Ezdreiana had been quiet throughout the entire ordeal of the talks. In fact it seemed as the Tholian and Klingon had decided to ignore her mere presence. She was fine with this, Saarok was capable of dealing with them. This allowed her the opportunity to really gage what the men were saying. If things continued this way, war would resume almost immeditaley. The Klingons were asking for everything and giving nothing in return and the Tholians were not going to give up everything for nothing in return. This was not going to work.
Ezdreiana was about to speak for the first time, but instead screamed in horror as she saw the Tholian become an egg. There was further confusion as she saw everyone around her change. Korok quickly shot his aide and a younger looking Saarok began talking gibberish.
"STOP!" Ezdreiana screamed making sure to get everyone's attention. "Who are you?" Ezdreiana asked pointing her own weapon at Saarok.

Kaiba was at his restaurant talking to Simeth when one of the bubbles landed on him. Within seconds a strange light shone around him and after subsiding it showed a man who looked the same age, but indeed he was not. He was over 380 years younger. For even tough he concealed his true identity, Kaiba was El Aurian.
"This strategy will ensure we maintain the dominate position on the world market. We shall eliminate all of our competition and the share price will increase over 400%. We shall all become richer beyond our drea...", Kaiba stopped himself as he looked at the man in front of him
"What is the meaning on this, do you know who I am, how dare you kidnap me", Kaiba shouted as he jumped away from Simeth who appeared to be stunned
"Police, police, security anyone"; Kaiba shouted as he was moving away from the stunned Simeth

--Meanwhile at the JAG HQ--
Felix was in his office as he heard screaming, shouting and weapons discharges coming from outside of his door. What on Earth, Felix thought as he got up from his seat and proceeded to the exit. As he opened the door he had to duck to avoid a discharge from a phasor. Apparently one of the Cardassians was holding a Bajoran as a human shield and shooting at the others JAG members who were there. Meanwhile several humans were holding the Cardassian at gun point.
"You Cardassian swine will never defeat the Maquis not even with pathetic attempts like these. By Attempting to trick us and holding that Bajoran.", they shouted at him
What the, Felix thought as he contacted security to send someone down, but instead of that all he got as a response from some old man saying he couldn't come down as his arthritis was acting up again.
=/\=Savali to Admiral Lin.=/\=
=/\=Sir I have a problem. I can't reach security; all I was able to receive was someone who claimed they had arthritis and were unable to come down. And I have a major situation here, a hostage situation=/\=
"You there, closed that channel. I knew Starfleet was working with these Cardassian but i had no idea it went this high", one of the Humans said as he trained his weapon on Felix
"Now, let's be reasonable here"; he said, "There is no need for violence. We can work it all out without any violence", Felix said

"If you think this pathetic attempt of extracting information will work on me Tholian, you are much less intelligent than I thought at first. It is logical that a bug like creature like you could not posses enough brains to come up with a more effective method of interrogation", he said
"Perhaps you are expecting me to lower my weapon due to this hologram of a Trill is threatening me with her weapon. Even if you terminate my existence, our teams will locate you and when they do... The logical events will take place.", he said
"Now do the logical thing and release me and end this as it is apparent that I have seen through your poor attempt of deceiving me", Saarok said

Veronica awoke, her back sore from falling asleep on the couch. She stood up, looked at the dirty table from the night before, and decided it wouldn't hurt to leave it until the evening.
She made her way out of her quarters, and headed for the laboratory. She wasn't too thrilled about working today - it would be the tenth day in a row. she worked. Entering the room, she had the sense that she had done this before... not like the day before - but like, today - but not today. It was a passing feeling that made the fine hair on her neck stand on end.

