist: “You mentioned earlier that the benefits from your research outweighed the fears, what kind of benefits are you talking about?” Nika asked. She had met people before who would die to gain just a little bit more knowledge, and Nika figured that she could have more of a clue depending on how the doctor answered the question.

VICTORY
Lt. Commander Jameson, operations officer while Commander Matthew was on the planet, directed the incoming communication from Starfleet Command to the main screen.
“Captain?” asked the image.
Commander Rylka stood up from the chair. “Commander Rylka, First Officer,” she said.
“This is about the colony-Vyimi II, Captain Cir'Kem asked us what we knew.”
“Ah, yes,” Commander Rylka replied, nodding. “The head scientist informed us that the colony was in no danger whatsoever, and Captain Cir'Kem wanted to know about the distress signal you first received.”
The admiral onscreen paused before replying, and Commander Rylka suddenly realized what was bothering her about the conversation. There was a barely noticeable time lag, which was itself surprising, subspace communications traveled at a speed of over fifty times the fastest starship. Before she could think about more about the time lag the admiral was answering. “Yes. It was an anonymous message, but it used communication codes that no more than five people aboard the station would know.”
“Which five people?” Commander Rylka asked, thinking that would certainly help.
“I'm afraid I can't tell you,” the Admiral replied.
Commander Rylka raised her eyebrows. “What are our orders then?” she asked.
“Continue to investigate the situation. Starfleet Command believes Vyimi II is presently in danger, but it was a pet project of a high-ranking admiral.”
Commander Rylka nodded. She understood all the implications of what the Admiral had just told her. “One more question,” she said. “Is there anything in ship specifications about stopping transporter signals or phasers harming the labs?”
“Yes, both of those seem accurate,” the admiral replied.
Commander Rylka frowned, then closed the comm channel, and tapped her commbadge. </\>Commander Rylka to Captain Cir'Kem</\>
VYIMI II
Nika heard the commbadge chirp, and thought about how she would excuse herself. She managed to do so and heard from Commander Rylka. The news she gave was quite interesting, and Nika returned to the group, and asked another question, before the group entered the lab.
Nika turned to Dr. Diego. “Why live in a planetary dome?” Nika asked. “This planet hardly seems hospitable, so why not have an orbital space station? It wouldn't cost much more to make, and it would be much less isolated from help.”

The transporters were still misbehaving, they were not alligning properly, even when trying to transport on the ship, however this was a slightly different problem from the one which was preventing reasonable transport to the planet. 2 Teams were working on bringing the transporters into line.
Wigram thought the bets thing he could do would be the bring the Commanding Officer up to date. Of course the Captain was on the planet so he made his way to the bridge to meet with Commander Rylka.
Once on the bridge he saw the Commander just finishing some communications, so he waited until all seemed a little quieter, so he would not disturb things too much.
Wigram: Commander- Do yu have a few minuites?
Rylka: Of course, how can i help?
Wigram: More to the point, I thought I should bring you up to speed, about the transporter systems.
Rylka: Yes- I hope you are working on them- as we still need them urgently.
Wigram: Of course- I am trying to work through them but it seems to be more troublesome- I am begining to think the problem maybe non ship and non planet related.
Rylka: So any idea of the causes?
Wigram: Perhaps man made problems, a transport blocker? It is very complex as we can usually detect blockers, but in this case trying to find the problem has been near impossible.

