USS Victory C-Post 4.3 R&R

Matti left the ship and followed his daughter as she led him on to the station.

<She seems to have gotton better and more alive since we got this new assignment. I hope she finds a few new friends soon.>

"Where do you want to go to eat?" Miranda asked as she started to walk towards the smell of food.

"Where ever you want to. Today is your day. It is your birthday right. You don't think i've forgotten with as many times as you have reminded me in the last week." Matti replyed.

-6 hours later-

As they returned to the ship and headed to their quarters, Matti turned a corner and was knocked down by someone he didn't know.

"I'm sorry, I should have been watching where I was going." Matti mumbled to the stranger.

As he got up he introduced himself, "Hi, I'm Lieutenant Mattimio Kane, Ship Counselor. This is my daughter Miranda. Nice to meet you."

Tiffani hadn't been paying attention to where she was going as she headed back to her quarters when she bumped into someone, knocking them down

As they returned to the ship and headed to their quarters, Matti turned a corner and was knocked down by someone he didn't know.

"I'm sorry, I should have been watching where I was going." Matti mumbled to the stranger.

*No, it was my fault* she said as she helped him get up *I wasn't paying attention, i've had so much on my mind i forgot to watch what i was doing*

As he got up he introduced himself, "Hi, I'm Lieutenant Mattimio Kane, Ship Counselor. This is my daughter Miranda. Nice to meet you."

*oh, Yes i heard that they found someone to fill my old position* She said as she extended a hand in greeting to first Mattimo then his daughter who for some reason didn't shake her hand, she just smiled and pulled it back *It's nice to meet you both* She said, I was just headed home to prepare for a little trip*

The rest and repair had been very useful not to mention incredibly useful, Wigram had at last settled himself in his quarters. Engineering was running smoothly and now he was almost settled in his quarters. These were his two main places, so it was obviously important.

Wigram: Wigram to Head of Starbase engineering support teams for USS Victory.

Team Leader: Go ahead Lt

Wigram: I would like to meet you ASAP about the work you are doing.

Team: Leader: Afraid we do not have time for that, you should be resting anyway.

Wigram: You will make time, otherwise i will have to enquire about a new Leader.

Team Leader: Ok Ok meet in 20 mins in engineering?

Wigram: Excellent idea, see you than.

After getting into his engineering overals Wigram made his way to engineering, on the way he went past team after team of support personnel, doing everything from panel changes to cleaning to door repairs.

He arrived in engineering in time and he saw a very tall Lt standing near the warp core. He approached.

Wigram: Afternoon, I am Lt Wigram, thankyou for making time to meet me.

Douglas: You gave me little choice, so lets get down to it. What do you need.

Wigram: Well...

Douglas: Yes i want to complain about you lack of work, you dont seem to be doing your job.

Wigram: I beg...

Douglas: You have left damaged panels in place, you have...

Wigram: Stop right there. We only have so many hours and so many crew to repair things priorities had to shift, you obviously have not served on a front line vessel before.

Douglas: That is no reason for slacking.

Wigram: I want you to get your teams to replace those panels, to change all filters, to check every system, co-ordinate with my deputy over there and he will check everything with me.

Douglas: I am the senior Lt

Wigram: I am the senior here, dismissed.

Off: this takes place a while after my running into the Counselor.

On:

Felix was at the docking bay waiting for Tiffani to arrive. After a lot of thinking
it was decided the best thing for thm right now is to get a divorce. This was not working
out as they thought it would and the love, he was not sure it was love at all now.
It may have been just infatuation. But whatever t was it is gone now and... he was not
ready to ramin married without it
. There would be time for that when he was older, but now he needed more.

Tiffani was holding Amilea's hand as the exited the shuttle and had made their way
through the docking bay, she had known this day was coming, things just hadn't been
the same sense they went their seperate ways, as she exited the docking bay, she
looked around, spotting Felix, she smiled as Amilea ran up to him and hugged him.

*Hello Felix* said Tiffani as she got closer to them.

When the little girl ran up to him he felt much better right away.

"And how has little Amilea been", he asked, "Good?", he asked as he smiled at her

"Tiffani", Felix said to his wife, "My staff at the JAG office has all
the papers already prepared, or should i say padds. All they
need are our signatures and it will all be over", he said as they
started walking out of the bay

Tiffani frowned slightly but decided to keep it as civil as possible

*I see* she said *It appears you are in a hurry have you found someone else?*
she stopped a moment and looked at him. *I'm sorry i shouldn't of said that,
I suppose i'm still upset over it all* she sighed a little *I just had hoped
it would of lasted longer, if not for us, for Amilea* she stated.