Veronica awoke, her back sore from falling asleep on the couch. She stood up, looked at the dirty table from the night before, and decided it wouldn't hurt to leave it until the evening.
She made her way out of her quarters, this time knowing for a fact she had done this already. She quickly diverged back to her room, sensing that returning to the laboratory would cause some sort of problem.
=/\= Computer, run a diagnostic on my quarters. Scan for chronoton emissions. =/\=
~/\~ Negative. No particles found. ~/\~
At least she would fine here, if there was something going on. Fearful of leaving the room, she looked around the database on her computer console to see what could be causing this problem... if it really was a problem. Her intuition told her something was wrong, but she had no memory - only feeling - that she had been stuck in some sort of time loop.
She stopped on something she had read a few nights earlier. Temporal Warp Membranes. The title of the chapter was not too thrilling, but the subject matter described what she was feeling. Of course, she would need some proof. If only she could scan the corridor leading to the lab without having to start the day over again, she might get to the bottom of this.

The Vulcan ambassador suddenly became a young man, bearing the rank of a Starfleet Rear Admiral, who immediately drew his weapon, and began accusing the Tholian of trying to interrogate him. Moments later the Trill drew her weapon and began calling on people to stop what they were doing. Korok was utterly confused, and things would only get simpler if he knew who was the right person to kill. The Tholians had a non-aggression pact with the Dominion, but could they be secretly helping them. Perhaps that was why the Vulcan Admiral was wary of him. But why was there a Trill here. Turning his disruptor on the Trill woman, he yelled. "Lay down your weapon Trill, I do not know what is going on here, but I can be sure the Federation Admiral is my ally" He called to Saarok. "Admiral, I don't much care about who I have to kill, so long as I get back to my ship, but tell me, is this Tholian here responsible for what has happened. Have they allied with the Dominion?" His disruptor remained trained on the Trill, whilst he moved his dagger to face the Tholian.

Saarok continued to keep his eye on the Tholian while listening to the Klingon hologram attempting to deceive him. He was having none of that, however perhaps he could fool this Tholian into believing he was falling for it.
“Major I believe the Tholians have taken me prisoner and are now trying to extract information from me by creating this elaborate holo program which does not appear to be the most current version out there. But he is sadly mistaken if he believes I will reveal any information to him. However an ally at this time is a logical maneuver. Therefore I suggest we keep these two at the other end of our weapons and withdraw to a safer location where we can consolidate our strength and determine how to escape. I would suggest we stun them", Saarok said as he pressed his weapon and fired at the Tholian

The Vulcan seemingly believed that all this was a holo programme, and given the confusing nature and sudden changes, Korok was inclined to believe him. He levelled his phaser at the Trill, as the Vulcan stunned the Tholian. "If I am mistaken, and you too are a prisoner of the Dominion, I can only apologise" Klingons were not accustomed to apologising, but neither were they accustomed to these circumstances. He only hoped that the Vulcan was right and he was shooting a hologram. He fired and stunned her, then proceeding to stun the Trill who stood beside her, and the human who stood near the Vulcan. Once all were unconscious, Korok and the admiral proceeded to the door. Korok hit the panel and the door opened, revealing four Starfleet security officers. Korok crushed the skull of one officer between his elbow and a bulkhead, then swiftly turning to impale a second through the throat with his dagger. The Vulcan admiral dealt with the remaining two, and then the pair moved off. Rounding a bend they came across two Klingons, who started towards them. Both he and the admiral levelled their weapons and stunned the pair. By now Korok was beginning to believe the Vulcan admiral, as a hologram could be the only explanation of such a strange number of species in such a strange location. Pulling the Vulcan into a side room, Korok addressed him quickly. "I am Colonel Korok, son of M'Ket, Commander of the 5th Taskforce in the Klingon Defence Force Ninth Fleet. I was on my battlecruiser, leading an assault on Chintoka when this occured. If this is indeed a Dominion hologram, we cannot be too far away; either on a planet, or a Dominion vessel. I recommend that we isolate ourselves as much as possible whilst we try to escape" He pointed at a jeffries tube hatch "If we can access a shuttlebay, we can escape this base at least, admiral" He readied his disruptor and moved towards the hatch.