"Dr, would you mind if I took a look around by myself"? asked John.
"Yes, I do as it happens"? Lillian responded miffed. Why did they feel the need to barge into other people's work.
"May, I ask why is that"? "he asked with a rather accusing sound.
"That is none of your business Ensign," Lillian snapped making sure to put emphasize on his rank. She had the gut feeling that things were getting worse as time went along. The Captain and her officer's clearly didn't trust her.
“You mentioned earlier that the benefits from your research outweighed the fears, what kind of benefits are you talking about?” Nika asked.
"Yes I did," Lillian said smiling," we have come up with a way to power an entire planet with a bi-product of stars. One pound of this substance can power Earth for a decade."
Lillian of course wouldn't tell them that the substance could be created into a weapon source, but her first explanation awed them anyways. It annoyed Lillian when, the Captain once again excused herself to talk to her ship. They of course already knew that they couldn't transport out. As long as Lillian kept there suspicions at bay everything would be fine.
“Why live in a planetary dome?” Nika asked. “This planet hardly seems hospitable, so why not have an orbital space station? It wouldn't cost much more to make, and it would be much less isolated from help.”
"Because, the substance that we are working with is very dangerous," Lillian responded," on a orbital space station, we would have no way to dispose of the material. Here we are able to send the material down the geothermal canyons on this planet."
"Wouldn't that be dangerous?" Captain Cir'Kem asked.
"On any other planet yes," Lillian said," Vyimi is covered in an element that negates any type of explosion into extreme steam. That's why your Ensign had to give up his phaser, if it interacted with the planet's atmosphere the station would heat up to 546 C in a matter of seconds. All that would be left would be a sea of water."
"Now if you want to continue, please follow me," Lillian said.

Kaylee finished with Wigram's physical and moved on to the next one. She noticed the woman was very patient.
"Must be good to be able to be as patient as you have been, wish I were," Lee said and smiled. The woman took a seat.
"At my age dearie, you understand what it is like to wait for things in life, and you let them come to you instead of going to things for the moments that may never count. I have been pretty healthy all my life. Never a disease that couldn't be cured, never an injury that wasn't fixed properly. I am allergic to a few things, but that is food, nothing medicine wise. Did I forget anything?" She said, and Kaylee is shocked a little. The woman smiled sweetly.
Kaylee started to scan her, and noticed she was right about a few things, some of the old broken bones had healed nicely.
"Do any of these old wounds cause artheritis to appear?" She asked.
"Yes, a couple of them do, but I have learned to live with it," was the response.

The meeting with the First Officer had been completed. The situation was one of confusion, it was easy for people to block transporters from a planet, but how could they be blocking the transporters without the sensors detecting how it was happening.
The options were simple, either they were not blocking the transporters and it was soemthing malfunctioning onboard the ship. Or there was a local phenomenon blocking the transporters and the sensors could not detect it. or lastly they were blocking the transporters and it was either too simple for the sensors to notice or too complex for them to notice.
To follow up with the simple theories Wigram decided they must look at the most obvious first. They needed to check for simple problems which could be blocking the transporters.
Once back in his home ground- i.e. Engineering- Wigram decided to test out some of his theories. He needed the sensors so the Science department would come into its own. of course there was not an appointed Chief Science Officer- but the best could be made of the experianced staff.
Wigram: This is Chief Engineer Wigram: Can a the Science department please send a Science Officer to the Engineering.
Science Officer: Any special area of expertise needed Sir?
Wigram: Someone with a keen analytical eye and the ability to not miss simplicitys.
Science Officer: Very good- that will be Ensign Lang, we will send her down ASAP.
Wigram: Excellent- Thankyou- Wigram out.
After about 35 minuites a short delicate featured Ensign appeared, she was so delicate in appearance it looked as if a slight wind could have knocked her over- luckily there were very few winds on starships.
Lang: Can you direct me to Ensign Wigram please?
Wigram: Of course- go in that direction for 2 paces and than turn full circle and you will have found him.
Lang: Ah- a joker i see, we were not told you had a sense of humour.
Wigram: Dont worry it is rarely fatal.
Lang: Can we get down to paces, why do you need me.
Wigram: Yes- I need you to find out why the transporters are being blocked.