Well these things were never easy he thought as he listened to Tiffani speak.

"No I have not found someone else, but there is
no need in stalling if the even t is inevitable.", he said,
"And this is a much better solution for both her and us", he said,
"What do you think she would learn by observing two parents like us married?",
he said as they kept on walking

Tiffani smiled at Amilea who was walking along side felix, *I know it's for the better.
I Suppose i just feel as though i've failed in some way. You are right though.

"No, no objections from me", Felix said

"In that case"; Sarkonis said, "If you would just sign both pads", he said giving
both of them a light pen

When he got the pen Felix signed the pad and after he signed his copy he waited for
Tiffani to sign hers so they could switch pads and sign the other one
it was inevitable *she said as the walked past a few officers on there way to
the JAG office* I do want you to have Happiness, and if it isn't with me, then so be
it.*
She said

"You know i am doing this for you", he said, "I'll mange but i could
see you were not happy with me that you needed more, thats why you
engaged in intimate relations with that resident of Oneb", he said as
they finally reached the door leading to the JAG office

As the door slid open, Felix gestured to Tiffani to enter first

Tiffani's smile turned int a slight frown as he spoke of the
Minister. *Felix, you know i apologized for that over and over.
It was something i never meant to happen. but you were spending more
and more time with work and less time at home. I was growing lonely.*
She said as he gestered for her to enter first, she entered followed
by Amilea and Felix, she decided not to say much more for the time.

After they entered the office he said nothing more as they approached one
of the ensigns who was sorting some pads on a desk.

"Did commander Sarkonis get those papers i asked for", Felix asked the ensign

"Yes sir, he is waiting in your office with the papers", the ensign responded

"Good, thank you ensign", he said and then turned to Tiffani, "Right through
that door down the corridor", he said as he started walking in that direction

Tiffani wondered what felix had gotten done about custody over Amilea, but decided
to wait until they was in the office She made her way down the corridor, and then
entered the office that felix had pointed out *Nice office* was all she said, she
smiled down at Amilea who didn't seem to care where they was as long as she had
her mommy and daddy.

"Thank you"; he said as they entered the office and were greeted by the Commander.

"This is my wife Tiffani"; he said to Sarkonis as he the man extended his hand
to Tiffani

"Now let us get down to business", he said as all of them sat down
Felix Savali says:

"Now as per your request, i have formed the paperwork for the divorce. Seeing no
personal bellongings are involved it is all very simple"; he said as he gave a
pad to Felix and another to Tiffani

"The only issue was the custody of your daughter", Sarkonis said

"But as you requested i have wrote it up as partial custody, so she can spend
several months with one and several with the other, of course

if one of you does not agree, we can discuss it and alter it", the man said

Tiffani took the pad and then she looked at Amilea to make sure she was
behaving before signing the pad. *Here you go* She said as she switched
pad's with felix. She then signed that one as well

As they both handed the pads to Sarkonis he transfered the data to the computer.

"Now that this is a metter of public record, you are both once again... single",
he said as he took the two padds and left the office so that the two could have
some privacy

"So what now", Felix asked

*Well* she said *I guess we go our seperate ways* she looked at Amilea and smiled
*You know if you don't have any missions you need to be on, you could go ahead
and keep Amilea for now* She said *the victory has a mission to be on soon and
i'm not sure how dangerous it will be, suppose to be simple, but you know how
well that works out* She said.


"Yes, I do", he said, "Well don't worry i don't have anything plan other than
your usual JAG matters, but nothing too serious in those...", he said, "I
spend most of my time sitting in the office going through the complaints
about someone tricking someone into changing his larger cabin for a smaller
one", he said as he smiled a bit

Tiffani smiled and laughed a bit *when will people learn* she said, she looked
at Amilea who come running over to where they was setting and climbed up on felix's
lap *Well, i guess i should get going* She said *The Captain is waiting for me to
return so we can finish our mission, and sense i have nothing left to do here*
She said. *I might as well get going as soon as possible*

She rose as he did and accepted his hand in a shake of friendship and smiled
slightly as he kissed her on the cheeck. *I know she will be in good hands*
She said *I will try* she smirked and then gave him a hug. *Take care of
yourself and don't work yourself to hard, Have fun a little *she said as
she pulled away and bent down to pick Amilea up and give her a hug and kiss
*You be good for Daddy* She said, and turned and headed for the door.