Dominion hologram? Saarok thought after the Klingon introduced himself, or they are doing this on purpose to play with my mind. How pathetic, he thought. These bug like creatures think they can accomplish something with such a silly game, they had better think again.
"I wish we could have met under different circumstances Colonel. I am... Saarok, I work for Starfleet Internal Services Department and was on the verge of discovering dominion insurgents on Earth when i suddenly appeared here.", Saarok said
He served his cover story. The Tholians most certainly already knew this so he had nothing to loose by telling it to this Klingon hologram. And for now he was going to act as his friend.
"You are indeed correct, this appears to be an Ournal I class Starbase", Saarok said, "I suggest we attempt to overload the power system of this holodeck. If we were to burn out the power grid in this program, we should at the same time disable the holodeck.", Saarok said, "This way"; he said crawling into the Jeffries tube
Oddly enough they encountered no one in the tubes as they were making way towards the bases power station. Upon exiting the tubes they came upon several ancient looking humans of over 100 years of age who they were able to disable quite easily.
"I suggest you stand guard Colonel, I know a thing or two about these systems", Saarok said as he proceeded to the main power control systems and began working on bringing the main power offline

Voran sat in his ready room on the USS Galaxy, putting the finishing touches on his latest sensor report. They, hadn't detected anything unusual...again. It was getting somewhat tedious. It had been several weeks since Voran had been moved from his post as Assailant's Strategic Operations Officer to full time Commanding Officer of the USS Galaxy. It was nice to be back out in space again, but the current assignment wasn't much fun. The Galaxy was still based at Assailant, so Voran's life hadn't changed too much, in fact, they were en route to Assailant now.
The voice of Voran's first officer then came over the comm, "Harris to Voran, we have arrived at Assailant."
Voran got up and entered the bridge. Harris stood up from the centre chair and took his place in the first officer's seat. Voran looked at Lieutenant Dan Morley at the tactical station.
"Assailant is ready for us to dock sir." Reported Morley.
"Commence docking procedures." Ordered Voran as he sat down in the centre chair.
A few minutes later, the helmsman announced that they had docked with Assailant.
Voran was about to get up when the officer manning ops said, "Captain, I'm picking up several temporal distortions approaching the ship.
Voran's first instinct was to order sheilds, but that couldn't be done inside starbase, instead, he said, "What kind of distortions?"
"Unknown, sir." Reported the ops officer, "They're approaching the bridge, fast!"
Voran hesitated, not knowing what to do, a female crewmember at the back of the bridge yelled and Voran looked up too late...
There was a bright flash and Voran momentarily forgot what was happening, then it came back to him, they were responding to the distress call of the freighter T'Chan. Still blind from the flash, Voran said, "Report...Commander Sentelek, what was that?"
Slowly, his vision returned, and he was surprised to see not the bridge of the Constitution class USS Constitution, but something entirely different. It looked like a bridge, and it seemed he was still sitting in the centre chair, but this wasn't his ship. What was going on?
-----------Prin's POV-------------
The Galaxy's Cardassian CMO Janora Prin was last-minute checking the report she was taking to the Captain. The turbolift halted and the doors opened. She walked onto the bridge and for a moment didn't notice the difference, then she gasped.
Captain Voran was sitting in his centre seat, but he was wearing the mustard yellow captain's uniform of the mid 23rd Century. Sitting next to him in the first officer's chair was a human boy of about 12 or 13 who bore a striking resemblance to Commander Harris. Behind them, at the tactical station was a human male of about 60 or 70 in an unfamiliar uniform, but with a starfleet combadge and the rank of Admiral. Studying the man's face more closely, Prin realised that it was and older version of Lieutenant Morley.
----------Voran's POV----------
A woman had just entered. Her species was familiar, but Voran could recall it's name. He studied her clothing, it was similar to what some of the other people on this bridge were wearing, perhaps a uniform. Then he looked at the badge she was wearing, he recognised that it was similar in design to the mission patch worn by the crew of the USS Enterprise. Could this be a Federation vessel?
Slowly, Voran stood up and addressed the woman, "I am Captain Elarus Voran of the Federation Starship Constitution. What is going on?"
The woman looked slightly taken aback, then said, "Captain, are you okay...I'm not sure what's going on..."
Then an older man behind Voran spoke, "I believe we have encountered a temporal anomaly, Janora."
"Then you know who I am, Dan?" Said Prin.
"Yes, I have been transformed to my future self, whereas the Captain and Commander Harris have reverted to their past selves. I believe we should go and see Admiral Lin."
Voran spoke up, "Past selves, what are you talking about?"
"Yeah..." Said the child who he presumed was Commander Harris.
"All will be explained." Said Morley, "but now, we must go and see Admiral Lin...oh, and we should take some phasers, as a precaution."
Morley retrieved the weapons from a box under one of the consoles and handed one to Voran. It was unlike any phaser he had ever seen, but Morley explained how to use it.
"You have the bridge, Janora," said Morley, "we'll be on starbase."
He beckoned for the child to follow them, he was reluctant at first, but seemed trusting of the starfleet admiral, and followed them in the end.
Several minutes later, they were entering Lin's science lab.