“Where did you put Ensign Robert’s phaser?” Nika asked, her voice full of polite curiosity. At Dr. Diego’s immediately suspicious glance Nika modified her statement to make it clear what she had originally meant. “So it doesn’t interact with the planetary atmosphere?” She noted the way the head scientist had reacted to Nika’s original question, and it confirmed her suspicions that something was wrong. If there wasn’t a problem Dr. Diego shouldn’t worry about whether or not Nika knew where to find a phaser.
<Tag Dr. Diego>
Nika nodded, and stayed silent to let the Dr. Diego lead her. The station was sounding like an increasingly inhospitable place to live on, and Nika got the impression from the looks of the scientists the group passed that they would rather the Starfleet officers left. But Nika also knew that someone here had asked Starfleet for help, and she doubted anyone here would actually want to be left if the danger was real.
Nika wondered what Dr. Diego was going to show them, and whether the head scientist was going to let them talk to anyone else. Nika knew that the Diego likely had a busy schedule, and while she appreciated the scientist taking time out of her day Nika wasn’t sure why Dr. Diego didn’t pass her over to some underling.
It looked like the group had a way to go before their destination, and Nika asked a question that had been bugging her for a while. “Does the colony have any way to protect itself?” Nika asked. There hadn’t been any well-armed ships in orbit of the planet, and with the research base this close to Klingon space Nika would expect at least one. Of course, that would also mean the Victory wouldn’t have been asked to come here to help out, and Nika was beginning to think that would have been for the best.

“Where did you put Ensign Robert’s phaser?” Nika asked, her voice full of polite curiosity. “So it doesn’t interact with the planetary atmosphere?”
"What?" Lillian asked surprised at the question, which quickly changed. Lillian immediately cursed herself, she had shown to much emotion. By the looks of the Captain, her response had given her some insight. Insight that Lillian had hoped would not manifest.
Lillian the ultimate actress quickly recovered and continued on there tour. She hated doing it, but couldn't trust one of her scientist to do the task. If she could slip they surely would take them all down. She didn't want to kill Bryan, but he had it coming. His betrayal was evident in the form of the people in front of her. It was he who contacted Starfleet, but that didn't matter now. She would continue with there plans, and if it meant destroying the Victory so be it.
“Does the colony have any way to protect itself?” Nika asked.
"We have minimum phasers, but our defense is our research," Lillian said," no one wants to be close to this star. They are afraid that one of the sun flares might destroy there ship." Lillian of course would not inform them that they held a weapon that could easily destroy them. A weapon that could not be scanned and one that could easily disable any Federation force field.
"Now, please follow me," Lillian said," I will show you one of many test." Lillian knew that it was a risk showing them this, but it was a risk that must be taken. The group reached a panel of windows which showed many devices. One of those devices held a miniscule amount of the substance, which she named Dymitsium.
"As you can see, a portion of our base is unoccupied and completely lacking of power," Lillian explained," this is due to the recent activity of the sun and our lack of conventional energy. I'm going to use the Dymitsium to power the entire facility."
Lillian was enthralled with her creation. If any of the officers with her were scientist they would be amazed at what they were about to see. Hopefully this would ease there minds and make them leave.
"Beginning process in 4.3.2.1," the computer said as the Dymitsium began the fusion process. As this was happening, Lillian was approached by one of her scientist who whispered…
"They have arrived early."

Rylka: Cmdr Rylka to Engineering
Wigram: Ensign Wigram here Ma'am.
Rylka: How are the repairs on the transporter coming?
Wigram: I am sorry to say that I cannot be very positive about repairs. Soemthing is now blocking the transporters, or at least I believe that to be the case. I have now started working with representitives from the Science Department. So hopefully we may have some better news soon.
Rylka: Very well keep working on it, and let me know as soon as they are up and running.
Wigram: Yes Indeed.
He got back over to where the new sqeeky clean Science Representitive Ensign Lang was working. She was imputting data into the screen far faster than Wigram could read it.
Wigram: Lang- have you got anything for me?
Lang: Well not really- give me a chance- I have only been here 5 minuites.
Wigram: No you have not- you have been here 3 hours. We need results. I have got 2 crewman at you disposal so please go ahead and use them. Also your department will be dedicating more resources.
Lang: I work best alone.
Wigram: You may do. But keep me in the loop.
A this stage he decided he had enough of the retch. So turning he moved to his own console and started to find ways of bossting power and focus on the transporters- without compromising other systems. It may work it may not.
Later in the day Wigram had diverted more power to the transporter systems, therebye boosting the signal. Making sure he was communicating with the Science department he walked towards Lang.
Wigram: Ensign Lang. I have boosted the focusing system of the transporters so I am going to try them out.
Lang: Ok.
With the abrupt response Wigram went to the holodeck, he imputted all the information so he could recreate the current situation. he did not fancy transporting things in real life.
OFF: Thats fine Commander (FO/ XO) it fits, thankyou.