"Bye", Felix said as Tiffani went through the door ending one part of
his life as she went away...

"Miranda, be nice. I'm sorry, she deosn't seem to like very many people yet. She is still new to the way things work here." Matti said trying to explain Miranda's behavior.

"As you seem to be in a hurry we will get out of your way. If you need anything, please feel free to stop by anytime. It was nice meeting you." Matti said as he led Miranda towards their room.

Tiffani had been exhausted when she returned to the ship, but she decided to report in quickly to the Captain before heading to her quarters, so she made her way to the Bridge to find that she wasn't there so she asked the person who was currently on duty

*Where's the captain?*She questioned

*The Captain is in her ready room* reported the officer

*oh, Good* She made her way across the bridge, she noticed a few officers look in her direction, she shook the feeling away and then buzzed the door to the Ready Room, she waited, No response, she buzzed again, finally this time she got a response

*Come in* Responded the Captain's voice

Tiffani entered and took a seat infront of the Captains desk *I just wanted to let ya know that i'm back, and all went well* she stated

Not feeling like filing the paperwork on her desk just yet, Kae decided to go to the holodeck, and was glad when she found it was empty. She inserted one of her favorite work outs and almost began it.

=^=All crew, this is the doctor speaking. I would like the senior staff to please report to Holodeck Two. This is not a request.=^=

Kae decided to warm up while waiting, and got another program of hers started. Three men surrounded her and she moved to fighting stance closing her eyes. She slowed down her breathing, and felt the first guy moving to punch her in the gut. Kae kicked him in the face instead, and stood still again listening for the next two.

One of the guys chuckled, then she heard something being removed. Kae sighed realizing what he was doing, and listened for him. She almost missed the other guys moving closer. The second guy swiped at her with the knife while the third punched toward her face. Kae heard the doors open admitting someone just then, as she sidestepped the knife and blocked the punch.

Kae hit the man with no weapon in the gut sending him into the 'out of air' zone so she could take care of Mr. knife. She sighed, and sidestepped his knife again grabbing the hand this time twisting his hand making him drop it. She then did a jump kick and hit him in the chest sending him to the floor.

Kae opened her eyes. "Computer freeze program."

Scene: Cmdr Matthew ‘s Quarters, USS VICTROY

“James was wide-awake.

“With the Victory 's scheduled for Ship supplies to be Transported on board today, this Just Maybe his last chance to enjoy what was Left of his Shore Leave and he was Already wide awake.

‘ Even though the ship was in Space Dock Day to day ship Operations still where on going”
“Angrily he grabbed his pillow and wrapped it over his face to block out
the shadowed images of his quarters.

“Barely less than two minutes later he threw the pillow aside and rolled
over onto his side.

"Computer, time?"

[The time is 0632 hours]

“James grumbled something incoherently and fell back onto his bed his arms
crossed under his neck.

“His mouth tasted as if a Breen Blood Worm had crawled into it during the night and
died there.

“James attributed it to the glass of Romulan Ale he had drunk at
the Base bar the night before While having Dinner with Cmdr Steward.

“It wasn't that he had been forced to drink the vile liquid, but when three glasses of the stuff had arrived at their table,

“James had decided it was a safer bet to drink the offending
beverage than risk the offence of the owner and a subsequent bar brawl. In
the cold light of day, James was no longer quite sure if that had been the
safer bet.

“At least the Waitress had looked somewhat sympathetic to his plight,
unlike Cmdr Steward who thought the whole episode was hilarious. It had been nearly
one that morning before James had finished the drink and found an excuse to
return to his Quarters, After walking cmdr Steward to her ship .

"Lights, 25%" James instructed, throwing the bedclothes off and swinging his
feet to the floor.

Showered, dressed and with thankfully cleaned, gargled and flossed teeth
and gums, . And After being Satisfied with the reflection in the mirror, James looked
around his quarters.

The lights had been increased to normal as he surveyed the room with a
critical eye. The clothes, which he had kicked off the night before, had
already been picked up and deposited in their correct places and so with
little else to be done,

“James decided that breakfast might be a good a place
as any to start. Beside she was sure he could still taste the Romulain Ale
in his mouth and he was hoping that a few cups of coffee might solve that
problem.