The restaurant was becoming a bit more settled as Tedak and Ji'Zhan was finishing their meal. Tedak had accepted Ji'Zhan's invitation to come to the planet the next morning and it seemed as if Tedak was feeling better about the whole thing.
Tedak asked, "Do you think me showing up with you on he planet would be a good idea?"
"In most cases I would say no, however in this case no-one on the planet knows about what happened with the exception of the other two Elders and our Acolytes. They have been sworn to follow the Elder's wishes, and we decided not to tell anyone on the surface. So, you will be treated as the Ambassador you are ..."
At that time Ji'Zhan and Tedak heard noises from outside the restaurant and both wondered what could be happening now. The noise subsided and both just wrote it off and returned to their conversation.
Ji'Zhan started to ask Tedak about what he was going to do now that T'Val had remarried ... but the moment never came as a bubble from Lin's hobby rose from beneath Ji'Zhan and in a flash of the whitest light Ji'Zhan was gone. Tedak pushed back from the table, grabbed D'Beren, and gazed at the seat where Ji'Zhan just vanished from.
--- Ji'Zhan back in time ... to his youth ... with his grandfather ---
The planet was a dusty glow of red and orange with dust storms circling most latitudes. The Debrune ship caring fifty survivors from some displaced planet was descending into a cave. Ji'Zhan was standing with his sa'mekh'al looking at the ship as it passed through the force field. "Sa'mekh'al," Ji'Zhan asked, "why does the dust not come through?" Ji'Zhan's Grandfather smiled at the young boy's question. "You see my son, it called a force field that holds back the dust." Ji'Zhan didn't really understand how but he knew he wanted to learn all about it. After the ship landed the two left for home, "Lets go my son, your Ko'mekh-il will not like it if we miss aru-yem." Ji'Zhan ran out of the control center and out into the street of the Underground City.

The first thing she noticed was the pain in her upper body. It didn't take long for her to remember what had just happened moments before. She was still confused about it all, but she remembered Saarok being replaced with a younger self. She also remembered them talking about holograms. If her memory was right, it seemed like they thought she was a hologram. After making sure that the others were alright, Ezdreiana left the room asking Lily to give her directions.
"They've entered the jefferies tubes," Lily responded," it seems that they are in the main power generator. It seems that Saarok is trying to turn me off."
"Alright, thank you," Ezdreiana said as she took her weapon and entered the turbolifts. She didn't know what happened to them, but she was sure that Saarok and Korok regressed to an earlier time. She was sure that it was more complicated than that, but at the moment she didn't want a headache.
=^=Ambassador Saarok, I know that you are confused, but please respond. I know what you are trying to do. There is much more to the story than you know. Please respond=^=

Perhaps there is more logic to these Tholian's plans then I originally presumed, Saarok thought. But no matter he was putting the finishing touches to the system now. After he was done they'd have about 30 seconds before the power junction froze up and main power went off line, at least the main power distribution grid.
"It is time to withdraw, Colonel", Saarok said to the Klingon who was standing guard near by, "It appears we were tracked down but in 20 seconds... they won't know what hit them", he said
"Let us proceed this way.", Saarok said as he opened up a near by Jeffries tube hatch and he and the Klingon entered it
"What have you done"; the Klingon questioned him
"In 10 seconds the main power junction where we departed from will shut down and stop transferring power to the distribution grid causing main power to go of line", Saarok said as they continued to crawl
"Now"; he said as the light around them went of, but several moments relit again
"They are working on auxiliary power now; it is not possible for them to maintain a holo simulation any longer. Let us proceed now and see who it is that is commanding this foul attempt of abducting us", Saarok said as they continued to crawl through the tubes