“We have minimum phasers, but our defense is our research,” Dr. Diego said. “No one wants to be close to this star. They are afraid that one of the sun flares might destroy there ship.”
Nika nodded warily. She knew the Victory officers didn't seem to believe there would be any immediate danger from sun flares, but the Victory was better shielded than many other ships. Still, Nika would think that if sun flares were such a problem someone from science or operations would have brought it up. Besides, if the sun flares were likely to damage a ship in orbit they were doubly dangerous to a station, since planet atmospheres were always tenuous at best.
Nika also noticed that Diego said 'our research' rather than 'our location,' which either meant they had something besides phasers to attack with, or it meant nothing at all. Nika decided it was likely the latter, and she was reading too much into word choice again. She tended to do that a lot, since it was what she was, culturally, used to. Since Nika hadn't met anyone else who had grown up on Firont, she sometimes put herself in the unfortunate position of having interpreted words in a way the speaker obviously didn't intend.
Nika watched as Dr. Lillian Diego ordered the experiment to be set up. What Dr. Diego was suggesting, that they could actually glean so much power from a bi-product of the stars, had seemed completely fantastical when Dr. Diego had first suggested it, but now they were evidently going to see a demonstration. Nika was quite interested in seeing it, and she also wondered how long it would be until this powered Earth, and then how much longer it took to make it to more isolated, but still Federation worlds. Nika didn't know, but she was aware that it would probably never make it to Firont, due to choices her people had made. The thought saddened her some, before she forced her thoughts back to what the scientist was showing her.
The scientist left to consult with another scientist, and Nika only wondered that it hadn't been necessary before now. A positive of Dr. Diego's short absence from the conversation was that the scientist had lost the ground to be truly upset when Nika tried to talk with her own crew.
Nika's thoughts of Dr. Diego pretty much vanished when the computer began the Dymitsium fusion process. The fusion wasn't by itself impressive, but Nika understood a fair bit of what was going in and found the whole testing process truly remarkable. She could tell it had worked, and there didn't seem to be any side effects like a huge energy burst that took out ¾ of the research base, which Nika had been a little worried about. “Wow,” she muttered, clearly in awe.

The tests had been set up, so all was ready for the transporters to be tested. However more power needed to be moved or rather directed towards the transporter systems.
Wigram: Acting Ensign Wigram to First Officer Rylka.
Rylka: Go ahead Ensign.
Wigram: I have got a little nearer to getting the transporters to work, however there are some concerns.
Rylka: Such as?
Wigram: Well.... the transporters are in full wokring order, i found that out by transporting something into space.
Rylka: But?
Wigram: Yes "But" being the true meaning- I cannot transport to the station or from the station- at least with current setting.
Rylka: Any suggestions as to how we should adapt.
Wigram: Yes Ma'am, Ensign Lang and I have re-routed certain bits and bobs and we need the power to basically break a whole in the field. It wont damage whatever they have set up...
Rylka: if they have set something up that is.
Wigram: Indeed, but it wont damage it- we will just make a whole through it. However we need to test it, but i dont want to do that until transporters are needed.
Rylka: If it works in the holodeck- it should work, and you are right we cannot afford to alert them. However try and make sure the chances are as good as possible. In the mean time i will try and let the Captain know.
Wigram: Yes i will do that, I will keep Ensign Lang down here.
Rylka: Excellent- Rylka out.