Tedak held on tight to his son as Ji'Zhan disappeared and his hand reached to his combadge to alert security when two bubbles hit them both. He felt a little dizzy and grabbed hold of the seat. Looking around, he noticed he was on a starbase. "What am I doing here?" he wondered aloud, "I am supposed to be on Romulus, negotiating a trade agreement with the Breen."
He had been reassigned to Romulus for a few months as he had been specifically asked to negotiate his deal. Fleet Admiral Euphrati Loken had specifically given him permission to depart in these dire times. Under the condition that he would return to Assaillant as soon as possible.
"Father are you all right?"
Tedak looked up to see D'beren stand next to him, looking to be in his mid twenties. This wasn't right, D'Beren was supposed to be in his 40's at this time, working on the USS Galaxy-B as chief counseling officer. "I could ask you the same," he asked, "you look....young.."
D'Beren merely smiled as he supported his father. "Why don't we contact the base commanding officer and see what's going on? Last I remember I was on Qualinost training with Ji'Zhan in telepathic techniques, as part of my Starfleet training as counselor."
Tedak nodded. "Tedak to Admiral Loken."
=^=Unknown person=^= the computer replied =^=please specify request=^=
"I want to speak to Fleet Admiral Euphrati Loken," Tedak repeated, a little annoyed that the computer replied so emotionally. He remembered Lily but as the computer core had been destroyed ten years ago, the entity that had been Lily had been killed in the process.
"Teeedak, you know there is no admiral Loken on SBA," Lily responded, sounding worried, "are you all right? Do I need to call a doctor for you?"
"Lily?" Tedak cast a surprised glance at his son, who looked equally surprised at his father's current emotional state. "No, direct me to the current base commander."
"Admiral Magellan Lin is at OPS," Lily responded, "I'll warn him of your arrival."
"I'll go meet mother at the airlock," D'beren responded, "she and father are due to arrive any minute from their medical conference on Qualinost. I was due back here soon anyway so I might as well go meet them." He cast a final concerned look on his adoptive father. "Are you sure you'll be all right?"
Tedak waved his son off. "Yes, go meet T'Val and Stuart, they'll be pleased to find you here. T'Val keeps mentioning how much she misses you. And that little brother of yours keeps asking for you too." Tedak remembered that his ex-wife's medical issue was at some time resolved and she and Stuart had finally gotten a son of their own. He walked off in the direction Lily laid out for him and was at last meeting Magellan again. It had been a long time since he'd spoken with the admiral, and he had been one of the few who had grieved over his death in 2422. "Lily, what is the current year?"
"2392," Lily responded, sounding equally surprised, "but surely you knew that?"
"Yes yes of course," he replied, "just have been extremely busy. Please warn Lin of my arrival..."
(Magellan)
D'Beren smiled once more and departed for the airlock, knowing his parents would arrive any minute.