After talking to First Officer Rylka Wigram realised he should contact a few of the other senior Officers, as it seemed they maybe needed in this effort. The most obvious officer and the one he had not contacted was the 2nd Officer and Chief of Operations Commander Matthew.
After making sure the improvements were being made- though he did wonder how improvements could be made on something he didnt know as yet had passed the first hurdle- he decided to check with Ensign Lang who was looking as difficult as ever.
Wigram: I have finished the holodeck tests of the current changes and they appear to work.
Lang: That doesnt mean it will work if we try.
Wigram: Yes i know but for obvious reasons we cannot start beaming things onto the station without authority or need, for a start it will alert them to out developments/ disadvantages.
Lang: Yes I can see that but we can hardly make changes based on the holodeck tests.
Wigram: We can and we will, so we had just get on with it. I am going to contact the Operations department.
After some fumbling about and checking and designating of work to be done Ralph Wigram was ready to engage the help of the Chief Operations Officer the well known and well respected Commander Matthew.
Wigram: Acting Ensign Ralph Wigram to Commander Matthew.
Matthew: Matthew here, How can i help you?
Wigram: I think I need some help with the transporter problems- can you help?
Matthew: <TAG>
With that Wigram rose from his position and ordered a drink. He realised a drink had not been near his lips since he got up, and he could barely remember when that was.

[glow=blue,2,300]When the away team returned back to the ship, he went to the Bridge to try and find out who it was that contacted the Vic, sent a encrypted security officer emergency code which are mostly used by Security officers meaning our message sender is a former starfleet security officer.
The usfull thing that was at John disposle was he knew how to decryt it, It took him longer than before to do it, but all he could find was were it was sent from not who.
He found it had come from one of the scientist quters, but whos that was what he couldn't find.[/glow]

[OOC]Joint post with Ensign Daniels, her part is in light blue. [/OOC]
The away team took the shuttle back from Vyimi II after their tour was finished. As soon as the shuttle was docked Nika took the turbolift to the bridge, along with Commander Matthew and Ensign Roberts. Commander Matthew started to work with Ensign Wigram on solving the transporter problem. Arriving on the bridge, Nika walked over to Commander Rylka, who started to stand. “No, don't get up,” Nika said. “I'll be moving elsewhere soon anyway.”
<Tag Tiffani>
“I think there's something wrong with the research base,” Nika said. “But at this point we're staying without an invitation.” Nika paused, and looked at Tiffani. Nika smiled tiredly. “Would you care to come up with some sort of explanation as to why we have to stay a little longer without unduly annoying Dr. Diego?” Nika asked.
<Tag Tiffani>
“Great,” Nika said, then started to walk towards the bridge door. “I'd like to talk with the doctor,” she explained, and exited.
On the turbolift on her way down she tapped her commbadge. </\>Captain Cir'Kem to Lieutenant Kane.</\>
</\>Lieutenant Kane here. Can it wait a minute Captain? I'm busy with a patient just now</\>
</\>Sure</\> Nika replied. </\>Contact me when you're free.</\>