To say seven kinds of hell were breaking out on Assailant would be a major under statement. A total of 136 time bubbles had escaped the engine before it was closed down and these had all now intersected with living matter severly disruptiing the time stream for the individual in question.
Magellan stood in Ops in horror as reports began to come in from all parts of the station. His senior staff were mostly absent. Felix was having trouble in the JAG offices and he had routed officers to help. Vanetti and a security team were making for the conference room where shots had been reported and they had lost contact with the close protection teams their.
"Lily shut it down. Shut the whole base down. Lock all doors No transporters, turbolifts no anything."
F'Rass appeared at the doorway he looked dishevlled and half dressed, "I seem to have lost three days" he stated, "Then your a lucky one" Magellan noted, "Take your post, bring us to red alert and broadcast a quarantine signal."
As Frass responded Captain Voran appeared, "Ah Elarus. Good to see your... " he paused as he noted the Captains ancient uniform. "I understand your in charge" Voran asked directly "He is yes" Morley replied, "This is Admiral Lin" "Something has happened I should be on theConstitution." "I dont have time to explain fully at the moment but somehow you jumped within your life time. Its 2393. We ll get you back as soon as possible, but at the moment I need all hands on deck and I know your a competent officer even if you are from 200 years ago."
=^= This is Vanetti. The conference facility is a mess, Yakrene is dead as are the guards. Ezdreiana, Korok and Saarok are missing.=^= =^= Magellan here. What about Kaskrene?=^= There was a pause. =^= I think we have him. We ve found some kind of larvae.=^=
Magellan was overwhelmed this was nearly more than he could take. He could pretty much guess the problem was a result of his experiment but he had no idea what had happened or how to set it right, especially as the engine was now destroyed. Sidestepping the mounting guilt he replied,
=^= Take him to sickbay. Have them look after him. Then find the other diplomats=^=
=^=Aye Sir=^=
There was a profound lack of information but he was slowly reaching a point from which he could work. The base was shut down and isolated. Those affected were now resticted to the areas in which they were. Now they just needed finding and helping.
"Frass co-ordinate a search to find who have been affected, quarantine them in Cargobay 6. Find out if Dr Mercy and T Val are okay. we need their help."
"Admiral Magellan" a voice greeted Magellan turned to see Tedak. the Romulan seemed much older. "Tedak you ve been affected too I see. Do you know what happened."
"Just a bright light and then I was here, in the past." "Same here, except this is the future for me" Voran noted
"The future!" Magellan seized on "Tedak do you remember this incident happened, how it was solved"
Tedak shook his head, "This is all new to me." Magellan frowned, he now knew that the effects were obviously on parallel time streams. That boded well for any temporal accidents. The last thing he wanted was a grilling by officers from the Temporal Investigations Department. For now he assumed nothing they expereinced here would affect the time line adversly if they managed to restore them to their time zones.
Im out of my depth he suddenly realised. The situation was contained but he had no idea how to resolve the problem. "Frass search the database for temporal science specialists" Frass nodded and examined his console a moment. "Theres a Dr Chapman she is the nearest." "Send her an emergency signal and get her quickly." "Aye sir"
He turned back to the group of officers in front of him. "Mr Morley I want you back on the Galaxy in temporary command. But first please escort Captain Voran and Ambassador Tedak to Cargo Bay 6."
TAG ALL
OOC: Okay I ve tried to draw some of the threads together a little. I dont think I ve seen such prolific posting!!!! Remember each affected person knows only what they knew in their time frame.

Felix was attempting to reason with the crazed officers when the security guards burst through the door creating enough distraction for Felix to be able to take a dive towards the Cardassian to knock the phaser out of his hand. After that took place all hell broke loose and phasor fire filled the air. After the dust settled Felix looked up from the floor where he was lying. Apparently the Cardassian, after Felix knocked the phaser out of his hand, smacked him on the back of his neck knocking him out for a moment. Around him were the bodies of all the humans, the Cardassian, his Bajoran hostage and several other people knocked out cold. And of the security officer who burst in the room, half were unconscious.
Felix was holding his head as he got of the floor as one of the security officers run over to help him.
"Are you ok sir?", he questioned
"Yes I am fine, thank you", he said
When he said that suddenly all of the doors around them slammed shut and force field arose around them. The red alert signal started blaring through the station at the same time informing everyone to stay where they are.
"What on Earth is going on?", Felix asked no one in particular
"Sir?", the officer questioned
"Never mind lieutenant.", he said as he tapped his comm. badge

=/\=Understood sir. On my way, Savali out=/\=
After finishing his conversation with Magellan, Felix ordered the security officers there to escort the people who caused the incident to cargo bay 6 and the knocked out security officers to sickbay. As they approached the door the force field went down and they were able to go through the door.
--Later at OPS--
As Felix entered OPS he saw that Magellan was there and he went over to join him.
"What is happening sir? What kind of temporal disturbance was this?", he questioned

Saarok and Korok were still crawling through the Jeffries tubes when suddenly the hatch in front of them closed and a force field appeared. It would seem i was mistaken, Saarok thought. The Tholians are smarter then he thought. Apparently the power system within the holodeck was independent from the one on this base or ship where they were. And now they were stuck inside this Jeffries tube.
"I am afraid we are... stuck", Saarok said to Korok

Despite the generator having been shut off, a forcefield had still been erected to bar Korok and the admiral's way. "I am afraid we are... stuck", The Vulcan said. "You give up to easily" Korok scolded him, as he withdrew a small wadge of plastic explosive from his sash "I love this thing" he added, tugging at his sash. Placing the explosive on the bulkhead, gestured to Saarok to withdraw back from the explosive and to behind the previous door they had passed through. Attaching a micro-detonator to the exlplosive, he retreated back to Saarok's position, and used the manual door control to close the hatch. He removed his scanner, and primed the explosive. "Prepare for a bang" he warned Saarok, seconds before the explosive was triggered, a loud bang, and a thud against the hatch followed. Korok opened the hatch and emerged to see a smoking hole in the side of the bulkhead. Poking his head through, he saw that he had blown into a turboshaft. Looking down, he saw that the turbolift had halted between levels somewhere a few decks below, allowing the emergency ladder to be climbed upwards. "If I am correct, the command centre will be upwards, that is where the Vorta who is running this operation will be. If we eliminate them, we should be able to gain control of this station and contact the nearest fleet" He swung out onto the ladder and began to climb one handed, his right hand still firmly clutching his disruptor.

Magellan scowled as the reports of a small explosion came in,
"I thought we had forcefields in that area?"
"We do but they are at only half power, someone took out a generator in that sector and now the explosion has overloaded it."
"Explosives! Have Vanetti get there fast" He ordered quickly, "I mm going down to the lab to see what I can do to sort this mess out. Felix - you have Ops."
Magellan made his way down through the base. It was slow work he had to stop at each door and open it manually and then lower forecfields, rasing them behind. He also had to use miles of ladders to reach his destination.
The lab was pretty much as he left it, a charred mess. He couldnt work out what had gone wrong. Nothing he had been doing should have had this effect. It was only one Temporal Engine and on low power at that. His mind boggled at the number of unknown variables that could have been responsible. He slumped to the floor his head in his hands this was all his fault and way out of his league, for the first time in his life he had no idea what to do.

"Mr Morley I want you back on the Galaxy in temporary command. But first please escort Captain Voran and Ambassador Tedak to Cargo Bay 6." Magellan ordered, while beckoning the officer in question.
Tedak and Voran exchanged a look of understanding. "We're a security risk I suppose," the Romulan offered, "especially since you're in a time with technology you're not supposed to have any knowledge of, and I am of a time where I can cause a temporal causality loop here as this is my past. We should limit our interaction with people fo this time as much as possible."
The Romulan glanced up at Magellan. "My son was also affected," he offered, "he should be at the shuttlebays but it may be already too late to stop him. In this timeline he's a three year old, but when I spoke to him earlier, he was twenty-three. He was going to meet his mother and stepfather, and his brother."
After having offered that information, he followed Morley to cargobay 6. "Are we to remain here as prisoners?" he querried politely, "or are we merely detained here until further notice. I would like to speak to my counterpart of this time if that is possible. My friend Vebn s'Khellian, is he still aboard this station?" Tedak looked somewhat anxious, especially since he had just started forming a friendship with his counterpart, after years of bickering and finaly a mutual respect. From his point of view, Vebn was killed by a common Romulan dissident only a few years ago. Tedak had in turn killed the dissident but had been unable to save Vebn.
ooc: plz don't detain D'beren until Mercy has responded to him to meet with his parents.