Nika entered sickbay and looked around for Doctor Rogers. She realized that she probably could use the comm system, but she'd rather do this in person. She communicated nonverbally far more than most people did, and she knew it would be much harder to get her point across if she couldn't see the other person's reaction. “Is Doctor Rogers available?” Nika asked a passing nurse.
“I'm afraid he's busy right now,” the nurse responded, and Nika understood that even talking to the captain wasn't worth interrupting a delicate medical procedure. “But his assistant, Doctor Daniels, is available.”
“Thank you,” Nika said, and walked up to Ensign Daniels. “Doctor, I need to talk to you if you're free.” *Or if you're not free* Nika didn't mention, but there was a strong possibility lives were at stake.
Lee looked at the padd she was working on reading, and looked up quickly trying to recognize the voice. She wasn't sure where she had heard it before.
"And who might you be, and what is it I can do to help you?" She said not sure what was going on. Kaylee was a little disorientated as she was getting into the padd on a current disease on a faraway planet when she was summoned.
“I'm Captain Cir'Kem,” Nika said with all the force she had learned from military service. She waited until Doctor Daniels looked up, not because of arrogance but because Nika wanted to ensure she had the doctor's full attention.
Kaylee realized who she was talking to with the name, and stood at attention quickly. "Ready and willing, captain. Permission to speak freely?" She said dropping the padd behind her on a biobed.
“Permission granted.” Nika said. “But first set up a scan of all the life signs on the planet, and monitor them. I can explain why after you're finished.”
"Okay, well since your here, should we get to your physical?" She said maybe a little too audaciously.
“No. We shouldn't.” Nika said, and expected that to be the end of the matter.
Lee sighed realizing this was going to be something she would have to enforce. "If not now, then when?" She said being bold.
“When I'm not juggling lives,” Nika responded harshly, regretting that she had chosen to come down to sickbay. “Did you set the scan up yet?” she asked.
"Please don't snap at me captain, I am only trying to do my job. When will you be 'not juggling lives'?" She said walking over to a console to set up the scan like the captain wanted. It took two seconds to set it up, and she sighed.
"Yes, it is set up now."
“Thank you.” Nika replied. “I will not be 'juggling lives' when the lives of those scientists are safe.” Nika snapped. “And I seriously doubt they are right now.”
"Well, I am just trying to keep my captain safe. I wouldn't want you to go down on my shift. Please schedule your physical when you think it would be a good time, if that is all captain, then I have other things to do," she said not liking how this was going.
Nika didn't argue with the illogic that she would 'go down' on anyone's shift. The fact that she had lived most of her life on a planet with nowhere near the level of sophistication a simple Starfleet sickbay had and hadn't randomly fallen over dead didn't seem to be understood by the doctor. “Fine, schedule me in 15 hours,” Nika said, deliberately choosing a time she was sure she wouldn't still be on duty for. Or if she was the ship would seriously be in trouble. And with choosing 03:00 Nika doubted Doctor Daniels would still be on duty, which was probably a bonus.
"Ah, one of those type, well thanks for doing that. Is there anything else?" Kaylee said looking the captain directly in the eye.
Nika didn't know what 'one of those types' meant, but she was fairly certain the doctor had a false impression of her. Nika shrugged slightly to herself, the doctor's mental picture of the world wasn't Nika's problem. “Just watch those life signs,” Nika said. “And if the transporters are working beam them up the instant someone is injured.”
"Okay, will do," she said turning back to the console to do her job.
Nika nodded, more than a little frustrated with the way the conversation had gone, and walked out of sickbay.
Amidst the gentle humming of the turbolift Nika tapped her commbadge, this time to talk to engineering. </\>Captain Cir'Kem to Ensign Wigram</\>
</\>Ensign Wigram here</\>
</\>When you get transporters functioning through the planetary dome, please let Ensign Daniels in sickbay know.</\>
</\>Will do</\>
Nika closed the channel then and waited the rest of the time until the turbolift doors opened on the bridge. “Report,” she ordered.

*Tiffani was in the process of getting the scans to work, when suddenly she saw the captain walk onto the Bridge, she started to stand but was caught off, by the captain*
Oh? *She said in a matter of fact tone* Is everything okay? *She questioned*
Sure *She replied* I believe we could rig it to look as though we are having techincal difficulty *she said*
“Great,” Nika said, then started to walk towards the bridge door. “I'd like to talk with the doctor,” she explained, and exited.
*Tiffani set back down in her seat momentarily and then tabbed her comm badge*

*Tiffani sighed and leaned back in her seat, her mind momentarily drifting off to the old days, when she first arrived on the ship as an ensign, she laughed remembering when she met the captain, she had bummed into him in the corridors, she smiled momentarily when she noticed a few of the bridges officers look in her direction*
sorry *she blushed a little* just rememing the old times *She said and waited to hear from Engineering*

Commander Matthew had arrived in the Engineering area, and was set up at a console which was alongside Acting Ensign Wigrams. Their conversation was quite amiable. Wigram realised he should have got to know the Chief Operations Officer earlier, not only to meet and to get to know him personally but also as the Chief Operations Officer is near enough the officer which is most close to the Chief Engineer. His experiance as an enlisted man had let him down for sure, a touch of shame rang across him.
The Engineering communications system beeped and the voice of Commander Rylka bleeped over the system.
Rylka: Bridge to Engineering
Wigram: Acting Ensign Wigram here- How can i help Commander?
Rylka: Is there anyway you could rig it to look as though the ship is having difficulties?
Wiram: Oh yes i am sure we can, it is quite enjoyable to make a perfectly healthy ship look helpless, or if not helpless, than under snuff.
Rylka: let me know when you are able to figure something out, Bridge out.
Commander Matthews had been listening while the conversation was publically going on.
Wigram: I have some good idea, do you have any ideas Commander?
Matthews: Well....
OFF: I will be away for 3 days, i hope this is not too inconvenient.

Scene : “inside the Dome”
“Cmdr Matthew Comm. Badge start to chirp” James is very surprise there Has been no communications with the ship since they transported down to the Planet James tap his comm. badge Cmdr Matthew here it was Chief Engineer wigram voice ‘
“Wigram: Cmdr Matthew we think we have come up with a way to Transport you all back to the ship ‘
“Cmdr Matthew : That great chief “
“ Cmdr Matthew: I will pass that on to the Captain we also think we have a plan that may also work “I would appear that there are windows in the ion Atmosphere of the planet where we can talk and Maybe Transport off this planet”
“ I was thinking maybe Doing the Next Window you could Transport down two of theses Transporter Enhancers we have on board to help strengthen the transport signal “
“Wigram : Sound workable we will need to run some test before trying to Transport people I will get on it “But I will need your Exact co-ordinates’
“Cmdr Matthew: sending them now “ Matthew Start Tapping in the Co-ordinates”
Chief Wigram : Got them Commander “ Cmdr Matthew : I Have Calculated the next window will be in 12 Hours and 24 minutes from now
Wigram : I understand

OOC: So everyone knows, the away team is back on the ship. I posted that we took the shuttle out. IC- Nika was sitting on the bridge when Commander Rylka explained what she was working out with Engineering. “Sounds good,” Nika said. “But I suppose it would be pushing our luck to ask the scientists to 'help' us out of our 'problem.' Which means we'll have to come up with a time estimate for when our 'problem' will be fixed, not too far from now as to be suspicious, but not too soon either.”
After Nika finished talking to Commander Rylka Ensign Roberts asked to speak to her.
Nika agreed, curious if he had found anything about the scientist who had initially contacted Starfleet.
It turned out he had. "Ma'am, I have gaind some ground on finding out who it is, but i can't find out who unless some one can get me the list of wjo has what quters, all I have lernt is that he is in scientist quters N7"
“I'm afraid I don't have a list,” Nika said, and they would only manage to attract suspicion by asking for one. “But I bet you can re-route a signal through the station so it looks like it originated there. Just a simple message to the owner of quarter N7, asking him to contact us and that we're here to offer help.” Nika shrugged. “It's just an idea though, what do you think?”

[glow=blue,2,300]John stood thinking for a second, "That could work, but it is doing it with out Dr Diego knowing about it" John stood while the captain tried to think of anther solution.
"Got sommert" he said "I could easily hack into their computer system, and downloads the list my self, although it would take a few hours longer, this would be the safer option"[/glow]

After the communication from Commander Matthew, he realised transporters could now work, though sadly everyone was back on the ship- his effort and that of the Science and Operations departments had been wasted. However the work was perhaps not wasted as it might be needed sooner rather than later.
Wigram: Wigram to Commander Matthew and Ensign Lang- The transporters are now working, so we have them at out disposal. This should make any future trips easier. Thankyou for your help- sorry we did not get it done sooner.
After the short communication Wigram decided orders might be needed, as he felt rather out of the mission circle, working on transporters has that effect.
Wigram: Wigram to Cir'kem
Cir'kem: Go ahead.
Wigram: Engineering is ticking over, do you have any special orders?
Cir'kem: TAG
Wigrams last comment he tried to say without sounding as if he was working for a take-away.