"I usually do not bear explosives when at my office", Saarok responded to Koroks remark on him giving up that easily
As the two of them continued to climb through the turbolift shaft, after climbing for several decks they found that this time they were stopped by an impenetrable force filed and instead of going up they turned right and broke their way out of the shaft. And luck would put it they ended up in front a Romulan who was escorted by 2 Starfleet security officers and a Starfleet Captain. They immediately drew weapons and targeted them on the people in front.
"What is this?", Saarok questioned, "The Romulans have betrayed us once more and sided with the Tholians in this foul attempt?", he questioned
"Shall we force this Romulan to take us to his commander", Saarok questioned his commrad

"The Romulans have betrayed us?" Korok was getting more and more confused, as he levelled his disruptor at the two security officers escorting the Romulan and Starfleet Captain "That's not possible, they were in the assault. It was their job to secure the right flank of Chintoka and hold off the orbital weapons platforms there. They must..." Thinking on his feet, he quickly fired his disruptor, killing both the security officers. He advanced to the two prisoners. "I am Colonel Korok, and this is Admiral Saarok. I believe we have been kidnapped by either the Dominion or the Tholians for some reason that we can't explain. We must get to the command deck, and contact the nearest fleet" He gestured at the two security officers corpses "You had better take their weapons" He suddenly re-raised his disruptor at the Starfleet Captain. "Wait. Why is your uniform so old"

Tedak sighed visibly, regretting that their escorts were killed. "That was unnecesary," he spoke up, "we were merely being escorted for our own safety. There was no need to kill them." He turned to Saarok. "Saarok my friend, you seem to have this knack of getting yourself in trouble time and again. And Colonel Korok I suggest you pick up those weapons yourself because I won't touch them. And please train that weapon of yours elsewhere? Captain Adams is not the enemy. He is as time displaced as we are."
He stepped in Korok's line of sight, obscuring that of Adams. "I am Ambassador Tedak and my companion here is Captain Voran Adams. Saarok here needs no introduction, he is well known to me." A brown firelizard came winging in, his muzzle going a little gray with age. He chirped questioningly as he landed on the Romulan's shoulder. "This is Nut," he introduced his brown avian companion, "he may be of help at some point. For now, however I suggest we continue onwards to cargobay six before someone else gets hurt. We will be safe there until this matter can be resolved."

"What are you talking about Romulan?", Saarok questioned, "I have never laid eyes upon you in my life. What temporal displacement are you... talking about. And i have never heard of a Romulan Ambassador called Tedak.", Saarok said
"This one is most likely another foul attempt of that Tholian to deceive us. So he has made up a temporal anomaly that he can not prove nor disprove ever took place to mislead us", Saarok said, "Do not trust him"

"Ezdreiana, there has been phaser fire, only one deck above you," Lily reported to her.
"Thank you," Ezdreiana said as he rushed upwards. She knew she was close when she heard the familiar voice of Tedak and Captain Voran.
"This is Nut," he introduced his brown avian companion, "he may be of help at some point. For now, however I suggest we continue onwards to cargobay six before someone else gets hurt. We will be safe there until this matter can be resolved."
"That will not be that easy, Tedak," Ezdreiana said as she entered the room," and don't shoot me. As you can see Admiral, Colonel, I'm not a hologram. I'm Ambassador Ezdreiana, the Depurty Director of the Diplomatic Core. Tedak is telling you the truth and if you are planning on shooting me, know that I will be forced to do the same."
"It's nice to see you again, Captain Voran," Ezdreiana said before turning to Tedak," why does this always happen to us."

This was getting more and more confusing. Firstly the Romulans were his allies, but so was the Starfleet Admiral. And now the Romulan was talking of temporal displacement, whilst the Vulcan told him that it was a further attempt at deception. He had never wanted to be a scientist, and this was why; it was easier to kill people than to explain strange circumstances like this. His disruptor wavered, unsure of what to do. If this was a Dominion trap, then lowering his weapon would be suicide. If it was not, well he didn't exactly have much to lose. He held his disruptor higher. The Admiral Saarok was the only one making normal sense at the moment, and so he continually put his faith in him. "You will raise your hands and step away from those weapons" he growled "Then you will escort us to the base's command centre. Co-operate, and you will not be harmed" he turned his attention briefly to Saarok "Set your weapon to stun. We may need prisoners in the command centre to interrogate to find out why this has happened"
